Cravens Pool in Owensboro is shutting down for the rest of the summer due to unexpected mechanical issues — a blow for families counting on it. But don’t sweat it: Combest Pool stays open until August 2nd, plus all city spray parks are running through Labor Day. Parks and Rec is stepping up with sweet deals — discounted days, a free swim day, family day (parents go free), and even a “Dollar Day.” Don’t miss the wild “Gone to the Dogs” event on August 2nd.
