- 0:09Woo, and today we got a good one because you know what I said,
- 0:12and I said we are on a mission, and for the first time in the history of this
- 0:17legendary podcast, because I want to implement everything we're doing,
- 0:21all that, I'm a one-man wrecking crew.
- 0:24Woo, can I get a hell yeah? Hell yeah, let's go. And we got it first time We
- 0:29got a score We got a sports score Podcast in a sense And what better way than
- 0:34To introduce On this beautiful podcast Because we doing all,
- 0:39We doing it all That's why you got to hit that like Mind, comment,
- 0:42share We got to talk about it.
- 0:45Subscribe All that good stuff Because when you're talking When you're listening to my podcast,
- 0:50Oh man, you're listening to A lot of good things That's going to make you feel
- 0:54good And today I'm waking up Good because I'm a New York Yankee fan,
- 0:58and yesterday, the New York Yankees beat the Boston.
- 1:01They eat it, eat it, despise Boston Red Sox.
- 1:08We beat them four to zip to win the series, two games to one in the American League wildcard.
- 1:14And whoo, whoo, what a good one. We got it. Feel good to get that W against
- 1:18those Boston Heat and Red Sox fans.
- 1:21You know, I just want to say, and I'm a big Yankee fan. I'm a Yankee fan. Woo, let's go.
- 1:27I actually attended the 2009, our last World Series, game six against Philadelphia,
- 1:33against Pedro Martinez. I attended that game, and guess what? We won the World Series.
- 1:38That's the last time we won a World Series, 2009. Come on, Yankees.
- 1:42Let that last night game, let us, you know, remind that who we were at one point
- 1:48and why we are the best team ever.
- 1:51One of the most famous sports teams in America and in the world, the New York Yankees.
- 1:56And get those Boston Red Sox. Get out of here. Get out of here. Let's go.
- 2:00It was a good W. A lot of players stepped in. The Volpe's, the Chalice, Jazz Chisholm.
- 2:08I'm sorry. I apologize for that name. You know what I mean? Some of the good players.
- 2:12The Giancarlos, you know, the one person. Once again, Mr. Judge, Aaron Judge. Come on.
- 2:18The smile is on you, my young brother. You're the Capitan.
- 2:22But you know what? I take these wins. We won two games to one.
- 2:27The fact that Cam Schindler, the rookie, out of nowhere, came with 12 strikes
- 2:33out, which my understanding is the rookie for the playoff debut for rookie pitcher.
- 2:39And it's funny because the Yankees scored four runs in the fourth inning and
- 2:44some clutch hitting Ahmed, Jazz, Chisholm. I like Jazz.
- 2:48I like him. He's a very emotional player, you know. He belongs in the Yankees.
- 2:53But sometimes, you know, sometimes his emotion gets out of the best out of him.
- 2:57But, hey, we're neither here or there. We won.
- 3:00And the fact that, you know, Cam did their thing. And when we scored those four
- 3:03runs, you kind of felt like there was something in the air.
- 3:06We can't let this person get that. We can't. Twelve strikes out.
- 3:09We can't let this Cam. We can't let them down.
- 3:12And the Yankees and Aaron Boone did a good job at coaching. You know,
- 3:16when we lost game one Three to one I was one of those people And many New York
- 3:22Yankee fans And many people who follow sports Said, you know,
- 3:25Aaron Boone just don't have it.
- 3:27He's one of those analytical kind of coaches, you know, all about those numbers.
- 3:31But I want to say, you know what? Play the damn game. Let them play the damn game.
- 3:37I remember when Aaron Boone years ago, years ago, when, you know,
- 3:41there was this rookie empire calling strikes and balls when they were not supposed
- 3:45to. And what did Aaron Boone did?
- 3:48He went to the young kid and say, listen, I got you, but we got savages in the play. We got savages.
- 3:54And that's what Aaron Boone needs to do.
- 3:58Coach, and let them play the game. Play ball. Just play ball.
- 4:02You know, forget about these two outs, two strikes.
- 4:05The wing is going left. The flag is going right.
- 4:08There's dust in the air. 6.35 p.m., whatever.
- 4:13You know, stop with those analytical numbers for once and just coach and let them play.
- 4:20And yesterday was one of those days. He let Cam do the camp thing because you
- 4:25ain't going to get those things,
- 4:26Especially in this side of Yankee Because the New York Yankees We have known
- 4:31To you know Splurge on the free agency And sometimes these are game threes That
- 4:36are kind of left for those Free agents that we picked up Where we paid,
- 4:4130 million dollars But no Yankee player Rookie,
- 4:45Straight from the farms Or the farms Or the farms Or the system of the Yankees
- 4:50Whatever it is Wherever we got them It came clutch Kind of remind me of the
- 4:55days of El Duque Hernandez.
- 4:57Well, he was a so-called rookie. Now, I say a so-called rookie because,
- 5:01you know, he played pro leagues in Cuba, and he did his thing.
- 5:04But the fact that we were playing, when was it?
- 5:091997, I believe. 97, if I'm not mistaken, 98.
- 5:14I believe it was 1998 we were playing Cleveland Indians. At that time,
- 5:18it was called the Cleveland Indians.
- 5:19You know, it's not the Guardians, the Indians. Woo, woo, woo, let's go.
- 5:23Two games to one, we were losing. and El Duque comes in under clutch,
- 5:28wins a game, and the rest is history.
- 5:31We became World Series champions, and perhaps, perhaps,
- 5:36now that we are facing our rivals, our division rivals, one of our heated rivals,
- 5:42come and go, come along, but they are across somewhere in Canada.
- 5:46I'm not going to say somewhere in Canada. It's actually Toronto.
- 5:49They call it Blue Jays. I've seen a Blue Jays before. Life, beautiful bird,
- 5:52but this team, you got to whip them.
- 5:54We got to whip them for whatever they did on the regular season.
- 5:57Once again, the Yankees for the zip against the Heat and Red Sox.
- 6:02And let me tell you something.
- 6:03I remember a long time ago, I wanted to visit Boston. I wanted to go to Fenway
- 6:08Park, Historic, all that good stuff.
- 6:10And I remember 2003, Aaron Boom, game six, hit that home run.
- 6:15We go to the World Series against the Marlins and we don't win nothing.
- 6:19But yet, you know I always say one of the most overrated Yankee moments having Boone.
- 6:25Game seven, home run, extra eight-inch. He got the job because of that.
- 6:30He became a Yankee legend because of that. Got into the booth, got into coaching.
- 6:34But then next year, what happened? We played Boston again. Winning three games to zero. It's over.
- 6:41That's it. And at that time, I thought that, you know, the Boston-Yankee rivalry was a one-sided.
- 6:46I always thought that was one of the most overrated rivalries.
- 6:51But then when Boston came back Four games to zero Historic in baseball Never
- 6:56done Won the worst series Which I think I guess that would be the good thing
- 7:01Because at least they actually beat And they won on a roll But they won the worst series,
- 7:05And that's a story that I'm like We will forever hear that story You know what?
- 7:12I don't even want to go to Boston anymore I wanted to go to Boston Sam Adams,
- 7:17Rory, Flanway All that good stuff But I'm good But ever since that playoff series
- 7:23where we lost four games to the three.
- 7:26Game seven, bloody socks, Pedro Martinez, they came back, big poppy,
- 7:31hitting home runs against Mariano, whatever he did.
- 7:34Hey, I ain't trying to go to Boston. Unless if I got some bitches to do there, but I'm good.
- 7:41Fan way, nah, nah.
- 7:44The only fan way I could go is my way out of fan. And I ain't even going,
- 7:48going close. What the fact is this?
- 7:50That yesterday's game was one of those games that kind of remind you of this rivalry.
- 7:54It kind of remind you that, hey, Boston got to live with this.
- 7:58They got to live with this for a while. It ain't the 2004 thing. It ain't the 2003 thing.
- 8:03It is the 2025 thing.
- 8:06And the Boston fans got to eat it. The Red Sox fans, you already know, Boston Red Sox.
- 8:11And hopefully this game was that game where we needed the pitching and clutch
- 8:18hitting. because that's what it is.
- 8:19That's what it is. And it comes down to, once again, Mr. Judge,
- 8:23I'm pretty sure the universe will be on our side.
- 8:26I'm pretty sure you're going to do our thing. You're going to do your thing.
- 8:30We're going to blow this off the roof. We need another World Series.
- 8:33Where are we at? 27. We need 28.
- 8:362009 was the last one for being this Yankee great team.
- 8:40Come on. We're in the 2020s now. Come on, guys.
- 8:44Let's make it happen. But beautiful win. Four games to zero.
- 8:46So shout out to Jazz once again. I mean, he did his thing in the running in game two.
- 8:52I love Jazz Chisholm. He does that little finger roll thing.
- 8:56Hope he needs a couple of home runs so you can see what I mean.
- 8:59We got the Ahmed Rosario, the Codys, Ben Rice, Ben Arros, Giancarlo. We got Cody.
- 9:07Hellinger. Trent Grisham, always playing. Austin Wells coming.
- 9:11Anthony Volpe, I'm watching you.
- 9:13It's that time for you to chime in, bud.
- 9:16Cam and David Bernard, let's go.
- 9:19We put in that work on Yankee Stadium. We're going right now to Toronto as we speak.
- 9:24Once again, it's the Deconstructed Topic Podcast. That's a little bit of nice box score there.
- 9:30And know if we're going to bring more and more and more and more and more of
- 9:33these, because you know what? This podcast needs to be like the sun.
- 9:38Everything else just got to be revolved because we're going to bring light to
- 9:41everything and everything and anything.
- 9:43Much love out there. I'm out of here. It's your boy, The Constructing Topic
