- 0:08Speaker 1: Sable Advice, Spice all alone. Welcome to the Naughty but
- 0:16Speaker 1: Night Show. I'm your host, Rob Shooter. It's Friday, which
- 0:19Speaker 1: means our friend, We're very lucky. Friend, Corey Andrew from
- 0:22Speaker 1: Instinct magazine dot com is joining ours. Corey, are you there?
- 0:27Speaker 1: I am here. Hello, Happy Friday. Hello, core I saw
- 0:30Speaker 1: a great video you posted your audition for Pose. Yes. Yes,
- 0:35Speaker 1: well you know season two. I was attempting to audition
- 0:39Speaker 1: for them, and I had business travel plans, and so
- 0:42Speaker 1: I couldn't make it, and so I made a video
- 0:44Speaker 1: instead and I never sent it. Cool. I know, after
- 0:49Speaker 1: you do all that work, you make the video, then
- 0:52Speaker 1: you have that horrible little doubt in your head, saying self,
- 0:55Speaker 1: doubt enough, you nobody cares. I didn't even say to myself.
- 0:59Speaker 1: If that's the case, then send it. What do you care? Yeah? Well,
- 1:03Speaker 1: you know what I needed the foreword answer in my life.
- 1:06Speaker 1: I needed that book in my life, Darling Oh, my
- 1:09Speaker 1: new book available now on Amazon dot com. Thank you
- 1:12Speaker 1: for the plug, my friend. Hey, let's jump into the show,
- 1:15Speaker 1: because do you know what time it is? It is
- 1:21Speaker 1: big exclusive. At the top of the show, Jennifer and
- 1:25Speaker 1: Ben Affleck the honeymoon is over, so they've not broken up.
- 1:29Speaker 1: But I spoke to some sources last night who know
- 1:31Speaker 1: jen really well, and they said it started to wind down.
- 1:36Speaker 1: I think in every relationship, at first, it's all so
- 1:40Speaker 1: exciting and new and romantic and sexual, and you know what,
- 1:46Speaker 1: and then by week three, week four, some of that
- 1:50Speaker 1: goes away a little bit. The initial excitement does diminish,
- 1:56Speaker 1: and then reality kicks in that and then when you're
- 2:00Speaker 1: as busy as these two, or really as busy as anybody,
- 2:04Speaker 1: you have to make a decision is there something you
- 2:06Speaker 1: want to pursue. The difference with Jennifer and Ben and
- 2:10Speaker 1: other couples is they don't really live on the same coast.
- 2:14Speaker 1: She's in Miami now, he's in l a. So they've
- 2:17Speaker 1: got to really make a decision. I think a lot
- 2:19Speaker 1: of relationships, I know, at least in my life, when
- 2:22Speaker 1: they're so easy. If you're dating the guy at college
- 2:25Speaker 1: or the girl next door, it's a lot easier than
- 2:28Speaker 1: if you're to jet setting international superstars, where they have
- 2:33Speaker 1: to decide is this something they want to pursue, and
- 2:36Speaker 1: if the answers yes, then they have to schedule time
- 2:39Speaker 1: for one another. My inside is, tell me they're talking
- 2:42Speaker 1: on the phone all the time, they're texting, they're enjoying
- 2:45Speaker 1: each other. I'm not saying it's over. Let's not get
- 2:47Speaker 1: too crazy here, but I'm saying that now with busy, busy,
- 2:51Speaker 1: busy schedules, they've got to decide is there something they
- 2:55Speaker 1: want or was it just a lovely sort of rebound.
- 2:59Speaker 1: She'd just broken up with a Rod, he had broken
- 3:01Speaker 1: up with Amma. The armis was this jumping back into
- 3:05Speaker 1: something so comfortable and nice for a weekend, a week,
- 3:08Speaker 1: two weeks and now they're like, mmmm, it happens all
- 3:12Speaker 1: the time. What do you think you are? Right? Well,
- 3:14Speaker 1: you know, you brought up a really interesting point in
- 3:16Speaker 1: the Facebook group where you said, you know, when you
- 3:19Speaker 1: sometimes go back with someone on a rebound, you're kind
- 3:21Speaker 1: of like reminded of why you broke up in the
- 3:25Speaker 1: first place. So maybe she got with him and she
- 3:27Speaker 1: was like, I don't wake where he chooses food. You
- 3:29Speaker 1: never know what it could have been, so that you
- 3:31Speaker 1: know you remember You remember these things? Do you remember?
- 3:34Speaker 1: And you forget them, don't you? The first guy I
- 3:37Speaker 1: ever dated was a guy called Neil, and I thought
- 3:40Speaker 1: I loved him. I didn't, but I thought I did.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Then he dumped me, and then I was so sad
- 3:45Speaker 1: about it until I bumped into him again and I
- 3:47Speaker 1: was like, oh, he's not exactly what I remembered, and
- 3:52Speaker 1: there's a few things about him to get on my nerves.
- 3:55Speaker 1: And so now Ben and Jenna figuring all this out.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I think they both enjoyed all the attention. It's also funny,
- 4:04Speaker 1: isn't it. Secret love is so romantic, creeping around, trying
- 4:09Speaker 1: to hide from the photographers, jumping in and out of cars.
- 4:13Speaker 1: This is so much fun. But once it's announced, well, yeah,
- 4:17Speaker 1: we get it. It was so exciting for a minute,
- 4:20Speaker 1: and now we've all moved on to gossip about Mega
- 4:22Speaker 1: Markel or somebody else. So now they have to decide.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Plus they both have families. It's a lot when you
- 4:29Speaker 1: start dating, really, I guess at any age, but particularly
- 4:32Speaker 1: when you get a little older and you've got your family,
- 4:34Speaker 1: You've got your life set up. They've both got their
- 4:37Speaker 1: beautiful houses, they have their family, they have their assistance,
- 4:41Speaker 1: they have their they have their lives. Do they want
- 4:43Speaker 1: to merge those lives? I would argue, Jennifer has I
- 4:47Speaker 1: know because I used to work for her. Jennifer has
- 4:49Speaker 1: the most extraordinary life. It's an incredible life. Does she
- 4:52Speaker 1: want to give up Miami and go to l A.
- 4:56Speaker 1: She certainly don't want to go to Boston. I love Boston,
- 4:58Speaker 1: but if you imagine Ja walking around Boston and I also,
- 5:02Speaker 1: I was told to by a friend of hers the
- 5:04Speaker 1: trip to Montana was very nice, mean, but is not
- 5:08Speaker 1: exactly a Montana type of honey I can't even see
- 5:13Speaker 1: that jake of fishing a thing. No, no, yeah, it
- 5:19Speaker 1: was so funny. I just pictured her, like, you know,
- 5:21Speaker 1: and it's like uncomfortable, like I'm of like Green Acres,
- 5:24Speaker 1: Like she was like je jacque Bord, I think I
- 5:26Speaker 1: love you, but give me a park alb I know,
- 5:28Speaker 1: you know, That's what I was seeing all time. She's
- 5:31Speaker 1: such a silly girl. We all have many sides to
- 5:33Speaker 1: our personalities, and obviously it's a stereotype of her. She's
- 5:37Speaker 1: a mom and so many other things as well. But
- 5:39Speaker 1: there's a lot of truth to this as well, which
- 5:41Speaker 1: really brings us to our whole question of the day.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Sources are telling me exclusively that the honeymoon's over. I'm
- 5:49Speaker 1: not saying they've broken up, but that rush of love
- 5:52Speaker 1: we've all felt it has now diminished a little bit.
- 5:55Speaker 1: They're still talking, they're still together, but you know it's
- 5:59Speaker 1: sort of toned down a little bit. Will they last?
- 6:03Speaker 1: Can they make it through? It's that point now where
- 6:05Speaker 1: they're going to make a decision. Are they going to
- 6:07Speaker 1: go for this or are they going to be like, yeah,
- 6:09Speaker 1: we'll stay friends. Even nicey you may pe will hook
- 6:12Speaker 1: up every so often, all perfectly fine. I'm not judging
- 6:15Speaker 1: them here. I just want to know what you think.
- 6:17Speaker 1: I go to a Twitter page at naughty nice Rob
- 6:21Speaker 1: and vote. We'll go to a Facebook page Naughty Gorsip
- 6:25Speaker 1: and be sure to check back your results on Monday.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Corey Love, what are you working on that? Andy Cohen
- 6:31Speaker 1: is talking about diversity within the Real Housewives franchise. Cohen
- 6:34Speaker 1: said on Going to Bed with Garcella that it took
- 6:37Speaker 1: ten seasons of Bravos Real house Wives at Beverly Hills
- 6:40Speaker 1: in two thousand nineteen to add Bouvet as the first
- 6:43Speaker 1: black woman in ten seasons because they were quote waiting
- 6:46Speaker 1: for the perfect one. However, he did note there was
- 6:50Speaker 1: no excuse. He explained, I think that it was a
- 6:52Speaker 1: bad cycle because the longer you waited. The more you
- 6:55Speaker 1: wanted to get it absolutely perfect. When you did cast
- 6:57Speaker 1: a woman of color and bring them into the group,
- 6:59Speaker 1: you wanted that person to succeed. Now, Cohen continued, over
- 7:03Speaker 1: the years, there have been people that we did not
- 7:05Speaker 1: cast that where people love color, because they really wanted
- 7:07Speaker 1: to get it right, so that they weren't casting someone
- 7:11Speaker 1: who would like be a one season housewife, or maybe
- 7:13Speaker 1: people would think she's boring, or she didn't want to
- 7:15Speaker 1: be there or didn't really fit in. So I just
- 7:18Speaker 1: think it was a vicious cycle of wanting to get
- 7:20Speaker 1: absolutely right, he says. Now Cohen, who's gay. He's also
- 7:23Speaker 1: mentioned they've come close to adding gay cast members on
- 7:27Speaker 1: the show as well, but it hasn't happened now, he said.
- 7:30Speaker 1: We've talked about it. It was something that we were
- 7:33Speaker 1: really into many years ago. We've almost cast several lesbians,
- 7:37Speaker 1: he says. Now the gay man they're going to cast
- 7:41Speaker 1: at one point, although he said no because he thought
- 7:43Speaker 1: the show should remain female focused. But at one point
- 7:46Speaker 1: they were going to actually cast the brother of Dina
- 7:49Speaker 1: and Caroline Manziel from the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
- 7:52Speaker 1: You know, because he's out and fun. Everyone loves him.
- 7:55Speaker 1: He was a really great, like breakout character from the show.
- 7:58Speaker 1: And um, but they didn't do it because they said
- 8:00Speaker 1: they want to keep it like female focus. But Andy
- 8:03Speaker 1: does not rule it out. He says, if the right
- 8:05Speaker 1: person smacked me in the phase, yeah, I do it. Um, Okay,
- 8:10Speaker 1: So I'm just gonna give you this because that was
- 8:11Speaker 1: already like a lot to take it. But I have
- 8:14Speaker 1: a little problem. Yeah, I have a little problem with it.
- 8:17Speaker 1: I'll just give one thing. For example, ten seasons of
- 8:19Speaker 1: that show, it's capitalized on mediocre, out of control, flawed
- 8:25Speaker 1: human beings, less than perfect white women. But when it
- 8:28Speaker 1: came time to add a black one, they added all
- 8:31Speaker 1: these extra boxes that she had to hit before they
- 8:35Speaker 1: would bring one on like it was some for some reason, Rob,
- 8:38Speaker 1: I don't know why. That really sort of rubs me.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I absolutely agree here eye lines that he said, there's
- 8:45Speaker 1: no excuse, and I think he should have stopped talking.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Then does about to give people of color, okay, unlessbian
- 8:54Speaker 1: people a higher bar to pass clire mounting to climb,
- 9:00Speaker 1: it's not fair. And goodness knows, they've had a lot
- 9:04Speaker 1: of white women on that show who certainly were not perfect.
- 9:06Speaker 1: We've seen them, A lot of them are still on Massive,
- 9:09Speaker 1: but also to the bed boring ones on too. There's
- 9:11Speaker 1: been many many a white lady who has been on
- 9:14Speaker 1: that show for one season and disappeared. I can't even
- 9:16Speaker 1: remember their names. I mean a Viva dresser. I like
- 9:19Speaker 1: a Viva personally, but she was only on I think
- 9:21Speaker 1: for two seasons. It wasn't a good fit. So why
- 9:24Speaker 1: not that? Why not extend that luxury to to everybody.
- 9:27Speaker 1: I don't like this at all. The whole franchise has
- 9:30Speaker 1: been really segregated. They seem to have had their black
- 9:33Speaker 1: franchise and at Canta that's the highest rated f y,
- 9:37Speaker 1: I the Atlantis highest rated, and yet the others they
- 9:41Speaker 1: kept really segregated. Now, what they would argue to is
- 9:45Speaker 1: they wanted to be organic and if you were not
- 9:48Speaker 1: friends with the ladies off camera, you shouldn't be friends on.
- 9:51Speaker 1: But we know that's not true because Luane just said
- 9:54Speaker 1: last week that she's not spoken to Bethany since the
- 9:57Speaker 1: day she left. They're not friends, they're only f because
- 10:01Speaker 1: of the show. I don't know. I think when you've
- 10:04Speaker 1: got that amount of power, when you've got to show
- 10:06Speaker 1: that big, although it's diminishing, the numbers are not what
- 10:09Speaker 1: it was, but there was a moment when that show
- 10:12Speaker 1: was just ruling the media pop culture landscape, and to
- 10:18Speaker 1: not use it rubbed me the wrong way too. And
- 10:22Speaker 1: Andy come up with a better answer like that is
- 10:24Speaker 1: just it's not a good answer, adding all these extra
- 10:26Speaker 1: hurdles from people not good didn't like that. Moving along
- 10:30Speaker 1: another naughty story, the BBC is finally apologizing for Martin
- 10:35Speaker 1: Basher's interviewer where he deceived Princess Diana. This is a
- 10:39Speaker 1: little bit complicated, but I'll take you through it. So
- 10:43Speaker 1: Diana did a bombshell interview in when Martin Bashir interviewed
- 10:48Speaker 1: her and she talked about having three people in the marriage.
- 10:52Speaker 1: A lot of people said this was the point where
- 10:55Speaker 1: Princess Diana and Charles and the royal family it was
- 11:00Speaker 1: over for good. It wasn't good before. I'm not saying
- 11:02Speaker 1: that Martin made this relationship bad, but he made it
- 11:06Speaker 1: worse now. Everybody was shocked. How did he get Princess Diana.
- 11:11Speaker 1: We know as people that work in TV radio podcast
- 11:14Speaker 1: it's very hard to get a guest on a shower
- 11:16Speaker 1: and so I would love to interview Mega Marcle Prince Harry.
- 11:19Speaker 1: They're not sitting down aught but my show. They're doing OPRAH.
- 11:21Speaker 1: So when I was a celebrity bubblist, everybody called me
- 11:24Speaker 1: to get j LO. She picked one or two interviews
- 11:27Speaker 1: and was really quite specific about what she would talk about,
- 11:30Speaker 1: what she would and all this is negotiated. It's like
- 11:33Speaker 1: a peace negotiation. You can't talk about ben Afflet, you
- 11:36Speaker 1: can't talk about drugs, you can't talk about elderhol you
- 11:39Speaker 1: can't talk about there's all these criterias that you must
- 11:42Speaker 1: agree to before the interview. So when Martin got Princess Diana,
- 11:46Speaker 1: nobody could quite figure it out he was an OPRAH.
- 11:50Speaker 1: In fact, the Diana interview put Martin on the map.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Now it's been revealed he got it through really deceiving naughty,
- 11:58Speaker 1: naughty ways. Reporter Commission in Britain has concluded that Martin
- 12:03Speaker 1: Bisher commissioned fake bank statements to show them to Princess
- 12:09Speaker 1: Diana's brother Charles Spencer, to show them to Diana, and
- 12:13Speaker 1: that's how he got the interview. They're arguing that these
- 12:16Speaker 1: fake bank statements showed Diana, proved to Diana remember them
- 12:22Speaker 1: were fake, that somebody was being paid money to be
- 12:25Speaker 1: a leak, So they were sort of implying that the
- 12:28Speaker 1: Palace was against her. People were earning money from her,
- 12:31Speaker 1: and if they were selling their stories that were negative
- 12:34Speaker 1: about Diana, she should tell her story. I haven't an
- 12:39Speaker 1: encounter with Martin Bisher that I've never talked about. So
- 12:42Speaker 1: after Martin did Princess Diana interview, his next bombshell was
- 12:46Speaker 1: Michael Jackson. He did the huge Michael Jackson. Within months,
- 12:50Speaker 1: he called me himself to meet me to do Diddy.
- 12:54Speaker 1: He wanted did he of Daddy to be the next
- 12:57Speaker 1: one in the trilogy. And I was such a Michael
- 13:01Speaker 1: Jackson fanatic growing up. Martin Basher calling me flattered my ego.
- 13:06Speaker 1: He took me to dinner at the Soho House. He
- 13:09Speaker 1: worked me, he worked me, he flirted with me, he
- 13:14Speaker 1: emailed me, he played, he giggled all to get Diddy.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Just a publicist, you present a lot of opportunities, but
- 13:22Speaker 1: you don't get the final say you can recommend. So
- 13:25Speaker 1: I spoke to Puff and I was like, Martin Bashier
- 13:27Speaker 1: wants to do you next? After Michael Jackson, Puff was
- 13:30Speaker 1: that hell no, absolutely accenting down with him. But he
- 13:33Speaker 1: made the right decision. I got to see Martin Basher,
- 13:37Speaker 1: and I got to see how he worked and how
- 13:39Speaker 1: he manipulated and how he touched your knee when you
- 13:42Speaker 1: were sitting there. Clearly he knew I was a gay boy,
- 13:45Speaker 1: and he just I've never ever had that happen. When
- 13:48Speaker 1: Diane Sawyer would interview my clients, she didn't touch my name.
- 13:51Speaker 1: When Barbara Walters interviewed clients, it was very, very professional.
- 13:55Speaker 1: She's got her own bookers. Martin did he all himself.
- 13:59Speaker 1: And I knew as being played. I knew it, you
- 14:01Speaker 1: know when you sit there and yet you know, yeah,
- 14:03Speaker 1: I knew it. I had flowers delivered to my office
- 14:06Speaker 1: from like he would think we were dating. It was
- 14:10Speaker 1: wild chory and creeper, and I knew it. I knew
- 14:14Speaker 1: it at the time. Thank goodness, Puffy never did this interview,
- 14:18Speaker 1: because you know, maybe Martin could have destroyed Puffy as
- 14:21Speaker 1: he certainly did Princess Diana. But this is all coming out, Hey,
- 14:27Speaker 1: my friend, what's going on with Bill dates? Yes, well,
- 14:29Speaker 1: Bill Gates is wearing his wedding ring still since announcing
- 14:32Speaker 1: the divorce. That's peculiar. Yes, so Bill Gates was still
- 14:37Speaker 1: sporting his wedding ring at his first public appearance since
- 14:39Speaker 1: announcing his divorce from wife Melinda Gates, the Microsoft co
- 14:43Speaker 1: founder appeared at a virtual global forum with the US
- 14:46Speaker 1: Chamber of Commerce, where he spoke at length about climate change. Now.
- 14:49Speaker 1: While he did not discuss his personal life, obviously, many
- 14:53Speaker 1: were able to infer a little bit about it because
- 14:56Speaker 1: you know, he was still wearing his wedding ring during
- 14:59Speaker 1: the address. So Bill and Melinda are technically still married. However,
- 15:03Speaker 1: the billionaires and now is they're divorcing on May third,
- 15:05Speaker 1: bringing their twenty seven years of marriage to an end.
- 15:10Speaker 1: And you know, Rob, although they've been hammering out the
- 15:12Speaker 1: details lately, you know, it became known to the public
- 15:15Speaker 1: that they've been working on this divorce for two years.
- 15:18Speaker 1: And probably because they got to divide all those coins,
- 15:22Speaker 1: because I mean, I can't even a magic kind of level.
- 15:26Speaker 1: I wouldn't even care that. If it's that that much,
- 15:29Speaker 1: I say, give me a billion, keep the rest. It's
- 15:32Speaker 1: just so, what do you think about wedding rings? Like
- 15:35Speaker 1: when is the time to take it off? Is it
- 15:37Speaker 1: on the day you actually signed the divorce papers, or
- 15:40Speaker 1: is it a minute you decide that it's over, or
- 15:43Speaker 1: is it is it it now? Just a piece of
- 15:45Speaker 1: jewelry after twenty seven years, he's so used to wearing it.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Do you feel naked without it? Do we read too
- 15:52Speaker 1: much into it? Do you wear a wedding ring? Corpy?
- 15:55Speaker 1: I do not. You know what's funny? Luckily, I think
- 15:57Speaker 1: Joe and I laugh. We kind of lucked out. We're
- 16:00Speaker 1: not really into like serious jewelry, so not even like
- 16:04Speaker 1: like we're totally fine with that. I might give me
- 16:06Speaker 1: the house in the Hampton's. I don't. I don't need
- 16:09Speaker 1: the ring, show me you love me at the twenty
- 16:11Speaker 1: years We're good, But no, not into the whole ceremony
- 16:14Speaker 1: and symbolism, right, that's not what we are. Bruce and
- 16:18Speaker 1: I am married and we do wear rings. At this point,
- 16:21Speaker 1: I've got to admit I would feel naked without it,
- 16:24Speaker 1: So I sort of sort of think I get what
- 16:26Speaker 1: Bills doing here. But you're right, Melinda, let him wear
- 16:29Speaker 1: the ring, you get the money. Hey, we're going to
- 16:32Speaker 1: break man, we will be bad. Welcome back to that
- 16:38Speaker 1: naughty but night sham. I'm your heads rob shooting with
- 16:40Speaker 1: that friend. Corey Andrew from Instinct magazine dot com. Corey,
- 16:44Speaker 1: what are you working on? Instinct Magazine I love that website.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Oh gosh, well, we're working like a lot of different
- 16:49Speaker 1: stuff these days. You know. The main things we were
- 16:52Speaker 1: talking about recently were the whole Billy Porter story. Oh
- 16:55Speaker 1: We're coming yesterday on the show was such a big story.
- 16:59Speaker 1: And I think Lupo, who said yesterday co host that
- 17:03Speaker 1: this has cemented him a place now in history. It
- 17:06Speaker 1: was so emotional, so grave, and so he just announced
- 17:11Speaker 1: that he's been HIV positive for over a decade. He's
- 17:15Speaker 1: a he's an extraordinary person. Hey, let's get to the polls.
- 17:19Speaker 1: My friend dot dot do Matthew Perry stunned fans with
- 17:24Speaker 1: his slurred speech at the Friends reunion. Is something wrong?
- 17:28Speaker 1: Is something wrong? Wow? We're whopping. Sixty seven percent said yes,
- 17:34Speaker 1: something is up. Don't forget to vote on today's poll.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Go to our Twitter page at Naughty and Ice Raba.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Our face Monk page is Naughty Gossip, and be sure
- 17:41Speaker 1: as to check back on Monday to hear your results.
- 17:45Speaker 1: And now it's time for day. Yes, well only is
