- 0:04SPEAKER_00: Welcome to the You Already Know Podcast, a show all about intuition and the wild, mysterious ways our inner knowing speaks to us.
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: In each episode, you'll hear stories from guests about life-changing moments when they trusted their intuition, even though it completely defied logic and how it changed the trajectory of their lives.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: It will be fun, at times hilarious, and deeply inspiring.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: I'm so grateful you're here.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: Now let's dive into today's episode.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: And I'm going to answer some of the questions that I've already been receiving from you guys.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: So, first of all, why the heck did I start this podcast?
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: Well, after almost 14 years of coaching people, thousands of people all over the world, there has been a through line in all of my coaching.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: And it's really been about helping people remember how to trust their intuition and the unique way that it speaks to them and trusting their body signals.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: And I have seen everything you can imagine in coaching so many people throughout these years as far as life situations and circumstances.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: And I think the world has gotten, I mean, we all know it, it has become so loud.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: It has become so loud and so chaotic.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: And it is pulling and vying for our attention all the time.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: And it is encouraging us in so many ways, including with AI, to outsource our knowing, to outsource our decision making.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: And it's becoming easier and easier to do that right at our fingertips.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: And so I think it's actually more important than ever to actually be quieting the noise of the outside world, getting still, trusting that inner knowing that is primal within us, that we have always had, that everybody, every human has carried since the beginning of time within them, and trusting that again more than anything.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: Because you have it in you, I have it in me.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: We all walk with this inner knowing that's available to us in any given moment.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: And the thing is, is that we live in a society that for so long has overly praised and uh what is the word I'm looking for?
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: Not just praised, but overly encouraged logic and valued it to such an extent that it has actually dismissed intuition.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: And yet, intuition, when you think about it, that's where and how so many of the most wonderful things in life have been created.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: Businesses have been born.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: Trusting those instincts have led you to cultivating the most incredible relationships, turning points in your life.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: It all comes from trusting that inner knowing.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: It often comes from moments that defy logic.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: And so I wanted to share with you stories of people's lives when they did, when they trusted that inner knowing, even though everything in them, especially in their mind, was telling them to do otherwise.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: And what happened as a result?
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: Because I'm sure that you have felt it, like your body is probably screaming at you more than ever before.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: And that's how our intuition speaks to us.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: It speaks to us through our bodies.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: And I've gotten a crash course in this, which I'll tell you about in a minute.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: But it's screaming at us more than ever before because our souls are wanting us to live an aligned life.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: It wants you to live in alignment with who you truly are and let go of all the BS conditioning that we've all received so that we can live in alignment.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: And the way that your intuition can get your attention is speaking through your body because the mind has probably for so long told you all the reasons why you shouldn't do whatever it is that truly lights you up, right?
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: The shoulds probably come in really strong.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: And that's what the mind's job is.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: It's to keep you in the comfort zone of what it already knows.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: But your intuition knows so much more than your mind because your mind is conditioned.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: So it's just going to keep you in the cycle of whatever your comfort zone is based on the conditioning that it's received.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: Whereas your intuition has access to that divine guidance that is all-knowing, that sees the path before you and knows what's the most aligned choice where you will feel the most alive and the most you.
- 4:55SPEAKER_00: And so it's always guiding you towards that in every life decision, as small as like what to put in your coffee and what to eat, as big as the relationships and jobs you're in.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: And so I just wanted to provide a space that is all about you listening to that wise knowing, opening up to the magic and mystery of life, because that's what happens when you allow yourself to be intuitively guided and to give your mind a rest.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: Because we're moving into an era that is about just that.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: It is about moving away from logic and moving away from being so heavily focused in our minds, which again, your body's probably screaming at you that it's tired of that too, because it's time to be guided by that wise intelligence.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: And um this is happening in the new paradigm, which is spoken about in human design at great lengths, which is going to be here in 2027.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: So we're almost there.
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: And that's where there's a divide in consciousness happening in humanity.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: And Jen is always the greatest person to follow for this.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: Um, I am not an expert on it, but I study it a lot and I feel really passionate about sharing it because I think people are already feeling it.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: People who weren't even into spirituality are suddenly so into it because they can feel the pull from their body.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: It is like their body's carrying them there without their mind and their minds are trying to catch up.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: And so we're gonna dive deeper into this, but let me share a little bit more about my backstory and why I love talking about intuition so much.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: Because trust me, just like you, I have had to dance with it my whole life.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: And of course I have, because it's my greatest purpose in in this lifetime, according to human design.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: If you know anything about human design, I'm gonna be talking about it a lot on the podcast.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: But my life purpose, which there's I think 194 purposes in human design, and mine is to hone my intuitive gifts.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: So, of course, like all of us, the thing that is my greatest gift is the thing that I'm gonna dance with the most.
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna doubt, I'm gonna have fear around.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: And trust me, I have done that a lot in this life.
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: Um, but I have always been extremely intuitive since I was a little girl.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: And I used to feel things, I used to know things and not know why I knew them.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: As soon as I walk into a room, I can feel and sense the energy of the whole room and pick up on the vibes of people and I could tell what they're feeling and thinking.
- 7:23SPEAKER_00: And as you can imagine when you're little and nobody to talk to about that, it was very overwhelming.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: However, I did have a mom, which I'm so thankful for, and a dad, who both encouraged me to trust my intuition.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: That was a constant conversation in their household, which is kind of wild because I grew up in Connecticut and everybody very much values like what your parents do and what college you're going to.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: They're not into spirituality at all.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: Um, and I grew up in the household that was very what I would call bohemian.
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: And my parents were talking about intuition and always encouraging us to just pursue whatever it is that we love.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: So in that way, it was very nurtured.
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: But as far as like the feeling, I guess I just didn't talk to my parents about it that much.
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: How I just knew things and then they would happen was kind of wild.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: And that really came to a head when I was, I want to say I was 12, but my brother had just come home from college, my oldest brother Ian, and my mom said, We've got to go see Ian because he's sick.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: And uh he's really sick, so we need to go take care of him.
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: He's at his apartment.
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: So we walked into the room, and the second we walked into that room, I knew something was really wrong.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: And I looked at my brother laying on the couch and I looked at my mom and I said, Ian's dying, and we need to take him to Yale Hospital right now.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: And she, I understandably so.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: She she was trying to assess the situation or figure out what's going on, and you know, I was traumatic.
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: And so she was like, Ashley, he's not dying.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: We just need to get him to the hospital and figure out what's going on.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: And but I had this sick feeling in my stomach, and I just knew something was really, really wrong.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: And as soon as we got there, they said they ran some tests and they said that he was three days away from dying, 72 hours away from dying, because of the loss of blood in his stools, because he had been going to the bathroom.
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: And then they misdiagnosed him with Crohn's disease.
- 9:17SPEAKER_00: And then after that experience, my parents had to rush him to Yale Hospital and like three days later, in order for him to get the proper care.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: And then he was in the hospital for over three months.
- 9:31SPEAKER_00: And that experience jarred me to my core.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: There's no way to even explain it.
- 9:36SPEAKER_00: But I was like, how did I know this?
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: And then I was terrified of my brother dying.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: And I didn't go visit him in the hospital for over two weeks because he was my soulmate, my person, my idol.
- 9:47SPEAKER_00: And it was so scary to me to see him that sick that I just couldn't, I couldn't face it.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: And he ended up getting really sick and having to rehabilitate for years afterwards uh with ulcerative colitis.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: And he, anyways, I don't have to go into all those details, but he had to learn how to walk again.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: He lost 60 pounds.
- 10:09SPEAKER_00: It was like very, very traumatic.
- 10:12SPEAKER_00: But after that experience, I shut down those gifts because I was so scared of knowing things that scared me like that, and I didn't know what to do with them.
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: So then, cut to my life of, you know, being in my 20s, I had a clothing and furniture store with my mom, which was so much fun.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: And that was like my first career.
- 10:37SPEAKER_00: We had a clothing and furniture store, and I loved it.
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: And it was like our version of anthropology, okay.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: And I guess I was intuitive in the sense of like I would pick out designers in that way, of like what who whatever designer I was drawn to.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: But I was just in my creative phase and having a blast.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: But something intuitively came over me while I was in that store, which is I noticed that no matter what size, color, ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic situation the woman it was in, no matter what the woman looked like, every woman who came into our store would end up being hard on themselves and really picking themselves apart with their body.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: And I was, it just saddened me so much because I had overcome my own relationship with my body.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: Obviously, all of us women have this dance of learning how to have a good relationship with our bodies.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: And it's really actually glorified to not have a good one until somewhat recently.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: It was like a way that we bonded.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: And because I had overcome a decade-long eating disorder where I was in and out of hospitals from the ages of 12 to 21, I really worked very, very hard to have a good relationship with my body.
- 11:52SPEAKER_00: And now that I did, and I was running this store and I was helping women feel beautiful in their clothes, I didn't want that to be a place where that conversation of picking apart their bodies was nurtured.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: So I created what was called a no-negative self-talk zone in the in the dressing rooms.
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: And I informed all the women, like, listen, when you're here, we really want to cultivate positive self-talk and positive body, body positivity.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: And so with that, I'm gonna politely ask you to leave if you choose to speak negatively about yourself.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: And I really don't want you to leave.
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: We of course want you to stay here.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: However, this is an invitation for you to start to change your relationship.
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: That ended up leading to the most beautiful conversations with women.
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: And I loved it so much.
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: And I got this sense, even at that point, like, oh, this is really what I want to spend my time doing.
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: Cut two, I got kind of bored after 10 years of doing the clothing and furniture store.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: And believe it or not, I opened a gourmet cookie boutique and it was called Yes You May.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: And I had a family friend who, you know, all my friends were telling me, because I baked cookies all the time.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: They were like, you should open a cookie store.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: And when I was little, I wanted to be Mrs.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: Fields Cookies.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: Do you guys remember Mrs.
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: Field's cookies in the mall?
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: Oh my God, I wanted to be her so badly.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: I wanted to make cinnamon sugar cookies all day and make everybody happy by baking cookies.
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: So now here I am in my early 30s, and a family friend offers to invest, and I'm like, sure, why not?
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: I guess I'll do it.
- 13:26SPEAKER_00: Well, this was the season of there's no other way to put it, but like holy shit circus of life.
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: It was everything happened all at once.
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: So as I was building the company and still running the family business, my brother um tragically passed away.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: And it was not something we were expecting, although I kind of knew it was coming.
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: He'd been really struggling mentally for a long time.
- 13:57SPEAKER_00: And I got a call while I was at the family business from my dad, and he said, Go get your mom.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: Um, she was at her house, and I said, I'm not gonna close the business to go get my mom.
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: Why are you telling me to do that?
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: And my dad is like the kindest, sweetest man alive.
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: And he got kind of stern with me.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: He's like, Go get your mother.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: And my dad never speaks to me that way.
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: So in that moment, you guys, I got that another intuitive knowing that was so strong it came over my whole body.
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: And I called my boyfriend at the time and I said, I need you to tell me a story because I have to drive 25 minutes to my mom's house, and either my parents are getting a divorce or my brother's dead, and I can't focus.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: So I need you to tell me a story so that I can just be safe driving and getting there.
- 14:43SPEAKER_00: And so he told me a story about a frog.
- 14:46SPEAKER_00: God bless him.
- 14:47SPEAKER_00: Uh, we ended up getting married, but he was so sweet and did it.
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: And I arrived, and sure enough, my mom told me that my brother had passed.
- 14:57SPEAKER_00: And I just knew it.
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: I knew it in my stomach before it happened.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: I knew that he had passed.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: And this is part of part of why I want to do this podcast is because like I want to encourage people to trust those knowings.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: So I ended up throwing everything in sight, screaming, crying, throwing everything I could get my hands on because I was obviously devastated.
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: And I just went into go mode.
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: I I just went into complete go mode.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: I went into taking care of the family business, trying to take care of my mom.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: Obviously, she's going, we're all going through the hardest time, but my mom was a single mom with my brother when he was really young.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: And so it was just the hardest thing in the world to watch her go through.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: And so I was like, well, I'm just gonna take care of everybody.
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: So I did the best that I could.
- 15:51SPEAKER_00: And I was also, by the way, still opening this business.
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: So I opened the cookie store several months later, almost a year later.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: And then I get engaged to um the man that was my husband for 10 years.
- 16:06SPEAKER_00: And so it was this whirlwind.
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: It was like a roller coaster whirlwind circus of life, all in the matter of a year's time.
- 16:15SPEAKER_00: And I was running this business, yes, you may, and it was all about encouraging people to enjoy life.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: And it was positive affirmations, and it was like, oh, this is going to be my platform to really help people.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: But after making a thousand cookies a day and being busy, I realized really I liked the conversations with the clients more than anything.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: And that's when somebody offered for me to become a life coach by gifting me a life coaching course where I could get certified to become a coach.
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: And they offered it to me.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: And I was like, oh my God, sure.
- 16:46SPEAKER_00: Cause at that point, I'd been working with a coach for over 10 years who had been encouraging me to become a coach, but I just didn't think I had that in me.
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: I was like, no, I'm an entrepreneur and I like run stores.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: I don't do that with people.
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: But once this was offered to me, and as you probably know, if you've gone through any form of grief where you've lost somebody you love, it just puts such a spotlight on what's most important to you in life.
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: It inspires you to fully live your life, at least it did me, where there was like, I couldn't, there was no not taking risks.
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: There was no like pretending that I didn't know the truth in my body.
- 17:24SPEAKER_00: And so I knew that I couldn't go on doing this cookie store and I didn't want to drag it on.
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: And so when I got offered this opportunity to coach, I was like, oh my God, I'm gonna do it.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: So I closed the business, left, and I've been coaching ever since.
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: So that was 14 years ago.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: Now, initially, I was coaching people through helping, helping a lot of women predominantly launch purpose-driven careers.
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: But I would say the first eight years of my career was that.
- 17:54SPEAKER_00: And I loved it so much.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: Whether they were like moving from corporate world or stay-at-home moms, launching new businesses, it was so rewarding to see these women, you know, truly tap into their souls and do what makes their soul come alive and then give that as an offering to the world and then watch them grow these businesses.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: It was amazing.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: But what I realized over time was what I was really helping them do was come home to themselves, to who they truly were, and then expressing that out into the world.
- 18:22SPEAKER_00: This show is brought to you by something I made with my whole heart, the Owning It Journal, a manifestation journal that helps you strengthen your intuition and come home to your most authentic self.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: Each section pairs four daily prompts with guided meditations that regulate your nervous system before you write.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: So you're creating from your inner knowing instead of fear, pressure, or conditioning.
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: And you already know listeners get 15% off at ashsabulka.com with code you already know 15.
- 18:52SPEAKER_00: That's you already know one five, all one word in all caps.
- 18:58SPEAKER_00: And I've gotta say, these journals make great gifts for your friends.
- 19:02SPEAKER_00: Now back to the show.
- 19:06SPEAKER_00: And then I went through a divorce.
- 19:09SPEAKER_00: And that was when I experienced a massive psychic awakening that kind of rocked me to my core again, but in a very different way.
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: It was beautiful, it was magical.
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: It it like all of a sudden, all my abilities to tune into the other realms that we all have the ability to do just came so strongly online that I didn't even know what to do with it.
- 19:33SPEAKER_00: And thankfully, I had incredible people that came into my life, guides, coaches, and energy healers that helped me understand how to harness these gifts and trust them.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: But it was a dance.
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: I would be lying to you if I told you otherwise.
- 19:49SPEAKER_00: I danced with doubt on the daily, but it was also such a strong knowing that came over me that I couldn't, I was seeing visions, I was having dreams, and then these things would happen in real time.
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: And I had this experience where my body was just being carried to New York.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: Now, if if you've ever allowed yourself to be fully guided by life, you know what I mean.
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: It's like it was my mind was involved, but it was such a, it was like in the background.
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: It was like my body knew what I needed to do, and I was just trusting it for the first time in my life, fully trusting it and just going where my body knew I meant to be needed to be.
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: And the more that I did that, the more synchronicities, the more magic happened, the more opportunities landed in my lap, the more incredible people I interacted with.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: It was like one serendipitous moment after another.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: And my life continues to be that whenever I spend time in New York.
- 20:41SPEAKER_00: And so after going through the divorce, I started coaching a lot of people through divorce.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: And I loved it.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: And it was very rewarding because I'm very proud of how I handled the divorce and that my former husband and I were very good friends, and we have a great relationship, and our daughter has done so well.
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: So I was really grateful to be able to give back from my experience.
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: Um and I'm moving away from that now.
- 21:09SPEAKER_00: I'm getting back to helping people that are in any kind of life transition, but I do have a lot of people coming to me that are going through identity crisis in work where they've been overly identified with their job and they no longer want to do it, or they're just in a big life transition and they want to come home to themselves.
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: And so much of coming home to yourself is trusting your intuition.
- 21:32SPEAKER_00: And the reason why I help people rewire their subconscious and nervous system, which is what I do through Psyche K and my owning it method, the reason why I do that is because those are the blocks that are keeping you from hearing your intuition, which is always speaking to you all day, every day.
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: The things that are keeping you from that is the program that's running in the subconscious and nervous system.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: So in my coaching, I go ahead and help people rewire those beliefs so that they're aligned.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: With your well-being.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: And so that you can, and so that they also align with trusting your intuition.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: Because when those two are at odds, that's when you feel that cha-cha of like your mind's telling you one thing, but your body knows something else.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: Or you consciously know you want one thing, but subconsciously you keep going back to the same old patterns, the same old relationships, the same old self-defeating habits.
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: And so when we rewire those beliefs that lead to those behaviors so that they're aligned with what you do want, you start to make those changes and transformations very naturally and with so much more ease.
- 22:33SPEAKER_00: So that's the coaching that I do.
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: And there's a lot of conversation with my clients about intuitive embodiment, like getting back, getting out of your head and into your body and trusting the signals it's giving you.
- 22:49SPEAKER_00: Because women especially have spent lifetimes dancing with doubt.
- 22:55SPEAKER_00: And we've been living in a world, like I said, that values logic over intuitive knowing.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: And yet intuitive knowing is the wisest part of us.
- 23:07SPEAKER_00: It hasn't been conditioned like the mind.
- 23:10SPEAKER_00: And so the more that you drop back into trusting those signals from your body, the more that you are remembering your wholeness, which is what all of us are here to experience in this life.
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: And so that's what I really want this podcast to serve as this, I hope, catalyst, as also like a warm hug for you to listen to every week of people's stories, of what it looks and feels like to dance with the doubt of trusting your intuition and also the amazing magic that comes from trusting it and the beautiful relationship that you cultivate with yourself.
- 23:49SPEAKER_00: You become stronger, more resilient.
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: But most importantly, self-trust and trust in the divine, because this is an opportunity for you to strengthen that connection that you have with the divine, which we all have.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: And the more that you foster that connection and allow that to be your guiding force, much more than AI, much more than the news, the more that you're going to be able to hear and see and feel what your path is calling you towards at this point of your life.
- 24:19SPEAKER_00: And it's a day-to-day process, you know?
- 24:22SPEAKER_00: And so that's what I wanted this to be is this like safe place on the internet for you to connect and strengthen that connection and learn how to trust it even more.
- 24:34SPEAKER_00: And there's no better way to do that than through hearing other people's stories, in my opinion.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: And you're going to hear a lot about the journal because the journal that I've created is the sponsor of this podcast.
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: And the reason why I created this journal is because, again, like I've coached thousands of people, and it is so easy for everyone to outsource their decision making, to think that somebody else knows the answers.
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: And even in my coaching, and all, and in my opinion, all the best coaches and guides, they're always guiding you back to your inner knowing.
- 25:07SPEAKER_00: It is never about somebody else's opinion.
- 25:10SPEAKER_00: And we are moving into an era that is about trusting that inner knowing and being being able to decipher the truth in your body and trusting the signals of your body more than what you're seeing in the visual world.
- 25:23SPEAKER_00: And the owning it journal is the it's the tool that I wanted to create for you to trust that.
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: So again, having coached all these people, I wanted you to have a tangible thing you can do every day to tune into your soul's wisdom.
- 25:39SPEAKER_00: Because to me, your intuition is the voice of your soul.
- 25:43SPEAKER_00: Your body is actually in your soul.
- 25:46SPEAKER_00: So your body and mind is in your soul.
- 25:49SPEAKER_00: That's why your body knows so much more than what your mind can know, because it's in the consciousness of your soul.
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: And so if you listen to that more than the mind, you're going to start to notice the more aligned you are in your life.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: And the journal, the owning it journal, comes with two guided meditations because I wanted it to be a whole experience for you.
- 26:11SPEAKER_00: I know how hard it is sometimes to sit down and just like write and think of what to write.
- 26:16SPEAKER_00: And I also know that sometimes it's really helpful to drop into a meditation first.
- 26:21SPEAKER_00: So there's an owning it meditation, and then there's also a nervous system reset meditation because it is so much easier to hear your intuition when your nervous system is balanced.
- 26:33SPEAKER_00: So those are in there on a QR code, and then you have four daily prompts.
- 26:37SPEAKER_00: That's it.
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: And it's all about what do you need to let go of?
- 26:41SPEAKER_00: And we all have stuff every day that we can let go of.
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: Let go of the checklist that's constantly running in your mind, or maybe it's let go of emotions that you're carrying from somebody else that are not yours to carry, or maybe it's stuff with work.
- 26:54SPEAKER_00: I mean, the list goes on and on, right?
- 26:56SPEAKER_00: But remembering that you don't have to carry everything, that is such a beautiful way to start.
- 27:02SPEAKER_00: Then it's diving into what is your soul being called to create in this day?
- 27:07SPEAKER_00: What is your intuition telling you?
- 27:09SPEAKER_00: And lastly, and of course, gratitude.
- 27:12SPEAKER_00: So what are you grateful for?
- 27:13SPEAKER_00: And I'm telling you, repeating this practice daily, which by the way, you don't have to do it daily.
- 27:19SPEAKER_00: There's no, I don't believe in rigidity.
- 27:22SPEAKER_00: So it's really what intuitively feels right for you.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: The whole thing is uh tuning into your intuition.
- 27:28SPEAKER_00: So this is a practice and just that.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: Like some days you may want to do it, but other days you may not.
- 27:33SPEAKER_00: But the more you ask these questions, the more you can hear that intuition and start to trust and act on it.
- 27:40SPEAKER_00: And we need people that are doing that more than ever.
- 27:46SPEAKER_00: So this is my invitation to you to join this movement of being intuitively embodied and let's have fun with it.
- 27:57SPEAKER_00: The other thing that I offer is coaching, um, is retreats, which I've done so many and I love.
- 28:03SPEAKER_00: And I've been, you some of you guys have been sending me in questions about that.
- 28:08SPEAKER_00: So I I started these retreats very intuitively.
- 28:12SPEAKER_00: Now that I think about it, everything in my career has been very intuitive.
- 28:15SPEAKER_00: As I'm saying this to you.
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: So I'm a 6-2 generator.
- 28:19SPEAKER_00: For those of you who know human design, I'm a 6-2 generator.
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: I have a sacral uh authority, which means that I am meant to just follow my gut instincts.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: The gut is black and white.
- 28:30SPEAKER_00: So it's like the things that feel fully expansive and as though my body's just being carried towards them.
- 28:36SPEAKER_00: That's a yes.
- 28:37SPEAKER_00: Or it's like a hell no.
- 28:39SPEAKER_00: There is no in between.
- 28:41SPEAKER_00: Um, and then I am what what other parts of my human design?
- 28:46SPEAKER_00: Oh, and then the clarion, which I already told you.
- 28:49SPEAKER_00: So like I'm here to hone my intuitive gifts.
- 28:52SPEAKER_00: And I just felt this call several years ago, I guess it was probably seven years ago now, where I just wanted to start doing retreats.
- 28:59SPEAKER_00: And I I've never, I've still never been on a retreat, believe it or not.
- 29:02SPEAKER_00: And I've led 65 of them.
- 29:04SPEAKER_00: Um, but I just wanted to create a retreat where it was like fun and this opportunity for women to really truly take a break from their lives where everything was taken care of and they felt spoiled rotten from the second they walked in the door to the second they left.
- 29:20SPEAKER_00: And it was luxurious and it was pampering, but it was also nurturing.
- 29:25SPEAKER_00: And it felt like their souls will be were being taken care of as well as their minds and bodies.
- 29:32SPEAKER_00: And so I've led many group retreats, but also lots of day retreats.
- 29:37SPEAKER_00: And for a while I had a business partner who I was doing that with.
- 29:42SPEAKER_00: Her name's Danny, and we had a great time doing that, and now I'm doing them solo again.
- 29:46SPEAKER_00: And so I offer day retreats in my home, and I also do them in New York City, and I do privates for people who are wanting private weekend retreats and day retreats, and I freaking love it because it's it's really an opportunity to do all the work that I just spoke of in such a sacred container and in a way that feels lots of people call them a spa day for your soul, which I love.
- 30:10SPEAKER_00: It's such it's the perfect description because it's one of those things that you guys, you just have to experience it.
- 30:16SPEAKER_00: It's such a hard thing to put into words.
- 30:20SPEAKER_00: Um, but we do everything that I just spoke of meditation.
- 30:24SPEAKER_00: We drink either rose tea or cacao.
- 30:26SPEAKER_00: I guide you through a visioning meditation, uh, where you get in tune with your soul and what you're being called to create.
- 30:32SPEAKER_00: You get in touch with your guides, spirit guides, and then, you know, we dive into some psyche, somatic movement, and human design.
- 30:41SPEAKER_00: And I make a nourishing lunch.
- 30:43SPEAKER_00: So it's really fun.
- 30:45SPEAKER_00: Lots of you have been asking questions about that.
- 30:47SPEAKER_00: So that's the day.
- 30:48SPEAKER_00: And if you have any questions, of course, you can always send me a message.
- 30:52SPEAKER_00: But I really want this podcast to be, you know, a warm hug on the internet for you, to trust that inner knowing that you already have inside of you.
- 31:03SPEAKER_00: And I want this place to be a safe place to build community for all of us to encourage that inner knowing, because I can't even count how many conversations I've had with people over all these years where they've been conditioned to doubt their inner knowing, to abandon themselves, especially in relationships, especially when the person is what would be perceived as very successful in this world, right?
- 31:29SPEAKER_00: Like the successful businessman who's made lots of money and who is intellectually smart, but yet very abusive at home.
- 31:38SPEAKER_00: Um so many of these women have been led to doubt themselves because they've been gaslit.
- 31:48SPEAKER_00: They have been told why they're they're wrong, why they're, you know, they're not as successful or, you know, whatever the story may be.
- 31:58SPEAKER_00: And it's led them down this rabbit hole of doubting that that intuitive knowing inside of them isn't as valuable as logic, but it couldn't be further from the truth.
- 32:11SPEAKER_00: And we are about to see that because there is an uprising in women who are done the dun dun dun dun dun dun with this nonsense.
- 32:21SPEAKER_00: We are done with with being put down, we are done being put into a corner, we are done being devalued, we are done with all of this stuff that leads us to believe that we have to fall into the patriarchy and follow those.
- 32:36SPEAKER_00: We're watching it fall apart, you guys.
- 32:38SPEAKER_00: We're watching it fall apart right before our eyes.
- 32:40SPEAKER_00: And it is going down with one hell of a fight, but we're watching it be dismantled.
- 32:46SPEAKER_00: And as that dismantling happens, it has never been more important for us to rise in our power, rise in our wholeness, knowing that we are whole and complete exactly as we are, that we do not need to heal ourselves till the freaking cows come home and never stop focusing on healing and thinking there's something broken in us.
- 33:04SPEAKER_00: We can be on a healing journey and remember that we're whole and that the inner knowing inside of us is the strongest guide we will ever have in this lifetime.
- 33:16SPEAKER_00: And so this is the space for you to nurture that.
- 33:20SPEAKER_00: We're gonna have the most amazing guests.
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: Please write in and let me know who you'd like for me to have on the show.
- 33:25SPEAKER_00: Please send me questions that you want me to answer.
- 33:28SPEAKER_00: I will do solo episodes, I will do, of course, interviews.
- 33:32SPEAKER_00: I want to know it all.
- 33:33SPEAKER_00: I want this to be a community that grows, that is so nurturing and loving.
- 33:38SPEAKER_00: And I'm just so grateful to have you here.
- 33:40SPEAKER_00: So thank you for listening to this.
- 33:42SPEAKER_00: Thank you for listening to my wild journey of trusting my intuition.
- 33:46SPEAKER_00: It has been a dance, and I'm sure I'll share a lot more along the way.
- 33:53SPEAKER_00: All right, I'll see you in the next episode.
