- 5:12Speaker 4: Now we are having our extended best of the eighties
- 5:15Speaker 4: and nineties weekend starting at two o'clock this afternoon. So
- 5:18Speaker 4: I'm guessing you're choosing a lyric from maybe one of
- 5:21Speaker 4: those deecad that's right.
- 5:24Speaker 2: If you've been playing along with the home game, you
- 5:26Speaker 2: know how Fridays go. But this comes to us from
- 5:30Speaker 2: nineteen ninety two. Do you remember the song from Blind
- 5:32Speaker 2: Melon called No rain Yep? Well, in that song, one
- 5:37Speaker 2: of the lyrics says, I can't complain, but sometimes I
- 5:40Speaker 2: still do. I can't complain, but sometimes I still too. Now,
- 5:46Speaker 2: why do we need to keep this in mind? And
- 5:47Speaker 2: what does it mean? And how is it going to
- 5:49Speaker 2: help us to change our mindset this morning?
- 5:52Speaker 3: Well?
- 5:52Speaker 2: I don't know exactly what you're going through, but I
- 5:55Speaker 2: know as a human being, things aren't always easy. And
- 5:59Speaker 2: when you think about it, there's stuff you probably can't
- 6:02Speaker 2: complain about. But you know what, we're human, sometimes we
- 6:06Speaker 2: still do. And I think it's important for us all
- 6:09Speaker 2: to remember that gratitude and struggle can coexist. They can
- 6:13Speaker 2: coexist in the same person at the same time. Embrace both,
- 6:18Speaker 2: because that's what being human is all about, all right.
- 6:21Speaker 2: So if you were feeling some sort of way today
- 6:24Speaker 2: but you didn't feel like you should feel that way,
- 6:26Speaker 2: it's all right, And it's Friday, and once you get
- 6:29Speaker 2: through today, you'll be into your holiday weekend. God willing,
- 6:32Speaker 2: it's ninety seven point one wash FM. I can't complain,
- 6:35Speaker 2: but sometimes I still do. Thank you Blind Melon from
- 6:38Speaker 2: the song No Rain in nineteen ninety two. At your
- 6:42Speaker 2: morning mindset for today and coming up in just minutes
- 6:45Speaker 2: here at ninety seven point one wash FM.
- 6:47Speaker 4: Fifteen years ago today I got married.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Well, congratulations, that is a milestone these days, when we
- 6:55Speaker 2: consider a marriage to be disposable and peace or whatever
- 6:59Speaker 2: to be just a ring up away. Fifteen years congratulations.
- 7:02Speaker 4: I thought you were congratulating me because I actually remembered
- 7:04Speaker 4: it this year.
- 7:05Speaker 3: But have that.
- 7:06Speaker 4: But I've got an idea for what might be a
- 7:08Speaker 4: perfect gift for my husband this year.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Well hold that thought. We'll get to it next.
- 7:13Speaker 7: Fifteen years of wedded, bliss, happy and adverse to you,
- 7:20Speaker 7: Chilli and down over there I Tolby and Chilly in
- 7:23Speaker 7: the morning.
- 7:24Speaker 2: It's ninety seven point one watch FM. I sing these
- 7:26Speaker 2: songs because it is an accomplishment. Fifteen years of marriage
- 7:32Speaker 2: is not a joking matter.
- 7:34Speaker 5: Well, I mean we got a very late start. I
- 7:37Speaker 5: mean I was thirty nine when I got married.
- 7:39Speaker 4: So a lot of my friends have already celebrated twenty
- 7:42Speaker 4: or twenty five years of marriage. We're just at fifteen.
- 7:44Speaker 4: But sure, yes, it is an accomplishment.
- 7:46Speaker 5: You're right.
- 7:47Speaker 4: It was fifteen years ago. We celebrated at Landsdowne Resort.
- 7:51Speaker 4: It was a lovely day, didn't rain, thank god. And
- 7:55Speaker 4: I hate to say it, but I have a terrible
- 7:57Speaker 4: habit of forgetting our anniversarydate. My husband and I aren't
- 8:01Speaker 4: really into the whole gifting thing that much. He gets
- 8:04Speaker 4: me stuffed from year to year, but it's not it's
- 8:06Speaker 4: not a big big deal.
- 8:07Speaker 2: It's fifteen years. You're not going to get him some
- 8:09Speaker 2: crystal perhaps a timepiece.
- 8:12Speaker 4: One is the traditional and one is the more modern thing.
- 8:15Speaker 3: I've got recommendations.
- 8:17Speaker 4: No, no, no, he doesn't need a new watch, and
- 8:19Speaker 4: we certainly don't do the crystal thing. No. What I
- 8:22Speaker 4: think is gonna happen is it was about three months
- 8:24Speaker 4: ago we got a sleep divorce. He started sleeping in
- 8:27Speaker 4: the guest room because of his snoring. Right, sleep gotten
- 8:31Speaker 4: so much better. And since then he did get a
- 8:34Speaker 4: sleep study done and he was diagnosed with severe apnea
- 8:37Speaker 4: and he started a seapap machine and he's been using
- 8:42Speaker 4: that for about a month.
- 8:44Speaker 6: So now that.
- 8:44Speaker 4: He's sort of acclimated to using it, because it takes
- 8:48Speaker 4: a little while, I think I'm gonna as a gift
- 8:50Speaker 4: ask him to move back in.
- 8:52Speaker 3: For one night only.
- 8:54Speaker 4: I would rather have the buzzing of a white noise
- 8:59Speaker 4: seapap than a snore any day of the week.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Well, you know you gotta snore a little bit for
- 9:06Speaker 2: that seapath to kick in.
- 9:07Speaker 4: We'll have to give it a test run, Toby, and
- 9:09Speaker 4: if not, the guest room is still there.
- 9:11Speaker 2: I look forward to hearing how the old college try
- 9:15Speaker 2: goes on Monday after or Tuesday after you celebrate your anniversary.
- 9:19Speaker 3: That's great.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Fifteen years, you know, in all seriousness these days, I
- 9:23Speaker 2: feel at times in society the marriage is a bit
- 9:26Speaker 2: considered by some to be disposable. Well, if it doesn't
- 9:29Speaker 2: work out, we can just split up and move on
- 9:31Speaker 2: to the next and that's and that's okay for some,
- 9:33Speaker 2: but you know what, to make it fifteen years with
- 9:35Speaker 2: one person, congratulations, that is huge.
- 9:37Speaker 3: May I one day be that lucky?
- 9:39Speaker 5: You have to get married first, but.
- 9:40Speaker 3: That's well, moving on.
- 9:42Speaker 2: It's ninety seven point one waschfm 're Toby and Chilly
- 9:45Speaker 2: in the morning.
- 9:45Speaker 3: What you got in the news coming up?

- 9:50Speaker 4: sleep experts actually break down how many times is normal?
- 9:56Speaker 5: I'll share that with you coming up in just a few.
- 9:59Speaker 3: You'll love live the music. It is concert.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Season and you know what, if you want to go
- 10:04Speaker 2: and seem less Everidge and Monona job.
