Brothers, Dreams, and Desert Roads | Lafayette Louisiana News
Two brothers, estranged for five years and living wildly different lives—one a desert wanderer, the other a Hollywood dreamer—clash in this gripping California-set play “True West.” Directed by Joseph Vildibill and starring Michael as Austin, Cooper as Lee, Peggy Dursch as Mom, and Peter Lagarde as Saul Kimmer, the production delivers raw sibling tension and powerful chemistry between the leads. Running August 21–23 and again August 28–30, it’s a sharp exploration of ambition, regret, and family fractures—no cowboys here, just real human drama. Don’t miss it.
