- 0:14Speaker 1: Yes, good morning, Good.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Morning to you, Good morning to you. I'm very excited.
- 0:20Speaker 1: I know I'm excited. I think that we talked about this,
- 0:24Speaker 1: but it's been a trend lately to have some exes
- 0:27Speaker 1: of Bob's on the show.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that's already forgotten about that. We did. Yeah,
- 0:32Speaker 3: we literally have. We've just been lighting up the scoreboard
- 0:35Speaker 3: with all my exes lately. We got to start digging through.
- 0:38Speaker 2: The Bachelor annals and start bringing out some of Trista's
- 0:41Speaker 2: skeletons in the closet from the back in the day.
- 0:43Speaker 2: We recently, we recently had on my ex wife, Rebecca Budig,
- 0:49Speaker 2: and then we are not We've had on Estella Gardner
- 0:54Speaker 2: for my season. We've had on Kelly Joe Kaharski, and
- 0:58Speaker 2: now today we're going to interview Meredith Phillips. And Meredith
- 1:03Speaker 2: was the fourth runner up on my season of the
- 1:05Speaker 2: Bachelor and later went on to become the Bachelorette in
- 1:08Speaker 2: her own right, and and We've tried to set up
- 1:12Speaker 2: this set of you a couple of times now, and
- 1:15Speaker 2: we're hopeful that life is busy.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Works out today.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Yeah, very busy, very busy for everyone, absolutely, but yeah
- 1:23Speaker 2: not us, not us. Tea dog, tea, money, and I
- 1:26Speaker 2: are always available always. Yeah, I mean, you know, five
- 1:32Speaker 2: year old's, three year old's, sixteen year olds and fourteen
- 1:35Speaker 2: year olds?
- 1:35Speaker 1: Are those the ages of our respect very close? Fifteen
- 1:39Speaker 1: and seventeen. I'm thinking about.
- 1:42Speaker 4: That the other day.
- 1:43Speaker 1: I almost have an eighteen year old son. Like July
- 1:48Speaker 1: next year, I will have an eight like a full
- 1:51Speaker 1: fledged adult. I will have an adult. Yeah, we have
- 1:54Speaker 1: a third adult in our house.
- 1:56Speaker 3: So when is Max's birthday? July Ony twenty six?
- 2:01Speaker 1: Okay, Chris Harrison.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Oh that's right. I knew that was a special day. Yeah.
- 2:07Speaker 2: So you know yet another thing that you haven't in
- 2:11Speaker 2: tune with, Chris Harrison there. Yeah, I was thinking because
- 2:14Speaker 2: my son Blake is July first, so I was wondering, Uh,
- 2:18Speaker 2: you know where that birthday was? But gosh, I do
- 2:20Speaker 2: I remember, like it was yesterday when you when you
- 2:22Speaker 2: guys had Max.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Oh me too, Yeah, I remember, well, I remember it
- 2:27Speaker 3: for a myriad of reasons.
- 2:28Speaker 2: One, it's like all of a sudden, you start taking
- 2:30Speaker 2: stock of your own life and you're like, what am
- 2:31Speaker 2: I doing exactly when you have a kid. You know,
- 2:35Speaker 2: I'm sitting here flying solo at the time. I'm sure,
- 2:40Speaker 2: but you found a place.
- 2:42Speaker 3: I did. It just took me a little more time
- 2:44Speaker 3: than some that's all.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, a little more time, but we made it.
- 2:49Speaker 3: You know, we're done with the fiddle around the gold
- 2:52Speaker 3: Rush era.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Yeah, Bob was just talking before we started the show.
- 2:57Speaker 3: But it really makes me solid and I throw in
- 2:59Speaker 3: the fiddley f yeah, because you.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Do have to throw in the arms and you know, canation.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Like Ryan just went to North Dakota and he was
- 3:10Speaker 1: saying that it is like all it's like super old school,
- 3:14Speaker 1: like a like a black and white like cowboy movie film,
- 3:18Speaker 1: you know, and all these farms and everyone's wearing cowboy
- 3:21Speaker 1: hats and probably walking around like this.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Yeah, like gold Rush era.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it's pretty crazy when you visit, you know,
- 3:29Speaker 2: some of those places like Montana's like that. You go
- 3:31Speaker 2: to Montana and it is just absolutely crazy, you know.
- 3:34Speaker 2: I mean, it's all like and I want to I
- 3:36Speaker 2: want to spend more time in those places myself personally.
- 3:39Speaker 2: But to know further ado or too much further ado?
- 3:43Speaker 2: What do I say too, without any further.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Ado, without any further ado.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Yes, without any further ado.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Let's bring in our guest, my ex girlfriend from the
- 3:55Speaker 2: Bachelor at season four.
- 3:57Speaker 3: And also what Bachelette was she?
- 4:00Speaker 2: She was right after you, right, so we got to
- 4:03Speaker 2: bring her on. Then let's bring her on. Let's bring
- 4:05Speaker 2: on Meredith Phillips on to the Bacheorette or Therette the
- 4:09Speaker 2: almost famous anymore? Dude, No, we are not, So let's
- 4:16Speaker 2: bring her in. I'm very excited to get to talk
- 4:18Speaker 2: to her. I haven't seen her in many, many, many years.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Welcome to the show whenever we can bring her in.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Hi, Meredith Rye.
- 4:26Speaker 5: It's a day all day here in the Northwest, so
- 4:31Speaker 5: it's raining, and I thought that you you know, I know.
- 4:35Speaker 3: But that's that's a normal fall day in the serving Northwest.
- 4:38Speaker 3: I was in Seattle for quite a few years. I
- 4:40Speaker 3: loved it.
- 4:40Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean the fall leaves and everything is so pretty.
- 4:45Speaker 1: I love that. I love fall. I am just I'm
- 4:49Speaker 1: on it on track to go visit my family back
- 4:54Speaker 1: in the Midwest, and I cannot wait to see the
- 4:58Speaker 1: fall leaves. If it is, how is it in Michigan.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Yeah, it's it's it's very fall. All the fall colors
- 5:04Speaker 3: are full in bloom.
- 5:06Speaker 4: Are you back in Michigan?
- 5:08Speaker 3: I am. Yeah. I moved back to right before COVID. Oh.
- 5:12Speaker 2: I'm so happy that I did because I got to
- 5:14Speaker 2: spend time with my dad before he passed away, and
- 5:17Speaker 2: my kids got to meet him, and so that was
- 5:20Speaker 2: pretty awesome.
- 5:20Speaker 3: But Meredith, welcome to the show. How's your family, how's
- 5:23Speaker 3: everyone doing well?
- 5:25Speaker 5: I lost both my parents. Oh within a two year period.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Oh, oh, my gosh, very very hard.
- 5:35Speaker 3: That's brutal, brutal.
- 5:39Speaker 4: My dad died of a heart attack in his sleep.
- 5:44Speaker 4: In his sleep. Yeah, he didn't know.
- 5:47Speaker 5: I mean obviously, I mean it's he didn't know.
- 5:51Speaker 3: That's a blessing. I contend that's a blessing, right, I guess.
- 5:56Speaker 5: My mom said to me that she laid with him
- 5:59Speaker 5: for a little it before she called the ambulance.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Ah, that's sweet.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I'm so sorry.
- 6:06Speaker 5: Uh. And then my brother and my mom didn't tell
- 6:11Speaker 5: me because I'm so emotional a lot of the time,
- 6:15Speaker 5: until a couple of days later.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 6:18Speaker 4: I was living in La at the time.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:22Speaker 5: Wow. Yeah, and then my mom had just you know,
- 6:27Speaker 5: not to put it lightly, but cancer.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, so cancer sucks. That's what got my
- 6:34Speaker 3: dad too. Yeah.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Where are you now, Meredith?
- 6:38Speaker 5: You're in I'm in the Northwest, okay, Yeah, you came
- 6:43Speaker 5: back from the South. I moved to the Carolinas, which lordie,
- 6:52Speaker 5: I mean, I feel for them right now right now.
- 6:59Speaker 4: I got out of it.
- 7:00Speaker 5: But it's you know, I knew it was coming, and
- 7:04Speaker 5: I work for hospitals, so it's, oh you do you're.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Not in weren't you a chef? You are a chef
- 7:13Speaker 1: chef hospitals? Oh? No, kidding, that's an Yeah.
- 7:18Speaker 3: Wow, my name on.
- 7:20Speaker 1: My shirt and everything.
- 7:21Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 7:26Speaker 1: That's amazing.
- 7:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I've been doing.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Are you like, do you actually work in the hospital
- 7:31Speaker 1: or is this like a remote job where you just
- 7:33Speaker 1: set things up or I have.
- 7:35Speaker 5: A base here in the Northwest and then I travel
- 7:40Speaker 5: to other hospitals that need me. So it's it works
- 7:46Speaker 5: for me.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Do people recognize you from the shell When I first got.
- 7:51Speaker 5: To the hospital that is my base, Yes, they googled
- 7:55Speaker 5: me because because it's a bear hospital. Yeah, the tinier ones,
- 8:02Speaker 5: they're like, we don't care. You know, they're not They're
- 8:06Speaker 5: not going to look for me, you know.
- 8:09Speaker 4: But how about you guys, I mean, Bob I didn't
- 8:12Speaker 4: know yet.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Two kids, Yeah, I got a five year old and
- 8:16Speaker 2: a three year old, both boys.
- 8:18Speaker 5: Wow wow yeah yeah, yeah they are they are.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Animals. I mean, it's a feral community over here. It's
- 8:29Speaker 3: like man, but it's fun.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:31Speaker 2: My wife, she we've been together actually eight years this November,
- 8:36Speaker 2: and she she's she's an amazing mom.
- 8:40Speaker 3: You know.
- 8:41Speaker 2: I mean, I'm I'm uh, you know, I'm always kind
- 8:44Speaker 2: of going all over the place and she has it
- 8:47Speaker 2: on lockdown, you know, which is.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Needed yang kind of thing.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Very much, Yeah, very much. She gets it.
- 8:54Speaker 2: She gets all the heavy lifting and I get all
- 8:56Speaker 2: the light fun stuff. It seems yeah, but does seem
- 9:00Speaker 2: like a fair distribution to stuff. I love that. And
- 9:07Speaker 2: then Trista we were talking. Trista is going to have
- 9:10Speaker 2: she has a seventeen year old and a fifteen year old.
- 9:12Speaker 4: That's crazy, Trista, I do.
- 9:16Speaker 1: I was just saying that I cannot believe he's going
- 9:18Speaker 1: to be eighteen in July, Like I will have an adult. Yeah,
- 9:25Speaker 1: by definition in my house, as you know, in addition
- 9:31Speaker 1: to me and Ryan. But then he's got to.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Go like, yeah, he's got to fly away after eighteen.
- 9:39Speaker 1: I know I have so many friends going through that
- 9:42Speaker 1: right now. Have you guys heard of the term soil
- 9:44Speaker 1: the nest?
- 9:46Speaker 3: No, they have heard that term.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Yeah, so before kids leave for college, supposedly there's this
- 9:53Speaker 1: like phenomenon where kids actually become like pretty rude to
- 9:58Speaker 1: their parents and they like, you know, act like you know,
- 10:02Speaker 1: douchebags or whatever you want to say, because they're trying
- 10:06Speaker 1: to like soil the nest, so it's easier for them
- 10:10Speaker 1: to leave, like subconsciously.
- 10:12Speaker 4: I think that was the same way now that you're talking.
- 10:17Speaker 1: I was, yeah, right.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Yes I wasn't. I was like I loved my nest.
- 10:22Speaker 3: That was all about my nest.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Okay, good, Well that gives me hope that he won't
- 10:27Speaker 1: want to soil the nest, and he'll he'll want to
- 10:29Speaker 1: be just perfectly lovely to his mind.
- 10:32Speaker 3: I think, I think Canyon.
- 10:33Speaker 2: I think my wife soils the nest every time I
- 10:35Speaker 2: leave town for a work because she's not like, she's
- 10:40Speaker 2: not like the one that's like, you know, oh.
- 10:42Speaker 3: My god, call me, I'm gonna miss you so bad.
- 10:43Speaker 2: She's always like get out, you know, take your bag.
- 10:47Speaker 2: I'll see it Sunday. She's soiling her nest, so to speak.
- 10:53Speaker 2: I know if that applies to adult relationships.
- 10:55Speaker 6: I have a.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Feeling that maybe she feels like there are three children
- 11:00Speaker 1: in her house and so getting rid of one of them.
- 11:04Speaker 3: You stole my joke. I swear to you.
- 11:06Speaker 2: I was going to say that earlier when you were
- 11:08Speaker 2: going to go when you were like, you know, we're
- 11:09Speaker 2: gonna have three adults in the house with Max, Ryan
- 11:12Speaker 2: and myself, and I was like, man, if your kid
- 11:14Speaker 2: was here, we'd still just have two.
- 11:15Speaker 3: But I understand, I understand where you're going with that.
- 11:18Speaker 5: Well, I do have to say something, Trista. If it
- 11:23Speaker 5: weren't for you actually marrying Ryan, I don't think that
- 11:29Speaker 5: this series would have gone on.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Oh I agree, I agree.
- 11:33Speaker 5: So you know, I mean I appreciate, I mean, I
- 11:36Speaker 5: love the fact that you are still together, and you know,
- 11:41Speaker 5: it wouldn't have been a series at all.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I mean, it's funny because people have said that over
- 11:46Speaker 1: the years, and it's not like we planned it or
- 11:50Speaker 1: no did that because we had any contention of like
- 11:54Speaker 1: keeping the show afloat and who knows if that's truly
- 11:58Speaker 1: you know, played a part. But that's very sweet of you,
- 12:00Speaker 1: thank you.
- 12:01Speaker 4: Well, No, it's true, it's not sweet.
- 12:05Speaker 2: I agree with Meredith because you can only do do
- 12:07Speaker 2: that formula so many times and if it doesn't work
- 12:11Speaker 2: then it's like then it's like every other.
- 12:13Speaker 3: You know, dating show out there.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Instead you guys, you guys found love, like real love
- 12:18Speaker 2: and it and it gave everyone enough.
- 12:21Speaker 3: I think it like proved the concept enough. Yeah, exactly.
- 12:24Speaker 3: I agree with Meredith on that for sure.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Did you watch the show, Meredith before you applied or
- 12:31Speaker 1: tell us your application story, like did you get nominated
- 12:34Speaker 1: or reply or how did that.
- 12:35Speaker 5: It's interesting because I was living in LA and modeling
- 12:41Speaker 5: at the time, and I was living with my roommate
- 12:44Speaker 5: that I decided to, you know, bring her from Portland
- 12:47Speaker 5: to LA and she was a talent agent and she
- 12:53Speaker 5: sent me up without me knowing.
- 12:56Speaker 4: Oh, I have zero clue that she signed me up up.
- 13:01Speaker 5: Yeah, So I got surprised by a friend of mine
- 13:07Speaker 5: at her house that said, Okay, You're gonna be on
- 13:13Speaker 5: the Bacherette or the Bachelor, And I'm like, what, like yeah,
- 13:22Speaker 5: but with the cameras.
- 13:24Speaker 4: And everything around and I'm like, okay, I mean, I
- 13:29Speaker 4: can do it.
- 13:30Speaker 1: You're so funny. You're similar to Ryan. I feel like
- 13:33Speaker 1: I've always said that he can't say no, and so
- 13:37Speaker 1: that's why he ended up on the show because this
- 13:40Speaker 1: a friend nominated him and a bunch of other guys
- 13:43Speaker 1: that she was friends with, and they picked him and
- 13:45Speaker 1: he couldn't say no. So are you the same like
- 13:48Speaker 1: you just you're like, okay, fine, yes.
- 13:54Speaker 4: In that scenario.
- 13:56Speaker 5: Working in the industry that I'm working in now, I
- 14:00Speaker 5: am finding a way to say no. Personal good you know,
- 14:05Speaker 5: body wise, I'm getting older. I just turned fifty one.
- 14:10Speaker 5: It doesn't work the same.
- 14:12Speaker 3: Yeah, right, No, it doesn't fifty one. You're just a baby, Meredith. Oh,
- 14:19Speaker 3: I'm fifty three.
- 14:20Speaker 2: I'm the oldest person on this call right now. What
- 14:23Speaker 2: and the elder statesman? Yes, you know what, Meredith. I
- 14:28Speaker 2: actually remember that because our origin story was very similar,
- 14:33Speaker 2: because I didn't submit myself to be on the show either,
- 14:36Speaker 2: and I got kind of I thought it was a joke,
- 14:39Speaker 2: and trist has heard the story a million times.
- 14:41Speaker 3: But Lacey Pemberton was the casting director who.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Was calling me, and I I thought it was a joke,
- 14:46Speaker 2: you know, because her name was Lacey from the Bachelor,
- 14:49Speaker 2: and I didn't submit my own information, so I'm like, oh, okay, Lacey,
- 14:52Speaker 2: if that's your real name, you know, I thought it
- 14:54Speaker 2: was really funny, right, And finally she finally she's just like, Okay,
- 14:58Speaker 2: I got guys begging to on the show to meet Trista,
- 15:01Speaker 2: and you don't seem to understand what's at stay here.
- 15:04Speaker 3: So I'm gonna fly you out because I can't get
- 15:06Speaker 3: you off my mind because you're like being funny about it.
- 15:08Speaker 2: And then I just sort of you know that. Of
- 15:09Speaker 2: course I did meet Trista, and you know, she fell
- 15:12Speaker 2: in love, but I told her not enough, not Trista,
- 15:14Speaker 2: there's not enough of me to go around.
- 15:16Speaker 3: Wait, that's not how it went.
- 15:20Speaker 5: I mean, I love y'all's like correlation with each other.
- 15:24Speaker 4: I mean, it's never going to stop, you know.
- 15:27Speaker 3: I mean, I know it's crazy. You know, it's funny, though, Trista, Trista,
- 15:41Speaker 3: I think, will she'll tell you.
- 15:43Speaker 2: But I remember Ryan and I were like bunk bed mates,
- 15:46Speaker 2: like our bunks were right next to.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Her, to each other.
- 15:49Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, weird.
- 15:50Speaker 2: And I would come back to the room man and
- 15:51Speaker 2: Ryan be he would be you know, working on the poetry,
- 15:55Speaker 2: and I'd be working on my seventeenth vodka soda.
- 16:04Speaker 3: It was just it was one of those things.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Man.
- 16:06Speaker 3: I was like, God, I love him, I love him
- 16:09Speaker 3: for her and I love her. And it was like,
- 16:11Speaker 3: but I mean, of course, you know.
- 16:12Speaker 2: You're competitive and you're in this thing, and you don't
- 16:14Speaker 2: want to be a dude kicked to the curb, and
- 16:16Speaker 2: you want to find out if you have a love
- 16:17Speaker 2: connection too, especially when it's Trista, you.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Know, and I know it's pretty awesome.
- 16:24Speaker 5: So let me ask you this, Why Bob was I
- 16:31Speaker 5: the fourth one to be let go?
- 16:39Speaker 4: I know in my mind, why, Well, there's a few
- 16:42Speaker 4: things you speak, you know.
- 16:45Speaker 2: I think part of me was, uh, you know, you're
- 16:51Speaker 2: you're so like in those moments, you're so kind of
- 16:53Speaker 2: like pulled in a million directions, right, I mean, you know,
- 16:56Speaker 2: after having done the show, it's such a different experience
- 16:58Speaker 2: when you're handing out the flower as opposed to the
- 17:00Speaker 2: one who was waiting for a flower, you know. And
- 17:03Speaker 2: I mean I think that's what really kind of galvanized
- 17:06Speaker 2: mine in Trista's friendship too, was after I had been
- 17:09Speaker 2: on her season and I knew. I was like, I
- 17:11Speaker 2: love this person, like we get along so great, you know,
- 17:14Speaker 2: and then I go on to be the baster guy,
- 17:15Speaker 2: and I now understood the burden of going through that,
- 17:20Speaker 2: you know, and you don't no one's done anything wrong,
- 17:22Speaker 2: and you're just trying to like put it all together
- 17:24Speaker 2: and be like, I don't know, I feel a connection here.
- 17:26Speaker 2: I don't feel I don't know what I'm feeling, but
- 17:28Speaker 2: part of it for me too. And if you remember,
- 17:31Speaker 2: I'm sure you remember. I'm sorry to even say that,
- 17:33Speaker 2: but your grandmother passed away during our season, and it
- 17:39Speaker 2: kind of it.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Kind of rocked my world a little bit. I won't lie.
- 17:43Speaker 3: I was like, I need to go home.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Yes, well, well in our date that date was actually
- 17:50Speaker 2: really kind of hysterical when you think about it. We
- 17:54Speaker 2: go on this date and Meredith is a total trooper.
- 17:55Speaker 2: She's like, no, I really want to be here, and
- 17:57Speaker 2: my grandma would want me to continue and stuff. So
- 18:00Speaker 2: we go on this date in and Meredith jump in
- 18:03Speaker 2: if I'm I never want the facts to get in
- 18:05Speaker 2: a way of a good story. So I may have
- 18:07Speaker 2: manipulated some of this in my head. But we go
- 18:09Speaker 2: to Seal Beat, we get on. We get on the
- 18:12Speaker 2: horseback right, and we're trotting down the beach. We're galloping
- 18:16Speaker 2: along in the in the in the and I looked
- 18:20Speaker 2: over like this, well, I'm like this because I'm hold
- 18:23Speaker 2: the reins. I'm like yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm like I'm cowboys.
- 18:29Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm like a badass rider in my mind. Again,
- 18:33Speaker 2: don't let the facts get in the way of the
- 18:35Speaker 2: real story here. I hadn't read, I hadn't ridden a
- 18:37Speaker 2: horse since boy Scout camp, and like, you know, I know,
- 18:41Speaker 2: no one would have guessed the way I was commanding
- 18:43Speaker 2: that thing. But as we're going down the beach, and
- 18:45Speaker 2: here's the story that I remember in my head. I
- 18:48Speaker 2: remember looking over at Meredith and she looks all lovely
- 18:50Speaker 2: and her hair is flowing in the wind and everything.
- 18:52Speaker 2: But I can tell she's got like a her eyes
- 18:54Speaker 2: are watering, you know, maybe like a little itchy throw.
- 18:57Speaker 3: She's like, I'm like okay, and she's like, I don't know,
- 19:01Speaker 3: I might be mildly allergic to horses. This is this
- 19:04Speaker 3: is how I remember this.
- 19:05Speaker 2: I have my mic on and I know I'm miked,
- 19:06Speaker 2: and I'm like, you guys gotta be kidding me. I
- 19:09Speaker 2: think Meredith might be having like some type of allergies
- 19:12Speaker 2: or something. So we pull up to this sand castle
- 19:14Speaker 2: that I have to make Meredith think that I came
- 19:16Speaker 2: out there earlier and constructed this thing.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Out of sand.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Yeah, like I made us the sand castle, which I
- 19:22Speaker 2: totally did not, you know, And I think, I tell
- 19:23Speaker 2: you at the time, like I had nothing to do it.
- 19:25Speaker 2: And we go inside and now I pull out of
- 19:27Speaker 2: the sand under a piece of wood, a steaming like
- 19:33Speaker 2: a crawfish broil style, and this is what we're supposed
- 19:36Speaker 2: to have on our plates, which is like all this shellfish.
- 19:38Speaker 2: And Meredith goes, I am like deathly allergic shellfish. I am,
- 19:43Speaker 2: I right on this my idea. You're like, I'm allergic shelfish.
- 19:47Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Well, all I remember is like yelling at the producers
- 19:50Speaker 2: in my like I step outside of the thing.
- 19:52Speaker 3: I'm like, guys, she's allergic shellfisch.
- 19:55Speaker 5: What I remember is the horse ride and then us
- 20:00Speaker 5: just talking about everything. I don't remember the shellfish story
- 20:05Speaker 5: at all.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Are you allergic to shellfish?
- 20:08Speaker 4: No, okay, do you like shelfish?
- 20:12Speaker 3: Tristes allergic to shellfish?
- 20:14Speaker 1: I'm allergic to the shellfish. I hate shellfish. I don't
- 20:17Speaker 1: like seafood.
- 20:19Speaker 3: You like seafood, not even well you never had Meredith.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Meredith's job.
- 20:23Speaker 1: She can make something, it's the texture. She can't change
- 20:27Speaker 1: the texture.
- 20:28Speaker 5: Well, if it's cooked correctly, it's pretty awesome.
- 20:32Speaker 1: It doesn't matter. Like the chewiness. I just and the
- 20:37Speaker 1: smell of fish, Like.
- 20:38Speaker 2: What about like a light flaky Chilian sea bass that
- 20:42Speaker 2: I mean, have a.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Little bit like salmon or I know I've had sea bass. Whatever,
- 20:47Speaker 1: We'll have a little bit of it, catfish. I've tried to.
- 20:51Speaker 1: I don't I'm not a seafood girl. I just you know, yeah,
- 20:57Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 20:57Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that's I don't know it every day.
- 21:00Speaker 1: But so you remember a totally different story, Meredith than
- 21:04Speaker 1: Bob does.
- 21:05Speaker 3: And that's still horses, horses and sand castles are accurate.
- 21:10Speaker 5: Yeah, I do remember candles in there. Oh I remember
- 21:15Speaker 5: Jase Garbone was there.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Was Jason on your season two?
- 21:20Speaker 4: Meredith?
- 21:21Speaker 5: Yeah, yes, yes, yes, sir. So I remember just feeling
- 21:29Speaker 5: kind of odd because like my friend just lived right
- 21:34Speaker 5: up the street. You know the scene or you know
- 21:41Speaker 5: whatever you want to call it.
- 21:42Speaker 4: But it is a scene.
- 21:44Speaker 5: Well, you and my grandmother just died, and the way
- 21:48Speaker 5: they did it, I think with the phone call and
- 21:52Speaker 5: it was my first date with you, and all the
- 21:55Speaker 5: girls decided that it was going to be me, and
- 22:00Speaker 5: then the phone rang and I was getting ready and
- 22:06Speaker 5: then I got the news and I had to kind
- 22:09Speaker 5: of hide all of emotion. And I don't think that
- 22:14Speaker 5: was correct. I don't know if they do that anymore.
- 22:18Speaker 5: But you know, it wasn't fair to you, and it
- 22:20Speaker 5: wasn't fair to me.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Do you feel like, because I feel like lately on
- 22:24Speaker 1: the seasons, if something like that has happened, I actually,
- 22:28Speaker 1: as a viewer, love that it's like being discussed because
- 22:33Speaker 1: it's like a real life conversation.
- 22:35Speaker 4: Right.
- 22:35Speaker 1: None of us can avoid death, right, And so do
- 22:39Speaker 1: you when you look back at that, do you feel
- 22:43Speaker 1: like you wish you would have been more like in
- 22:47Speaker 1: tune with your emotions instead of saying, you know what,
- 22:51Speaker 1: I need to be like present on the state and
- 22:53Speaker 1: not think about the fact that I just lost my
- 22:55Speaker 1: grandmother and I'm really sad. Do you know what I mean?
- 22:59Speaker 4: I do know what you mean.
- 23:00Speaker 5: And you know I spoke with my mom and my
- 23:04Speaker 5: brother was on the same line and they're like, you're there.
- 23:12Speaker 4: Just do what you need you know what you need to.
- 23:15Speaker 5: Do, and yeah, I said, you know, I want to
- 23:19Speaker 5: come home and like it's not it's not for you
- 23:26Speaker 5: to come home, and we'll deal with this when you
- 23:28Speaker 5: do come home. And that is how I process that,
- 23:34Speaker 5: and yeah, of course you know it's yeah, and that's
- 23:37Speaker 5: not wrong young that It was like, yeah, okay, when
- 23:41Speaker 5: I'm told to do something, yeah I'll stay and yeah,
- 23:46Speaker 5: it actually helped me out to not forget, but just
- 23:51Speaker 5: for a little bit.
- 23:53Speaker 3: Yeah, totally, Yeah, I will say it was. It was.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Uh, it was hard for me on my end, not
- 23:59Speaker 2: nearly as hard as it was for you, but liked
- 24:02Speaker 2: tell you, they told me when and that's why. I
- 24:06Speaker 2: don't know if you remember this part either, but I
- 24:09Speaker 2: asked if we could talk for a little bit before
- 24:10Speaker 2: we went on this date, and you came out to
- 24:12Speaker 2: the limo.
- 24:13Speaker 3: We had a big g limo thing.
- 24:14Speaker 2: And I was like, yeah, I remember, if you want
- 24:16Speaker 2: to go home, I think that's totally okay because I
- 24:18Speaker 2: think I would go home right now.
- 24:20Speaker 5: Well, I remember because the cameras weren't on and they
- 24:22Speaker 5: were pissed.
- 24:23Speaker 4: Off about that because we actually talked, right.
- 24:26Speaker 5: Yeah, I had my makeup bag in there, and so
- 24:29Speaker 5: they were mad that we actually had a conversation without
- 24:33Speaker 5: them filming.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Yeah, but I didn't want Like I was like, I
- 24:36Speaker 2: felt like it was just such a violation, you know.
- 24:37Speaker 2: I was like, she needs a minute and not with me, guys,
- 24:41Speaker 2: like she hardly even knows me, Like this is not
- 24:43Speaker 2: fair to her. And then yeah, and then they were
- 24:46Speaker 2: you were like, you know, oh, man, I was so
- 24:49Speaker 2: annoyed by that. And then when they asked, you know,
- 24:52Speaker 2: and then I I wanted you to be able to
- 24:56Speaker 2: see your family too, and they were like, you know, well,
- 25:00Speaker 2: because I said, I go, I go, what happens if?
- 25:02Speaker 2: Because I was like trying to weigh out what to do.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Quite honestly, I was like, like, what happens if, Like
- 25:07Speaker 2: does she get to go home and see her family
- 25:09Speaker 2: if I don't give her a rose? And they're like, nope,
- 25:11Speaker 2: she'll be on she'll be sequestered, And I'm like, and
- 25:14Speaker 2: if I give her a.
- 25:15Speaker 3: Rose, does she get to see her family?
- 25:17Speaker 2: Like yeah, now, I was going to give you a
- 25:18Speaker 2: rose anyway, quite honestly, but but I was also at
- 25:20Speaker 2: that point where I was kind of like, because I
- 25:23Speaker 2: won't give her a flower, if she gets to go home,
- 25:25Speaker 2: cinner like, because I wanted you to do to get to
- 25:27Speaker 2: go home, you know. And and then I got to
- 25:30Speaker 2: meet your family and it was a sense at a
- 25:31Speaker 2: time for everyone, of course, and that was tough. And
- 25:33Speaker 2: I really, you know, I really love I remember your brother,
- 25:36Speaker 2: and I remember your mom and dad being such lovely people,
- 25:38Speaker 2: and you know, I remember being in your house in Portland.
- 25:41Speaker 2: And but there again, the thing I remembered, you know,
- 25:45Speaker 2: the most, was our first stop on that date was
- 25:49Speaker 2: to the cemetery, and I.
- 25:51Speaker 3: Remember thinking, this is just not right.
- 25:53Speaker 2: She should be here with her family, not with me,
- 25:55Speaker 2: like I remember I was, so I was struggling, man,
- 25:57Speaker 2: I was struggling with the whole thing.
- 26:00Speaker 4: Well, yeah, I was too.
- 26:03Speaker 5: And you know when the producers ask you, you know,
- 26:07Speaker 5: what do you want to do? What do you want
- 26:08Speaker 5: to do? And you know, I haven't seen my family
- 26:10Speaker 5: for so long.
- 26:12Speaker 4: Yeah that's maybe what I want to do.
- 26:14Speaker 5: And it was probably incorrect, but you know, at least
- 26:19Speaker 5: I had people around me and helping me out.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I remember.
- 26:26Speaker 3: I remember it well.
- 26:27Speaker 2: I remember thinking to myself, like, gosh, she should be here,
- 26:29Speaker 2: not with me in a camera crew like it should
- 26:32Speaker 2: be in her family, you know.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Yeah, it was tough. That was tough because I didn't know.
- 26:39Speaker 2: I didn't know the right thing to say, you know,
- 26:41Speaker 2: And normally I'm pretty good in those moments that you know,
- 26:43Speaker 2: but in that one, I was just like, I don't
- 26:45Speaker 2: even really know what to say.
- 26:46Speaker 5: Probably should have said something funny, which.
- 26:49Speaker 3: I think I did.
- 26:51Speaker 4: Yeah, like or at least part or something.
- 26:55Speaker 3: You know. Yeah, that's just what that just doesn't happen.
- 26:57Speaker 3: I don't think I'm capable of that.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Oh yeah, no, I'm sure you're not. No, let's get
- 27:04Speaker 1: Jass on the phone.
- 27:06Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, she'll be like, oh my god, don't get
- 27:12Speaker 3: my kids on the phone. They're the ones they'll tell
- 27:13Speaker 3: the truth.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, exactly. So as a bachelor, then you get
- 27:20Speaker 1: asked to be bachelorette and what were your initial thoughts
- 27:24Speaker 1: on that and did you need a lot of convincing.
- 27:28Speaker 4: Well, this is.
- 27:30Speaker 5: Kind of a long but short story. Kelly Joe was
- 27:34Speaker 5: actually originally to be the bachelor.
- 27:37Speaker 1: We talked to her about that, did you Yeah, And
- 27:41Speaker 1: then she I.
- 27:44Speaker 4: Was living in LA and she met somebody and she
- 27:49Speaker 4: was like, no, I mean I'm not going to do it. Yeah,
- 27:54Speaker 4: I guess that was the second choice. So you know,
- 27:58Speaker 4: I mean it made I mean, Kelly Joe is awesome.
- 28:01Speaker 5: I mean I yeah, I mean she's awesome, a bundle
- 28:06Speaker 5: of energy and yeah, you know she's an entrepreneur and
- 28:11Speaker 5: leverage of that. But I remember being on the phone
- 28:14Speaker 5: with her in LA when it happened with her mom.
- 28:19Speaker 5: Her mom's awesome too, Yeah, And I said, are you
- 28:24Speaker 5: sure that you don't want to take this? Yeah, I
- 28:27Speaker 5: and the jobs, so to speak, and she's like, no's
- 28:33Speaker 5: like you take it. And then I asked my family
- 28:39Speaker 5: and they're like why not, you know, And I almost
- 28:44Speaker 5: said no, because I'd rather just remain you know, a
- 28:53Speaker 5: model and you know, work for hospitals.
- 28:57Speaker 4: But yeah, uh do.
- 29:00Speaker 1: You because obviously you didn't end up with Ian. No,
- 29:06Speaker 1: that's another no, I know, But do you do you
- 29:11Speaker 1: look back on that and have any regrets?
- 29:16Speaker 4: I do have some regrets.
- 29:27Speaker 5: You know.
- 29:27Speaker 4: When Ian came out of that limo of the last one,
- 29:32Speaker 4: I mean, that was on purpose. Let's be honest. That
- 29:36Speaker 4: was on purpose because you know, they say I fixed
- 29:41Speaker 4: this tie, but I just knew right then. So it
- 29:44Speaker 4: was like, oh, great, I have.
- 29:47Speaker 5: Two and a half and like maybe a month and
- 29:51Speaker 5: a half because I guess my show was.
- 29:53Speaker 4: Like the fastest that they shot, so I didn't really
- 29:59Speaker 4: have have a lot of time.
- 30:02Speaker 5: To consider anyone else, Like, I don't know how long.
- 30:09Speaker 4: Did you guys?
- 30:09Speaker 2: That was?
- 30:10Speaker 1: How long you shat?
- 30:13Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 30:14Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, that's just what it was back then.
- 30:18Speaker 3: But that's what it was back then.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Now it's like, you know, that's why I think now
- 30:21Speaker 2: the casting is so different, because if you don't have
- 30:23Speaker 2: three months to go to the Netherlands or Thailand, you're
- 30:25Speaker 2: not that right.
- 30:28Speaker 5: I mean, okay, first of all, let's talk about that.
- 30:35Speaker 5: We don't have to talk about the money wise and
- 30:38Speaker 5: what we got paid, because obviously that's not okay, but
- 30:43Speaker 5: I didn't, so there you go.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:46Speaker 5: So, but it's just it's transpired into something that I
- 30:52Speaker 5: don't really want to watch it anymore.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Oh you'll watch it at all.
- 30:57Speaker 4: I don't. I don't have TV.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Oh interesting, I would not survive without television. Let me
- 31:06Speaker 1: put that on record.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Considering the fact that I was on the phone with
- 31:09Speaker 2: my U, my internet provider and able provider right before
- 31:12Speaker 2: this call going my TV's not working.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Right, Honestly, I was just watching Max play hockey on
- 31:21Speaker 1: my television because we have happy YouTube app or whatever
- 31:25Speaker 1: on there and I get, you know, put it up
- 31:29Speaker 1: on my on my screen and watch him kind of.
- 31:32Speaker 6: Like he's right there skating in my living room.
- 31:44Speaker 4: Yeah, how's Ryan.
- 31:48Speaker 1: He's good. He's he's feeling good and he's happy to
- 31:53Speaker 1: not be commuting two hours to work, which was what
- 31:56Speaker 1: he was doing. We just moved to dinner. Yeah, so
- 32:00Speaker 1: he's good.
- 32:01Speaker 4: He's good.
- 32:02Speaker 1: So going back, I feel like we got we got
- 32:05Speaker 1: highjuction for some reason. I don't know. But do you
- 32:08Speaker 1: have any regrets about the show and Bachelorette or Bachelor
- 32:14Speaker 1: or life after?
- 32:16Speaker 5: I do have some regrets from the Bachelorette, meaning that
- 32:26Speaker 5: I was kind of told what to do and instead
- 32:32Speaker 5: of me doing what I really wanted to do, got
- 32:36Speaker 5: it and you know, being you know, picking out like
- 32:42Speaker 5: the rings and all that and lied to about how much.
- 32:45Speaker 1: They cost and what do you mean what do you
- 32:48Speaker 1: mean they lied to you about how much they cost?
- 32:51Speaker 4: Yeah? I mean I was, I picked out three rings.
- 32:56Speaker 1: So you okay, you picked out three rings? Because I
- 32:59Speaker 1: don't know if I.
- 33:01Speaker 4: Did you get that?
- 33:02Speaker 1: If I picked that rings? Did I went to her instant?
- 33:06Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 33:06Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah I did.
- 33:08Speaker 4: I got a choice.
- 33:09Speaker 3: I was gonna say. I thought they would make the
- 33:10Speaker 3: girls like choose.
- 33:13Speaker 2: They liked and then the guys basically was to choose
- 33:16Speaker 2: from exactly yeah.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Yeah, and.
- 33:21Speaker 5: So I mean I picked out the one that I liked.
- 33:27Speaker 4: I I regret.
- 33:29Speaker 5: I know, I don't really want to say this, I guess,
- 33:33Speaker 5: but I'm going to One of the producers said, if
- 33:38Speaker 5: you don't give her this ring.
- 33:42Speaker 4: Just do it for me. That's all I'm going to
- 33:46Speaker 4: say about that.
- 33:48Speaker 3: What meaning like, if you don't want to propose, just
- 33:50Speaker 3: do it anyway type of thing.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Oh, Like, basically you're saying like they were give her
- 33:56Speaker 1: the ring purpose? Yeah yeah, is that what he told
- 34:01Speaker 1: you afterwards.
- 34:05Speaker 4: The producer did? Yeah?
- 34:07Speaker 1: Yeah, Oh the producer actually told you that he said that, Yeah, yeah, So.
- 34:13Speaker 4: That was kind of disappointing.
- 34:15Speaker 1: I mean it was kind of like a want like,
- 34:18Speaker 1: so you so you're engaged at this point and you
- 34:22Speaker 1: hear from the producer that he told Ian to propose
- 34:27Speaker 1: or else. Essentially, I'm sure if that was me, I
- 34:32Speaker 1: would be like, wait, what, I had no idea, like
- 34:35Speaker 1: if they.
- 34:35Speaker 5: Gave him a bunch of alcohol, probably, I mean the
- 34:40Speaker 5: producer or Ian, they gave Ian a bunch of alcohol
- 34:44Speaker 5: because he didn't see okay, I mean he didn't seem
- 34:48Speaker 5: right to me.
- 34:49Speaker 4: I mean I had nothing to drink.
- 34:51Speaker 5: So I'm just waiting there, you know, who's going to
- 34:55Speaker 5: come through, And I'm waiting for him, and he's drunk
- 35:01Speaker 5: as a skunk and he gets down on one knee.
- 35:04Speaker 5: Well actually, if you remember, he actually stood instead of
- 35:09Speaker 5: got down on one knee.
- 35:11Speaker 4: Okay, proposed and the producer was like.
- 35:14Speaker 5: Yeah, and he's like, I mean he's Brazilian.
- 35:22Speaker 4: I don't know, I.
- 35:23Speaker 3: Mean coaching romance, right.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Have you had any contact with him after your breakup?
- 35:32Speaker 5: I think he's back in Brazil, but no, no, they haven't.
- 35:38Speaker 5: I don't think for some reason, he doesn't want any
- 35:43Speaker 5: correlation with the show. Yeah, so some people are like
- 35:49Speaker 5: that after their experience on the show.
- 35:51Speaker 2: I mean Alex Rochelle's like that, right, I mean, the
- 35:53Speaker 2: original Bachelor, He's he's never wanted.
- 35:56Speaker 3: Anything to do with it. Yeah, Charlie Charlie Maher, who
- 35:58Speaker 3: was from Trista's season.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, he and I became really good buddies. Share
- 36:03Speaker 2: a birthday like every year, like it's up five eight,
- 36:05Speaker 2: you know, cause it's May eight. But yeah, he has,
- 36:07Speaker 2: he has no connection to it all. Well he did
- 36:10Speaker 2: for a little while after, remember he went to work.
- 36:11Speaker 1: For it, did Yeah, he did. And some people are
- 36:15Speaker 1: like that, they just want to return back to normal life.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Totally understand that, Like it's all it's all good. I mean,
- 36:20Speaker 1: it's kind of a different beast these days with Bachelor Nation,
- 36:23Speaker 1: and you know, just how if you're on the show,
- 36:26Speaker 1: you were affiliated and it's kind of hard to break away.
- 36:31Speaker 1: But I totally understand that.
- 36:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:33Speaker 5: I never had, I mean a bad experience, but it
- 36:36Speaker 5: was still new.
- 36:38Speaker 4: I mean we all went through I mean the newness
- 36:42Speaker 4: of it, you know. Yeah.
- 36:44Speaker 2: I think I think the producers were learning as much
- 36:46Speaker 2: about it at that time as we were, you know
- 36:48Speaker 2: what I mean, because I mean I talk to him
- 36:50Speaker 2: now like I still, you know, randomly keep in touch
- 36:52Speaker 2: with Carbone every now and then, Sally Michael Charles. Yeah, Yeah,
- 36:56Speaker 2: their experiences were so new then too, they were, and
- 37:01Speaker 2: I mean I don't think they always feel so good
- 37:03Speaker 2: about Stuffy they had to do as producers sometimes when
- 37:05Speaker 2: it would really it was fun, fascinating.
- 37:07Speaker 3: Yeah, we had fun then I think it got dark
- 37:10Speaker 3: years later.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Yeah, Yeah, but I will say they do still have fun.
- 37:16Speaker 1: So I've been on a couple of the recent shows,
- 37:20Speaker 1: and I love the producers now too. I mean, obviously
- 37:25Speaker 1: I have very strong bond with the producers back in
- 37:28Speaker 1: our day, but but they do still have so much fun.
- 37:32Speaker 1: I just love that. I love the energy of the
- 37:35Speaker 1: people behind the scenes, all the all the crew, you know,
- 37:38Speaker 1: the producers, the director Ken Fuchs and you know for
- 37:42Speaker 1: the live shows and stuff. But I do still love
- 37:47Speaker 1: the energy, So I will say that they do still.
- 37:50Speaker 5: I mean, nothing was I mean everything was as it
- 37:57Speaker 5: is reality when it was TV. So I don't know,
- 38:02Speaker 5: if you know the Bachelor or about for rut now
- 38:07Speaker 5: a day, if it's are you supposed to say.
- 38:12Speaker 1: Something that you're not or you know, I think you
- 38:16Speaker 1: just like honestly, I feel like they probably prompt people still.
- 38:23Speaker 1: I know they do, you know, because they have interview
- 38:26Speaker 1: questions and stuff that they ask you in your itms,
- 38:29Speaker 1: and but they do. I I think I still believe,
- 38:33Speaker 1: because I've been on set for the last few shows,
- 38:37Speaker 1: that there are like dates where they take you and
- 38:42Speaker 1: then it's like they're just there as like a fly
- 38:45Speaker 1: on the wall. And I I there are people who
- 38:48Speaker 1: still believe that it's scripted, and I still will defend
- 38:52Speaker 1: the fact that it's not.
- 38:53Speaker 2: It's yeah, yeah, it wasn't for us. I mean it
- 38:58Speaker 2: wasn't on mine Inmeredith's season, so it wasn't from Tristan
- 39:02Speaker 2: my season either. So yeah, I can say, you know,
- 39:04Speaker 2: from having gone from the bachelright to the Bachelor, that
- 39:07Speaker 2: I was never told what to say or you know,
- 39:10Speaker 2: I was told, but I was I was told about
- 39:12Speaker 2: situations right, Like I was told on the first night.
- 39:15Speaker 2: These three girls are kind of mad at this girl.
- 39:16Speaker 2: Here's what we're thinking you did.
- 39:19Speaker 1: I don't think they get involved.
- 39:21Speaker 3: I asked for her.
- 39:21Speaker 2: I was like, I was like, if you want me
- 39:23Speaker 2: to go up there and grab somebody, I need to
- 39:24Speaker 2: know why, Like what are you.
- 39:25Speaker 3: Guys doing amazing?
- 39:27Speaker 2: I mean, so they said they'd be like, well, these
- 39:29Speaker 2: three girls seem to not like this girl, so we
- 39:31Speaker 2: want you to come up and ask this girl for
- 39:33Speaker 2: a moment ago you know, like the moment might have
- 39:36Speaker 2: been not scripted, but the moment might have been arranged
- 39:39Speaker 2: to a certain degree.
- 39:39Speaker 3: But I understood why. I got well, but.
- 39:42Speaker 5: You know, you know, I mean, you're asked to do
- 39:47Speaker 5: you know, the bio, all the paperwork, right, before you're
- 39:51Speaker 5: accepted to be this person in reality TV. Do you
- 39:55Speaker 5: remember filling all that stuff out and doing, yeah, the
- 39:59Speaker 5: psychologue work and all that.
- 40:02Speaker 4: So it's a play like Okay.
- 40:06Speaker 5: Well we're going to have her too. She's not gonna
- 40:11Speaker 5: like that one, but this one's probably going to get
- 40:14Speaker 5: together with this one, and then you know, I mean
- 40:18Speaker 5: it is an orchestra.
- 40:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean you have to know the people who
- 40:22Speaker 1: are coming on the show. I think the psychological testing
- 40:25Speaker 1: and all of that is really important because it is important. Yeah,
- 40:29Speaker 1: you need to know. And honestly, I loved doing it
- 40:32Speaker 1: because I'm like, I want to I want to know
- 40:34Speaker 1: about myself, Like I don't need the results. Yeah, I like.
- 40:38Speaker 5: Doing it too exactly, you know, Yeah it was fun
- 40:43Speaker 5: for me.
- 40:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 40:44Speaker 1: I would love for you to just tell everyone how
- 40:47Speaker 1: life is now, Like are you are you happy that
- 40:51Speaker 1: you were on the show, and like, what were the
- 40:54Speaker 1: good good parts of being on the show and what
- 40:57Speaker 1: you've taken away to this stuff.
- 41:00Speaker 5: I am definitely happy that I was on the show
- 41:03Speaker 5: for that many years and that I chose to actually
- 41:06Speaker 5: accept and be on it and be a part of
- 41:11Speaker 5: this family.
- 41:15Speaker 4: I don't I don't have any negativity towards d series
- 41:23Speaker 4: at all good? Not at all good.
- 41:27Speaker 1: I'm glad. I mean that's good. I think it's.
- 41:31Speaker 5: You know, my experience, your experience. I can't say for others,
- 41:37Speaker 5: but it was really really good and it was learning experience,
- 41:42Speaker 5: I think for all of us because early. And yeah,
- 41:50Speaker 5: as far as my.
- 41:53Speaker 4: Job wise, it's great. I love working for hospitals.
- 41:57Speaker 5: I love what I do, and I actually would just
- 42:02Speaker 5: like to meet somebody.
- 42:03Speaker 1: Finally, Yeah, I was just that was my next question.
- 42:07Speaker 1: So you're still single?
- 42:08Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 42:10Speaker 1: Yeah, which are you actively dating? Like, are you on
- 42:13Speaker 1: apps or anything like that. I'm not on apps.
- 42:18Speaker 5: I'm constantly working, but I would like to meet somebody
- 42:23Speaker 5: that's free.
- 42:23Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, I just well, hey, anyone listening out
- 42:27Speaker 1: there who has somebody in the Northwest who is around
- 42:30Speaker 1: their fifties. And I was going to say, give Meredith
- 42:36Speaker 1: a DM, but you're not on Instagram or any social
- 42:39Speaker 1: are you.
- 42:40Speaker 4: I do have Instagram?
- 42:41Speaker 1: And I, oh, you do have Instagram. Okay, well I've
- 42:45Speaker 1: learned something new today, So yeah, give give Meredith a DM.
- 42:51Speaker 1: We're going to set you up on the show. I'm
- 42:52Speaker 1: going to play match maker.
- 42:53Speaker 5: Okay, interest, it's your job.
- 42:55Speaker 4: Now to find me a suitor.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Oh yes, I'm going to play matchmaker. Well you know. Okay,
- 43:03Speaker 1: So this podcast is basically we are kind of little
- 43:08Speaker 1: side group sidekicks or what do you call it when
- 43:10Speaker 1: there's a show that takes a different path, like has
- 43:14Speaker 1: a different cast? Uh what do you call it? X? Yeah,
- 43:21Speaker 1: spin off that's the word, thank you, Maddie. So it's
- 43:25Speaker 1: like a spin off. So Ashley and Ben have this podcast,
- 43:29Speaker 1: the almost Famous Podcast, and we came on Bob and
- 43:34Speaker 1: I to talk to the ogs. So yeah, I'm I
- 43:39Speaker 1: were part of this bigger, almost famous podcast world, and
- 43:44Speaker 1: we are super grateful. So if I if I don't
- 43:48Speaker 1: hear from people, it's not because people are not reaching out.
- 43:50Speaker 1: It's because I just don't. It's somebody else's podcast, do
- 43:55Speaker 1: you know what I mean? But yeah, no, oh I
- 44:00Speaker 1: love it. What is your Instagram handle? Let's put it
- 44:03Speaker 1: up here just in case.

- 44:49Speaker 5: No, I changed it when I was sixteen because I
- 44:53Speaker 5: thought it sounded more official, you know, Meredith.

- 45:04Speaker 1: Yeah. Do you call yourself Meredina?
- 45:07Speaker 4: No, Meredith, okay, chef.
