- 3:29SPEAKER_04: Uh, Argentina plays for yeah, so the July 4th games, so we played uh we played tonight, and we don't play again until like Wednesday.
- 3:38SPEAKER_04: Okay, if we win.
- 3:39SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I know.
- 3:41SPEAKER_04: That's what I said.
- 3:41SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's what I said.
- 3:42SPEAKER_04: I was like, why wouldn't we play on July 4th?
- 3:44SPEAKER_04: Imagine playing Bosnia and Philly on July 4th.
- 3:50SPEAKER_02: We're so patriotic, yo.
- 3:53SPEAKER_02: We don't talk about soccer the other four years, but this week, yeah.

- 4:11SPEAKER_01: Oh, wow.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, wow, okay.
- 4:14SPEAKER_02: He's a very nice player, he's a very good player.
- 4:16SPEAKER_02: We grew up with him, yeah.
- 4:18SPEAKER_02: And you know, we respect him.
- 4:19SPEAKER_02: I love the guy on a human level.
- 4:22SPEAKER_02: I he's a great dad.
- 4:23SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he he you know he does great business and everything.
- 4:27SPEAKER_02: He's just not our guy.
- 4:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he he checks all the boxes except for one, and that's a lot.
- 4:33SPEAKER_04: You know, it's just yeah, it's it actually sucks because he's such a good guy.
- 4:38SPEAKER_04: Well, you know what?
- 4:38SPEAKER_04: I'll tell you a story.
- 4:39SPEAKER_04: And Oud, you may not remember this, but I remember when he was on the cover of Slam magazine in high school, and I remember Oud was like, yo, he's the next great.
- 4:49SPEAKER_04: I'm telling you, he's gonna be.
- 4:51SPEAKER_04: And I was I was like, Man, fuck like what this kid is like a junior or whatever.
- 4:57SPEAKER_04: And he's like, No, I'm telling you, LeBron is the so to your credit, you definitely was uh that was the cover him and Bassie was on.
- 5:05SPEAKER_04: Yeah, Bassie, yeah.
- 5:06SPEAKER_02: Bassie back and tell fair.
- 5:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm like, what the fuck?
- 5:08unknown: Like the hell?
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: He's like, What's that guy doing?
- 5:11SPEAKER_01: I seen him on the podcast.
- 5:12SPEAKER_02: He moved back into the projects, he moved back to the projects, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: Yo, wait, he he made it to the NBA, right?
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: He had a company for a little bit, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 5:21SPEAKER_02: He played about, I mean, he was just okay.
- 5:23SPEAKER_02: He he, you know, New York point guard, they don't got no jumping.
- 5:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he did a YouTube show or something, but yeah, he was doing the podcast.
- 5:30SPEAKER_02: He got locked up, remember?
- 5:31SPEAKER_04: He got locked up, and he moved to the project, yeah, with his baby mom or his yeah, wife or whatever.
- 5:38SPEAKER_04: He told her, yo, we we need my space show.
- 5:43SPEAKER_04: Yeah, he literally moved, he literally was like, Yeah, I'm moving.
- 5:46SPEAKER_04: And she said, Oh, where we move it.
- 5:48SPEAKER_04: He's like, uh, yeah, no, no, I'll be back though.
- 5:52SPEAKER_02: I'll be back.
- 5:53SPEAKER_02: Bassie.
- 5:54SPEAKER_02: Bass, man.
- 5:55SPEAKER_02: He was in high school, he had hove at the game.
- 5:59SPEAKER_02: I mean, like, you know, New York point guards, yo, the hype be like sick, yo.
- 6:03SPEAKER_04: Yeah, Diddy, all of them dude, like everybody was over there.
- 6:07SPEAKER_01: It only matters if Killer Cam is there.
- 6:09SPEAKER_01: If Jimmy Jones and Killer Cam aren't watching, it don't matter.
- 6:12SPEAKER_04: Man, they need to piece it up, man.
- 6:13SPEAKER_04: They need to piece it up at this point.
- 6:15SPEAKER_04: Come on.
- 6:16SPEAKER_04: They got Harlan looking so yeah, like and Dame.
- 6:20SPEAKER_01: Dame's got Harlan looking crazy right now.
- 6:22SPEAKER_01: Oh, Dave.
- 6:25SPEAKER_04: As a as a as a as a patriarch, like he's got it looking crazy.
- 6:30SPEAKER_04: Like, he's got Alzheimer's or something.
- 6:32SPEAKER_04: I love Dame, but why is he doing this?
- 6:35SPEAKER_02: Some of this, yeah, like we love him.
- 6:37SPEAKER_02: Like, I because we I think we see the really genius in him.
- 6:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, some of the stuff he does, though, like the Nikki Nicky.
- 6:44SPEAKER_02: Like, I just I I don't have words for that.
- 6:47SPEAKER_01: Like, I can't I I lost all like confidence and faith in that man when he started talking crazy about Ho.
- 6:57SPEAKER_04: Well, he in the beginning, he had I mean there look, I feel like gripes if you know, selling the company behind like the the I feel like it was the clothing company thing, it wasn't the record company, it was the rock aware shit that shit went left, you know, as a business deal that Jay was obviously probably had a majority interest in that because he was both the licensee person, the face train like like we were talking about, and we'll we'll talk about this later, but Hugh was talking about the uh licensing thing with Caitlin Clark on the poster, sure that was where where the issue was.
- 7:36SPEAKER_04: And so with Hove, he was rock aware.
- 7:39SPEAKER_04: I mean, and and so at the end of the day, without him and whatever Dame Dame was a brainchild, but without Hove, there was no it don't move.
- 7:48SPEAKER_01: There's no learn, yeah, he learned business from Dame.
- 7:52SPEAKER_04: I think yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 7:55SPEAKER_01: Dame doesn't do good business, he's stupid.
- 7:57SPEAKER_04: But but but Hove took enough away from that, which he should give credit to Dame about.
- 8:03SPEAKER_04: He took enough away from that to put him where he is.
- 8:06SPEAKER_02: Hove is not like excluded from all this, like he's done some shit.
- 8:11SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 8:12SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 8:13SPEAKER_02: I think a lot of people, I hate it when Irv got rested the you know, rest in peace, Irv.
- 8:18SPEAKER_02: I hate it when he was like, oh, Dame was just there for the ride.
- 8:21SPEAKER_02: See, that type of like That's bullshit.
- 8:24SPEAKER_02: I think a lot of people think that though.
- 8:26SPEAKER_02: They just think they see Hove being a star and all that.
- 8:28SPEAKER_02: Where he is, yep, yep.
- 8:30SPEAKER_02: Dame had a Dame was the battery in it.
- 8:33SPEAKER_01: So I remember when they were doing all that shit in New York.
- 8:36SPEAKER_01: Is that that was like '94 when um uh was the song uh in my lifetime, right?
- 8:40SPEAKER_01: Remember they did the story about them doing all the handing out baskets full of champagne and and diver chocolates with the records.
- 8:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Godiva, yeah.
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: Those stories floated around, and I remember like messing around.
- 8:53SPEAKER_01: I was like, what 1994?
- 8:55SPEAKER_01: Was it?
- 8:55SPEAKER_01: I was sophomore, junior in high school, something like that.
- 8:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I remember um I used to do the college radio with my boys, and they they got one of them packages, okay?
- 9:05SPEAKER_01: And I didn't see it at all.
- 9:06SPEAKER_01: I remember just seeing Devon.
- 9:07SPEAKER_01: They were telling me about like, oh yeah, we got the the um some package on, you know, I didn't know nothing about no champagne or none of that shit.
- 9:12SPEAKER_01: But they was giving it out to underage people, fuck master slash, everybody.
- 9:16SPEAKER_01: It's a basket.
- 9:17SPEAKER_01: Well, but but it was a moment because those guys, nobody was doing that shit.
- 9:21SPEAKER_01: Everybody was so hooked, you know.
- 9:22SPEAKER_01: Everybody was, you know, all those rappers back then was wearing like fatigues and you know, poop can't click and all that, and then this guy's doing all this jiggy shit.
- 9:30SPEAKER_01: They didn't even understand that lifestyle.
- 9:32SPEAKER_01: And then when they they started playing the record, they're like, damn, you can spit.
- 9:35SPEAKER_01: Because, you know, but Jay, Jay, that was Dame, all that stuff was Dame, yeah.
- 9:41SPEAKER_01: And he was hustling, I'll give you that much.
- 9:43SPEAKER_01: He was discreet about the hustling, and and so was Jay and Biggs, and they was hundred thousand heirs back then, and that was a lot more money in the early 90s.
- 9:51SPEAKER_01: Oh, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 9:54SPEAKER_04: Well, yeah, Dame was I Dame.
- 9:58SPEAKER_04: The whole thing with him, where you say someone's a victim of their environment, it can be in different ways, it can be in business as well.
- 10:05SPEAKER_04: Like Dame got to a point where he was a teenager, 19, 20 years old, and he was dealing with sharks, and he was being very aggressive and only got to a certain level.
- 10:14SPEAKER_04: Yes, right.
- 10:15SPEAKER_04: You can be that way and it caps.
- 10:17SPEAKER_04: He got he rubbed another, and as soon as he started rubbing Liore the wrong way, the shit was it went, it went a whole different direction because Liore was running the entire shit.
- 10:31SPEAKER_04: Liore's like a Dane.
- 10:32SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 10:33SPEAKER_04: And so when the same type of assistant, culture vulture and all that.
- 10:37SPEAKER_04: That's when Dame started, that's when shit started going so left with Dame.
- 10:42SPEAKER_04: But to his credit, he's a visionary.
- 10:45SPEAKER_04: Yes, but uh, you know, the funding element of it is how long in which that can last.
- 10:53SPEAKER_04: And hopefully, it's almost like it's almost like a regular person broke, right?
- 10:58SPEAKER_04: Mike Tyson, remember when they was like, he got five thousand in his bank account.
- 11:01SPEAKER_04: I'm like, even with Mike Tyson having five thousand his bank account, he's still gonna be living better than people.
- 11:08SPEAKER_02: Hey, clicking coupons that fucking weg with.
- 11:11SPEAKER_04: Yeah, there's there's at when you go to a certain level, there's certain, you know, and in a in a in a culture-generated genre vibe where you've done so much for so many people.
- 11:22SPEAKER_04: I always want him to have that his entire life, however it works out.
- 11:26SPEAKER_02: Because he did a lot for a lot of people, yeah.
- 11:28SPEAKER_04: So he should have at least that.
- 11:30SPEAKER_04: He should be able to survive and be have projects and do what you know.
- 11:34SPEAKER_02: What chance, what percentage chance that he comes to the reasonable doubt concert though?
- 11:38SPEAKER_02: What do you think about zero?
- 11:41SPEAKER_02: Zero?
- 11:42SPEAKER_02: Damn, man.
- 11:43SPEAKER_04: Zero.
- 11:43SPEAKER_01: He said that man breath stink.
- 11:45SPEAKER_01: He said it smelled like doo doo and literally being red.
- 11:48SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 11:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like like that's so like red breast.
- 11:51SPEAKER_02: Like, what are we seven?
- 11:52SPEAKER_02: Like, come on, dame.
- 11:53SPEAKER_04: Like Nikki Licky though has to.
- 11:55SPEAKER_04: We understand she has to be uh eliminated from this whole equation with what he's doing.
- 12:01SPEAKER_04: Like, what is this Nikki Lookie like?
- 12:04SPEAKER_04: Damn, why is he doing that?
- 12:06SPEAKER_02: I'm building a um this is a clubhouse right here.
- 12:09SPEAKER_02: Okay, oh, and the garage.
- 12:11SPEAKER_02: Oh, we got a bowling alley too.
- 12:14SPEAKER_02: But okay, but let me ask you this.
- 12:15SPEAKER_02: So Dame's attitude, how do you think it affects his like family, like just his immediate kids and shit?
- 12:22SPEAKER_02: Like it can't even be good.
- 12:24SPEAKER_04: Well, they had a whole there was a whole situation where they didn't really rock with each other for a long time.
- 12:30SPEAKER_04: And then I saw when he's interviewing him on the lake, his son is out there, and it doesn't look like it's a which one the cookies one?
- 12:38SPEAKER_01: The kid the cookie cookie cup.
- 12:40SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah, well, he's he they had some interview where they're out on the lake, you know, because he has like all these docks where these like bubble houses are.
- 12:49SPEAKER_04: Have you seen it?
- 12:50SPEAKER_04: Like where he's like, we're gonna have a school here, and I'm like, that shit doesn't have insulation though.
- 12:55SPEAKER_04: What it doesn't have like summer school, yo.
- 12:59SPEAKER_04: We ain't going in the fall.
- 13:00SPEAKER_04: It's a plastic bubble, like mosquito.
- 13:03SPEAKER_04: As soon as mosquitoes get it's gonna be a game of bugs.
- 13:06SPEAKER_04: Like, what that that's not gonna work right now.
- 13:09SPEAKER_04: It's a lake, Diddy.
- 13:10SPEAKER_02: I mean, I think the game is so like it sucks, it really sucks, yo.
- 13:15SPEAKER_02: Like, yeah, it's anyone that grew up in our era who watched that whole thing like blow up and become something.
- 13:22SPEAKER_02: We just hate to see it, yo.
- 13:24SPEAKER_02: Like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 13:26SPEAKER_02: Uh it's just it's whack, but I mean that whole era fell apart.
- 13:29SPEAKER_01: Like, diddy's in jail.
- 13:30SPEAKER_01: Diddy's in jail, Earth God is dead, Earth God's dead, yeah.
- 13:35SPEAKER_01: Um DMX dead Russell Simmons.
- 13:37SPEAKER_01: I mean, Russell Simmons had to leave the country for a while before that statue with that statue of limitations run out.
- 13:44SPEAKER_01: He moved he moved to Brooklyn.
- 13:46SPEAKER_01: He's back in the States though, right?
- 13:48SPEAKER_02: You think he's no, I think he had a um he comes back and forth.
- 13:52SPEAKER_02: He hates his daughters.
- 13:54SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, they turned into thighs.
- 13:55SPEAKER_02: Is he Scientology?
- 13:56SPEAKER_02: No, he's Buddha.
- 13:57SPEAKER_02: He's Buddha, yeah.
- 13:58SPEAKER_02: He's like a yoga, a yogi.
- 14:00SPEAKER_02: Like he spends his day yoga.
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: Well, you're you're like Rick Rubin's all fucked up now, too.
- 14:04SPEAKER_01: He's like on some.
- 14:05SPEAKER_01: Oh, he does.
- 14:06SPEAKER_01: He wants to start the AI cult.
- 14:07SPEAKER_01: Oh, he's on the thing.
- 14:10SPEAKER_01: Dock with Hope.
- 14:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 14:11SPEAKER_01: They all that Illuminati shit's real.
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: Those guys are all in it.
- 14:14SPEAKER_04: Well, poly market, so you know, so it's this is so interesting, right?
- 14:20SPEAKER_04: AI, okay.
- 14:22SPEAKER_04: No, I'm saying it's like AI is is uh it's it it's what happened with the stock market before when you you bought sold stock directly with a person in the beginning, and you know, you had a banker had to make a deal, and then all of a sudden, you know, you can have discount uh online trading where you can buy stocks, and then you then you have all the tools to help you trade like a professional, right?
- 14:47SPEAKER_04: Like, and then now we have tools on how to be human, right?
- 14:52SPEAKER_04: So AI and all this shit is gonna be like it's gonna it would which in a weird way um is almost like a dystopia type of way, but it's gonna make us more productive ultimately.
- 15:04SPEAKER_04: Sure, just like the advent of the computer, right?
- 15:08SPEAKER_04: We still have warehouses that build things, right?
- 15:10SPEAKER_04: But computers and calculators and things thought that would just eliminate a whole entire why would we ever need an accountant?
- 15:17SPEAKER_04: We don't why would we never need this net?
- 15:19SPEAKER_04: Like we have these machines, you know.
- 15:22SPEAKER_04: But this is what happens, right?
- 15:24SPEAKER_04: Humanity becomes like a microcosm of what they create, and the more that we can create, the less we have to do as far as the day-to-day.
- 15:34SPEAKER_04: So all these things, the last thing and the thing we have is sports at the end of the day.
- 15:40SPEAKER_04: Well, that's presented by DraftKings and FanDuel.
- 15:44SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 15:45SPEAKER_02: Did you say you know what's so funny about the AI thing?
- 15:48SPEAKER_02: Um, I went to Wendy's the other day.
- 15:49SPEAKER_02: Don't tell nobody.
- 15:51SPEAKER_02: And the person bacon cheeseburger.
- 15:55SPEAKER_02: There's not even a person at the who says the order.
- 15:57SPEAKER_02: The guy's name is like Archie or something.
- 16:00SPEAKER_02: They're like, so what would you like?
- 16:01SPEAKER_02: I'm like, I don't know, the biggie mill with nuggets and all that.
- 16:05SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 16:05SPEAKER_02: And then the human you see is at the window.
- 16:08SPEAKER_02: Weird.
- 16:09SPEAKER_04: Well, you know what's gonna eventually happen.
- 16:11SPEAKER_04: It's gonna be calorie intake or how many, you know, how many times have you tracked gone here or gone there, and they're gonna have there, it's gonna be a whole thing to control population, essentially, because if you have someone who the because the biggest thing costs right now is healthcare costs, right?
- 16:29SPEAKER_04: Sure, sure, sure.
- 16:30SPEAKER_04: And people either can't afford it, and if you have insurance, the healthcare system really can't afford it.
- 16:35SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 16:36SPEAKER_04: So it's always a bill that has to give billions and billions of more dollars to the system.
- 16:41SPEAKER_04: And so eventually they're gonna regulate that and they're gonna say, well, we can save five billion dollars annually, right?
- 16:47SPEAKER_04: If we impose a system that costs 300 million dollars annually to limit the calorie intake at fast food places, it's like not having sugar, uh, the big sugar soda stuff when they did in New York, right?
- 17:01SPEAKER_04: That not having it in the cafeteria.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: Well, syntax, right?
- 17:04SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
- 17:05SPEAKER_04: And with uh, I talked to X, they don't serve anything like so there's no juice really, so like it's all like low calorie and this, that, and the other.
- 17:14SPEAKER_04: That's really a way that going forward that they're gonna control it.
- 17:18SPEAKER_04: But it's not gonna stop McDonald's from selling more.
- 17:20SPEAKER_04: There's just gonna be people maxing out their credit card in that way, calorie, you know, because they're gonna be like, I'm not full until I have two Big Macs and I just maxed out my fucking daily intake instead of going to the grocery store.
- 17:32SPEAKER_04: The damn Big Mac value mill, yo, cost$15.
- 17:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 17:37SPEAKER_01: Like, that's not even yo, remember the two cheeseburger meal McDonald's cost what$2.99?
- 17:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 17:43SPEAKER_01: Back in the day.
- 17:44SPEAKER_01: That was a that was a damn good deal.
- 17:47SPEAKER_01: Remember who you're side?
- 17:49SPEAKER_04: You'd be like, I got four dollars.
- 17:52SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yes, the 29 cent hamburgers.
- 17:54SPEAKER_04: 29 cents hamburgers.
- 17:59SPEAKER_02: It's just un Hey, somebody's buying it.
- 18:02SPEAKER_02: I don't know who, because uh that's whack.
- 18:05SPEAKER_04: Well, that's the way people is that's the grocery store alternative.
- 18:08SPEAKER_04: I mean, that's how people are uh feeding their kids, and that's been you know, over time, right?
- 18:16SPEAKER_04: The generationally, that's that's how a lot of people feed their kids every night, every day.
- 18:22SPEAKER_02: Going to McDonald's used to be like a fucking like going to vacation.
- 18:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you asked your parents, we got McDonald's at home.
- 18:31SPEAKER_02: I don't want your burgers, mom.
- 18:32SPEAKER_01: It used to be like a treat because I remember going there, like, yeah, like maybe once every two weeks we do that.
- 18:39SPEAKER_01: He has a family, yeah, you know, and he's just like, oh, let's get these cheeseburgers, you know.
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: Yep, yeah.
- 18:46SPEAKER_01: It's still good.
- 18:46SPEAKER_01: Like, I I I go maybe once every couple of months.
- 18:49SPEAKER_01: I'll get my two cheeseburger meals.
- 18:51SPEAKER_01: I'll feel like shit after I eat it, but the onions though, the onions excuse you that that that bubble McDonald's still when their fries are done right, ain't no gonna fuck with them.
- 19:02SPEAKER_04: Well, you gotta get it, and that's what you gotta eat them like right after my wife and I were just talking uh well about uh the the the when the fries used to be hot piping.
- 19:12SPEAKER_04: I remember as a kid, and you'd you'd you'd bite and and then your parents would have to tell you be careful with the with the with the hot fries because that's how hot they were now.
- 19:22SPEAKER_04: I mean, good luck if you get Uber Eats or something, because by the time they get to the house, oh yeah, yeah, it's it's soggy as shit.
- 19:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's they're not even soggy, they're stiff and they because they're low, they're low moisture, yeah.
- 19:34SPEAKER_01: They because they they have to last long, right?
- 19:36SPEAKER_01: Right anyway, that's a good segue into uh WNBA.
- 19:41SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
- 19:42SPEAKER_01: So what's happening there?
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: Let's start, let's listen, let's do something different because I know Caitlin Clark is the faith of the league.
- 19:49SPEAKER_01: Sure, sure.
- 19:49SPEAKER_01: But yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 19:50SPEAKER_01: She ain't doing that great.
- 19:52SPEAKER_01: Uh but um it's not about doing great.
- 19:53SPEAKER_01: She's putting butts in seats.
- 19:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
- 19:55SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 19:56SPEAKER_02: She she she to me, and why to me, she's the tiger woods of women's basketball.
- 20:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 20:02SPEAKER_02: She's literally.
- 20:03SPEAKER_01: Tiger Woods actually won.
- 20:05SPEAKER_01: Well, I'm well, Tiger Woods is great.
- 20:07SPEAKER_01: It wasn't the face of white supremacy.
- 20:10SPEAKER_01: I mean, not no, I know Caitlyn Clark is not a racist or anything like that, but what she is to the white community, and that other that tall girl who's doing the fingertip.
- 20:19SPEAKER_01: That's not her fault, though.
- 20:20SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah.
- 20:20SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's not her fault, but that's it's just what she is.
- 20:23SPEAKER_02: Yeah, look, I don't think she's the W NBA, the NBA commissioner, manager, all those front office people have fumbled the Caitlin and Clark.
- 20:32SPEAKER_02: They didn't.
- 20:32SPEAKER_02: They just fumbled her.
- 20:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 20:34SPEAKER_01: Because if they embraced her the way they should have, like they did with MJ or LeBron, yeah, be her being the face of the league would be more meaningful to players.
- 20:44SPEAKER_01: So, like, these people are beaten up because yeah, they play, that's the game.
- 20:48SPEAKER_01: But somebody in the league needs to step up like and say something.
- 20:52SPEAKER_01: Like, don't do that.
- 20:53SPEAKER_01: She's the reason why you own a private jet.
- 20:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you got 200k more.
- 20:58SPEAKER_01: She's the reason why you play in 10 more games and have a higher.
- 21:03SPEAKER_01: And the way she I mean, she's taking it like a trooper, but she the only thing about her, and this is the way she was in college, because I did watch Caitlin Clark in college.
- 21:12SPEAKER_01: I'm a real I'm a real one when it came to like watching the the women's basketball or whatever.
- 21:18SPEAKER_01: But she was a dirty player back then too, crying all the time, whining, talking shit.
- 21:23SPEAKER_01: She hasn't changed.
- 21:24SPEAKER_01: It's just that now it's on a big screen.
- 21:26SPEAKER_04: Well, you know what's funny?
- 21:27SPEAKER_04: So or at least the purest.
- 21:28SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
- 21:29SPEAKER_04: I don't know if he was I don't know if he was gonna admit this officially on the pod.
- 21:35SPEAKER_04: Oh but he said something to me earlier, which I totally agree with 100%.
- 21:39SPEAKER_04: He said Caitlin Clark is the female LeBron James.
- 21:43SPEAKER_04: And I was like, bro, you actually did that.
- 21:46SPEAKER_04: Yes, you did.
- 21:47SPEAKER_04: See, yes, you did.
- 21:48SPEAKER_04: You said What under what basis?
- 21:50SPEAKER_04: Oh, I like what basis?
- 21:52SPEAKER_04: Like how she is, like how she's with the personality and she cries and she's like controls the narrative.
- 21:59SPEAKER_04: No.
- 22:00SPEAKER_04: But it's like that's how she is.
- 22:02SPEAKER_04: Well, maybe look, you're in a league.
- 22:08SPEAKER_04: But she's a she's a D LeBron's a diva.
- 22:10SPEAKER_04: So we agree.
- 22:12SPEAKER_04: LeBron's a diva.
- 22:13SPEAKER_01: LeBron been ever since he was 15 years old.
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: Caleb Clark's a diva.
- 22:17SPEAKER_01: He's been held up on a pedestal saying you have to be this.
- 22:19SPEAKER_01: Well, she's underachieving, and everybody's talling her the goat.
- 22:23SPEAKER_01: I don't why would she say she's well right now?
- 22:27SPEAKER_01: Averaging what?
- 22:28SPEAKER_01: Yo, Andrew Reese surpassed her?
- 22:31SPEAKER_01: How much is she averaging?
- 22:32SPEAKER_01: Paige Becker surpassed her?
- 22:33SPEAKER_01: That new girl on how much is she averaging?
- 22:35SPEAKER_02: Oh, Olivia.
- 22:36SPEAKER_01: No, the one the one the other one on down.
- 22:38SPEAKER_01: With the glasses in Afro.
- 22:40SPEAKER_01: Oh, that girl too.
- 22:41SPEAKER_01: She passed her already.
- 22:42SPEAKER_01: How much is uh Asia Wilson's been out there 30 points a game?
- 22:46SPEAKER_01: Averaging double double.
- 22:48SPEAKER_01: Kelsey averages.
- 22:52SPEAKER_04: So she's averaging 21.
- 22:53SPEAKER_04: She's averaging 21.
- 22:54SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
- 22:55SPEAKER_04: Is that what's her percentage?
- 22:58SPEAKER_04: She's 21.
- 23:00SPEAKER_04: Uh she's uh let me see.
- 23:04SPEAKER_04: I just 21 forward.
- 23:06SPEAKER_04: Oh, 21 points, four rebounds, and eight assists.
- 23:10SPEAKER_04: I mean Steph Curry.
- 23:12SPEAKER_04: What does he want her to do?
- 23:14SPEAKER_01: That's Steph Curry.
- 23:16SPEAKER_04: And she's uh 40, she's 40 got MVP.
- 23:19SPEAKER_01: That's two.
- 23:20SPEAKER_04: She's 43% uh field goal.
- 23:23SPEAKER_01: She's not efficient.
- 23:24SPEAKER_01: Come on.
- 23:25SPEAKER_04: 85% free throws.
- 23:27SPEAKER_04: Come on, bro.
- 23:28SPEAKER_04: 34% uh three dollars.
- 23:31SPEAKER_01: Okay, so this year, yeah, I'm looking at 2026.
- 23:33SPEAKER_01: He's 43%.
- 23:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you're right.
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: Okay, so 17 games is he's 43%.
- 23:38SPEAKER_01: They shoot the the shooting in the WNBA ain't that great.
- 23:40SPEAKER_01: I'll give her that.
- 23:41SPEAKER_01: Um, 34% from three.
- 23:43SPEAKER_01: She's doing about what she did in a rookie year, except averaging a couple more points.
- 23:48SPEAKER_01: That's it.
- 23:48SPEAKER_01: I mean, I is she the best player?
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: I don't think she's the best player.
- 23:52SPEAKER_01: She's the most important player, though.
- 23:54SPEAKER_01: Yes, because of the cultural impact.
- 23:55SPEAKER_01: But I don't think that they're doing the right things with her uh because the fans are making her a decisive fig a divisive figure in the league.
- 24:05SPEAKER_01: So it's it's it's like a race war out there.
- 24:08SPEAKER_01: Everybody, and this is what I wanted to I want to play this clip from um I saw on TikTok, this guy, and I'll give you some context.
- 24:16SPEAKER_01: The last game that Indiana played against Atlanta.
- 24:19SPEAKER_01: So Atlanta's the best team in the league right now.
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: They're number one, right?
- 24:22SPEAKER_01: They're top.
- 24:24SPEAKER_01: Angel Reese on that team.
- 24:25SPEAKER_01: She made the difference.
- 24:26SPEAKER_01: Angel Reese.
- 24:27SPEAKER_01: I think she's I don't know.
- 24:28SPEAKER_01: She was on Chicago before, right?
- 24:30SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 24:30SPEAKER_01: She's averaging a double-double, she's having a banner year.
- 24:33SPEAKER_01: She's doing great.
- 24:34SPEAKER_01: Mind you, yeah.
- 24:35SPEAKER_01: She's catching her own.
- 24:36SPEAKER_01: I don't understand when an offensive rebound became a bad thing.
- 24:39SPEAKER_01: Like, oh, you're catching your own missus.
- 24:41SPEAKER_01: Duh.
- 24:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, let me duh.
- 24:44SPEAKER_01: You miss the shot, you catch it, you go back up and get a point, right?
- 24:47SPEAKER_01: I don't understand why that's a bad thing to these people, but whatever.
- 24:51SPEAKER_01: This guy goes on here and makes a whole video, and I'll play it.
- 24:55SPEAKER_01: Oh, does it does the bam?
- 24:56SPEAKER_04: Does he do the boom?
- 24:57SPEAKER_01: Angel Reese, boom! Oh, that guy's hilarious.
- 25:00SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's get in here.
- 25:03SPEAKER_01: They they debu this is the night that Caitlin Clark debuted her signature shoe.
- 25:08SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 25:09SPEAKER_01: And they were in Indiana.
- 25:11SPEAKER_01: It was a home game, made sense.
- 25:12SPEAKER_01: Angel Reese came out with a new model of her shoe and debuted it and walked in with them and all that stuff.
- 25:17SPEAKER_01: This guy getting on here bitching about it.
- 25:19SPEAKER_01: Like, why does Angel Reese have to steal the moment?
- 25:21SPEAKER_01: Nigga, this is the biggest game of the year to date, right?
- 25:26SPEAKER_01: These two's rivalry brings in the numbers.
- 25:28SPEAKER_01: I would be wearing head to toe Angel Reese uh paraphernalia, Angel, Angel Reese freaking signature uh, you know, uh hoodie, everything.
- 25:39SPEAKER_01: Sell something.
- 25:40SPEAKER_01: Drink it everything, everything I endorse.
- 25:42SPEAKER_01: A Gatorade in this hand, a McDonald's hamburger in this hand, walking through down the thing.
- 25:47SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 25:48SPEAKER_01: This motherfucker over here acting like she was trying to steal the moment.
- 25:51SPEAKER_01: And I was like, she ain't stealing the moment.
- 25:52SPEAKER_01: That's their moment.
- 25:53SPEAKER_01: They have to play these fucking games.
- 25:56SPEAKER_01: Stupid.
- 25:56SPEAKER_01: Like that and that's okay.
- 25:57SPEAKER_01: That's why I hate the internet pundits.
- 25:59SPEAKER_01: Like, let's just play this because it's like.
- 26:02SPEAKER_01: Oh, damn, oh damn.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: Kaylain Clark does.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: So magically that Dave Clark decides to debut her signature shoo! You decide to come to Indiana when you play her and debut one of yours does.
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: You are so fucking jealous of Kaylee Clark.
- 26:22SPEAKER_00: This is not a co-win that you know what this is.
- 26:25SPEAKER_00: This is not jealous, Kaylaine Clark.
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: That you're so much better than mine.
- 26:30SPEAKER_00: The world is going crazy.
- 26:32SPEAKER_00: That you finally previewed your signature shoes.
- 26:35SPEAKER_00: I hate that you're getting all the attention.
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: Because you're doing so much better at life than me.
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: Like the attention thinking crowd that I am and debut one of my shoes, bro.
- 26:50SPEAKER_00: This is so pathetic.
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: And y'all wonder why this bricklaying sloth gets hated on.
- 26:59SPEAKER_01: He called her a bricklaying sloth.
- 27:02SPEAKER_01: That's wild.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: This guy looks like a bricklaying sloth.
- 27:06SPEAKER_01: Yo, I I'm not even gonna play the rest because it's basically this key going on.
- 27:10SPEAKER_01: No, that's just hating.
- 27:11SPEAKER_01: Because you know, like, we're grown people here.
- 27:15SPEAKER_01: You understand, we all understand why marketing.
- 27:18SPEAKER_01: Angel Reese has been marketing herself very well for the since college.
- 27:21SPEAKER_01: She understands since they won.
- 27:23SPEAKER_01: Yo, the reason why she sasses this chick, and now she's winning.
- 27:26SPEAKER_01: She's beating this.
- 27:27SPEAKER_01: Is why everybody's mad right now.
- 27:29SPEAKER_01: Because Angel Reese is beating Caitlin Clark, like literally competitively.
- 27:36SPEAKER_02: I think I think people are more mad at like the remember the other lady who like pushed and punched Caitlin.
- 27:42SPEAKER_02: Like, the physicality of it is terrible.
- 27:45SPEAKER_02: Like, yeah, she I'm not saying she needs um special treatment, but she does.
- 27:52SPEAKER_02: I mean, like, come on, they all they gave it to MJ.
- 27:55SPEAKER_02: You know what?
- 27:56SPEAKER_02: Here we go.
- 27:57SPEAKER_02: Here we go.
- 27:58SPEAKER_04: Here we go.
- 27:59SPEAKER_04: Here we go.
- 27:59SPEAKER_04: So the Jordan, so the Jordan rules, okay.
- 28:02SPEAKER_04: So the Jordan rules were discussed.
- 28:04SPEAKER_04: No, no, no.
- 28:05SPEAKER_04: No, but there was they was meant to hurt him.
- 28:07SPEAKER_04: Yeah, the Jordan rules were discussed.
- 28:09SPEAKER_04: The Jordan rules were discussed.
- 28:10SPEAKER_04: The Jordan rules were discussed with the referees.
- 28:13SPEAKER_04: So the pistons got together and said, listen, we're about to punch him in the throat.
- 28:18SPEAKER_04: We're about to slap him in the face.
- 28:20SPEAKER_04: We gotta do all these things.
- 28:21SPEAKER_01: Did any of that really happen?
- 28:22SPEAKER_04: But what?
- 28:24SPEAKER_04: So the Jordan rules were established by a team.
- 28:26SPEAKER_04: You never heard of the headhunting.
- 28:28SPEAKER_04: Remember the one uh the football uh what was it called?
- 28:32SPEAKER_04: Bounty gate.
- 28:33SPEAKER_04: Bounty Gate.
- 28:34SPEAKER_04: That was real shit.
- 28:34SPEAKER_04: Pay him.
- 28:35SPEAKER_02: Oh, 100%.
- 28:36SPEAKER_02: They they pay players to hurt people.
- 28:39unknown: Yeah.
- 28:39SPEAKER_02: Like that's I mean, they've probably been doing that for the biggest.
- 28:42SPEAKER_04: That would be a Rico today.
- 28:43SPEAKER_04: That would be a Rico today.
- 28:44SPEAKER_04: We can admit that.
- 28:45SPEAKER_04: That would be a Rico.
- 28:46SPEAKER_01: A lot of the stuff that's happened with Caitlin Clark.
- 28:48SPEAKER_01: I think it's surely a lot of um jealousy from some of the other players.
- 28:55SPEAKER_01: But also the fact that, yo, look, you're not even that good, and you trying to be, you know, like Asia Wilson gets dumb respect across the league.
- 29:04SPEAKER_01: Kelsey Plum, stupid respect, right?
- 29:07SPEAKER_01: Caitlin Clark came in there on a pedestal.
- 29:09SPEAKER_01: So yeah, they're gonna remember what perfect example.
- 29:12SPEAKER_01: Remember when Lonzo Ball came to the league because his dad was talking about that shit?
- 29:15SPEAKER_01: My son's the greatest ever.
- 29:16SPEAKER_01: He's better than MJ.
- 29:17SPEAKER_01: He said he was better than MJ.
- 29:18SPEAKER_01: Nobody, LeBron didn't even say he was better than MJ.
- 29:21SPEAKER_01: His daddy or mommy, whatever, didn't say none of that stuff when he came into the league.
- 29:25SPEAKER_01: Nobody said nothing about somebody being better than whoever.
- 29:28SPEAKER_01: He went out there and proved himself, bust some ass, rookie year, one rookie of the year, did all that stuff and earned the respect.
- 29:34SPEAKER_01: She came in on a pedestal and talking shit, you know, every time she hit a three, she'd be shooting like 15%.
- 29:41SPEAKER_01: She hit one three, running down the court, flapping the wings and all that shit.
- 29:46SPEAKER_01: I'm like, come on, bro.
- 29:47SPEAKER_01: You know, I look at the numbers.
- 29:49SPEAKER_01: You know, like the numbers don't match up to the to the hype.
- 29:53SPEAKER_02: I I just think with Cece, we call her Cece, not kick.
- 29:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 30:00SPEAKER_02: I just I think she's so special.
- 30:02SPEAKER_02: I really do.
- 30:02SPEAKER_02: And I'm not saying she's the best player in the league.
- 30:04SPEAKER_02: I think she I don't think she's the best player in the league.
- 30:06SPEAKER_02: It's a magnetism she has.
- 30:08SPEAKER_04: Well, it's just a magnetism for the game, like to bring the fact that we're talking about her now.
- 30:13SPEAKER_04: The fact that we're talking about WNBA now.
- 30:15SPEAKER_04: WBA is becoming in the middle of the time of her.
- 30:18SPEAKER_04: We wouldn't be talking about WBA at all.
- 30:21SPEAKER_04: I can guarantee you, let's let's just say this, and I and I don't have a crystal ball, but I feel like I do in this moment.
- 30:27SPEAKER_04: Let's go 20 years in the past.
- 30:29SPEAKER_04: This day, 20 years in the past.
- 30:32SPEAKER_04: Do you think this day we would ever have talked about the WBA?
- 30:36SPEAKER_04: This day, a year from today, two years from today, three years from today, five, ten in the month, in the month prior.
- 30:46SPEAKER_04: She is literally so she's holding that league up last year.
- 30:49SPEAKER_02: That's the effect, yeah.
- 30:51SPEAKER_02: So we we love CC.
- 30:53SPEAKER_04: Um whatever the situation is, it's it's warranted.
- 30:57SPEAKER_04: It's warranted, and it brings into talking about you know, it brings into talking about all the players.
- 31:03SPEAKER_04: So it's not a it's it's it's a meter in which we know why we're talking about the MBA WNBA, but uh, she's a victim of her own devices, right?
- 31:14SPEAKER_04: I mean, she didn't pick, I mean, she made a bunch of 40 foot threes in college and took her team to the final four situation or whatever they lost, but the impact she had for women's college sports was uh and transitioned.
- 31:29SPEAKER_01: But that rivalry between her and Angel Reese is what got all the attention.
- 31:34SPEAKER_01: Sure.
- 31:34SPEAKER_01: So yeah, yeah.
- 31:35SPEAKER_01: If she didn't do what she did, they she'd just be another WNBA chick.
- 31:41SPEAKER_04: Well, it got all the attention because so so so we have to so there's situations where somebody could talk.
- 31:48SPEAKER_04: Well, well, no, I'm saying great.
- 31:50SPEAKER_04: That's what matters, right?
- 31:51SPEAKER_04: But that's what you guys keep saying.
- 31:53SPEAKER_04: But no, no, no.
- 31:54SPEAKER_01: MJ got six rings, but but Caitlin Clark got zero rings, bro.
- 31:57SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 31:57SPEAKER_01: She ain't win shit.
- 31:58SPEAKER_01: Why is she but CCA got shit, Daiu?
- 32:01SPEAKER_01: But here's but here's an example, but here's an example.
- 32:03SPEAKER_01: Angel got a ring, though.
- 32:04SPEAKER_04: So so MJ, MJ never won't be.
- 32:07SPEAKER_04: This nigga calling her a swallow.
- 32:08SPEAKER_04: No, no, but but I'm saying, so MJ winning rings or whatever, right?
- 32:14SPEAKER_04: He won rings, but he lost against other people that right would go on to win championships that he lost against.
- 32:21SPEAKER_04: However, the the the people that went there to go see and and and the the the people who were spectating the league and where it was going forward was because of MJ.
- 32:32SPEAKER_04: That's just a natural progression.
- 32:34SPEAKER_04: So Caitlin Clark, even losing, I mean, in general, if if Aja Reese played against someone else who she had the same energy for that was another player, it wouldn't be the same as as it was because Caitlin Clark was the other the antithesis to her, right?
- 32:51SPEAKER_04: You have to still it's literally like Bird and Magic.
- 32:54SPEAKER_04: They they they should have the same credit in a sense, but Magic, I feel like, has a little bit of a notch above Bird because of the way he took it.
- 33:05SPEAKER_04: He did it with it was more exciting, yeah.
- 33:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 33:08SPEAKER_01: Bird was a finesse player, like he was great to watch, in my opinion.
- 33:12SPEAKER_01: I just think that his white skin didn't do him any justice around all them colored folk.
- 33:17SPEAKER_01: I'm serious, because like this this guy just kind of like standing out there, and he didn't, he's from Indiana, you know, he's he's popping something like drinking Coors Light the halftime and shit.
- 33:28SPEAKER_01: Like, it wasn't relatable to the demographics that were watching the NBA at that point in time.
- 33:33SPEAKER_01: It wasn't at that point in time, it wasn't like uh back back in that day.
- 33:37SPEAKER_02: I mean, it was today the league was more white, it was a very blue-collar sport back then.
- 33:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 33:43SPEAKER_02: So Bird is my favorite all time.
- 33:46SPEAKER_02: Well, he's my second favorite, he's definitely my favorite old school player.
- 33:50SPEAKER_02: The guy I thought MJ was your guy.
- 33:52SPEAKER_04: No, MJ's the greatest, but yeah, yeah.
- 33:55SPEAKER_04: They're talking segments, there's sections to this, okay?
- 33:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there's only one great well, okay.
- 34:00SPEAKER_01: So it's your favorite player is Larry.
- 34:03SPEAKER_02: A lot of MJ is great to you, and I'll take Larry Bird over uh Kevin Durant.
- 34:11SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah, I would.
- 34:12SPEAKER_04: I would too.
- 34:12SPEAKER_04: I would too.
- 34:14SPEAKER_04: What the fuck?
- 34:14SPEAKER_04: I would too.
- 34:15SPEAKER_04: I would too.
- 34:16SPEAKER_04: I would 100%.
- 34:17SPEAKER_04: Yeah, like world is he better than Kevin Durant.
- 34:20SPEAKER_04: I said I would take him.
- 34:22SPEAKER_04: The gamer gamer ballers.
- 34:25SPEAKER_04: If I had a game seven to win, yeah, yeah.
- 34:28SPEAKER_04: My money's gonna go on Larry Bird.
- 34:30SPEAKER_04: If I had a seven game series, I'm taking him.
- 34:33SPEAKER_04: Overall, I'm taking him over.
- 34:36SPEAKER_04: That should actually be the that should actually be the metric.
- 34:38SPEAKER_04: Seven game series, not last shot, not one game, seven game series.
- 34:43SPEAKER_04: If my best player, I would take Bird overant.
- 34:57SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna go with I'm gonna go with Bird.
- 34:59SPEAKER_04: I'm sure.
- 35:00SPEAKER_01: What about seven games?
- 35:01SPEAKER_01: Do you take Brown or Bird?
- 35:04SPEAKER_01: Probably Brown.
- 35:06SPEAKER_01: But bro, oh wow, that's another movie.
- 35:08SPEAKER_02: No, no, no, no.
- 35:11SPEAKER_04: What bird is Bird is a top ten player.
- 35:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like he's top seven, ten, wherever you put him.
- 35:16SPEAKER_01: A few months ago, you'd probably say Caitlin Clark at a spite.
- 35:19SPEAKER_02: I'd take Caitlin over LeBron.
- 35:24SPEAKER_02: I I don't get how people even put KD in the same breath as LeBron.
- 35:28SPEAKER_02: I don't even think they're in the same.
- 35:30SPEAKER_04: I don't think so.
- 35:31SPEAKER_04: Not even close.
- 35:32SPEAKER_02: KD's a bad dude, he's bad as shit, right?
- 35:34SPEAKER_02: But look, no, he just no, he doesn't.
- 35:37SPEAKER_01: But there have been players who are highly skilled, like you know, like the Allen Iversons, and I always say Bernard King, like incredible score.
- 35:45SPEAKER_01: I I always compare Bernard King to MJ, because if MJ, no, I'm serious.
- 35:48SPEAKER_01: If MJ did not have the success with Scottie Pippen and Phil Jackson that he had, okay, he would have been another Bernard King.
- 35:57SPEAKER_02: I don't know about that, but look at the numbers.
- 36:00SPEAKER_02: I mean, come on now, man.
- 36:01SPEAKER_02: Look at the numbers.
- 36:03SPEAKER_02: I mean, Bernard King's a bad man.
- 36:05SPEAKER_04: So, Hugh, Hugh, when you say look at the numbers, how many uh first team all defensive did Bernard King?
- 36:13SPEAKER_04: Yeah, like he wouldn't even play the year.
- 36:15SPEAKER_04: Like, I don't like look at the numbers.
- 36:19SPEAKER_04: Like, the numbers that we're gonna stack up are offensive and then we're gonna go to defensive.
- 36:23SPEAKER_02: But it's not gonna be like what?
- 36:24SPEAKER_02: You know what it's actually unfair to Bernard King even put him in this shit.
- 36:28SPEAKER_02: Like, you know what I mean?
- 36:29SPEAKER_04: Like, I'm a bad dude on my own.
- 36:31SPEAKER_04: Yeah, sorry, Bernard King.
- 36:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we love saying that he's a good scorer.
- 36:36SPEAKER_01: These guys are good scorers, and that's what you're saying.
- 36:38SPEAKER_02: Scorer, yeah.
- 36:39SPEAKER_02: But I would and and don't put Allen Iverson in just a score.
- 36:43SPEAKER_02: He was a meter, he was a scrappy, and he had like three stills.
- 36:48SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 36:49SPEAKER_02: He good defensive Bernard King, man.
- 36:54SPEAKER_02: Michael Jordan's in another world than everyone.
- 36:56SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 36:57SPEAKER_04: I mean it's it's it's actually whack that we even compare him with.
- 37:01SPEAKER_04: You know what?
- 37:02SPEAKER_04: We might have to do Mount Rushmore and then Mount Everest, and then just basically do Mount Everest and have There's nothing on Mount Everest.
- 37:08SPEAKER_01: You know, you know what?
- 37:09SPEAKER_04: Who who said it uh levels to an elevator?
- 37:12SPEAKER_04: Was that uh it was like that meat?
- 37:14SPEAKER_04: No, uh Rich Rich Rich Paul said that.
- 37:16SPEAKER_04: He's like, there's levels to an elevator, and he said Michael Jordan is on that top elevator when you get off.
- 37:23SPEAKER_04: But he said LeBron could get off at that same elevator, like le elevator uh level, and I think that's Rich Paul.
- 37:30SPEAKER_04: Rich Paul in a different few different times.
- 37:32SPEAKER_04: I mean, I know LeBron probably smacked him up and was like, yo, you you out here talking crazy.
- 37:38SPEAKER_04: Rich Paul really, yeah.
- 37:39SPEAKER_04: Rich Paul really has said uh Jordan so many times, but he has to that's my boy, right?
- 37:45SPEAKER_04: Like my bad, bro.
- 37:48SPEAKER_02: Honestly, I would think even LeBron would say it in a moment of honesty.
- 37:51SPEAKER_02: Like, yeah, yeah.
- 37:53SPEAKER_02: He wouldn't be like, yo, I'm chasing something that's like unchasable.
- 37:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I can't.
- 37:57SPEAKER_04: But I'm he would be like, I'm just glad I'm mentioning in the same present same, yeah.
- 38:02SPEAKER_04: Like, like if I'm talking LeBron, Jordan, like I'm just glad I'm, you know, somebody's mentioning me at the same time.
- 38:10SPEAKER_04: That's and that's actually a really great thing.
- 38:12SPEAKER_04: And LeBron fans take that as a slight.
- 38:14SPEAKER_02: It's actually because they're they're not they're not fans there.
- 38:17SPEAKER_02: Never mind.
- 38:18unknown: Okay.
- 38:20SPEAKER_02: It's a family show, right?
- 38:21SPEAKER_02: This is going on.
- 38:22SPEAKER_01: Say whatever you want here, man.
- 38:24SPEAKER_02: Nope, nope.
- 38:25SPEAKER_01: Just make sure you take Jordan's dick out of your mouth before you say it.
- 38:28SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 38:29SPEAKER_01: Anyway, moving on.
- 38:30SPEAKER_02: Are you guys uh July 4th?
- 38:32SPEAKER_02: Do you guys head in um down to the mall to go to the um hell no?
- 38:35SPEAKER_02: I'm going to the speech, yeah.
- 38:37SPEAKER_01: You hear about that dude that was jerking off in the middle of the thing and live streaming it?
- 38:41SPEAKER_01: What?
- 38:43SPEAKER_01: We talked about it last night in the other pod.
- 38:45SPEAKER_01: I purposely skipped that one.
- 38:47SPEAKER_02: No, can we talk about it?
- 38:49SPEAKER_02: Wait a minute.
- 38:49SPEAKER_02: This is this is down at the um that uh what they got going on?
- 38:52SPEAKER_02: It's like the state.
- 38:53SPEAKER_02: Oh, nobody's there.
- 38:55SPEAKER_04: Everybody's pulled out.
- 38:56SPEAKER_04: Yeah, there's like literally, it's like zero people.
- 38:59SPEAKER_02: They'd be live streaming, it'd be like 35 people there.
- 39:02SPEAKER_01: Wait, let me show you this.
- 39:02SPEAKER_01: I'll show you this.
- 39:03SPEAKER_01: Hold on, hold on.
- 39:04SPEAKER_01: They did the uh no, we don't want to see him jerking off, yo.
- 39:06SPEAKER_01: No, no, they nobody no, they just did a story about it on um P6.
- 39:12SPEAKER_01: Look at this.
- 39:12SPEAKER_01: This is crazy.
- 39:13SPEAKER_01: You didn't hear about this?
- 39:15SPEAKER_01: No.
- 39:15SPEAKER_01: Wow, that's that's not on my algorithm.
- 39:19SPEAKER_01: Shout out to casual politics.
- 39:20SPEAKER_05: I don't get those for better or worse.
- 39:24SPEAKER_05: Headline in the Daily Mail MAGA fan accused of masturbating at Donald Trump's great American state fair.
- 39:30SPEAKER_05: This is a setback.
- 39:33SPEAKER_05: That is a setback, isn't it?
- 39:34SPEAKER_06: Um yeah, and this is not just any MAGA fan.
- 39:38SPEAKER_06: He apparently is an influencer.
- 39:40SPEAKER_06: He was live streaming uh around the time of this incident.
- 39:45SPEAKER_06: There were several women reportedly, uh, some of them were performing, and they were like dancers and they were performing.
- 39:52SPEAKER_06: And they saw him apparently pleasuring himself and told the cops, and the cops got involved.
- 39:58SPEAKER_06: And then he started this whole like free manny campaign, and his followers were like, Oh, he was wrongly accused.
- 40:04SPEAKER_06: He's a victim, he's being persecuted for his political views.
- 40:07SPEAKER_06: I'm like, this is trust DC.
- 40:09SPEAKER_06: What are we talking about here?
- 40:10SPEAKER_06: But anyways, for America.
- 40:15SPEAKER_05: He lost for America.
- 40:17SPEAKER_05: Unlike you, Crystal of Communists.
- 40:20SPEAKER_05: Unlike me, definitely unlike me.
- 40:23SPEAKER_05: B7.
- 40:24SPEAKER_05: Let's roll.
- 40:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm a communist standard.
- 40:27SPEAKER_01: This dude over there beating.
- 40:29SPEAKER_01: This is what we've come to, guys.
- 40:31SPEAKER_04: Well, you know what?
- 40:32SPEAKER_04: It's not what we've come to, it's what we've come from.
- 40:35SPEAKER_04: Do you think that like literally masturbating put all this kind of shit?
- 40:38SPEAKER_04: Like, it is.
- 40:39SPEAKER_01: No, not no no no no no no no no.
- 40:42SPEAKER_01: Like, oh, we literally.
- 40:46SPEAKER_01: We've never seen no shit.
- 40:47SPEAKER_01: Did this happen under Obama?
- 40:49SPEAKER_01: Did this happen under Nixon?
- 40:50SPEAKER_01: Did this happen any under George Washington?
- 40:54SPEAKER_04: It happened over.
- 40:55SPEAKER_04: You know what the funny thing is?
- 40:56SPEAKER_04: Were they beaten off in the middle of the year?
- 40:58SPEAKER_04: No, no, no.
- 40:59SPEAKER_04: No, no, no.
- 41:00SPEAKER_04: You want to win memorial?
- 41:02SPEAKER_04: I can guarantee every president, every I can guarantee every presidency has had this exact same thing happen.
- 41:08SPEAKER_04: Where?
- 41:10SPEAKER_04: Somewhere in DC, open masturbation, like fucking.
- 41:13SPEAKER_01: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 41:14SPEAKER_04: What?
- 41:14SPEAKER_04: Oh, and the mall or whatever.
- 41:16SPEAKER_04: Oh, you know how many homeless people are around there and shit?
- 41:18SPEAKER_04: Like, I can guarantee.
- 41:18SPEAKER_04: Maybe not caught, but I I can guarantee it's happened.
- 41:21SPEAKER_04: There's a bit of there's a bit of like streaming it.
- 41:27SPEAKER_02: Who you saying this event happened because he's MAGA or because he's a MAGA?
- 41:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's what I'm wondering.
- 41:34SPEAKER_02: Like, he just could be a crazy nutcase.
- 41:36SPEAKER_02: I saw his outfit.
- 41:37SPEAKER_04: Why would him being MAGA have anything to do with him masculine?
- 41:40SPEAKER_04: Because it takes a certain type of personality to be that.
- 41:43SPEAKER_02: No, see, I just think that's a nutcase.
- 41:44SPEAKER_04: Yeah, the people.
- 41:47SPEAKER_04: That murderer A murderer is exclusive to being a murderer.
- 41:51SPEAKER_04: It's okay.
- 41:52SPEAKER_04: If you're gonna murder someone, it's exclusive to you murdering someone.
- 41:56SPEAKER_04: It's not because you can be look, you can be influenced by things of how you think, but if you're gonna murder someone, that's how you think ultimately.
- 42:03SPEAKER_04: You're gonna just murder someone under any circumstances.
- 42:05SPEAKER_01: So, how many people go out to public events and do something like that wearing the whole get up MAGA, American hat, all the shit.
- 42:17SPEAKER_01: And number two, you can see that most of the normies or sane and rational people have left the movement, as you can see from the turnout for this and the turnout at his rallies.
- 42:27SPEAKER_01: I heard his rallies aren't even packed anymore.
- 42:30SPEAKER_01: Like people and people leaving early.
- 42:32SPEAKER_01: I saw these things they were doing interviews outside the shit.
- 42:34SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 42:34SPEAKER_01: They were leaving in the middle of it fucking talking.
- 42:36SPEAKER_01: Nobody wants to hear this motherfucker talk for five hours.
- 42:39SPEAKER_02: I heard I heard um July 4th he's gonna do like a like a like a marathon speech or some shit.
- 42:44SPEAKER_01: Good for him.
- 42:45SPEAKER_01: I'll be fucking in my pool.
- 42:46SPEAKER_04: You know what?
- 42:47SPEAKER_04: You know what's an interesting thing I have uh that I've thought about given where we are in society.
- 42:53SPEAKER_04: And I don't know if we will see it.
- 42:55SPEAKER_04: No, I don't know if we will see it again.
- 42:58SPEAKER_04: What's that?
- 42:58SPEAKER_04: Do you guys think we'll see another two-term president in our lifetime?
- 43:02SPEAKER_04: Oh, good for the couple.
- 43:02SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's gonna be like the NBA Finals since LeBron won his last time.
- 43:05SPEAKER_01: No, no.
- 43:06SPEAKER_04: Um, I don't think we will.
- 43:07SPEAKER_04: I don't think I don't think we will.
- 43:08SPEAKER_04: I don't think we'll be good enough competition.
- 43:10SPEAKER_04: I don't think for the next 50 years we'll see another two-time president.
- 43:14SPEAKER_01: Um yeah, because Trump might just not let anybody else be pressing.
- 43:18SPEAKER_01: No, no, just in general, just in general.
- 43:20SPEAKER_04: Just in general, just in general.
- 43:21SPEAKER_01: It's it's it's it's that's a great question.
- 43:24SPEAKER_04: That's a really great question.
- 43:25SPEAKER_01: Right now, with the progressive movement being the way that it is, I think that there's gonna be a candidate that's gonna come out the woodworks that's gonna just move the people.
- 43:34SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be a Bernie Sanders.
- 43:36SPEAKER_04: But it's so flighting, it's so fleeting now.
- 43:37SPEAKER_04: I mean, it's you have for like two weeks.
- 43:42SPEAKER_01: You saw that girl in Denver that just won?
- 43:44SPEAKER_01: She's super she's like she's 30 years old.
- 43:47SPEAKER_04: You see how quickly that change, right?
- 43:49SPEAKER_04: So that's a perfect example.
- 43:50SPEAKER_04: Like, no, I'm saying like the the the the shift it is isn't it?
- 43:54SPEAKER_01: Oh, well, people are starting to see the light.
- 43:56SPEAKER_04: And and and well, the light like
- 44:00SPEAKER_01: All these politicians are the same.
- 44:02SPEAKER_01: And we've mentioned that before.
- 44:04SPEAKER_01: The disagreement is like it's no more lesser of two evils.
- 44:07SPEAKER_01: Now it's more like, hey, we don't want evil anymore.
- 44:10SPEAKER_01: We want somebody who actually stands for some shit.
- 44:12SPEAKER_01: And Zoran Mcdonnie is a perfect example of that.
- 44:15SPEAKER_01: Look what he's doing with New York.
- 44:16SPEAKER_01: Zoran, come on, nigga.
- 44:17SPEAKER_01: Come on.
- 44:18SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 44:18SPEAKER_01: Remember that?
- 44:19SPEAKER_02: I always tell this story.
- 44:20SPEAKER_02: I always tell this story.
- 44:21SPEAKER_02: Me and Marvel at the Woo Show in Matthew Garden, and we chillin' and the fucking crowd goes crazy.
- 44:27SPEAKER_02: We're like, yo, who coming?
- 44:29SPEAKER_02: Yo, we like, yo, who coming?
- 44:30SPEAKER_02: Who coming out?
- 44:32SPEAKER_02: Introducing New York's new mirror.
- 44:35SPEAKER_02: And the yo, I'm telling you, the crowd went literally like crazy.
- 44:41SPEAKER_01: He's so charismatic.
- 44:42SPEAKER_01: I don't a lot of his stuff I don't particularly care for policy-wise, but it helps people.
- 44:48SPEAKER_01: And I'm not no billionaire, so I don't give a fuck about paying no wealth tax or property tax for some condo I'm not living in.
- 44:55SPEAKER_01: Do you think he could win presidency?
- 44:57SPEAKER_01: He can't because he's a foreigner.
- 44:58SPEAKER_01: But he's not born in America?
- 45:01SPEAKER_01: Nah, he's born in Uganda or some shit.
- 45:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he's natural born.
- 45:04SPEAKER_01: Natural born.
- 45:05SPEAKER_00: Oh shit.
- 45:06SPEAKER_01: I didn't know that.
- 45:07SPEAKER_01: His kids can be president, maybe his wife too.
- 45:09SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 45:09SPEAKER_01: But um, nah, I I wouldn't I I could see a figure like him, because he just has the slick politician talk, but he's sincere about his vision for the world.
- 45:19SPEAKER_01: This is what Obama could have been and wasn't.
- 45:22SPEAKER_01: Uh he's actually following through with a lot of the shit.
- 45:24SPEAKER_01: Now he could be a corporate plant or some shit, and then every one day he's just gonna flip around and do some crazy shit, but the the people he's vouching for are winning.
- 45:32SPEAKER_04: Well, well, you know, you know what's so interesting, right?
- 45:34SPEAKER_04: It's like all the like right now, you know, Madami, whatever, right?
- 45:39SPEAKER_04: There's through the entire history of politics, there's always been a movement, quote unquote.
- 45:46SPEAKER_04: Most of which don't exist today.
- 45:49SPEAKER_04: So we always have to be conscious of the fact that there's always going to be a movement.
- 45:53SPEAKER_04: There's always going to be that.
- 45:55SPEAKER_04: But the ones that stand the test of time, we've only had two so far: Republican Party and the Democratic Party.
- 46:01SPEAKER_04: And the Republican Party came from the civil it came from the shivil war movement, basically.
- 46:08SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 46:08SPEAKER_04: So there was, you know, we just had the Democratic Party, but every social, you know, enlightenment that we've had has generated by the so I when I ask if we are gonna have another two-term president, uh it would have to be outs based on what you're saying, it would have to be outside of the Democratic or Republican Party.
- 46:32SPEAKER_04: Because I think based on the cer on the current structure, no matter what you stand for or what you say, you can't you're not gonna be able to really have there's always gonna be a tug and pull in the middle.
- 46:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they'd have to break through that system, though, because look what they did to Bernie the last two election cycles.
- 46:49SPEAKER_01: The Democrats could do that through a Zoran type.
- 46:51SPEAKER_01: He did.
- 46:52SPEAKER_01: Did you think Bernie had a legitimate chance to win?
- 46:55SPEAKER_01: Dude, he's nationally he was polling higher than both Trump, Biden, anybody.
- 46:59SPEAKER_01: You saw what they did in South Carolina.
- 47:01SPEAKER_01: I'll hate that Kleiber nigga for the rest of my fucking life because of that.
- 47:04SPEAKER_01: Uh he ruined our country.
- 47:06SPEAKER_01: When he when he said, all right, they they they they made it so they consolidated all the candidates.
- 47:11SPEAKER_02: Right, right.
- 47:12SPEAKER_01: He would have won that that primary and it would have changed the whole shift, it would have shifted everything.
- 47:16SPEAKER_01: That that that field narrowed down from a bunch of what was it, like at least six or seven viable candidates.
- 47:24SPEAKER_01: Even though Kamala was getting like one percent at that time, Pete Budachic, you who else was running?
- 47:31SPEAKER_01: There was a bunch of people that were there polling pretty high.
- 47:33SPEAKER_02: And Biden was like, not in the Democrat?
- 47:37SPEAKER_01: She was running Democrat?
- 47:38SPEAKER_01: I don't know either.
- 47:39SPEAKER_01: But um, they had they I mean she was running a Republican, probably, but Trump when they gave it to Trump.
- 47:45SPEAKER_01: But um no, that that that shifted the whole environment.
- 47:48SPEAKER_01: Then what they did in New York when Hillary was running, they closed down polling stations.
- 47:52SPEAKER_01: He was he was poised to win a big state there and and possibly shift the tides.
- 47:56SPEAKER_01: But they can't rig it now.
- 47:57SPEAKER_01: It's just it's there's too many people who are like we're fed up with this shit, and the votes matter now.
- 48:02SPEAKER_01: And when you see people who are left, way left of center winning, motherfuckers who believe in universal basic income, taxing everything, that's crazy.
- 48:14SPEAKER_01: And they're winning, and I like them all because they're charismatic, young, and smart and shit.
- 48:18SPEAKER_01: I could bitch all day about lower taxes, but I don't even know.
- 48:21SPEAKER_04: You know, well, well, it's funny, it's funny because it's like uh I remember when Arnold Schwarzenegger won the governor see, and I remember when uh what is it, Ted DBS, not Ted DBS Jesse Ventura.
- 48:33SPEAKER_04: Jesse Ventura, Sonny Bono in California.
- 48:36SPEAKER_04: So there's yeah, there's Minnesota.
- 48:40SPEAKER_04: So there's always there's always look, I I I agree with what you're saying, but the we've lived long enough to know there's gonna be three or four of these every 20 years or whatever, right?
- 48:53SPEAKER_02: So like we would you say Trump's one of these though?
- 48:56SPEAKER_02: Would you say Trump is one of those in the He's the worst celebrity politician ever?
- 49:00SPEAKER_04: Well, I think Trump is stamped based on the fact that he got president.
- 49:04SPEAKER_04: I mean, I guess Reagan was an actor or whatever.
- 49:07SPEAKER_04: Sure.
- 49:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but he worked his way up the ranks.
- 49:09SPEAKER_01: He was governor too.
- 49:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like he was Trump was all marketing, bro.
- 49:12SPEAKER_01: Like he has no clue.
- 49:13SPEAKER_01: I mean, I hope you could say now he has no clue what he's doing.
- 49:17SPEAKER_01: I hope we could agree with that at this point in time.
- 49:20SPEAKER_01: I mean, I'm not gonna ask you guys for an opinion.
- 49:22SPEAKER_01: I don't know where you stand politically.
- 49:23SPEAKER_02: I don't know where I you know, growing up, like we said, we know we all grew up in the DMV area, so like our local news.
- 49:30SPEAKER_02: Well, our local news was like our local news was DC News.
- 49:35SPEAKER_02: Like that was, you know, this we didn't have we didn't even need C D and we had Fox Five, right?
- 49:39SPEAKER_02: They they had the scoop.
- 49:40SPEAKER_02: So we grew up in it.
- 49:41SPEAKER_02: I'm just so over it.
- 49:43SPEAKER_02: Uh it does nothing for me.
- 49:44SPEAKER_02: It does nothing for my my chi, my psyche, my it just doesn't, I don't like whatever.
- 49:50SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
- 49:51SPEAKER_04: That's uh that uh you have to do what best you can do to affect, like I always say, your your own neighborhood, your own sphere, the best you can to you know create a ripple effect because that's all you can do.
- 50:07SPEAKER_04: It's a it's a it's a it's a it's a stone in a pond, right?
- 50:10SPEAKER_04: Like at the end of the day, and it just keeps going out, and it's like you know, I don't know, but we know MJ is the best ever.
- 50:19SPEAKER_04: So that I mean as long as we can rest on that laurel, then everything like that's our that's our compass, and then everything is fine after that, right?
- 50:26SPEAKER_04: Right, Hugh?
- 50:29SPEAKER_01: Right, right?
- 50:30SPEAKER_01: When I heard MJ, I just thought I just tuned you out.
- 50:33SPEAKER_02: Well, okay, but okay, how about this?
- 50:35SPEAKER_02: Okay, how about this?

- 50:46SPEAKER_02: I like that.
- 50:47SPEAKER_02: MJ is all-time great.
- 50:48SPEAKER_04: It was a good movie, right?
- 50:50SPEAKER_04: He's the only one, he's the only one that can go up against Kanye in a versus MJ and Kanye.
- 50:55SPEAKER_04: That's it.
- 50:57SPEAKER_04: Kanye, Kanye would smash everybody.
- 50:59SPEAKER_04: Drake.
- 51:00SPEAKER_01: Wait a minute.

- 51:21SPEAKER_04: And then we'll do that.
- 51:22SPEAKER_04: R.
- 51:22SPEAKER_04: Kelly will win that.

- 55:25SPEAKER_01: So I got one for you.
- 55:27SPEAKER_01: Kendrick just won another BET award.
- 55:29SPEAKER_01: So I heard it's nine in a row he's won for rapper of the year.
- 55:33SPEAKER_01: And I mean I get all the music.
- 55:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, okay.
- 55:36SPEAKER_01: So BET doesn't matter, but still it's an award.
- 55:39SPEAKER_01: I thought, okay, look, I know rap is very diverse now, but last I remembered, there was a lot more than just one black rapper, male rapper, right?
- 55:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 55:52SPEAKER_01: Alright, so too many if you ask me.
- 55:55SPEAKER_01: Drake has put out a bunch of albums in a long time.
- 55:58SPEAKER_01: A lot of people have put out albums that were classics per se.
- 56:02SPEAKER_01: Like you the Tyler the Creator.
- 56:03SPEAKER_01: Let's put him up there.
- 56:04SPEAKER_01: I mean, so he's won nine in a row.
- 56:06SPEAKER_01: So that means since 2017, Dave's been the guy in the BT Awards.
- 56:12SPEAKER_01: And he puts an album out every five years.
- 56:14SPEAKER_04: What did Kaye say?
- 56:15SPEAKER_04: I'm not getting the DIE award because they always gave it a screen so much.
- 56:20SPEAKER_01: But he hasn't even did it with Nikki too.
- 56:22SPEAKER_01: But the problem here is with Kendrick, he hasn't put out an album in a year and a half.
- 56:26SPEAKER_02: That's about to say he's only put out probably three albums in that nine years.
- 56:30SPEAKER_01: Three or four.
- 56:31SPEAKER_01: Let's give him four.
- 56:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he's eaten off that album, boy.

- 56:51SPEAKER_04: Uh certified sold like seven.
- 56:54SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that was his top selling record was certified.
- 56:57SPEAKER_04: I think Views is close to the club.
- 56:58SPEAKER_01: Who won?
- 56:58SPEAKER_01: Who won the female artist of the year?
- 57:00SPEAKER_01: Doce probably.
- 57:02SPEAKER_01: See, that's the thing.
- 57:03SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm honestly, like they all industry plans, so like Kendrick.
- 57:08SPEAKER_01: The reason why I never like Kendrick, and I don't know if you guys like Kendrick.
- 57:12SPEAKER_02: I mean, I'm not really, I'm not really big.
- 57:14SPEAKER_02: How can I hate something I don't like?
- 57:16SPEAKER_02: Because you're a hater.
- 57:17SPEAKER_02: No, I mean Kendrick, can I hate something?
- 57:19SPEAKER_04: I respect he's he's like spoken word for me as a rapper.
- 57:22SPEAKER_04: That's fine.
- 57:23SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he's he's incredibly talented.
- 57:25SPEAKER_02: I'm not gonna say his props.
- 57:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he can spit.
- 57:28SPEAKER_02: Like, that's obvious.

- 57:30SPEAKER_01: He can rap.
- 57:30SPEAKER_01: I hate his voice, but he but really he's not he's not that clever.

- 59:54SPEAKER_01: We good.
- 59:55SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 59:55SPEAKER_02: I'm good.

- 1:00:03SPEAKER_04: It's kind of like a beastie boy meets like uh tribe kind of thing.
- 1:00:08SPEAKER_04: They got like a little little thing going.
- 1:00:13SPEAKER_02: Well, I mean, Kendrick is I mean, he just got bars, but like you said, he's I just don't I I'm not gonna wake up and be like, yeah, I'm banging Kendrick too.

- 1:00:25SPEAKER_04: He's a poor man's Nas.
- 1:00:26SPEAKER_01: He's a poor man's Nas.
- 1:00:28SPEAKER_04: Yeah, like because he can spit and Kendrick and poor in the same setting.
- 1:00:33SPEAKER_04: No, no, no, he's a poor man's Nas.
- 1:00:35SPEAKER_04: Like he can spit and he has introspective, but Nas is a better like deliverer, he delivers it, yeah, voice, better, you know, on all the levels, but the the talent, the talent Kendrick has is on the level.
- 1:00:49SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_04: He's I don't know.
- 1:00:51SPEAKER_04: He's on a talent level like that, right?
- 1:00:53SPEAKER_04: It's like it's like a kid that could really dribble real good, but he really can't shoot, right?
- 1:00:58SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, it's just so weird how the industry just loves him, white people love him, and he just said he got a pull it's surprise or something.
- 1:01:06SPEAKER_04: Who does that?
- 1:01:07SPEAKER_02: Like, who can't that's not hip-hop?
- 1:01:08SPEAKER_02: I remember when he was coming to the Kennedy Center, we tried to get tickets.
- 1:01:12SPEAKER_02: That shit sold out in like eight seconds, and I'm like, you know who brought all these tickets.
- 1:01:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like it was like the yuppie central, yeah.

- 1:02:00SPEAKER_02: When they did when they did New York State of Mind with the chords, oh yeah.
- 1:02:04SPEAKER_01: I remember we said we saw um most deaf or Yassin Bey, his last show ever, which was a lie.
- 1:02:10SPEAKER_01: This nigga walked out.
- 1:02:11SPEAKER_01: Oh, I saw that too.

- 1:02:41SPEAKER_02: Pop up, you know, it just pop up and go.
- 1:02:43SPEAKER_04: I want to give a shout out, though.
- 1:02:44SPEAKER_04: I want to give a shout out to Danny Glover.
- 1:02:47SPEAKER_04: He got the cybers.
- 1:02:48SPEAKER_04: Yeah, oh that's awesome.
- 1:02:50SPEAKER_04: Did you see?
- 1:02:51SPEAKER_04: Uh I was like, uh they had an interview with him.
- 1:02:53SPEAKER_04: Oh, I was like, and then the last Chris Johnson.
- 1:02:56SPEAKER_02: Oh, and CLC yo, did you see like one year ago he was at like football camp, like running, moving, and jumping?
- 1:03:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and one year he can't even talk now.
- 1:03:06SPEAKER_03: Like, you gotta use a machine, yeah, yeah.
- 1:03:08SPEAKER_02: Now let me ask you this.
- 1:03:09SPEAKER_02: Do you think because like a lot of football players get it?
- 1:03:14SPEAKER_02: Do you think it's it's like attached to football?
- 1:03:18SPEAKER_04: Like it's I don't know.
- 1:03:19SPEAKER_04: They there's no they said 90% of the people that get it isn't it's not hereditary, so there has to be some other link.
- 1:03:25SPEAKER_02: Gotta be CTE, right?
- 1:03:26SPEAKER_02: Like, because it's dealing with the brain, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:03:29SPEAKER_02: That shit, yo, he's only yo, he couldn't even talk like 30 something early.
- 1:03:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah, 36, 30 is life, man.

- 1:03:41SPEAKER_02: They give they give it up, they give their bodies up literally for the oh, yeah, yeah.
- 1:03:44SPEAKER_04: Well, that's what I like how um who was uh the kick uh old uh Cleveland Cavaliers do he was saying he why why teams don't take care of their players, like if they you know it's like when I was saying Dame Dash should not live under a certain level because he did so much for a lot of hip hop of the coach.
- 1:04:00SPEAKER_04: There should be some kind of choices.
- 1:04:03SPEAKER_01: People make bad choices.
- 1:04:04SPEAKER_01: You choose to do drugs, you choose to talk crazy about your peers and your friends.
- 1:04:09SPEAKER_01: But it's like veterans, like veterans should be taken care of, right?
- 1:04:13SPEAKER_04: Well, they wasn't Diddy and uh and and and and Suge and all of them was supposed to be putting a coalition or where they would all ended all that.
- 1:04:21SPEAKER_04: They had a they had a union for they was gonna have a union for rappers, and rappers get medical benefits and all that.
- 1:04:27SPEAKER_04: But that shit would have worked.
- 1:04:29SPEAKER_04: That shit would work.
- 1:04:29SPEAKER_01: Heard Hove messed that whole thing up.
- 1:04:31SPEAKER_01: Well with title.
- 1:04:34SPEAKER_04: Oh, he invited everybody saying they was gonna have ownership.
- 1:04:37SPEAKER_04: He did the same trick back versus did.
- 1:04:39SPEAKER_04: Versus said, Oh, y'all gonna own a piece.
- 1:04:42SPEAKER_04: Oh, with title.
- 1:04:43SPEAKER_01: He did the same with title, yeah.
- 1:04:44SPEAKER_04: But that's with the same thing.
- 1:04:46SPEAKER_04: Oh, y'all, whoever compete, all the artists who actually do the performance, they all own a piece.
- 1:04:51SPEAKER_04: They don't they don't own no piece.
- 1:04:53SPEAKER_04: They got stock, they got stock of the that dilution.
- 1:04:57SPEAKER_04: And he sold that shit to uh Jack got D shares, yeah.
- 1:05:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well, I mean, that's business for you.
- 1:05:03SPEAKER_01: I mean, title was the same thing.
- 1:05:05SPEAKER_01: Jay, he double tripled up on that little investment.
- 1:05:08SPEAKER_01: Barclay Center.
- 1:05:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, his little one percent.
- 1:05:11SPEAKER_01: That's what made him a billionaire.
- 1:05:14SPEAKER_01: That little one percent helped him become a billionaire.
- 1:05:16SPEAKER_02: It wasn't one percent here.
- 1:05:18SPEAKER_02: It was 0.001.
- 1:05:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:05:20SPEAKER_01: Well, whatever it was, but he still that yo.
- 1:05:23SPEAKER_04: Well, I think he made like 20 million off of that.
- 1:05:25SPEAKER_04: I mean, he made like uh 10, 20 million.
- 1:05:28SPEAKER_01: It wasn't but it was a big bag, though, I think.
- 1:05:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well, before that, it was he was pitching armored up with uh Rockerware, yeah.
- 1:05:36SPEAKER_02: Or his but his third bag.
- 1:05:37SPEAKER_02: Rockerware is sold for 40 million, right?
- 1:05:39SPEAKER_02: It's gonna be hair extensions, right?
- 1:05:40SPEAKER_02: Oh no, 100 million.
- 1:05:43SPEAKER_02: His his next bag is gonna be about hair extensions, right?
- 1:05:46SPEAKER_01: Oh no, wait, no, no, no.
- 1:05:50SPEAKER_01: Well, it sold for a lot more.
- 1:05:51SPEAKER_04: I I think iconists for yeah, they still uh iconous was the umbrella.
- 1:05:57SPEAKER_04: I remember that uh because I read it in the Wall Street Journal.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_04: I think it was was it 140 million or 40 million?
- 1:06:03SPEAKER_02: So we're gonna just gloss over the fact that this man had it sold for 204 billion million dollars.
- 1:06:10SPEAKER_04: 204 iconics project.
- 1:06:12SPEAKER_04: Icon iconics, yeah.
- 1:06:14SPEAKER_04: They were big for uh they were big for uh umbrellas, iconics.
- 1:06:17SPEAKER_02: They they did they did a lot of north days, they got they own a lot of that, yeah.
- 1:06:22SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:06:23SPEAKER_02: So wait, wait, we're he, we're gonna um just gloss over the fact that one of your favorite rappers had hair extensions and then did a fake, did a fake PR video combing them out.
- 1:06:35SPEAKER_02: That's okay.
- 1:06:36SPEAKER_02: That's hip hop to you, that's raw shit.
- 1:06:38SPEAKER_02: Jay?
- 1:06:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:06:41SPEAKER_01: That was his hair.

- 1:06:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah, oh you know, because you got eyes.
- 1:06:55SPEAKER_02: Damn it.

- 1:07:30SPEAKER_01: I thought it was funny.
- 1:07:32SPEAKER_01: Oh, it is kind of funny because Hove got a weird face, got a funny looking face.
- 1:07:37SPEAKER_01: But um, it's great.
- 1:07:38SPEAKER_01: I think it's good marketing.
- 1:07:39SPEAKER_01: Anything where they're talking about, it's like that target thing, that him putting the shit in Target.
- 1:07:44SPEAKER_01: People should be mad because he's selling a milk crate with all his albums in it for twelve hundred dollars.
- 1:07:49SPEAKER_01: They should be mad about that, not that shit the fucking shit's at Target.
- 1:07:53SPEAKER_01: Plus, I didn't like that.
- 1:07:54SPEAKER_01: I didn't like that merch cover.
- 1:07:55SPEAKER_01: Dog, that merch is highway robbery.
- 1:07:58SPEAKER_01: All of it.
- 1:07:58SPEAKER_01: All the Mitchell and that shit.
- 1:07:59SPEAKER_01: It was that expensive, yo.
- 1:08:00SPEAKER_01: Like$60.
- 1:08:01SPEAKER_01: $40 pins.
- 1:08:02SPEAKER_01: They're set, they're charging$40 for a set of$50.
- 1:08:05SPEAKER_01: I don't even know.

- 1:08:08SPEAKER_01: I was like, I don't know if I really am that married to it's not even my favorite album.
- 1:08:13SPEAKER_01: You need a big three pin?
- 1:08:16SPEAKER_01: What the fuck do I need that for?
- 1:08:18SPEAKER_01: It better have some diamond chips in it or some shit.
- 1:08:22SPEAKER_01: You guys know anybody that's going to the concert?
- 1:08:25SPEAKER_01: We we were supposed to go.
- 1:08:27SPEAKER_04: Oh uh Rome's gone.
- 1:08:30SPEAKER_02: Rome's going to the concert.
- 1:08:31SPEAKER_02: Isn't your brother your brother going?
- 1:08:33SPEAKER_02: I thought your brother's gonna go in.
- 1:08:34SPEAKER_02: That shit gonna be it's gonna be fun, man.
- 1:08:36SPEAKER_02: It's gonna be fun.

- 1:08:39SPEAKER_02: Yo, we're gonna have rock, yo.
- 1:08:41SPEAKER_01: Yo, that'd be great if people come out, but I don't I don't know.
- 1:08:44SPEAKER_04: Isn't it crazy though?
- 1:08:46SPEAKER_04: You know, you know, there's it and there's always a balance to this, and it's always like what I struggle with because like I what Dave says sometimes is crazy, but what sometimes when he says something like the whole train station thing, he's like, he was like, yeah, he's like walking to hell, yo.
- 1:09:05SPEAKER_04: He was he was like, why are we doing why we tricking out a train station?
- 1:09:09SPEAKER_04: We should ride a bit.
- 1:09:10SPEAKER_04: He was like, Why are we doing this on a 30 thing?
- 1:09:12SPEAKER_04: I kind of stripped out of the crap.
- 1:09:14SPEAKER_04: He was like, Yeah, I ain't been in a train since I was 10.
- 1:09:19SPEAKER_02: Yo, but yo, you know the public.
- 1:09:25SPEAKER_01: It'd be funny, but that should be true, TV.
- 1:09:28SPEAKER_01: Like, he's kind of right, yo.
- 1:09:30SPEAKER_01: I've never seen him do like regular shit.
- 1:09:32SPEAKER_01: No, like Jay, even that's the first time I seen him.
- 1:09:36SPEAKER_04: You know, you don't think he'd be on a interviews, he never even does until now.
- 1:09:41SPEAKER_04: Ever since he came out.
- 1:09:42SPEAKER_01: Dog, like, even when he was the rapper that back in the day, before he was big, he was aloof.
- 1:09:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, very aloof.
- 1:09:48SPEAKER_01: Don't touch me.
- 1:09:49SPEAKER_01: He'd be at the club, he'd be the only one wearing a Gucci silk shirt.
- 1:09:53SPEAKER_01: Look, yeah, I remember these the video music box.
- 1:09:56SPEAKER_01: He on there, like he had the shirt open with the with the chain, always had a good season, like low good Caesar.
- 1:10:02SPEAKER_04: But a hove, even an interview, cigars, he would do maybe two interviews every couple years.
- 1:10:07SPEAKER_04: He didn't do a lot of interviews, so even th back in the day, dog, he's not very 1995 outgoing.
- 1:10:13SPEAKER_04: Dog, 1995.
- 1:10:15SPEAKER_04: So Dave was on his head.
- 1:10:16SPEAKER_02: He's like, What's going on?
- 1:10:17SPEAKER_02: Yo, he's Dave's like, yo, the people got him.
- 1:10:20SPEAKER_02: The people got him.
- 1:10:22SPEAKER_02: Walking into hell, you're walking into hell.
- 1:10:25SPEAKER_04: He's like, Evil, he would have got no chance against against good.
- 1:10:32SPEAKER_01: 1994, this brother was smoking cigars, or everybody was smoking Philly blunts.
- 1:10:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's how he was smoking Cuban cigars.
- 1:10:38SPEAKER_01: Like, he was.
- 1:10:40SPEAKER_01: I didn't know what he was talking about on these records.
- 1:10:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, now he out there with an Afro and cool.
- 1:10:48SPEAKER_01: He said the Rob report.
- 1:10:49SPEAKER_01: Not too many times.
- 1:10:50SPEAKER_01: What's the Rob report?
- 1:10:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah, what is that shit?
- 1:10:52SPEAKER_02: You had to look it up.
- 1:10:54SPEAKER_01: I didn't know.
- 1:10:57SPEAKER_02: He's either getting bored in life, he might just be getting bored.
- 1:11:01SPEAKER_02: Like, yeah, let me just grow my hair out.
- 1:11:04SPEAKER_02: Or let me know.
- 1:11:06SPEAKER_04: He was like, why doing a concert in Philly with an afro?
- 1:11:12SPEAKER_04: Wear it all black.
- 1:11:15SPEAKER_04: I thought he was a billionaire.
- 1:11:17SPEAKER_04: Yeah, nobody'd be saying they'll be kind of right though.
- 1:11:20SPEAKER_01: They'd be saying, yo, you'd be laughing.
- 1:11:22SPEAKER_01: You'd be like when you get to a certain point in life, it don't matter.
- 1:11:26SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm I'm at that point where I am more comfortable wearing hoodies and shit all the time.
- 1:11:31SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 1:11:32SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't care.
- 1:11:33SPEAKER_01: You know, and I don't and and and and I could go to a meeting.
- 1:11:36SPEAKER_01: But if I'm a performer and all that, like I don't know.
- 1:11:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but you can't be on all you gotta be comfortable, man.
- 1:11:40SPEAKER_01: Like when you get when you know that money ain't a thing, or you're you're but it just looked weird.
- 1:11:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the aesthetic looks weird on the weird.
- 1:11:49SPEAKER_04: I would have I would have waited, I would have waited for the Yankee Stadium tour.
- 1:11:53SPEAKER_01: Yo, even when he wore like a bomber coat, yo, like he everything was always fresh.
- 1:11:57SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, it was something, whether it's the watch, the seat.
- 1:12:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like I remember yo, I remember them talking about how many the Air Force Ones.
- 1:12:05SPEAKER_01: Like they were the first people talking about I throw away the Air Force One after I wear it once.
- 1:12:09SPEAKER_01: And this is true facts.
- 1:12:10SPEAKER_01: Yo, when I was up at Def Jam with New, you go into these niggas' offices, yo.
- 1:12:15SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, walls.
- 1:12:17SPEAKER_01: The wall, back wall, Dame's office, just boxes of Air Force Ones.
- 1:12:20SPEAKER_01: He comes to the office.
- 1:12:23SPEAKER_01: And put the Air Forces on, throw them out at the end of the day, or give them to somebody.
- 1:12:27SPEAKER_01: You know what I'm saying?
- 1:12:28SPEAKER_01: And go go about his business.
- 1:12:30SPEAKER_04: My uncle was in the projects, had to literally wall to wall to wall, like like rows and rows of rows.
- 1:12:35SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah.
- 1:12:37SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:12:38SPEAKER_04: Air Force Ones, like the dope boy.
- 1:12:41SPEAKER_04: He'd buy a new pair of sneakers every day.
- 1:12:42SPEAKER_04: Every day he was he was buying sneakers.
- 1:12:44SPEAKER_04: Every day.
