- Amanda: What is up guys? Welcome back to Let's Talk Football Married Edition. It is Thursday, October 22nd. I'm Amanda. I'm here with my lovely husband and co-host, Mr. Drew Black himself. What's up, babe? Drew: Hey, what's going on? Hope everybody out there had a good week getting ready for this weekend's matchups. We're getting into week seven. Seasons well, we're halfway through the regular or almost halfway through the regular season Amanda: Jak. Jak. Drew: of of fantasy football. So what do we got this week? And then we will be halfway through, which is just wild to think that that we're at this point now. And it's starting to get a little dicey out there between all the injuries and the bye week starting. We're starting some not great names this week and, you know, that's what we're here for. Amanda: There's no we I feel like we haven't talked about it, but there's no like bipocalypse situation this year, right? Where like there's like a shit ass ton. It's pretty spread out this season, right? Drew: Be honest with you, I don't actually know the answer to that. I think so. Amanda: I thought we looked it up and like what, this week we have one, two, three, four, and last week we had four. I think it's pretty spread out this year, which is helpful. Drew: Yeah, I mean I I would imagine they would try to spread it out. Like a couple of years ago they moved to like four like there's like week th fourteen buys. Yeah, like super late, which I think h helps. Amanda: Deep, deep season buys. Which could you imagine being that team with those deep season buys though? Of like these guys have to just grind it out week over week and they don't get any break until deep, deep in the season. That's crazy. I know. Drew: Yeah, it's the same as the people that get what week four buys, like the first couple teams is like, All right, well we just started the season, so I you just deal with what you get, you know? Amanda: This is stupid. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Well, let's talk a little bit of Monday night football. Obviously we had the Forty Niners beat the Commanders, which I Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: think we all anticipated would be the likely outcome of that game, but it was close down to the wire. Drew: Yeah, it's a ta it was a tail of two halves, really. Like Amanda: I like that. Drew: San Francisco dominated the first half and could not be stopped, and the commanders couldn't really do much on offense. And then Mike Evans gets hurt right before halftime. And San Francisco came out in the second half and like couldn't do anything. So long term impact, I mean, Mike Amanda: I was gonna say, how does that make you feel about Bro Brock Purdy without Mike Evans? Drew: It's not just the Brock. So like first thought, like, the receiver's down, the quarterback won't be as good. Like, yes, that's true. Mike Evans will make any quarterback better. But it's more of just the entire offense. So when you've got a guy like Mike Evans that is so good at third downs and, you know, he he he's a chain mover, especially at this time at this point in his career. He is a get to the sticks, get the first down. He's gonna catch about everything that you throw at him. including contested catches. And the defense has to plan against that. So that takes one safety that has to shade his way so the corner doesn't get beat. And it just it it changes a lot. And without him, they just they couldn't move the ball well. They couldn't give Sam C they couldn't get Sam C into space because they could load the box up 'cause they're not afraid of Brandon Cooks and company. And you Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: know, Cowan and whoever else they throw out there. So Outside of Kittle, I mean, it's gonna be a ton of McCaffrey and a c ton of Kittle moving forward until they can figure something out. the one thing I do want to throw out is there's been some Juwan Jennings rumors going back to San Francisco. Obviously, he was there previously. no, and he's very unhappy. So he's was on Amanda: Hmm. And he's done nothing with the Vikings, so. Drew: the sidelines, like yelling at the head coach. He wants the ball, he's barely used. he's sick of it in Minnesota, so I could see a trade of Joan Jennings back to Minn from Minnesota back to San Francisco. Amanda: Which he knows the knows the playbook, he knows the scheme, he's been with the coach, that makes sense. Drew: Correct, which means he could hit the yeah, he could hit the ground running very fast. It wouldn't be a ramp up here. It's plug and play. It's not like Marv where he gets traded and has to learn a new system and gets, Amanda: Yeah. Drew: you know, fifteen snaps the first week he's there. No, Juwan Johnson could get traded on a Friday and show up Sunday and play Amanda: Play. Drew: ninety percent of snaps and be fine because he already knows the playbook. Amanda: Hmm. Hmm. All right. Well, no, that's an interesting conversation. Obviously, we also know that the commanders dealt with the JCM going on IR as well. Drew: I are Amanda: So we saw Rashad White take most of that backfield, a little bit of accessory work from Eckler, but Rashad White is gonna be that lead back, which at least if you have him, gives you a little security there. Drew: Yeah, it's the receiving work is the valuable part. So if you're in like a P PR league, I think he's a good he's a good guy to have for the next thr three weeks. Amanda: He is such a good PPR gem. Drew: Yeah. and then you've got obviously the Terry McLaurin injury, which is just it's sad. We're Amanda: Sad. Drew: and we're from Columbus. We watched him play in college. He is roughly our age, close to it, so if we Amanda: I didn't r we were talking about that. We didn't realize, like I I feel like I've known Terry McLaurin for so long. I like, I don't feel like he's that old. I don't feel that old. He's been in the the league for a minute now. Drew: Yeah, he he was in college when we were getting out of college. So it we it was, you know, pretty close in age there. but him going down, it just sucks. And then what to do with the receiving. I mean, Stefan Diggs is relevant now more than ever. especially he's the the chain mover, you know, short short yardage chain mover. And then Antonio Williams, I think, takes a big bump up. He's the rookie receiver that they have who's Amanda: I do. Yeah. Drew: played very well when him and Daniels have been on the field together. So, Amanda: Yeah. Yeah. Drew: I don't think the McClorin injury affects Daniels at all because he's got other options. He's got Diggs, he's got Williams, and then Chig Aconquo, who is a super athletic tight end who just like was lost in the doldrums of Tennessee the last couple of years. He looked good. Seven for sixty nine, a very nice sixty nine. Amanda: Yeah. Yeah. He did. That's what Kittle hit too. Drew: Yes he did. Amanda: the tight ends really just came in hot for us this week. that's funny. No, I I agree. Gut Conquo looked great and also that's just such an epic name. Chica Conquo, man. Just like how honored would I be to say that name in a relevant Drew: Yeah, it is. He grew Amanda: sense weekly. Drew: I haven't watched him play at all this year and I liked his hair. He looks like he grew his hair out. It looked pretty sweet f bouncing around out of that helmet Amanda: yeah. Mm-hmm. Hey, it's the little things. Drew: too. Amanda: It's the little things. All right. Well, today we've got obviously our basics. We're gonna go over our injury report. We're gonna talk all of our week seven matchups. We're gonna do our weekly prop bet segment for better or for worst. But we're going to kick off with our segment called Sunday Sweethearts. These are just simply players that we really, really love this week. And, you know, sometimes we get it right. Sometimes we do not. But I feel good about it this week. I feel good about it this week. Drew: Speak for yourself. I get it right a lot. Amanda: huh. Give me your quarterback, sweetheart. Ha ha ha. It's like sweetheart. Drew: All right, my quarterback my quarterback sweetheart of the week, I think is the same as last week. it's Jordan Love. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: Yep. He play he played Dallas last week, plays Detroit this week. So Detroit 32nd in strength of schedule, which means that they are just terrible against fantasy quarterbacks. Obviously they're pretty bad against everything. they are coming off a buy, so they've had two weeks to prepare, so temper a little bit of the expectations. it's disappointing that he didn't have more fantasy production last week against Dallas. But he did have some big plays called back that Amanda: Mm. Drew: were like massive plays. And then the second half kind of slowed down. So you know, and believe it or not, Detroit is worse than Dallas against quarterbacks, which I can't believe that's a real thing. But yeah, Jordan Love should have another great week this week. Amanda: Yeah, well my quarterback sweetheart is CJ Stroud. he is averaging two hundred and eight what did I say? Stroud? Do I always say I always say it like that. Well it's there's always Drew: You know it's CJ Stroud with a D, right? Not a T. Stroud. You it's you always do that. Every time you say it it's Stroud. Amanda: Samuels Stroud Stroud. Yeah, but it doesn't sound right. Stroud. Stroud. Stroud. Now it's gonna Drew: But it's not a T, it's a D. Stroud. CJ Stroud. Stroud. Stroud. Amanda: now it sounds like just random v noise coming out of my mouth. Alright, anyway, CJ is my quarterback sweetheart of the week. He is averaging 286 passing yards per game. He's fourth in the league. obviously, we've added more receiving weapons to his repertoire at this point. And the New York Giants, who they play, is giving up on average 20.1 fantasy points to the quarterback position. So this to me is an absolute no-brainer and would be a great streaming start, or just fill in quarterback if your guy's injured or Your guy has a really fucking bad match. Drew: Yeah, weirdly enough, the Giants are awful against quarterbacks for fantasy, like you know, but they're like good against receivers, which is odd that they can that it's odd that they can go opposites, but Amanda: I know. It's not like double duo that's yeah, weird. But you've got Nico Collins, I ain't worried about that. Drew: no, that's a deep receiver room. all right, running back of the sweetheart of the week for me is Braylon Allen of the New York Jets. gets to play Miami, thirtieth in strength of schedule, so great matchup. since Brees Hall has been out, he's got an 85 plus percent snap share. So he is literally getting all of the work. He is a true bell cow since Brees is out. I don't think Brees is coming back this week. Obviously, if Brees is back, this changes a little bit. but I don't think Brees is coming back. he's averaged twenty two attempts over the last two games. He's averaging over four and a half a carry, which is very good production. He is a low teens floor without a touchdown. And if he scores a touchdown or two, he's got twenty plus point potential. So I think he is a smash play this week. Amanda: I love it. Well, I'm gonna go with my boy, Jalen Warren. we saw last week Rico Dowdall came back, and his return did not erase Jalen Warren's role at all. He still played approximately 73% of the offensive snaps and handled 12 of Pittsburgh's 19 running back carries in week six. So obviously he was the most utilized back. Not only that, the touchdown probability here is amazing against the New Orleans Saints. New Orleans Saints has allowed twelve touchdowns to the running back position. That's the most in the NFL entering this week. So that is just music to my ears. I love Jalen Warren this week. Drew: Yeah, Rico's dealing with a little bit of Amanda: Residual injury. Drew: residual injury as well. all right, wide receiver sweetheart of the week for me is gonna be T T Higgins, Mr. T T himself. Amanda: Mr T T That's how I scream at a TV when he does well. Drew: Yep. the Cincinnati Bengals receiver plays at Baltimore, so it's a division matchup. d Baltimore's not very good against the receivers, twenty-fifth in strength of strength of schedule this year so far. Has only played Baltimore in two of the previous six meetings. So as we know, T. Higgins does not play full seasons ever. Amanda: T T gets hurt. Drew: Weirdly, I went back through and that was wild. So last six meetings, so three years he's played two games against Baltimore, which is wild. But In those two games, he has averaged almost 25 fantasy points per game in half PPR in those two games. Amanda: Woo! Drew: Those are and that's two that's monster games, right? he's coming off a bye week, so he had a little bit of extra time to get the groin and neck. He had a ni bit of a neck injury as well. so he had a little bit of extra time to get those healed up. He should be ready to go, and I think he is a Humongous play this week. Amanda: Love it. Also, you know, Baltimore coming off of a disappointing loss to the the Browns. That should be an interesting game to see both of them needing to score and advance and all that type of stuff. So I love it. my sweetheart of the week is from the Poopy Browns, but Denzel Boston. last week's production was was freaking ugly. There's no way around it. Okay. It was bad, it was off, it was hard to watch. And if you played Denzel Boston, you were radically upset with his performance. However, he still posted a 97% route rate. So he was out there running routes the entire freaking game. He's heavily involved, and this matchup does support a rebound. So I'm gonna run it back to Denzel Boston and hope that that offense just comes back to where they were before. A couple down weeks, rain game, and then just it was an abysmal week for the Browns last week. We should see a bounce back on their behalf this week from an offensive standpoint. And again, as long as I know Boston's dealing with some injuries, as long as he gets out there and suits up, I think this is a very safe bet for you this week in fantasy football. Drew: Very good. My tight end sweetheart of the week is gonna be Tucker Kraft of the Green Bay Packers. It's time. It is Amanda: I hope I hope so. It's time. Drew: it is time. The breakout game this week. He plays at Detroit. Detroit, as we know, is bad against everybody. And if they're gonna try to take anything away, it's got to be the deep balls to Watson and Golden. I can't imagine that it's anything but that, because that's really the driving force of Green Bay so far this year. 30 second strength of schedule, so terrible against tight ends so far. He's averaged, Tucker has averaged 10 points per game the last two times he's played in Detroit, so pretty good production, and that's in half PPR. targets are there. He has a been averaging seven targets per game over the last four weeks. That's really good target share for a tight end. It's coming. He has one touchdown on the year, he's dropped a couple of them. He is scoring a touchdown this week, I guarantee it. He's scoring Amanda: Yes. Drew: this week. It is Tucker Kraft. So if you want to go trade for him, now's the time because he's about to blow up. Amanda: I love it. Music to my ears. All right. My tight end sweet of heart is TJ Hawkinson. he has already shown substantial target upside, specifically with Kyler Murray. We know Kyler Murray likes to throw to his tight end. he's had thir he had 13 receptions for 119 yards against Miami. That's the last full game he played before he went out with the concussion. That's insane. So great production. Indy the Colts have been also vulnerable to the tight end position. We've seen Travis Kelsey and Pratt Fryermuth put up big games against this defense. So we should see TJ Hawkinson this week do the same. So if I need a good tight end for the week, this is who I'm reaching for. Drew: Don't forget, itty bitty baby boy Kyler Murray throws to his tight ends a lot, probably 'cause they're closer to the line of scrimmage and he can see Amanda: Little baby boy Kyler likes to throw there's he's coward. Drew: All right, defense of the week for me is gonna be the Houston Texans. So obviously the Houston Texans were expected to be this great defense again this year after last year. They've been very disappointing this year, so they should be available in some leagues, maybe not after waivers have run because the matchup's so good, but they get to play. I was thinking JJ McCarthy. They Amanda: Did your brain just glitch? Drew: get they did just glitch. They get they get to play the New York Giants. I saw JJ McCarthy on the show dock and my head went the Amanda: and you still went back to Vikings. Drew: Vikings and I was like, they don't play the Vikings this week. No, they play the New York Giants, who are, it is confirmed, is they are playing JJ McCarthy in this week's game. Houston's defense is gonna eat JJ McCarthy alive. God, I hope they do. I do not root for I root against actively root against JJ McCarthy because he cheated in college with his entire Michigan Wolverines team. and I just don't think he's that good. but two good games, four bad games this year from Houston Texas defense, but again, JJ McCarthy. I guarantee it is a guaranteed turnover. At least one. At least one. Amanda: Yeah, at least one. At least one. I agree. I agree. Well, I am picking the other defense. So both Houston Texans and this defense were available on my waiver wire or on my free agency. And I decided to choose the latter. I'm going with the Cleveland Browns. I hate when I have to do it. Ew. No. I'm Drew: You just love Cleveland now. I'm gonna get you a brown sweater. I'm gonna get you a brown sweater. Yep, it's gonna happen. Amanda: purposely wearing this just to offset the picks. nonetheless, it's just a no-brainer, right? This is a decent defense. They're they're not the best of the best. They're not the worst of the worst. They're just a midline defense this year. However They're playing a struggling offense. And anytime you see a defensive matchup, that is decent, right? We we learned what we learned about the Dallas Cowboys. If they're real shitty, we don't want pick them. But if they're just good, then we're good to throw them in against a shitty, struggling offense of Cam Ward. So I think the Cleveland Browns are a wonderful bet to just equally eat Cam Ward alive this week. So we'll see how that goes. Drew: I hope so. Amanda: All right, that's it for our Sunday sweethearts. We're gonna move into our injury notes as we approach week number seven. Drew: Alrighty. Lamar Jackson returned to a limited practice on Wednesday. We don't know if he's gonna play or not, so keep an eye on that. We hope he's gonna play when we get to the matchup. It seems like Vegas thinks he's gonna play because they are favored. and Baltimore would not be favored against Cincinnati if Tyler Huntley was the what's what they expected. So Vegas at least thinks he's gonna play. Baker Mayfield looks like he might come back this week. he did get in a full practice on Wednesday after missing the last three weeks. So hopefully Baker's back. Saquon, still no practice, I believe. we looked up Amanda, you looked this one up this morning and there's like no information. So Amanda: There's no notes. The only lot of information out there is trade possibilities. So Drew: trade rumors. So with all of the stuff going on with the Eagles right now, it would probably behoove them to keep Barkley out this week, let the Hammy recover, and then I'll be honest with you, they probably should trade him. He's nearing thirty. Their team is not good enough to bounce back even next year. And that's if Jalen Hurts can come back healthy. If not, this is a full rebuild. So I think that they'll get rid of him this year and and move him on to a contender. Brees Hall, no practice again on Wednesday. Quinshaw Junkins did get a limited practice in on Wednesday, so hopefully he comes back for my Browns. David Montgomery, no practice, unlikely to play. Jeremiah Love, no practice. I am gonna guess he doesn't play this week again. Kyle Manungay already ruled out for tonight's game Thursday night. Bucky Irving, illness. Did not practice on Wednesday. So keep an eye out. It is an illness. Typically with an illness that's reported this early in the week, they're gonna recover by Sunday enough to play. These they they've got great medical teams with these NFL. They get better care. They get they get better care than what Amanda: Pump him through a few fluids and flush it out, buddy. Drew: you and I get. So I would expect him to be better by Sunday. and from the running back position, we also have two returns this week. It looks like Jordan Mason will return from IR this week. And Zach Charbonnet is also trending towards returning from IR and playing this week as well. So Amanda: Yay. Drew: that wraps up the running backs for the week. For the receivers, Devontae Adams ruptured hamstring. So we got the update. He will be out for six to ten weeks. I would imagine playoffs like out outside of fantasy. I can't imagine he comes back in as fantasy relevant. So I personally think Amanda: Very upset about that. Drew: Yeah, if you've got an IR spot and you don't need to use it for another player, you can try to hang on to him. but if you desperately need a roster spot and have to move somebody else into IR, I think you can probably drop Devontae Adams. That's Amanda: Mm. Drew: a really long time to hold a player that may not come back until after the fantasy season. Yeah. Amanda: Also, ruptured hamstring sounds gnarly. Like that sounds gnarly. Drew: Yeah, and he's gonna have cleanup surgery as well. So that did come out that he's gonna have to go under the knife and get some cleanup done. they just haven't scheduled it because they want to wait for some swelling to go down to see when the best time to do it is. Terry McLaurin, we mentioned season ending injury, so he's droppable. Mike Evans, it is Achilles tendonitis. Don't listen to what Shanahan said. He said, he might be available for week seven. That would be the most asinine, ridiculous, Amanda: Stupid. Drew: malpractice thing he could do is to play Mike Evans. Amanda: They're six and like Drew: Just let the dude I I would expect I think their bye week is coming up as well. So I would expect him what is their bye week? Will you look that up real quick? I would expect him to be out this week. It is next week, so Amanda: I can look it up. You keep going. Yeah. Yeah, it's next week. It's week eight. Yeah. Drew: yeah. I I can't imagine he's back until at least week nine. there's no reason to rush him back for this week. Romeo Dobbs went to IR. We talked about that. Rasheed Rice still not practicing as of Wednesday. Ameka Buka, concussion and foot injury, did not practice Wednesday. He's got a clear protocol by Sunday, so keep an eye on that. two Browns receivers, both rookies, both hurt still. K Sick Conception, Calf and Quad, Limited Wednesday. and Denzel Boston Foot also limited Wednesday. I would expect both of them to play this week. Jordan Tyson, still out. He is traveling. It says out here, but the last it came out yesterday was that he was traveling to Paris. Will you look that up real quick and see if you can see an Amanda: Hmm. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Drew: update? Tyler Warren, groin injury, still did not practice Wednesday after missing last week. And Christian Kirk. Case you guys don't remember him, he's been around for a while. He is on the forty niners. He could return from IR this week and might be fantasy relevant pretty quickly because they're down to backups of backups. So anything on Jordan Tyson? Amanda: No, he's he's he's not even practicing this week, so yeah. Mhm. Drew: Okay. So he's just going to go get some beignets, go get some croissants. Amanda: What's as he sh fucking should. Drew: Or to go to go riot in the streets like what's happening in France right now. Did you not know that? Amanda: I didn't know that. Drew: yeah. There's like there's protests and there it's not even protests, there's riots like all across the country. But it's France, so that happens every so many years. Amanda: Ooh. Yikes. All right. Well, I'm just gonna bet on him getting some beignets then, because that sounds lovely. Go enjoy you beignets, Jordan. all right, well Drew: Alright, that that's the injuries. Amanda: that's all we got for the injuries. We're gonna move and pipeline right into our week seven matchups. Keep in mind that our bye weeks are the Bills, the Jags, the Chargers, and the Commanders. Basically, your only relevant players here, Bills, Jags, a touch of the commanders. The Chargers. Don't worry. You didn't need to play them anyway. So now you just get an excuse to not have to fucking worry about it. It's just like Drew: Yeah, they saved you from not playing Lad McConkie in a Marine Hampton because Amanda: that, like, I don't have to make that decision. Lovely, I'd rather not, Drew: Correct. Amanda: anyways. All right. So we're gonna start with our Thursday night matchup. We have the New England Patriots at the Chicago Bears. They have sh Drew: Should be a good game. Amanda: I know, they have Chicago favored at minus three. I almost said negative three. At Drew: Favoured by three. Amanda: favored by three. Did I do it wrong? I was too worried about saying Thursday, damn it. Anyways, they have Chicago favored by three and the overunder is set at fifty point five. It is Drew: Beautiful over under. Amanda: a butte. All right, so I think from the New England Patriots, Drake May is a great start. Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: How do we feel about the Stevenson Henderson situation? Drew: It's not a great matchup. I Amanda: Mm. Drew: just can't imagine with the bye weeks and the injuries that you have better options for sure than Ramondre. Ramondre's gonna be in lineups. Unless Amanda: Agreed. Drew: you're in an like if you're in an eight team league and like have better options, great. For most people out there, you're not gonna have better options. Mind you Amanda: What if you had like a Henderson and AA Ron Jones? Drew: Aaron Jones. Amanda: Okay. Drew: Yeah, I'd play Aaron Jones. Stevenson's right around that twenty mark, so like you might have guys better than him this week, but I just I don't want to tell you not to play a guy because of a matchup. Both of them have been I mean, Henderson fumbled again last week. but again Amanda: I would say if anything, like I'm Stevenson I'm feeling way safer about putting in my lineup than Henderson. Also the Henderson Drew: Yes. Amanda: lingering inju i injury issues scare me a little bit too. Drew: Yeah. Henderson's a bit further down. Like I'm playing I'm playing Camara if he plays. I'm playing I'm playing Josh Jacobs for sure. Yeah. Amanda: What about Josh Jacobs if he comes back? Okay. Drew: I'm play if Josh Jacobs is starting, like if they come out and say no, he's a full go and he's starting, I'm playing Josh Jacobs no matter what. Like Josh Jacobs is in my lineup. Yeah. Amanda: Okay. I'd love I'd love that we got that one out of the way here early. Okay, AJ Brown, y you rock and roll and just hope he gets his I can't catch the ball bugaboo out of the way. Drew: Yep. He'll be fine. He he came back he came back a week early. You could tell he he wasn't moving very well. He yeah, Amanda: Fair, fair, ch he's a little jittery, nervous. Drew: he he wasn't moving well. He wants to it's yeah, he he'll be fine. Amanda: How do you feel? Where are you putting Pop Douglas in this conversation with Romeo Dubbs out? Is this a flex option? Good matchup. Okay. Drew: It's a flex option. I mean, it's not I'm not gonna force him in the lineup because he's been scoring touchdowns. Aren't sticky stats. You don't wanna chase him. but let me check here where I would have him at. Josh I I'd I'd play Amanda: Well I mean Vale, Coker, Jeremy. Drew: him over Josh Downs. Amanda: yeah, Josh Allen's and Kenan Allen. Tough matchup. Drew: Yeah, it depends on what I'm looking for. Keenan Allen up Boomer bust is Amanda: Okay, boom or bust, you're looking f pop Douglas. Drew: Demario Douglas 'cause he's got a higher probability score and touchdown. Keenan Allen could catch seven passes for fifteen yards in this game. So like it might be ugly, but if you y he could PPR you to a higher floor, Pop Douglas could go out and get three catches for twenty five yards and not Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: score touchdown and and brutally hurt you. Amanda: Yeah. Yeah. Drew: so yeah. Amanda: Okay. So AJ Brown lock it in, and then Pop Douglas is more of a situational based on your lineup. Moving to the I don't think we have to worry about Hunter Henry here. You've got better options. Drew: Not this week, it's a bad option. Amanda: Yeah. To the Bears. Caleb Williams. So this isn't the best matchup for him. You're starting him. What about Jordan Love? Drew: Yes. I don't care. I don't care. Amanda: Caleb Williams. Caleb Williams was hurt. You had Jordan Love. Cause I think this is okay, because like some people are rostering. Drew: Jordan Love. No, it's Jordan Love. Jordan Love plays Detroit. Amanda: Caleb Williams and like a CJ Stroud. Drew: I would play Amanda: I said it wrong again. Drew: you I would play k dunno. I Amanda: I think love and Stroud. I did it. Drew: I I think I play Cal I think I play Caleb over CJ. But but again, it's this Amanda: Overseas, it's just pure upside from his legs. Drew: is like these are like top eight ranked this week. Like these are like really Amanda: Yeah. It's a hard decision. Drew: good matchups or really good but I'm playing him over I'm playing Caleb over a bunch of guy like Bo Nicks or Kirk Cousins or Patty or Tyler Shuck or yeah, all these guys I'm I'm Amanda: yeah, God, yes. Bryce Young, Tyler Shuck. Yes. Drew: not I you know, I'm playing Caleb over them. Amanda: Yeah. DeAndre Swift is a lock and loaded situation. Luther Burden, in my opinion, lock and loaded as well. Drew: Okay. Amanda: How about I Roma didn't say I have questions. Drew: I have answers. Play Amanda: Okay, so okay, how about Omar Cooper? A lot of people picked him up. Merbadunte. Drew: Roma D Roma Dunse. Amanda: Okay. How about Jeremy Bernard? Drew: Jeremy Bernard. Amanda: Kendra Miller without a Camara. Drew: Roma Dunze. Yeah. I don't really want to play a New Orleans running Amanda: Okay. Khalif Raymond, full set. Drew: back against Pittsburgh. no, I'd play Amanda: Me either, but I think I have to. Drew: Rome. But yeah, as far as Jeremy's concern, we'll get to him later in the next matchup, Amanda: Jeremy Drew: but it's it's Jeremy. Amanda: Okay. And Colson Loveland. Drew: Yep. Amanda: Yeah, start, right? Drew: I I can't imagine you have better options. I it's not a great matchup, Amanda: Me either. What if you do I mean Drew: but I I think he's back. Amanda: I do too. Okay. And defensively, any option here. Drew: I think no. I think that I Amanda: I agree. Drew: I think I would pass on both of these. Amanda: All right, moving on to our Sunday game. This is international. We are playing in Perry. this is the Pittsburgh Steelers versus the New Orleans Saints. They have Pittsburgh favored at three and a half and the over-under set at forty-four point five. Drew: You did say nine thirty Eastern time, right? Amanda: I did not say 9 30 Eastern Standard Time is kickoff. It is a breakfast Drew: Okay. Just again, it's another nine thir yeah, it's another nine thirty AM. Amanda: and watched my Pittsburgh Steelers play football and I am very happy about my Sunday morning potential. Drew: ruining our pickleball time. Amanda: yeah, it is right in the middle of pickleball, but you know what? Sorry, not sorry. Okay. Well, I I had bigger things to do. Damn Drew: We haven't played in a month and a half. Somebody had to run a marathon. Amanda: it. okay, I think Aaron Rodgers is a wonderful streaming quarterback option if you've got a hurt quarterback or a quarterback on by. I know I had to reach into my for him to cover Allen and T Law. We're gonna ride it on a rod this week. Drew: Yeah, it's I I ha I picked him up to play last week for Lamar's second game that he missed. I I'm holding I held on to Aaron Rodgers 'cause I don't know if Lamar's gonna be there. So if Lamar's not there, I will pivot to Aaron Rodgers. I think he's an okay flex play this week or a streaming Amanda: I agree. Drew: play. Amanda: Jalen Warren, yes. Rico Dowdle, no. DK Metcalf and Jeremy Bernard, yes, and yes. Drew: Yes, absolutely. And that's a yes and yes in most lineups. Like yeah. Amanda: Yes, I I will I'm not even questioning like I would play Jeremy Bernard above like a Carnell Tate because like I think I like that option better. Drew: Yeah. I I yeah, we've got them ranked in the high tw like or low twenties, high twenties. Right around receiver twenty. I don't know how you say that, but right around receiver Amanda: mid twenties, yeah. High to mid. Drew: twenty to twenty five is where we have both of those ranked. So they should be in most lineups. Amanda: Most lineups, yes. how about tight end position? We watched it last week, right? People put Muth in and you just don't know who's getting the ball. I think you got better options, Drew: Man Yeah. Amanda: like a T J Hawkinson, in my opinion. Drew: I would prefer to have it's a good matchup, but there's two of them. And Fryermouth isn't the red zone guy, but Darnell's not always involved in the middle of the field. To me, Amanda: 'Cause he's gigantic. Drew: to me, I don't want to play either because I don't know Amanda: Meter. Drew: which one's gonna be which. So I think I would ra I would much rather have a guy that we know is the tight end on the team that gets most of the tight end targets. Amanda: Okay, cool. Let's move over to the Saints. We have Tyler Shuck as the first name here. I'm assuming he's a sit if you can. Obviously if you've got a quarterback on by and this is your only option. Okay. Would you go Dak Rogers Shuck? Where are we where are we gonna rank those? One, two, three. Drew: it would be Dak Rogers Shuck in that order. Amanda: Okay. In that exact order. Dak Rogers Shuck. Okay, cool. I know Tyler Shuck is definitely a high name that's been talked about a lot, so that's kind of where we have him then falling for starts this week. Drew: It it it might be Roger's Dax Shuck, but Shuck is third on the list. Amanda: Okay, okay. obviously, you know, Kendra Miller's there if you need a running back option. It is not a great matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Drew: If if all three running backs, CJ Donaldson, Alvin Kamara, which are both limited, and Kendra Miller are all three active, I am a full sit across the board. Amanda: Okay. So if you're RB desperate and you have questions between Miller, Rico, or Quorum, who you're gonna reach for? Drew: I would play Rico. I th assuming that all three Saints are active, I play r I play Rico. Rico's also limited, so make sure he's gonna play. But Amanda: Yes, yes, yes. Okay. Okay. Drew: I would play Rico because the matchup is better and he could take eight carries. He Amanda: One touchdown, I mean, yeah. Drew: could he could have eight or ten carries and do more with it. if Alvin or CJ is out, then I am okay playing Kendra or Alvin if you need Amanda: Okay. Chris Olave, lock and loaded, I'm not sitting Chris Alave. I I do think there's a conversation to maybe not play Vele this week. a Rome, a dunze ahead of Vlee, I think would be a a Drew: Yeah. Amanda: conversation. How about Keenan Allen, Ro Devon Vale? Drew: I probably play Vele just because it's not Minnesota. Amanda: Yeah, yeah. and then we already talked about Jeremy over him. So Juwan Johnson lock and loaded, even though we go Segja last week. Okay, Drew: Yeah, I think it's a I think it's a good I think it's a good play this week. Amanda: okay. And Pittsburgh Sailors defense would be a decent option in my opinion. Cool. Drew: Yes. Absolutely. Amanda: All right, San Francisco forty niners at the Atlanta Falcons. DraftKings has San Francisco favored at three and a half, and the overunder is set at fifty point five. High point scoring game. Interestingly enough. Drew: Yeah, that's I mean Atlanta's been s putting points up and Amanda: Yeah, that's true. Drew: giving points up. Amanda: Yeah, just considering the lack of forty niners currently, but Drew: It doesn't matter, still the forty niners. Amanda: Okay. CMC is an easy lock and loaded. Where are we putting Brock Purdy? In. Lock him in. Drew: in I I don't I until I see it until I see him not produce No. Amanda: I mean seventeen points didn't kill you last week. It was just disappointing. Drew: Yeah, but that I mean again Amanda: Not for me, 'cause I played against him and I won. So Drew: Yeah, but se seventeen points doesn't kill you. he didn't score ten. He didn't score single digits, 'cause yeah, i Amanda: No. No. Negative something like Shuck did. Drew: I I I play until I see multiple weeks in a row where the lack of weapons is really hurting him. So we have one bad half on the season. I'm not worried about it. Amanda: Shanahan is the smartest dude in the history of the world. He's gonna figure out how to figure it all out. Just a good coach. Drew: That's a bold statement. He's just a good head coach and good play caller, but Amanda: wide receiver room for the forty niners, out on all of them. George Kittle in for sure. Drew: Yeah, George Kittle is in. yeah, I'm not really interested in trying to guess between Cooks and Watkins and Kirk and Cowing and I just I don't want it. Amanda: No, Cowayen's a good name though. I like it. Okay. Atlanta Falcons. I I don't think you need to go down the Michael Penix Jr. rabbit hole. You have B. John Robinson as an easy Drew: No, no. Michael Panix was almost benched last week, it looked like. He was awful in the first half. Amanda: Yeah, I yeah, we don't need to worry about any of that. B. John Robinson, yeah, the mustard man, Drake London, huh. Cow Pity Pitts. Drew: I don't know how you go away from him. It's a terrible matchup, just to let everybody know. However, Amanda: Me either. It's so bad for the tight end position. Drew: he is the second tar like Amanda: Target. Drew: third he's the third option in that offense behind Bijan and Drake London. And they're gonna have to score points to keep up with the forty niners. So it might end up being garbage time, but I I think he's I think you play you stay in the flames until until he kills you, which it's Kyle Pitts, so that'll happen. Amanda: dark, okay. Drew: But yeah, I think you stay in the flames. I picked him up in one of my leagues this week and I have George Amanda: I tried. Drew: Kittle. I think I'm gonna play. I'm between playing because I've been flexing tight end. Amanda: Joan. Drew: Yeah, I I have been flexing, but I have I like the last couple weeks I've played Juwan and Vele in my flex because I've I've had bye weeks and injuries. I think I'm gonna throw Pitts in for either Juwan or Vele Amanda: Hmm. Drew: because I don't really want to put two two Saints in again, especially against Pittsburgh. So I think I'm gonna play him. Amanda: If I catch a scent from the couch, I'll know it's you because you stink like pity pits. Anyways. Drew: All right. forty niners defense I think Amanda: Yeah. Drew: is borderline. You can play them. Amanda: Borderline, I like it. Yeah. all right, Cincinnati Bengals at the Baltimore Ravens divisional matchup. They Baltimore favored at two and a half. Again, that favoring Baltimore means they think Lamar is coming back. And Drew: Correct. Amanda: the overunder is set at fifty one point five, which is great. Drew: Yeah, if if you ever have trying to figure out, you know, if a quarterback's gonna play or not, look at the team line and like are they f like for Baltimore. They're at home. If Lamar's there, they would be favored, right? Even if it's only by a point or two, like they would be favored. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: This is showing, this is confirming that Vegas thinks that Lamar's gonna play. last week it changed pretty early where they were favored. right off the rip and then by Wednesday they they flipped it to where Baltimore ended up. It went from like a four and a half or five and a half point line against Cleveland down to like a one and a half line, which showed they really didn't think Lamar was gonna play. Amanda: Yeah. the bagels are pretty easy here. You're gonna start Joe Burrow, Chase Brown, Jamar Chase, T. Higgins, all are gonna get locked in your lineup. I know Chase Brown has been disappointing, but he is getting all of the work. You cannot move away from that. Drew: Yeah. Well, I mean small cha's getting some of it, but still with Amanda: Yeah. Drew: the injuries and the and the bye weeks, I just I can't imagine you've got better options. Amanda: No, you do have better options than Mike Isicki. So tight Drew: Yes. Amanda: end wise, you have plenty of other options. If Lamar plays, you throw him in the lineup. It's a great matchup. Derrick Henry, yes, it's Lamar. And then yeah, no, you never do it. You just trust the Drew: Yep. It's Lamar. I don't care if the matchup's the worst matchup of the world, it's Lamar. That's like benching Josh Allen because he plays Minnesota. I don't care. No. Amanda: plot. Derek Henry, Zay Flowers, and then Mark Andrews is a good streaming option from a tight end. Would you play him over the Muth? Drew: Yep. Yeah, it's fine. yeah, because he gets all Amanda: Yeah. Drew: the work. Amanda: Would you play him over TJ Hawkinson? No, me either. Okay. Drew: one name to keep an eye on, not for this week, but going forward, Jacoby Lane. Amanda: Yes. Drew: He is back. He's a rookie receiver for Baltimore. Back again. Jacoby's back. Taylor, friend. Amanda: Guess who's back? He ha immediately came out hot and had a couple of receptions. Tell a fr Okay. Drew: no, he he looks good. He looked good in the first game of the year. Then he got Amanda: Yeah. Drew: hurt. So Lamar's gonna come back. I I'm excited for him towards the end of the year. Amanda: I mean, week six he had four receptions for forty yards. Like he wasn't e fucking relevant. Drew: E fucking relevant. You know irrelevant is spelled with an I, right? Amanda: Yeah, well I'm painfully aware, but I say that all the time and I just now rim realize that that's fucking up. Drew: All right. defenses are a no go for this game as well. Amanda: No. Tampa Bay at the Carolina Panthers. they have Carolina favorite at three and a half and the over underset at forty four point five. I don't even think you need to get if Baker plays, would you even go down that or do you think like a love, a stroud would be a better option? Drew: You're picking people at the top of the list. Of course. Love and Stroud are at the top of the list. No. Amanda: Okay, okay. How about like if you were in a quarterback situation where you had Lamar and you're like, is Lamar gonna play? What if he doesn't? And I have Huntley or Murray or Mayfield as my options? Drew: Well, they're all one o'clock games, so you're gonna know if Lamar doesn't Amanda: Okay, Drew: play. Amanda: so then who are you playing? Huntley, Murray, or Mayfield? Drew: who does v Indianapolis. probably Kyler Murray. Yeah. But like Amanda: Okay. Okay. All right. So basically we don't need to go down the baker rabbit hole. Drew: No, probably not this week. Amanda: No, I would also wait 'cause I want to see Baker actually be Baker and not what we saw before. Drew: Plus Eggbuka Eggbuka if he doesn't play Bucky with the illness. Amanda: Yeah. Bucky if he plays, obviously, yes. And then Emeka Buka if he plays, I play him too. that's it for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Panthers. Chuba Hubbard, Tet McMillan. That's beginning and ending. Drew: Yep. Yep. And Jay and Jalen Coker. Amanda: Jalen Coker, you think you can throw him into okay. Who are you like, give Drew: Yeah, I think you can play Jalen. Amanda: me the line of where you would play Jalen Coker compared to other people? Like Coke or Boston. Drew: I play Coker over Boston. Amanda: Coker Waddle. Drew: Coker. Seriously? That's not a loaded question. That's the easiest question Amanda: It's loaded question, yeah. it was an easy one. Drew: possible. Amanda: Keenan Allen Coker. Okay. trying to think of another one. Drew: Coker over Rome, Coper Coker over Cooper, over Michael Wilson. Amanda: Jeremy Bernard Coker. Drew: That's about the same level. Honestly they should both be in the lineup, probably. But I Amanda: Okay. Okay. Drew: would I'd probably play Bernard over Coker. But again, both of them are really good plays. Amanda: You can't call him Bernard. He's just Jeremy 'cause it's a great name. Drew: Bernard no, it's from Santa Claus. Bernard. He's the head elf. Amanda: Jeremy. Jeremy. Okay. And the Carolina Panthers defense? If Emeka Buka misses and Jalen Daniels plays, yes. Drew: Yeah, if if Baker's out and Igbuka's out and Buck like i yes, that's fine. also I do want Amanda: I think it's a a niche. Drew: to mention I am not big on Bryce Young this week, personally. Amanda: I also would agree. I think that there is better options out there this week. Imper I don't mean like you have to drop Rice Young, but I think you can sit him down this week and pivot elsewhere. Like I'd play Rogers over Young. Drew: Yeah, I would probably do that. I would play You're Welcome. I would Amanda: I like the voice crack on that, yeah. Drew: also play who did we just talk about? Baker. I don't know about that. Amanda: baker man, bake me a cake. Okay. New York Giants at the Houston Texans. They have Houston favored by ten. Drew: Yeah, this is wild. When I wrote I when I looked at this like I just saw it about an hour ago. Amanda: I didn't until right now! Drew: Yeah, I only saw it about an hour ago and this is fucking wild. I don't I don't I thought it was a mistake. Like ten points Day that is they are Amanda: So bad. Is that like their belief system in JJ McCarthy is a zero? Drew: shitting on JJ McCarthy right now if I have to check to I have to check to make sure that this is accurate. Amanda: And Harbaugh, they're like, you suck. You check. But here, just so for reference for for the listening audience, here are my notes for the New York Giants. Ew, I DK. Like it is just bad. Drew: It it's been bet to ten and a half. It's been bet up. Amanda: it's higher. Drew: It's been bet up to ten and a half. That is just gross. Also, I don't think that I would I'm pretty sure I would take the Giants with the points on this one. That's a huge line. Yeah, no, I don't think the Amanda: I yeah, just for fucking shits and gigs, yeah. Drew: Giants are gonna win, but like I don't think Houston's gonna win by ten and a half or eleven points. That's that's a lot of points in the NFL. Amanda: Yeah, also like at some point if they're that yeah. Ugh. Okay, anyways, I think the only person from the New York Giants I feel fully confident in playing is Malik Neighbors and Isaiah Likely. Drew: Yeah, you play both of them, but I don't feel confident until I see J.J. McCarthy do it against starters because to be fair, when he came in in the fourth quarter and, you know, looked good, the Saints had already pulled a lot of their starters. He legitimately was playing against backups during for most of that comeback. They eventually put the starters back in, but like that's also really hard to be taken out and sit there for over half a quarter and then come back in, you know, cold. So you're playing neighbors, you're playing likely, and you are Clenching those butt cheeks, hoping that J. J. McCarthy doesn't do what J. J. McCarthy does. Amanda: the butt cheeks are clenched, baby. Drew: from the Texan side, I would play CJ Stroud. See how I said it correctly. Stroud. Woody Marks, I would play him again. And Nico Amanda: What do you Nico? Drew: is the one receiver I play this week. I don't want to mess around with the rest of the Texans wide receivers until we see how it's gonna shake out. I think they're gonna rotate guys a lot. and then no Dalton Schultz and again hammer the Texans defense this week. Amanda: Hammer it, baby. All right. Indianapolis Colts at the Minnesota Vikings. They have Minnesota favored by six and a half. I also think this is a lot. And the overunder is set at 41.5. the defense. Drew: I think it's a lot just because Minnesota's offense is so inept. Amanda: Yes, that's what I'm saying. Is like Minnesota defense is great. I get that. But like the Vikings has had to like just kick field goals to win games, basically. Like Will Reichart like the winning, was one time I had him as my kicker. He outscored all of my receivers one week. Drew: I legit in one of my leagues, I legitimately so he was on bye week last last week, the Vikings were. I I held a kicker Amanda: Mm-hmm. You held on. I couldn't do that. Drew: that wasn't playing on my bench because I didn't want to lose him. Yeah, Amanda: That is like a sin for Drew Black for the record. Drew: kicker shouldn't be in fantasy. And I held him on my bench, took up a roster spot, and Amanda: I just dropped him. Drew: got another kicker because I didn't want to lose him because Kyler Murray can't put the ball in the end zone. Amanda: Well, some people aren't as lucky, okay? They didn't have any room to do that. Anyways, from the Colts, I think the only I mean, you're not setting Jonathan Taylor. Just temper your expectations. This is a shitty matchup. And I think Drew: J T. Yeah, you're playing J T. Yep. Amanda: Keenan Allen would be the only considerable wide receiver if you need somebody. Drew: Yeah, he's the one that we talked about that like if you need some type of a floor play, he would be the guy that could get ya, you know, six, seven, eight, nine, ten points right in that range. Amanda: At all six seven. Drew: nope, not doing that. Amanda: Okay, I have a question. Keenan Allen or Drew: You've asked me so many Keenan Allen questions. Amanda: wada waddle waddle waddle. Keenan Drew: Keenan Allen. Amanda: Allen. Okay, cool. That was a personal question. Drew: Yeah, I I don't you keep bringing wattle up, that's for you. I don't I don't have wattle anywhere. Amanda: I love bringing up. Well, no, so many people have waddle. And like Waddle is the like conundrum of like I goodbye. Okay. Do you really? I don't. I'm playing Keenan Allen. Maybe. I don't know. I haven't decided yet. All right. Kyler Drew: I I play Waddle over Allen. Yeah. I play Waddle over Allen. All right. Amanda: Murray and the Minnesota Vikings. Jones. Yeah, he's Drew: Kyler's an okay streaming option. Amanda: a fine streaming option. Jones and Mason. Are you, if they say, like what how do you feel about starting Mason first week back? Would you rather wait and see? Drew: if I have the luxury to, sure, but I would play Jordan Mason, assuming he is full go. I would play him over a lot of what's out there right now. Like an Amanda: All of the Saints guys. Drew: all of the Saints guys, I would do it over all of the Seattle guys, especially Amanda: Yes. Drew: if w assuming Sharps comes back, or even if Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: he doesn't, because Seattle's stupid. I would play him over Henderson, I would play him over Gainwell and I'd play him over all the Giants guys. I would play Amanda: Rico and yeah. Drew: him over Rico and you know, Blake Coram and yeah, I he he would be he would be Amanda: RJ Harvey. Drew: God, that's a tough one. Probably, yeah. Amanda: Yeah, I mean me too. Unless they just continue to commit to the plot of having Bonex check down passes. Drew: Yeah, 'cause I think it'll I think it's immediately gonna go back to a fifty fifty between Mason and Jones. And it's a good matchup. So I think fifty percent of that matchup Amanda: I agree. Jones is banged up too. Like his body's been hurting for a while. He needs a minute. Yeah. Drew: Yeah. Mason's a great trade for target. Amanda: Justin Jefferson, absolutely, if he plays, I mean he is limited with ankle, so just keep that an eye on that. And then how do you feel about Jordan Addison this week? I don't love it. I think Drew: Yeah. Not super great. Amanda: you have better options. There's I mean a coker over in Addison for sure. Drew: Yeah, if for some reason J J does not come back, which I expect him to, Amanda: Dan Addison. Drew: then obviously Addison would be a play. Amanda: Okay. TJ Hawkinson, we've talked about it already. Great streaming option if you need one for a tight end. Drew: It's not a great streaming option, I don't think. I think it's an okay one, but Amanda: Yeah, I didn't stutter. Drew: Yeah. Amanda: Okay. And the Minnesota Vikings. Yes. Drew: Vik Vikings defense, yes. Amanda: Absolutely. Okay. The Miami Dolphins at the New York Jets. I think this is probably a poopy poopy matchup. I'm not looking forward to. They have the J the Jets favorite at four and a half and the over under said at thirty eight point five. Drew: Yeah, it's gross. Amanda: Yeah. I think the only Miami Dolphin is Ollie Gordon and the two Jets, Braylon Allen and Garrett Wilson. Drew: Yep. yeah. I I don't Amanda: Yeah, that's it. And the Jets defense. Drew: think I play Omar Cooper this week. Amanda: I wouldn't I would wait and see. Drew: And Yeah, Sadiq could be a flyer, but I probably don't play him. And he's been hurt, so Amanda: No. Tell me you wouldn't play Hawkinson over Sadiq. Yeah. Okay. Drew: Yeah, correct. Forget I said anything. Amanda: Thank you. and the New York Jets defense is good to go. Drew: Yep. Yep. Amanda: Okay. Cleveland Browns at the Tennessee Titans. They have Cleveland favored by one and a half, which I think is rude. Yeah. Well, I still think they should be favored by more than that. Drew: On the road? Why would that be rude? It's on the road. Amanda: Yeah. Okay. Over under 38.5, which is fairly low. Drew: Yeah. Being favored on the road in the NFL is not a super common thing. So Amanda: Is San Francisco on the road? Drew: Yes. Yeah, it's San Francisco. Amanda: Three and a half favored. Who was favored by an egregious amount? Ten? Houston. they're not on the road though. Yeah. Drew: Houston they're at home. No, I I'm not saying it doesn't happen, it does. It's just not as common. And also like San Francisco is yeah, San Francisco is also a Yeah, Amanda: Pulled the receipts immediately from you. San Francisco. Undefeated. Drew: I think they're the Super Bowl favorite right now. Cleveland obviously is not, so Amanda: No, no, no, no. So from the Cleveland Browns, obviously I don't want any of the running back room unless for some reason Quinshawn Judkins came back, then it would be fine as long as he's fully healthy. Drew: In in deeper leagues, McLaughlin could be a potential flex, but also you gotta look to see if Dylan Sampson's back. There's just a lot going on there. Amanda: You know what? I just saw this like TikTok. I cause I love getting targeted by their social media teams and the Browns came up, their social media team, and they all opened those mystery squishies, those mystery dumplings. And it quite possibly might have just it made me so it was so cute. They were so cute. They were like all three of these friends opened up the last one to hope it was a glitter dumpling and it was, and they were all geeked out and it was adorable. and I I think Dylan Sampson was involved. Yeah, I know you don't, but it was cute as hell, and Drew: No idea what you're talking about. Amanda: I was in all right. So Denzel Boston, as long as he goes, I think that's a great start and that's Harold Fannon. I suppose you play him 'cause you have him, but it's not a good matchup. Yeah. Drew: That's a tough one. It's not a good matchup. So I would be looking at other places if I could. Amanda: TJ Hawkinson. You keep asking it. all right, the Titans. Drew: Yeah, this is not great. Amanda: So the the Titans. Drew: Tony Pollard's probably in your lineup. you know, again, I'm not gonna force him in, but in on most teams he's gotta be in. Carnell Tate is an okay start, and that is the end of the list for the Titans. Outside of I think you can play both defenses. I think the Browns are a for sure play, and I think the Titans are a pretty decent streaming play as well. Amanda: Okay. Okay. Tell me Carnel Tate, would you play him ahead of like the I don't know if we did this or not, but like I you're playing him above Josh Downs. You're playing him above Josh Downs. Drew: If you bring up the same names again, yes, I would play Carnell Tate over Josh Downs. Amanda: Okay. Drew: It doesn't seem like Josh Downs is ever gonna be a thing, so Amanda: No, I agree. okay, from Denver Broncos at the Arizona Cardinals, they have Denver favored at four and a half and the over under set at forty three point five. Denver Broncos, goodbye, Bonex. Drew: Yeah, it's a great matchup. Amanda: It is. Were you trusting Vo Nix? I wouldn't with a ten foot pole. Not a fucking chance. How about JK Drew: Not a there's no chance that I could ever do it. Nope. Amanda: Dobbins? Drew: Yes. Amanda: Agreed. RJ Harvey, situational if you really Drew: Yeah, yeah. Amanda: need a running back, I suppose, it's risky. Drew: If you need a bye week or an injury fill in, then it's better than some other options that are out there. Amanda: I think it's better than like O'Brien Robinson who is just the backup to B. John Robinson. Quorum. Drew: Yeah, it's better than that. I think it's better than Roshan. It's better than Corum, I think. But it's not but it's it's Amanda: I do. I mean they have to win this week and you know they're gonna go to Kyron Williams. Drew: I wouldn't, you know, I would play Woody and Aaron Jones and Mason and Ramondre over R J. Amanda: Great. Okay. Jalen Waddle. It's just terrible. Drew: If you have the stones to do it, it's a good matchup. Amanda: The kahunas, baby. Whoo, risk it for the biscuit. Drew: Yep. I just it's I mean I don't have him anywhere, so I don't have to worry about it. I'm feeling pretty good over here. Hey Amanda, you have Jalen Waddle and all you've Amanda: Yeah. Yeah. Drew: done is ask me questions about Jalen Waddle. Are you playing Jalen Waddle? Amanda: No, no, I'm gonna play Keenan Allen. Yeah. Drew: Okay. How about if you had Brandon Cooks with San Francisco, no Mike Evans? Amanda: No, no, no. I I would play Waddle. Drew: Hmm. How about Kendrick Bourne against Denver? Same game. Amanda: No, I I I would play Waddle. Drew: That's ridiculous. Amanda: I would play Drew: I would play Kendrick Bourne over Jalen Waddell. Guaranteed targets. Amanda: I would play Michael Wilson over Waddle. Drew: Y you say that. Go look at the target share. It's Amanda: I know, I already did, but I'd still do it. Drew: You'd play Wils you'd play Wilson over Bourne, even though the target share is just Born. Amanda: This is me in my superhero position and making that because it makes you feel powerful and confident. Drew: That sounds like some bullshit if I've ever heard it. Amanda: It's statistically proven. They've done studies on it. Drew: did you hear that in some like seminar or something? That seems like a seminar where the somebody teaches something but you have to pay a hundred and fifty dollars to listen to somebody talk. Amanda: Hey, Drew. It was a fully med study. No, I will PubMed study it for you. It was a whole thing. You know, they have a big go fuck yourself study too. Okay. Drew: You know they have studies on everything, right? Doesn't mean it's technically true. Probably. Amanda: All right, Arizona Cardinals. I don't know Jacoby Brissett. ruh. Drew: No, I the it's it's Kendrick in my opinion, it's Trey McBride, Amanda: Yes. Drew: Kendrick Bourne. And I think I I I don't I think that's it for me. I play Bourne over Michael Wilson. I do. It's the targets. He's guaranteed the targets. Jacoby Brissett's Amanda: You think you fool bench you play born over Wilson. All right. All right. Drew: finding him and he's not finding Michael Wilson. Amanda: Okay. Trey Trey obviously is locked and loaded. Denver Broncos defense. Yes. Drew: Yes, for sure. Amanda: Okay, cool. The Green Bay Packers at the Detroit Lions. They have Detroit favored by three and the over under set at fifty three point five. we've talked a lot about some of these guys. So Jordan Love, duh, Drew: Play all your options. Jordan Love, Josh Jacobs, if he obviously starts. Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, Tucker Kraft. I'm I'm playing all those guys. the only conversation Amanda: plays Matthew Golden, all of And then same thing. Drew: with the Packers would be Josh Jacobs. I'm my opinion is I am full go. If he's active, he will get all of the work and he is in the lineup as if he had been playing the last seven weeks. So I am a full. He top fifteen running back, put him in your lineup. What's your opinion? Amanda: Yeah. Yeah. I mean if I can wait and see, I'd love to wait and see, but I agree with you. I think he's a better option than most guys that you have options for right now. Drew: Yeah. Amanda: And you'd better t you'd be better off just taking a shot on him coming back like he left than taking a shot on a guy who isn't going to do that, right? Like this is the opportunity to be great. Drew: Wha okay, so let me ask, like so you're obviously your point was all o over these, you know, fringe guys, but Amanda: Mm. Drew: how about actual starting running backs? Would you play Josh Jacobs or Ramondre Stevenson? Amanda: I would play Josh Jacobs. Drew: Chase Brown. Amanda: No, I would play Chase Brown. Drew: I I would play Josh Jacobs. how about Ashton Genty? Amanda: Who do they play? Drew: The Rams. Amanda: I might take a flyer on Josh Jacobs. Drew: Okay. All right. Detroit Lions, again, you're playing the guys. You're playing Jared Goff, you're playing Jameer Gibbs, you're playing Amon Raw, Jamison Williams, and Sam Laporta. I think you're playing all of And I yeah, Amanda: I agree. And neither defense. Drew: I don't want these defenses are bad. Amanda: Don't play the defenses. Cool. the Los Angeles Rams at the Las Vegas Raiders. They have the Rams favored at four and a half and the over under on the road. Drew: On the road, that's disrespectful. Amanda: see here. And over under set at forty seven point five. Also, this is though, I'm looking at it from a fact of like the Rams have to win. Drew: The t the two and four Rams on the road against a five hundred team, it's three and three, it's a five hundred Amanda: Against what the five and yeah. Three and three. Drew: team, and to be four and a half points is disrespectful. Amanda: Yeah, so Drew: That I I'm gonna guess I'm gonna guess that that was bet that was bet up. I'm gonna guess it started at like a two and a half and it's been bet up since then. If I had to guess. Amanda: Yeah. I mean, you do look at it like we we talked about it before we recorded. Like Rams are back against the wall right now. they have to start winning or else they're just done. And yeah. So Matt Stafford, he's had a few disappointing weeks. He's been a stream and it hasn't been great. How do you feel about Matt Stafford now, even with with Adams out? And where does that put you for him? Drew: Good matchup, so I think he's he could be played. Amanda: Okay. Drew: I was wrong. It was bet down from five and a half. Amanda: holy shit. Drew: Yep. Amanda: Also, Matt Safford stalled a decent week last week. I didn't look at his twenty three point three eight half PPR points, so yeah. Drew: Yeah, I think Matt S I think Matt Stafford is a good play this week. Amanda: And Kyron Williams and Puka Nakua and I believe that's it. Drew: I think Tyler Higby's a really good streaming option this week. I know he didn't I know he had a bad week last Amanda: Okay. That was gonna be my next question is tight end. He didn't do well. Drew: week, but I I think it's a I think it's a good option this week. And then Amanda: Yeah, I'm just gonna keep that tight end name out of my mouth because apparently I am the fucking curse. Drew: And then I think Blake Coram is a deeper league flex play as well. Amanda: Did did you I'm s say that again? Drew: I think Blake Coram is a deeper league flex play this week. Amanda: Wanted you to say Blake Horm's name twice. Drew: I don't like Amanda: All right, moving over to the Las Vegas Raiders. Ash and Genty, it it's a fine Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: start if you for the running back position. I think that's really and Brock Bowers. Those are the only guys I'm going towards. Trey Tucker, deep level Drew: Yeah. That's that's all I'm willing to play. Amanda: shit, if you're really desperate, I guess, but negative. Drew: It's not a great matchup. I'm not chasing what he did last week. If if you need I'm not trying to plan this week. Amanda: Rams defense. Drew: yeah. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: Yeah, I think you can play him. Amanda: Okay. Kansas City Chiefs at the Seattle Seahawks. They have the Seahawks favorite at two and a half and the over underset at forty two point five. Drew: This is the Sunday night football matchup and in my opinion the Amanda: you know what I didn't realize we got there? Drew: last matchup of the week because the Monday night game is just trash and I don't want to watch it. So no. Maybe maybe Amanda: It is not great. Okay. Drew: stop putting the Cowboys on prime time. My God. So frustrating. Yeah. Amanda: They're America's team, apparently. all right. So for the Chiefs, I think we're looking at I don't think you need to go I I mean, I guess if Patty Mahomes is your starting Drew: I don't like Patty this week. Amanda: quarterback, but I think you have better options to put him on the bench. Drew: I I don't think he's anybody's sole starting quarterback. He hasn't been great in a couple of weeks. Yeah, but look at the last two or three weeks, he's not been Andy had a bye week. I yeah. Yeah, I I wouldn't play him. Amanda: I don't know. He came in Yeah, you're right. Probably had to be and he was on bye last week, so you might have picked a quarterback on bye, play that one. Okay. Kenneth Walker, duh. I almost said I wanted to put on a bet on him getting two plus touchdowns. And Drew told me that was foolish, but I like it. Drew: No, you asked if that was crazy and I said yes. I said any player I said Amanda: He confirmed the craziness. I'm unhinged. Drew: betting on any player two plus touchdowns is wild. Amanda: Whatever. Wide receiver room if Rashee Rice is out, Xavier Worthy, yes, no, maybe so. Drew: Yeah, I think he's in that Keenan Allen type range. it's a really, really good defense, so Amanda: Yes. Drew: I don't love any of the options to be honest with you, outside of Amanda: Seattle don't play. Yeah. Drew: Kenneth Walker. I think this is gonna be a lot of running the ball. and if Travis Kelsey plays, he is limited with an ankle. I would I would play him. Terrible matchup for Kelsey, but I I think he's they gotta throw the ball somewhere. Amanda: The Seahawks are pretty easy. No to Sam Darnold. No to their entire running back room. Yes to the one and only JSN, and we're done. I know I just wanted to add dramatics. Yes Drew: It's o it's only a yes to JSN. That's it. It's only a yes to JSN. Amanda: to JSN. Drew: I also believe that Kansas City is a good defense to play because Sam Darnold has been just throwing the ball to the other team a lot. I think s Amanda: Agreed. I think Kansas City too has like, don't they have like a couple good matchups back to back? I was looking at them from a defense and I was like, should I do it? well yeah, they have Seattle and then Denver and then the Jets. And then Atlanta, and then Arizona. It doesn't suck, honestly. I Drew: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I like it. I like it, Picasso. Amanda: like it, Picasso. Okay. And then our abysmal Monday night football game, Drew: All right. The trash Monday night. Mm-hmm. Amanda: Dallas Cowboys at the Philadelphia Eagles. They Dallas favorite at four and a half. And the over underset at forty four point five. I hope Dak gets a shift together, but he is a good start this week, as well as CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. You're starting Javante Williams. Yes, you're Drew: And Javante. Why do you skip the running back position? You did it again. Amanda: I don't know. I just pipeline into like the quarterback wide receivers. And then I'm like, I'll circle back. I'll circle back. Just like Drew: It it's listed straight down. Amanda: let your OCD take a minute and it'll be okay. It's not dyslexia. It's cray cray. I'm Drew: Let your dyslexia take a minute, 'cause apparently you have running back wide receiver up down dyslexia. Amanda: just I'm just like squirrel. I'm all over the place. Okay. And I don't think we need to go into Jake Ferguson unless you think that's a good streaming tight end start, but I think you have better options. Mm-hmm. Drew: No, I do have a question for you. Pickens or flanoy? Amanda: Pickens. Drew: You sure about that? Amanda: I am very sure about that. You sure about that? Are you sure about that? Drew: Okay. Have you looked at the have you look have you looked at what they've been doing? Amanda: I have, yes. And I think that if they don't get the ball to George Pickens, George Pickens will diva throw fit, as he should, and I think they're gonna get the ball to George Pickens. Drew: Last week, George Pickens six catches on eleven targets for seventy three yards. Flinoy seven for nine, forty yards and a touchdown. Amanda: They w do they want to win or do they want to lose? Drew: Week before that, let me just scroll down Amanda: Get the ball to pickens. Drew: to the primetime games 'cause that's the only thing that they play. week before that Pickens had a big week. Okay. Amanda: Mm. Who and d do they wanna win? Do they wanna lose? Do wanna win? Okay. They're the ball to fucking Georgie. Okay. Drew: Well, they lost the last two weeks, whether George got the catches or not, so Amanda: Okay. Philadelphia Eagles, Devontae Smith. Dallas Goddard. Drew: Yes. Yes. That's all I'm willing to play. Amanda: That's it. We're assuming Saquon Barkley's not playing. If he did play, would you play him? Yes, same. Drew: Yeah. Yeah, it's a great matchup, but yeah. And then like Damian Pierce, if Saquon's not there, I think you can play him. He's if he g he's getting all of the work Amanda: All the work, yeah. Drew: and Dallas's defense is awful against running backs, so I think you could volume your way to a decent scoring week. Amanda: Okay. and neither defense? Drew: I would love to be able to say yes to the Cowboys, but I can't I can't Amanda: I will not get burned again, damn it, me either. Drew: no. Amanda: All right. Well, that is all for our week seven matchups for week number seven. Drew: Week seven. It's a week seven matchups for week seven. Amanda: Just to be really redundant, if you didn't know, guys, it's week seven. Drew: Absolute wordsmith. Amanda: Absolutely. I'm just great at it. All right, we have our final segment. It is for better or worse, our weekly prop bet challenge. Who's in the lead? Drew: Yep. well, last week, I went two and one. Matthew Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: Golden hit the over, George Kittle also hit the over on yards, and then Jordan Love, and this is the wildest shit ever. I had Jordan Love completion over forty and a half yards. He hit a thirty seven yarder immediately. And it was it if if Golden didn't get pushed to the side because it was right by the corner, like it was in front of the end zone. If if he fell forward instead of fell to the side and out of bounds, it's a forty one yarder and it's a touchdown, and I already get it. Like a couple possessions later, Love hits a like 55 yarder, gets called back for a penalty. And then that was it. So lost that one. So I went two and one. Amanda also went two and one. Kirk Cousins did hit the over in garbage time. CMC, CMC barely made it over the one ten. He had like what one sixteen or something, one seventeen, Amanda: One seventeen or something. Drew: and Marshawn Lyod, which is still written wrong in here. Marshawn Lloyd. Yeah, Marshawn Lloyd, Amanda: Well he did lie on it. He lied. He's bad. Drew: you had the over forty, and I think he had like ten on eight carries or something. So, on the season that brings our score to Drew at ten and nine and Amanda at eleven and eight. So you're still hanging on to that one point lead. Amanda: Living out of prayer, baby. Drew: Living on our prayer. So let's start with you. What are your bets of the week? Amanda: Absolutely. I'm gonna take Bo Nicks under 220.5 passing yards. Drew: That's gonna lose. Amanda: I like to shit on somebody and I'm just gonna shit on Bo Nicks this week. Ollie Gordon, I have him over 48.5 rushing yards. And as long as Denzel Boston plays, I'm taking Denzel Boston over three and a half receptions. If for some reason Denzel Boston gets ruled out, my pivot is Carnell Tate over four and a half receptions. Drew: Very good. Well I can't root for you to go over three 'cause obviously I want Boston to hit the over on that. Amanda: I did that strategic. St strategery. Drew: You've been on the Browns the last week or two. You've got a lot of that you like. Amanda: It happens every year. This happened last year when me and Ange did this and like we always found ourselves like wanting to bet I think it's because like at my core, right? I do love a fucking underdog. Ew No, I love an underdog moment. Okay. Drew: You're a Browns fan. At at your exactly at you like the you want to you want to be you love the underdogs and yet you're a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, who are the least underdog you can possibly be. Amanda: yes, I love the underdogs when it's not my team. Drew: bandwagon. Amanda: Bandwagon? You can't say that. It's Drew: Yeah, I said it. I know. Amanda: like statistically untrue. Drew: Statistically. that's you and statistically. All right. Amanda: I know, once I latch onto a word and it's just game over, guys, I don't apologize. Drew: This week, my three bets are from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jeremy Bernard over Amanda: Pittsburgh fan. Drew: four and a half receptions. also, in case you guys want to know, DK is also hit his line is also four and a half. I almost went both of them. I think they're both great hits this week. but I went with Jeremy. Amanda: Jeremy Drew: CJ Stroud over one and a half passing touchdowns. So I need two from him. And Puka Nakua over seven and a half receptions. It's over. Really high line, but they're gonna play pissed off this week. I was because Amanda: You were really torn on this one. Like, yeah. Drew: the line's so high and without Devontae, you th that was your point when I said, Man, I don't know if I want to do this one 'cause the line's so high, you're Yeah, but they don't have Devontae. That's not necessarily a good thing. That means that they Amanda: No, I don't. Drew: can just focus on taking Puka away. but I they're gonna play with their hair on fire and pissed off. And if their team is any good at all, they will dominate this week. So Anyway, that is what we have for for better or worse and let's all root for me to go three and this week.
