- 0:05Speaker 1: Today is going to be a cautionary tale of how
- 0:08Speaker 1: to do self custy and it's very important because the
- 0:10Speaker 1: market is about to blow. You don't want to be
- 0:12Speaker 1: caught on the wrong side. My name is Paul Burrew
- 0:14Speaker 1: and welcome back into the show today. It's going to
- 0:16Speaker 1: be good because we'll get into self custy and why
- 0:19Speaker 1: it is so important. If you have not seen some
- 0:22Speaker 1: of the shows we've done before, Tangum who is a
- 0:24Speaker 1: Channel partner, and this is a self custody wallet. It's
- 0:27Speaker 1: one of the best out there, I think in terms
- 0:29Speaker 1: of use. We of course have done several shows with David.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Will have him on here in a minute to kind
- 0:34Speaker 1: of break down what you should be doing around self custody.
- 0:37Speaker 1: And the reason is very simple. What has happened over
- 0:40Speaker 1: the past few times where we've seen market explosions is
- 0:44Speaker 1: often we see these centralized exchanges start to get a
- 0:47Speaker 1: little bit dicey. This of course is Coinbase's notable outages
- 0:51Speaker 1: during crypto price spikes. This is the problem that will
- 0:54Speaker 1: happen again, guys. This is not going to be going away.
- 0:57Speaker 1: So we saw bitcoin here recently on July tenth, downtime
- 1:02Speaker 1: three to five percent or three to five times traffic spike.
- 1:05Speaker 1: That was the issue when it hit sixty nine thousand.
- 1:08Speaker 1: We saw the outage back in June of twenty we
- 1:10Speaker 1: saw that one of course, when it spiked from ninety
- 1:12Speaker 1: six to ten three. Those are the kind of things
- 1:14Speaker 1: that will occur in the market. It's another way to
- 1:17Speaker 1: avoid all that is to get into self custody so
- 1:20Speaker 1: that you can be able to manage that. And just
- 1:22Speaker 1: as a cautionary tale that you should be looking at
- 1:25Speaker 1: self custody as a tool and as a major strategy
- 1:30Speaker 1: of how you're running crypto. So to do that, I
- 1:32Speaker 1: wanted to bring in Tangum, one of our channel partners,
- 1:35Speaker 1: and David Wolsher. It's great to see you again. How
- 1:37Speaker 1: are you?
- 1:38Speaker 2: Thank you, Paul. It's a pleasure to be here again.
- 1:40Speaker 2: I mean, I think it's right on the fourth time
- 1:42Speaker 2: to have the chance to talk to you, to the
- 1:44Speaker 2: community and yeah, just help the people a little bit
- 1:47Speaker 2: better tracked on the market, to be on the safe
- 1:50Speaker 2: side of the belly and make everything correct and in
- 1:54Speaker 2: the right matter of time.
- 1:56Speaker 1: You bet so. A couple of things we will get into, guys,
- 1:59Speaker 1: is the roadmap for Tangent. What kind of new features
- 2:02Speaker 1: they've done, but one of the things to watch out
- 2:04Speaker 1: for is this kind of issue that occurs with hardware.
- 2:07Speaker 1: This of course Ledger facing a little bit of backlash
- 2:09Speaker 1: over ending the Nanos hardware wallet support. Don't forget that
- 2:13Speaker 1: Ledger did have that security alert. This of course is
- 2:15Speaker 1: a couple of years old, but this was when they
- 2:18Speaker 1: had the whole Connecticut problem. That's where you get into
- 2:20Speaker 1: these kind of scenarios where you believe in software wallets
- 2:23Speaker 1: hardware wallets, always just do your due diligence on what
- 2:27Speaker 1: you're doing. For self cussing, and of course Tangum has
- 2:29Speaker 1: been one of the I think the better ones out there,
- 2:33Speaker 1: but I want to kind of reference the possibility of
- 2:36Speaker 1: stable coin yields, any kind of planning for stable coin
- 2:39Speaker 1: yields within the Tangent wallet.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Yes, for sure, stable COINI is also topic for us,
- 2:45Speaker 2: but I cannot definitely say yes we do that. On ay,
- 2:48Speaker 2: we don't do that. And what I have to say,
- 2:50Speaker 2: we really are very addicted to the feet pick of
- 2:54Speaker 2: the community. So okay, more users say hey, Tangum, we
- 2:58Speaker 2: need this, we want that, we want that feature on
- 3:01Speaker 2: that coin, we want that opportunity, shoot it to us
- 3:03Speaker 2: by email. That's the very best way. Because Tangum is
- 3:06Speaker 2: listening very closely to the feed pick of users.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Well, listen to this one because I think r l
- 3:11Speaker 1: USD is going to be one that you guys should have.
- 3:14Speaker 1: And this of course is Brad Gardinghouse hitting on this
- 3:16Speaker 1: very point as the number one trusted stable coin out there.
- 3:20Speaker 1: And this is coming of course from blue Chip just
- 3:22Speaker 1: to give you an example of this ripple leading the
- 3:25Speaker 1: way at an A rating. Then you've got Gemini coming
- 3:28Speaker 1: in Packsos, PayPal all that, So this would be a
- 3:30Speaker 1: good list to start with. David, for sure, when you
- 3:33Speaker 1: look at in general the comparison between self custody devices,
- 3:39Speaker 1: you compare against Ledger versus something like a Tangum, Explain
- 3:43Speaker 1: to me how Tangum is really different for our audience
- 3:46Speaker 1: who are brand new to self custody.
- 3:48Speaker 2: You can set up that hardware world without any knowledge
- 3:50Speaker 2: within three to five minutes. You don't need to download
- 3:54Speaker 2: any additional networks. You don't have limited capacity when it
- 3:59Speaker 2: comes to networks. Everything is completely installed and you're ready
- 4:02Speaker 2: to rock the market. And yeah, store your assets in
- 4:06Speaker 2: the very safest way from minute one on without download
- 4:09Speaker 2: anything else. Also, what's a very unique feature to us
- 4:12Speaker 2: is Tangum is one hundred percent open source. You can
- 4:15Speaker 2: really identify all the different software steps directly on GitHub.
- 4:20Speaker 2: I think this is the key. There is no way
- 4:22Speaker 2: that software should be closed. And we, as Tangium, are
- 4:27Speaker 2: the only HeartWare wallet that successfully passed two individual thermware
- 4:32Speaker 2: audits in the past without any complaints, no backdoors, no options,
- 4:37Speaker 2: nothing that is really I mean, I can go on
- 4:39Speaker 2: for an an hour, but I think these are the
- 4:41Speaker 2: major key points.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Well, and I think that draws to the point of
- 4:45Speaker 1: connect You know when you look at just the connect
- 4:47Speaker 1: kit with Ledger, these software updates that often occur with
- 4:51Speaker 1: these hardware devices like a Ledger. That's one of the
- 4:53Speaker 1: reasons that we kind of have gone the route of
- 4:55Speaker 1: the card and the app. They work fluidly together, so
- 4:59Speaker 1: very easy. David, What else is the Tantum team looking
- 5:03Speaker 1: for in these very aggressive market moves? So we've seen
- 5:07Speaker 1: when markets just go parabolic and typically centralized exchanges start
- 5:13Speaker 1: to struggle a little bit just to keep up with
- 5:14Speaker 1: the volume, the amount of site visits, all that kind
- 5:17Speaker 1: of thing. What are you guys coaching your users to
- 5:20Speaker 1: watch for next other than keep some of your assets
- 5:24Speaker 1: on you know, self custom wallets.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, we all the time teach peace do
- 5:29Speaker 2: first of all a test transaction and maybe five to
- 5:31Speaker 2: ten dollars value to really make sure that you hit
- 5:33Speaker 2: the right network, that you really have the right address,
- 5:36Speaker 2: et cetera, so that you don't lose your funds. I mean,
- 5:39Speaker 2: self custody is a gift, but it's also some kind
- 5:41Speaker 2: of punishment because it's you who's reliable for that. If
- 5:45Speaker 2: you lose your assets, it's your problem. So we also
- 5:47Speaker 2: have cross chain swap solutions and that also helps minimize
- 5:52Speaker 2: the risk of getting assets lost by maybe setting the
- 5:55Speaker 2: wrong network, getting hacked or anything else. And also you
- 5:58Speaker 2: reduce the fees and this is definitely a level of comfort,
- 6:02Speaker 2: so you don't need to use one of the exchanges
- 6:05Speaker 2: when they're totally outdated because of high volume, high user entrances.
- 6:10Speaker 2: I mean, if you're going to take a look to
- 6:12Speaker 2: the EPP downloads, robin Hood coinbase and I don't know
- 6:15Speaker 2: what's the third one is. I mean, they bumped up
- 6:18Speaker 2: from ranking twenty five to right now and I think they're
- 6:21Speaker 2: ranking ten in the EPP downloads. It's pretty importantly impressive.
- 6:25Speaker 2: To see and with this rising users, you also may
- 6:28Speaker 2: end up in peak times that you're not capable to
- 6:31Speaker 2: sell your assets. And this is what we do. We
- 6:33Speaker 2: help the user to directly swap your assets on your
- 6:37Speaker 2: Tangum app without any hesitations.
- 6:39Speaker 1: And when you look at the swap capability within Tangum,
- 6:44Speaker 1: the partners that you guys have now and the fees
- 6:47Speaker 1: that are charged within that, how does that work within
- 6:50Speaker 1: the Tangum ecosystem. Are you looking to add any new partners,
- 6:55Speaker 1: especially for swap for speed, because I know there's often
- 6:57Speaker 1: a list where you can choose which one you want
- 6:59Speaker 1: to swap bond give many updates there.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Yes, sir, So in general we have right now I
- 7:04Speaker 2: think eight or nine different partners, from decentralized exchanges to
- 7:08Speaker 2: centralized exchanges. So for example one inch is connected with
- 7:12Speaker 2: okay extas. We also have change le Change now, change
- 7:14Speaker 2: Hero and Tensium is all the time selecting the very
- 7:19Speaker 2: best partner or the very best pair to save you
- 7:22Speaker 2: fees and also time for example, so the swaps can
- 7:25Speaker 2: from time to time take a minute or two longer
- 7:28Speaker 2: because these exchanges also working in the background, checking liquidity,
- 7:32Speaker 2: et cetera, et cetera. But in the great scheme of things,
- 7:35Speaker 2: it's definitely the more affordable version of sending your assets
- 7:40Speaker 2: from your wallet to the exchange what creates fees, then
- 7:44Speaker 2: also swap it on the exchange, what also creates fees,
- 7:46Speaker 2: and then maybe send it back to your wallet because
- 7:48Speaker 2: you want to hold it, maybe be prepared for the
- 7:50Speaker 2: next bearer market. So I mean, this is just a circle.
- 7:53Speaker 2: What definitely creates issues, hesitations, and also fees. But we're
- 7:57Speaker 2: working on a feature that call send via swap. So
- 8:02Speaker 2: what does that mean, Paul. Just imagine you're buying a
- 8:06Speaker 2: brand new, nice truck, you know, maybe a gim C
- 8:09Speaker 2: or whatever you like, and the dealer is accepting bitcoin,
- 8:12Speaker 2: or let me say he's accepting use the T and
- 8:15Speaker 2: you have your big bitcoin portfolio with you in your
- 8:19Speaker 2: Tangum wallet, and what you're going to have to do
- 8:21Speaker 2: typically is grab your bitcoin, swap it to use d T,
- 8:25Speaker 2: and then send it to the dealer. So that could
- 8:27Speaker 2: take I don't know, five minutes, ten minutes. And what
- 8:31Speaker 2: we're going to do is with the new features sent
- 8:33Speaker 2: via swap, you can directly put in the receiving address
- 8:38Speaker 2: of your car dealer. Then you grab your bitcoin and
- 8:42Speaker 2: say I want to send the amount of sixty and
- 8:45Speaker 2: ninety nine U S dollars to this dealer, And what
- 8:49Speaker 2: Tantrum is doing in the background, it's swapping bitcoin to
- 8:52Speaker 2: use the t and send it to a dealer, and
- 8:54Speaker 2: you only pay the fee for the swap, not for
- 8:56Speaker 2: the cent. So it's an absolutely quality of life feature
- 9:01Speaker 2: that the community was asked. And what was the really
- 9:04Speaker 2: great input from the community that we're implementing within the
- 9:07Speaker 2: next updates.
- 9:08Speaker 1: What about the speed of a swap showing back up
- 9:11Speaker 1: in your wallet immediately? So in some swaps you'll see
- 9:16Speaker 1: an exchange it's going out to changele We'll use them
- 9:19Speaker 1: as an example. It disappears from the asset, does not
- 9:23Speaker 1: repopulate in the new asset over sometimes minutes. Sometimes I've
- 9:28Speaker 1: seen it as long as an hour. What is these
- 9:31Speaker 1: is there? Are you guys doing anything to increase that
- 9:33Speaker 1: speed so transactions are immediately recognized across all assets.
- 9:38Speaker 2: What we have right now is good, but it's not perfect, honestly,
- 9:41Speaker 2: so we have to provide more information. So there's also
- 9:44Speaker 2: a bunch of new things coming up. We're definitely working
- 9:47Speaker 2: on topics like that to maybe show some kind of Hey,
- 9:50Speaker 2: this is the status. Hey, this is where we're working
- 9:52Speaker 2: on right now. Next step is receiving your funds. You
- 9:56Speaker 2: know that the user see a little bit more because
- 9:58Speaker 2: the problem is if if you have it there, you
- 10:01Speaker 2: you refresh the page and you see it, I mean
- 10:04Speaker 2: you sure, yeah.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Well, I think the transaction detail improvements will will help
- 10:12Speaker 1: soften the blow of that when people see, okay, the
- 10:15Speaker 1: transaction is in Q. It's much like when we're seeing
- 10:17Speaker 1: it unchain. Let's get into some of the updates that
- 10:20Speaker 1: you have made, uh, the Tangent market updates. Of course,
- 10:24Speaker 1: now you've got this new security score, which is pretty cool,
- 10:28Speaker 1: available exchanges, and then also the news feed, all of
- 10:31Speaker 1: which I've got a couple of screenshots. Here is an
- 10:33Speaker 1: example of Solana and the security score that is now
- 10:37Speaker 1: within it, so that I think is a welcome benefit
- 10:41Speaker 1: to the app itself.
- 10:43Speaker 2: So the market news specifically, this is something we're on
- 10:47Speaker 2: the determination when we're going to bring that out, because
- 10:50Speaker 2: this is really something that's crucial because we want to
- 10:52Speaker 2: help the people really stay in the app, you know,
- 10:54Speaker 2: I mean, can achieve that the people safe time, they
- 10:57Speaker 2: really have everything in one spot, you know, that's that's
- 11:00Speaker 2: crucial to us the safety rating. This is something that
- 11:04Speaker 2: we should have life right now, and that is something
- 11:07Speaker 2: we really worked a long time on that because we
- 11:09Speaker 2: really want to help people understand, hey, is that an
- 11:12Speaker 2: asset what's probably trustful because of the teams dogs, you
- 11:16Speaker 2: can see all the toconomics live YadA YadA YadA, or
- 11:19Speaker 2: is it really some kind of that low market cap
- 11:22Speaker 2: or that nanocap that you should not embass a lot
- 11:25Speaker 2: in there. So we really want to help the people
- 11:28Speaker 2: get a good foot on the market and not get
- 11:30Speaker 2: burned very very quick. So yeah, we're working on additional
- 11:34Speaker 2: features as well. One of that is also the multi
- 11:37Speaker 2: accounts what we also spoke i think last time in
- 11:39Speaker 2: our meeting, where we make sure that you have additional
- 11:43Speaker 2: addresses for bitcoin, ethereum, et cetera, that you can maybe
- 11:47Speaker 2: build up some kind of a saving wallet, you know,
- 11:50Speaker 2: some kind of a working wallet and maybe also for
- 11:53Speaker 2: text reason. I mean, this is also something that could
- 11:55Speaker 2: become very interesting. And the multi accounts just bumped a
- 11:58Speaker 2: little bit behind.
- 12:00Speaker 1: All right, So no multi count yet. Is it coming
- 12:03Speaker 1: though not now?
- 12:04Speaker 2: It is coming, and we're working very hard on that.
- 12:07Speaker 2: We want that, we need that and we know the
- 12:09Speaker 2: community is asking for that, but it is on our
- 12:12Speaker 2: to do list.
- 12:12Speaker 1: One other thing, of course, just as a note, I've
- 12:14Speaker 1: got another screenshot here of this one. This shows the
- 12:17Speaker 1: centralized exchanges and their ratings. So it kind of gives
- 12:21Speaker 1: you a little bit of insight when you're out there
- 12:23Speaker 1: purchasing where you should be going to other things from
- 12:28Speaker 1: self custody stocks. So let's talk about this for a second.
- 12:31Speaker 1: I was looking at your post right here, your keys,
- 12:34Speaker 1: your stocks available on Tangent for both Solana and Arbitrum.
- 12:39Speaker 1: You've got good example. There is coin x, Apple, x,
- 12:44Speaker 1: Nvidia x, et cetera. This is now token is security
- 12:48Speaker 1: is being able to be held within a self custody wallet.
- 12:52Speaker 1: So great innovation.
- 12:53Speaker 2: I mean, this is a really big topic for US.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Synthetic stocks is something that the mark It has developed
- 13:01Speaker 2: already I think two and a half for three years ago.
- 13:03Speaker 2: This become very interesting in countries where cryptos get raided
- 13:09Speaker 2: differently than stocks. So for example, here in Germany, you
- 13:14Speaker 2: don't pay any taxes if you hold your cryptos for
- 13:16Speaker 2: longer than three hundred and sixty five days. So after
- 13:19Speaker 2: the three hundred and sixty six day, your taxes for
- 13:23Speaker 2: crypto for spot cryptos free. If you're going to do
- 13:25Speaker 2: that with a synthetic stock like for example, like an
- 13:30Speaker 2: Apple stock, you don't pay any tax on the stock.
- 13:34Speaker 2: What's phenomenon? So, I mean, this is a key topic,
- 13:37Speaker 2: and we saw things like that coming on say Network.
- 13:41Speaker 2: There is a very big marketplace that are also doing that.
- 13:45Speaker 2: We see Ethereum recently moving to that point as well,
- 13:48Speaker 2: a couple of projects on that, and I think that's
- 13:50Speaker 2: the future. I think that's definitely more flexible than the
- 13:54Speaker 2: recent stock brokers that we have out there, and I'm
- 13:58Speaker 2: more than happy that our team saw that development option
- 14:01Speaker 2: and is working on that hardly.
- 14:02Speaker 1: I think I don't know that that's been available on
- 14:06Speaker 1: any other self custody, So that is a pretty big
- 14:08Speaker 1: innovation going forward. So kudos to you guys. Looking at
- 14:12Speaker 1: the roadmap, let's take a look at Q one NFTs,
- 14:15Speaker 1: which we'll talk about here in a second. I know
- 14:17Speaker 1: you're going to show something on screen here, but obviously
- 14:19Speaker 1: this will show a little bit more NFTs DeFi Interactions
- 14:23Speaker 1: improve Transaction History, which we just talked about earlier, and
- 14:27Speaker 1: then AI news. This is what you're talking about is
- 14:29Speaker 1: where we'll get a little bit more news notification. Let's
- 14:32Speaker 1: go to can you show us on the wallet, for instance,
- 14:35Speaker 1: an example of what the NFTs are going to look
- 14:38Speaker 1: like in the app itself. Can you give us a
- 14:40Speaker 1: sneak peek?
- 14:41Speaker 2: Yes, sir, And I'm more than proud of that because
- 14:43Speaker 2: I know that we have spoken about things like that,
- 14:45Speaker 2: I think at the very first time, roughly one and
- 14:48Speaker 2: a half or two years ago.
- 14:49Speaker 1: While yeah, and so.
- 14:50Speaker 2: What are you going to do? You go to the
- 14:51Speaker 2: three dots on the top, select your wallet and just
- 14:55Speaker 2: check the mark n FT and that's all you have
- 14:58Speaker 2: to do. Go down and hey, wella you see some NFTs.
- 15:02Speaker 2: I think got a bunch of trash over there. Let's
- 15:04Speaker 2: maybe click on that here. Yeah, this is my female minor.
- 15:09Speaker 2: This is my car. I had a Dodge Grand Caravan there.
- 15:13Speaker 2: So but yeah, long story short, we have it available
- 15:15Speaker 2: right now. It took a little bit longer, but like
- 15:17Speaker 2: I said, quality comes first, attentionent. That's important for us
- 15:21Speaker 2: that we make sure that all our feature features that
- 15:23Speaker 2: are tested valid and does not have any topics where
- 15:26Speaker 2: you can maybe interact and hack something.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Any other things that you can talk about for next
- 15:32Speaker 1: quarter that are going to be the big releases on
- 15:34Speaker 1: the roadmap.
- 15:35Speaker 2: What is also a big topic for us is, for example,
- 15:38Speaker 2: additional staking opportunities. So right now we have really a
- 15:43Speaker 2: lot of a lot of options to stake your assets
- 15:45Speaker 2: directly on tensent with a very good yield. And also,
- 15:48Speaker 2: I mean I actually showed a little bit. I have
- 15:50Speaker 2: my Burner wallet and whenever I do staking by world
- 15:53Speaker 2: connect to a third party, I just only use my
- 15:55Speaker 2: Burner wallet. I don't use my Hoddle wallet. With our
- 15:58Speaker 2: internal staking models, you are absolutely free and don't need
- 16:03Speaker 2: to have any let me say, hesitations that you may
- 16:06Speaker 2: be sign a malicious contract, you get a wallet drain,
- 16:09Speaker 2: or you get hacked. You know, so, bra I mean,
- 16:10Speaker 2: this is most likely the topic. And we're also planning
- 16:13Speaker 2: to integrate pocket, dot Cardano and ton Network, probably in
- 16:19Speaker 2: qq Q three. And we're also working on additional support
- 16:24Speaker 2: for our users when it comes to integration of text
- 16:29Speaker 2: tools like one click integrations that you don't need to
- 16:34Speaker 2: manually integrate everything. But this is something for the future.
- 16:37Speaker 2: We know that the market is asking for that, We
- 16:39Speaker 2: know that regulations are coming, We know that the government
- 16:41Speaker 2: really want to know everything, and we want to make
- 16:43Speaker 2: sure that you can control what you're going to give
- 16:46Speaker 2: away in informations and not anybody else.
- 16:48Speaker 1: That's one that I have to ask you about is
- 16:51Speaker 1: going to be onboarding being able to get and buy
- 16:54Speaker 1: crypto right now. Obviously we've got Mercurio, simple Ax, couple
- 16:58Speaker 1: others that are available. What about coinbase or Robinhood being
- 17:02Speaker 1: able to be introduced into the platform.
- 17:05Speaker 2: So the current option of directly buy and sell cryptos
- 17:10Speaker 2: buy feared by US dollar, by urup, by whatever. This
- 17:14Speaker 2: is really let me call it an absolutely emergency option
- 17:19Speaker 2: because fees are too high. You're going to really have
- 17:22Speaker 2: to completely kwa see, and that's not what we want,
- 17:25Speaker 2: you know, because we're in crypto, so we're in the
- 17:28Speaker 2: crypto business. What we're doing right now, we're exploring many
- 17:31Speaker 2: many more options, additional suppliers that can help us serve
- 17:35Speaker 2: the community much better, reduce the fees, increase the speed.
- 17:39Speaker 2: I cannot announce the names, but I think you call
- 17:42Speaker 2: it some interesting ones. Let me call it that way.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Okay, I like that. I like that statement right there.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Let's go over to the topic of the XRP ledger tokens,
- 17:50Speaker 1: because here's the XP market, A lot of opportunity, a
- 17:53Speaker 1: lot of potential here. Really, Gamen in general has been
- 17:57Speaker 1: pretty much the token wallet for any XRP ecosystem out there.
- 18:03Speaker 1: What about XRP ledger tokens anytime soon?
- 18:06Speaker 2: I'm I really would love to have the option to
- 18:09Speaker 2: have the trust line built up to the exorp ledger
- 18:12Speaker 2: that you can also put on your exorp tokens. I mean,
- 18:15Speaker 2: I'm a big fan of the project. I had right
- 18:18Speaker 2: now sold a little bit at three dollars, you know,
- 18:20Speaker 2: made some gains, but I also hold a couple off
- 18:23Speaker 2: niche projects in healthcare management, also in payment solutions directly
- 18:29Speaker 2: from xop ledger. Unfortunately, we do not have enough feedback
- 18:34Speaker 2: from the community, and here's my shout out to you,
- 18:36Speaker 2: ladies and gentlemen. Would be great if you can just
- 18:39Speaker 2: help our team. Just shoot an email to support Attention
- 18:42Speaker 2: to come help them understand we need the excorped.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Okay, guys, if you're on the if you're in the
- 18:47Speaker 1: XRP army and you want an extra wallet out there,
- 18:49Speaker 1: here's a good example of how you guys can do it.
- 18:51Speaker 1: We'll drop this on x so you guys can amplify
- 18:54Speaker 1: it to the Tantum team. Last point I want to
- 18:56Speaker 1: get at is the ring. So we have a beef
- 18:59Speaker 1: with the rank. It's very complicated. I won't say complicated,
- 19:02Speaker 1: it's very specific of where you have to place it.
- 19:06Speaker 1: For those of you that don't know, Tantum has little
- 19:09Speaker 1: cards that are used as the primary wallet. You can
- 19:12Speaker 1: get three cards that we always leave a link where
- 19:14Speaker 1: you can do that. So those cards they work with
- 19:17Speaker 1: an app very easy. But you also have the ring.
- 19:20Speaker 1: And the ring is i think the cool feature, but
- 19:24Speaker 1: you do have to obviously take it off, but it
- 19:26Speaker 1: also has to kind of be in the right place
- 19:28Speaker 1: to be able to get a transaction to go through.
- 19:31Speaker 1: What is going on with that? Is that a purpose design?
- 19:34Speaker 1: Give us a little bit input.
- 19:36Speaker 2: When we started developing the ring, we had a lot
- 19:38Speaker 2: of topics like hesitations, Hey, what is if somebody steals
- 19:42Speaker 2: your phone? You're in a bar, you know, I mean,
- 19:44Speaker 2: you're just hanging around and ladies and gentlemen who knows
- 19:48Speaker 2: what that is know what's the value of it? So
- 19:51Speaker 2: I mean, and therefore we decided very very early on
- 19:55Speaker 2: to not make the ring working in that way. And
- 19:57Speaker 2: I'm going to switch back my camera. You just can
- 20:01Speaker 2: sign a transaction by just holding the ring when you
- 20:04Speaker 2: have it on your finger. So what's definitely the reason
- 20:08Speaker 2: is to ensure proper safety and also quality of your transactions.
- 20:14Speaker 2: You're gonna grab the ring and hold it to your
- 20:16Speaker 2: phone to the right spot so you can sign the transaction.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Let me take it here. I think I have to
- 20:22Speaker 2: unlocked my phone because I got an Indian mode, So
- 20:29Speaker 2: that's that's a showing effect. Okay. Anyway, you're definitely gonna
- 20:34Speaker 2: have to put the ring in the right position without
- 20:37Speaker 2: your suitcase, without your your phone case. I think this
- 20:41Speaker 2: is the version that I have not set it up
- 20:43Speaker 2: because I got my other one laying on my desk.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, we get it to work, but it
- 20:47Speaker 1: just takes a little bit more time. Obviously. The card
- 20:49Speaker 1: I feel is the one that is just almost instantaneous.
- 20:53Speaker 1: It works fantastically. Hey David, it's been good having you on.
- 20:56Speaker 1: By the way, we're gonna drop something cool and that
- 20:58Speaker 1: is we're gonna do some Tantrum card giveaways. We're going
- 21:01Speaker 1: to do that in the Diamond Circle. So if you
- 21:04Speaker 1: guys are not part of the Diamond Circle, get in
- 21:06Speaker 1: right now. That's our email list, and then we'll do
- 21:09Speaker 1: a random drawing. We'll announce them on the show, we'll
- 21:11Speaker 1: send you guys some Tangum cards and you guys can
- 21:14Speaker 1: get into your self custody journey. It's going to be

- 21:47Speaker 2: only by email, I mean email lists for sure. Private support,
- 21:49Speaker 2: I think most everybody.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Else there, Yeah, I think most of our viewers and
- 21:53Speaker 1: listeners they understand hopefully they've been in crypto long enough
- 21:57Speaker 1: to understand. These phishing attempts are pretty rampant out there.
- 22:00Speaker 1: This is happening in the banking industry, It's happening everywhere.
- 22:02Speaker 1: So you guys should always practice very very secure processes,
- 22:07Speaker 1: double check, assume everything is bad until you can prove
- 22:10Speaker 1: that it's not so just good cautious recommendations out there.
- 22:15Speaker 1: But again, thanks for stopping in today, David.
