Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:20
February 14th, 2026, the Happy Saint Valentine's Day.
• 0:26
I'll give a shout out to the wife.
• 0:29
Happy Valentine's Day baby. I know we're not big on these
• 0:33
Hallmark type holidays, but happy Valentine's Day so and
• 0:38
same to the kid. Happy Valentine's Day, kid.
• 0:40
So what was not so happy was the result of last night's
• 0:44
yesterday's wager in which George Mason just decided to
• 0:49
roll over and let George Washington just beat him down to
• 0:53
the tune of almost 20. So it was never close and never
• 0:57
  really had a prayer. So.
• 0:58
But today, sticking to the college basketball heading all
• 1:01
the way out West, we got the Gonzagas playing Santa Clara,
• 1:05
the Broncos of Santa Clara, that is.
• 1:08
And I think that Santa, well, it's not, I think Santa Clara
• 1:12
right now is a 4 1/2 point underdog at home.
• 1:16
And what I think is they're getting the Rodney Dangerfield
• 1:19
treatment and ain't getting no respect, right?
• 1:22
  So they're getting 4 1/2. They're at home.
• 1:25
So I like that. I think they got a chance
• 1:27
because they're at home. Yes, it's Gonzaga.
• 1:29
Santa Clara is pretty good too. They're right there outside the
• 1:32
top 25. Gonzaga's just holding on to
• 1:35
being in the top 25. So I think this is going to be a
• 1:38
good matchup. So we're going to take those
• 1:39
points, probably do a little sprinkle and see what happens.
• 1:42
All right, so we're going Santa Clara Broncos plus 4 1/2 against
• 1:47
the Gonzaga Bulldogs in tonight's NCAA men's college
• 1:52
basketball action. It's anything better than that?
• 1:55
Pound it. That's my pick and I'm sticking
• 1:56
to it. Oh man, get some chocolate.
