- 0:02Good day.
- 0:02Welcome to the Midday Report on the America Out Loud News Talk Radio Network.
- 0:07The countermomentum of spin.
- 0:09I'm your host, Dr.
- 0:10Franco Musio.
- 0:11To our friends listening in the United States and around the world, well, there's no lack of hard use items, none uh to keep our adrenaline going.
- 0:21All right, though, here is to dissect out the nuances and underlying causes and foundations.
- 0:28At least this is my goal of the events, which we come into contact with now continuously.
- 0:34So today's show.
- 0:36I'm titling, are the lines between the good and evil of ICE and CBP now blurred?
- 0:42Uh at least we're being led to think this by talking heads, clearly media, I would say progressive and left-wing media, and our next door neighbors, by the way.
- 0:53So uh ICE, U.S.
- 0:55immigration and custom enforcement, CBP, U.S.
- 0:58custom and border protection.
- 1:00Um, you know, there are so many twists and turns to this topic, and I have no one better to discuss this and dissect the topic, the topic.
- 1:11Again, I'm privileged to have Mr.
- 1:12Ed Huglin uh as my guest.
- 1:15He's my mentor, clearly on issues of cognition, particularly the domain of cognitive warfare.
- 1:21And uh I've uh it's been my privilege to be a guest on a number of his national security hour shows.
- 1:27So Mr.
- 1:28Huglin is a retired federal senior executive, a U.S.
- 1:31Air Force veteran.
- 1:33He has over four decades.
- 1:35Now is it five decades now?
- 1:38Uh four decades, over four decades, uh, including service as a senior leader in the intelligence community, Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, which we're gonna talk a lot about, Department of Energy, Department of State.
- 1:52Uh Ed served as the senior advisor to several intelligence community agency heads, the assistant inspector general for inspections for the intelligence community, the chairman of the CIA strategic planning, a deputy team leader of the INF on-site nuclear arms inspections.
- 2:09I I like that one uh in the former Soviet Union.
- 2:12That that gets my attention, and an award-winning CIA intelligence analyst.
- 2:18So he's very informed.
- 2:20He, in fact, um he published recently a book and uh the cognitive war, why are we losing and how we can win?
- 2:31And I'm waiting for the New York Times bestseller list.
- 2:35I'm waiting it.
- 2:36I'm waiting for it to be on there because uh at least uh I I'll admit sometimes I bring it to bed with me.
- 2:44I really do because there's chapters I reread, and I really would promote this strongly to anyone who has any interest.
- 2:55Even if you have no interest in this, he'll educate you.
- 2:57So I I have another plug, I'm sorry before we start, but but not really sorry, the U.S.
- 3:02semi-quint quincentennial.
- 3:05It's a tongue uh tongue twister.
- 3:06So 250-year anniversary of the founding of our great country, but in Nashville, Tennessee, celebration of 10 years of America Out Loud News from the 2nd to the 4th, 2026.
- 3:18Please Google America Out Loud News for details.
- 3:21I will be there.
- 3:22I don't know if you'll be there, Ed, but many, many people will.
- 3:25There's going to be fabulous discussions, panel discussions, lectures, you name it.
- 3:31Uh, and uh, but please please Google that site.
- 3:34I think you'll enjoy it immensely.
- 3:36So I'm gonna unleash you, Mr.
- 3:38Huglin, in a minute.
- 3:40But as an introduction, I I didn't know this, and I don't know the majority of our listeners, but ICE is, of course, a major federal law enforcement agency.
- 3:51It has now about 22,000 or more employees, as of uh a couple weeks ago, including agents, officers deployed all over the United States and 57 plus countries around the world.
- 4:06So it was created in 2000, well, in two, but really 2003 as a response to 9-11 and operates under the Department of Homeland Security, uh, which also is a response to 9-11, has about a $9 billion budget and rising.
- 4:23Um, it's grown significantly now, over 12,000 new officers and agents.
- 4:29The structure is divided into three components.
- 4:32We're going to talk about the uh ERO, enforcement and removal operations, uh, detaining and deporting individuals mostly, but it also has homeland security investigation responsibilities, uh dealing with uh human trafficking and drug smuggling, provides also legal counsel, uh the Office of Principal Legal Advisors.
- 4:53So it has a big budget now.
- 4:56U.S.
- 4:56Customs and Border Protection is the largest law enforcement agency within the Department of Human Homeland Security.
- 5:04It has now 67 or so thousand personnel.
- 5:07It has agents, officers, uh, agricultural specialists.
- 5:11I didn't know about that.
- 5:12The workforce 67,000 employees, and manages a budget of 19 billion dollars.
- 5:21So they obviously about 21,000 patrol the areas between ports of entry.
- 5:27You have up to 33,000 uh officers work at ports of entry.
- 5:33We we have ports of entry all over the place, and a huge border with Mexico and Canada.
- 5:38So I'll stop.
- 5:40But here are here are some talking points.
- 5:44So per the left-leaning media infiltrating the national consciousness.
- 5:50And I'm I'm gonna say maybe even some of the right media, but not not so much, not so much.
- 5:57The current events basically in in Minnesota and Minneapolis, but they're all over the United States.
- 6:04Um these public safety arrests that are going on, they're they're basically designed to target criminals.
- 6:13And there are many criminals, there are illegals who are criminals uh among the streets, and the streets, street arrests have risen a lot, like 11 times over 2026.
- 6:27Tell me what you think about that.
- 6:31Well, Dr.
- 6:32Muzio Franco, great to be back on with you.
- 6:35And uh, let's start with some basics here first, okay.
- 6:38Yep.
- 6:39Uh illegals.
- 6:41Any illegal here is already a criminal.
- 6:44They've broken the law.
- 6:45They've come here illegally.
- 6:47Now you have different degrees of criminality with violent criminals and others.
- 6:51And so, but let's not forget that every single illegal who's come here without authorization crossing the border uh illegally illegally has done that.
- 7:02Okay, and breaking law is a criminal.
- 7:04Second.
- 7:06We have laws in our land, which Congress passed, including the laws and appropriations for DHS, ICE, CBP, and other things.
- 7:18It's very amazing to me that most reporters don't ask people like Hakeem Jeffries, Chuck Schumer, and others, is why don't you want to uphold the laws of this country?
- 7:30Why do you not want to support the law enforcement of this country and upholding the laws you passed and which you funded those people to do?
- 7:37Of course not.
- 7:38Why is it you want to vilify those folks?
- 7:40Why would they why would they ask them that question?
- 7:42Because they're in code with the politicians anyway.
- 7:45Ah, so yes, yes, because they are a uh echo chamber.
- 7:50Okay, they are an echo chamber for the far-left radical democrats who uh want to keep these illegals here.
- 7:58And so, but repeat your basic question, and I'll get back to the basic questions.
- 8:02No, it's not really a question, it's just a comment that uh, yes, these arrests have have skyrocketed exponentially.
- 8:10They have, and and there's there's a reason for this.
- 8:14Just you your overall view, because um, why are they invading the streets?
- 8:19Or or there's a focus on the streets.
- 8:22Well, I think there's a reason for that.
- 8:25Um, but listen to this.
- 8:26I I didn't really know what a Kavanaugh stop is.
- 8:29Do you?
- 8:29So it's a detention based on minimal suspicion, uh, that are becoming more common.
- 8:35So this refers to the um immigration enforcement tactic where the federal agents they detain individuals based on perceived ethnicity, language occupation.
- 8:45Now, the the this rings bells of of New York City and other situations, but it stems from last year, 2025 Supreme Court, uh concurrence by Justice Kavanaugh in Gnome versus Vasquez, which um gave greater leeway for officers to consider factors like reasonable suspicion.
- 9:08And um, well, how else are you gonna do that?
- 9:11And it raised, of course, by the left and others about racial profiling and you know, and so forth and so on.
- 9:18But but now there's more uh leeway for these ICE agents of stopping anyone they they think may be illegal uh on the streets.
- 9:29And and of course, this is getting bad publicity.
- 9:33And and namely Minneapolis, namely Minneapolis-St.
- 9:37Paul.
- 9:38Yeah, so the bad publicity is is real because, and this is where in the cognitive warfare, the radical left is very adept at driving the narrative.
- 9:47And unfortunately, uh the rest of America is uh myopic, short-sighted, and it tends to like to repeat history.
- 9:57And so they take advantage of that.
- 10:00To drive others to react.
- 10:02Whereas, and this and why President Trump has altered his uh his efforts in those bigger cities is because they were losing control of the narrative.
- 10:13Okay, which the Democrats are very effective at driving.
- 10:16But let's let's go back uh in history a little bit and remind people, you know uh what kind of uh what kind of scouting, what kind of uh stops and aggressive patrols did they have under the China flu, COVID in the Biden administration?
- 10:32How many people were sensitive cancer thrown out of their businesses and other stuff like that?
- 10:36Okay, because they didn't comply with a mask mandate or something like that.
- 10:41Why other others who who enforce those laws ate out with friends and open masks without masks and dinners and stuff.
- 10:48So let me guess who you're talking about.
- 10:51You talk about the governor of California?
- 10:54Yes.
- 10:54No.
- 10:55But let's let's also go back and remind people that you know when you have 20 to 30 million illegals entering the country over the last couple of decades, but over the last uh uh five, six years over 10 to 20 million.
- 11:07Okay, how are you supposed to then move them back out of the country expeditiously?
- 11:12Okay, exactly.
- 11:14It's so but people also forget.
- 11:17Uh remember, under the Biden administration, in the in the height of the COVID infection period, they let illegals come across by the tens of thousands every day.
- 11:26And they were tested.
- 11:28They didn't have to have a vaccine.
- 11:30Of course not.
- 11:31Okay.
- 11:31They they trafficked these uh illegals at night in planes into red states.
- 11:38Not only that, but they took infected COVID infected China flu infected illegals and flew them at night into red states, and then use the media to highlight the impact of the growing and flu in those red states, basically a biological warfare by President.
- 11:55Well, well, I'm gonna I'm gonna stop you right there.
- 11:58What about tuberculosis?
- 11:59What about um but the media didn't take to that very very well or very much?
- 12:05What about other infectious diseases, which unfortunately and TB is number one now?
- 12:11Uh yeah, I mean it's not only COVID.
- 12:13Yes.
- 12:14Yes.
- 12:15And yeah, and it was the blue states.
- 12:17Do you remember New York's uh New York?
- 12:19Yeah.
- 12:19Yes, and remember now they're talking they're talking about uh of the rest in the streets and treating illegal stuff like that.
- 12:25What's let's bring back the pictures on television I talk about my book.
- 12:29Okay, let's bring back the television pictures where they had illegals and pens by the tens of thousands like cattle.
- 12:36Okay, and there is super spreader vets, okay.
- 12:39And so all these things are frog out, you know, all of the things, all the the hundreds of thousands of illegals pushed out by Obama, okay?
- 12:47All this stuff in Obama giving Tom Holman an award for his work, okay.
- 12:52All these things show, yeah, all these things show the hypocrisy of their effort.
- 12:59We're gonna we're gonna talk about hypocrisy in a little bit, but now the big beautiful bill.
- 13:05Um, so what there's 45 plus billion dollars allocated for detention in the uh this year or last year or this year.
- 13:13So it it it completely reshapes ice capacity to detain now.
- 13:17Well, the goal, I guess, is a hundred over a hundred thousand beds.
- 13:21That's a lot.
- 13:22Uh and you say hot beds for infection.
- 13:25I mean, uh these illegals are still infected, by the way, um, with other diseases, but but you know, mention is not not made of that.
- 13:33You also said, well, there's different degrees of illegality and and criminal criminality.
- 13:39Um, there are there, I want to say a good portion of these people are not only murderers, if you're not a murderer, but a felon.
- 13:48There's there's felonies.
- 13:50Uh not only did they come into the United States illegally, but attached to that, there are many other, or there are other extenuating circumstances that are illegal too.
- 14:04And and the community doesn't think about that.
- 14:07You know, that they would change their minds in a heartbeat.
- 14:10In a harp, these protesters, if if any one of their family members were killed uh or or injured by any of these uh illegal immigrants.
- 14:19In a heartbeat, they would change their their tune.
- 14:23I think.
- 14:24Yeah, but but you know, I've written a couple of op-eds for the Washington Times and uh blessing.
- 14:28Excellent options publishing them.
- 14:30And one of the things is it's been tried and true for years now with the uh radical left, is they purposely incite violence by fringe elements, knowing that people are going to get killed, which serves their cause.
- 14:46Okay, it's collateral damage from Lenin to Stalin to Xi on.
- 14:51People have used these types of tactics for centuries to incite violence and stuff like that.
- 14:57And the left is doing it again, you can see them continuing to uh blast that vitriol and rhetoric out.
- 15:04Okay, and so it's it's just amazing that Americans don't pick this up.
- 15:08But the other thing that people are starting to pick up, which finally the Trump administration is getting their act together on, is highlighting that these are not organic events.
- 15:18People don't show up with printed signs, gas masks, okay, and all sorts of paraphernalia, bricks, rocks, and other things, okay.
- 15:27They whistle whistles, whistles, yeah.
- 15:30They show up with truckloads of these things being distributed and such.
- 15:34So these are purposeful events, much like the Soviets did uh in the 80s with the red balloons and trying to stop the deployment of glycom's ground launch cruise missiles, okay?
- 15:44Yes, yes.
- 15:45These are and Vietnam, etc.
- 15:47These are not organic events.
- 15:50And the problem is is that the reactive nature of our national security apparatus continues to allow the radical left to drive these false narratives, and without accountability.
- 16:06I'm gonna take a little bit of issue with you, uh, although, yes, there have been articles written and thoughts out there that the uh the left, the progressive left, uh really their schemes, they don't mind that people are killed uh to further their their own thoughts and narratives.
- 16:21I don't know if it's to that extent, but they're clearly enabling this, they're clearly enabling looking from another stance, uh their their thoughts, their views uh will enable uh deaths, if you will.
- 16:36Uh, but your thoughts are that they don't mind that at all.
- 16:40No, no, but it's proven.
- 16:42Franker, look at it it's proven.
- 16:43Let's, for example, here, okay.
- 16:45Remember the Me Too movement?
- 16:47Of course.
- 16:48Okay, the Me Too movement was all about harassing or murder stuff.
- 16:52Uh producer, yeah.
- 16:53So now you have uh uh the the two people who were shot in Minneapolis, okay, obstructing ice and their efforts.
- 17:00Oh, big time, yes, yes.
- 17:01So where was the Me Too movement or outcry for Lakin Riley, Jocelyn Nungary, Rachel Moran, Ava Moore, Marina Fleets, oh, and many more, many more.
- 17:11Yes.
- 17:11I could go on as and as Ray Gutfeld said on on the five.
- 17:14There's a late, he had a page list of 80 something women, okay.
- 17:17Yeah, it's it's a hypocrisy here.
- 17:20If they really care about the death and rape of women, they'd be helping to remove these violent illegal from our cities as a priority.
- 17:29But they're not.
- 17:30So they're completely hypocritical.
- 17:31They're not.
- 17:32They're not.
- 17:32We'll talk about the hypocrisy in a little bit on the other side.
- 17:35So let me stop you there.
- 17:37We're gonna take a break.
- 17:38We're gonna take a commercial, and we've been speaking with Mr.
- 17:42Ed Huckland.
- 17:43We will continue our thoughts uh with Mr.
- 17:45Ed Hugland right on the other side.
- 17:47Thank you.
- 17:49Let's get real.

- 20:23That is X L E A R.com.
- 20:28And we are back, Mr.
- 20:30Egg Huglin, uh tackling a number of different issues.
- 20:34Before we get into um, I think uh really important topic.
- 20:39This is kind of interesting that uh ice now they it the at least the organization may be affecting relationships with other countries.
- 20:47So uh just recently there's outrage from Italy over the inclusion of ice agents at the 2026 Olympics.
- 20:56Now I would favor that, but other countries do not favor that.
- 21:02And and the majority of Americans, even uh Republicans, conservatives don't agree with that.
- 21:08But what do you think, Ed, about that?
- 21:11Well, that's interesting given uh the uh prime minister of Italy is is uh a little bit more conservative in her approach, so it it sounds to me more like it's uh other politicians it is in Italy, okay?
- 21:23It is, it is Italy, like most of the EU is uh socialist in their mentality and weak in mind, woke in practice.
- 21:32So I think that explains it.
- 21:35Yeah, so so what do you think, though, yourself of having ICE agents accompany our uh Olympians?
- 21:43Well, there's different types of security you need, and so it depends on what their role is.
- 21:47They're just as you said, they're they're devoid worldwide, just like we have uh League at officers from FBI deployed worldwide.
- 21:53There's there's purposes for each of them in terms of their efforts, and let's face it, Americans are targeted, and they're still targeted by different terrorists and stuff.
- 22:02So I think you know, whatever necessary protection they need, and the government supports that uh through their deployment, then you know I think it's perfectly justifiable.
- 22:12Do you remember?
- 22:13I'm sure you do in Germany.
- 22:15Uh, do you remember that horrible the Israeli team that were massacred?
- 22:20Um, I want to so where was that in Germany?
- 22:23One of the Olympics and the Olympics, yes.
- 22:27Yeah, and uh, yeah, yeah, you need an and I'm thinking, well, could you have undercover agents versus you know uh because again we're we're gonna talk about perception in a moment here.
- 22:38Um other point I want to raise is that now large-scale workplace rates.
- 22:44I I unfortunately, unfortunately, if you go to these places like Costco or well, not so much Costco.
- 22:53What was the most recent there in um Home Depot and other places and and local economies can be disrupted because there are a number of illegal immigrants working there, and and of course, the picture, the the portrayals are not good, but how else would you do it?
- 23:11How else would you do it in the middle of the street?
- 23:12So people, you know, everybody has the heart, right?
- 23:16But there's a legal way to come here.
- 23:18Yeah.
- 23:19That's why I have a laws.
- 23:20Yeah.
- 23:20The other thing is is that people forget that those jobs, for example, I grew up in Austin, Minnesota, home of Hormel meat packing plant.
- 23:28All right.
- 23:29Yep.
- 23:29After I left within uh about a decade after I left in 79, okay, by 89, uh the meat packing plant was filled with Hispanics versus Americans.
- 23:40Why?
- 23:41Because cheap labor, they could discard them like uh used cattle, which they did after they get their carpal tunnel surgery and everything else like that, because working on the line is very difficult.
- 23:51Yes, but people forget all of these jobs displaced Americans in those jobs.
- 23:58And people also forget that if you had the squad, the four uh ladies in the Congress, far left Democrats, okay.
- 24:05But don't get me nauseous now, please.
- 24:07So let me let's just remind them what they said.
- 24:10We need people to pick our vegetables, clean our houses, and wipe our rare ends.
- 24:15Okay, so let's replace pick our vegetables with pick cotton, okay.
- 24:19That's exactly what these racist squad members and racist members of Congress are projecting here.
- 24:27Why is that?
- 24:28It's because the Democrats are creating a new 21st century plantation of dependency.
- 24:33They have the slave party, they've reinvented the slave party.
- 24:36Now they want the 20 to 30 million illegals beholden to the government.
- 24:40Now that's why they give them everything free.
- 24:43People forget back in HR1 under uh the prior Trump administration, HR one.
- 24:50These fascists democrats were pushing to include ballot harvesting, mail in voting without identification, blocking the removal of dead voters, changing the voting age to 16 and enabling votings by illegal aliens and non-citizens.
- 25:06Yes, yes, okay.
- 25:07Yes, this is why they want to do this.
- 25:10This is whole a big front and force.
- 25:12You're quite vociferous about this, but I I was just about to mention what you just said about ulterior motives, not only working, you know, in different areas, even I remember um Ted Kennedy was a big proponent of that before he uh before he died, but uh yeah, huge voting blocks, ill illegal voting blocks, by the way.
- 25:33It gets into what other country, there are very few countries in this world in which you you um do not have to give ID and show ID, proof of ID before you vote.
- 25:45And it's beyond me, but it it speaks to your point.
- 25:50It speaks to to your point.
- 25:52So if I could if I could add one other point, Franco.
- 25:55So please people, and I write about this in my book as well, but uh uh uh also online in my blog, but people forget this is a continued repetitive cycle.
- 26:06So let me lay out the cycle for you.
- 26:08First portion of the cycles ignore the law.
- 26:12Okay, first they push applaud and seek open borders if we're beholden to humanity and God, okay, that with a sanctuary cities.
- 26:19Second, yeah, anyone who poses that they cry racism.
- 26:23My God, racism, this racism, that, okay.
- 26:26Then they cry for help, federal help, spend, spend, spend, okay.
- 26:31Then they cry racism again for not giving free education, health care, social services, and education.
- 26:37And then they blame it all on conservatives to call anyone who doesn't agree with them, again, racist.
- 26:41Yeah, then they call for amnesty and taxes and voting rights.
- 26:46Okay.
- 26:47And then that doesn't work.
- 26:48Then they call on for investigations and blame everything on failed NASA security and conservatives.
- 26:55Okay.
- 26:55And then they ignore the law and repeat step number one.
- 26:59So this is a cascade.
- 27:00This is a cascade of events and a sequential cascade.
- 27:05Yes.
- 27:05And one step um is beholden to the other.
- 27:08In other words, uh they they are logically in sequence, correct?
- 27:15Yes, and it's been repeated from Reagan to Clinton to Obama, okay.
- 27:19The Bush now to Biden, and now uh now again Donald Trump underneath him is what they're doing the same thing.
- 27:24Yeah, no, he doesn't want that.
- 27:26No, no, he doesn't want to.
- 27:27But I'm just saying that this is the radical left who's doing this, yeah.
- 27:30And anybody who opposes them is then labeled in this process goes through, this cycle goes through.
- 27:36And it's been so why is it Americans are so stupid to not figure this out by this?
- 27:42Well, I'm I well, it's it's it's even more complex than that.
- 27:46Guess what?
- 27:46The Pope has something to do with this too.
- 27:48Uh the Pope does.
- 27:50No, I'm serious.
- 27:52Bless his heart, but um, the Pope does because he's he had been spewing, you know, and and it's true, we're all of God's children's, yes, but you can't be Pope, but then also uh the leader of a country because the leader of a country, uh a democratic country has huge responsibilities to its citizens, whereas the Pope is um, yes, he's the head of the Roman Catholic Church and speaks for Christianity as well, I think.
- 28:25Uh but but you know, he he goes along with these thoughts and you know, influences a lot of people.
- 28:31Okay, I'm gonna touch on that.
- 28:33Yeah, yeah.
- 28:34Go ahead.
- 28:34All right.
- 28:34So I I grew up Catholics.
- 28:36Let me say a few things about the Pope and pedophiles, okay.
- 28:39Uh oh, uh-oh.
- 28:40Because it's gonna hurt some people's heads, but you know, the Catholic Church has now paid over a billion dollars in settlements for pedophilia.
- 28:47I know and for child rapists in the guess what?
- 28:49Guess what?
- 28:50Not only in the United States, but around around the world, around the world.
- 28:54Okay.
- 28:55The Pope who has a big mouth, okay, has a big wall around the Vatican, also.
- 29:00I know.
- 29:01He should practice what he preach and keep his little bonnet on his head and stay at home, okay, unless he wants to go ahead and practice what he preaches and open up the Vatican to all these illegals that throughout the EU well, okay.
- 29:15You're yeah, okay.
- 29:18And also Nancy Pelosi is well.
- 29:28Sex trafficked and slave labored underneath the Biden administration, of which 140,000 now have been found by Tom Homan and his group to protect them.
- 29:37Right, right.
- 29:38Because, and this goes to my point earlier.
- 29:40But not necessarily is collateral damage, but not abused by priest, not abused by priests, if that's what you're talking about.
- 29:46No, no, no, I'm talking about overall.
- 29:48But there are priests that are included in this, right?
- 29:51There are priests that include this.
- 29:52My point is is that the hypocrisy is just unbelievable.
- 29:57I know, I know, I know.
- 29:58It is.
- 29:59Okay, I'm gonna.
- 30:00Read to you a couple of paragraphs.
- 30:02Do you remember Cal Thomas?
- 30:04Cal Thomas?
- 30:05Yeah, he's he still writes in the Washington Times, yeah.
- 30:08Yeah.
- 30:08And I don't didn't know what happened to him because I would see him every day on television.
- 30:14But uh, but but let me read something to you that that is very compelling.
- 30:19Uh this comes from I'm gonna say about a week ago, exactly a week ago, a commentary in the Washington Times.
- 30:26Quote I have not seen a reporter ask an anti-ICE activist whether they are okay with rapists, murderers, and pedophiles staying in Minneapolis.
- 30:36This is exactly what you said, Ed, a little bit ago.
- 30:39The Trump administration needs to do what is known in television as counter-programming.
- 30:44This might include uh allowing some of the victims of these criminals to speak, bring some of these awaiting deportation before reporters and read off the records.
- 30:52That might be more effective at influencing public opinion than displaying their photographs.
- 30:57It doesn't take a soothsayer to predict that the goal of these demonstrations might be to help Democrats regain a congressional majority so that they can impeach the president, even though the likelihood of convicting him would be about the same as the previous impeachments.
- 31:13For them, it's all politics.
- 31:15For the Homeland Security Department, it's about getting bad guys off the streets and out of the country.
- 31:20And one more thing.
- 31:21Let the Democrats run on a platform of defending violent criminals and see how that works for them.
- 31:27As for the false narrative about the five-year-old boy, we can talk about it in a minute.
- 31:31It again proves the truth of the saying, quote, a lie travels halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its boots and a parentheses.
- 31:41Or end of quote.
- 31:42So that kind of invites my next segment.
- 31:49So the five-year-old boy.
- 31:51From what I know, the five-year-old boy was with the illegal father.
- 31:55The illegal father ran away, leaving the five-year-old boy, either in the car or or wherever alone.
- 32:03The ice agents having a heart took this boy in and kept him for a number of days.
- 32:11The father never came back to see him, and then ultimately they reunited them, which unfortunately not for unfortunate for the boy.
- 32:19But social media, left-wing media, took all of this and distorted it to the ultimate, not only distorting that, but distorting the two killings.
- 32:30Uh Renee, what's her name?
- 32:31Renee Good and the other, the other gentleman.
- 32:35I mean, give me a break.
- 32:37Give me a break.
- 32:39This is this is uh distorting perception, and I'm gonna want to talk about this from a medical standpoint in a moment, but but clearly distorting perception, which doesn't equal to, I, in my opinion, objective reality.
- 32:58Or the truth.
- 33:00Well, you're absolutely right.
- 33:02But this is what was the Russian dossier?
- 33:04Is it Clinton paid for piece?
- 33:06Okay, so that the media is what I call propaganda whores.
- 33:11They they purposely spread the manure, this disinformation and propaganda.
- 33:17And like you said, as again, Cal Thomas, the spread goes well halfway around the world before the truth comes out.
- 33:22This is the this is the problem with reacting to this stuff.
- 33:25This is why conservatives and the president and good Americans writ large have to call out the facts to begin with.
- 33:33Go back to the basics.
- 33:34What's their law?
- 33:35Who enforces law?
- 33:37Do you want law enforced?
- 33:39If you don't, we have no country.
- 33:40Okay.
- 33:41So why is it Democrats repeatedly do not want the law enforced?
- 33:44The one area that I'll disagree with Cal Thomas on is this is not politics.
- 33:50Is that right?
- 33:51This is a lot of people.
- 33:52It's not politics.
- 33:52What is it?
- 33:53No, this is a blood sport for absolute power.
- 33:56Okay, this is the mistake.
- 33:57People wait a minute.
- 33:59I'm going to interrupt you.
- 34:00Uh yeah, you may be right about that, but but how could that not be politics?
- 34:05No, because you're framing it.
- 34:07You're framing it in a very uh emotional dramatic way.
- 34:11They're using political electrons.
- 34:13Yeah, but the difference, okay.
- 34:15Politics is a debate between parties, and okay, and it's a certain process, okay?
- 34:21Yeah, but it's dirty.
- 34:22It can be very dirty.
- 34:23It could be dirty, yes, it can.
- 34:25But the difference is is that in politics, if you're actually doing politics, you still adhere to the constitution and the law, and they and the upholding those laws and constitutional.
- 34:35You should be because you've taken an oath of office, right?
- 34:38Well, I oh, come on.
- 34:40Ideally, yes, but about this isn't argued with you, but um, no, no, I got you.
- 34:46But this is where Venezuela became what it was.
- 34:49This is how the Russians overtook all of Eastern Europe, okay, because they're using these same tactics and techniques here in the United States.
- 34:57They get a hold of uh the law enforcement agencies, they get a hold of the justice system, they get a hold of the education system, and you've seen what happened under Biden.
- 35:06We were on the precipice of becoming another Venezuela, less the election of Trump.
- 35:11Okay, yes, now with the election.
- 35:12Very scary.
- 35:13Scary what did they start right away to?
- 35:15Judicial insurrection.
- 35:16Yep.
- 35:17Riots to preclude this, okay?
- 35:19Anarchy riots and stuff.
- 35:20And I've written about this stuff for the last several years.
- 35:22It it I projected all this stuff is gonna happen because it's it's the same thing that's been used for a century.
- 35:27It's the same thing, but what about the first Trump administration, Ed, uh during that that those peaceful riots.
- 35:34What about that?
- 35:35Um, another example, another example.
- 35:37Yeah, exactly.
- 35:37Exactly.
- 35:38Not only that, but it's multifaceted, right?
- 35:40The the demonstrations, the riots and everything.
- 35:43It's just it's just surreal.
- 35:45But yeah, it's it is surreal.
- 35:46But it would it was another cause, well, another cause, but maybe cloaked in in uh, I don't know, in in insurrection, because insurrection, but and then you're looking, you're looking at oh, how complex is this?
- 36:00For example, the people who riot, uh, the people who riot, and many of them are paid.
- 36:05That's number one.
- 36:07Many of them do not have a job.
- 36:09Number two, many of them are brainwashed, I think.
- 36:13Many of them are younger, younger, below 50 years of age, and and or below 30 years of age who were easily impressionable, right?
- 36:24Or above 60 and smoke too much dope in their in their youth.
- 36:28Okay, could be a lot of care.
- 36:30You get a lot of cairns out there above 60 older women on the street.
- 36:33You do, you do.
- 36:34Yeah, you do who are especially brainwashed and you do, you do.
- 36:38But but my point is they have nothing else to do.
- 36:41They have nothing else to do.
- 36:42And then you have mob mob violence, mob psychology.
- 36:46Yeah, let me let me go into this a little bit because psychological studies, and then we'll talk about this on the other side.
- 36:53They're very, very interesting about human perception.
- 36:56So it's really not a direct objective recording of reality many, many times.
- 37:01It's not, it's sub-objective construction.
- 37:05And the brain, there again, there are studies, it's created by the brain to maximize survival.
- 37:12So people think, or uh um scientists think that this goes way back.
- 37:18Uh our basically our survival instinct.
- 37:20So we use sensory data, we use internal expectations, past experiences, all this.
- 37:26The brain puts in a blender, so to speak, and as a kind of quote unquote predictive machine, and it fills in the gaps and smoothing over inconsistency.
- 37:35So the bottom line is our human beings, and I'm talking about the protesters mainly, their perceived reality is filtered.
- 37:43It could be a quote unquote controlled hallucination rather, rather, than a real replica of the external world.
- 37:50At least their interpretations of why they are protesting against ice and holding these horrible uh it's not only Minneapolis, it could be any riot.
- 38:02I mean, how about in Los Angeles recently?
- 38:05Remember that?
- 38:06Uh uh Los Angeles, and it wasn't necessarily about ice, but uh what yeah, actually it was.
- 38:12But then you had border patrol mainly, and it was a border patrol agent, by the way, who who shot and likely in self-defense, this uh ICU nurse.
- 38:23Um anyway, hold that thought, hold that thought.
- 38:25Uh time goes fast.
- 38:27Uh, we're gonna speak about this on the other side.
- 38:29Time for a commercial.
- 38:31And again, we thank Mr.
- 38:32Ed Huglin, and he will grace us with his words of wisdom in just a moment.
- 38:38Have you been looking for a healthy snack for on the go?
- 38:40But all the energy and protein bars are just too sweet and full of sugar preservatives and mystery ingredients.
- 38:45Well, not all energy bars are soft and sugary.
- 38:47Bear bars are a crunchy savory bar made from just six simple natural ingredients made with veggies, nuts, and seeds, bear bars are plant-based, organic, gluten-free, contain six grams of protein, and are low temp dried for a unique crunch.

- 40:02This is Malcolm here.

- 40:10Right at the top of America Outlaw Doc News are the words.
- 40:14Many voices, one freedom, united in the First Amendment.
- 40:22Now is our time, my fellow Americans.
- 40:26America outlaw dot news, liberty and justice for all.
- 40:37And we are back with Mr.
- 40:39Ed Huglin.
- 40:40We were just getting into the topic of perception versus true reality.
- 40:46And I was connecting the uh the rioters to to this, and and you could you could actually extrapolate to any riot, really, uh, or many.
- 40:56I I would say this, many riots, not all if you look at Iran, that's a very justified protest, I think.
- 41:03Extremely, extremely justified.
- 41:06But what we're seeing in Minneapolis and previously Los Angeles and others.
- 41:10So I want to get into this because the brain is really, they say a powerful Oregon, it's more than powerful.
- 41:17So there are studies out there, and and there are um theories.
- 41:23So naive realism is one.
- 41:26And what that is is um that humans tend to believe that they see the world exactly as it is.
- 41:33So they're deluding themselves.
- 41:35But they're not realizing their own brain's role in the interpretation.
- 41:43Most people don't do that.
- 41:45They don't say, well, my brain is interpreting this.
- 41:48Could I be wrong?
- 41:51Okay, and you know, so it's in self of in terms of self or introspection.
- 41:55Um, there's something called top-down processing.
- 41:58So what we believe, we know, we feel strongly.
- 42:02Uh, yeah, that's our principles, if you will, very loosely, but but that influences our perceptions and could be completely altering our experiences, what were the raw sensory experiences.
- 42:17So, in other words, they're taking a situation, yeah, illegal.
- 42:22So they may know right away, yeah, that it's not legal, or yeah, they could be murdering some people, but it's not right.
- 42:29It's just not right what ICE is doing.
- 42:33So consequently, that that foments their thoughts.
- 42:36And and then there's biases, there's I mentioned evolutionary filtering that that our sensory system um systems, our hearing, our vision, our brain.
- 42:47They only capture very limited spectrum of the environment necessary for survival.
- 42:52I'll give you an example.
- 42:53This person who was shot, uh, what's his name?
- 42:57Um, there you go.
- 43:00So you saw the videos that he was kicking out the rear-end uh uh life.
- 43:07Okay, so so that that wasn't pleasant, obviously.
- 43:10And that that laid the groundwork for him, and he came back.
- 43:14He came back and he was involved again.
- 43:17So they're basically what is it called?
- 43:20Um they're uh they are puncturing a stuffed pig.
- 43:25In other words, and and ice being the stuffed pig, another or bear, puncturing a bear.
- 43:30Um how can you not have a bad outcome when individuals or or that's Renee Good with her car?
- 43:39Um, I I would say they are the fault of their own um death.
- 43:46But anyway, uh, and then there's others, memory editing.
- 43:49The the perception is just not about the present moment, it's continuously influenced by past experiences and memory.
- 43:56So I don't know, maybe these individuals have bad dreams or bad images of cops when they were little.
- 44:03I don't know.
- 44:04And what they're reconstructing just adds to the misperceptions and then what the media spews out there.
- 44:13But the bottom line is you don't go and protest and get your car and start ramming officers.
- 44:20You don't go and start uh fomenting violence with officers, carry a loaded gun.
- 44:27Okay, excuse me, there's that's legal, and now some say that he was grabbing for it.
- 44:33Um these poor police officers and ICE agents, they have have to make split second decisions, and the vast, vast, vast majority of individuals are not in that position to make split decisions.
- 44:50And uh, you know, they're investigating this, yes, but I I'm sorry.
- 44:56I I don't give this individual Petty uh a lot of sympathy.
- 45:00I I I people may disagree with me, a lot of people may disagree with me, but um what say you?
- 45:07Well, there's a couple things here.
- 45:08So what is the most powerful weapon in the world, Franco?
- 45:12A woman's anger.
- 45:15No, the human mind.
- 45:16The human mind would.
- 45:17I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
- 45:18I got you.
- 45:19You got me.
- 45:20You got me.
- 45:21You just lost half of your audience.
- 45:23I know.
- 45:24I I I'm so sorry.
- 45:26Cal Obama's gonna agree with me.
- 45:28Cal Thomas would agree with me.
- 45:30So let me let me let me highlight a few things here.
- 45:32It's the human mind.
- 45:33That's why I wrote the book on cognitive warfare, because the left is very adept at influencing what they know about the human mind, the thing you're pointing out.
- 45:43Yeah, polyvagal theory is fight or flight, right?
- 45:46Okay, yeah.
- 45:47Both for N A good and this petri guy, okay, they were trained and programmed.
- 45:52They both read into and were given the handbook, okay, and how to do anti-eye stuff.
- 45:58Okay.
- 45:59So these people are part of our sword.
- 46:01But this is this is part of the problem and why we continue to lose this cognitive wars, because we continually react to these these things, and they create the false narratives, cause us to react and they distract from everything else that's going on in America that's good.
- 46:16And this is what they want.
- 46:17Okay.
- 46:17They want to distract from everything else that's going on as good and create new victims.
- 46:22Another analogy: the affordability issue.
- 46:25Who created the hellhole from which we came in affordability, the massive inflation, okay?
- 46:31The trillions and wasted money in terms of the Green New Deal and stuff like that.
- 46:36Is Democrats?
- 46:37Yep.
- 46:37Now, what did they do with that?
- 46:39They turned that term and they used that to then blame Republicans for the affordability issue they created.
- 46:46Oh, and then they created new victims trying to portray themselves as supporting the working class.
- 46:52But then you get you get the perfect example of the hypocrisy they have, and a lady like Abigail Spamberger in Virginia.
- 47:00Okay.
- 47:00Oh, she comes into Virginia saying she's a moderate.
- 47:04She does away with all the cooperative agreements to deal with ice, so there is no guns.
- 47:10Like in West Virginia, had a great uh take out of West Virginia, okay?
- 47:14No violence, but she does away with all those things, but then she comes in and she wants to tax everything from your dog walking to your electronic leaf blower to bank ass leaf blowers.
- 47:25Well, I I have a comment on that.
- 47:27I I think Republicans have no one, or conservatives, even conservative Democrats who would vote Republican, uh have no one to blame other than themselves in that particular issue, because I I think it's almost similar to Trump in his second when he was running in 2020, uh, in that election.
- 47:49So the the Republicans did not have their act together in terms, and and even I would blame President Trump, and I never really do, but uh he he did not campaign for Winston Sears.
- 48:02Linsa Sears did not have a cohesive campaign, uh, although she would have been so much better governor, I can tell you right now.
- 48:10Um, absolutely, but but you're right, she didn't have a cohesive campaign.
- 48:15And this goes to this is goes to the concern.
- 48:18So remember for the last year now, how Republicans talking about how the Democratic Party is split and a blah blah blah.
- 48:24No, it's not.
- 48:25Yeah, it's already been taken over by the radicals years ago.
- 48:29It's not.
- 48:30And so they were sitting on the laurels, expecting to be handed the elections and other stuff like that.
- 48:35Okay, and this is what the left relies on is our complete ignorance in how this political and power battle occur.
- 48:46For sure.
- 48:47For sure, absolutely.
- 48:49And and uh let me ask you this.
- 48:52I mean, I'm gonna extrapolate even more that uh this this chips away at the fabric of our country, and in terms of cognitive war, uh I I had a show on in we did, we did recently intra national cognitive war issues, but of course, international.
- 49:13Could the Chinese, Russians, others, people who are even the Iranians who uh wish ill will to us uh uh have a role in this, uh, have a role in, and I think they do in terms of funding, well, soros, but it uh does he have his his hands uh internationally in in funding these individuals because it takes money to it takes money and they're finally starting to track that down.
- 49:39So there's there's uh there's a guy who's out of Shanghai, okay, who is uh a former American, okay.
- 49:46He may still have American citizenship, but he's out of Shanghai.
- 49:50He's affiliated with the CCP, and he's tied to this funding.
- 49:53So again, the Trump administration is finally starting to realize this.
- 49:56You know, when when they came into office, I sent them a plan and the background.
- 50:00And part of the plan said that you're going to have to either uh declare a national emergency or even in some cases martial law and several different regions of the uh United States because this type of violence is going to expand and explode.
- 50:15Okay.
- 50:16That was over 18 months ago.
- 50:19Okay.
- 50:19And I and that plan I sent to mass security advisor who got uh uh moved to then the UN uh ambassador, okay?
- 50:26Yes.
- 50:27Uh I recommended they do a number of things at the federal, state, local level to prepare for this.
- 50:33The lack of doing those types of things and lack of preparation for those things is why we continually react here.
- 50:39Now we're less than uh nine months away from the uh about nine months away from the midterms and stuff, and we're reacting again, and this is right where the left wing wants us to be.
- 50:49Of course.
- 50:50And we it's so unnecessary, and especially with the broad support of the American people to actually deport every illegal, okay.
- 50:59We have no strategic communications.
- 51:01We've lost your ability to do that.
- 51:02Uh Donald Trump is the best one at doing that, but he can't do it himself.
- 51:06No, can't do it himself.
- 51:08I mean, you you can see that he's doing the way his uh modus upper undead of of uh campaigning, well, he's still doing that, uh, and trying to, you know, uh enthusiasm.
- 51:19And and and it speaks to the human brain complacency.
- 51:23I'm talking about the Republican Party and conservative Democrats who vote Republican.
- 51:28Um the the wonderful victory, of course, the election of Trump, but and then the laurels uh, you know, riding on a high, but it takes a lot of work to so for example.
- 51:42Oh, this is a football analogy.
- 51:45The New England Patriots, uh, I didn't even know that they're playing in this this year's Super Bowl, but but they they won the Super Bowl, you know, how many consecutive times, right?
- 51:56Yes.
- 51:56And it didn't just come on a silver platter.
- 51:59That took a tremendous amount of work.
- 52:04Did it take luck?
- 52:05Well, I don't even, I would say no, I would say tremendous amount of work.
- 52:09Consequently, if the conservatives and the republicans want to uh still lead the House by by more votes than they have now, or more seats than they have now, and and still overtake the Senate, etc.
- 52:21They uh it takes work.
- 52:24You don't just sit there, it's like anything.
- 52:27You want to accomplish anything in life of any substance.
- 52:32Um, you know, Ben Carson spoke about this too.
- 52:36Uh you need to work very hard.
- 52:39And I I hate to say this, but yes, the momentum and momentum is very important too.
- 52:45Momentum, enthusiasm, the the media helps in all this.
- 52:49I yeah, I still think the Republicans and conservatives will win, but but I'm I'm getting a little worried about the mids.
- 52:58We have a big challenge here.
- 52:59So let's just go back and let's take an example of how how we can uh carry forth a better message.
- 53:06Over a year and a half ago, almost two years ago, there was an illegal bioweapons lab that was uh found accidentally in California that had over a thousand special modified genetic mice costing over a million dollars.
- 53:22Mumorous different pathogens and stuff that were found there, okay.
- 53:26That was discovered accidentally.
- 53:29A bioweapons lab inside the United States run by the Chinese.
- 53:33Ah just this last week here, a such lab was found in a home that was related to that.
- 53:42At the time of that first uh discovery, I suggested that the American government needs to strongly look at this because that is probably a depot for other places.
- 53:53Sure.
- 53:53They just discovered another place in California that uh had similar types of bioweapon capabilities there, but it's right next to an Air Force base.
- 54:03And so what Americans need to understand, and what um uh Donald Trump and the nation needs to highlight is these threats are continual or pervasive, and why is it because we had open borders.
- 54:17And all we're asking for Americans to do and for members of Congress and the Democrats to do is follow the laws they passed and support the law enforcement, which they supported and stop the judicial and congressional insurrection against our law enforcement.
- 54:35So, in other words, we need a strategy, we need a plan, and we need methodical execution.
- 54:39So let me let me ask you this, and and my my audience may not agree with me, but what you're just saying takes a little bit of thought, right?
- 54:50A little bit of uh, I want to say intelligence, uh, but but more important introspection and thought of what you're saying and contemplation on the uh trajectory of our country and and and proactivity as well, being proactive.
- 55:11So my contention is that the American public has a very significant responsibility in um in learning, learning in educating themselves in being not being uh falling uh to the to the hypocrisy of group think in terms of their voting patterns and thinking patterns.
- 55:38Yes, and and that's my thought.
- 55:41And and so I wrote a piece, The Hypocrisy of the Progressive Left.
- 55:45And I also wrote the not so strange bedfellow of the Progressive Left just recently.
- 55:51And and I want to share a couple things with you.
- 55:53So the recent Gallup polls, 1920 or 2024, 2012, among the Democratic Party, the members in the United States.
- 56:01They're categorized, at least it looks like this.
- 56:0450 to 55 percent are liberal slash progressives, these are more Democrats.
- 56:1034 to 43 percent moderate, six to twelve percent conservative.
- 56:14So it appears to be possibly just as many moderate and conservative Democrats as uh liberal Democrats.
- 56:22Now, uh a Pew Research, a little bit different.
- 56:2616% of Democrats self-identify as quote, very liberal or progressive, the rest not.
- 56:34So um, but so I I think about this, and I think about again the hypocrisies in so many different.
- 56:43I mean, you start with ice, what we're talking about, CBP, uh about law enforcement.
- 56:49You you talk about all these different things and ulterior motives, ulterior motives to bloodbath, as you say, and seeking power, and and and just not liking Donald Trump.
- 57:01You you may agree with his principles, but you can't stand the personality.
- 57:05So I'm gonna vote against him because I just don't like it.
- 57:08I I don't like him.
- 57:09I don't this is what many are thinking.
- 57:11It could be just as simple as that, and I I'll bet you a lot of people vote like that.
- 57:16I just don't like them.
- 57:17Mr.
- 57:17Hugland and I, we just solved all the problems here, huh?
