A bold new Senate bill, the Living Wage for All Act, aims to hike the federal minimum wage from $7.25 to $25 an hour — the biggest jump ever — to ensure full-time work covers basic living costs. While New Jersey already pays above the federal floor at $15.92, the bill’s phased rollout would still hit major employers by 2031 and smaller ones by 2038.
