  Speaker 1: Behind the scenes, Exodus twenty four to thirteen says so

  Speaker 1: Moses and his assistant Joshua set out, and Moses climbed
• 0:16
  Speaker 1: up the mountain of God. Before Joshua ever became the
• 0:20
  Speaker 1: leader of Israel, he was an assistant. Think about that.

  Speaker 1: Joshua would eventually lead an entire nation into the Promised Land,
• 0:28
  Speaker 1: but before he stood in front of the people, he
• 0:30
  Speaker 1: spent years standing beside Moses. He served, he followed, he learned,
• 0:37
  Speaker 1: he watched. He carried responsibility that may not have come
• 0:42
  Speaker 1: with a title or recognition. Joshua had his own gifts,
• 0:47
  Speaker 1: he had his own calling, he had his own destiny.

  Speaker 1: But there was a season when his assignment wasn't to
• 0:53
  Speaker 1: be in front. It was to faithfully serve someone else's vision.

  Speaker 1: And sometimes that's exactly where God has you. You may
• 1:01
  Speaker 1: know there's more on the inside of you, but right
• 1:04
  Speaker 1: now you're helping someone else to build, You're supporting a leader,
• 1:07
  Speaker 1: you're serving your family. You're working behind the scenes. You're
• 1:10
  Speaker 1: doing things that don't always receive recognition or applause, and
• 1:15
  Speaker 1: if you're not careful, you can become frustrated. You may think,
• 1:20
  Speaker 1: why aren't they recognizing me? Why isn't anyone noticing what
• 1:24
  Speaker 1: I bring to the table. Why aren't my ideas being
• 1:28
  Speaker 1: heard when it's going to be my turn? See? But
• 1:34
  Speaker 1: what if this season isn't about being overlooked? What if
• 1:38
  Speaker 1: it's about being prepared. God uses hidden the seasons to
• 1:42
  Speaker 1: develop visible strengths. He watches how you serve when nobody
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: says thank you. He watches how you respond when your
• 1:50
  Speaker 1: idea isn't chosen. He watches whether you'll continue giving your
• 1:54
  Speaker 1: best when someone else gets the credit. See, those moments
• 1:57
  Speaker 1: are developing something in you that talent alone can't produce. Character, humility, patience, discipline,
• 2:05
  Speaker 1: and faithfulness. Don't force a door that God hasn't open,
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: And don't manipulate people to give you an opportunity that
• 2:13
  Speaker 1: God can give you without their permission. See, don't become
• 2:18
  Speaker 1: bitter because someone else is standing where you thought you
• 2:21
  Speaker 1: should be. If God has assigned you to that place
• 2:25
  Speaker 1: for this season, there's a purpose in your position. Your
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: current assignment may be preparing you for the future. Authority
• 2:32
  Speaker 1: Joshua couldn't lead Israel until he had first learned how
• 2:35
  Speaker 1: to serve Moses. And here's the encouragement. Your season of
• 2:39
  Speaker 1: serving doesn't mean you'll always be in the background. There's
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: an appointed time for everything. The same God who saw
• 2:47
  Speaker 1: Joshua was serving in obscurity eventually position him in front
• 2:51
  Speaker 1: of the entire nation. And when your appointed time comes,
• 2:55
  Speaker 1: you won't have to fight to be seen. God knows

  Speaker 1: how to move you from behind the scenes to the

  Speaker 1: place He's prepared for you. So served with joy, work

  Speaker 1: with excellence, keep a good attitude, keep learning, keep growing,

  Speaker 1: keep honoring God. Right where you are. You don't know
• 3:09
  Speaker 1: what God is preparing you for. Your faithfulness today may
• 3:12
  Speaker 1: be the very thing that qualifies you for you are tomorrow.

  Speaker 1: Come on, Jesus, Father, thank you for every season you
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: used to shape us, teach us and prepare us. Help
• 3:23
  Speaker 1: us to serve with humility and excellence. Even when we're
• 3:26
  Speaker 1: not being recognized and celebrated. Keep us from becoming frustrated, jealous,
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: or bitter when someone else receives the opportunity or credit
• 3:35
  Speaker 1: we at hope. For Give us patience, and give us
• 3:38
  Speaker 1: patience to trust your time and and your wisdom to
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: recognize that every assignment has purpose. Help us to be
• 3:45
  Speaker 1: faithful behind the scenes, knowing that you see everything we do.
• 3:49
  Speaker 1: We believe that you're developing our character and preparing us
• 3:52
  Speaker 1: for greater responsibility. And when the appointed time comes, position
• 3:57
  Speaker 1: us exactly where you want us to be. Until then, God,
• 4:00
  Speaker 1: We're going to serve where job. Remain faithful and trust
• 4:03
  Speaker 1: you in Jesus' name. That's your word for today. Take
