- 0:01Speaker 1: Bras On Big ninety eight point seven is going on
- 0:05Speaker 1: all month long, and for part of broz On Big,
- 0:09Speaker 1: one of the focal points is reminding ladies to schedule
- 0:12Speaker 1: those health checks, those appointments, those vital appointments, and our
- 0:17Speaker 1: very own Angie here from Big ninety eight point seven
- 0:19Speaker 1: scheduled her very first mammogram.
- 0:23Speaker 2: I want you to kind of go through it with us, Angie.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Like for me, for example, right, I've never scheduled a mammo, Graham,
- 0:28Speaker 1: I don't even know what's the first thing you do.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Yes, you know a little play by play of what happened.
- 0:33Speaker 3: Well first, Like I just didn't even know what to expect, right,
- 0:37Speaker 3: I feel like I've only ever seen any talk about
- 0:39Speaker 3: mammograms on like TV and you know, movies. But I
- 0:43Speaker 3: didn't know what I was getting myself into. The thing is,
- 0:47Speaker 3: I did know, like based on the patients that we've
- 0:49Speaker 3: met and the people we've met and worked with from
- 0:52Speaker 3: Essential Health, I knew I was gonna be in good hands,
- 0:55Speaker 3: that's right, that I knew from Jump.
- 0:57Speaker 4: So I get there. I scheduled appointment.
- 1:00Speaker 3: That was easy peasy, And I get there and I
- 1:03Speaker 3: sign in and immediately I'm greeted by. Her name was Kelsey,
- 1:08Speaker 3: and she was such a dream like I want her
- 1:11Speaker 3: to be my friend in real life.
- 1:12Speaker 4: She was so kind. And we walk over.
- 1:16Speaker 3: To you know, the place the police where the mammogram
- 1:20Speaker 3: takes place, and what a great The lighting is nice
- 1:23Speaker 3: and like low, it's like a really nice, am Beyonce,
- 1:27Speaker 3: not these like bright lights where it's like this clinical.
- 1:30Speaker 3: You're in a lab, which immediately like made me feel comfortable,
- 1:34Speaker 3: which was nice. So you go in the room and
- 1:38Speaker 3: she's explaining basically how it's all gonna go. You're gonna
- 1:41Speaker 3: change into this robe, You're going to then go over
- 1:46Speaker 3: to this machine. I'll explain all the machine, how that works,
- 1:49Speaker 3: that whole thing. But then asked me first and foremost,
- 1:53Speaker 3: like what are what do you have questions about?
- 1:56Speaker 2: How are you feeling? What are your thoughts?
- 1:58Speaker 3: And so I got to just kind kind of say,
- 2:00Speaker 3: you know, well, I felt I had been feeling some
- 2:05Speaker 3: a kind of what I thought was maybe sort of
- 2:08Speaker 3: a lump, you know, in checking myself in preparation for this.
- 2:13Speaker 3: I was like, let me give myself a self check.
- 2:14Speaker 3: I don't know, And so she you know, took that
- 2:17Speaker 3: down like okay, well, we'll make sure to check that.
- 2:20Speaker 3: And then it was time to change and get into
- 2:24Speaker 3: the robe and start the whole process. And let me
- 2:27Speaker 3: tell you the joy it was when she hands me
- 2:30Speaker 3: this robe and it's nice and toasty. They keep the
- 2:35Speaker 3: robes in a warmer so that when they gave them
- 2:38Speaker 3: to you, it feels like you're putting on a snuggie,
- 2:40Speaker 3: Like it's nice and cozy and you feel super comfortable.
- 2:45Speaker 3: And there's these little wipes, these wipes to take off
- 2:48Speaker 3: your deodorant because fun fact, well not fun, but like
- 2:52Speaker 3: a fact is that sometimes deodorant can read as a
- 2:55Speaker 3: false positive for like cancer.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Oh sure, So it was.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Like you can use the wipes take off the but
- 3:01Speaker 3: then afterwards they have these other wipes that are like
- 3:04Speaker 3: deodorant refresher wipes, so that you can put some deodorant
- 3:08Speaker 3: back on. And so I liked that too. So I'm
- 3:11Speaker 3: in the robe. I'm like nice and fresh and ready.
- 3:14Speaker 3: She comes back in. She explains the whole thing. And
- 3:17Speaker 3: the big thing that I think people get like scared
- 3:20Speaker 3: of is like, is this machine gonna squash me like
- 3:25Speaker 3: a pancake?
- 3:26Speaker 4: You hear, like the horror stories?
- 3:28Speaker 3: Not, I mean it does definitely have to like flatten
- 3:32Speaker 3: you out a bit, and.
- 3:33Speaker 2: She explains, like why pure, but.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know.
- 3:36Speaker 4: That felt fine to me.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Yeah, that felt fine and like it didn't feel so
- 3:42Speaker 3: daunting because she was talking with me the entire time,
- 3:45Speaker 3: asking me, you know, about my life and my family,
- 3:48Speaker 3: and it kind of just felt like I was topless
- 3:51Speaker 3: but on a coffee date with my friend. Sure, And
- 3:55Speaker 3: then before I knew it, all the pictures were taken,
- 3:58Speaker 3: all the scans were done, and then I was like, cool,
- 4:00Speaker 3: we're done. Do you have any questions? What do you
- 4:04Speaker 3: need to know?
- 4:04Speaker 4: You know whatever?
- 4:05Speaker 3: And she let me know, you'll get the results in
- 4:07Speaker 3: one to two days. I haven't checked my my chart yet,
- 4:10Speaker 3: so I need to do that. But yeah, and then
- 4:12Speaker 3: that was it, and then I got to change and
- 4:15Speaker 3: then they give you a goodie bag that has all
- 4:18Speaker 3: kinds of cool stuff in it, including these really delicious
- 4:23Speaker 3: dark chocolate squares. Like I walked out of there feeling
- 4:27Speaker 3: like A I wanted Kelsey to be my best friend
- 4:30Speaker 3: and B like did I actually go for a medical
- 4:34Speaker 3: thing or did I just kind of like hang out
- 4:36Speaker 3: for a while, right, And so it wasn't scary. Ten
- 4:40Speaker 3: out of ten recommend because obviously, if there is something
- 4:43Speaker 3: you want to know and the process to check is
- 4:47Speaker 3: not as daunting as.
- 4:48Speaker 4: Maybe it's I think the fear in people's.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Heads like it creates a dread like, oh, but what
- 4:54Speaker 3: if there's something wrong, and well, A, you want to know,
- 4:57Speaker 3: but B the process of getting checked is actually really
- 5:01Speaker 3: simple and they make you feel essential health like they're
- 5:04Speaker 3: the goats.
- 5:05Speaker 4: They make you feel.
- 5:06Speaker 3: As comfortable as humanly possible, where you walk out of
- 5:10Speaker 3: there and you didn't feel like, uugh, I had to
- 5:12Speaker 3: get a mammogram today.
- 5:15Speaker 4: Let me tell you, I walked.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Out of the tooth filling. No, I walked out of.
- 5:19Speaker 3: There and I couldn't wait to tell my entire family,
- 5:22Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, I went and I got my mamogram
- 5:24Speaker 3: and like to tell them how like fun it was
- 5:26Speaker 3: and how great. And I know that's fun sounds like
- 5:29Speaker 3: an extreme word to describe a mammogram, but I'm telling you, like,
- 5:33Speaker 3: it was just so chill that if you've been putting
- 5:37Speaker 3: off getting a screening, like don't don't, just do it,
- 5:41Speaker 3: you'll be happy that you did it. And honestly, you're
- 5:44Speaker 3: just gonna feel like you walked to your friend's house
- 5:47Speaker 3: or something to hang out and then you leave and
- 5:50Speaker 3: turns out you got screened and that's like super important.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Yeah, well, thank you so much for doing that.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I know when the month rolled around and we knew
- 5:59Speaker 1: bras on Big going to be back, there was talks
- 6:01Speaker 1: about you potentially going to do this, and you know,
- 6:04Speaker 1: you I don't know what the word was, what the
- 6:07Speaker 1: word is or whatever, but you were down to do it.
- 6:09Speaker 1: You went through with it. You know, you didn't kind
- 6:11Speaker 1: of back out or around.
- 6:12Speaker 4: And I was nervous.
- 6:13Speaker 3: I understand the nervousness, but honestly, like, once I did it,
- 6:17Speaker 3: and I had our sales director, she went with me.
- 6:21Speaker 3: She's been through the mammogram process before and she helped
- 6:24Speaker 3: me document this whole thing. So I'm gonna post later
- 6:28Speaker 3: on Big ninety eight point seven's Facebook page just how
- 6:31Speaker 3: great this experience was with Essential Health and getting my mammogram.
- 6:34Speaker 3: And also I still have some candy left from my
- 6:36Speaker 3: goodie bag, so I need to I need to get on.
- 6:38Speaker 2: That bra It's on.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Big ninety eight point seven is back and bigger than ever,
- 6:42Speaker 1: as we've teamed up with the Essential Health Foundation, DS
- 6:45Speaker 1: Beverages and Corwin Automotive group. Angie got her first mammogram.
- 6:51Speaker 1: If you are kind of putting it off, you can
- 6:54Speaker 1: hear it right here on Big ninety eight point seven
- 6:56Speaker 1: to make sure you schedule it and get it done
- 6:58Speaker 1: because it's not It doesn't have to be this anxiety
- 7:02Speaker 1: riddled thing.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Yeah no, and you're in great hands with Essential Health
- 7:11Speaker 3: gave this weekend.
- 7:12Speaker 2: I became a real adult. Wow in that.
- 7:19Speaker 3: And I got myself a Costco membership, And now I
- 7:25Speaker 3: feel like I'm a real mom.
- 7:27Speaker 4: I'm a real woman.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Because I can go to Costco and I got the
- 7:31Speaker 3: executive membership so I can go, Wow during that one.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Hour is there for two instead of five?
- 7:40Speaker 3: Executive I think there's like a day like where there's
- 7:44Speaker 3: like an hour where people with the executive membership can
- 7:47Speaker 3: go there and shop where it's less crowded.
- 7:49Speaker 4: I don't know. I just was like, it looks shiny,
- 7:51Speaker 4: and I was like, that's the membership. Buy one.
- 7:53Speaker 1: I don't even know the one we have at the
- 7:54Speaker 1: Glynten House. I have to ask Corey. I'm not even sure.
- 7:56Speaker 3: See, but you were already Costco members. I was jealous
- 7:59Speaker 3: and so I had to join. And it feels really
- 8:02Speaker 3: exciting because it's like me and my boyfriend Mikey were
- 8:06Speaker 3: both on it, and it's like, oh, it's a joint thing.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Oh oh wow, it is yeah, very but yeah, and
- 8:13Speaker 3: then I spent a wild amount of money and I'm
- 8:15Speaker 3: immediately regretting my decision. But yes, I'm an adult now
- 8:18Speaker 3: because I have a Costco mesorship.
- 8:21Speaker 1: You're not a mean mom, You're a real mom. Yeah,
- 8:24Speaker 1: my little Victory. I saw a real conn of Stoga
- 8:27Speaker 1: wagon in the wild yesterday. Corey and I made a
- 8:31Speaker 1: very short drive over to Fort Ransom State Park yesterday
- 8:36Speaker 1: kind of in the middle of the afternoon. It was
- 8:39Speaker 1: like an hour or so from Fargo. Oh non, I
- 8:42Speaker 1: got to see a real conn of Stoga wagon, which
- 8:44Speaker 1: was pretty cool. Something straight out of Oregon Trail, something
- 8:47Speaker 1: straight off the Pioneer that you'd see in your your
- 8:51Speaker 1: favorite movie or something.
- 8:52Speaker 3: I think it's very interesting that you say Oregon instead
- 8:56Speaker 3: of Oregon. Oh.
- 8:58Speaker 1: I probably normally do just say Oregon normally, but we
- 9:01Speaker 1: put a little emphasis on that one today.
- 9:04Speaker 4: That's cool, though. I want to go I'm gonna tell
- 9:06Speaker 4: you know what's gonna happen.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Is I'm gonna go home and tell Mike who's like
- 9:10Speaker 3: super into like history and state parks. Yeah, and I'm
- 9:13Speaker 3: gonna say, well, Gabe went to Fort Ransom and he's
- 9:15Speaker 3: gonna be sound jealous. Yeah.
- 9:17Speaker 1: They have like the some of the longest hiking trails
- 9:20Speaker 1: in the entire state of all that's fun.
- 9:23Speaker 2: I want to go do.
- 9:24Speaker 1: That is what I was reading on all of the
- 9:27Speaker 1: you know, they have the book all the signs, Yeah,
- 9:29Speaker 1: signs and what have you.
- 9:30Speaker 2: So it was very cool.
- 9:30Speaker 1: We had a little family day at state park yesterday
- 9:33Speaker 1: Fort Ransom State Park where I saw Conna Stoga wagon,
- 9:37Speaker 1: which I didn't know if I'd ever see one out
- 9:38Speaker 1: in the wild. No.
- 9:39Speaker 3: I thought that feels like it's only in like movies
- 9:42Speaker 3: and TV that you would ever see one.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Yeah, that's not something only in dances with wolves or something.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Pretty cool to see. And now I can say I
- 9:50Speaker 1: have been there. Halloween, one of the biggest candy days
- 9:59Speaker 1: of the year, is only eighteen days away.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Isn't that kind of crazy?
- 10:04Speaker 1: That is insane. It's not too far. We're already halfway
- 10:07Speaker 1: through October. I feel like October just started. Oh, I know,
- 10:12Speaker 1: almost October fifteenth.
- 10:13Speaker 2: That's right.
- 10:14Speaker 4: October fifteenth is my kid's birthday.
- 10:16Speaker 2: That's what.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, he's gonna be fifteen times flying too fast.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Okay, but yes, Halloween, Halloween, Angie, you h at one
- 10:23Speaker 1: point in your time, I'm assuming you went out and
- 10:27Speaker 1: about dressed in your sweet little costumes. Yeah, went door
- 10:31Speaker 1: to door and did the old trick or treat right, Yes,
- 10:34Speaker 1: the first time. I will never forget this, the first
- 10:36Speaker 1: time I went trigger treating. The first house that I
- 10:39Speaker 1: the tricker treating that I remember. Yeah, I was like
- 10:41Speaker 1: old enough to go without having a you know, a parent, no,
- 10:46Speaker 1: but being like held on to by my mom's seven. Yeah,
- 10:49Speaker 1: I could actually walk to the door myself. I did
- 10:52Speaker 1: the trick or treat, smell my feet, get me something
- 10:55Speaker 1: good to eat. If you don't, I don't care. I'll
- 10:58Speaker 1: pull down your underwear. I did the whole thing. Yeah,
- 11:00Speaker 1: not just like trick or treat you went through the hall.
- 11:03Speaker 1: I went through the whole song and dance. And my
- 11:05Speaker 1: mother was mortified. So I did get to go to
- 11:07Speaker 1: the door by myself anymore. I think it was like four.
- 11:10Speaker 1: But I was wondering when you go to the door
- 11:12Speaker 1: growing up as a kid, what is the best Halloween candy?
- 11:17Speaker 1: What do you want to see dropped in that bag
- 11:20Speaker 1: because Cory and I love handing out candy. We think
- 11:25Speaker 1: it's great, you know, to see the kids have fun. Yeah,
- 11:27Speaker 1: once in a while, I'll give the parents like a
- 11:29Speaker 1: bush light if they want one, if they ever stopped.
- 11:31Speaker 4: My mind tick treated your Yeah.
- 11:33Speaker 1: I've done this for sure, and so I just want
- 11:37Speaker 1: to know what do the kids want?
- 11:39Speaker 3: All right?
- 11:40Speaker 1: Seven on two eight zero one to nine eight seven?
- 11:43Speaker 1: What did you always look forward to getting when you
- 11:45Speaker 1: were growing up and you want rulers? What?
- 11:47Speaker 3: It is?
- 11:48Speaker 2: Probably what you want.
- 11:50Speaker 1: No.
- 11:50Speaker 3: I did go trigger treating once and a woman was
- 11:53Speaker 3: handing out twenty four packs of Creole La Creons, which
- 11:57Speaker 3: I did think was dope because.
- 11:58Speaker 4: I love to drop.
- 12:00Speaker 3: But back in the day, for me, if I could
- 12:04Speaker 3: walk away with a Baby Ruth or a Twix, yeah,
- 12:08Speaker 3: I thought I was winning in life.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Growing up, my favorite was if I could get you know,
- 12:13Speaker 1: there's the individual Reese's cups.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:16Speaker 1: I always thought, Okay, this is what I got to remember.
- 12:19Speaker 1: When I'd get like just a regular Reese's two cup
- 12:22Speaker 1: candy bar, yeah, wherever you want to call it, that's
- 12:25Speaker 1: when I thought I'd hit the lottery.
- 12:27Speaker 4: I feel like these days.
- 12:28Speaker 3: I have always tried to be the house in the
- 12:32Speaker 3: I want to say in the last like ten years,
- 12:34Speaker 3: maybe eight out of the ten years, I was definitely
- 12:36Speaker 3: the house that always gave out king sized candy bars.
- 12:41Speaker 3: That's pretty good, yeah, because I wanted everyone to revere
- 12:45Speaker 3: my home as that's.
- 12:47Speaker 4: The lady that gives out king size candy bars. Right on.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Well, hey, if you are an adult and you walk
- 12:52Speaker 1: by my house this year and you would like a
- 12:55Speaker 1: bush light and or whatever I have there, I will
- 12:58Speaker 1: give you one if you would like, And I will
- 13:00Speaker 1: also allow your children to have the candy that my
- 13:03Speaker 1: wife hands them. Robert, what would you consider the best
- 13:07Speaker 1: Halloween candy? Man? You gotta be Reese's Peanut buttercuffs.
- 13:11Speaker 2: They're just the all time best candy. You gotta watch
- 13:13Speaker 2: you out for peanut allergies though, Other than the yeah,
- 13:18Speaker 2: so just be careful what's you're handing out? That is
- 13:20Speaker 2: a good reminder. Actually, yeah, well.
- 13:22Speaker 4: I feel like that the burden there is.
- 13:24Speaker 2: On the parents.
- 13:25Speaker 4: Truly check your kids Halloween candy.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, what about you? Angela?
- 13:29Speaker 1: Snickers?
- 13:30Speaker 4: It's the perfect man.
- 13:31Speaker 3: It's got chocolate, caramel, a little crunch and it seems
- 13:34Speaker 3: like an actual.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Treat and not just some kind of filler candy. You
- 13:38Speaker 2: know how we have the bowl up front at work,
- 13:40Speaker 2: of course, I know how we have the candy.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Well, there are snickers in there, those little bite sized snickers.
- 13:46Speaker 2: I I could.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Actually just do the rest of my work up there
- 13:50Speaker 1: for the day and not care about my belt feeling
- 13:53Speaker 1: tighter every five minutes.
- 14:00Speaker 3: The problem this is, am I, the problem where you
- 14:03Speaker 3: send us your side of the story and we help
- 14:06Speaker 3: you figure out if you're in the right or if maybe,
- 14:10Speaker 3: just maybe you're the problem. By the way, if you
- 14:12Speaker 3: ever want to send us one, you can head to
- 14:14Speaker 3: Big nine eighty seven dot com, click on the on
- 14:16Speaker 3: air tab and submit yours. Tyler wrote into us, and
- 14:21Speaker 3: he used his name, which makes me think, like you
- 14:24Speaker 3: think it's a generic enough name because this.
- 14:29Speaker 1: I don't know if it's a generic enough problem though, that's.
- 14:32Speaker 4: What I'm saying.
- 14:33Speaker 3: I don't know. Well he said his there was Tyler,
- 14:35Speaker 3: So it's too late now, Hi, Gabe, Hi, Angie, love
- 14:38Speaker 3: the show. Looking for some validation on a situation that's
- 14:42Speaker 3: making me look like a bad brother and son.
- 14:46Speaker 1: You know what, Tyler, I like validation too, so whatever
- 14:49Speaker 1: it is, you're right.
- 14:50Speaker 4: Okay, well just wait until you hear it.
- 14:53Speaker 3: My big brother is planning to propose to his girlfriend
- 14:56Speaker 3: this weekend, which is awesome. Where the issue lies is
- 15:00Speaker 3: that he asked to borrow my car because he says
- 15:03Speaker 3: it looks nicer for the photos.
- 15:05Speaker 4: I told him no.
- 15:07Speaker 3: He borrowed my charger last year and scraped the side.
- 15:12Speaker 4: Took him months for him to pay me back.
- 15:15Speaker 3: Now he's mad and saying I'm being petty and not
- 15:18Speaker 3: supportive of his big moment. I offered to drive them
- 15:22Speaker 3: to the restaurant and pick them up afterward, but he
- 15:25Speaker 3: wants the car for.
- 15:26Speaker 4: The whole weekend.
- 15:29Speaker 3: My mom is texting me to stop being materialistic and
- 15:33Speaker 3: put family first. Am I the problem here? Or am
- 15:37Speaker 3: I just setting a fair boundary? I think that's well,
- 15:42Speaker 3: I think it's a both, and I think it is
- 15:45Speaker 3: a fair boundary. But I think it's a petty one.
- 15:48Speaker 3: And I love petty, so I kind of support this.
- 15:51Speaker 3: But I don't know. Man, It's like, your brother is
- 15:57Speaker 3: gonna propose. He wants the car, like, just do especially
- 16:01Speaker 3: if it's making your mom upset, Like.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Just do it?
- 16:05Speaker 1: No, what if Tyler has things he has to do
- 16:07Speaker 1: that weekend. He can't just not have a car for
- 16:10Speaker 1: seventy two hours. You can trade cars with his brother.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Maybe he doesn't well, he clearly doesn't want to drive
- 16:15Speaker 1: around his brother's hunka jungle.
- 16:17Speaker 4: It's not even good enough.
- 16:18Speaker 2: For engagement photos.
- 16:20Speaker 1: If it's not good enough for engagement photos, you're not
- 16:23Speaker 1: gonna catch me roll down forty fifth ave in that
- 16:26Speaker 1: bad boy.
- 16:27Speaker 2: I'm trying to look cool.
- 16:29Speaker 3: I just think in the grand scheme, like, what is
- 16:33Speaker 3: he really gonna scrape the car again? You don't think
- 16:36Speaker 3: your brother learned from the first time trash it driving?
- 16:40Speaker 1: Hey, fool me once, Shame on you, fool me twice,
- 16:44Speaker 1: Shame on me.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Okay, I wouldn't give him nothing.
- 16:47Speaker 4: Okay, Well what do you think?
- 16:49Speaker 3: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven
- 16:52Speaker 3: Tyler doesn't want to lend his brother his car for
- 16:56Speaker 3: his big proposal weekend because one time last year he
- 17:02Speaker 3: scraped the side of his car. Is he being too petty?
- 17:05Speaker 3: Should he let it go? What are your thoughts? We
- 17:08Speaker 3: also posted this to the Big ninety eight points of
- 17:10Speaker 3: in Facebook page if you.
- 17:11Speaker 4: Want to drop a comment there.
- 17:18Speaker 3: So Tyler wrote into us asking if he was the problem.
- 17:21Speaker 3: His brother is getting engaged this weekend and asked, Hey, Tyler,
- 17:25Speaker 3: can I borrow your car? Because your car would look
- 17:28Speaker 3: better in the photos. Tyler said no because last year
- 17:33Speaker 3: his brother borrowed his car, scraped the side of it,
- 17:36Speaker 3: and it took him months before he ever paid his
- 17:39Speaker 3: brother back for it.
- 17:40Speaker 4: So now he is saying, you're trying to ruin my
- 17:43Speaker 4: engagement and.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Even Mom is texting Tyler saying, please stop being materialistic,
- 17:48Speaker 3: put your family first. So he wants to know is
- 17:52Speaker 3: he the problem or is he setting a fair boundary?
- 17:55Speaker 1: Tyler needs to tell his brother to find a tree
- 17:57Speaker 1: and sit by it. Okay, use trees and other types
- 18:00Speaker 1: of background for your engagement photos. Okay, no, you can't
- 18:05Speaker 1: use my car that you've ruined once already.
- 18:08Speaker 3: What I'm interested in and Tyler didn't tell us, but like,
- 18:12Speaker 3: what is exactly the proposal that the car has to
- 18:16Speaker 3: be in the shot is what I don't.
- 18:17Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. There's not a park I don't
- 18:21Speaker 2: know around.
- 18:22Speaker 4: I feel like Tyler's brother.
- 18:24Speaker 3: If you're listening, you need to hit us up with
- 18:27Speaker 3: your side of the story.
- 18:28Speaker 4: We asked this on Facebook and we got some excellent.
- 18:31Speaker 3: Responses, Barb said, I think it's a weird request in
- 18:35Speaker 3: the first place.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:36Speaker 3: See, so I guess you're not the problem, Tyler. She
- 18:38Speaker 3: thinks your brother is making a weird request.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Now, Jessica, I think has a very good point, and
- 18:43Speaker 1: this is pretty funny, and it's I think kind of
- 18:45Speaker 1: from the what would it be the engage gee, the
- 18:49Speaker 1: girl that's perposed to. Yeah, it's an interesting perspective from her.
- 18:54Speaker 1: She said, well, I wouldn't want my engagement photos with
- 18:58Speaker 1: my future brother in law's car.
- 19:01Speaker 2: I'm not marrying the brother, just saying great.
- 19:06Speaker 4: I'm glad that she clarified, because it's like.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Wait a minute, Jessica, do you know you're about to
- 19:11Speaker 3: get proposed to?
- 19:12Speaker 2: Is this right? Yeah?
- 19:16Speaker 3: You know, Tyler, I feel like that's the best response
- 19:20Speaker 3: you're gonna get.
- 19:21Speaker 4: You should mention that to your brother.
- 19:23Speaker 3: You should be like, are you even sure your girl
- 19:26Speaker 3: wants my car.
- 19:27Speaker 4: In the photo?
- 19:28Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 19:29Speaker 1: Right, So every engagement photo she looks at her in perpetuity, Yeah,
- 19:34Speaker 1: she has to think about her brother in law.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:36Speaker 3: In fact, she might say no, she might be like, actually,
- 19:39Speaker 3: you can't even afford a nice car.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Yeah, take me to the park across the street and
- 19:44Speaker 1: get a tree in a nice maple in the background.
- 19:53Speaker 1: On Thursday, there was a nine year old whose name
- 19:57Speaker 1: is Zaying. He was received the twenty twenty five ASPCA
- 20:05Speaker 1: Kid of the Year Award at the ASPCA Humane Awards
- 20:09Speaker 1: in New York City.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Now he's not from there, so this is like kind
- 20:12Speaker 2: of a national thing for.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Rescuing a kitten that was being abused by other children
- 20:18Speaker 1: late last year, oh say In intervened by offering his
- 20:23Speaker 1: skateboard to stop the mistreatment, then brought the injured kitten, Peaches,
- 20:29Speaker 1: to his mother for help. The family cared for Peaches,
- 20:32Speaker 1: who underwent surgery to remove and infect an eye, and
- 20:35Speaker 1: recovered fully at their home, which also includes several other pets.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Bury and Peaches have been inseparable since the rescue, and
- 20:43Speaker 1: now they're getting national recognition for their story of compassion.
- 20:48Speaker 4: And you're not a sweet kid, you.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Know me, Angie.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Anything with animals is always gonna, you know, make me
- 20:55Speaker 1: feel a certain way. Anything with a young kid doing
- 20:58Speaker 1: something that he knows or stopping something that he knows
- 21:02Speaker 1: is wrong during what he knows is right, is always
- 21:05Speaker 1: gonna just hit that sweet spot a little bit extra. Yeah,
- 21:08Speaker 1: And when you kind of combine the two, uh, you
- 21:11Speaker 1: make it well a national story. But here on Big
- 21:13Speaker 1: ninety eight point seven, you make Gabes good news of
- 21:16Speaker 1: the day. That right there, that right there should be
- 21:18Speaker 1: considered an award as high as the a SPCA kid
- 21:22Speaker 1: here or don't you think? Yeah, that's right way to go,
- 21:26Speaker 1: Zay And congratulations and obviously very well deserving to that
- 21:30Speaker 1: young man. The world's full of nice people. If you
- 21:33Speaker 1: can't find one, you gotta be one.
- 21:35Speaker 2: I think it's the best rate
