- 0:00Speaker 1: It's the Alex Marlowe Show. The Alex Marlowe Show. I'm
- 0:04Speaker 1: glad you're here and I'm very glad it's a Monday,
- 0:06Speaker 1: believe it or not. Did you guys have a good weekend?
- 0:09Speaker 1: I did not have a good weekend. I will tell
- 0:11Speaker 1: you that. I'll tell you why I did not have
- 0:12Speaker 1: a good weekend. First of all, I was actually getting
- 0:15Speaker 1: a little depressed by the news, which is very tough
- 0:17Speaker 1: for me because I live in the news business and
- 0:19Speaker 1: I generally have a pretty thick skin. You have to
- 0:21Speaker 1: be editor-in-chief of Breitbart. You can't be a snowflake. I
- 0:24Speaker 1: think that's part of the maybe job number one or
- 0:27Speaker 1: maybe line number one, the job description. No snowflakes, but
- 0:30Speaker 1: I was getting pretty depressed about some of the stories
- 0:32Speaker 1: that we're seeing, another story at the end of the weekend,
- 0:35Speaker 1: another Texas mother, millennial, white, killing her children. We just,
- 0:40Speaker 1: every day, it feels like another one, another millennial white
- 0:43Speaker 1: killing their children, and then the people rush to their
- 0:46Speaker 1: defense on TikTok, and then there's all these false accusations
- 0:50Speaker 1: and hoaxes that go around, and they just get such
- 0:52Speaker 1: velocity in the apps. I'm talking in particular TikTok, also
- 0:56Speaker 1: Instagram's not much better. I was looking at a story
- 0:59Speaker 1: that says we are all Jane Doe in the Cornell
- 1:02Speaker 1: rape hoax, and I will give you that update. I
- 1:05Speaker 1: have a big update on that coming up. I'll do
- 1:07Speaker 1: that later in the show. 248,000 likes on this post,
- 1:11Speaker 1: and I've seen a lot just like it. So not
- 1:13Speaker 1: just people who are getting the false information and are
- 1:16Speaker 1: consuming the false information, but a quarter of a million people, allegedly,
- 1:20Speaker 1: who knows how many are bots, how many are foreigners,
- 1:22Speaker 1: how many are people who are Just want to disrupt
- 1:24Speaker 1: America's vibe. But people just clicking. Yeah, we're all Jane
- 1:28Speaker 1: Doe now, even though when we get information, so much
- 1:31Speaker 1: information that's come out that's indicated that she's completely altered
- 1:35Speaker 1: her story and that she knew she was a bad,
- 1:37Speaker 1: bad girl. And that's why she is accusing these people
- 1:41Speaker 1: to try to save face because she was bad. She
- 1:43Speaker 1: was naughty, very naughty, very bad. And that's the issue there.
- 1:46Speaker 1: And then I got the most horrific news imaginable, which
- 1:50Speaker 1: is something that happened to me. on yesterday, which is
- 1:52Speaker 1: my beloved 14-year-old doggy, Chip, passed away. And I want
- 1:56Speaker 1: to tell you the story of Chip because I find
- 1:58Speaker 1: him to be inspiring, and I find it to be
- 2:01Speaker 1: a beautiful thing, even though it's so simple. But he
- 2:04Speaker 1: was a rescue dog, and I've always joked about how
- 2:07Speaker 1: he was actually rescued from the loving family that would
- 2:09Speaker 1: have adopted him the following weekend. But we rescued him
- 2:12Speaker 1: in 2012, which was the year that my wife and
- 2:14Speaker 1: I got married. It was also the year that she
- 2:16Speaker 1: got into medical school, and we would move to Washington, D.C.
- 2:20Speaker 1: the year after. And it was very good for us.
- 2:22Speaker 1: It was a great, exciting time in our life. And
- 2:25Speaker 1: he was also kind of a test for Mrs.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Dr.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Marlowe that she just brought him home. And we'd just
- 2:29Speaker 1: been married and she brought him home and said, this
- 2:31Speaker 1: is our dog now. And I looked at him and
- 2:33Speaker 1: I went, okay, not so sure about that. But I
- 2:36Speaker 1: know I'm getting quiz here that I need to accept
- 2:39Speaker 1: this dog. And so we'd gotten a designer dog in
- 2:42Speaker 1: the past, a purebred beagle, who is my beloved Jobin,
- 2:45Speaker 1: just the greatest dog. And we're kind of used to
- 2:47Speaker 1: getting dogs like that. We also got a purebred German Shepherd.
- 2:51Speaker 1: But this dog was, I would describe him charitably as
- 2:55Speaker 1: ugly hot. It's kind of like the Daniel Craig vibe
- 2:58Speaker 1: from James Bond. Is it hot? He was cute, but
- 3:04Speaker 1: cute in like an ugly cute sort of way. You
- 3:06Speaker 1: have to kind of stare at him. And then it
- 3:07Speaker 1: dawns on you, oh, yeah, he is cute. But that
- 3:10Speaker 1: was the type of look that was just so endearing.
- 3:13Speaker 1: And you just fall in love with him. And he
- 3:14Speaker 1: was a true survivor. And he came with us. On
- 3:16Speaker 1: two cross-country moves, we had other pets involved. He was
- 3:20Speaker 1: with us with our four babies, all of them being born,
- 3:22Speaker 1: and he was so lovely to the babies. And it
- 3:26Speaker 1: was one of these things where he was totally deteriorating
- 3:28Speaker 1: to the point where I started to get the smaller
- 3:31Speaker 1: bags of dog food, thinking, well, why am I getting
- 3:33Speaker 1: the huge bag? Because he was maybe 14 pounds. He
- 3:35Speaker 1: was a terrier-chihuahua mix, so a tiny little guy, and
- 3:39Speaker 1: maybe 14 pounds, soaking wet. And so I was getting
- 3:43Speaker 1: like the five pound dog food bags. And I was thinking,
- 3:45Speaker 1: this dog is just going to live forever. And then
- 3:48Speaker 1: recently I went up and I bumped it up and
- 3:50Speaker 1: I got the 14 pound dog, the 28 pound bag
- 3:53Speaker 1: of dog food. And he made it through almost the
- 3:56Speaker 1: entire bag. I got to say, there's a few crumbs
- 3:59Speaker 1: at the bottom, but he was just the easiest boy.
- 4:01Speaker 1: And even when he passed away yesterday, he died while
- 4:06Speaker 1: the whole family was around. And I got to hold
- 4:09Speaker 1: him one last time and I got to bring the
- 4:11Speaker 1: children around to say goodbye to him. And I actually–
- 4:14Speaker 1: even better, I got to remove him from the house
- 4:16Speaker 1: and I was driving him towards the vet. He actually
- 4:18Speaker 1: passed away in my arms on the way to the vet.
- 4:21Speaker 1: And it was one of these things where it's such
- 4:23Speaker 1: a beautiful little story about God and how he shines
- 4:28Speaker 1: light on us in these very small little ways. And
- 4:31Speaker 1: he's just a beautiful little dog, and I'm devastated to
- 4:33Speaker 1: see him go. But I just find it to be
- 4:36Speaker 1: so amazing that this little creature who should not have–
- 4:42Speaker 1: appeared to be an accident. I don't even know how
- 4:44Speaker 1: he found his way into my life. But he did so,
- 4:48Speaker 1: and then every step of the way, he was just
- 4:50Speaker 1: a true comfort. And the fact that he even died–
- 4:54Speaker 1: naturally surrounded by people who love him is very inspirational
- 4:57Speaker 1: because that is not the norm, the animal kingdom. You
- 5:00Speaker 1: guys might know this, that most animals don't get to
- 5:02Speaker 1: go in that way. And the fact that he did it,
- 5:05Speaker 1: it was, he was so courteous. He didn't even really
- 5:07Speaker 1: interrupt the day. Like the day we kind of went
- 5:09Speaker 1: about our business afterwards, everyone was crying their eyes out,
- 5:12Speaker 1: but then everyone was able to, we went to grandmother's house.
- 5:14Speaker 1: We had a dinner reservation. We made that like, it
- 5:16Speaker 1: was a, we got stuff done. He was that courteous
- 5:18Speaker 1: and that sweet and that perfect never caused a single problem.
- 5:21Speaker 1: He even, uh, he, So I'm going to withhold the story.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Maybe I'll share a different time. I'm going long on this.
- 5:29Speaker 1: But I just love this boy, and I wanted to
- 5:30Speaker 1: honor him on the show, and the show is now
- 5:32Speaker 1: in dedication to Chip, my beloved Mutt. People say when
- 5:35Speaker 1: people reach out to me, they always like personal stories.
- 5:37Speaker 1: This is a personal one, and I just think it's
- 5:39Speaker 1: a beautiful, tiny little story about a little dog who
- 5:42Speaker 1: really just provided so much joy and comfort in a
- 5:45Speaker 1: tumultuous time of my life. So RIP, Chipland Ronald Mutt.
- 5:49Speaker 1: All right, big news from over the weekend that is positive, again,
- 5:52Speaker 1: is the Brazil elections. Flavio Bolsonaro finishing first over Lula
- 5:56Speaker 1: da Silva, who is a drunk and a radical and
- 6:00Speaker 1: very old and loves Obama and hates Trump and hates America.
- 6:04Speaker 1: And Bolsonaro is someone who is very pro-America and ran
- 6:10Speaker 1: on a pro-America platform. And so he did not get
- 6:13Speaker 1: enough votes to avoid a runoff against Lula. So there's
- 6:15Speaker 1: going to be another month of this conversation. But the
- 6:18Speaker 1: minor candidates are now out, and none of them got
- 6:20Speaker 1: more than 3% of the vote, and most of the
- 6:22Speaker 1: minor candidates were right-leaning. So he's favored to win in
- 6:26Speaker 1: the runoff, so that's a positive. And he ran on a–
- 6:30Speaker 1: he's running ahead of his father, Bolsonaro, who was a–
- 6:37Speaker 1: the president, I think, for two terms at least, and
- 6:39Speaker 1: almost got assassinated and survived and was able to govern.
- 6:43Speaker 1: And so this is a very cool thing that's happening,
- 6:46Speaker 1: even though in America we don't tend to do dynastic
- 6:49Speaker 1: stuff until recently. We're starting to do that, but we
- 6:52Speaker 1: tend to reject that stuff. But something that's happening in
- 6:55Speaker 1: this family is there's either four or five Bolsonaros that
- 6:58Speaker 1: are elected right now. So this will be the fifth
- 7:00Speaker 1: or sixth Bolsonaro. And they're all very pro-Trump. They love America.
- 7:03Speaker 1: They love Donald Trump. They love MAGA. And he's actually
- 7:07Speaker 1: improving upon his father's vote total, which is very interesting
- 7:11Speaker 1: because the left is on a huge losing streak in
- 7:13Speaker 1: Latin America. A lot of people are pointing this out
- 7:15Speaker 1: as connected to the USAID where the Obama and Biden
- 7:19Speaker 1: governments funneling money into Latin America leftist groups. I do
- 7:23Speaker 1: think that that could be a factor. I don't know
- 7:24Speaker 1: for sure. Is it correlation or causation? I don't know.
- 7:28Speaker 1: But it is noteworthy that we cut off all this
- 7:31Speaker 1: aid that was going overseas or going, I guess you
- 7:33Speaker 1: could theoretically not go overseas, but going to South and
- 7:36Speaker 1: Latin America in order to try to prop up various
- 7:40Speaker 1: NGOs and it ended up just getting funneled into left-wing
- 7:43Speaker 1: political culture there. So it's a big thing. So Bolsonaro,
- 7:47Speaker 1: he's a family man. He is someone who had been
- 7:51Speaker 1: accused of corruption and sexual deviancy, but he's actually a prude.
- 7:56Speaker 1: So people acting like he was some sort of a
- 7:58Speaker 1: party animal probably helped them. So really bad campaigning from Lula.
- 8:01Speaker 1: And Lula, who is a lunatic, tried to run as
- 8:03Speaker 1: an evangelical. I think that fell on deaf ears. And
- 8:07Speaker 1: he is– they try to argue that Lula, who's a
- 8:12Speaker 1: convicted felon, was– that is another strong point here. But
- 8:16Speaker 1: just remember that Obama loved Lula and the Bolsonaros loved Trump,
- 8:21Speaker 1: and that is a cool thing. And this goes now–
- 8:23Speaker 1: here is the run in terms of Latin America since 2024.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Colombia has now had a left-of-center President Luz. Peru, Chile, Bolivia,
- 8:35Speaker 1: Costa Rica– Ecuador and Honduras. And it is not a
- 8:39Speaker 1: coincidence that Marco Rubio and Donald Trump, their State Department,
- 8:42Speaker 1: has focused on trying to make our hemisphere, focus on
- 8:45Speaker 1: our hemisphere, not fall into the China sphere, which is
- 8:48Speaker 1: the intention of BRICS and all these other entities to
- 8:51Speaker 1: try to get China to have more influence in South America.
- 8:54Speaker 1: We have fought back and we are convincing people. And
- 8:57Speaker 1: I think this is very heartening. And perhaps could it
- 9:00Speaker 1: be a sign of things to come the same way
- 9:01Speaker 1: Brexit was a sign of things to come in 2016?
- 9:04Speaker 1: Could this be a sign of things to come for us?
- 9:06Speaker 1: In this midterm election, I don't know, but it is
- 9:09Speaker 1: certainly good news to balance out some of all that
- 9:11Speaker 1: horrible news. So one thing, though, with so much uncertainty
- 9:14Speaker 1: right now, when there is a storm brewing on the seas,
- 9:17Speaker 1: these smart captains have already locked into safe harbor. They've
- 9:20Speaker 1: tucked in, protecting themselves. And that's what we got to
- 9:23Speaker 1: be doing right now because we don't know what's ahead
- 9:25Speaker 1: of us. And we don't. There's so much confusion right now.
- 9:27Speaker 1: And that goes for your savings. There are some rough
- 9:30Speaker 1: seas ahead. And the national debt, as you know, is
- 9:32Speaker 1: clipped $ 40 trillion. There's talks of rate hikes. They're probably coming.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Global tensions are always very fraught, and then we've all
- 9:40Speaker 1: had these tariff war conversations. And so one thing to
- 9:43Speaker 1: do in this time is physical gold and silver, which
- 9:45Speaker 1: has been battle-tested for centuries. So Monetary Gold is my
- 9:49Speaker 1: partner in the gold space. They are fantastic. They provide
- 9:51Speaker 1: you lots of information, and they also help you shield
- 9:54Speaker 1: your wealth with tax-sheltered IRAs, and they have over 25

- 10:02Speaker 1: you need. They don't give you pressure. They just want
- 10:05Speaker 1: to assist you in either making direct purchases of precious
- 10:08Speaker 1: metals like gold or help you roll over your existing
- 10:11Speaker 1: IRA or 401ks into those with precious metals. It's a
- 10:14Speaker 1: great way to protect your wealth. It's the ultimate hedge.

- 10:20Speaker 1: Who answers America's call for more energy? People do. Chevron
- 10:41Speaker 1: is helping fuel national energy security. Their U.S. production has
- 10:45Speaker 1: increased by nearly 60% in the past three years. And
- 10:48Speaker 1: with plans to invest over $ 10 billion in U.S. energy
- 10:51Speaker 1: projects in 2026, they're helping boost economies, create better jobs,
- 10:56Speaker 1: and build an America powered by America's own energy. Learn
- 11:00Speaker 1: more about what Chevron's people do at Chevron.com slash America.
- 11:05Speaker 1: When I got the news or when the news got out,
- 11:08Speaker 1: that my little puppy Chip had passed away, then the
- 11:12Speaker 1: first call I got, this is going to blow your guys' mind,
- 11:14Speaker 1: it was Christy Noem. And she said, why don't you
- 11:16Speaker 1: let me come over? Take care of that for you.
- 11:19Speaker 1: And I said, Christy, that's very dark. Don't say that.
- 11:21Speaker 1: That's not true. She did not call. She did not
- 11:23Speaker 1: call and do that. But she did apparently on her
- 11:25Speaker 1: last day as Homeland Security Secretary, bought five airplanes, where
- 11:29Speaker 1: DHS did, from a firm with a man who had
- 11:32Speaker 1: donated to her PAC in 2024 at a big markup. So,
- 11:37Speaker 1: I don't know. Is Washington just not attracting good people anymore?
- 11:41Speaker 1: Is that over? And remember her husband with the very
- 11:44Speaker 1: oblong fake breasts that he would wear? Very odd fetish.
- 11:47Speaker 1: It's a weird people in this country. I got to say,
- 11:49Speaker 1: I love Americans. I always have, but it's a sort
- 11:51Speaker 1: of doubt in certain ways. I saw a viral post
- 11:55Speaker 1: online of a woman holding up a sign at a
- 11:58Speaker 1: protest over the weekend and I'm going to read this
- 12:01Speaker 1: to you. Second pregnancy, first baby, abortion was my choice.
- 12:06Speaker 1: One day it might be her choice too. So she's
- 12:08Speaker 1: holding up her picture of her daughter or she's holding
- 12:11Speaker 1: up her daughter. So basically the suggestion is I killed
- 12:16Speaker 1: one of her siblings. And then when she grows up,
- 12:19Speaker 1: I want her to have the right to kill my grandchildren.
- 12:22Speaker 1: And I just, I don't get how people are wired
- 12:24Speaker 1: this way. We have a culture of death is encroaching
- 12:27Speaker 1: into our society and And we need to straighten ourselves
- 12:30Speaker 1: out here because if we don't start fighting for life
- 12:34Speaker 1: and truth, then we're going to have a– it's going
- 12:36Speaker 1: to be a tough road in the coming future in
- 12:39Speaker 1: this country. But one of the things that's happening a
- 12:41Speaker 1: lot is the lying, the dishonesty coming from one political
- 12:45Speaker 1: side of the aisle as they feel like they're going
- 12:47Speaker 1: to have a chance to win an election so long
- 12:49Speaker 1: as Americans stay as uninformed as possible. And one of
- 12:54Speaker 1: the things that we saw over the weekend was the
- 12:58Speaker 1: Cornell rape hoax starting to fall apart, but people are
- 13:02Speaker 1: still lying about it. This is AOC from a few
- 13:05Speaker 1: days ago. Play cut 11, please, guys.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Men drugged and gang raped a 20-year-old woman. They lured
- 13:18Speaker 2: her in to a fraternity house. They drugged her with ketamine.
- 13:23Speaker 2: They then posted to a group chat that she was
- 13:26Speaker 2: incapacitated and seven men took turns gang raping her for
- 13:32Speaker 2: seven hours.
- 13:35Speaker 1: It's not true. She admitted that she had volunteered for
- 13:38Speaker 1: a lot of this. This is just something that is,
- 13:42Speaker 1: this is from a statement that she had made I
- 13:48Speaker 1: had become extremely uncomfortable with how the night was turning out.
- 13:52Speaker 1: So my thought was, if I do ketamine again, maybe
- 13:54Speaker 1: I will pass out. My thought was, if I passed
- 13:57Speaker 1: out and these men had sex with me, then they
- 13:59Speaker 1: could be charged with rape. So she was starting to
- 14:03Speaker 1: regret it. And then she amped up her own dosage
- 14:06Speaker 1: voluntarily to try to start formulating a victim narrative. And
- 14:10Speaker 1: then afterwards, we have all the tests suggesting that she
- 14:13Speaker 1: wanted to have the experience again with a couple of
- 14:16Speaker 1: the men. She wanted to repeat it, and that fraternity
- 14:20Speaker 1: asked her not to attend their Halloween party, but she
- 14:22Speaker 1: wanted to attend. Is that the story AOC just told,
- 14:26Speaker 1: or is she weaving some sort of a fake web?
- 14:29Speaker 1: And that's why we get this stuff online where a
- 14:30Speaker 1: quarter of a million people are responding to something that's bogus.
- 14:35Speaker 1: If you start going through actually what happened, and you
- 14:38Speaker 1: go into some granularity, that a lot of the men
- 14:41Speaker 1: who were involved didn't actually have any contact with her
- 14:44Speaker 1: at all. They're still gross. I mean, everyone's gross who's involved.
- 14:48Speaker 1: And the one person who apparently sent the disgusting text
- 14:52Speaker 1: that I won't read on the air that suggested that
- 14:55Speaker 1: it was game on with this girl and anyone who
- 14:58Speaker 1: wanted to show up would be able to get involved,
- 15:01Speaker 1: which is repulsive and disgusting, all that stuff. And a
- 15:03Speaker 1: lot of you know what I'm talking about. If not,
- 15:05Speaker 1: you're going to have to look it up on your own. Apparently,
- 15:07Speaker 1: it was a brother who did that. So I'm wondering
- 15:10Speaker 1: if this person who appears to be a black person
- 15:15Speaker 1: who sent the horrific text, I wonder if he's going
- 15:18Speaker 1: to get any support from the infrastructure that does protect
- 15:23Speaker 1: black people from criminal accusations. I wonder if they're going
- 15:27Speaker 1: to step in because they're trying to smear him even
- 15:29Speaker 1: though he may have been invited. So all this is
- 15:33Speaker 1: just so gross. I had a post that kind of
- 15:34Speaker 1: went viral. over the weekend where I was talking about
- 15:38Speaker 1: how can men grant consent if they're intoxicated? And this
- 15:43Speaker 1: is the question that we have just backed ourselves in
- 15:45Speaker 1: this corner where we have to keep discussing things that
- 15:49Speaker 1: we shouldn't necessarily have to keep discussing. Shouldn't it just
- 15:52Speaker 1: be all these people are gross? Cornell actually expelled most
- 15:55Speaker 1: of these people anyway. And it seems like we now
- 15:58Speaker 1: have a culture at these universities where everyone is just so,
- 16:03Speaker 1: so wasting everyone's time and money. This is what their
- 16:09Speaker 1: universities have become. Our universities have become a place where
- 16:11Speaker 1: people go to waste time and money. They don't go
- 16:14Speaker 1: to learn any values. They go there to behave very
- 16:17Speaker 1: badly and to entertain themselves on their parents' dime before
- 16:20Speaker 1: they enter the real world. And are we doing that
- 16:23Speaker 1: much better? Are we doing that much better in the
- 16:25Speaker 1: real world where we feel like we can waste four
- 16:27Speaker 1: years of our prime doing this type of behavior and
- 16:31Speaker 1: then point the finger at everyone involved? Think about the
- 16:35Speaker 1: nature of how left-wing Cornell University is. And this is
- 16:39Speaker 1: what goes on on their campus. There are no good
- 16:41Speaker 1: people involved here. We'll be right back with more. Don't
- 16:42Speaker 1: miss one of the most powerful documentaries of the year.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Can You Hear Me Now? featuring Charlie Kirk. Stream it
- 16:48Speaker 1: now exclusively on salemnow.com. Speaking of Charlie, I had a
- 17:01Speaker 1: nice conversation with Andrew Colvett, who's the producer of The
- 17:04Speaker 1: Charlie Kirk Show and now the host of the show,
- 17:06Speaker 1: who's a close friend of mine. And I asked him
- 17:08Speaker 1: how his weekend was, and he said he's been off
- 17:09Speaker 1: the grid for four days, ATVing with his children. And
- 17:12Speaker 1: I said, oh, cool, same as me. I've been on
- 17:14Speaker 1: the computer reading about a bunch of rapes and death,
- 17:17Speaker 1: and then also my dog died. So pretty similar weekend
- 17:20Speaker 1: that we had. He had no cell phone access. I
- 17:24Speaker 1: was like, oh, my goodness. I am jealous of that.
- 17:27Speaker 1: ABC had a tweet recently. that came out about the
- 17:31Speaker 1: Cornell rape hoax, a state mandated survey of undergraduate students
- 17:36Speaker 1: at Cornell revealed that more than one third of undergraduate
- 17:39Speaker 1: women said they'd experienced sexual assault during their time at
- 17:43Speaker 1: the Ivy league university. So one third of women at
- 17:46Speaker 1: Cornell said that they've experienced sexual assault at the Ivy
- 17:49Speaker 1: league university. Let me tell you the conclusions of this.
- 17:52Speaker 1: If this is true, then why on earth would I
- 17:55Speaker 1: send my daughters to Cornell university? I have two. So
- 17:59Speaker 1: I have a vested interest here and they're going to
- 18:01Speaker 1: be smart and they're going to be educated. So why
- 18:04Speaker 1: would I send them there? If you paid me a
- 18:06Speaker 1: hundred grand a year, there can be a hundred grand
- 18:08Speaker 1: a year a piece. So they have a one in
- 18:09Speaker 1: three chance getting sexually assaulted. Or perhaps there is a
- 18:14Speaker 1: rape hoax pandemic that's going on epidemic. And maybe all
- 18:20Speaker 1: of these women are falsely accusing men. So why would
- 18:22Speaker 1: I pay for tab? My two sons go to Cornell.
- 18:26Speaker 1: They're going to be educated. They're going to want to
- 18:28Speaker 1: go to college. I hope they don't, but they're going
- 18:30Speaker 1: to want to. My youngest son is already talking about
- 18:33Speaker 1: college for some reason. I think maybe it's the sports thing,
- 18:36Speaker 1: but he's interested in going to college. I'm sorry, son.
- 18:39Speaker 1: You're not going to be able to go. If there's
- 18:40Speaker 1: a one in three chance, you're going to get accused
- 18:42Speaker 1: of sexual assault. So it is a complete cesspool or universities.
- 18:48Speaker 1: And why don't people see a headline like this and go, whoa,
- 18:52Speaker 1: hold the phone here. We got to do something. Because
- 18:55Speaker 1: if it is true, it is horrible. And if it
- 18:57Speaker 1: is false, it is horrible. They're both horrible for different reasons.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Do we have that cut, guys, of the, not cut,
- 19:04Speaker 1: but do we have that image of the New York Magazine,
- 19:07Speaker 1: the cut article? Can we put that on the screen
- 19:10Speaker 1: if we have it? There's an article over the weekend
- 19:12Speaker 1: from New York Magazine. What are fathers telling their sons
- 19:16Speaker 1: about Cornell? And if you guys see the image here,
- 19:18Speaker 1: and you guys are missing out, we try to have
- 19:20Speaker 1: visual components to the show. And it's the, I will
- 19:23Speaker 1: describe it. but is a father holding two sons. Here
- 19:27Speaker 1: is the trick here. The sons look like they're about
- 19:30Speaker 1: three and four. What are fathers telling their sons about
- 19:34Speaker 1: Cornell and New York magazine chooses to make the images
- 19:38Speaker 1: on the screen, a three-year-old and a four-year-old as if
- 19:43Speaker 1: you would be explaining, not even sex, but rape to
- 19:47Speaker 1: a three and four-year-old. So, I have a six and
- 19:50Speaker 1: eight-year-old son. And let me tell you the extent of
- 19:53Speaker 1: the conversation we're going to be having about Cornell. That's it.
- 19:57Speaker 1: That's the extent of it. Absolute zero. Nor would I
- 20:01Speaker 1: talk to them about that until they were of age
- 20:03Speaker 1: where they were actually aware of this news story. It
- 20:08Speaker 1: is so horrific what our media continues to do. They
- 20:11Speaker 1: keep continue to create heroes that are not heroes and
- 20:15Speaker 1: victims out of people who are not victims. It is
- 20:18Speaker 1: tried and true. It is how they get their job done.
- 20:20Speaker 1: And now it is not just the establishment media. It
- 20:22Speaker 1: is these apps, the social media apps, particularly TikTok that
- 20:26Speaker 1: elevates this type of false divisive content and makes it
- 20:29Speaker 1: the top thing that people see trending. It creates a,
- 20:33Speaker 1: it guides the culture. It is not just reacting to
- 20:36Speaker 1: the culture. It is leading the culture. We need to
- 20:38Speaker 1: be very aware of it. One of those popular stories
- 20:40Speaker 1: over the weekend at Breitbart was this image of Jack Smith,
- 20:44Speaker 1: the Jack Smith, deranged Jack Smith, as Trump calls him,
- 20:47Speaker 1: at a concert. I think it was a Bruce Springsteen concert.
- 20:50Speaker 1: It says, because it says Springsteen, he's got a shirt
- 20:52Speaker 1: that says Springsteen on it. And I'm leaning into the
- 20:54Speaker 1: screen so I can read this. It says, land of hope,
- 20:57Speaker 1: something dreams. And it says Springsteen on it. He's holding
- 21:00Speaker 1: a beer. And it says, no kings. It says, no kings.
- 21:04Speaker 1: So he's got a no king shirt on. This is
- 21:06Speaker 1: a guy who tried to interfere in our elections by
- 21:09Speaker 1: coordinating with the Joe Biden White House to engage in
- 21:12Speaker 1: a blatantly political prosecution of Donald Trump, which was completely
- 21:16Speaker 1: unconstitutional and illegal. As I wrote about in Breaking the Law,
- 21:20Speaker 1: and this is very important, I actually heard this echoed
- 21:23Speaker 1: on a very popular podcast. They didn't cite me, so
- 21:25Speaker 1: I won't cite them back, but I heard this on
- 21:27Speaker 1: a podcast that I do listen to and I really like,
- 21:30Speaker 1: but pointing out a point that I made in Breaking
- 21:32Speaker 1: the Law, which is very important. that on November 18th,
- 21:35Speaker 1: it was right around the time, this is when Jack
- 21:38Speaker 1: Smith was appointed special counsel by Merrick Garland's DOJ on
- 21:43Speaker 1: November 18th. At the same time, Nathan Wade, who's Fonny Wills' boyfriend,
- 21:48Speaker 1: who's working on the Georgia case against Trump, was at
- 21:51Speaker 1: the White House for eight hours. And this is right
- 21:54Speaker 1: around the same time, a guy named Matthew Colangelo, who
- 21:57Speaker 1: is the number three at the DOJ and Biden's DOJ,
- 21:59Speaker 1: went down to Alvin Bragg's court in New York took
- 22:04Speaker 1: a huge demotion to prosecute Donald Trump. All these happened
- 22:07Speaker 1: at the exact same moment. It was right after the
- 22:09Speaker 1: midterm elections and right in the run-up to right when
- 22:14Speaker 1: 2024 campaigning was about to start. This is when, so
- 22:18Speaker 1: it's 2022, November, a couple of weeks after the election,
- 22:21Speaker 1: Donald Trump's a candidate now, and they're all diving in
- 22:24Speaker 1: to try to prosecute him to make sure that he
- 22:26Speaker 1: cannot be president. This is the story of Jack Smith.
- 22:30Speaker 1: And yet, unfortunately, we got this stuff over the last
- 22:32Speaker 1: week We're like, did he go to a Hawkeyes game
- 22:34Speaker 1: or a Hawks game? And it was all bad info
- 22:36Speaker 1: and all distraction. The fact that this guy engaged in
- 22:39Speaker 1: a blatantly political prosecution of the past president and, and
- 22:43Speaker 1: current presidential candidate. And it was all illegal to travesty.
- 22:48Speaker 1: He's not been held to account. And then you can
- 22:49Speaker 1: walk around drinking beers, wear no King shirts. Justice is
- 22:53Speaker 1: supposed to be blind. It's supposed to be apolitical. And
- 22:55Speaker 1: we get a guy whose wife made a documentary about
- 22:58Speaker 1: Michelle Obama, also covered in breaking the law. Guys, I
- 23:01Speaker 1: don't write these things for my health. I don't write them.
- 23:04Speaker 1: In fact, it is not healthy. My health generally gets
- 23:07Speaker 1: worse when I write these books. So I recommend you
- 23:10Speaker 1: catch them. All right. Switching gears, we're trying to frame
- 23:14Speaker 1: up the election here. I want to check in on
- 23:17Speaker 1: how some of the candidates are doing because a lot
- 23:20Speaker 1: of the polls continue to be pretty bleak. Some of
- 23:22Speaker 1: them more positive. I'm seeing some positive stuff out of
- 23:25Speaker 1: places like New Hampshire, Minnesota, Michelle Tafoya's race. There's some
- 23:29Speaker 1: good stuff, but then I'm trying to get a sense
- 23:31Speaker 1: of what are the vibes versus what are the polls
- 23:33Speaker 1: because a lot of Democrats are very excited about polls
- 23:37Speaker 1: in Texas. But I'll tell you, a lot of some
- 23:39Speaker 1: Republicans are excited about polls in California. Now, do I
- 23:41Speaker 1: think Steve Hilton is going to win? I don't. I
- 23:44Speaker 1: hope he does. I'm going to enthusiastically vote for him
- 23:46Speaker 1: and make sure that I get everyone I know to
- 23:47Speaker 1: go vote for him. But the thing is, is that
- 23:50Speaker 1: if he's close, it certainly suggests there's going to be
- 23:52Speaker 1: some sort of a blue wave. So and you look
- 23:54Speaker 1: at stuff like Texas and you think, could Texas win?
- 23:57Speaker 1: conceivably vote for a guy named james talrico who is
- 24:01Speaker 1: super slimy and uh had a vegan campaign in a
- 24:04Speaker 1: guy who doesn't like barbecue or oil even though it's
- 24:08Speaker 1: an oil state it just it doesn't seem to make
- 24:10Speaker 1: sense but then you see stuff like hispanics overwhelmingly shifting
- 24:15Speaker 1: away from trump who they voted for in 2024 and
- 24:18Speaker 1: away from the gop and you got to think about
- 24:21Speaker 1: cost of living and we got to be delicate on
- 24:23Speaker 1: this because it's a real thing as cost of living
- 24:25Speaker 1: has gotten more expensive at a slower rate than it
- 24:27Speaker 1: did under Biden, but it's gotten more expensive. But there's
- 24:31Speaker 1: so many good things happening in our economy, and we've
- 24:33Speaker 1: got to tell this story. The labor market is near
- 24:36Speaker 1: full employment. Growth has held up in a major way.
- 24:39Speaker 1: We actually saw Q3 GDP get revised up. Equities are high.
- 24:44Speaker 1: S & P 500 is super high. Oil prices have
- 24:47Speaker 1: been actually pretty resilient given the Iran war. People thought
- 24:51Speaker 1: we could see oil at $ 200 a barrel. Instead, it
- 24:54Speaker 1: is now under $ 90, I think. And it could even
- 24:57Speaker 1: go lower because we're seeing so much commerce through the
- 24:59Speaker 1: Strait of Hormuz, thanks to Operation Economic Fury, which has
- 25:02Speaker 1: been successful. So manufacturing, we're in a manufacturing boom right
- 25:06Speaker 1: now in this country. It's booming right now. And I
- 25:10Speaker 1: think there's some of this, I will say the caveat,
- 25:12Speaker 1: some of this is because the AI economy, which a
- 25:14Speaker 1: lot of people are suspicious could be a bubble. And
- 25:16Speaker 1: a lot of people don't like AI. They don't like
- 25:18Speaker 1: the idea of so much of our wealth is tied
- 25:20Speaker 1: into these tech giants. But overall, there's a lot to
- 25:23Speaker 1: support that America is actually doing well and spending is
- 25:26Speaker 1: very high. And we're going up against a bunch of
- 25:30Speaker 1: sick freaks, which is another point that we have to
- 25:32Speaker 1: keep reminding people. Abdul El-Said's sister-in-law appeared on a terrorist
- 25:37Speaker 1: watch list court filings indicate, according to the Federalist. This
- 25:40Speaker 1: came out just this morning. So do we really think
- 25:44Speaker 1: Americans are going to go and vote for these people?
- 25:48Speaker 1: To connect a couple stories, I want to play, this is,
- 25:52Speaker 1: let me make sure I got the right clip. This
- 25:53Speaker 1: is a woman named Michelle Cottle And she works at
- 25:57Speaker 1: the New York Times where she covers national politics and Washington.
- 26:02Speaker 1: And she was on MSNOW, formerly known as MSNBC, talking
- 26:06Speaker 1: about Cornell. This story has, you got to hear this
- 26:08Speaker 1: to believe it. Cut 18, please, guys.
- 26:10Speaker 3: It's a fundamental disrespect for women. You can't send those messages,
- 26:15Speaker 3: no matter how drunk you are as a frat boy,
- 26:17Speaker 3: without having some kind of misunderstanding about what women are
- 26:21Speaker 3: there for and whether this is a real person you're
- 26:24Speaker 3: dealing with. And that, I think, starts, you know, we
- 26:27Speaker 3: can go to the president for this one. I mean,
- 26:29Speaker 3: we are in a moment in this culture where the
- 26:31Speaker 3: glorification of being thuggish and swaggering and mistreating women is
- 26:37Speaker 3: kind of making you a cool kid.
- 26:39Speaker 1: All right, making you a cool kid. All right, can
- 26:41Speaker 1: we look up guys in the booth? Could you confirm
- 26:44Speaker 1: for me when the Cornell rape hoax allegedly took place? Okay,
- 26:50Speaker 1: it was 2024. Who was the president in 2024? Ladies
- 26:53Speaker 1: and gentlemen, it was big Joey the Biden. So maybe
- 26:58Speaker 1: it's Joe Biden's fault. Maybe we should blame Biden. If
- 27:01Speaker 1: we're going to blame the president, we may as well
- 27:04Speaker 1: blame Joe Biden because he was the guy who was
- 27:07Speaker 1: in charge at that time. And this goes on and,
- 27:10Speaker 1: you know, it takes the internet to fact check it.
- 27:12Speaker 1: But how many people hear this and think maybe that's true? Yeah,
- 27:14Speaker 1: maybe it's really Trump's fault. Trump's really the guy who's the, the, uh,
- 27:18Speaker 1: Cornell rape hoax is all because of Trump. It's just remarkable.
- 27:23Speaker 1: This is a New York times person who gets promoted
- 27:26Speaker 1: on MS. Now, can we get the word out about
- 27:29Speaker 1: these people? Can we get the word out about these people? Um,
- 27:34Speaker 1: I've got a cut of let's play. Let's play. This
- 27:38Speaker 1: is Texas State Senator Angela Paxton. This is really important
- 27:43Speaker 1: because this is Ken Paxton's estranged wife. And I want
- 27:46Speaker 1: to play this cut. This is so important. Cut 16, please.
- 27:50Speaker 4: I'm Texas Senator Angela Paxton. People have asked my thoughts
- 27:54Speaker 4: about this election, and it turns out I have some.
- 27:57Speaker 4: Let's talk about the elephant in the room. In a
- 27:59Speaker 4: general election, it's not as much about the individual players
- 28:02Speaker 4: on the team. It's about getting the whole team across
- 28:05Speaker 4: the finish line. Either we hold every Republican seat or
- 28:09Speaker 4: we hand the future of Texas to the other team.
- 28:12Speaker 4: That's why I'm voting for the Republican ticket on November 3rd.
- 28:16Speaker 4: Let's hold the line together.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Texas PAC is responsible for the content of this advertising.
- 28:21Speaker 1: This is a huge dunk on Karl Rove in particular
- 28:25Speaker 1: because Karl Rove was out there basically campaigning against Republicans
- 28:29Speaker 1: because he probably didn't get all the contracts he wanted.
- 28:31Speaker 1: And people give Karl Rove a platform, the ultimate bushy
- 28:34Speaker 1: establishmentarian who has tried to sabotage the Republicans during this
- 28:37Speaker 1: election cycle. And he's going out there and acting like–
- 28:40Speaker 1: because Ken Paxton is not a perfect candidate, and he's not.
- 28:43Speaker 1: He is not a perfect candidate. But he's acting as
- 28:46Speaker 1: though Texas might be a lost cause or maybe he's
- 28:49Speaker 1: even going to withhold votes from Republicans. He said he
- 28:51Speaker 1: was going to withhold votes from at least one Republican.
- 28:53Speaker 1: I think it was the guy who tweeted the picture
- 28:55Speaker 1: of the Indians at the– the Indian kids at the
- 28:57Speaker 1: Texas football game. Which was not a tactful move. I
- 29:00Speaker 1: don't endorse that. But we're going to let James Tallarico
- 29:03Speaker 1: and the Democrats and people who are obsessed with trans
- 29:06Speaker 1: and who in a candid moment can name their favorite
- 29:09Speaker 1: trans drag queen who's trying to trans the kids. We
- 29:13Speaker 1: want those people in charge. Even Ken Paxton's estranged wife
- 29:17Speaker 1: doesn't feel that way. And you got the Karl Rove's
- 29:19Speaker 1: of the world. Licking their chops, just waiting for Republicans
- 29:22Speaker 1: to have a bad election cycle so that they can
- 29:24Speaker 1: maybe get some more business in 2028, maybe move the
- 29:27Speaker 1: party away from Donald Trump's MAGA version to the old
- 29:30Speaker 1: Bushy version that was so weak and lame and feckless.
- 29:36Speaker 1: All right, something that's not weak and lame, something that'll
- 29:38Speaker 1: make you stronger is red light therapy. And I've been
- 29:41Speaker 1: using this Convenience SunPower LED device on my back and
- 29:44Speaker 1: my knee, and it's helped. I had a great workout today,
- 29:47Speaker 1: and I really do attribute a lot of that to
- 29:49Speaker 1: my red light therapy that I do. It helps me
- 29:52Speaker 1: recuperate quickly near infrared light and red light into my
- 29:55Speaker 1: cells where I have inflammation and And it reduces that inflammation,
- 29:58Speaker 1: allows me to recover faster, and I think is a
- 30:00Speaker 1: huge edge that I have. But it's not just for that.
- 30:03Speaker 1: You can use it for arthritis, muscle aches, joint pain.
- 30:05Speaker 1: It's got a patent-pended cooling system so the light can
- 30:07Speaker 1: stay close to your skin. It makes it a lot
- 30:09Speaker 1: better than its competitors. It's even got a transcranial PBM helmet,
- 30:13Speaker 1: which can help you with sleep issues, Parkinson's, migraines. You
- 30:17Speaker 1: owe it to yourself to try this because they've got
- 30:19Speaker 1: the zero-interest financing. You use code MARLOW, you get 10% off.
- 30:23Speaker 1: This could be exactly what you need, and it does
- 30:25Speaker 1: not involve doctor visits. It does not involve getting hooked
- 30:27Speaker 1: on pills. SunpowerLED.com. SunpowerLED.com. Code Marlowe for 10% off. Again,
- 30:34Speaker 1: you get the zero interest financing. SunpowerLED.com. Give it a
- 30:37Speaker 1: try for yourself. My team is Greg Ebbin, Sean McConnell,
- 30:47Speaker 1: Roger Wicker Jr., Rick Locke, Matt Zibble. Ricky Lopez, Misty Callahan,
- 30:51Speaker 1: John Cascio, and Daniel West. They all deserve credit. Thus,
- 30:53Speaker 1: I give them the credit that they deserve. The question is,
- 30:57Speaker 1: can we frame up this closing argument? People are voting.
- 31:00Speaker 1: It's 29 days, I think, until the election, and people
- 31:02Speaker 1: are voting right now. Election day is today. Do we
- 31:06Speaker 1: want to empower people who have as their priority things
- 31:09Speaker 1: like a trans bill of rights? This is the sort
- 31:12Speaker 1: of thing that is being discussed today. on the Democrat side.
- 31:16Speaker 1: This is DSA-er Claire Valdez talking to Hakeem Jeffries. Cut seven, please, guys.
- 31:23Speaker 5: You know, in my conversation recently, I wanted to emphasize
- 31:25Speaker 5: how important certain issues were in my district and that
- 31:28Speaker 5: were defining parts of my race. And that includes the war.
- 31:32Speaker 5: It includes the genocide, Medicare for All, Trans Bill of Rights. Like,
- 31:35Speaker 5: there are a lot of things that, you know, I
- 31:38Speaker 5: ran on that I want to deliver for my district.
- 31:41Speaker 5: And I think it's our responsibility to do exactly that.
- 31:43Speaker 1: What was the reaction?
- 31:45Speaker 5: It was a very cordial conversation, and we'll have more conversations.
- 31:52Speaker 1: So there you go. So the Jews are doing a genocide,
- 31:54Speaker 1: and we're going to have a trans bill of rights.
- 31:56Speaker 1: That's what these people are all about. Peggy Flanagan, who
- 31:59Speaker 1: is in this race in Minnesota against my old colleague
- 32:02Speaker 1: Michelle Tafoya, had a ad on what her priorities are.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Cut 13, please, gentlemen.
- 32:08Speaker 6: Have you seen this? Since last July, 1.2 million children
- 32:12Speaker 6: have lost SNAP benefits. When I was growing up, my
- 32:15Speaker 6: single mom worked hard, but she couldn't always make ends
- 32:18Speaker 6: meet without a little help. SNAP, which we called food stamps,
- 32:21Speaker 6: kept food on the table and in my belly. But
- 32:24Speaker 6: now the Trump administration.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Is gutting programs. Here's the point of this ad. You've
- 32:28Speaker 1: got to pause the screen. You guys are missing it.
- 32:30Speaker 1: It's the visuals. It's not the points about SNAP, and
- 32:33Speaker 1: we don't want all poor people to go hungry, even
- 32:35Speaker 1: though SNAP is totally abused, and we can break down
- 32:37Speaker 1: how we need to fix it. But she is dressed
- 32:39Speaker 1: like comedian Paula Poundstone. Some of you guys know the reference.
- 32:42Speaker 1: I know in this radio audience, she's got the Paula
- 32:45Speaker 1: Poundstone thing. And this reminded me of one of the
- 32:48Speaker 1: most embarrassing moments of my life. And I'll share it
- 32:51Speaker 1: on the show. This was back in the days when
- 32:54Speaker 1: we were in the basement of Andrew Breitbart's house. And
- 32:57Speaker 1: we were starting the company and things were kicking off.
- 32:59Speaker 1: We only had a few employees. I was the first
- 33:01Speaker 1: employee of Breitbart News. And so we were in Andrew's basement.
- 33:04Speaker 1: And I remember one time we were in our basement office.
- 33:07Speaker 1: that I was looking up Paula Poundstone for a reference.
- 33:11Speaker 1: I was going to make a joke and I wanted
- 33:12Speaker 1: a Paula Poundstone punchline. And so I was looking up
- 33:16Speaker 1: like Googling, whatever it was, Paula Poundstone. And I remember
- 33:19Speaker 1: some of the other guys on the team, including this
- 33:21Speaker 1: top media executive who is down in Andrew Breitbart's home
- 33:25Speaker 1: office in the basement. They all came around to my
- 33:27Speaker 1: computer to check something out. And I pulled up my
- 33:30Speaker 1: screen and it was all Paula Poundstone content. And I
- 33:34Speaker 1: have never been so humiliated in my life. It was
- 33:37Speaker 1: one of these things where I didn't even try to
- 33:38Speaker 1: bother explaining myself because I thought there's no way they're
- 33:40Speaker 1: going to buy that I was trying to use this
- 33:42Speaker 1: to make a joke. They're going to think I'm a
- 33:44Speaker 1: big Poundstone fan. And I've still, to this day, it
- 33:47Speaker 1: haunts me. I cringe just thinking about that moment. But
- 33:51Speaker 1: now I share it with you on the air as
- 33:53Speaker 1: talk radio content. But that's the main point, is that
- 33:55Speaker 1: is Paul Poundstone really going to beat the lovely Michelle Tafoya,
- 33:58Speaker 1: who is not a radical in Minnesota, where there's all
- 34:00Speaker 1: this corruption? I sure hope not. Those of you who
- 34:03Speaker 1: don't know the reference, you are truly missing out because
- 34:05Speaker 1: you need to see Paula Poundstone's sartorial choices if you
- 34:08Speaker 1: want to understand what's going on in this planet. Okay,
- 34:12Speaker 1: looking at California also as a major test kitchen for
- 34:17Speaker 1: the left's worst ideas. I was driving around yesterday and
- 34:20Speaker 1: just every single store seems to be boarded up now.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Even Joe Biden's famous Jenny's ice cream in Beverly Hills
- 34:27Speaker 1: has gone out of business. A Starbucks that I've been
- 34:29Speaker 1: going to for over 25 years. In the Beverly Glen Center,
- 34:33Speaker 1: some of you will know the reference, in LA, shut down.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Just unbelievable. I mentioned last week how my favorite barbecue
- 34:41Speaker 1: place in Ventura Boulevard shut down. It's just so many
- 34:44Speaker 1: storefronts just completely knocked out. And they don't get it.
- 34:47Speaker 1: They don't get what the problem is. Here's cut 20.
- 34:50Speaker 1: This is Nitya Raman, who could be the mayor here
- 34:53Speaker 1: coming up.
- 34:55Speaker 7: We tried to increase our tourist tax, which would be
- 34:58Speaker 7: a tax that's charged to people who are staying in hotels.
- 35:01Speaker 7: Even that failed. And to me, that is a sign
- 35:04Speaker 7: of real public distrust in the capacity of the city
- 35:07Speaker 7: to do right by their tax dollars. In downtown LA,
- 35:11Speaker 7: what we're seeing is 35, 40% vacancy rates from a
- 35:15Speaker 7: neighborhood where we actually generated a lot of our tax
- 35:19Speaker 7: revenues in the past. What would it look like to
- 35:21Speaker 7: actually make sure that we were inviting businesses back into
- 35:25Speaker 7: Los Angeles?
- 35:27Speaker 1: Well, they're not doing a very good job. In fact,
- 35:29Speaker 1: they're pandering towards these street vendors who are probably illegal.
- 35:33Speaker 1: And so then they're saying they feel your pain and
- 35:35Speaker 1: doing nothing to fix it. LA imposed a mansion tax.
- 35:39Speaker 1: And New York Post or the California Post has a
- 35:41Speaker 1: big story in this today and their paper over the weekend.
- 35:44Speaker 1: They had a mansion tax where they were trying to
- 35:48Speaker 1: impose a higher tax rate on homes that are worth
- 35:50Speaker 1: a certain amount of money that are worth $ 5 million
- 35:52Speaker 1: or something like that. But the problem is, it's not
- 35:55Speaker 1: just single-family homes. These are homes that are actually sometimes
- 36:01Speaker 1: multifamily homes. These are things that could be office buildings.
- 36:04Speaker 1: They're just expensive real estate. And so what ended up
- 36:06Speaker 1: happening is all these businesses left. They all went away
- 36:09Speaker 1: because they can't pay the exorbitant taxes, and it's backfired.
- 36:12Speaker 1: It's hurting the exact people that are trying to help
- 36:14Speaker 1: the poor. That's today's show. Go in peace, love, and
- 36:16Speaker 1: serve the Lord. See you tomorrow.
