Hello, and welcome to Soul Elevation: Guiding Your Ascension to New Heights. I'm your host, Kara Goodwin. I'm so excited to be here with you on Friday, September 28th, 2026. Today we're gonna talk about reality shifts, and this is something that has been on my mind because I experienced a, a very real reality shift a couple of weeks ago. I'm gonna share that with you today, as well as a previous reality shift that blew my mind as well. Um, so I'll share my own personal experiences, but before we get to that, we're gonna talk about what reality shifts are. What do I even mean by reality shifts? And then I want us to also talk about the bigger picture of what, what are they telling us? What
• 1:00
are they telling us about what's really happening in this reality? And how do they help us to understand the potential, the possibilities in the future? Because that is also very important in the times that we're in as we are experiencing things that might feel like they're very destructive and, and that it might feel like we're getting to a tipping point where we, um, you know, maybe we feel like we can't get back once we get to a certain point. So I, I'm excited to talk about all of those things today. Now, um, if you're watching live or even the recording, please do comment, like, subscribe. All of those things really help with the, the
• 2:00
content, with this message, with these messages in this podcast getting g- getting out, spreading further. And that's really important for the times that we're in, that we, that we have more access to more content that is uplifting and that is helping us to not get stuck into fear. That's ... Fear is its own form of magic, but it's not helpful for us. So the more we can recognize and support content that is helping us to expand beyond that, the more accessible that becomes. And from a very practical perspective, the more we tell the algorithm what, you know, what we want. What do you want to be served up to you, and what do you want to be served up for others? So thank you very much for that. Um, now reality shifts are ... I've had a couple of conversations on the podcast with a, a
• 3:00
remarkable woman named Cynthia Sue Larson. And Cynthia is a, she's spent time as a scientist at the Stanford Research Institute. This is a very, very smart woman, and she has turned her attention to consciousness over many years, the study of consciousness, and that has taken her into the realms of reality shifts and the Mandela Effect and how these Not only witnessing and collecting stories from others about glitches that they've experienced in the real- in their reality, but her own. She's got a remarkable ... She's got volumous stories of her own very practical experiences of life was like this, reality was like this, the physical world was like this, and then one day it was totally different. And there wa- there
• 4:00
is no logical way for that to have happened. So one example from Cynthia's story, 'cause she has a book, I think her book is called Reality Shifts. She's got another on the Mandela Effect. She's got multiple books that she's authored that are collections of stories like this. And so one that just comes to mind as I'm talking about this, excuse me, is, um, she was looking at her neighbor's house from inside her own house, and she noticed that they suddenly, all of a sudden they had these rain gutter type of, some sort of, like, technology around their rain gutter. They had covers over the rain gutter or something. And this was something that you have installed, and it takes workers, it's a noisy process, and she had been home, and she'd never seen these gutter covers before. She'd been home and would have seen somebody installing them, would have heard it. It would have drawn attention. And suddenly
• 5:00
they were there, but they'd never been there before. And if I'm remembering correctly with this story, then after a period of time, they were gone again, I think. I can't remember if that specific story was one where it was there and then it was... or it wasn't there, then it was there, then it wasn't there. Or if it was just that they suddenly had it and there physically was not enough time to account for them having them installed. She knows that they didn't have it installed. It was just that all of a sudden that's where that ha- that happened. Um, I have, uh, you may have heard me talk about a friend of mine who was my mentor for a while, um, Michael Massey. I write about him in my book, Your Authentic Awakening, and a lot of the unusual experiences that we both had together. Um, but one of the things before I knew him, when he was living in Sedona, uh, which he is again now, but, um, he talks about how there was this one restaurant or diner,
• 6:00
and it was just on the main drag there. And it was called ET, I'm, I, I don't know if I'm gonna get the ter- the business names exactly correct, but, uh, it was called ET Encounter. And then it changed, and it was called, I'm again making this up kind of, but, like, Blue Planet. And He noticed that change, and he was like, "Oh, that used to be called ET Encounters, and now it's called Blue Planet." And then a certain amount of time later, it went back to ET Encounters, like a few days later or a few weeks later, I can't remember. But, like, he passed it all the time. There was no construction that was switching it from one thing to another. It just was, it was this shift in reality. And this is what these reality shifts are. They're sudden shifts where something is different, and there's not enough
• 7:00
physical time to account for why something just changed like that. And I had this happen with me very recently. I was with somebo- and, and, and what's interesting is that I was with somebody at this time who is a very rationally minded person, not into the stuff that you hear me talk about on my channel. Probably never sees my content. Um, I'd be shocked if they were. This, they're just not into it. But a wonderful person who I enjoy being with. And we were ... We had parked in a parking garage, and we were both pretty sure that where we parked was the first door. Like, we were up, our car was up a couple of levels, but we were pretty sure that we hadn't passed any other doors on the way down when we were exiting the parking garage. And when we were going back to the
• 8:00
car, we were in a bit of a hurry for a number of reasons, and this person, again, this person is observant. This is ... I'm not talking about some, like, space cadet who you're always tr- you know, trying to wrangle in, like rein them in. Like, this is a very practically minded person, very intelligent. And I was leading, so we go up the same stairs that we had taken to get down a few hours before, and we both agree that we're looking for the first door. So we can't remember if we have to go up one set of stairs or two set of stairs, but we n- we are pretty sure it's on the first, at the first door. So we go up one flight of stairs, and there's no door there. So we turn and we keep going up the second flight of stairs, and there's no door there either. So we go up another flight of stairs, and I'm thinking to myself, I don't ... It, it's weird to me that they would have three flights of
• 9:00
stairs before there's any opportunity to get into the garage. But, you know, I'm just noticing that, and I didn't design the garage, so I'm just kinda trusting that that is how it is. So we, we exit the first door that we get to, and my car's not there And there aren't that many cars in this garage, so we're like, it was easy to see. Like, okay, well we parked, like, in the middle, and th- this is not the right floor. So we get back, we go back through the door, we go up another flight of stairs because there's no doors below where we are. So we're like, "Well, we must've, we must have passed a door on the way down that we didn't pay attention to." And so we go up another flight of stairs, come out the door, and again, not very many cars around. It's easy to see my car's not there. But we decide to walk a little further. So we're like, "Well, maybe we're..." 'Cause, you know, I think there were, like, four different rows
• 10:00
in the parking garage, and so we had only looked at the first couple and we're like, "Well, maybe we parked..." Like, I had remembered I went the wrong way, actually, on purpose. I went where it says "Do not enter" because there weren't that many cars there, and it was like, it'll be easier to get out. So I knew that I didn't park in the third row because that was the right way. It was a one-way system. But I thought, "Well, I don't know. I can't explain, like, where my car went," and I wasn't ready to accept that my car was gone. And as... So we kind of walk further along, and my, and my friend looks down through the parking garage because it was kinda a little bit open in the middle so you could see down. And they go, "Well, there's your car down there. It's two floors down." And I'm like, "Well, how will we get to it?" Because there was no door there. And they were like, "Yeah, there wasn't a door. I don't understand how there wasn't a door there."
• 11:00
And so we're like, "Well, I guess we'll go see if we overlooked something." So we go down two flights of stairs. So we go one flight down where we know there's a door, 'cause we'd already been through that door, and we're both thinking, "There's no door below us." Um, but we didn't know. We were just kind of trying to figure it out as we went. So we go down the second flight of stairs, and there's a door there And so it's easy to listen to this story and be like, "Well, you missed the door the first time." But we were looking for a door, and the person that I'm with, again, like, we were in a hurry and I was leading, but this is not the type of person that would just be polite and be like, "Well, if she's so confident that the door, you know, that this isn't the right door..." I mean, there's a chance they wouldn't have said anything, but then when we were going, when I'm going, "But there
• 12:00
wasn't a door two doors, floors down," they would've been like, "Yes, there was. You just kept going, so I thought you knew where you were going." We'd talked about it on the way to the parking garage that we were the first door. If I had just blown past that door without noticing it, but this person saw the door, they would've said like, "I think your car is here. Do you wanna go here?" This is just how this person is. Like, they're not a sheep, you know? They're just... Like, they would've corrected me. And then when we're like, "Wait, the car is two floors down," and we were both like, "There was no door there." And again, we were looking for a door. It's not like we got to the fourth floor and then we were like, "Oh, we should've been looking for a door," but because we weren't looking for it we didn't see it. That can happen. But the door wasn't there, and so that was just real... We were both like, "How is there a door here now?" Um,
• 13:00
so that was just a very, like... Yeah, the door was there when we left because we know we, we had a door to get out, uh, you know, a few hours before. And when we were coming up, there was no door there. Um, and then when we went back down, there was a door there. So that's an example of a reality shift. And again, when you're not there, it can maybe be easy to be like, "You just didn't see the door." I, I totally get that. Like, we look for the rational explanation. And so it's like, well, obviously the door had to be there because nobody went and created a door in those moments, so you are mistaken. That's a very rational way to look at this, and I completely understand it, but I can tell you from being in that situation, there was not a door there. And again, we were looking for a door, so, um- But this is the thing with reality shifts and glitches
• 14:00
where things change and there's no rational explanation for them. And I have another example of this. And what's funny about this is I remember telling this very same person who I had this door experience with, I told them when this happened with my cat a couple of years ago... This might have been three or four years ago now, I'm not sure. But, um, I told them about it and they totally did not believe me. Like, they... I could tell them about this again and they would just be like, "Yeah, sure. Okay, whatever." This is just how they are, and they're not mean. They're not, like... They're, they're a really excellent, awesome human being. They just don't believe this stuff even though they experienced this with me. Um, but this, this other one I remember telling them, and they were just like, "Okay. Yeah, sure. This was, you know, not you just not paying attention type of thing."
• 15:00
So In this experience, I was, um, at home, and I have two cats, and my cats go in and out throughout the day, and we don't have a cat flap, so we ha- I... Like, somebody has to let them out and let them back in. And this particular day, it was morning time, and I was sitting at the table by the door, and I had let the, let the cat out. I think I... The detail, all the details are a little fuzzy except for, like, the, the ultimate outcome. But my cat went out. I think my dog was also out. And when my dog came in, my cat was hesitating. Like, she wanted to come in, but she didn't. She wanted to be in and out at the same time. Any cat lovers out there will recognize this very common trait in cats. Um, and so I'm standing there with the door open, and I'm starting to get impatient. And I'm
• 16:00
like, "Come in," because once she comes in, then I will move from my spot at the table, because the table was close to the door. So I was just kind of waiting for the pets to, like, be done. And, um, once everybody was in and they were ready to get settled, then I would go to a different room where I could get settled. But because I knew I was in this transition period where I was letting them in and out, um, I was still in the, the, at the kitchen table. So I'm saying to the cat, I'm like, "Come on, come on." And I know that she, she decided to stay. Like, I remember seeing her turn away from me with her tail up and her kind of going in the other direction. And so I close the door, and I sit back down at the table because I know it's just a matter of time until she's gonna want in again. And so the next thing I know, I don't remember how much time
• 17:00
passed, but it, maybe it was, like, three minutes. It wasn't, like, a really long time. But, um- The next thing I know, I look over to my left and there is that very same cat that was outside. Suddenly she was inside, and I had not gotten up to let her back in. I know that the last time I had gotten up, because it wasn't a really long period of time, that she did not come in, and th- hence why I was still sitting at the kitchen table. And the next thing I know, she's not outside anymore, she's inside. And so again, I can tell you this story, and if... It's very subjective. Like, nobody else was there with me, and, you know, it's, it might be easy to say, like, "Well, you just, you were spacing out," or, "You were thinking about something else." But I know my habits and I know how I work, and if I had let her in, I wouldn't still be sitting at the
• 18:00
table. And I distinctly remember her turning away and not coming in. So those are a couple of experiences that I've had that were very real, tangible, um, things were this way, and then physically they're something that should be very black and white. Like, your cat's either inside or outside. And if you're 1000% sure they're outside, and then all of a sudden they're inside, and you know that there's nobody else that could've let them in, they... You don't have a way for them to get in without a human letting them in. You're the only one home, and you know you didn't let them in, and yet there they are. So very black and white. There's a door that wasn't there, suddenly it's there. Um, so these are some examples of reality shifts. And like I say, Cynthia Sue Larson, if this is a topic that's
• 19:00
interested... I- interesting to you, she's written a couple of books on them that are very well worth, uh, the read. Um, and these also... I mean, think about what miracles are. What are miracles? These are also examples of reality glitches, of reality shifts, where somebody can have a devastating illness or injury that medical professionals say that there's really no coming back from, and they make a complete recovery. There are lots of stories of that. Maybe sometimes there is some sort of modality that's attributed to that, whether there's some energy that gets changed by somebody who knows how to work with energy, or if it's, um, some type of e- event where they're visited by something supernatural, or it can
• 20:00
be a million different things, but the regular course of how that i- illness or injury runs has a very specific devastating outcome, and then suddenly this person is healed, and not only are they healed, but it's like overnight, where this is not just like they got a little bit better at a time. It just happens. Like, that is also... We think of those as miracles, and I know that you have heard miracles if you... if... maybe you've even experienced them. Um, and this is how, you know, this is another way to look at it, are these reality shifts. Like, sometimes these shifts are not as, like, severe... Not severe, that's the wrong word. But not as intense. Like, they feel intense, but they're... they don't have such a critical outcome as something like a, a mir- a miraculous healing. But this can also come about with, um, a- again, not so physical,
• 21:00
but it can come about where maybe there is something that you've really wanted. Like, let's say you've had this, um, this issue with a person that you just, it... no matter how many times you apologize or no matter what you do to... that you're trying to get them to see things differently or to let go of something that you did that is keeping you guys from being able to be okay with each other anymore, and you've kind of run out of ideas. You know, you've apologized, you've whatever And you've begged, you've... And, and there's just no, nothing. They, they, they're not going to accept it, and it's... You just feel like, "Okay, I've done everything I can do, and I guess we're not gonna be able to reconcile." And then all of the sudden,
• 22:00
it, they're behaving like nothing happened, or they completely understand things in a new way, and it kind of happens overnight. And it's not to do with anything that you've necessarily done. Um, but they just have this change of heart. So that can be another way that we experience this. And again, it's not so, doesn't feel so black and white of, like, I saw this with my own eyes, and then... You know? Like, so it might be easier to explain away, but these are reality shifts, where it just really seems like there's only one path, and that's the only way that this is gonna happen. And then all of a sudden, things just shift to a different path, and you're like, "How did that happen all of the sudden?" Um, so what I like, why I wanted to talk about this today is because it can feel like our reality in the bigger
• 23:00
picture is going in a really destructive way, and it can feel like there's really nothing we can do about it. So I'm thinking about things like let's, let's say AI. You know? A, a lot of people are very afraid of where AI is going, especially... This, was it this week or last week? There's been all this hype around, like, you know, an executive with an AI group that, um, resigned because he's like, "This is too powerful. It's gonna destroy humanity." Um, w- we... And it- so it's not to say that we don't do any due diligence, we don't do anything within our power to disentangle ourselves from a dystopian timeline And it can feel really helpless within us when we're like, "Well, what am I supposed to do about this? Like, I'm not the one putting the data centers everywhere. I'm not the one who's overusing AI. I'm not the one who
• 24:00
is giving my intellect away to AI. What power do I have?" And this is where... And we may feel like, oh, we've got to take the data centers out one by one, and I need to be a part of that, and so on and so forth. And again, like, it's not to say that our action is futile or that we shouldn't take action where we feel drawn to it, but it's to say that things can happen very suddenly and overnight, and seemingly in a way that just shifts reality. And I think that that comes about through consciousness. So these stories that I've shared are just illustrations of how reality is not fixed. It's not just one thing. It is permeable. It is malleable. And your intention is a critical
• 25:00
component of the malleability of reality and shaping it in a way that is to the highest good, in a way that is in accordance with your highest path. And your highest path includes the highest path for all. If you're on a, if you're on the highest path for you, it will not include a dystopian timeline for everybody else because that's not your highest path. Like, you can't just live in a bubble where everything is lush and green and the sky is clear and you're in perfect health while the world is in ashes around you. Like, you can only get to... Like, that... Maybe you can make the best of that situation, but that's certainly not your highest timeline. So if you every day are filling yourself with pure source light, with God, if
• 26:00
you are asking for God, for pure source to come in to your body, to come in to your being, and to express through you, think of the compound of you doing that deliberately and intentionally every day. And imagine if you use your imagination, you use your consciousness, you use your focus and your intention to have the very highest timeline that you could walk And that you could live, and you ask for that every day. Think of the compound effect of day after day intending that reality shift itself To the highest result, to the most beneficial timeline for
• 27:00
you and for all. And imagine the compound effect of others doing this, calling forth the highest, calling forth God to come into their body, to move through them and express through them, to radiate through them into the whole of their creation, into the whole of their reality all day long. Radiate through me, move through me, gr- and ground this God energy into this planet, into this realm, into my reality. And you do this every day, and things shift. Things shift, and this is where you will start to experience the miraculous. You will start to experience reality bending in accordance with the
• 28:00
highest timeline. And so the examples that I've given, yeah, these were not, like, you know, these weren't, like, miraculous things, but they are very powerful. They were very powerful for me to go, for me to experience because they show I experienced for myself the malleability of reality and how changeable things are, and that is hopeful because we can use that in a way that is intentional to bend reality into accordance with God's will, and so that this realm becomes more and more heaven on Earth. And that is completely possible no matter what signals, no matter what distractions are coming in, no matter what kind of proof everybody else is
• 29:00
trying to put on you to say that it's hopeless and we're losing or whatever. You know, it's, it's beyond what we can do, and the, the parasite class is, you know, they, they're too powerful and they've got a hold of every corner of our reality. No. You are powerful. You can be a conduit of God and of pure source consciousness, and you can make that intention every single day. If you don't do anything else today, do that. Call on God to come into your body, to express through you, and for you to have the honor of grounding that light. As you move through your world, you're holding this God light, this pure source light And everywhere you go, you are planting that light just by the fact that you're there. This is not
• 30:00
complicated. You don't have to do some sort of ritual in order to do this. You just do it as you move through. Your light changes things. And so it is, and so it shall be.
