- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, I'm excited to be on John.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, you know, we had a little hiatus there.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_01]: We took a little bit of a break.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_01]: We had some things going on and and now we're back and it's always interesting when you leave for a little bit and you come back and we get to talk again.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's like.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_01]: 49ers have all kinds of stuff going on.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_01]: There's all kinds of conversation and We're just in the middle of the office, and this is supposed to be the slope period and yet the 49ers whenever they're Being talked about it's never slow.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_01]: It's always Stuff happening at a rapid pace nuclear hot conversations about whatever else Did not touch that at at at least not yet But yeah, it's fun.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_01]: I think that this is a good time of the year and we're just getting closer and closer to training camp in the season
- 1:33[SPEAKER_01]: For the people that are taking a deep dive at the 49ers roster, and I know you do this job with your countdown, and I've been trying to do that as well.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_01]: When that is the focus, you get really excited about what this team could be in 2026 because of the depth, and then some of the star players that they have, it's going to be a fun season.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_02]: uh, I'm pumped to man.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_02]: I really, really am.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_02]: And the more I dive into the roster and, you know, you see certain accounts throw out hate without knowledge.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, oh, all right.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_02]: That's a positive, which, you know, I have like the cowards, the neck rights, the Steven A's.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_02]: I got all of them muted and blocked.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_02]: But I get sent those clips videos post whatever through DMs and whatever else.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_02]: these people have no knowledge about the sport it's they have knowledge about hate and they don't even write their own you know whatever and so I stay away from a lot of that but it is kind of cool whenever you get a bunch of it at the same time and it's like oh all right the people that don't know much
- 2:38[SPEAKER_02]: Don't know much and that is a good thing.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_02]: I want to say thank you to all the hashtag CCs.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_02]: Look at this.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_02]: The striking gold podcast Rob Louter Coach pro chat tip via lieutenant simple jacks burner.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_02]: I love everybody go check out the striking gold podcast newly YouTube channel go give them a shot.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_02]: They always do a great damn job.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_02]: Hey Wayne and I hope everybody's doing well.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_02]: I'm John, but that's okay.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_02]: I know what you're talking about jacks.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_02]: I love you.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_02]: She knows that she's the best that's all there is to it now.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_02]: What I wanted to do today was a little bit different and I wanted to get into some predictions for the season and man I'm pretty I'm pretty psyched about this because Like you said you're going through your your roster breakdown series you're doing all that you know summarizing all this stuff there's a lot that's kind of behind or under the water.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_02]: That's just like, oh, it's bubbling crude ready to go.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_02]: And so what we're going to do today is we're going to bounce back.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_02]: We'll get to your questions, your comments.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_02]: And we could deep dive into any of these.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_02]: But we have some actual predictions.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_02]: I answer predictions.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_02]: He doesn't know mine.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_02]: And these are just predictions for the 2026.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_02]: 49ers season, uh, all kinds of different things.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm excited about this.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_02]: So, and let's go ahead and get started with you.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_02]: What's your first prediction that you have for the 49ers 2026 season?
- 3:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, it's fun.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_01]: I just did an episode talking about the interior defensive line and how the 49ers have rebuilt it.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it's going to be really good this season with Osa Digi Zua Grace and Halton and then Alfred Collins and CJ West kind of going to their normal natural position, not having to play any three tech but going inside and playing that one tech to I.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that where he morse is going to add a lot as well to what they're capable of doing.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm going to start with the projection for and prediction for OSA Digi Zua.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_01]: I think that OSA Digi Zua is going to have seven plus sacks this season from the interior.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_01]: When you look at the 52 pressures that he had last season, I think now with Nick Bosa on one side and Ramello height on the other.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: quarterbacks have to go somewhere.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: And if they're stepping up because Romero Heights bringing pressure with speed off the edge or Nick Bosa.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: They're stepping into OSA diggy zoo and I think some of those pressures turn into sacks and he goes from a three and a half guy to a seven plus guy doubles his outcome.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that he's going to have a really big season and really big impact on the 49ers because I do think that that was a sneaky good move by the 49ers.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: They they wanted John Franklin Myers.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_01]: they weren't able to get them, but they get something in return with a third round pick and Oscar Diggy's doing.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_01]: And they weren't going to get anyone in the third round that was going to be as productive as him this season in 2026.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_01]: I think he makes a huge impact of this 49ers defense.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it starts with seven sacks up front.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_02]: You know, one of my predictions I didn't go with this one, but the 49ers last year at 20 sacks.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_02]: It's just like, well, obviously they're going to have more.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_02]: You can't have less.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_02]: You can't go down from the bottom.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_02]: But at the same time, it's like, okay, I think I got to get to 30, I'm going to get to, you know, 32, 34, like, and I started, like, and so one of my predictions was going to be sex, I ended up not going with it, but man, you're talking about, okay, seven and a half sex for OSA, which would be the most easy to never had more than four and a half.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_02]: Ramello hi, where does he fall in there kind of that three to eight range Nick Bosa, you know, is he going to get double digit sex like he has a majority of his career right at that threshold.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe you start adding them and it's just like all right, man, you're you get to 20 pretty damn quick.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_02]: And that's not counting the kill Williams.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_02]: That's not counting CJ West, you know, Alford called like, there's going to be some random sacks.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_02]: And then you throw in the Raheem Morris aspect to it.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_02]: This guy has everywhere he has been in his career.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_02]: I talked about this couple episodes ago.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_02]: Only two third round picks have had eight or more sacks is a rookie in the past four drafts.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_02]: Both of them were coached by Rahim Morris.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_02]: Only one player in the entire draft last year had more than eight sacks out of the rookie draft.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_02]: That guy was coached by Rahim Morris.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_02]: Robert Sawless never been a huge sack guy.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_02]: That's not really his thing.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_02]: He talk all gas, no brakes, whatever else.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_02]: He's a sound, run responsible, stay in your lane.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_02]: Don't give up big plays guy.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_02]: That is the philosophical construct of a Robert Sawless and to me, go Ryan's to a lesser extent.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_02]: He's more aggressive.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_02]: Remorse does not buy into that philosophy near as much.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_02]: Whenever he went to
- 7:11[SPEAKER_02]: The Los Angeles Rams, and he instilled that Fangeo shell in the three four scheme that they won the Super Bowl with, it was aggressive front seven, you know, super shell over the top back for that.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_02]: That's just what they did.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_02]: And so what are you going to get because you didn't get that so much in Atlanta.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_02]: It was a different construct even whenever he was there and you could even go back further.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_02]: He Morris whenever he was with Tampa, he learned
- 7:40[SPEAKER_02]: A little bit of a defensive mind, a defensive mind, Camillion that could do a little bit of everything.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_02]: So my question to you, went, you brought up Osa's sack numbers.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_02]: What's the aggressive barometer going to change?
- 7:56[SPEAKER_02]: From where Robert Sala was last year, let's say one to 10.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_02]: To where you think the 49ers fill a soft cool idea of aggression, one to 10 will be this year.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's going to go up like a- I think that Rahim Morse is going to be extremely aggressive.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he's got a-
- 8:14[SPEAKER_01]: a calm bone in his body, like I think he wants to get after it.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_01]: I think when you look at the way the team is built, they're very much built to get after the quarterback.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: When you get guys who have GTF all like Ramello height, Osa Digi Zua, there is an aggression behind what they do, but not even that they're lying back.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: It's Fred Warner, Trey Greenlaw, aggressive by nature.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what they were trying to add last year to up and stout very aggressive, very physical.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_01]: Even the guys they added as backups, Jack Jones, Nate Hobbs, those guys are aggressive players
- 8:43[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that he's going to want that speed element out there on the field, but he's also going to want the aggressive element.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_01]: I think he would rather try to force things and have mistakes than sit back and let somebody pick him apart.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that that's a mindset that where he more has probably more so than a lot of the other coordinates, the 40's have had.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: another guy that had that that thought process was to make go rise to be go Ryan's likes to force you into making a mistake he likes to put pressure on you and I think that the 49ers would like to return to that I think Shanahan also trusts for him more enough and where he more knows that that where he can do some things that maybe other defensive coordinators wouldn't have been allowed to do he's going to have more leeway because Shanahan trusts him and and kind of what he can do and how he's proven how good of a defensive coordinator he's been through out the lead.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I like it.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_02]: I do want to just say thank you to Luke out there.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I got your message.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't get a chance to watch the UFC event.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_02]: Just wasn't in the cards with the family stuff going on.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, they used one of our countdown videos to introduce the 440 tires.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_02]: But anyway, I appreciate everybody that noticed reached out and I was beyond thankful for that.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_02]: The community new guys know hashtag cc count down crew the faithful you guys second to none and so I'm just very, very thankful for you guys.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_02]: So now right here, Kimbro says, you know, I agree with you a on OSA.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_02]: sack numbers are hard to predict that they're one of the least like I don't like bedding sack numbers ever I bet everything with the NFL I don't bet sack numbers usually ever but you look at just the quarterback hits back to back seasons with 23 quarterback hits for also diggy zoo uh that's crazy it has it corresponded into
- 10:36[SPEAKER_02]: You know, sack numbers, but he's going to a much better defense and so that that's going to help Is that you know one and a half two and a half three and a half sex where does that you know Kind of configure number wise, but also in a better place There's just no doubt about he has never had quality line backers behind them ever at any point in his career with the Dallas cowboys Now he gets to play with frequent Fred Warner
- 11:05[SPEAKER_02]: that that's crazy.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_02]: It's just crazy.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm excited to see whatever, what that's going to look like.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_02]: I learned a big tone.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_02]: He says it helps with your rest of life.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_02]: Little no effect.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_02]: John Chapman did MMA for a long time in high school and grad school.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_02]: I was a very good I didn't compete a lot.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_02]: I just love to work out.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_02]: The worst but kicking I have received in my entire life was from a wrestler.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_02]: I was completely defenseless.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_02]: I could do nothing.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, when you could wrestle,
- 11:32[SPEAKER_02]: If you have high school kids with any type of college aspirations, the football realm, get those boys in wrestling, please, even girls, my niece, she's in wrestling.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_02]: She wasn't wrestling, I don't think she has any more.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_02]: It just man, when you learn leverage in angles and weight displacement, all that stuff, it is just huge, huge, huge, huge.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_02]: So if you guys know somebody that wants to play in the NFL or college football, wrestle, wrestle, wrestle, trust me, trust me, trust me, whatever I'm doing.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_02]: My drap break down is like,
- 12:04[SPEAKER_02]: always go through their supports and try to see what they did if wrestling's in there it's like plus two and that's where two sports man because good lord I still remember just getting my butt kicked like nobody's business all right I have a prediction and mine's going to start with quarterback Brock Perty
- 12:23[SPEAKER_02]: The Brock party currently holds the record for most passing yards in the season with the 49er's franchise, and that record was 4,280 pass yards.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_02]: I think he breaks it.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_02]: I think Brock party this season helped obviously a big issue, but with the amount of times the 49ers have transitioned to passing plays per game.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_02]: It's not the traditional shanahan approach where you're leading the NFL and Russia tips and all that it's not that a lot of that's Christian McCaffrey a lot of that's your starting center.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_02]: It's a lot of issues, but when you have Brock party and even when Matt Jones went in,
- 13:02[SPEAKER_02]: it's just light it up, man.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_02]: Let's throw the ball 35 times a game, which hasn't really been the the situation throughout Shanahan's tenure here.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_02]: So I have, you know, brought pretty going over 4,300 pass yards, which, you know, I went and looked it up, the Vegas Sports Books, where his projected total.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_02]: They have them at 3,850.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_02]: I threw money down this morning, which I don't like tying up money for that long.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_02]: I just did a little $25 bit, but like I have him now the health is the only way that he's not going to get there.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_02]: If he plays 17 games, he's beating that number with these wide receivers.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_02]: But I have Brock Perti rebraking the 49ers franchise record and going over 4,300 pass yards.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_02]: How do you feel about that one?
- 13:46[SPEAKER_02]: You can tell me I'm crazy.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_02]: I keep giving you chances
- 13:52[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I love it.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I don't know if he goes to 4,300, but I think 4,000 is completely legitimate because of you like you said, the weapons that he's bringing in Mike Evans is going to have a huge effect on what the 49ers do and I don't think people really understand it yet.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_01]: They were looking at Debo.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_01]: They were looking at Christian.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_01]: They were looking at George first.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_01]: This is a guy that you better pay attention to.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that that's going to open things up for a lot of the other players on the 49ers team.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_01]: And there's that big play potential downfield.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_01]: And Brock loves to take some of these shots downfield with some of these 50, 50 balls.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_01]: Mike Evans goes and gets those plays.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't think he's ever had anyone.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_01]: I'd not even in college that could do the things that Mike Evans can do.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm extremely excited about that.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_01]: I think that that's a really good possibility.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_01]: I think
- 14:42[SPEAKER_01]: Brock's key like you said is health.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_01]: If he can stay health, his numbers are going to be through the roof, and I think this offense is going to really, really roll.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think that they've got just a really good group of guys now, and they add more speed with dribbling.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_01]: They add Christian Kirk and what he's able to do, finding space.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_01]: They've taken a lot of pressure off guys like Ricky Pierce all they've taken pressure off You know Brock Perty even because he's got necessary weapons guys.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_01]: You can win one on one What a what a big factor that's gonna be so I'm with you I think Brock Perty has a really big season 4300 would be phenomenal and you're right He was starts he was starts changing people's opinions That's an MVP caliber season that you have predicted and I'm forward I think Brock Perty has been in that mix before and he could do it again
- 15:27[SPEAKER_02]: It would be great to have Brock in that mix.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's like the seventh or eighth best odds of the NFL for the MVP currently, but he's got the situation built around him.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_02]: And finally, you get a full off season.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_02]: Like, oh, I'm just, I'm excited about what it is.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_02]: I really, really, oh, look at this.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_02]: Bill Piedmont, appreciate you.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_02]: We got a new YouTube member.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_02]: So glad to have you here.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_02]: You are the Freak and Man.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_02]: Appreciate your support.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_02]: All right, let's get to Ant.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go to one of your predictions as we've all of this back and forth.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, it's interesting.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_01]: You talk about Brock party and I was bringing up my evidence.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to go on the opposite side of the ball.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm going to go to the red zone.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_01]: I think the 49ers are going to go over 70% conversion rate on touchdowns in the red zone in 2026.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_01]: They added the ultimate red zone monster.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_01]: in my Kevin's like this dude is going to score touchdowns.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_01]: I did a video about this way before George Kittle was saying that he was dominating the red zone.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_01]: I just know how impactful Mike Evans is going to be in the red zone.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_01]: You throw the fact that Christian McCaffrey is also a red zone monster.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_01]: He's a matchup issue against linebackers.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to be a problem.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_01]: And when George Kittle gets back, he's always a red zone threat.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_01]: The 49ers have too many weapons, Brock pretty is one of the best passers inside the red zone, especially with anything that's tight quarters, he does such a great job, he uses legs to help with that 49ers in 2023 were the number one team in the NFL, they got close, they got up there into the, you know, 67, 68% but I think they get over 70 this year with Mike Evans, this is a legitimate threat, you give him one on one.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to go to him, whether it's back shoulder or a fade, he can get across their face on the slants.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_01]: And I think also you add in to Sean Stripling and that big body.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_01]: And next thing you know, you're going to have another weapon that you can use.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_01]: So I think it's up tick for everyone.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_01]: And another thing to remember, evil and Christian McAfrey's not on the field in the red zone.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_01]: The guys behind him, Jordan James, Halen Black, extremely good in short yardage situations.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_01]: And you look at a guy like Jordan James.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_01]: He had over 30 touchdowns in his career inside the red zone and short yards.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_01]: These guys are built for this, they're built for that lower red zone area.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_01]: I think before it's going to be extremely successful.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_01]: So I got him to go over 70%, I think they would be the number one team in the NFL.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_01]: Eagles usually write up there because of the twist pushing all that.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_01]: But I think the 49ers are going to be there.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you said 70% red zone success last year, the $40.65.2% in the red zone was fifth.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_02]: They were top five.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_02]: They had 70.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_02]: You're talking best in the NFL.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_02]: Like that is what Shayna had historically has been amazing in the red zone.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_02]: There was that one year where it was like, dude, what the hell?
- 18:04[SPEAKER_02]: They can't score any touchdowns.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_02]: Like what is happening?
- 18:06[SPEAKER_02]: But that was a one year anomaly.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_02]: Historically, the Shayna hand offense is great at.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_02]: yards per rush attempt and red zone and third downs, like those are the three things that he excels at.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_02]: yards per rush attempt.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_02]: They're last year was down major, but you know what that is.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_02]: Look at this.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_02]: Shout out to Ben within why Niners.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_02]: He's the best of the best.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_02]: Fun with numbers.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_02]: He says 48 receptions, 651 yards.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_02]: Mike Evans will pass Julio Jones career numbers.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_02]: He's already 42 touchdowns ahead of Julio.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_02]: You're talking about Hall of Fame numbers right there.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, if there's anybody knows how to use Julio Jones, it's Kyle Shanahan.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_02]: And he's even mentioned whenever they signed my ovens, you know, he said he's like, yeah, you know, I've Andre Johnson, Julio Jones, like he related him this big bodied, excellent, Hall of Fame wide receivers that he's coached.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_02]: I'd even throw in Josh Gordon in that.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_02]: That makes I know he's not a Hall of Famer, but shit, he got the most out of him as well.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think the speed is quite there for events like those other names.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_02]: But the career is there.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_02]: And so 48 reception 650 one yards, is there anybody that's like he's not gonna hit those numbers?
- 19:17[SPEAKER_02]: Like if that's the over under, dude's getting that in a sleep.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm over.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_01]: I'm way over on that for Mike Evans.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_01]: I've already said I think Mike Evans is going to get a thousand yards.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's going to return to that thousand yard form even with defenses turning attention to him.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the thing about, you know, who Leo Jones and Andre Johnson, those guys were big.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_01]: My Kevin's is six foot five.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_01]: Like this dude is a different kind of big.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_01]: Julio was more athletic, but he knows how to use his size.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_01]: And the fact that he's just so good at creating separation whether it's using his body or he's a pretty good route runner too for his size, he's got good fluid hips he can get in and out pretty well.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_01]: This is a guy that's still got the ability to go 1000.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, 48 for over 650, no problem.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_01]: Sign me up every day.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_01]: In fact, if there's something I can bet on for those numbers, I'm going over and I'm going over big.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_02]: My thing that I want to see, I want to see Brock pretty develop the back shoulder fade.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_02]: The comeback, you know, back shot like that.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_02]: If you could add that to your game with Deshawn Stripline and Mike Evans.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_02]: I've coached DBs, man, I've coached corners.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_02]: Can't guard it.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you are in perfect fit.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_02]: You're in phase.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_02]: You're locking down a wide receiver.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_02]: But if that quarterback can throw that back shoulder, it's unguardable, especially in a shell type, you know, quarters, thirds, cover six, any of that stuff.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_02]: can't do anything about it.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_02]: You just can't.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe with like a Tampa 2 deep drop from the corners, but like, not just don't do that, uh, Reemors didn't even do that.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_02]: And any stop he's been it.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_02]: So like, you develop that back shoulder throw.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_02]: It is just a change up that is unguardedable.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_02]: We haven't seen it from Brock party.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_02]: haven't really seen it for many of the shenanigans quarterbacks.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe Kirk cousins was probably the one that I would go back to Matt Ryan did it with Julio and whenever Kyle was there.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_02]: So like it's in there.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_02]: Do you think we'll see that addition?
- 21:16[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I hope I just hope we see it, man.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_02]: I really do.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think we're gonna see it.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_01]: I think that when you have two weapons like that with you have, you know, Evans and you have stripling, you have two guys that you're gonna get a one-on-one somewhere, right?
- 21:29[SPEAKER_01]: You can't cover everybody.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's why I think they're gonna be so good in the red zone, especially.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_01]: is I think you're going to get that.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're also going to get the return of some of the other who will route you know those 18 yard comebacks and stuff like that some things as stretch things a little bit more vertically that Kyle really hasn't ran but Brock is very good with timing and as long as him and Evans could get on the same page.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_01]: I think some of those things that we haven't seen since it land are going to come back in the fold.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_01]: Jimmy never had the arm for it.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_01]: Brock has the timing to make it work.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't have to have the arm for it.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_01]: But he's got the timing.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_01]: He's got impeccable timing.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that, yeah, a lot of things are going to fit.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that you're going to see some of these back shoulder fades, especially with Mike Evans, some of the conversation that Brock said about things that him and Tom Brady did where they had conversations about, you know, we did this, we did that, we changed this on the fly.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_01]: Those types of things are going to be big.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_01]: If Kyle Cheneyans is going to let them, you know, have some conversations about, hey, this stuff works against this defense and Evans is going to have that leeway.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_01]: I love it for his ability to make plays and Cheneyans kind of allowing those guys to do that.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_01]: I think is going to let Brock take the next step forward where he can kind of be more of a field general, a little bit here and there.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's not going to be a lot.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_01]: Cheneyans have loves having his fingers on everything, but he trusts Mike Evans.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_01]: That's a whole of famed guy.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that they're going to have a little bit of that and I think it's going to produce for this team.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I like that.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_02]: All right, let's get to the super chat.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_02]: Tommy talking trash as he always does.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's his love language.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_02]: Appreciate you, buddy.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_02]: He says, Gaff told me Wells is a trash soccer team.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that is nice.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_02]: Tommy also says, if anyone's in hayward, I'm playing at the B Street Fest from 6 to 645.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_02]: I assume today, I've seen Tommy play in person.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_02]: It is well worth the price of admission.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_02]: He's a good dude.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_02]: Contrary to his comments and on YouTube.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_02]: Talbi's the best man.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, stick with the soccer team Rusty says, J.C. you're gonna watch the Aussies play this weekend.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_02]: Man, I am actually Scott, who's helping us with our Australia party.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_02]: He flew out to the United States to travel with the World Cup team.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_02]: I'm meeting him.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and I'm going to the Australia Paraguay World Cup game.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_02]: I'm still, I've never been a World Cup game.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_02]: I love international play.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_02]: I haven't watched as much this year.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_02]: I were moving.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_02]: I'm getting my bucket kick.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_02]: But I will be at the Australia game.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_02]: I got my shirt.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_02]: I got my Australia shirt.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_02]: I wish I could go to the States game.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_02]: But just didn't work out in the budget.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_02]: It's just not in there.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_02]: I can spend the crazy money on the Niners.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think I can spend the crazy money on the world cup team.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not to that point yet.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_02]: Y'all, y'all got to subscribe more.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_02]: Rusty says, what's up, faithful?
- 23:58[SPEAKER_02]: Who's going to Australia?
- 24:00[SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_02]: I can't freaking wait and if anybody is going to any 49ers rush or 49ers away games, come join us.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_02]: 49ers rush road trip is going into its sixth year with over 40 events at road games if you are traveling to see the 49ers play this year, you got to come party with us.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_02]: And on top of that,
- 24:19[SPEAKER_02]: We give games, trivia, giveaways.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_02]: We partnered with Tick Pick this year.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_02]: All you have to do is search 49ers rush on any of the Tick Pick sites, apps, you name it, and on top of all of that.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_02]: Best dressed, giveaways, autographed jerseys, kids are always included and get in for free with a ticketed adult.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_02]: And a lot of times for select cities, we will have 49ers legends come out and you get to meet and greet them and get autographed, viral Bowman.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_02]: Frank Gore, Patrick Willis, Fred Warner, are all players that we have worked with in the past and trust me.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_02]: If you want to build the 49ers community, you're traveling by yourself, we got you covered 49ers RushRotrip.com.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_02]: All right, my next prediction, I'm going to the defense side of the ball.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_02]: Fred Warner.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_02]: I love the fact that he was ready to go and fully practicing during the playoff run and was ready to start the next game if they won that game in Seattle.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_02]: It didn't go that way.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_02]: But the fact that he has cleared every single checklist back in February to be able to play that means the entire offseason he's been at full go.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_02]: Now he gets his best friend back,
- 25:40[SPEAKER_02]: My biggest hiccup in this prediction is the quarterbacks that are available, but I have Fred Warner went into defense of player the year.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry, not defensive player the year.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_02]: He's a finalist for that.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_02]: Come back player the year, I apologize.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_02]: Now there's Mahomes, there's all these quarterbacks that are going to fit Jayden Daniels, and they love to give awards to quarterbacks, but I think Fred Warner makes a statement.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_02]: I really, really do, he's plus 1900.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_02]: So if you put down,
- 26:07[SPEAKER_02]: You know, 10 bucks, you're getting 190 back on this and the 49ers have lots of candidates on this because the entries, Nick Post has the same odds plus 1900 George Giddle plus 2200.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_02]: There's a lot of players capable for this, but Fred Warner, I just think can step out, cement his entire Hall of Fame legacy.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_02]: He gets one more all pro.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_02]: He's a lock to be in the Hall of Fame.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's got to be a lock to get the Hall of Fame anyway.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_02]: I just could not buy in any more to what Fred Warner is going to do in 2026.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_02]: He's never missed time ever in his entire career.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_02]: Had to sit out, watch that entire season.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_02]: And I think he's just ready to go.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_02]: The defensive lines way better.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_02]: It gets Drake Greenlaw back.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_02]: I think we're going to see the best Fred Warner we've ever seen, which is saying a lot.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, Fred was super juiced at the end of the season.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_01]: He wanted to come back last year.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_01]: He was looking for that opportunities, but it's in, and I think the fact that he came back from injury, it makes him, you know, a lot more excited about his opportunities that he's going to have.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_01]: He's very thankful for where he's positioned, but Drake Greelaw coming in is going to juice that line back a room.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_01]: up to another level.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they, you know, Drake's put now stuff that says it just feels right, you know, things like that.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_01]: These guys back together, they make each other better.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_01]: And you brought up the defensive line.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's going to be another huge factor.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_01]: Alfred Collins and CJ West in year two, these guys are going to play against the run a lot better than they did last year.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's so you're wasn't great.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_01]: They took their lumps and they learned a lot with those snaps.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_01]: But those guys are going to keep Fred Warner clean and there is no linebacker in the NFL that is as good as Fred Warner and coverage There's no linebacker in the NFL that's as good as Fred Warner when it comes to putting people in the right situations and the right you know places when defense is being called I think you're right Fred's gonna win come back later the year.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even think it's close
- 27:55[SPEAKER_01]: I think that he was on track last year to be in all pro and he got cut short I mean, you look at his PFF numbers.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_01]: He was still graded out.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's like the number one linebacker He was just on a different level.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_01]: Fred is a different player than everybody else at his position And I think that he's going to come out there as juice up and I think it's I think you're right I think he's going to be very successful.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_01]: I'm I'm excited for Fred Fred is so easy to like he's you know
- 28:19[SPEAKER_01]: If people that like other teams, Fred Warner is their favorite 49er.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's just the way it is.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I had a conversation with a Texans fan yesterday.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_01]: He said his favorite player on the 49ers is Fred Warner.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_01]: He said, you just have to like him.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_01]: He's just too good, and that's just how it is.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I'll tell this story a hundred times before it's all said and through, but like we had Fred Warner out to one of our draft events in Vegas showed up in flip flops cut off shorts.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_02]: We were in a run it out a whole club posh vibe.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_02]: He shows up does his contractual obligations comes over to me says, Hey, man, do you think if I can just hang out for a little while.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, Fred Warner.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_02]: I look over.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_02]: He's talking to my son for like 20 minutes didn't even know he's my son But just given him life advice comes back over.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, can I announce some of these giveaways and raffles?
- 29:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, Fred Warner.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you can announce some give it like the dude is like some people are just authentic and
- 29:13[SPEAKER_02]: he is exactly who you see at all times.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_02]: And there is nobody.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_02]: Drake Greenwell's my favorite player.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of that's just, you know, his story, foster care, all that kind of stuff.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_02]: But like, man, if you could have,
- 29:28[SPEAKER_02]: You know, your child mimic any player, Fred Warner's the guy.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_02]: It just amazing, amazing, amazing, amazing, amazing.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm loving all the comments.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_02]: Unleash the Warner Reen.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_02]: I like that.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_02]: You know, the field general is back.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_02]: Love it, love it, love it, love it.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_02]: Ben, Fred Warner's gonna make a big difference for our safety play too.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_02]: I'm hoping we see a lot of cover too.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_02]: I want to see Tampa 2 coverage.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_02]: I really, really do.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_02]: And Warner and that Urlacker role running down the seams.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_02]: I want to see that man.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, come on, man.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_02]: Come on.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_02]: Kim bro.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_02]: If you need help, move in.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_02]: I have a strong back.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_02]: If you have the beer, I'll do this.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_02]: That's Kim.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_02]: Love you, man.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_02]: Here.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, the man.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_02]: Warner Green Law 2026.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_02]: That's my captain.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_02]: He's just the best.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_02]: He makes everybody better.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_02]: I. I can't we get a
- 30:20[SPEAKER_02]: That's amazing.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_02]: That's amazing.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to volley it back to you.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_02]: Let's get another prediction from you for the 2026 49er season.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to go to the secondary.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_01]: You know, and you brought up a second to go to the Fred Warner, you know, in the conversation about him making things better for the safety room.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it's going to be better for the safety room, because I think that Marky Seagull is going to win that starting job.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's going to play a lot this season.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_01]: And I think he's going to be a part of a big rate of science for that second area.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_01]: I think what the pressure that's going to happen up front, marquee seagull is going to have a lot of plays.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_01]: And so I'm going to kind of put this one together where the four, I think marquee seagull is going to help this team with turnovers.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_01]: And seagull's going to have three interceptions this season.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's going to step out on the scene.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_01]: He's already the best tackle on the football team.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_01]: And I think he starts generating turnovers.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_01]: And it's not just a,
- 31:10[SPEAKER_01]: something that I'm throwing out there on the whim, but if you go back and you watch, he's just a tick slow.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_01]: He was letting the game come to him instead of taking it to the game.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that that's one of the big things when he's watching, he was kind of letting it develop before he trusted his eyes and went.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_01]: I think this year he has a better understanding.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_01]: of what NFL play looks like, the timing, I think he's going to be more comfortable where he's added the defense and I think he's going to start jumping some of these routes and the things that we saw at K State that made us love him, I think they're going to start coming out and he's going to start finishing some of those plays you can finish last year.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_01]: So I love Marky Seagull's ability.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's a big reason why they didn't invest a lot in safety this off season.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_01]: So I think they believe that he can be
- 31:50[SPEAKER_01]: the player that they're hoping and kind of a Jimmy Ward kind of player that can kind of line up in the slot at times play over the top, get in the box and mix it up and I got him getting three sacks and I think it's going to be a lot of turnovers for the 49ers this year.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_01]: Don't be surprised to see the 49ers generate a lot of turnovers on defense with the Renaissance of the past rush and then that secondary getting better.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_02]: Here's my question.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_02]: What would you say about the
- 32:21[SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't think so.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_01]: In fact, my conversation has been this off season.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_01]: I believe that Malik Mustafa was actually the one that I could see them going in different route with mainly because they're going to look for more coverage.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_01]: I love Malik Mustafa.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_01]: But if you watch him and covers last year, it was a struggle.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_01]: And he's already had some limitations with some of the his abilities when you're talking like his hips and being able to run with receivers.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_01]: and 13 personnel and things like that don't really work out for him the way that they want.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_01]: Now, Seagull coming on the scene and playing well actually makes things easier from out to stop on the role that they can put him in.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_01]: But I think that Ashton Davis is right now at Death Peace.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_01]: But I thought that Matt Barrow's comments weren't too far fest.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_01]: I thought the four years were going to draft a safety.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_01]: This was early in the process.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_01]: They could draft a safety and play them with Marky Seagull where they could get more optimization because you know this John,
- 33:12[SPEAKER_01]: you've got to cover as much grass as you can as a defensive player.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_01]: And if you're going to have four, three guys, that's going to help out a lot.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to create opportunities for these guys to make plays, but also keep things underneath and kind of keep over the top.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_01]: You're talking cover too.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_01]: Let's keep everything underneath.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that that's a big thing that could do with Seagull Mallock, I worry about.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we're already starting to hear in OTAs.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Mallock didn't kind of beat deep.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_01]: Those are some of the things I worry about.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's going to have a bounce back.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_01]: I think last year the ACL contributed a little bit more than we wanted to think it was going to.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_01]: But I do think that that's probably where they're looking at.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, could we go with a more hybrid safety role where these guys are a little bit faster and can make more plays use their speed to kind of cover more ground.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's, it's, it's your seed to be because Matt Parals came out and said, you know, don't be shocked if it's Ashley Davis of Arquise Eagle, as you, as you're starting tandem.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you know, everybody kind of sees it as Malik Mustafa's got it locked down.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_02]: And the explosive place from Alec are there, and I think they're going to continue to be there.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, man, and we haven't even mentioned Jaiya Brown, who is the highest drafted of this entire room.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think you and I are the biggest Jaiya Brown fan club members, but he is a turnover guy.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_02]: I think that there's four guys that they're just going to let it kind of play out and just who wants it.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_02]: Who wants it?
- 34:34[SPEAKER_02]: You go watch the safety position, the entire training camp preseason, it's going to be entertaining because I think both spots are up for graphs.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_02]: And this isn't a position that the 49ers value.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_02]: They don't spend high draft picks.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_02]: They don't spend free agency money.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_02]: You had an all pro safety that you let walk.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_02]: It didn't even try to sign and tell a no fun.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_02]: It goes has an all pro year, year he left.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's just not something that they value and want to spend on.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see it.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, hopefully, Marky Seagull, I'm high on him as well.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_02]: I'm with you.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_02]: I really, really, really want to see him just be successful.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_02]: He's such a fun player, man.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_02]: And that fourth three speed, I, one of the best, if not the best tackling player in the 49ers defense already.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_02]: He just got to make those plays in the air.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, just one tick, it proves that little bit that much.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_02]: You got a baller.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_02]: You got a baller.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_02]: Now, for my prediction, this is my last one.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to go to the offensive line.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to still win away from me.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_02]: I think Connor Colby is going to be starting left guard.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's going to hold that job down.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_02]: I have him with 14 plus games started this year, injuries, whatever else.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_02]: You know, might not get it week one, but I think Connor Colby is going to take this job and just run with it.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_02]: I really, really do.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_02]: If that's the case, the Niners locked up young guards, left
- 36:01[SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of the best case scenario Robert Jones might be a little more consistent now.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_02]: How much longer is he going to play Connor Colby?
- 36:08[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just not sure he's going to let go of that job like he did last year.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_02]: I think he learned so much in his first starts and they weren't great, but I think he learned a lot.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_02]: Then he gets benched.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_02]: Watch his comes in in garbage time.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_02]: It was awesome.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_02]: Every single time he got on the field in garbage time down the stretch last year.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_02]: I think Connor Colby went that left.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_01]: I think they want Connor Kobe to win that left guard job.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_01]: I think they're going to give him every opportunity.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_01]: I thought something that was very interesting to Chris first or said was when they drafted him, they didn't really see starting potential in Connor Kobe.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_01]: They saw a player that looked like he was going to be, you know, somewhat of a backup, but he said he sees it now.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think that that's a great tip of the cap to Connor Kobe.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_01]: It is a build.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_01]: The biggest thing with Connor is going to be a past protection, especially when there's stunts.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_01]: uh... things coming his way he look lost a lot of times last year turning the wrong way uh... you know just look like he wasn't fluid picking things up and a big conversation into weather connecobies ready or not is going to come from trend Williams uh... Chris first is going to lean on that because trend Williams is better when he has a consistent player next to him Spencer berfer didn't play that well but trend Williams was a lot better with Spencer berfer next to him than he was connecobies so
- 37:19[SPEAKER_01]: He wants to feel comfortable with that left guard and he had a good relationship with Burford.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_01]: So it's going to come down to that.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_01]: Can he get a working relationship with Conorco?
- 37:27[SPEAKER_01]: We can.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_01]: He figure out how to pick up these stunts and how to not be confused.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's one of the main things that he's got to work on.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_01]: And then you know, just can't treat Williams feel like he's comfortable with him.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_01]: He feels more comfortable with Rob for Jones.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_01]: And it's close, don't be surprised if Robert Jones isn't the starting left guard.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_01]: But I do think they want Connor Kobe to be able to step into that role.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_01]: I think it would make things a lot easier for this football team.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_01]: They would have a young player under contract for the next three seasons.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I think that it's plausible.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_01]: I think that was another one that's going to be interesting.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_01]: And I throw out Brett Tilt as well.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_01]: I know that we've got a situation where he's the backup center.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_01]: And they don't really want their backup center starting.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_01]: But I think that John Flisiano in 2023, they waited too long to get him into the starting line.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_01]: When they got him in there, that offense took off.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_01]: They got better in the red zone.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_01]: They became a lot more dynamic.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think that they can't wait to pull the trigger as long.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_01]: And Brett Toth has been getting some really good coaching for a few years.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_01]: He's NFL ready.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_01]: He's ready to go.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's a very talented player.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_01]: As long as he's healthy, I throw him in the mix as well.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to be another fun conversation that left guard spot.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_01]: I think that one.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to be watching who's lining up where at training camp, if he was getting those reps, I think it's going to be a little bit tougher for Toath, but I think if he gets an opportunity, he's a dark horse to take that spot.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and that's the thing like there's depth at these spots now, even with Carver Willis who you didn't mention, like I think he's the long-term plan at at center, which is great, like the Niners have never had a plan there.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_02]: Now you have that depth there, whether that's Toth or Carver Willis, what that looks like, but you have your immediate competition and then you have young aspiring backups and reggae crews at Carver Willis, Brett Toth, I think falls into that as well.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_02]: It's just, it's a different roster build, it's a different roster construction, then we're used to saying, and man usually keep aid offensive linemen, how the hell you going to do that.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_02]: Somebody is going to have, if there's not an injury, there's going to be an injury because she had it's going to have to create one to allow that room to stick together because there's just too many guys, which is great.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_02]: That's where you want to be, where you're up against the 53 man roster and you're just like, dude, there's no way to keep all these guys.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_02]: what are we going to do like we have too many good players and you always hear Shinahan and John Lynch talked about this after the draft well we did draft that position because we didn't think the guys that were available could beat out the guys that we have I hate that statement it pisses me off every single time I'm like dude you don't know you don't know
- 39:57[SPEAKER_02]: Like, people always talk about the poor drafting day.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_02]: I think there's some philosophical issues I completely disagree with.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_02]: You look at how he rosemen who you could argue to the greatest general manager and NFL history.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_02]: He says, we don't want backups.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_02]: We are drafting guys that can start and come in and compete.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_02]: Whether it's the seventh round, second round, first round doesn't matter.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_02]: And that's how you get guys like Jordan, my lot of, right?
- 40:21[SPEAKER_02]: Like, we want guys that can come in and if everything goes well, they could start.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_02]: And so like they don't care about what they have at the position.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_02]: We're drafting quality players late now you can say the same thing.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_02]: All right, what about Brock Perty, what about George Kittle, what about you Huffungo, what about what about what about what about, but it's just the different way you look at it.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_02]: Whenever John Lynch or Kyle says, well, we didn't think there was anybody there.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_02]: That could beat out the guys we I hate that like I'm just like, dude, bring in competition.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you might think they are not as good as whatever and that's fine, but like Who's the best player?
- 40:56[SPEAKER_02]: The draft that player late in the draft.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_02]: I understand early in rounds.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_02]: I get that.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_02]: I could buy into that philosophy Do you think that that kind of back to this Connor Colby thing?
- 41:08[SPEAKER_02]: Didn't really you know pick him to be a starter, but dude started week one is rookie here didn't do a good job But he he was there
- 41:17[SPEAKER_02]: Man, if they would have took Connor Kobe in the fifth round, I would have been happy, especially looking at it now.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think that you are looking at these guys, especially later in the draft, and you're looking for something upside, right?
- 41:29[SPEAKER_01]: Some sort of trait that you can build upon with offensive lime, and that's a little bit more difficult.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_01]: I think within Riquec Cruz, it's really easy to see, right?
- 41:36[SPEAKER_01]: He's got the hyper athleticism, like he's physically gifted, so you're wondering if you can mold him technique wise and to be coming a consistent player,
- 41:44[SPEAKER_01]: in the NFL with Connor Colby.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_01]: It was kind of the opposite.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he was more of a consistent guy in college, but doesn't really have that elite trade or something that kind of shines that makes you think, oh, these guys got a ton of upside.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_01]: You look at the 49ers picks and later rounds this time.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_01]: We got price lock with the long arms and
- 42:01[SPEAKER_01]: Jaden Dugger, who's a crazy freak athlete in Rieke Cruz, they kind of went that direction with guys that could develop into potential starters down the road.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe their philosophy did change with this draft and what they looked at kind of going down the stretch.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_01]: But with Connor Kobe, it's more about consistency.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_01]: And with offensive line, Chris first likes to get guys who are good at one thing, either run blocking really well.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_01]: And he feels like, oh, I can develop them as a
- 42:30[SPEAKER_01]: That's part of the reason they're in the mid rounds and he he feels like he can do that a lot of times And with Connor Kobe, they feel like they've got another guy that can do that now, but I think that he played a lot better than people expected down the stretch You don't when you have that garbage time like you brought up
- 42:45[SPEAKER_01]: But there's a lot of work to do.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's going to have to prove that he can be a consistent player.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_01]: They need better play from that left guard spot.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_01]: That's why I'm really excited that they have a guy like Robert Jones and Brett Toath.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_01]: Because those guys at least are going to be stable.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_01]: So you can at least have that.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_01]: Now if Connor Kobe hits, we all feel a lot better about the position and Connor Kobe takes it to another level.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_01]: And that's exciting for this football team.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_01]: but at least they're insulated.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_01]: And I thought that was a really good move investing in the offensive line because they need one of those guys to hit.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_01]: They can't go into the season with a left guard hole with questions already at center of what you're going to get consistently in certain aspects of Jake Bremdall's game.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_01]: So this is going to be one of the big ones.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_01]: I hope it's Connor Cobb because I think that's the best for this football team, but I think that it's going to be a fun competition.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_02]: I like it.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_02]: Big toe, appreciate it.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_02]: Super chat.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_02]: He says safety should be a priority that safety is destiny.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_02]: Um, where do you agree with the Niners philosophy on safety not being a priority and investing?
- 43:45[SPEAKER_02]: No money and the very little draft capital in that position or do you see safety as?
- 43:51[SPEAKER_02]: man, you can get a value there.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think that at time safety should be value.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_01]: I think safety's our game changed.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_01]: I think you look in the history of the 49er's football team.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_01]: When they had good safety play, they were really good on the back and I mean, George C.ford always believed in really good safety play.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_01]: And I trust him, you know,
- 44:08[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Ray Rhodes and those guys, they were really good and they invested in safety and those guys made a lot of place for this football team And even the hardball days, you had Whittner, you had Golds and those guys also weren't posing over the middle of the field.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_01]: They made you think twice So safety plays important I was very high on Nick M in worry coming out last year.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_01]: I thought that that was a first round guy.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_01]: I would have invested in Nick M in worry, but I don't make decisions for the 49ers.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_01]: So I do think at times it can be if you think it's going to be a game changer invest
- 44:35[SPEAKER_01]: I think it is a position that's been devalued a lot like some of the other positions running back tied into a point that you feel like you can get someone in the mid rounds and they can be impactful for your football team.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_01]: And foreigners just haven't quite hit that guy yet.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully, Marky Seagull is because I do think he's got the traits to be really good.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_02]: I like it.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_02]: One of the best to ever do it, Phil.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_02]: What's up, my man?
- 44:56[SPEAKER_02]: Appreciate the super chat.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_02]: He says, hey, I caught you live.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_02]: Love the coach approach.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_02]: Phil's Ant's biggest fan.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_02]: And he is just one of the nicest human beings I've ever met.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_02]: Phil, I see your face.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_02]: I see your name in the chat.
- 45:08[SPEAKER_02]: I light up like a Christmas tree.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_02]: Which cheeks are already red.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_02]: Only had to go halfway.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_02]: uh... but i just want to say thank you feel appreciate all that you do kibbro coming in strong thanks for the super chat man this collaboration has made me subscribe to the four hours cutback i get to hear both john and aunt through the week thanks guys and for everybody watching listening downloading whatever platform you are

- 45:30[SPEAKER_02]: You will be smarter, entertained.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_02]: It is the best of the best, man.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_02]: I've known aunt for a handful of years.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_02]: Now, not long enough, can't wait to further this relationship.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_02]: But I do want to just take time and just say, man, appreciate what you do.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_02]: The positivity you bring, the education, and not diving into the clickbait, whatever.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_02]: Having said that, we're about to answer some clickbait questions.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_02]: So apologies there.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_02]: A couple questions, a comments that I want to get to before we get out of here, then Tories GAV, Kyle use check stat projection, or we write it.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_02]: Let me pull up Kyle's, let's go just based on receiving, I mean, the dude ran the ball two times last year, right?
- 46:16[SPEAKER_02]: Last year he had 24 receptions.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_02]: Was his, man, dude, he's been with the 90s for 10 years.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_02]: He had more receptions last year, 24.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_02]: Then he did the previous three seasons combined.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_02]: Do we see how you check being used in a similar way last year?
- 46:36[SPEAKER_02]: I thought it was one of his best seasons to be honest with you of the 10.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_02]: What do you see with how you check in 2026?
- 46:42[SPEAKER_02]: Same?
- 46:44[SPEAKER_01]: I think you can come close to the same because I think that they're going to use them a little bit in the tight in room.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_01]: I think early on in this season, you know, I think the expectation we're talking about how do you keep nine offensive linemen.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you keep two tight ends and I think, you know, Kyle you check is such a mastery of this offense now.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_01]: You can use him all over the field and I think he's going to get some opportunities at tight in.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_01]: So I expect him to make some catches and I trust him a lot more on the field than a guy like Luke Ferrell.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_01]: So some two tight insets with him and Jake Tongis.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think sound exciting.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_01]: I talked about the red zone earlier and how I think it's going to be so good.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_01]: Well, who's going to be the forgotten man in that situation, Kyle, you check.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes he's just going to sneak right out of the backfill for some big time touchdowns.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_01]: So I do think how you check is going to have successful season a lot like last year.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and he had a 78.6 succession percentage when targeted, which is one of the best of the NFL.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_02]: You throw the ball to him.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_02]: Good things happen.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_02]: And not explosive plays, but you can get the first down, move the chain, stay ahead of the chains.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_02]: That's what he does.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_02]: Love me some Kyle use check.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_02]: Keep them out there.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_02]: Please, please, please, please.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_02]: Rusty, here we go, maybe we please address the Max Cross B situation in the infatuation by fans.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not high on the idea, but open to both big brains at both opinions.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_02]: I talked about this a little bit yesterday with Larry show, Larry being the radio host that he is.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to go after those headlines.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_02]: So I had a chance to talk about that.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_02]: One, the Davis family is not trading their best player to the 49ers.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_02]: We've already seen that play out with Mark Davis and Kalil Mac too.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think the 40 hours are in the position to take on that contract for the next couple years.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_02]: Three, I think the 40 hours want to see what they have in house and it would be much likely much more likely in season as a trade than it is right now right now.
- 48:28[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think it makes any sense and anything you want to add to that.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, I talked about Max Krause, we kind of early on in the situation and kind of approach it again when Miles Gary got traded to the Rams, like, hey, do the 49ers need to do something.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of conversation around it.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're right about the trade deadline.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's the more realistic conversation point because then the 49ers would know, hey, where a Max Krause be away.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that that's where it becomes real.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_01]: Max Krause can then prove that he's back from his injuries, whatever, Baltimore allegedly saw.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think we'll be a part of it.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_01]: And then when it comes to Mark Davis, I do have a question, I would normally have said he'll never trade with the 49ers, but I think the infusion of different minds in the building right Tom Brady's now a big part of what they're doing in the front office.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_01]: And also, Kubia, you know, being there, there might be some familiarity there, and they might be willing to make a deal.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't like a lot of the trade scenarios that I've seen.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_01]: I think that that's a lot to give up for Max Crosby, unless he's going to put you over the top and win a Super Bowl.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_01]: And I like Max Crosby.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's a really great player.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_01]: I just, to me, a free agent player, where just costs money makes a lot more sense and giving up a 2027 first ground pick, McCell Williams and something else, like, I don't really like giving up all that.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_01]: Capital for a player, but if it was gonna put them over the top You told me they could trade for Max Crosby the trade deadline They're gonna win a Super Bowl signed me up every single day twice on Sunday like I'm in it But I don't think it's there.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think there.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_01]: I think they like him I just don't think that they're actually gonna pull the trigger on that deal like for all the reasons you brought up earlier with money and and drafts capital
- 50:00[SPEAKER_02]: Right here, Ben and other, you know, Mike Evans stat, he says 1200 yards Mike Evans passes Andre Johnson.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_02]: I pulled up Mike Evans is currently 21st in NFL history with 13,552 receiving yards and he's about to launch.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_02]: up this.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_02]: If he gets 1200 yards, he would move into 11.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_02]: He'd go from 21st to 11 passing 10 players just behind Reggie Wayne.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_02]: But I mean, they're like, he's, these are the names he's about to pass.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_02]: Steve Larson, Andre Reed, DeAndrey Hopkins, Toriho, Julio Jones, Henry Lard,
- 50:43[SPEAKER_02]: all within the realm of possibility this year, if he hits a thousand yards, then he's again, another three to four hundred yards away from passing Andre Johnson, Reggie Wayne, Marvin Harrison, like he's he's pretty if he plays two seasons and just gets six hundred yards a season.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_02]: This dude's going to be a top 10 wide receiving career.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_02]: Now he is only nine and a half thousand yards behind J.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_02]: Rice.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_02]: So he climb far.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think he's going to climb that far.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_02]: One day that record will be broken.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe not in our lifetimes.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, but my Kevin's.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_02]: He's got a ways to go and he's got to pass a lot of all time.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_02]: Greats.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Mike Evans is going to have a big season and I think that's what he's looking for.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_01]: He's looking to be put into that category.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_01]: He talked about wanting to be a Hall of Famer and you know, Trent Williams called him a first ballot hall.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_01]: And he was like, oh, but he's looking for that.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_01]: He's looking for that recognition.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_01]: I think he felt like he wasn't really getting it in Tampa Bay.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that he wants to get on the bigger stage.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_01]: And it doesn't get bigger than San Francisco with the way that the fans travel and how everyone has an emphasis on it.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_01]: There's a reason the 49ers first cowboys is always one of the most watch games every single year that they play because it's big time.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's show time when the 49ers show up in the golden red.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_01]: He wants to be a part of that, and I think if he knows if he wins another Super Bowl, he's a first ballot hall of fame, and all these numbers are great, but that's one thing he's really looking at as being a first ballot hall of fame.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_02]: Right here, Kim bro, John, without naming any names, have any Niners you have had to our Vince Benters.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they have.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_02]: It's mostly the agents.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_02]: They have to do their job.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_02]: I'll never throw a negative name out there.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_02]: But I will tell you the positives, the majority of positives.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_02]: And if you get a chance to meet some of these, you know, legends and whatever else take the opportunity, it's, it's there.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_02]: They've worked
- 52:43[SPEAKER_02]: they have to work hard enough to make you not be a fan.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_02]: And that's just that's up to them, not you.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_02]: I always hear people say, oh, don't mean your heroes disagree disagree.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_02]: If they live or operate in a way for them to no longer be a hero or a fan, whether that's up to them.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_02]: But the majority are awesome.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_02]: They really, really are in Frank Gordon, Viro Bowman, Fred Warner, top of the top of the list.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_02]: There's lots more that I could go on and on about it.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_02]: You just see my favorite thing at all these events is where you see kids who don't know who the hell Frank Gore is.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_02]: They don't know who the Viro Bowman is.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_02]: They don't know who these guys are.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_02]: But whenever you see them get the autograph and the picture and walk away and the face is just like, you've created a moment.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_02]: And that kid's locked into the faithful for good.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_02]: Like, he's in, she's in.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_02]: That is just the coolest thing.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_02]: Like, oh, I'm just, yeah, that's what it is.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_02]: So anyway, you brought up Dallas.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if everybody saw the England fans for the World Cup game at Texas Live.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_02]: That's that bar where all the English fans are.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_02]: Like, that's the event with the space we got.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_02]: So we're gonna look like that just with nine or six fans.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_02]: We're expected.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_02]: Our largest party or largest party we've ever had is about 800 something.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to beat that Dallas.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_02]: So 49ers rush road trip calm.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_02]: Come out.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_02]: Be with us Dallas is going to be incredible.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_02]: I will never miss a 49ers Cowboys game in person again.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_02]: That is a life goal.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_02]: That's a goal.
- 54:12[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see how long I can keep that going.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_02]: But anyway.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_01]: any closing remarks before we say goodbye just like to say that i had a good time john it was it was great uh always enjoy our conversations and the interaction with the people in chat they always go hard they do such a great job i like seeing all the familiar faces people that i got to meet in person at the draft party and stuff like that so
- 54:35[SPEAKER_01]: it's it's a great time anyone that's that wants to go to one of the rush road trips you guys should go just meet the people the people are great yeah you know meeting John is is great meeting a player is great but meet the other 49er faithful fans they are tremendous they're really good people so go do it enjoy it have a good time and hey we're we're right on track for a great 49er season I'm looking forward to it
- 54:59[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I always say this at the events and I say, like, look, if you come to this event, you don't meet new people, you've failed the faithful.
- 55:06[SPEAKER_02]: It's about the community.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_02]: And like, we have stories of people being in each other's, you know, a bridal party that they've met at 40.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_02]: We've been doing this for like,
- 55:15[SPEAKER_02]: a freaker forever man.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_02]: It's just so cool.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_02]: It's such a good time.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, I appreciate everybody out there.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_02]: Ditorious says, Chapers, you live tomorrow.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_02]: I'm apartment searching.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_02]: I'm getting about the chapter is getting their butts kicked right now.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_02]: Our youngest is moving to Texas.
- 55:31[SPEAKER_02]: We're getting him in apartment, which that should be squared away today.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_02]: The wife and I are struggling.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_02]: The Bay Area is so damn pricey.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_02]: I don't make a lot of money.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_02]: It's so like we're struggling.
- 55:41[SPEAKER_02]: So
- 55:44[SPEAKER_02]: I might be able to squeeze in a countdown video.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_02]: I've got my notes done.
- 55:47[SPEAKER_02]: I just, I'm not sure.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_02]: Now, aunt, are you going live tomorrow?
- 55:50[SPEAKER_02]: That's the more important question.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think I'll be going live tomorrow.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_01]: I have a day off from work.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_01]: So I will probably put something out hopefully, but I am, I'm going on a, I'm gonna have a few days off here.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm gonna try to take it in and go in a little bit.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I did videos all week.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see, I might squeeze something out there.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully I can, but no guarantees.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no guarantees.
- 56:13[SPEAKER_01]: I might just, you know, put my feet up a little bit and enjoy a little down time.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_02]: I love it, man.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_02]: You deserve it.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_02]: It's off season for us to appreciate all the fans everybody watching and you are the best of the best until next time.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I got to wait.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_02]: We got a super chat code out of the while.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_02]: Appreciate you.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_02]: Here we go.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_02]: Kai Poppa, Nua.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_02]: That is just like the coolest name ever.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_02]: John first time super chat.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_02]: Best Niners pot out there.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_02]: Lost my mom about a month ago and the pot has helped me get through some of the rough times.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_02]: I'm so sorry.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_02]: I know that that's not easy and rely on others, and if we can play a small role in any way, we are beyond thankful.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_02]: Feel free to reach out for the Irish Rush podcast at gmail.com.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_02]: That goes to anybody.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_02]: If you need somebody to talk to, yeah, yeah.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not good at this stuff, but yeah, please, you do not ever have to go through these things alone.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_02]: There are people that love you and care for you, even though I haven't met you or seen you, just want to let you know where they're for you.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_02]: So, uh, anybody going through hard times, well, we love you.
- 57:10[SPEAKER_02]: And don't go through them on your own, no matter how bad it feels, there are people out there to talk to.
