  Speaker 1: to Rideshare Revival. I picked up Ashley from the doctor's

  Speaker 1: office today and she got in my car carrying some

  Speaker 1: pretty exciting news with her. She's having a boy. Ashley

  Speaker 1: already has two daughters and today she just found out
• 0:21
  Speaker 1: a little boy would be joining the family. So naturally,
• 0:25
  Speaker 1: we have plenty to talk about. We talked about her
• 0:28
  Speaker 1: husband and what it means to him. To have his boy,
• 0:31
  Speaker 1: her girls, their family, and this new life that was
• 0:36
  Speaker 1: getting ready to change all of them. Good stuff. Happy stuff. And,
• 0:41
  Speaker 1: of course, eventually I asked her about church. Are you
• 0:44
  Speaker 1: getting those kids in church, I said. She says, oh, yeah.

  Speaker 1: I said, good. Give them that foundation. Teach them what
• 0:50
  Speaker 1: Jesus is all about while they're young. Give them something
• 0:54
  Speaker 1: to build on as they grow. Give them a foundation.

  Speaker 1: Because at some point they're going to stray a little bit.

  Speaker 1: And we gravitate back to what's normal. And that foundation
• 1:04
  Speaker 1: is huge. Then I reached down and I grabbed one
• 1:07
  Speaker 1: of my little mini Jesus figures and I handed it
• 1:10
  Speaker 1: to Ashley. I said, here, keep this. It's a little
• 1:12
  Speaker 1: reminder of the day you found out you were having
• 1:16
  Speaker 1: a boy. She loved it. Before we got out of
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: the car, I said, there was something else we need
• 1:21
  Speaker 1: to do. Give me your hand. I said, okay, if
• 1:24
  Speaker 1: we pray. She said, yes. And I prayed for Ashley.

  Speaker 1: For her health throughout the pregnancy. for the baby's health,
• 1:32
  Speaker 1: for her husband, and for those two big sisters. For
• 1:36
  Speaker 1: the entire family is prepared to welcome this little boy
• 1:40
  Speaker 1: into the world. As I prayed, I felt something. There
• 1:43
  Speaker 1: was just an anointing on that baby. And I don't
• 1:47
  Speaker 1: know what God has planned for this little boy. I
• 1:50
  Speaker 1: don't know who he'll become. I don't know what God
• 1:53
  Speaker 1: may someday ask him to do. But standing, or I
• 1:56
  Speaker 1: guess sitting there in my car, I felt like God
• 2:00
  Speaker 1: had his hand on him. So I prayed into that too,
• 2:03
  Speaker 1: that God would protect him, guide him, use him, and
• 2:08
  Speaker 1: that this little boy would grow up knowing just how
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: deeply he is loved. And when we finished, Ashley was crying.
• 2:16
  Speaker 1: And these weren't tears of hurt. These weren't tears of fear.

  Speaker 1: These were wonderful tears, tears of joy. She had a
• 2:25
  Speaker 1: huge smile on her face as she got out of
• 2:27
  Speaker 1: the car. Somewhere down the road, maybe she'll find that
• 2:30
  Speaker 1: little mini Jesus tucked away somewhere, and she'll remember the
• 2:35
  Speaker 1: doctor's appointment. Maybe this Uber ride, the prayer, and the
• 2:41
  Speaker 1: day she found out. It's a boy. Rideshare Revival. There's
• 2:47
  Speaker 1: hope at every turn. These are my prayers from the road.
