- 0:09Welcome everyone, Welcome to the Cultural Integration Fellowship.
- 0:14I'm very happy to have Santosh back who's going to speak on
- 0:25matters concerning evolution and how we can participate in this
- 0:34evolution which is which is going on.
- 0:38I'm sure you're familiar with this fact that integral yoga is
- 0:43a world transforming yoga. Of course, individual liberation
- 0:48is extremely important. The entire yoga is predicated on
- 0:52that. But the journey does not end in
- 0:57liberation. It does not end in moksha,
- 1:02there's still some travelling to do.
- 1:05In fact it is after that that a profound collaboration with the
- 1:10force of the mother begins to happen.
- 1:13And it is from that perspective, in its ultimate sense, that
- 1:22individual and world transformations has to be
- 1:26undertook, taken. But on that issue, it will be
- 1:31Santosh who will be shedding more light.
- 1:35So let me just quickly introduce him despite the fact that he
- 1:40does not need any introduction. Santosh has been studying
- 1:44Shivarvindo Shivarvindo's writing since 1971 and has a
- 1:49daily blog at shivarvindostudies.worldpress.com

- 2:458711 word Santosh Krinsky 871 So before I hand over the screen to
- 2:55santosh, I want to read a poem from Doctor Haidas Choudhury's
- 3:01collection The Rhythm of Truth and the title of this poem is
- 3:09Creative action. Truth is freedom and freedom is
- 3:16joy. Life is joyful expression of
- 3:20truth and freedom. Life is the rhythm of light
- 3:24breaking through darkness. It is the dance of spirit in the
- 3:29heart of matter, the music of silence beneath all surface
- 3:34turmoil, the drama of the unseen visible in tears and laughter.
- 3:41When a glimpse is caught of the formless light, when the message
- 3:46is heard from the soundless word.
- 3:50When the path is cleared for the gateless gate, the cup of life
- 3:56is filled to the brim with the ecstasy of creative action.
- 4:08Let's meditate for a minute at least, and then I will hand over
- 4:14the screen to Santosh. Welcome back, Santosh,
- 5:27over to you. Well, thank you.
- 5:31I'd like to first of all, welcome everybody who's joined
- 5:36us here today. And little housekeeping stuff
- 5:42looks like everybody's muted your microphones, which is
- 5:45great. But we do expect to have some
- 5:50time for what I find to be the most interesting part of these
- 5:54talks is some conversation between all of us after the end
- 5:59of the presentation. So we'll leave some time for
- 6:02that. We're going to do something a
- 6:04little bit unusual this time. You know, we sort of have these
- 6:09formulae that we accept after having studied Trioro Bindo for
- 6:15many years, that the evolution of consciousness developed forms
- 6:22and basically there's this evolution in process.
- 6:27But I don't know, until recently I wasn't really much concerned
- 6:33about, well, OK, let's look at the process and see what it
- 6:37looks like and see how it begins to correspond with what the
- 6:42scientists have to say about how these things happen.
- 6:45So actually the the title for the discussion today that I sent
- 6:52in was the evolution of Consciousness and the course of
- 6:55time, our spiritual destiny, and it turned into spiritual or
- 7:01collective destiny, which is fine because that's where it was
- 7:04going. But we're going to spend some
- 7:07time going through a brief history of time.
- 7:12With all due deference and respect to Stephen Hawking,
- 7:15we're not going to go back to The Big Bang or beyond that to
- 7:20whatever came before. Let's start just with the age of
- 7:27the earth when we get there. So as Kundan mentioned,
- 7:32historical yogic practice focused on individual salvation
- 7:38or liberation, and it was all an individual effort and it didn't
- 7:44really have an impact on anybody or anything else specifically.
- 7:49It wasn't geared towards that. The integral yoga focuses on the
- 7:54evolution of consciousness and the transformations needed to
- 7:59establish what Shri Aurobindo calls the next stage of that
- 8:04evolution, beyond the mental level that we now experience and
- 8:10share with each other. And he called that the supra
- 8:14mental beyond the mind. So if we look back at the
- 8:22history, first, let's let's think about for a moment whether
- 8:29all of this just happens randomly, whether forms come up.
- 8:33And because the forms develop somehow, consciousness is
- 8:38created by matter, which has been a philosophical position
- 8:44taken by many, many people over many years.
- 8:50In fact, there was a theory called the infinite monkey
- 8:53theory that said if you give a monkey infinite time and a
- 8:56typewriter, they're going to recreate all of the works of
- 9:00Shakespeare. OK.
- 9:03And that theory actually held some prevalence because under
- 9:10the laws of random chance that were held by this segment of
- 9:17humanity, of course that is possible.
- 9:20And if there's infinite numbers of universes and infinite
- 9:25possibilities, well, you could say, OK, it could happen.
- 9:29Well, actually a few years ago some scientists and
- 9:33mathematicians in Australia did some research on that and they
- 9:40came out with a mathematical model using the same underlying
- 9:44mathematics that said that a monkey could theoretically do
- 9:50it, but it would take longer than the lifetime of the entire
- 9:54universe for that to happen and therefore it was not a realistic
- 10:01scenario. Then they said, well OK, what
- 10:06happens if we take all 200,000 monkeys that exist on the planet
- 10:11and put them to work sort of serially in parallel to each
- 10:16other? Could they do it faster?
- 10:19And that also didn't work. So I think we can put the
- 10:26infinite monkey theory to bed finally and understand that
- 10:31forms do not create consciousness, but consciousness
- 10:35creates forms. If we look at it, everything we
- 10:41see around us, we don't put up these square boxes with plumbing
- 10:46and electricity and in everything and then say, oh,
- 10:49well, maybe we can live in that. It happens the other way.
- 10:53We say we need a place to live, so let's plan for how to create
- 10:59a space that works for us, for our bodies and our vital
- 11:03energies and our needs. And we build, we design, and
- 11:07then we build houses. So form follows function,
- 11:13planning leads to structure, and consciousness creates the
- 11:18material forms. With that background, we follow
- 11:26what trioral window basically said in in Savitri, and I'll
- 11:33read a very brief passage here. This is the sailor on the flow
- 11:38of time. This is world matters slow
- 11:42discoverer who launched into this small corporeal birth, has
- 11:49learned his craft in tiny bays of self, but dares at last
- 11:54unplumbed infinitudes, a Voyager upon eternity's seas.
- 12:01And so let's voyage with Sri Aurobindo and this sailor
- 12:07through time. So going back to the age of the
- 12:16earth, you could say using carbon dating and various other
- 12:21techniques, scientists say that that's about 4.5 billion years
- 12:28ago. And if we look at the first
- 12:34evidence of life emerging, it took 220 million years for the
- 12:44first signs of life to come out at 4.28 billion.
- 12:48Now please excuse me if you know, I'm taking information
- 12:54from scientists and there's a rounding error here of 20 or 30
- 12:58million years. That's sort of inconsequential
- 13:02in these timelines, so don't hold me to it.
- 13:05That exactly at 4.28 billion years ago, the first signs of
- 13:10life emerged. The first signs of
- 13:14photosynthesis were 3.4 billion years ago, but it was without
- 13:20oxygen and the first evidence of life on land was 3.2 billion
- 13:27years ago. An important step happened 2
- 13:34billion years ago. That's 2 1/2 billion years after
- 13:40the Earth was formed. There was the development or
- 13:44what are called eukaryotic cells.
- 13:48Eukaryotic cells are cells with membranes and a complex internal
- 13:53structure. And that's important because
- 13:56that becomes the basis of all of the beings that we later see
- 14:02emerge. Plants, fungi, animals,
- 14:07everything need this kind of complex cellular structure to
- 14:13create within each cell energy activity and various
- 14:19functionality. So the eukaryotic cells have
- 14:23this internal development and that includes things like
- 14:27mitochondria, which are the energy producing organelles,
- 14:33chloroplasts which in plants are the cells which convert sun
- 14:41energy into their material energy and their ability to
- 14:49create plant forms and also the basis for sexual reproduction
- 14:56eventually. So eukaryotic cells are
- 14:59extremely important back about a billion and a half years ago,
- 15:07that's 500 million years after eukaryotic cells develop, they
- 15:16split into three different forms that became the ancestors of
- 15:23modern plants, animals and fungi.
- 15:30The first recognizable animals 890,000,000 years ago for the
- 15:37power of impulsion, because we always say, well, animals have
- 15:40the power of impulsion, OK, They can move under their own motion
- 15:47565,000,000 years ago or 335,000,000 years after the
- 15:54first recognizable animals. So plants came on land about
- 16:01515,000,000 years ago, animals 500 million years ago and those
- 16:07famous dinosaurs 250 million years ago.
- 16:14Warm blooded proto mammals 233,000,000 years ago.
- 16:21The dinosaurs died off 66,000,000 years ago.
- 16:24Now they were coexistent with these original mammals, but they
- 16:30died off entirely with the asteroid.
- 16:33And what was the 5th planetary die off?
- 16:37And I didn't mention the earlier planetary die offs because these
- 16:41were basically still changes taking place in the earth
- 16:45structure that led to one or another catastrophic changes in
- 16:54the way life evolved. The early primates developed
- 17:01about 55,000,000 years ago, the higher primates 40 million years
- 17:05ago, and the great ape diversification 15 to 17,000,000
- 17:11years ago. And out of that line of
- 17:16development of the great apes between 2 and 2.8 million years
- 17:21ago, the first appearance of the human genus, the Homo genus
- 17:28appeared, and that was not modern man.
- 17:31Modern man, Homo sapiens, I use that term advisedly, appeared
- 17:39about 300,000 years ago, or about two million years after
- 17:45the first human species appeared, and we still share
- 17:5298.4% of the genes with the chimpanzee.
- 18:00After millions and millions of years, about 11,000 years ago,
- 18:06humans came to totally dominate the planet.
- 18:11And right now we're living through the 6th mass extinction
- 18:17event, human induced. And that becomes important
- 18:22because it provides an impetus for what needs to happen next,
- 18:28for the next stage of evolution to occur and for humanity to
- 18:33participate in that. Because we're now in a race
- 18:38between what you might call love and death.
- 18:42Love in the form of the next evolutionary stage, harmonizing
- 18:47all of the disharmonies that we face, and death in the form of
- 18:53the six planetary extinction that can take us with it.
- 18:56So essentially, we're looking at huge spans of time, and Trioro,
- 19:10Bindo and the mother talk about that.
- 19:14People tend to disregard that. They say, oh, the Super mental
- 19:17has been fixed into the consciousness of the Earth.
- 19:20And I've heard people talking about how they're on the way to
- 19:24being super mentalized personally.
- 19:27And I think that's marvelous if they can do it, But it's not
- 19:32according to what Trioro Bindo and the mother have said about
- 19:36that. OK.
- 19:39Each major transition that we've discussed led to changes in
- 19:46consciousness that could manifest.
- 19:49The consciousness needed a new form in order to hold and
- 19:54express that next level of energy, that next level of
- 20:02awareness and so. We see that progression with the
- 20:06timelines, that the times are enormous and we have to keep
- 20:11that in mind. But the line of development is
- 20:16pretty constant. And the way these forms
- 20:19developed, one is through what you might call mutation, where a
- 20:25former form is simply changed. And our friend Charles Darwin
- 20:32tells us that the evolution of forms happens through survival
- 20:36of the fittest and reproduction among those who were the fittest
- 20:40at that level, etcetera. But another way that it happens
- 20:46is through various lines of development, conscious
- 20:51development that join forces at various level and become
- 20:59symbiotic to one another. Now human beings have become
- 21:04symbiotic to plants. We expel carbon dioxide which
- 21:10they need to breathe and the plants expel oxygen which we
- 21:15need to survive. So we are symbiotes, you could
- 21:19say one being with the plants. But it goes even deeper.
- 21:24We talked about eukaryotic cells earlier.
- 21:28Well, one of the interesting things that happened is, and I
- 21:33don't know how deep into science, everybody is gone, but
- 21:36this is what I've spent my last couple of weeks doing.
- 21:39So you'll have to bear with me a little bit on this stuff.
- 21:45The mitochondria, the energy cells within our cells that
- 21:51convert nutrients into ATP, which is the chemical cellular
- 21:56energy that powers every cell in our body.
- 22:00They do not have human DNA, they have bacterial DNA.
- 22:08They are not human cells or cell organelles.
- 22:13They're called. It appears that what happened is
- 22:19that at some point the line of development of beings of
- 22:25bacteria that could convert nutrients into chemical energy,
- 22:30which we call mitochondria, were absorbed into the multicellular
- 22:36Organism, the eukaryotic cells that power plants and animals.
- 22:43And instead of dissolving them, digesting them, we made sort of
- 22:50a treaty with them. And the treaty is we'll keep you
- 22:54alive and give you a nice, comfortable, warm environment to
- 22:58live in, and you create energy for us.
- 23:01Now, scientists say we enslaved these bacteria to us, but I look
- 23:07at it more as a cooperative venture.
- 23:11Very similarly, none of us would be able to digest any food
- 23:17whatsoever if we didn't have a what are called probiotic
- 23:22bacteria in our intestines. We have entire colonies of
- 23:27bacteria that live very comfortably within us and carry
- 23:33out much of the digestive function that we need in order
- 23:37to have the nutrients that create our lives.
- 23:42So we've created another symbiotic relationship with
- 23:46another species, you could say, in order to exist.
- 23:53Interestingly enough, they recently have announced that
- 23:58there is a sea slug in the ocean that is able to do
- 24:07photosynthesis. This is the first animal they
- 24:11found that could do photosynthesis and the way it
- 24:16happens is these sea slugs eat a certain amount of the
- 24:20microscopic plankton or algae whatever it is in the ocean.
- 24:25And instead of digesting the chloroplasts, they incorporate
- 24:31them into their eukaryotic cells and they can go a year without
- 24:38eating again based on the photosynthesis that goes on.
- 24:44Now, you may all wonder where this is going and why we have to
- 24:49go so deep into this, but the next stage of evolution of
- 24:54consciousness requires new forms.
- 24:58And the mother has made that very clear.
- 25:01She's in various places said, well, maybe in the next stage of
- 25:06evolution we're not going to need to eat, or maybe in the
- 25:10next stage of evolution there won't be sexual reproduction.
- 25:15In other words, there are different ways that this can
- 25:19happen. Now, one of those ways is that
- 25:23genes that we have within us right now that are turned off
- 25:28might be turned on. And for example, there are
- 25:33animals out there that can regrow limbs when their limbs
- 25:36have been cut off and their stem cells go to work.
- 25:41They know just what to do and they recreate that limb.
- 25:46Well, those very same genes exist within us, but we're not
- 25:50using them. And so when we lose a limb, it's
- 25:53just we lost a limb and someone goes out and creates one out of
- 25:57metal or plastic or whatever they do and attaches it to you
- 26:02and in hopes that you can do something with that.
- 26:05But we also see these symbiotic relationships develop, and it
- 26:14may be that one of them might be that we incorporate something
- 26:19like photosynthesis into ourselves, just like we
- 26:22incorporated bacteria to run the cellular energy or bacteria to
- 26:29run the digestive system. So if we could do photosynthesis
- 26:35and convert energy directly from the sun, we wouldn't need to
- 26:40eat. Now, there's another way, and
- 26:45that is that people have been studying for many years the
- 26:50movement of energy through what we call the chakras, the energy
- 26:54centers, the the subtle energy centers.
- 26:57And if we can learn how to open those chakras and absorb energy
- 27:02directly, we may not need photosynthesis and we may not
- 27:06need anything else. We may become energy beings.
- 27:09Now this is all speculation, but it's speculation with a purpose,
- 27:16and that is that it is to push us out of our normal everyday
- 27:24way of looking at the world from our own individual egoistic,
- 27:30limited viewpoint and lifetimes. Because evolution doesn't take
- 27:36place within the span of one human's life.
- 27:42Everything we've talked about took 10's and hundreds or
- 27:47billions of years to occur. And so to say we're going to
- 27:53practice this yoga and become super mentalized overnight is
- 27:59not realistic, nor is it what Trioro, Bindo and the mother
- 28:04have to say about it. So we are in a race with time
- 28:12right now, and Trior Bindo gave us an answer.
- 28:18We human beings, as part of the evolution, the manifestation,
- 28:26the unfolding of the universal creation, are now at a stage
- 28:33where we can begin to consciously participate in that
- 28:39evolutionary process. Up until now, the process was
- 28:44driving itself through the Divine's impulsion, through
- 28:47forms that were not self-conscious.
- 28:52Now the Divine is driving that process through forms that can
- 28:56be self-conscious. And by doing that we can begin
- 29:02to consciously participate and support that movement.
- 29:08And as Rio Robindo has mentioned, that means that we
- 29:13could speed up the evolution. Now, when you talk about
- 29:22speeding up the evolution, they don't talk in terms of, I don't
- 29:29know, 50 years, 10 years, 20 years, OK?
- 29:36They talk about hundreds of years, maybe thousands of years,
- 29:41which in itself would be considered a miracle from the
- 29:47side of the evolution of the divine manifestation.
- 29:52And the the real issue we continually run into is we
- 29:58believe that the world revolves around us.
- 30:04It's our yoga. It's our realization, it's our
- 30:08health, it's our Wellness, it's our recognition of things, it's
- 30:14our liberation. But in reality, we are elements
- 30:20of that larger evolutionary process and we can't look at it
- 30:27in terms of one individual achieving realization.
- 30:34We need to look at it in terms of, and I like to use the
- 30:39example of a relay race. OK, you've got four people
- 30:44running a relay race and they run around the track and carry a
- 30:49baton and then they give it to the next person.
- 30:52They carry the baton, the next person carries the baton and
- 30:57it's only the 4th person, whoever reaches the finish line.
- 31:02All the other three were essential to the process of
- 31:06reaching the finish line, but they never get to see the finish
- 31:11line. All they did was carry the baton
- 31:15for a while and move the process forward.
- 31:20And if we shift out of our own egoistic personalities for a
- 31:25moment and look at it from this wider perspective of the
- 31:31consciousness of time and evolution, which is why we spent
- 31:35so much time earlier going through all those steps.
- 31:38I left out a few, but essentially, we are just
- 31:46carrying the baton forward and we may or may not even have
- 31:51realizations. Each one of us has a role to
- 31:56play. As Kundan mentioned at the
- 31:58beginning, it's important. And it's important because in
- 32:05order for the next stage of evolution to develop, there has
- 32:09to be both a texturing of consciousness in general among
- 32:15humanity and a change and updating of the forms that can
- 32:21hold and manifest that new level of consciousness.
- 32:26And a receptivity to that energy which is manifesting doesn't
- 32:32come from us, it comes from the divine.
- 32:36So with that in mind, let's look at what Trioro Bindo and the
- 32:41Mother have to say. And I'm going to read it just a
- 32:43few quotes here from letters on Yoga.
- 32:47Trioro Bindo states it would not be possible to change all that
- 32:52the ordinary life on earth in a moment.
- 32:55We have always said that the whole of humanity will not
- 32:58change the moment there is the descent.
- 33:01But what can be done is to establish the higher principle
- 33:05in the earth consciousness in such a way that it will remain
- 33:10and go on strengthening and spreading itself in the earth
- 33:13life. That is how a new principle in
- 33:17the evolutionary must necessarily work.
- 33:20But what we propose just now is not to make the earth a super
- 33:24mental world, but to bring down the Super mental as a power and
- 33:30establish consciousness in the midst of the rest, to let it
- 33:34work there and fulfill itself as mind descended into life and
- 33:40matter and has worked as a power there to fulfill itself in the
- 33:44midst of the rest. This will be enough to change
- 33:47the world and to change nature by breaking down her present
- 33:52limits. So the descent of the Super mind
- 33:59is not intended to create a patent universal medicine or
- 34:04change everything in the twinkle of an eye.
- 34:06It isn't going to happen, the mother emphasized.
- 34:10The manifestation of the Super mental upon earth is no more a
- 34:14promise, but a living fact, a reality.
- 34:18It is at work here, and one day will come when the most blind,
- 34:24the most unconscious, even the most unwilling shall be obliged
- 34:29to recognize it. And she continues.
- 34:33This great change is the appearance upon earth of a new
- 34:36race, which will be for man what man is for the animal.
- 34:41The consciousness of this new race is already at work upon
- 34:45Earth to enlighten all who are able to receive it and heed it.
- 34:51Now let's say this we're we have a short lifetime.
- 34:57We're very impatient. We want realizations.
- 34:59We want to have our own liberation.
- 35:02We want to have experiences. But some people get that.
- 35:08Many people get that because that's their role.
- 35:12But what about those who are here because some element of
- 35:20human life, some element that is blocking and obstructing this
- 35:27energy simply needs to be worked out.
- 35:31Now they have this famous apocryphal story that Thomas
- 35:36Edison had to fail 1000 times making light bulbs until he got
- 35:40one to work. What if one of us is here to
- 35:46overcome a certain force of desire or a certain limit of the
- 35:51ego, and we never, ever see an experience because we're failing
- 35:56and failing and failing and failing, but moving the baton
- 36:01around the track so that the next generation can pick it up
- 36:08and have a basis for it. It's almost like your monkey #22
- 36:14or #85 in the 100th monkey theory.
- 36:17OK, nobody recognizes that. No one knows anything special
- 36:22has happened. But after that 100th monkey
- 36:25happens and there's enough texturing of the consciousness,
- 36:30things can change and suddenly it becomes a power of all of
- 36:34humanity. And So what we're called upon to
- 36:39do, the individual destiny, is to move beyond our limit within
- 36:48the ego, move beyond our desired ambition to realize, but to try
- 36:59to do whatever we're called upon within our hearts as devotees,
- 37:05as awakened human beings, as aspirants for something greater.
- 37:12Do what we're called upon to do and face all of those obstacles
- 37:17and difficulties and issues and concerns, whether or not we get
- 37:25recognized for it, whether we recognize it within ourselves.
- 37:29We need to keep on keeping on and do it if we can, cheerfully,
- 37:36in spite of the difficulties and the obstacles, and we become the
- 37:43forerunners of that new race. Well, not necessarily
- 37:49participating in that in our lifetimes, because after all,
- 37:56you know, what's 1000 years in the lifetime of the planet, as
- 38:02we saw, it's not even a rounding error. 20 million years is a
- 38:07rounding error. And for this to happen quickly,
- 38:13we need to do a couple things. One is we need to make
- 38:16sufficient changes that we don't destroy ourselves in the
- 38:20interim. And secondly, we need to keep
- 38:24the aspiration alive and growing and radiating within us and
- 38:30around us so that we create the texture and the opportunity for
- 38:38that higher consciousness, that super mental force which is
- 38:41active on the planet to take hold, to disseminate itself and
- 38:51to create the holistic view and the harmony that it is here to
- 38:58resolve. To overcome all of the
- 39:01limitations and gridlock if you will, That the mental
- 39:06consciousness is created to overcome the forces of the mind
- 39:10that have LED us to our 6th planetary extinction event
- 39:17happening right now. So in Savitri, Shrioro Bindo
- 39:24inspires us with his vision of the role of the individual and
- 39:29the transformation process. I saw the omnipotence, flaming
- 39:35pioneers over the heavenly verge which turns towards life, come
- 39:41crowding down the amber stairs of birth, forerunners of a
- 39:46divine multitude out of the paths of the morning star they
- 39:51came into the little room of mortal life.
- 39:57I saw them cross the twilight of an age, the sun eyed children of
- 40:02a marvellous dawn, the great creators with wide brows of
- 40:06calm. The massive barrier Breakers of
- 40:10the world and wrestlers with destiny in her lists of will.
- 40:15The laborers in the quarries of the gods, the messengers of the
- 40:21incommunicable, the architects of immortality.
- 40:28Into the fallen human sphere they came.
- 40:31Faces that wore the immortals glory still, voices that commune
- 40:35still with the thoughts of God. Bodies made beautiful by the
- 40:39spirit's light carrying the magic word, the Mystic fire
- 40:45carrying the Dionysian cup of joy approaching eyes of a
- 40:50diviner man, lips chanting an unknown anthem of the soul.
- 40:54Feet echoing in the corridors of time.
- 40:59High priests of wisdom, sweetness, might and bliss,
- 41:05Discoverers of beauty, sunlit ways and swimmers of Love's
- 41:09laughing. Fiery floods and dancers within
- 41:13raptures. Golden doors their tread one day
- 41:17shall change the suffering earth and justify the light on
- 41:22nature's face. Thank you, Santosh, so much to
- 41:48absorb and thank you for taking us on the journey of evolution
- 41:56and talking about, you know, our not only our existence, but even
- 42:03our evolution needs to be symbiotic and what has been done
- 42:11earlier needs to be incorporated so that we can develop further.
- 42:17And this is very evident in how the organisms have responded to
- 42:22evolution in the past that, you know, gave us a lot of evidence
- 42:29for your persuasion. I hope you are turning this into
- 42:34a book, you know, which is, which is absolutely fun,
- 42:37beautiful in the sense that, you know, it challenges the dominant
- 42:45evolutionary theory of Darwin, which is the survival of the
- 42:50fittest. And I personally feel that the
- 42:53survival of the fittest can only cause conflicts and disharmony
- 42:58in the world. And that's not a very good place
- 43:00to be. So, you know, the same data can
- 43:04actually be interpreted from a different theoretical framework,
- 43:09which can be beautiful for the humanity.
- 43:13It's not, it's not the survival of the fittest, but it is a some
- 43:18a symbiotic association and relationship amongst organisms
- 43:23which has caused our evolution. It is evident from what has
- 43:29transpired in the in the past. So as we dwell on this beautiful
- 43:36topic, I want to open the floor for others to come in, make
- 43:41their comments and pose questions if they have any.
- 43:48Yes, Arunjit, please. Hi Santosh, it was an excellent
- 43:53talk. I enjoyed your description of
- 43:56the evolution and a lot of the scientific facts.
- 44:00While you were talking, I was remembering an author I don't
- 44:04know how many people know here. His name is Peter Russell.
- 44:09He has written the Physicist. I think in the 90s he wrote a
- 44:13book called Global Brain Awakens.
- 44:16I read that long back. I think I still have a copy.
- 44:19So in that he connects with some of the facts you were telling in
- 44:25the beginning, then looking at all the living beings and living
- 44:29organisms. And if you look at the earth,
- 44:32earth itself is a living Organism because it knows how to
- 44:37men obtain the percentage of oxygen at a constant level, but
- 44:42to support the life and in a way self sustain.
- 44:46So from that point he develops and then the whole solar system
- 44:50is a living Organism, whole universe is a living Organism.
- 44:55And he connects that with Upanishadic statements.
- 44:58In fact he he is he is one of the book is translated
- 45:01Upanishads also with somebody else.
- 45:04So that is an interesting development in terms of
- 45:10evolution there. One more, the question I was
- 45:15asking is when we look at the global warming and the facts you
- 45:21mentioned about reduction in biodiversity, it looks like it
- 45:28is, it is engendered by human activities.
- 45:32So in that respect, it looks like the collective
- 45:34consciousness is coming down because humanity as a whole is
- 45:39not able to look at those facts or look able to maintain the
- 45:46biodiversity which is created by nature in billions of years.
- 45:52So with that fact, when in that book Global Brain Awakens, Peter
- 45:56Rosa shows a chart that if you look at humanity in the last 50
- 46:00years, there's a chart in the last 25 years, the consciousness
- 46:04level is rising very fast. I was wondering, is that really
- 46:08true? Because the way things are
- 46:10happening last 50 years at least global warming and you know,
- 46:16reduction of biodiversity is going the opposite direction.
- 46:19So what do you comment on that? Well, you know, last night I
- 46:24looked out the window and I saw the moon.
- 46:26I said, oh, the moon is half full.
- 46:30And my wife said, why did you say it was half full and not
- 46:34half empty? I said, because I'm an optimist.
- 46:38So looking at it this way every, I mean, let let's start from our
- 46:46own lives. If everything is wonderful and
- 46:49peaceful and joyful, we tend to sit back and relax and enjoy it
- 46:54and say, well, that's cool, OK. It's only when we're put under
- 47:00stress of having to deal with a situation that we Marshall our
- 47:04resources, focus the consciousness and take steps to
- 47:08fix it. So the mental evolution has its
- 47:13benefits up to a certain point, and when it reaches a certain
- 47:18stage, it reaches its own limits, its limitations, and you
- 47:24get to what we call gridlock, where nothing can move and no
- 47:28solutions can come out. And we're stuck in all the
- 47:32problems we've created with our unintended consequences.
- 47:37That becomes, to me a sign of the crisis that humanity needs
- 47:46to now solve. And if it wasn't for that
- 47:50crisis, we would not be taking the steps that we're taking, and
- 47:54we wouldn't take them as effectively and as urgently as
- 47:59we're going to take them, as we are taking them.
- 48:01So to me, this is part of the process.
- 48:06Sri Aurobindo talks about the thesis and the antithesis
- 48:10leading to a new synthesis. And so if the thesis is the mind
- 48:15and the antithesis is the gridlock and limitations of the
- 48:19mind, the synthesis is to develop a new super observer, if
- 48:25you will. I used this example recently
- 48:28with someone and it went right into their brains.
- 48:32I said there's a famous experiment about 5 different
- 48:36people who observe an automobile accident from different angles
- 48:42and they all have different stories what caused it, how it
- 48:44happened, whatever. And I said they're all going to
- 48:48argue with each other. However, there's that sixth
- 48:52person who's sitting six stories up in a building observing the
- 48:57five observers and the accident, who can integrate the positions
- 49:01of the other five and find the solution as to what caused the
- 49:05accident, because they can see it from a different, totally
- 49:10different, higher perspective. So when humanity reaches
- 49:14gridlock, when we reach this stage where everything we're
- 49:18doing is destroying that biodiversity, it's really time
- 49:25for a new consciousness and a focus and an urgency towards a
- 49:29new consciousness to come out. Now, as I said at the beginning,
- 49:34I'm an optimist. There are pessimists who just
- 49:36say we're going to destroy ourselves and it's all going to
- 49:40just go away and we'll have to wait for the next incarnation of
- 49:45the next Yuga to bring forward a new civilization and start all
- 49:52over again. Well, that's what a pessimist
- 49:55might say, but I'm an optimist. Yeah, thank you.
- 50:02Yeah, I think just at the the biodiversity reduction, it is
- 50:06mind boggling. I think every I forget the
- 50:09number every day something a thousands of species are gone
- 50:13every day. And some of that may be the
- 50:16intended process of nature and some of that may be because
- 50:21there has always been a certain amount of that.
- 50:24And some of that may be resulting from human caused
- 50:30changes. And we need to then adapt to
- 50:33that and find out what the next phase is.
- 50:37I mean, are we intended to be pure energy beings and not have
- 50:42a food chain under us? And maybe all these animals that
- 50:47provided a food chain and all these plants that provided a
- 50:50food chain are totally unnecessary and we're going to
- 50:53go into becoming pure energy? Well, OK, well, maybe that's
- 50:58some people would say that's where we're heading.
- 51:00I don't quite believe that, but who knows?
- 51:04You know, we can all speculate. I want to bring in an important
- 51:09piece of information here. You know, people who follow yoga
- 51:18of of any kind, you know, have this understanding that the
- 51:22yogi's, the genuine ones that is, develop the capacity to look
- 51:28into the past, present and the future simultaneously.
- 51:33The Mother and Sherbinder definitely have that capacity.
- 51:40And in terms of world affairs, Sri Arvinder has made certain
- 51:45predictions. You know, in fact, during the
- 51:47Second World War, as he was holding discussions with his
- 51:50disciples, he would make some immediate predictions and they
- 51:56came true. So one of his predictions is
- 51:59that there would be a Third World War.
- 52:05And in that Third World War, you know, there would be an axis of
- 52:12communist China with some Islamic nations who would attack
- 52:18India. And it seems that, you know,
- 52:21that things are sort of unfolding in that direction.
- 52:26Now. This was just a prelude to what
- 52:29I want to say. Now.
- 52:32There is a particular text, you know, which was written about
- 52:35600 years ago by some practitioners in Puri who have
- 52:46spoken about certain world events that would begin to
- 52:53unfold after 29th March 2005, 2025.
- 53:02And these have been captured in the text called Bhavishya
- 53:09Mallika Puran. You know it's one of the Puranas
- 53:12and Bhavishya basically means the future amongst many things.
- 53:20What has been what what has been predicted is that all the five
- 53:25elements of the nature for the next 6-7 years would become
- 53:33very, very active and they would cause destruction in the world.
- 53:40We are seeing, you know, these wildfires already.
- 53:47We are seeing storms, you know, where none occurred before.
- 53:51We are seeing floods where none occurred before.
- 53:57So, you know, as per this text, there's a transition, a massive
- 54:051 at that, which is in the process.
- 54:11Maybe, you know, this is one of the ways in which the nature is
- 54:15going to set things right. And interestingly, this text
- 54:21also talks about the Third World War.
- 54:27It has named countries which certainly did not exist, you
- 54:34know, 600 years ago. It's pretty fascinating.
- 54:40So, you know, the the reason why I brought this into the mix is
- 54:47because the text also says that the people who would have a good
- 54:57spiritual practice would transition to the next phase in
- 55:04evolution. So let's watch out for these
- 55:11seven years. And you know, and I have been
- 55:14observing data in terms of those predictions and the predictions
- 55:20are coming true. Actually they are unfolding.
- 55:24So there is this consistency between the predictions and what
- 55:28has been unfolding since the 29th of March 2025.
- 55:34Well, that's fascinating, Yeah. And you know the passage that I
- 55:39read at the end from Savitri, the preface to that is a giant
- 55:46dance of Shiva tore the past. There was a Thunder as of worlds
- 55:50that fall. Earth was or run with fire and
- 55:53the roar of death clamoring to slay a world his hunger had
- 55:57made. There was a clangor of
- 56:00destructions wings. The Titans battle cry was in my
- 56:03ears. Alarm and rumor shook the
- 56:06armored knight. And then I saw the omnipotence
- 56:12flaming pioneers. So there is some precedence for
- 56:18what you're saying in in Savitri as well, that these things are
- 56:24part of the necessary pressure because we don't change
- 56:29historically, we don't change without pressure.
- 56:35Yeah, sorry. I see that your hand is up.
- 56:42Please come in. Yeah.
- 56:45Well, first in regard to what you just said, Kundan and
- 56:50Santosh's first description of the periods of time 1 can't help
- 56:57but note that each subsequent change came in a very, very much
- 57:05shorter period. So we need to keep that in mind
- 57:09as we show patience. But but my, my, my question went
- 57:17to well, in your Savitri quote, there was God's laborers read
- 57:22that we are God's laborers or divine laborers.
- 57:27And we, we need in addition to working for realizations to
- 57:33understand all this, the these processes.
- 57:39I, I feel that our responsibility is to take action
- 57:43in this world. That person up on the 5th floor
- 57:48observing it, it wouldn't mean anything unless he utilized it
- 57:54in some way, unless he, he acted in, in the, in the world.
- 57:58So there's a lot of tremendous amount of Thomas and in, in the
- 58:07inertia in, in, in our actions in the world.
- 58:11We, as so many of us stand by and, and and watch.
- 58:16So would would you in this context of, of your talk, could
- 58:22you speak to our responsibility for action, taking action in
- 58:28this world with discernment, of course, but as best we can, but,
- 58:34but we need to act to, to, to make things happen.
- 58:38You know, participating in, well, this, this group is an
- 58:42exception, but for participating in study groups and, and, and
- 58:48talking about things all the time and, and going on to the
- 58:52next study group without acting in the world.
- 58:56And is, is doesn't seem like enough or it isn't enough.
- 59:02So would you could you speak to what I'm trying to get at here?
- 59:07Sure, you know I've I've never been known for being inactive
- 59:13so. I guess you could.
- 59:17But actually, I take a somewhat nuanced view of this, if you
- 59:23will. If somebody is called upon
- 59:28because you know, there's, there's like 8 billion people on
- 59:30the planet, everybody is called upon to do different things.
- 59:35We're not all called upon to do the same things all the time.
- 59:39So some people, if they're able to become inwardly receptive to
- 59:45change the energetic flow, to overcome certain forces of ego
- 59:50and desire within themselves and to radiate that force out, that
- 59:57may be more valuable to help texture the consciousness and
- 1:00:03create the change. Then someone going out and
- 1:00:05running a food kitchen or helping sick people or whatever,
- 1:00:09which all needs to get done. But within the context that I
- 1:00:15think in one of his aphorisms, Sri Aurobindo pointed out that
- 1:00:18the French Revolution occurred because a Yogi in the Himalayas
- 1:00:22in a cave was meditating on freedom.
- 1:00:26And so action needs to be seen as possibly being very subtle.
- 1:00:33And I, I try not to judge people based on their outward form of
- 1:00:39action, but on really let them do what they need to do, what
- 1:00:46they're moved to do, what baton they're meant to carry in that
- 1:00:50relay race, whether or not they're out there invisible and,
- 1:00:54and doing something that we think is from our viewpoint
- 1:00:59essential. So there's both.
- 1:01:01And hopefully there's plenty of volunteers to do each of those
- 1:01:06steps so that they all get done. Yes.
- 1:01:09And and that's that's why I use the word discernment because we,
- 1:01:14we each have to try to do our best to discern what we are
- 1:01:18called to do, what our, what our, what our task is.
- 1:01:23And of course, that's that's the big, the big challenge we we
- 1:01:28face That's that's the task. Yeah, thank you.
- 1:01:33If. I may add, you know, to this
- 1:01:35ongoing conversation. I also feel that apart from Ego
- 1:01:40and Thomas, the kind of yoga that we are invited to do
- 1:01:48experiences a lot of hostility to truth, you know, and I am
- 1:01:58getting to realize that the only way to defeat those forces is by
- 1:02:04increasing the quality of our own yoga, because those forces
- 1:02:10are very, very strong. You know, I have, I have
- 1:02:13experienced them quite extensively, you know, because
- 1:02:18my area of transition or transformation, if you will, you
- 1:02:24know, has been India and you know, for, for, for, for the
- 1:02:31last thousand years or so, the kind of void that was created in
- 1:02:34India because of external forces.
- 1:02:37There has been a massive suction, you know, of hostile
- 1:02:45forces, you know, to, to the to the civilization, to, to its
- 1:02:52original civilization, if you will.
- 1:02:55And in order to transform all of that, you know, I personally
- 1:03:02feel that it requires, it requires very sophisticated yoga
- 1:03:07on my part. And so, you know, the focus come
- 1:03:13keeps coming back to me. You know, if I'm able to raise
- 1:03:16my own yoga, maybe I will be able to deal with those with
- 1:03:19those forces. But if I don't do that, you
- 1:03:22know, those forces will prevail. I wish, you know, we're just ego
- 1:03:27And Thomas, you know, they're, they're forces far more
- 1:03:31sinister. So yes, Margaret, you know.
- 1:03:37I'm going to be following up something that you were saying
- 1:03:41there, Kunda. This would it came from the Sri
- 1:03:47Rabindo society, but it was a discussion about equanimity and
- 1:03:55Sri Rabindo was saying kind of along what you were saying,
- 1:04:00Santosh, that with equanimity it's, you know, very important
- 1:04:05to have equanimity. But is that enough, right.
- 1:04:10And he was saying bringing in, of course, the Gita, where it's
- 1:04:16clear that it is one must fight the forces.
- 1:04:22And you were talking about this Kundan, those forces.
- 1:04:26And Andrew Rabinow says something like the forces that
- 1:04:31would darken or or obliterate the truth or hurt the children
- 1:04:37of light. He's very direct, very similar
- 1:04:41to what you're saying, Kundan. And so again, it is nuanced, but
- 1:04:49it's also being clear eyed about what our mission is, that is to
- 1:05:00serve the truth or to radiate and support the forces of truth.
- 1:05:05So anyway, it's interesting that we're coming all coming at this
- 1:05:10and saying very similar things. Yes, Finchman, you're you're on
- 1:05:24mute. Please unmute yourself.
- 1:05:29Please unmute yourself. Yes, thank you.
- 1:05:31Thank you. Yeah, I'm a new face here.
- 1:05:36Welcome. I'm glad that you have started
- 1:05:38joining us. Yeah.
- 1:05:40Thank you very much. I really appreciate this group
- 1:05:45and actually I graduated with my PhD in East West psychology
- 1:05:50about 2-3 years ago. And then actually I'm writing a
- 1:05:55book in Mandarin and I talk about the integral yoga
- 1:06:01psychology and I use the so we're about talk about the
- 1:06:10centric concentric conscious system and a vertical system and
- 1:06:18a triple transformation. Yeah, I use this totality of
- 1:06:22human consciousness as the theoretical foundation for the
- 1:06:27inner child work, actual actualizing our essential child.
- 1:06:33So because I read the ceramic talk about the natural attitude
- 1:06:38on the psychical being, is it to fear itself as a child, the son
- 1:06:43of the God and the bhakti, it is a portion of the divine one in
- 1:06:48essence. So I just put it, you say that
- 1:06:52the inner child work to actualize our descent child.
- 1:06:59So to today's lecture, I would like to get some feedback to see
- 1:07:04if I understand it right. I heard that talk about the
- 1:07:10symbolic symbiotic relationship and can we look at the from the
- 1:07:21central being to two being and the inner being?
- 1:07:27Outer being is the different different portion of our
- 1:07:32consciousness which is in the unity of the oneness of the of
- 1:07:40our consciousness. And all these different portions
- 1:07:46are in the symbiotic relationship with each other
- 1:07:54because if the form is the manifestation of the
- 1:08:01formlessness, so and so the individual psychic being and or
- 1:08:11child in a child is an expression manifestation of the
- 1:08:18original measure. Yeah.
- 1:08:21And the if the physical vital and mental being and the
- 1:08:29spiritual aspect of us, they are also symbiotic relationship with
- 1:08:37each other as one is of the consciousness.
- 1:08:43And because I create some guiding meditation in Mandarin,
- 1:08:49for sure, I'm not so competent with my English.
- 1:08:52That's why I'm when I'm talking, I'll be able to be stressed.
- 1:08:56Yeah, so and I created some guiding meditation in Mandarin
- 1:09:03to to guiding from the our original matter and connecting
- 1:09:16with our essential child and the vulnerable child and our
- 1:09:23protective child, which is our outer personality for sure.
- 1:09:29So when I create this is I'm the the intention for me is to try
- 1:09:38to create the connection in between our different parts of
- 1:09:45consciousness and create the linkage and Harmons, harmonies,
- 1:09:52harmony, Harmon harmony in US. So I would like to get her to be
- 1:10:01feedback because I cannot find any because that's right in
- 1:10:06Mandarin. And I don't know where I can get
- 1:10:08a support to make sure what I'm doing is in the in the direction
- 1:10:15which match to the through indoor teaching.
- 1:10:21Yeah. Yeah, Santosh, please.
- 1:10:23Well, thank you. I'm very appreciative of what
- 1:10:28you're trying to do. And the idea you bring in that
- 1:10:33the different parts of the being, the physical, the vital,
- 1:10:37the mental and the spiritual are symbiotic to one another is, you
- 1:10:42know, a very interesting paradigm.
- 1:10:45Because they each have their own framework of how they function
- 1:10:51and what they do. And each of them has to be
- 1:10:55adapted when the next phase becomes active because they need
- 1:11:01to find how to live together, so to be, so to speak, in one
- 1:11:05being. And that's that symbiotic
- 1:11:08relationship. And it's more or less what we
- 1:11:11were talking about. When the new phase of
- 1:11:13consciousness comes in, it needs to make adjustments to the
- 1:11:18physical, the vital, and the mental beings so that it can
- 1:11:25take hold and radiate and bring a new level of harmony and
- 1:11:30integration into these different parts that right now are not
- 1:11:35functioning well together in certain ways.
- 1:11:38So I like your paradigm and I hope you keep developing this.
- 1:11:45I know it's difficult to do this in English for you, but I think
- 1:11:52I picked up what you were trying to say and I very much
- 1:11:55appreciate that. Thank you very much.
- 1:11:59And I would like to say that I, I use this model in the in the
- 1:12:05work because I'm working with people in in China or in Taiwan.
- 1:12:11Now I don't have many clients yet because I still focus on
- 1:12:14writing, but I I do some do some work and. 11 very good resource
- 1:12:21for you would be this compilation by Doctor AES de Lal
- 1:12:28called our many selves. You know, so these different
- 1:12:34aspects that you were talking about, these different aspects
- 1:12:37of the outer personalities, how they can be integrated around
- 1:12:43the central being, you know, which is the psychic being is
- 1:12:47very beautifully explicated, you know, in in that collection our
- 1:12:52many selves. Our.
- 1:12:56Many and if you want to. Get if you want to get access to
- 1:12:59that. The blog that we do daily that
- 1:13:04Kundan gave in the announcement has a folder called Our Many
- 1:13:11Selves and we went page by page through that book with the
- 1:13:18citations from each page and a discussion about it.
- 1:13:23So it's available to you free of charge just to go out there.
- 1:13:28Of course it's in English, but some of the translation engines
- 1:13:32may help you. I did some work with ChatGPT and
- 1:13:37it's not perfect, but it's better than not having a
- 1:13:41translation at all so. I can read the English no
- 1:13:46problem, It's just like time for me to write and to follow.
- 1:13:50Up, of course. Yeah.
- 1:13:52Well, if you go out to the blog, Sri
- 1:13:56orobindostudies.wordpress.com, on the right side there are a
- 1:14:02number of folders for different books that we've done the study
- 1:14:06on. And one of those is our Many
- 1:14:08Cells by the compilation by Doctor Dalal from Srioro Bindu
- 1:14:13and the Mother's Works. And every page of that book is
- 1:14:18set forth day after day with a commentary.
- 1:14:22So it's available to you wherever you are.
- 1:14:27OK. Sure.
- 1:14:28Very good, Very good. Thank you so much.
- 1:14:31Yeah. You're welcome.
- 1:14:35You're welcome. More comments, Questions.
- 1:14:40So I have one more question. The so like what I'm I'm I'm
- 1:14:48doing to create a linkage between different parts of
- 1:14:53consciousness. I look at it in a way is to
- 1:14:59integrate the concentric system, another vertical system, and I
- 1:15:11mean psychical transformation and a spiritual transformation
- 1:15:16and the Super mental transformation because the most
- 1:15:23the most center is I use the the original matter, the source of
- 1:15:28our life and I interpreted it as the father serial original talk
- 1:15:34about the define matter. It's the the origin of our life
- 1:15:40and so it's kind of bringing the use our mental.
- 1:15:44It's still in a mental plan, I understand, but we we exercise
- 1:15:49our mental plan plan to to awaken our super mental
- 1:15:57consciousness and bring into connection with the the
- 1:16:02different parts of our consciousness.
- 1:16:05So it's a can I look at it as a a part of the Super mental
- 1:16:11transformation? Yeah, Santosh.
- 1:16:18Yes. So I, I think the approach
- 1:16:21you're taking is obviously helpful in what you're doing.
- 1:16:26The new energy that has fixed itself into the earth
- 1:16:31consciousness, the Super mental force is slowly working or
- 1:16:37quickly working if you will. And it's so you, you might call
- 1:16:41geographic time scale, not human time scale, to modify to, in
- 1:16:52integrate and to harmonize the mental, the vital and the
- 1:16:56physical levels so that they can hold that force and express that
- 1:17:02force. It's a, it's a harmonizing
- 1:17:04process like you're talking about.
- 1:17:07And so anything that's done to widen the mental being and the
- 1:17:13vital and physical being, to accept a new energy, a new
- 1:17:20force, a new understanding, and to find a way to harmonize its
- 1:17:25action is very helpful. If you know, if I may add to
- 1:17:31this, I actually teach a course on Shirvinder's Integral Yoga at
- 1:17:37Sofia University and one of the books that I use for this
- 1:17:41purpose is this compilation by Doctor Dalal called The Greater
- 1:17:46Psychology. Now, if there's one area, you
- 1:17:50know, where I do not agree with him and I personally feel that,
- 1:17:53you know that he makes my work very difficulties by
- 1:17:58representing these planes, you know, in A2 dimensional and
- 1:18:04three-dimensional manner. The the mother has spoken on
- 1:18:08this, you know, quite a few times where she says that, you
- 1:18:12know, there's more to the four dimensions that we have come to
- 1:18:17know and realize. And all these planes, you know,
- 1:18:22are certainly not arranged in a two or three-dimensional manner.
- 1:18:27Because see, what happens is that you know that when you
- 1:18:29begin to visualize these planes in an hierarchical fashion, you
- 1:18:35know, particularly when you look at this care, the staircase
- 1:18:38model that he has created, you begin to invite this, this
- 1:18:46entire diatribe, you know, of academia as far as hierarchy is
- 1:18:53concerned. And unfortunately, you know, Ken
- 1:18:57Wilber has contributed massively to this problem, which does not
- 1:19:04really exist in the world view of the mother and Shivar Bindar,
- 1:19:09you know. So yes, these planes are there,
- 1:19:14We can, we can go till there. But these planes are not
- 1:19:19arranged in A2 dimensional or a three-dimensional manner.
- 1:19:24In order, you know, to really know and experience how these
- 1:19:27planes are placed, we will basically need to develop a
- 1:19:31yogic vision in us. All that we can do at this point
- 1:19:35in time is to know that you know that these are distinct planes
- 1:19:40in our existence. They have certain
- 1:19:43characteristics. They influence our consciousness
- 1:19:47in distinct ways. And by becoming aware of, you
- 1:19:51know, of, of their characteristics, we can work on
- 1:19:57their transformation. But if we begin to get into
- 1:20:01this, you know, into this binary of whether these planes are
- 1:20:06placed in an hierarchical fashion or, you know, or they're
- 1:20:09on a, on a flat plain, there will be a problem.
- 1:20:14You know, since you're a student at the East West Psychology
- 1:20:17department, you know, you have, you have one framework or
- 1:20:22paradigm. In integral psychology at this
- 1:20:26point in time, which is coming from Ken Wilber, you know, which
- 1:20:29is which is hierarchical and then you have this framework of
- 1:20:34participatory, you know, practice coming from fairer.
- 1:20:40And very unfortunately, you know these two frameworks are at war
- 1:20:44with the with the with each other.
- 1:20:47And when you look at the framework of Mother and Sherwin,
- 1:20:51though, there basically is no conflict whatsoever.
- 1:20:55You know, this yoga has been participatory right from the
- 1:21:01very beginning, you know, right from its very inception.
- 1:21:06And the planes have a certain kind of an arrangement, but they
- 1:21:11are certainly not hierarchical in a three-dimensional manner.
- 1:21:16So once again, you know, the ignorance of human beings have
- 1:21:19basically invaded this this beautiful cosmology that has
- 1:21:25actually been presented to us. So I would say, you know, my
- 1:21:28suggestion to you is if you can set aside, you know, these two
- 1:21:33frameworks and not get into them, it will be better, you
- 1:21:37know, so. Well, I'll add one thing to
- 1:21:41that, and that's that scientists recently found out that they
- 1:21:46could do something with light to touch 37 dimensions at one time.
- 1:21:53And if you read in the titanium Upanishad, the what I call the
- 1:21:59calculus of bliss, human bliss is at the bottom of that range.
- 1:22:05And then there's like 10 or 12 ranges above that of further
- 1:22:11integrated planes or beings or forces, whatever that are far
- 1:22:16beyond our human perception. And so the human being tends to,
- 1:22:23with the mental forces, we get to gridlock, we get to arguments
- 1:22:29and fighting and positions that we take, but we need to move
- 1:22:34beyond that. And the Super mental force is
- 1:22:37meant to harmonize all those different views into a
- 1:22:43comprehensive holistic view that is not argumentative but
- 1:22:49integrative. Yeah, sometimes I don't use the,
- 1:22:58the the original model essential model supplemental consciousness
- 1:23:04because it just doesn't happen at that moment.
- 1:23:07Then I don't, I don't use it and I I use it only when I feel
- 1:23:12there is something and kind of isn't kind of a timing.
- 1:23:18Then I, you then, then I try to do a little bit doesn't remind
- 1:23:24how, how, how is the original mother was said to you.
- 1:23:28This is a hurtful child. And then sometimes you just
- 1:23:33click and something harmonized, nourished and something changed
- 1:23:39something just kind of something kind of a repaired the outer
- 1:23:44personality get repaired. So sometimes it happens,
- 1:23:48sometimes it's not, but isn't it doesn't matter.
- 1:23:52I I just follow the floor. OK, on that note, why don't we
- 1:24:01have brief meditation and then we'll break a very brief
- 1:24:05meditation. You know, let's go inside focus.
- 1:25:18Thank you very much Santosh for this beautiful presentation we
- 1:25:24have. We have absolutely made our day.
- 1:25:27Enjoy the rest of the day, all of you.
- 1:25:29Thank you very much. Thank you everyone for joining.
- 1:25:32US. Thank you, Santosh.
- 1:25:34All of your contributions. Thank you very much, Santosh.
- 1:25:39Good to see you everyone.
