- 0:58Speaker 5: you got your claw? That's good.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Yeah. I decided to flare my claw today. I woke
- 1:04Speaker 1: up I was having a claw morning. As you noticed.
- 1:08Speaker 1: It just meant that my hand wanted to be a
- 1:09Speaker 1: claw and it rose to position. I'm in a series
- 1:15Speaker 1: where I'm ten months on two months off, and they
- 1:17Speaker 1: switched the schedule this year, but my body got muscle
- 1:21Speaker 1: memory used to being clawed up. So this month, I'm
- 1:26Speaker 1: clawed up. Even though we don't shoot till next.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Sacrifices we made the life the wheel is.
- 1:31Speaker 5: You guys know what it is to be clawed up, right,
- 1:34Speaker 5: Ah yeah.
- 1:34Speaker 4: Oh yeah, oh brother, I know. Believe me, brother, I
- 1:38Speaker 4: know you brought that.
- 1:40Speaker 5: Clo out in quite a few series. You've seen it.
- 1:43Speaker 5: You've seen the claw. You know the claw. It's an
- 1:46Speaker 5: important part of the culture that is my life. I
- 1:49Speaker 5: love that.
- 1:49Speaker 6: When you went on the Jennifer Hudson Show, they interviewed
- 1:52Speaker 6: the claw first.
- 1:53Speaker 5: They did, and I said, excuse me, mind if I
- 1:55Speaker 5: cut in.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Yeah, the Jennifer Hudson Show, when you walk down the
- 1:59Speaker 3: hall way, they cheered the claw.
- 2:01Speaker 1: The.
- 2:03Speaker 4: Claw, the claw.
- 2:06Speaker 1: It's the claw, and I was running after it playing ketchup.
- 2:09Speaker 1: They love the claw. Everyone loves the claw.
- 2:11Speaker 6: Have you ever, guys done radio appearances? Not the same,
- 2:15Speaker 6: not the same.
- 2:16Speaker 3: They can't see your creature. They're definitely not going to
- 2:18Speaker 3: recognize your voice.
- 2:19Speaker 5: Yeah, well we should start my explaining the voices.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Let's go around huh uh, well yeah, yes.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Okay, okay, And just like I a Starbucks, all eyes
- 2:32Speaker 1: have fallen on me.
- 2:35Speaker 4: You are the guy with the claw.
- 2:38Speaker 5: What's up, guys. My name is Jerry Gentry.
- 2:41Speaker 1: You might know me as the fantastical Cryptophon, the nasty
- 2:47Speaker 1: creature from the epic Netflix series The Dark Night of
- 2:53Speaker 1: Gunther Tour.
- 2:55Speaker 7: Yes, the Friends slash Joker spin off with gun features
- 3:01Speaker 7: Gunther from the Coffee Shop.
- 3:03Speaker 4: That's right, that's my favorite show.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Yes, it is a fantastical imagining that asks the question
- 3:11Speaker 1: what if the Batman world and the Friends world united?
- 3:14Speaker 5: And what is so fantastical? And a lot of creatures
- 3:18Speaker 5: popped out from the melding.
- 3:20Speaker 1: So I'm actually a melding of Chandler and the Scarecrow
- 3:25Speaker 1: that's really.
- 3:27Speaker 5: Self fitting, and I have no problems with it. You're one.
- 3:32Speaker 5: I'll tell you.
- 3:33Speaker 1: The people that have problems, I can't tell they have
- 3:35Speaker 1: problems with my character or just in general with how
- 3:38Speaker 1: unappealing this ip mashup is. But I don't write, I
- 3:42Speaker 1: don't act. I am merely the law Claw.
- 3:48Speaker 8: Ye.
- 3:48Speaker 5: Exhilarating. Nice to meet you, guys. You've seen me in
- 3:52Speaker 5: a lot of other stuff too, but we're not going
- 3:53Speaker 5: to talk about it.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Mostly commercials, commercials, The Battery, Battery Boys.
- 4:00Speaker 7: The Battery Well, My name is Ellen Saint Clair. I
- 4:06Speaker 7: am a creature actor. I most famously paid played the
- 4:12Speaker 7: titular creature in Marley and Me.
- 4:16Speaker 5: I played the dog dogs. I played the dog horf.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Lots of people don't know that the dog was not
- 4:24Speaker 4: a real dog. It was me in prosthetics.
- 4:27Speaker 7: And I've played lots of dogs, lots of twisted, sick
- 4:31Speaker 7: little creatures sniffing around at the dog park. And so
- 4:36Speaker 7: I have gotten my starting playing you know, quite realistic animals.
- 4:42Speaker 7: And I owed all to my one acting teacher hundreds
- 4:47Speaker 7: of years ago.
- 4:48Speaker 4: I liked it, just kidding. Hasn't actually been.
- 4:50Speaker 7: A hundred dog years in dog years, in dog years exactly?
- 4:55Speaker 7: Who made us do animal work? Where we roamed around
- 4:59Speaker 7: on stage, We picked an animal we saw at the
- 5:01Speaker 7: zoo and we had to become that animal for an hour.
- 5:04Speaker 4: And I like that so much. I said, garn well, gosh,
- 5:07Speaker 4: darn itch, sign me up for a job. That's just that.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Darn well, that's that's so interesting. I think that's really interesting.
- 5:14Speaker 3: And we actually are in very similar fields. Uh, my
- 5:17Speaker 3: name is sir Gimpy, right, ah say that, sir, Sir
- 5:27Speaker 3: gem By Johnson.
- 5:28Speaker 5: Congratulations on your knighthood.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Thank you so much, one of the first Americans.
- 5:33Speaker 5: Scott Disick, Sir Scott Disick. Oh lord, whoop fuck lord.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Anyway, I am. I play one animal, one animal only, gorilla.
- 5:45Speaker 3: I'm a gorilla actor. And life has been good recently.
- 5:49Speaker 3: A lot of gorilla movies, lots of gorilla things going on.
- 5:54Speaker 5: And so whoa, whoa, whoa, hello, this guy a banana.
- 6:04Speaker 5: Sorry just a little.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Yeah, And I really, I really believe I could do it.
- 6:10Speaker 3: I felt like I was on the SERENGETI. Uh, well,
- 6:14Speaker 3: that's not where gorillas live at all. They are in
- 6:17Speaker 3: the mountain.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Well I wasn't saying because of that, I was talking
- 6:19Speaker 1: about the temperature. Actually, yeah, it's like you were a
- 6:22Speaker 1: heat We all got riled up.
- 6:26Speaker 3: So yeah, I'm a gorilla actor. Know, I know we
- 6:29Speaker 3: actually you who was your I had.
- 6:34Speaker 5: Live there? Do you know? You know? I talked to
- 6:41Speaker 5: the claw.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Okay, okay, plugging your drinks brand again, I guess talk
- 6:47Speaker 2: to the claw.
- 6:48Speaker 5: It's never gonna work because you are uphill bat.
- 6:53Speaker 3: No law already trying to make a seltzer called claw,
- 6:57Speaker 3: but it's white claw.
- 6:59Speaker 5: But with mean.
- 7:02Speaker 4: That's also illegal.
- 7:04Speaker 5: We gotonated it's a different brand, so I understand them.
- 7:08Speaker 7: I keep sending to my lawyer. I keep sending you
- 7:10Speaker 7: to my lawyer. You should talk to him. He'll explain
- 7:12Speaker 7: you a few takes.
- 7:17Speaker 5: All right. Yeah, so so dogs for you. Do you
- 7:25Speaker 5: do any other animals? Is what I was going to ask.
- 7:27Speaker 7: Well, I did a jellyfish once. I did a jellyfish once.
- 7:31Speaker 7: In my octopus teacher, I was a jellyfish. Who was
- 7:35Speaker 7: I did.
- 7:37Speaker 5: About the tidy octopus?
- 7:38Speaker 4: Yes, they brought into background players for a couple of
- 7:41Speaker 4: days of the scene.
- 7:42Speaker 3: When he's having this very uh you know, kind of
- 7:46Speaker 3: heart wrenching moment where the octopus has lost one of
- 7:48Speaker 3: its legs and you don't know if it's going to
- 7:49Speaker 3: survive it.
- 7:50Speaker 5: All of a sudden, there's a weird.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Pan to a woman jellyfish costume.
- 7:56Speaker 7: Well, and a lot of people to the naked eye
- 8:00Speaker 7: don't know that's a woman in there.
- 8:02Speaker 4: They think it's a jelly fish. But did you turned?
- 8:08Speaker 5: Are turned?
- 8:10Speaker 4: Sorry?
- 8:11Speaker 5: We have a way of taking up spade. Yeah. My
- 8:14Speaker 5: name is Lucy, A boy with lucy name. Uh could
- 8:17Speaker 5: they call me Lefty Lucy a boy with Lucy names.
- 8:21Speaker 5: I'm a boy with lucy name. I'm Lefty Lucy. You
- 8:25Speaker 5: may know me as the left side of the spooky
- 8:27Speaker 5: can join twins.
- 8:30Speaker 6: I'm Paul, but girl Paul. I'm a girl Paul. Yes,
- 8:35Speaker 6: I'm the right side of that spooky can join twins.
- 8:39Speaker 5: No, we are not related. And though we are not twins,
- 8:44Speaker 5: that's right, nor we actually can joined. What happened? We
- 8:47Speaker 5: just look a lot of like I will never forget.
- 8:51Speaker 5: I had no career.
- 8:52Speaker 6: I was working out of Micaels and I ran into
- 8:56Speaker 6: I ran into Lucy.
- 8:57Speaker 5: Boy, you came disconnected. No, we're not connected employment.
- 9:03Speaker 4: We're just wearing the same big sweatshirt.
- 9:06Speaker 6: Yes, usually with a wardrobe department is in charge of
- 9:08Speaker 6: putting us together.
- 9:10Speaker 5: That's right. But I was working a job in Michaels.
- 9:13Speaker 6: Had no job, had nothing, no dreams, no nothing.
- 9:16Speaker 5: But I was in debt, so much debt. Then I
- 9:18Speaker 5: met Lucy. I came in. I wanted to work at
- 9:20Speaker 5: the Michaels. I had my resume in my hand and
- 9:23Speaker 5: I went up and looked at that and so I
- 9:24Speaker 5: was like looking into a mirror, except girl.
- 9:26Speaker 6: It was crazy. And immediately I went, how do we
- 9:29Speaker 6: make money from this?
- 9:30Speaker 5: And I said, wait a second, stand to my right,
- 9:33Speaker 5: and then you did. And then everyone in the store
- 9:35Speaker 5: screamed and ran and we.
- 9:36Speaker 6: Said there must be a way, there must be a way,
- 9:40Speaker 6: and lo and behold, we did.
- 9:41Speaker 5: America's Got Talent.
- 9:43Speaker 6: That's right, And that's when we started, and that's when
- 9:45Speaker 6: the world saw us.
- 9:46Speaker 5: We just came out. And so, what was your act
- 9:48Speaker 5: on America's Got Talent? We'll get out. We were there
- 9:53Speaker 5: on stage. You came out looking alike.
- 9:55Speaker 6: Listen, we didn't win the prize, but we did get
- 9:57Speaker 6: noticed by a Hollywood I.
- 9:59Speaker 5: Saw that you got You got Howie's golden buzzer though.
- 10:02Speaker 5: That's right. We took the buzzer and we got it
- 10:06Speaker 5: physically got it.
- 10:07Speaker 4: You still have it.
- 10:08Speaker 5: I still have it. When you press it, CONTI falls
- 10:11Speaker 5: out of the sky. No matter where you are, be careful,
- 10:14Speaker 5: Be careful. Terry Cruz is emotional. It's crazy.
- 10:20Speaker 6: We have I have no acting training or anything, but
- 10:24Speaker 6: either do you guys have any training and acting on it?
- 10:28Speaker 4: You have been.
- 10:29Speaker 1: It's crazy to hear that you've never had in the
- 10:30Speaker 1: acting training because I've seen you in so many films
- 10:33Speaker 1: and projects beyond America's Got Talent. They cast you and
- 10:37Speaker 1: every single Mike flannag and spooky thing.
- 10:40Speaker 5: That's right, you know, I feel bad.
- 10:42Speaker 6: I don't know why twins don't use their twin ship
- 10:44Speaker 6: to make more money, because maybe because they're exhausted by
- 10:47Speaker 6: by now.
- 10:48Speaker 5: But I grew up as an individual, and that's right. Now.
- 10:51Speaker 5: The internet does hate us for taking twin jobs away
- 10:53Speaker 5: from many twins.
- 10:54Speaker 4: I've heard.
- 10:55Speaker 5: I've seen the Reddit forums. Yes, but we don't play twins.
- 10:58Speaker 5: We play can join twins, and those don't count.
- 11:03Speaker 1: I think you're the best parts of all twins. But
- 11:05Speaker 1: you're you're You're not annoying in the way twins are.
- 11:08Speaker 1: You don't have a secret language, you don't finish each
- 11:10Speaker 1: other's sentences.
- 11:11Speaker 4: You're terrible. It's charade.
- 11:13Speaker 5: We can't that's right. We don't know what you're doing.
- 11:15Speaker 6: We're so different, it's crazy. One of us is a Republican,
- 11:18Speaker 6: one of us is a Democrat. You won't know which.
- 11:21Speaker 6: I have a dog and I have a cat.
- 11:23Speaker 4: Okay, Democrat, Republican.
- 11:27Speaker 5: I'm really happy with the world right now. Room anyway.
- 11:32Speaker 1: But honestly, a woman named Lucy, the man named Paul,
- 11:36Speaker 1: I couldn't tell you.
- 11:37Speaker 3: You know, I know what You've got to confuse a
- 11:40Speaker 3: man named Lucy and a woman named Paul.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Oh, a man named Lucy, a woman named Paul. That's right,
- 11:45Speaker 1: that's what's peculiar.
- 11:46Speaker 4: But it's just like that Johnny Cash song. My god,
- 11:49Speaker 4: what is it?
- 11:49Speaker 7: Boy named Patricia, boy named boy named all? That can't
- 11:53Speaker 7: be right anyway.
- 11:56Speaker 5: Look, I know, I know I miffed the Serengeti thing,
- 11:59Speaker 5: But I know what the things? Where where do they live?
- 12:04Speaker 5: The planes?
- 12:05Speaker 4: No?
- 12:06Speaker 5: One more time? Another one? Dry? If you were a gorilla,
- 12:10Speaker 5: where would you live?
- 12:11Speaker 1: Well, I'd live in Tampa Bay.
- 12:17Speaker 5: So can you? Guys? Golf every day of my life.
- 12:20Speaker 5: Golf at the golf.
- 12:21Speaker 1: We got it.
- 12:22Speaker 4: Just because you're a gorilla doesn't mean it doesn't change
- 12:24Speaker 4: my interest.
- 12:25Speaker 5: Ask me where I live. I'll live there as anything.
- 12:28Speaker 5: You know, what's nice to see creature actor joy that's right.
- 12:33Speaker 3: And I will say something that people don't understand about
- 12:35Speaker 3: set actors, the stars of the movies, and even the
- 12:39Speaker 3: side characters of the movies. They get breaks, they get water,
- 12:42Speaker 3: they get whatever they want. Most of the time, we
- 12:45Speaker 3: are either in full costume that takes nine to twelve
- 12:50Speaker 3: hours or in full blue suit that also takes nine
- 12:54Speaker 3: to twelve hours, and we are not treated the same.
- 12:56Speaker 3: We are treated like the creature or the animal that
- 12:59Speaker 3: we're portraying.
- 13:00Speaker 1: This is a great topic here when it comes to
- 13:04Speaker 1: sitting in that chair for six, twelve, fourteen hours. Sometimes,
- 13:08Speaker 1: what are you guys doing occupy the time? Because that, honestly,
- 13:11Speaker 1: it is like being in a hyperbolic chamber or some
- 13:14Speaker 1: sort of sensory deprivation situation. You can't move, You're putting
- 13:17Speaker 1: little knobs on your left and right, touching your eyes,
- 13:21Speaker 1: touching your body.
- 13:23Speaker 5: Everything. Guy, I spoke to a young aspiring creature actor.
- 13:27Speaker 5: Wait did what am I saying? A wait, thanks for
- 13:29Speaker 5: coluding me. Nice of course.
- 13:31Speaker 6: And I was talking to them and they said, what
- 13:34Speaker 6: does it take to be a creature actor? And I said,
- 13:37Speaker 6: you need to be able to sit still and have
- 13:39Speaker 6: a lot of people touch you for a long time.
- 13:41Speaker 5: I don't forget to be a weirdo, a little fuck freak.
- 13:46Speaker 5: Yeah that that. It's crazy how many times people forget.
- 13:50Speaker 1: And that's what's difficult, right, because one of the most
- 13:53Speaker 1: transferable skills of you know, being touched all the time.
- 13:56Speaker 5: Kindergarten teachers. But they're not freaky enough. No, they're not
- 14:00Speaker 5: not even at all at all. There used to be
- 14:03Speaker 5: touched and bugas on.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Well, I guess what I do is I just try
- 14:06Speaker 3: to imagine what life would be like as a gorilla,
- 14:09Speaker 3: try to get into character, because it does take me
- 14:11Speaker 3: about eight hours to actually find the gorilla.
- 14:14Speaker 5: It does? It does?
- 14:15Speaker 4: Did you get into this because you like acting? It
- 14:17Speaker 4: because you like gorilla?
- 14:18Speaker 5: I like gorillas? Okay? And did you do the work
- 14:20Speaker 5: this morning? Because it seems like it's really easy for
- 14:21Speaker 5: you just talk?
- 14:22Speaker 3: So actually, before I came here, I actually did eight work,
- 14:26Speaker 3: eight hours of character work for Gorilla Mountain Gorilla. Where
- 14:29Speaker 3: are you watching gorillas a lot? There's a great documentary
- 14:32Speaker 3: series on screen on screen? And I also go to
- 14:36Speaker 3: the zoo to study some bonobos, which are a gorilla
- 14:40Speaker 3: family cousin. They have one big gorilla in San Diego
- 14:45Speaker 3: and he.
- 14:46Speaker 4: Is a bull.
- 14:47Speaker 5: I mean this guy.
- 14:48Speaker 3: He is onliable.
- 14:51Speaker 5: Okay, okay, So what do you guys do in the chair?
- 14:55Speaker 5: Listen to music?
- 14:56Speaker 7: Idokus I do and math.
- 15:00Speaker 4: I'm very left brained, so I like to start with
- 15:03Speaker 4: my times.
- 15:04Speaker 7: Tables because you you forget them. The great tragedy of
- 15:07Speaker 7: our nation's youth is that you forget your times tables
- 15:10Speaker 7: and the older you get, and it's important to know
- 15:14Speaker 7: to have that in your head. You know, six times seven.
- 15:17Speaker 7: A lot of people it takes them a second before
- 15:19Speaker 7: they say forty two. And I think that's a tragedy.
- 15:22Speaker 4: So I just like to keep sharp.
- 15:23Speaker 5: That's great. Is that what six times seven is? God?
- 15:27Speaker 5: It hopes, it's got it, hope. So let's try some
- 15:31Speaker 5: five times eight. Paul me, Yeah, I can't do math, Okay,
- 15:36Speaker 5: I like to read. Lucy likes math. Okay, okay, Lucy
- 15:42Speaker 5: forty three.
- 15:43Speaker 6: You see you're talking to the right.
- 15:46Speaker 5: I actually know that this is a tragedy.
- 15:50Speaker 6: This is Listen, Paul, and Lucy can be bad at
- 15:55Speaker 6: math and still love math.
- 15:56Speaker 5: That's right, the worst mathematician, but loves it so much.
- 16:00Speaker 5: When we're in the chair, we don't talk to each other.
- 16:03Speaker 5: We don't look at each other. We do not connect.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Besides bodily, can I ask you guys live together? Do
- 16:08Speaker 3: you guys spend much time together? Is it just while
- 16:10Speaker 3: you're working on the.
- 16:11Speaker 5: West side that's right. M hmm. I'm on the west
- 16:14Speaker 5: side of the same city and you're on the right
- 16:16Speaker 5: side of the right that's right. Yeah, we get a
- 16:20Speaker 5: lot of glue. It's mostly just glue on one side.
- 16:26Speaker 5: They kind of let it sit and then right at
- 16:28Speaker 5: the last second stick us together. I love that noise.
- 16:32Speaker 6: Also one thing we do share AirPods. Sometimes you listen
- 16:36Speaker 6: to the left and all listen to the right. And
- 16:38Speaker 6: sometimes we love Ester Parrell.
- 16:41Speaker 4: I love.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Fame, psychologists, psychiatrist, therapists, couples, therapists.
- 16:49Speaker 5: Do you, guys, appie what she says to what you do?
- 16:52Speaker 5: We don't work a lot together. Okay, we're next to
- 16:55Speaker 5: each other, but we're not. I usually I feel like
- 16:58Speaker 5: we're working with the other actors. Yeah, exactly, we're more
- 17:02Speaker 5: of a mirror.
- 17:04Speaker 6: It's such a fool's thought to be, like, let me
- 17:07Speaker 6: run it by my other half.
- 17:08Speaker 5: Right, we're one already.
- 17:10Speaker 1: So O no, Well, it just makes me sad to
- 17:21Speaker 1: think about not working with my coworkers. You know, I was,
- 17:24Speaker 1: I was a centaur one.
- 17:25Speaker 5: You would never call your claw coworker. I'm sorry to
- 17:28Speaker 5: interrupt you, but you would call it a part of you.
- 17:30Speaker 5: I'd call well, I'd call my claw my boss my boss.
- 17:35Speaker 1: My boss has things he wants to do, and I
- 17:37Speaker 1: gotta just let him do it.
- 17:40Speaker 5: That's what i'd call my claw. Do you answer to
- 17:42Speaker 5: your claw on every part of your life?
- 17:44Speaker 1: Every single part of my life. My claw has its
- 17:47Speaker 1: own hinge profile and it goes on more tats than
- 17:51Speaker 1: it is.
- 17:51Speaker 4: I've seen your claw. I've seen your claw. Yeah, well
- 17:55Speaker 4: I had to.
- 17:56Speaker 5: Know it wants me to talk to.
- 17:57Speaker 4: You to know what the clause little sound bite was.
- 18:01Speaker 7: It was something like it was something I feel like
- 18:04Speaker 7: he was trying to quote family guy, but it wasn't
- 18:06Speaker 7: quite right. There's something like, oh Lois, Lois, Stewie it was.
- 18:15Speaker 5: It was it was if you go before you go
- 18:17Speaker 5: out with me? It was actually having here it says
- 18:20Speaker 5: it before you go out with me. You have to know, Stewie.
- 18:23Speaker 3: That was amazing kind of Lewis's voice saying Lewis and Stewie.
- 18:27Speaker 5: Yeah. And you should see when my claw wants to speak,
- 18:29Speaker 5: the things that hits on its hand. What's crazy?
- 18:32Speaker 9: What?
- 18:33Speaker 5: Oh whoa? Oh my god?
- 18:37Speaker 4: Is it going to say something?
- 18:40Speaker 1: Slow that down, Put it on a bluetooth speaker and
- 18:43Speaker 1: blast it into the ocean and you'll hear the answer.
- 18:46Speaker 5: The ocean, the golf, the golf got it? Yeah, absolutely amazing.
- 18:52Speaker 3: Would you guys have a favorite role that you guys
- 18:55Speaker 3: played that really kind of like kind of you could
- 18:57Speaker 3: just get lost in.
- 18:59Speaker 5: Absolutely. We did a The Dark Knights Shining and we
- 19:05Speaker 5: played it was a hybrid of the Dark Knight Batman
- 19:09Speaker 5: and the Shining Scary speaking. So they're just the Batman
- 19:17Speaker 5: mashup series and we were the Twins. We were the
- 19:20Speaker 5: Twins twist this time.
- 19:22Speaker 3: Their legs are one leg, yes, and they different can
- 19:24Speaker 3: join different could join.
- 19:26Speaker 5: With a beat. They have a beat. Well that was
- 19:28Speaker 5: just extra. I need something original in these mashups. It's great.
- 19:32Speaker 5: We stood in the hallway for a long time. Did
- 19:33Speaker 5: you love it? You saw it? I saw.
- 19:35Speaker 1: I had to watch it because it's ttenttionally connected to
- 19:37Speaker 1: my Dark Knight Friends show.
- 19:39Speaker 4: Are any of you else working on Dark Knight matchups
- 19:41Speaker 4: right now?
- 19:42Speaker 5: There's Dark Knight Gorilla. That's a guest. Were gonna between
- 19:47Speaker 5: Nights and Gorillas and I And it's.
- 19:49Speaker 4: Not particular, not the Planet of the Apes.
- 19:53Speaker 3: It's Gorillas. They took the I p of Gorilla and
- 19:56Speaker 3: they're trying to make it clean that they own it.
- 19:59Speaker 5: Oh, of course he wants to own Gorilla. Yeah, it's
- 20:01Speaker 5: just they've been trying to own Grilla. So we actually
- 20:03Speaker 5: have that clip.
- 20:04Speaker 3: Do you guys want to play that clip from The
- 20:06Speaker 3: Dark Knight Shining, where you guys are featured as one
- 20:08Speaker 3: of the It's a real okay.
- 20:13Speaker 4: I swear.
- 20:14Speaker 7: There's a monster at the end of the corridor. It
- 20:18Speaker 7: has two heads. Going crazy, Batman, shut up, I lost
- 20:23Speaker 7: my mind.
- 20:23Speaker 5: Hello there, Hey, hell, I want to play.
- 20:28Speaker 7: No, No, Batman, Look leg, Batman, look, look a look.
- 20:34Speaker 4: At our leg Look they're one leg. I told you
- 20:37Speaker 4: I'm not going insane.
- 20:39Speaker 5: There's a creature at the end.
- 20:41Speaker 7: It has two heads and one leg.
- 20:44Speaker 6: Do you guys ever, do you guys ever feel like
- 20:46Speaker 6: as a creature actor? Sometimes in the script it says,
- 20:48Speaker 6: look at my weird thing.
- 20:50Speaker 5: Yes, was that improvised? It's what's written. I'll do it,
- 20:54Speaker 5: but like, like, do we have to?
- 20:56Speaker 1: I did want to mention I know you guys said
- 20:59Speaker 1: you don't talk to each other, wouldn't even performed the scenes.
- 21:02Speaker 1: It felt a little like you guys were in two
- 21:05Speaker 1: different films.
- 21:07Speaker 5: Okay, well we're not twin.
- 21:09Speaker 3: You guys were stepping on each other sides. It feels
- 21:11Speaker 3: like you guys don't even know this each other when
- 21:14Speaker 3: you're next to each other.
- 21:15Speaker 5: I don't know. I mean ask the director. It went
- 21:17Speaker 5: to publishing, people loved it. They did publish that. They
- 21:19Speaker 5: just published it.
- 21:21Speaker 4: As I've got so many movies are not going to
- 21:26Speaker 4: publish it.
- 21:27Speaker 5: That's why we're so successful.
- 21:29Speaker 6: Because if you hired other can join twins, maybe they
- 21:31Speaker 6: would be in the same genre. We're two different bodies, Okay,
- 21:34Speaker 6: so it's going to give you two different genres.
- 21:36Speaker 5: And how spooky is that?
- 21:38Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 21:38Speaker 4: I guess so very deeply spooky.
- 21:40Speaker 6: In any of our films, all of our clips, you'll
- 21:43Speaker 6: see it's similar to that.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Hey, we have a live show at the Dynasty type
- 21:49Speaker 1: of the theater, this theater on January eighth at seven
- 21:52Speaker 1: thirty pm live am live streams.
- 21:55Speaker 5: Come out.
- 21:58Speaker 4: To Los Angeles.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Please don't spend too much money, but I mean click
- 22:04Speaker 1: on your computer dot com link in the below.
- 22:08Speaker 5: Bye, enjoy the show the rest of it. We don't
- 22:10Speaker 5: know where this is going.
- 22:14Speaker 3: That's actually have another clip right here. This is one
- 22:16Speaker 3: of my favorite clips of your guys.
- 22:18Speaker 5: Oh great, from which uh I think this? I think
- 22:21Speaker 5: this was Dark Knight Seinfeld.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Unfelt Smile edition, Dark Knight Smiles Seinfeld smile.
- 22:30Speaker 5: Who knows when this was made?
- 22:32Speaker 6: Dark Knights Seinfeld smile there is ok and uh play Jerry, Jerry,
- 22:37Speaker 6: I saw this thing.
- 22:38Speaker 5: I saw this thing, Jerry.
- 22:40Speaker 4: What did you say?
- 22:41Speaker 5: I saw this guy smiling at me? Jerry?
- 22:43Speaker 4: You got those guys smiling on the street. Well, that's
- 22:46Speaker 4: not a story about it.
- 22:47Speaker 3: I'd be careful if I were youman, what are you
- 22:50Speaker 3: talking about?
- 22:52Speaker 5: What was this? Hey, I'm gonna gonna get you, Jerry.
- 22:59Speaker 5: See it sound weird? Oh, look at my smile. Damn,
- 23:04Speaker 5: nothing like the Winds. The conjoined twins. You know why.
- 23:09Speaker 4: There's two of them. That's two names. I can't remember.
- 23:12Speaker 5: Hey, so you see him, Jerry, you see him like me? Yeah,
- 23:15Speaker 5: you're gonna be killed too, Jerry, I say him.
- 23:17Speaker 7: But gosh, I can't look at him because I can't
- 23:19Speaker 7: remember their names.
- 23:20Speaker 5: It will be so awkward. I just want to go
- 23:22Speaker 5: to you. This is a hallucination. Okay. So that was
- 23:27Speaker 5: that was really interesting. That was a character.
- 23:29Speaker 4: There was almost ten million things going on.
- 23:32Speaker 3: Yeah, and I will say the conjoint ends weren't played
- 23:36Speaker 3: for scare were just.
- 23:39Speaker 4: Id so they know that part of the job.
- 23:41Speaker 6: Yeah, I'd say that clip's bad because of the there
- 23:45Speaker 6: the original creative.
- 23:46Speaker 5: It's too much. Yeah, the horror comes from the confusion
- 23:48Speaker 5: of the film.
- 23:49Speaker 1: But I was so was your note throw it away
- 23:52Speaker 1: and your note was to be bigger?
- 23:53Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly. It's note was vaudeville. My note was coming
- 23:56Speaker 5: of age film.
- 23:58Speaker 4: Do you have an acting coach who gives you these
- 24:00Speaker 4: notes or.
- 24:01Speaker 5: Is well, we work with an acting teacher who actually
- 24:07Speaker 5: is a pair of conjoint twins. Yes, oh it helps us.
- 24:10Speaker 5: I think it was. It was like white they just
- 24:12Speaker 5: so upset they didn't book it and you did. Sometimes
- 24:16Speaker 5: it comes off that way.
- 24:17Speaker 4: Yeah, there's times.
- 24:18Speaker 5: Where I'm wondering why they're they're upset with me.
- 24:20Speaker 1: But yeah, I will say the future of creature actors
- 24:23Speaker 1: is always in peril.
- 24:25Speaker 5: You know.
- 24:25Speaker 1: They they want somebody that looks freaky to put some
- 24:29Speaker 1: sort of makeup on, but they very rarely find those
- 24:34Speaker 1: people actually acting. And I think it's hard because I
- 24:37Speaker 1: think all of us have lost out roles to some
- 24:40Speaker 1: guy that somebody ran into on the subway.
- 24:42Speaker 5: You know, I wouldn't believe.
- 24:43Speaker 3: How many roles I've lost to a guy who looks
- 24:46Speaker 3: exactly like a gorilla.
- 24:48Speaker 5: Yeah, it's awful.
- 24:49Speaker 3: They think they can take a guy who looks like
- 24:50Speaker 3: a gorilla and teach him how to be a gorilla
- 24:53Speaker 3: rather than taking a guy who can be a gorilla
- 24:55Speaker 3: and make him look like a gorilla, and.
- 24:57Speaker 1: It just.
- 25:08Speaker 5: Are you married? No? No, I'm not. I was gonna
- 25:12Speaker 5: say that must suck.
- 25:14Speaker 3: I'm not married. I'm hoping to do you like. I
- 25:17Speaker 3: hate being so much. I just can't take it. But
- 25:20Speaker 3: I did actually just apply to be the new Bachelor,
- 25:23Speaker 3: the Golden Bachelor they're doing.
- 25:25Speaker 5: What was the application? I sent a video in Oh Please.
- 25:33Speaker 4: Please Golden Bachelor submission video.
- 25:39Speaker 3: Hello, I am sir Gimpy Johnson. I am applying to
- 25:46Speaker 3: be the Golden Bachelor. I know I'm not old just
- 25:50Speaker 3: enough yet, but I'm definitely young enough, not young enough
- 25:53Speaker 3: to be a bachelor, So I would like to do this.
- 25:56Speaker 5: You asked for.
- 25:56Speaker 3: What, I'm interested in it and I like being a gorilla.
- 26:00Speaker 5: The video feels more like just hanging out with him
- 26:02Speaker 5: and talking to him, So I feel like, did you
- 26:04Speaker 5: think it was going to be a lot of gorilla stuff?
- 26:06Speaker 1: Man?
- 26:06Speaker 5: Figure? Yeah, I was trying to be genuine.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Can I just say, you know, if we ask for
- 26:12Speaker 1: a clip, you don't have to show it.
- 26:15Speaker 5: It felt like you guys really wanted it because I.
- 26:19Speaker 4: Really wanted, but I shouldn't creature actors. We all have
- 26:22Speaker 4: veto if we don't want to shame.
- 26:24Speaker 5: I don't want to show a clip I'd say our arsenal.
- 26:26Speaker 6: It was so probably so big, so let's just allow vetos.
- 26:29Speaker 3: Now rewatching it. It was me just looking so vulnerable,
- 26:32Speaker 3: and I was really vulnerable. So I didn't even do
- 26:35Speaker 3: one fun thing gorilla hands.
- 26:38Speaker 5: Struggling to hold Mike, introduce yourself again, which was boring.
- 26:45Speaker 3: I wish I did the gorilla now think you get back.
- 26:47Speaker 3: I probably should have done something.
- 26:49Speaker 5: Okay, it's okay. I don't know. What about your favorite
- 26:52Speaker 5: movies that you guys have worked on?
- 26:54Speaker 2: Gosh, I love I was in the hundred Acre Wood.
- 26:59Speaker 1: I was.
- 27:02Speaker 7: When you know, the Nicole Codman with Nicole Kidman and
- 27:07Speaker 7: Winnie the Pooh, and I played Winnie the Pooh and
- 27:12Speaker 7: it was such a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful movie. I got
- 27:17Speaker 7: to study with Winnie, the actual Winnie the Bear, sexy,
- 27:25Speaker 7: sexy hot, really sexy hot fox.
- 27:28Speaker 9: Yes, oh yeah, you guys, oh yeah, okay, you stop,
- 27:34Speaker 9: my god, because it was like, do you ever have.
- 27:41Speaker 4: You know when the barista makes you a latte?
- 27:43Speaker 7: And the first sip of the lat is always the
- 27:47Speaker 7: best because the ratio is so correct.
- 27:52Speaker 4: That's what making love to Winny the poof felt like.
- 27:55Speaker 5: That's fascinating.
- 27:56Speaker 1: They're a little confused at what.
- 27:59Speaker 7: I see time understand what that is is a baristaff
- 28:06Speaker 7: that getting mad.
- 28:08Speaker 4: The barista is like a cashier for coffee. But don't
- 28:11Speaker 4: call them that they hate it. Don't tell them.
- 28:14Speaker 5: That I also make coffee. To be honest, I also
- 28:18Speaker 5: hate coffee cashier. It's a cashier for coffee.
- 28:21Speaker 6: Does that mean if a coffee wants to get groceries
- 28:24Speaker 6: it goes to that.
- 28:24Speaker 5: That's what I interpreted it as.
- 28:26Speaker 1: No cashier that specializes in coffee and making it not
- 28:29Speaker 1: for the coffee.
- 28:30Speaker 5: See, but a cashier doesn't make the product, they add
- 28:33Speaker 5: it up.
- 28:34Speaker 1: If I could count on one claw the amount of
- 28:36Speaker 1: times I've had this conversation with other creature out, what's
- 28:39Speaker 1: your favorite movie?
- 28:40Speaker 5: A smart use of one claw?
- 28:46Speaker 1: I didn't say, I didn't say I couldn't overlap.
- 28:50Speaker 5: Well, can we actually see a clip of you as
- 28:52Speaker 5: Winnie the Poop and remember you?
- 29:00Speaker 4: Well? You know now I feel all nervous, so maybe
- 29:03Speaker 4: it should be.
- 29:03Speaker 5: Well, it's on the line.
- 29:05Speaker 4: Maybe we'll veto halfway through.
- 29:07Speaker 3: That'll be interesting play right now?
- 29:12Speaker 5: Oh, oh bother, oh father, ye, that was fun. We
- 29:20Speaker 5: can tell each other.
- 29:22Speaker 4: It's almost like the reverse of how he's golden buzzer
- 29:25Speaker 4: and we still have the golden buzzer.
- 29:27Speaker 5: Not that easy.
- 29:29Speaker 4: It's not that easy to play a clip.
- 29:32Speaker 5: I love that they let you find the voice in
- 29:34Speaker 5: the movie they like on the line.
- 29:38Speaker 4: Yes, they kept in. It's great when they keep in.
- 29:41Speaker 7: You know, sometimes you need your your trigger words to
- 29:44Speaker 7: get into the character, to get in, to launch you
- 29:47Speaker 7: in to you know, Piglet would be like a oh
- 29:51Speaker 7: do you and then you do the rest.
- 29:53Speaker 5: You should played Piglet. That was amazing. That was great.
- 29:57Speaker 5: Favorite role.
- 29:58Speaker 1: I got to play the babble duke uh and it
- 30:01Speaker 1: was a wonderful time. It was a great use of
- 30:03Speaker 1: claw because the bab duke duke and he knocks and
- 30:05Speaker 1: the scratches and he does all the things.
- 30:07Speaker 5: So the claw was very claw was practical for hours
- 30:09Speaker 5: and the claw was worn out.
- 30:10Speaker 1: So if my claw doesn't get used enough, it gets
- 30:13Speaker 1: so annoying at night. I have to I have to,
- 30:16Speaker 1: I have to go scratch. Oh, I gotta go take
- 30:18Speaker 1: it out to scratch, and that was your own hat, right,
- 30:21Speaker 1: it was my own hat. And I'm selling those whoa yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 30:25Speaker 1: I'm selling those hats on the Venice boardwalk.
- 30:29Speaker 5: Oh you love the beach.
- 30:30Speaker 4: I love the beach.
- 30:31Speaker 5: I love the beach. When your claw gets worn out,
- 30:33Speaker 5: do you sharpen it up? Yeah? I sharpen it up.
- 30:36Speaker 5: I have a little stone that I use and I
- 30:38Speaker 5: just claw, claw, claw, claw claw. The ones that turn, yeah,
- 30:41Speaker 5: the ones that turn.
- 30:42Speaker 1: But you know what I will say is in these
- 30:43Speaker 1: horror movies, people don't understand how boring it is to
- 30:46Speaker 1: be a creepy guy, you know, because a lot of
- 30:49Speaker 1: it is, oh, pop out, I'm scary. But that means
- 30:52Speaker 1: for about seven to eight hours, I'm standing behind a
- 30:55Speaker 1: door and then you get the shot, Oh jump, scare.
- 30:58Speaker 5: But for me bores. Yes.
- 31:01Speaker 4: Do you ever?
- 31:02Speaker 7: Do you guys ever feel like you've scared yourself in
- 31:06Speaker 7: a scene, because it's so it's the great tragedy of
- 31:09Speaker 7: a creature actor.
- 31:10Speaker 4: You're never able to be scared. Ah, yourself. You're the
- 31:14Speaker 4: only one you can't scare because.
- 31:15Speaker 6: I'll tell you I was spooked out of my head
- 31:19Speaker 6: when we were so tired after a night you.
- 31:22Speaker 5: We forgot to separate.
- 31:23Speaker 6: And I was brushing my teeth at home and I
- 31:26Speaker 6: looked over and I went, Lucy, your hair, I went.
- 31:30Speaker 5: I was asleep the whole time. Didn't realize you guys need.
- 31:33Speaker 4: To communicate more.
- 31:34Speaker 5: You really need.
- 31:35Speaker 4: I think you just need to talk to each other more.
- 31:36Speaker 5: And that all. I think that's where it all crumbles.
- 31:38Speaker 5: If we start talking, you know, that's our sauce.
- 31:40Speaker 1: I would like to hold a filibuster in that hand,
- 31:46Speaker 1: no oilbuster want to talk long enough for it to happen.
- 31:52Speaker 1: I would like to say that nobody can do anything
- 31:55Speaker 1: until Lucy and Paul look at each other and connect.
- 32:00Speaker 5: I would love to see this happen. Uh, I feel
- 32:05Speaker 5: like we're we don't need to do that. I fear
- 32:08Speaker 5: if we did that that some some of the magic
- 32:10Speaker 5: would be gone. Yeah, I'm telling you there might be
- 32:12Speaker 5: more magic there.
- 32:14Speaker 6: There would have to be a clip so profound played
- 32:18Speaker 6: during this podcast to make me want to do that.
- 32:22Speaker 5: That's right, And what kind of clip would I doubt know?
- 32:27Speaker 5: I have a clip that might work. What is it?
- 32:31Speaker 1: Well, it's not of me, It's of Timothy Shallowmay falling
- 32:36Speaker 1: into a man hole.
- 32:37Speaker 5: Okay, that would that would move me?
- 32:40Speaker 1: Okay?
- 32:41Speaker 5: And here it is.
- 32:44Speaker 4: Help Hey Demmy, Hey movie star, Hey Hollie? Would watch
- 32:51Speaker 4: up with that man hole.
- 32:53Speaker 5: Falling into a manhole?
- 32:54Speaker 4: Oh shit, Donnie, Look Timmy challow May fell into a manhole?
- 33:00Speaker 5: Oh ship? Is that the guy from Baby Driver?
- 33:04Speaker 4: No, it's the guy from Goldie.
- 33:06Speaker 5: By your name Ansel Elgort. I'm Timothy Shallower Bell.
- 33:13Speaker 4: So that cliff didn't move.
- 33:15Speaker 5: You have to find something else.
- 33:18Speaker 3: We're gonna need a second random.
- 33:21Speaker 5: Clip clip so powerful. I think I have a clip.
- 33:25Speaker 4: I have a clip.
- 33:26Speaker 5: What is it?
- 33:26Speaker 4: This is a clip of.
- 33:29Speaker 5: So we're just doing movies.
- 33:32Speaker 10: So this is a clip of Barack Obama walking into
- 33:36Speaker 10: a library and asking for the book Harry Potterstone.
- 33:43Speaker 5: Okay, TV footage?
- 33:46Speaker 8: Uh can I get book from looking for a good
- 33:54Speaker 8: book on uh America?
- 33:59Speaker 5: Yeah, we have a lot of mister the Library of Congress. What,
- 34:01Speaker 5: mister president? What what can I get you for president?
- 34:04Speaker 5: You still say, mister president for someone who's former. I
- 34:07Speaker 5: don't like your.
- 34:09Speaker 1: I'm just I'm in the Library of Congress. Okay, this
- 34:12Speaker 1: is my domain. You don't have a job I do. Look,
- 34:15Speaker 1: what do you need on American politics?
- 34:17Speaker 5: Thinking about uh? Get Michelle to run soon.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Okay, well we don't have any of those, but we
- 34:25Speaker 1: do have a Harry Potter this order stone do you want?
- 34:27Speaker 5: That works well enough? Thank you?
- 34:30Speaker 4: All right?
