- 1:09Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Welcome back. Welcome.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Thank you. Glad to be here.
- 1:14Speaker 1: We have a lot to get into, a lot to cover.
- 1:17Speaker 1: We're going to cover some fun shows and some, you know,
- 1:20Speaker 1: typical Juicy Scoop stuff. I do want to start out
- 1:23Speaker 1: the show with very sad news. Hayden Panater, you know
- 1:26Speaker 1: by now that she did pass away on Sunday night,
- 1:30Speaker 1: I believe is when they found her, early Monday morning.
- 1:34Speaker 1: She was only 36 years old. She's been an actress
- 1:37Speaker 1: since she was a child. Really became famous for the
- 1:40Speaker 1: show Heroes when she was like a teenager. Has gone
- 1:44Speaker 1: through a lot. Wrote a memoir. Had a very difficult
- 1:50Speaker 1: marriage to the point where she chose or decided or
- 1:55Speaker 1: it was decided for her. I'm not exactly sure, but
- 1:57Speaker 1: it was unusual that she had the husband have custody
- 2:02Speaker 1: of her child, but it seemed like she was having,
- 2:05Speaker 1: had still a strong relationship with the child.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:10Speaker 1: But they did just, we didn't know, but right as recording,
- 2:13Speaker 1: they did find Narcan in her house. And so they
- 2:16Speaker 1: believe it was an overdose. And then some, and the
- 2:19Speaker 1: reason that she would have Narcan is knowing that overdosing
- 2:23Speaker 1: might be an issue you have it there just so
- 2:27Speaker 1: so upsetting so sad I mean thank God for Narcan
- 2:31Speaker 1: it saves a lot of lives and I guess if
- 2:34Speaker 1: you know you have an addiction issue have it present
- 2:38Speaker 1: but it's like.
- 2:41Speaker 3: I'm so grateful that she wrote that book yeah.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Now I want to read it I've never I've not
- 2:46Speaker 1: read it.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Part of her story I think has been kind of
- 2:49Speaker 3: mysterious because she started acting so young and A friend
- 2:53Speaker 3: of mine who's been in the same sort of circles
- 2:57Speaker 3: because of kids has said she just never had a chance.
- 3:01Speaker 3: She started acting so early and when you're in that
- 3:03Speaker 3: environment and if you don't have people that are protecting
- 3:06Speaker 3: you and she was pretty open in her book about
- 3:09Speaker 3: the experiences that she had and I hope that people
- 3:12Speaker 3: all go back and read it now and give her
- 3:15Speaker 3: a little bit of grace to be like 13 years
- 3:18Speaker 3: old and to have experienced what she did. It it's
- 3:22Speaker 3: not a shock to me that life would become so difficult.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Well, one of the stories that she recently shared about
- 3:29Speaker 1: on Jay Shetty's podcast was when she was 18, she
- 3:33Speaker 1: was on one of these yachts and she was excited
- 3:36Speaker 1: to be on the yacht. And she said she was
- 3:37Speaker 1: having a great time and knew many of the people
- 3:40Speaker 1: on the yacht. And this one woman who she knew, trusted,
- 3:43Speaker 1: like a mentor, was like, oh, come down to, you know,
- 3:47Speaker 1: the bottom part of the yacht or the ship's and
- 3:50Speaker 1: brought her into this room with this grown man that
- 3:56Speaker 1: was naked with his hands behind his head. And he
- 4:00Speaker 1: was very, very famous. She didn't reveal who that was
- 4:04Speaker 1: and just was like, lay down next to him and
- 4:06Speaker 1: like shut the door. And she didn't, she got up,
- 4:10Speaker 1: she left. And then basically she was like hiding in
- 4:13Speaker 1: compartments of this yacht until, because she's like, what am
- 4:16Speaker 1: I going to do? Jump out of the ship.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:19Speaker 1: And, you know, in the comments now that this has resurfaced,
- 4:22Speaker 1: they're like, why don't people tell these stories? And, you know, um,
- 4:26Speaker 1: why don't they say who it is? And I mean,
- 4:30Speaker 1: because it's a legality thing, it's a scary, whatever, at
- 4:34Speaker 1: least she's kind of sharing like what kind of weird
- 4:36Speaker 1: shit happened. But, you know, of course the conspiracy theories
- 4:40Speaker 1: went right away before we knew that she, it appears
- 4:44Speaker 1: has had, um, an OD situation and there really isn't
- 4:47Speaker 1: any like foul play or anything. It was like, oh
- 4:49Speaker 1: my God, she's going to reveal names and somebody got
- 4:51Speaker 1: to her. And yeah, but even telling something like that
- 4:55Speaker 1: in like the biggest podcast and putting it out there,
- 4:59Speaker 1: that probably added to an already addictive, stressful situation. We
- 5:04Speaker 1: don't know who she heard from that. We don't know
- 5:06Speaker 1: even if it was a comment being like, you better
- 5:08Speaker 1: watch out now and what else is there. And or
- 5:11Speaker 1: blaming her. Why did you go on the yacht? I mean,
- 5:13Speaker 1: who knows what she went through? Just beautiful. And it's,
- 5:17Speaker 1: you know, it seemed like she was doing better. And
- 5:22Speaker 1: then she also had this other relationship with this guy. Um, this,
- 5:27Speaker 1: this interview on TMZ with Charlie, who is a TMZ, um,
- 5:32Speaker 1: reporter interviewed her boyfriend. This was three months ago, her
- 5:36Speaker 1: on and off again, boyfriend named Brian Hickerson. Um, And
- 5:41Speaker 1: this clip, he seems like, I don't know if he's
- 5:45Speaker 1: just a slow-talking Southern person or if he was on something,
- 5:49Speaker 1: but it seemed a little odd. And it was like
- 5:53Speaker 1: a virtual interview. And it's kind of like, really? You
- 5:56Speaker 1: have to go on TMZ and talk about your on-and-off
- 5:58Speaker 1: girlfriend three months ago? What was the point of this?
- 6:03Speaker 3: But also, why are they interviewing him? Who made the decision,
- 6:07Speaker 3: let's get an interview with this guy?
- 6:10Speaker 1: I mean, it was three months ago, so of course
- 6:11Speaker 1: these things are resurfacing. But TMZ is putting it out again. Like,
- 6:15Speaker 1: let's put all of our stuff because people are going
- 6:18Speaker 1: to be searching and looking for it. If you have
- 6:20Speaker 1: an interview with someone from a couple months ago, I
- 6:22Speaker 1: don't blame someone for being like, by the way, I
- 6:24Speaker 1: didn't interview this person. Maybe this is something. So anyway, very,
- 6:28Speaker 1: very sad. Sad for her family, obviously, and her child.
- 6:32Speaker 3: So talented.
- 6:33Speaker 1: And so beautiful.
- 6:34Speaker 3: I saw that her former colleague who played her mother–
- 6:40Speaker 3: when she was younger, said she was the finest child
- 6:43Speaker 3: actor she'd ever work with.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Well, I mean, children actors, child actors, they have to
- 6:50Speaker 1: be extremely smart, you know, because they have to, they
- 6:54Speaker 1: have to learn how to read young. They have to
- 6:56Speaker 1: be able to memorize, take direction. So they're like old
- 6:59Speaker 1: souls to start, which also then puts them in a
- 7:02Speaker 1: vulnerable position because they're around adults. They are, you know, again,
- 7:08Speaker 1: they're easy to direct. They're, They're not rolling around the
- 7:12Speaker 1: floor at five years old. They're on set, keeping their mark,
- 7:17Speaker 1: doing the same thing over and over again. So there's
- 7:20Speaker 1: a lot of thought that they easily.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Can be manipulated. The other sad part of that is
- 7:26Speaker 3: that when you're a child who's been abused, you have
- 7:29Speaker 3: to learn to study people to ensure that you're safe
- 7:33Speaker 3: in spaces. And that's probably why she was a great actress, too,
- 7:37Speaker 3: is that she had to learn how to study people
- 7:39Speaker 3: in order to make sure that she was safe.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, I don't know. Very, very sad. Good.
- 7:46Speaker 1: This was happy news that happened over the weekend. Jordan
- 7:50Speaker 1: Woods and Carrie Anthony Towns, he plays for the Knicks.
- 7:55Speaker 1: They had a beautiful wedding in Malibu and it was
- 7:59Speaker 1: really gorgeous. Everyone was black tie and everyone was to
- 8:01Speaker 1: wear black. which that really does look really great. When
- 8:06Speaker 1: I went to Kim Kardashian's wedding to Chris Humphrey, everybody
- 8:09Speaker 1: was to wear black or white and or black and white.
- 8:13Speaker 1: That looks good too, but then you feel a little
- 8:15Speaker 1: weird wearing white, even though you're told to. I think
- 8:18Speaker 1: wearing all black is a really great way to go.
- 8:21Speaker 3: And everyone looks great and everyone's happy. Everyone looks great.
- 8:24Speaker 1: You really stand out as the bride. She wore a
- 8:26Speaker 1: very traditional dress. To remind you of who Jordan Woods is,
- 8:31Speaker 1: she has created a very good career in the modeling world,
- 8:34Speaker 1: influencer world. But she was introduced to Kylie Jenner because
- 8:42Speaker 1: her dad worked on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. So her
- 8:46Speaker 1: family knew Jaden Smith of Jada and Will Smith's son Jaden.
- 8:52Speaker 1: And Jaden and Kylie dated in high school. So then
- 8:56Speaker 1: Jordan became Kylie's best friend. And then I believe her
- 9:01Speaker 1: dad passed. And so they did a lot together with
- 9:05Speaker 1: her family. She moved. At one point they were living together,
- 9:09Speaker 1: she and Kylie. And when they did this show called
- 9:12Speaker 1: Kylie's World or something.
- 9:14Speaker 3: I remember it very well. It was a horrible show.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Yeah. It wasn't a strong show.
- 9:19Speaker 3: It was bad. Yeah.
- 9:21Speaker 1: It kind of, it basically replaced the black China Rob show.
- 9:25Speaker 1: So I think there was a slate for that.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Right.
- 9:28Speaker 1: And that was not working out. Cause every scene was
- 9:31Speaker 1: just them screaming at each other and Woodland Hills, like
- 9:33Speaker 1: throwing things at each other. And so it was like, well, Kylie,
- 9:37Speaker 1: you know, can do this show with her friend and
- 9:41Speaker 1: you know, it wasn't juicy. It was, you know, her
- 9:44Speaker 1: doing like some charitable work and things like that. Um,
- 9:50Speaker 1: I was actually in a small part of one of
- 9:52Speaker 1: the scenes because I helped with this fan of hers
- 9:56Speaker 1: who had a very debilitating disease that wanted to meet her.
- 10:00Speaker 1: And I reached out and I was like, I know
- 10:02Speaker 1: you guys, I made sure that they were okay with filming.
- 10:05Speaker 1: And then I was like, if you wanted to film this,
- 10:07Speaker 1: like they will film it. Cause she's so such a
- 10:10Speaker 1: fan of Kylie's and Kylie, both Kylie and Jordan were lovely, lovely,
- 10:14Speaker 1: lovely during that time. So then after that, everything's going fine.
- 10:18Speaker 1: The show was one season. I don't think it was
- 10:20Speaker 1: Kylie's jam. Kylie's not like even into the shows now.
- 10:23Speaker 1: She just does her own thing. And, um, and then,
- 10:27Speaker 1: you know, while Tristan and Chloe were still trying to
- 10:33Speaker 1: be a couple after true was born, which by the way, Tristan,
- 10:37Speaker 1: remember they, we found out Tristan cheated on Chloe and
- 10:40Speaker 1: she had to like put a smile on to have
- 10:42Speaker 1: a happy birth. Literally found out like the day she
- 10:45Speaker 1: was being like, rolled into have the baby. They try
- 10:49Speaker 1: to make it work. And there's some party and people
- 10:53Speaker 1: see Jordan kissing Tristan.
- 10:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Um, at early in the morning, just like at the
- 10:59Speaker 1: door and it gets back. And that was a huge
- 11:03Speaker 1: thing that betrayal and blah, blah, blah. But Kylie was really,
- 11:06Speaker 1: I remember Kylie, there was a scene and Kylie calls
- 11:09Speaker 1: the sisters and she's like, This is awful and I'm
- 11:13Speaker 1: hurt and I know you guys are hurt, but like
- 11:15Speaker 1: we're better than this. And like, let's just like lay
- 11:18Speaker 1: off of her. And so they were able to eventually
- 11:21Speaker 1: rebuild their friendship. And Kylie and Timothy and Justin and
- 11:27Speaker 1: Haley were all there.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Oh, that's good. By the way, Nick's great championship last game.
- 11:33Speaker 1: I mean, yeah. Ben Stiller was there. Oh, and his wife. Well,
- 11:37Speaker 1: I think he's like their biggest fan or whatever.
- 11:39Speaker 3: He's making a doc. I think he was making a
- 11:41Speaker 3: documentary about the Knicks. Like the last season.
- 11:43Speaker 1: I mean, it was, I mean, if you're going to
- 11:45Speaker 1: marry a basketball player, you married a champion. He's cute.
- 11:50Speaker 1: He seems super into her. It's just lovely. You know,
- 11:54Speaker 1: and like when you think about a young girl that
- 11:57Speaker 1: was drinking all night or at somebody's house and This
- 12:00Speaker 1: guy goes to like kiss her. Yeah, it's horrible. It
- 12:03Speaker 1: is horrible. It's your best friend and you're close to
- 12:06Speaker 1: Chloe too. Like what are you thinking? What are you doing? Well,
- 12:09Speaker 1: you're not thinking and you are young. And really the
- 12:12Speaker 1: person to be mad at was Tristan. Yeah, I know.
- 12:15Speaker 1: And it appears that they never really have been romantic again.
- 12:19Speaker 1: It looks like Chloe and him never have. But it just.
- 12:25Speaker 1: I know. But this was like such a happy ending.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:28Speaker 1: So good for her. um, yeah, let's see how pretty.
- 12:31Speaker 3: Was that the wedding?
- 12:32Speaker 1: That's the wedding in Malibu.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Very pretty.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Like really looked good. Then Taylor was at some other
- 12:38Speaker 1: wedding and this was like an unfortunate photo because it's
- 12:40Speaker 1: like just a little bustle, but it looked like it's
- 12:42Speaker 1: coming out of her bride's butt. But anyway, I, I
- 12:46Speaker 1: just cannot, um, your feelings. I can't get over the
- 12:49Speaker 1: hair color of Taylor Swift and the bangs. I just,
- 12:54Speaker 1: I think she's beautiful, you know, and I, I don't
- 12:58Speaker 1: know if this, is this her real color? And she
- 13:02Speaker 1: just is like one of those people that says, I
- 13:04Speaker 1: don't want to put any highlights in it. I mean,
- 13:07Speaker 1: it is the epitome of Mousy Brown. And I just
- 13:10Speaker 1: don't get it. And I don't get the weird bang thing.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Maybe she doesn't want to sit and have her hair colored.
- 13:15Speaker 3: She's like, I got to write songs.
- 13:18Speaker 1: I just think maybe it is. She's like, I want
- 13:21Speaker 1: to have a hair color that nobody else in their
- 13:23Speaker 1: right mind would ever have either.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Maybe.
- 13:26Speaker 1: I don't know. It is just, and the bangs, I
- 13:30Speaker 1: just can't. Anyway.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Well, the nice thing about bangs is that you don't
- 13:34Speaker 3: have to get Botox in your forehead.
- 13:36Speaker 1: True that.
- 13:37Speaker 3: So maybe she's like, I don't have time to do Botox.
- 13:40Speaker 3: I don't have time to dye my hair. I'm like
- 13:41Speaker 3: making deals happen left and right. Yeah, and maybe this
- 13:44Speaker 3: is her way of just staying completely unique.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Good for her. Don't conform. Don't conform to a cute hairdo.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Keep an ugly one because you can sing. And write
- 13:56Speaker 1: music and play instruments. Perez Hilton, the latest is he's
- 14:01Speaker 1: receiving inpatient mental health care. And the site, the PerezHilton.com,
- 14:07Speaker 1: is starting to post again. I believe it's his sister
- 14:10Speaker 1: who worked with him and is running it. They were
- 14:13Speaker 1: giving the updates on the site. Why not? You have
- 14:17Speaker 1: to have ads running that. Now, if she works with
- 14:19Speaker 1: him and she has a child, then they've got the
- 14:22Speaker 1: mother and they've got his three kids. And he's not...
- 14:25Speaker 1: going to be the face of this anymore. It's going
- 14:30Speaker 1: to be a hard thing to sustain.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Well, according to Rob Shooter, he says that as of recently,
- 14:36Speaker 3: he was trying to sell the site. He wanted to
- 14:39Speaker 3: either completely change it over to be more faith-centered because
- 14:44Speaker 3: he's had this spiritual awakening, but that he was trying
- 14:47Speaker 3: to sell it and no one was interested. So that
- 14:51Speaker 3: probably compounded on the stress from sepsis, the medical bills.
- 14:56Speaker 3: which seems plausible to me.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Yeah, when we originally heard about the live TikTok of
- 15:05Speaker 1: where he was self-harming and being so awful and scary,
- 15:10Speaker 1: I thought, I think he has financial issues. But then
- 15:13Speaker 1: I heard, no, he's in this small house in Miami
- 15:17Speaker 1: with bars on the windows while his $ 4. 7 million house
- 15:21Speaker 1: gets built.
- 15:22Speaker 3: I'm not buying any of that.
- 15:24Speaker 1: That seems strange. Yeah. Like, even if you were building this,
- 15:27Speaker 1: why would you have to be in this very average-looking house?
- 15:31Speaker 3: Did he say why he left Las Vegas?
- 15:35Speaker 1: No.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Because if you see the footage of the home that
- 15:38Speaker 3: he was in when this happened, it doesn't look like
- 15:41Speaker 3: a multimillion-dollar home.
- 15:43Speaker 1: No, they're saying he was in the house doing this
- 15:46Speaker 1: while this other Miami home was being built. I mean,
- 15:50Speaker 1: the only reason I could think that you'd go from
- 15:52Speaker 1: Las Vegas to... Florida is just some better tax option
- 15:58Speaker 1: that's better than Nevada. But I thought.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Nevada was pretty good. No, no, no, Nevada is great.
- 16:02Speaker 3: Unless it's that he wanted to be near his mother
- 16:04Speaker 3: and sister.
- 16:05Speaker 1: No, the mother lives with them.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Yeah, this whole story is weird.
- 16:09Speaker 1: It's very weird. And I wonder, you know, if there
- 16:12Speaker 1: were some type of like drugs or something that would
- 16:16Speaker 1: have added to the psychosis and the breakdown. Something's going on.
- 16:20Speaker 1: And now it's like, is this sister going to have
- 16:24Speaker 1: to get a conservatorship to be able to run things?
- 16:29Speaker 1: And then I saw somewhere else that the mother might
- 16:32Speaker 1: get temporary custody of the kids so that they don't
- 16:35Speaker 1: go to foster care.
- 16:36Speaker 3: I hope he gets better.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Someone needs to step up and say, I need– But
- 16:38Speaker 1: somebody needs to take care of those kids. So you
- 16:40Speaker 1: want to make sure that you have, like, someone in
- 16:42Speaker 1: the family doing that. But, yeah, it's not good.
- 16:47Speaker 3: I feel– I hate to tell you what my bad
- 16:50Speaker 3: feeling is.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Just say it. It's just your thoughts. Just your opinion.
- 16:53Speaker 3: I feel like something bad's going to come out. There
- 16:56Speaker 3: has to be something else to this story.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. But I just, I mean, I don't, yeah,
- 17:02Speaker 1: it's just, there seems like it's very, it's very strange. But,
- 17:06Speaker 1: you know, you never know why someone, like, totally loses it.
- 17:09Speaker 3: True. That's true.
- 17:10Speaker 1: And, you know, the near-death experience and all that stuff. But, yeah,
- 17:14Speaker 1: how else? I mean, I do think it's a lot
- 17:16Speaker 1: when this is all you know. is like this gossipy stuff.
- 17:21Speaker 1: You're not the top of the totem pole anymore because
- 17:24Speaker 1: so many people can do it, us included. And then
- 17:28Speaker 1: you have the sister and you have the mother and
- 17:30Speaker 1: you have all these kids. And I also saw a
- 17:34Speaker 1: interview of him kind of being like I'm not going
- 17:36Speaker 1: to give my kids anything they're not getting no the
- 17:39Speaker 1: money goes to me it's my money and like that's
- 17:43Speaker 1: fine there's people that are like you know I forgot
- 17:45Speaker 1: who people love when like a rich person says and
- 17:49Speaker 1: then I told my son you're not rich I'm rich
- 17:54Speaker 1: you know and like I get it so he could
- 17:57Speaker 1: have been playing off of that and being like no
- 17:59Speaker 1: I'm not like setting up my kids with houses and
- 18:01Speaker 1: stuff like they're going to have to work like I
- 18:02Speaker 1: did But it seemed a little weird. It seemed a
- 18:05Speaker 1: little resentful.
- 18:07Speaker 3: It sure did.
- 18:08Speaker 1: And it's like you did choose to have these kids.
- 18:11Speaker 1: You know, you didn't get knocked up.
- 18:12Speaker 3: That's right.
- 18:13Speaker 1: You know, you went and got a surrogate and chose
- 18:16Speaker 1: to have three children alone without a partner. And he
- 18:23Speaker 1: did feature the kids.
- 18:25Speaker 3: Did you see what Lady Gaga put out?
- 18:27Speaker 1: No, what did she?
- 18:28Speaker 3: She posted... something along the lines of, and I'm paraphrasing,
- 18:32Speaker 3: but she recalled the meanest message he ever sent her.
- 18:37Speaker 3: She had been maybe in a car accident and he
- 18:40Speaker 3: said something that was super nasty. And at first I
- 18:44Speaker 3: read it and I went, ooh, and then I thought
- 18:46Speaker 3: all of us have gone through that where something happens
- 18:49Speaker 3: to someone and you go back to the moment that
- 18:53Speaker 3: you got the nastiest text or something and you can
- 18:55Speaker 3: never let it go.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, there's a lot of people that are like,
- 18:59Speaker 1: you know what? I don't feel sorry for him at all.
- 19:02Speaker 1: I don't care. This is the ultimate karma. He's fucking evil.
- 19:07Speaker 1: If he ends up in conservatorship, like Britney Spears did,
- 19:12Speaker 1: he put that woman through hell. He mocked every single
- 19:14Speaker 1: moment of her, you know, breakdowns and things like that.
- 19:18Speaker 1: So we don't feel bad. You know, like the things
- 19:22Speaker 1: that he did on that side, even though he apologized
- 19:25Speaker 1: and kind of tried to change his ways and he
- 19:28Speaker 1: would still he'd still put out the god like he'd
- 19:32Speaker 1: still put the gossip but it would be written like
- 19:34Speaker 1: wow this is really really heartbreaking humiliating stuff about the
- 19:40Speaker 1: person and then yeah but our thoughts and prayers are
- 19:43Speaker 1: with them you know like that's the only difference he
- 19:46Speaker 1: still would put out the he was not it's like
- 19:49Speaker 1: if you're really going to change you're going to really
- 19:50Speaker 1: say hey i'm not i don't want to be part
- 19:52Speaker 1: of this like gossip thing of celebrity and i get
- 19:56Speaker 1: it some people opt out after a while or don't
- 19:58Speaker 1: want to do it or whatever and um You know,
- 20:03Speaker 1: then then don't do it at all. Like but like
- 20:05Speaker 1: don't all of a sudden still do it. But instead
- 20:07Speaker 1: of drawing dicks on, you know, a teenager's face or.
- 20:10Speaker 3: White lines, you're still saying sticking with me. The fact
- 20:14Speaker 3: that you just pointed out that he would talk about
- 20:16Speaker 3: Britney Spears and what a full circle thing.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:20Speaker 3: With a conservatorship, possibly. Right. Like I'm going to think
- 20:24Speaker 3: about that for a couple of days to come.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Yeah. So we'll see.
- 20:28Speaker 4: We all like to think we've got a good eye
- 20:30Speaker 4: for a winning move. But when it comes to property,
- 20:32Speaker 4: it's about seeing the bigger picture. More space.
- 20:36Speaker 3: A shorter commute.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Somewhere near the sea.
- 20:39Speaker 4: On daft.ie, you can explore standout homes for sale across
- 20:43Speaker 4: South Dublin. From Ranelagh to Rathfarnham. Stillorgan to Sandy Cove.
- 20:47Speaker 4: When you're ready for the next chapter, start with Ireland's
- 20:50Speaker 4: number one property platform.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Daft.ie I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each
- 20:57Speaker 2: week on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people
- 21:00Speaker 2: who have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found
- 21:05Speaker 2: a way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 21:11Speaker 3: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 21:13Speaker 3: filed against me.
- 21:14Speaker 4: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 21:16Speaker 4: what would you do if it was given back?
- 21:19Speaker 2: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 21:22Speaker 2: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 21:24Speaker 1: He said, I have a work dad.
- 21:25Speaker 3: I need a home dad. What happens next?
- 21:27Speaker 1: When I came in, he started crying.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 21:33Speaker 2: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 21:36Speaker 2: happens next.
- 21:37Speaker 3: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 21:40Speaker 3: every day was.
- 21:40Speaker 1: You're worth the work.
- 21:42Speaker 4: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 21:44Speaker 1: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 21:46Speaker 2: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 22:00Speaker 1: Okay, Ultimate Girls Trip. It was on last night. It
- 22:02Speaker 1: was the second episode. They head to Beverly Hills to
- 22:08Speaker 1: have like a lunch with Sutton. What is your feeling
- 22:11Speaker 1: about the show?
- 22:14Speaker 3: Highlights. Portia's hysterical.
- 22:16Speaker 1: She's so joyful and cute.
- 22:18Speaker 3: And cute. I feel like Portia and NeNe are AP scholars.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:24Speaker 3: And the Orange County women were like, basic science classes
- 22:29Speaker 3: that were required for graduation. They're in two different leagues.
- 22:34Speaker 3: And having seen some of them in Orange County, it
- 22:38Speaker 3: was really sort of jarring to see their whole beat off.
- 22:43Speaker 3: They're so much slower that Lisa Barlow- is so much
- 22:49Speaker 3: nicer and funnier and kinder than she is on her
- 22:51Speaker 3: own show. I don't know what it, like these women
- 22:53Speaker 3: bring out a part of her that the others do not.
- 22:56Speaker 1: I think the Lisa Barlow of Salt Lake City is
- 22:58Speaker 1: just like, she's one of those people like, oh my God,
- 23:01Speaker 1: everybody's so mean to me on my cast. And everything
- 23:04Speaker 1: is my fault. And they point to me and it's
- 23:06Speaker 1: really sad because I really... It's like all these girls
- 23:10Speaker 1: are so fun. And it's true. It's like this is
- 23:13Speaker 1: like when you're in class and it's so boring and
- 23:16Speaker 1: you get to go on a field trip. And you're like, actually,
- 23:18Speaker 1: I really like science because we got to go to
- 23:21Speaker 1: SeaWorld or whatever. I think that's what it is. I
- 23:24Speaker 1: think it's like this is what's fun. When you're really
- 23:27Speaker 1: on the show, you have to defend your family, your marriage.
- 23:31Speaker 1: They try to take down your business. They say mean
- 23:34Speaker 1: things about you that you're not aware of. Like, it
- 23:36Speaker 1: is really, really hard for these women. Did you see
- 23:37Speaker 1: the clip.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Where Heather and Whitney are like, just so you guys know, like,
- 23:41Speaker 3: Lisa's an asshole.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Well, what's your... By the way, you are in the clip.
- 23:48Speaker 1: In the clip, Whitney and Bronwyn... I'm talking to Whitney
- 23:53Speaker 1: and Bronwyn. I'm finding out about Bronwyn's new dude that
- 23:58Speaker 1: she left in a warm bed in like Montana somewhere.
- 24:06Speaker 1: And at the time she's telling me and I'm like,
- 24:09Speaker 1: how's Todd? And she's like, he's being really nice to me.
- 24:13Speaker 1: So I was like, don't worry. I'm not going to
- 24:16Speaker 1: say that you're like with this dude because this was
- 24:19Speaker 1: before it was out. But I was like, good for
- 24:21Speaker 1: you for getting rid of the grump from the movie Up. Like,
- 24:24Speaker 1: goodbye with that sad sack. And so they're like, you know,
- 24:30Speaker 1: talking and we're having fun. At the time, Whitney was
- 24:32Speaker 1: telling me like, oh, my God, my business. I'm here.
- 24:35Speaker 1: The most exciting thing is happening with my business. And
- 24:38Speaker 1: I was like, OK, that's great. And then Giselle came up.
- 24:45Speaker 1: And that's when they're like, we need to warn you, Giselle, like,
- 24:48Speaker 1: watch out for Lisa Barlow. And that's where I'm just
- 24:52Speaker 1: sitting going like, I'm not leaving. They're not telling me
- 24:55Speaker 1: to leave and I'm not going to leave. And basically
- 24:58Speaker 1: they're warning her like and, you know, and Giselle is also.
- 25:03Speaker 1: very good at this game. She is elite level. Like
- 25:07Speaker 1: in that she's entertaining. She's not too mean. She doesn't
- 25:12Speaker 1: like plot a bunch of shit behind the scenes. She's
- 25:14Speaker 1: really kind of good in the moment. And she's like,
- 25:18Speaker 1: what do you mean? Like she's been really pleasant to me.
- 25:21Speaker 1: And she's like, Giselle, you just met her. You have
- 25:25Speaker 1: no idea the kind of shit Lisa Barlow can do
- 25:29Speaker 1: to destroy your life. She will gain information from you
- 25:33Speaker 1: and then use it against you. Giselle's like, I don't
- 25:38Speaker 1: know what kind of information I'm giving her. I'm like, no,
- 25:40Speaker 1: you're not giving her any. There is nothing that you
- 25:42Speaker 1: guys– there's nothing that's going to happen on this show
- 25:45Speaker 1: that's going to ruin people's lives. That's not what this
- 25:48Speaker 1: field trip is about. This is not the Elder Girls trip.
- 25:53Speaker 1: So I was just saying– and they're just like– and
- 25:56Speaker 1: meanwhile– like Lisa Barlow is across the backyard at the
- 26:01Speaker 1: white party the whole time, never coming near.
- 26:04Speaker 3: And then she was something to do with them.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Yeah. I think that was it. Giselle came up and
- 26:08Speaker 1: she's like, why is your cast half your cast over here?
- 26:11Speaker 1: Meaning Lisa Barlow and Meredith. So they were good. So
- 26:14Speaker 1: Meredith is there too. And they're like across the way.
- 26:17Speaker 1: And then, you know, and then, um, Whitney and Bronwyn
- 26:21Speaker 1: are over there. And I'm just like, Do.
- 26:24Speaker 3: You think that the women who are from the franchises
- 26:27Speaker 3: who are not invited as the core group feel like, OK,
- 26:30Speaker 3: I'm going to be on the show for a hot minute.
- 26:31Speaker 3: I really got to make it make my presence known.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Because the funny thing is the core group, they're just
- 26:36Speaker 3: laughing and have a good time. But in the first
- 26:39Speaker 3: episode of Orange County of Tamara fighting with Shannon and
- 26:42Speaker 3: it ruined the whole vibe.
- 26:43Speaker 1: It ruined the whole vibe. And I definitely think that
- 26:45Speaker 1: was very performative on Tamra's part because it wasn't Shannon that.
- 26:49Speaker 3: Brought it up.
- 26:50Speaker 1: But then it was Giselle that was like, tell me,
- 26:52Speaker 1: do you two hate each other? You know, and then.
- 26:55Speaker 3: But they could have been like maybe today. I mean,
- 26:58Speaker 3: they could have made a joke about it.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:00Speaker 1: But I mean, listen, Tamara's whole job for 20 years
- 27:03Speaker 1: is to make something happen in a scene. And it
- 27:08Speaker 1: was mean what she said and uncalled for because she's like,
- 27:11Speaker 1: I'm good. I've got a husband and my kids are
- 27:15Speaker 1: in college. And I was like, I'm sorry, Shannon's daughters
- 27:19Speaker 1: are really successful. One already graduated from college and the
- 27:23Speaker 1: other two are still there. And the other two are
- 27:26Speaker 1: still like currently enrolled.
- 27:28Speaker 3: And like living a great life.
- 27:29Speaker 1: And I'm like, and now aren't we watching you say
- 27:33Speaker 1: the college thing didn't work out for Sophia and that's
- 27:35Speaker 1: why I got out of this apartment.
- 27:36Speaker 3: And I don't know.
- 27:38Speaker 1: And who cares if someone is in college or not?
- 27:40Speaker 1: Like it just, especially in this day and age, I
- 27:42Speaker 1: just thought it was just like a weird, like a, Like,
- 27:45Speaker 1: did you not plan this out enough in the car
- 27:47Speaker 1: when you were, like, tying your roller skates?
- 27:48Speaker 3: Like, you should have.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Planned it out better because that was– a lot of
- 27:51Speaker 1: people were like, why is she bringing up the kids
- 27:53Speaker 1: thing when your own daughter doesn't talk to you? Like,
- 27:56Speaker 1: I don't– I was just like– I was team Shan
- 27:59Speaker 1: on that one. And I would– and walk away. I
- 28:02Speaker 1: hate it when people are like, walk away.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I will walk away.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Like, why would I be subjected to you, like– Basically
- 28:09Speaker 1: saying that I'm a bad mother. It was.
- 28:12Speaker 3: I know, but they could make it funny. She could
- 28:13Speaker 3: walk away and go, okay, lunatic, or something like that.
- 28:16Speaker 1: But it's too serious. Yeah, so then that was like, well,
- 28:20Speaker 1: now you guys are in trouble and you're not invited
- 28:22Speaker 1: to anything else. And then they go to these other
- 28:24Speaker 1: parties and they have the ugly pants party thing. Which
- 28:29Speaker 1: was cute.
- 28:29Speaker 3: How about on the drive to Beverly Hills? They're all like, Vicky,
- 28:32Speaker 3: you suck, who's on her laptop. Same thing, 20 years later, still.
- 28:36Speaker 3: The woman does not evolve at all. I've got work
- 28:37Speaker 3: to do!
- 28:38Speaker 1: I've got work to do.
- 28:39Speaker 3: Again, how many times have we said this to each
- 28:40Speaker 3: other on the phone? Is it a flex?
- 28:43Speaker 1: No.
- 28:43Speaker 3: That you're still selling insurance policies?
- 28:46Speaker 1: At 64 years old.
- 28:47Speaker 3: Where are all the other businesses that you had created
- 28:50Speaker 3: from this show?
- 28:51Speaker 1: Vicky's Diamonds. You're supposed to put diamonds for Vicky. Wine
- 28:55Speaker 1: by Wives. There was the vodka that had like a
- 29:00Speaker 1: weird flavor.
- 29:02Speaker 3: I don't even remember.
- 29:03Speaker 1: It was called Vicky's Vodka.
- 29:04Speaker 3: God help me.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Okay. And it had like pepper or like Bloody Mary
- 29:07Speaker 1: or something in it.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Great.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Okay, that didn't go. She had a book.
- 29:12Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 29:14Speaker 1: There's been so many, you know, other things, multiple podcasts,
- 29:18Speaker 1: you know. But, oh, you know what? The one that
- 29:19Speaker 1: she does now.
- 29:21Speaker 3: Well, we love Christian.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Yeah. But how is it that she can recap and
- 29:26Speaker 1: talk about the show? But it's my understanding Tamara can't
- 29:29Speaker 1: with Teddy. Teddy has to get, like, other co-hosts during
- 29:33Speaker 1: the airing of the show.
- 29:34Speaker 3: I think Vicki just doesn't give a shit.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:38Speaker 1: She doesn't give a shit. She's like, you know what? whatever. Yeah,
- 29:40Speaker 1: that's why I'm like, she doesn't get, like this is
- 29:42Speaker 1: the thing. I don't think she wants to come back
- 29:46Speaker 1: after these seasons.
- 29:47Speaker 3: I don't think she cares either.
- 29:48Speaker 1: I think she got that orange and she's like, I
- 29:50Speaker 1: want to end on a high note, but I'm also
- 29:52Speaker 1: not going to miss a dollar. So I'm going to
- 29:54Speaker 1: take this two-hour bus ride to, and work on my shit,
- 30:00Speaker 1: and I don't care. And then when Teresa's like, well,
- 30:05Speaker 1: since we're talking about it, you're really mean to me too.
- 30:07Speaker 1: You're like, pay your taxes, and what do you mean
- 30:09Speaker 1: by that? That was not nice. That gives me a
- 30:12Speaker 1: lot of anxiety. And Vicki's like, That was someone else
- 30:16Speaker 1: on my cast. Wait, who on your cast didn't pay
- 30:18Speaker 1: their taxes?
- 30:19Speaker 3: That's what I would love to know.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Who are you talking about?
- 30:21Speaker 3: But then all of a sudden she goes, oh, you
- 30:23Speaker 3: guys need to shop at that store. It's great for
- 30:25Speaker 3: luxury stuff.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Very high end, very high end.
- 30:28Speaker 3: Like what? I cannot with her, ever.
- 30:32Speaker 1: But, you know, she's so terrible that it's entertaining.
- 30:36Speaker 3: You always have to have some, it's the same thing
- 30:38Speaker 3: with the Valley. You have to have somebody that everybody
- 30:40Speaker 3: talks shit about.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Then they all have to get professional makeup to stay
- 30:44Speaker 1: in the hotel room and have.
- 30:46Speaker 3: Their enough with the scenes where the makeup artists are
- 30:50Speaker 3: doing their hair and makeup. I don't need that. I
- 30:52Speaker 3: don't need it.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Well, sometimes there's conversations. That's why.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Very rarely.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Yeah. So we. So, yeah, that's where we are with that.
- 31:01Speaker 1: It's kind of fun. Everybody else you've talked about. OK. Oh,
- 31:06Speaker 1: we talked about a little bit like, you know, Kyle's.
- 31:09Speaker 1: crying about her 30-year wedding anniversary, and I talked a
- 31:13Speaker 1: little bit about how awful Vicki was when she said, like, no,
- 31:16Speaker 1: you should feel that. But now I saw the whole scene.
- 31:19Speaker 3: She's like an old-school person whose entire sense of self
- 31:24Speaker 3: is built around a man.
- 31:25Speaker 1: I just want to know, is Dawn watching? Like, I'm
- 31:28Speaker 1: sure he's not. I would love to know what's up
- 31:29Speaker 1: with him. Like, she has.
- 31:32Speaker 1: I thought that was interesting. Okay. In the show, Vicky's like,
- 31:37Speaker 1: you know, I got wrapped up in being a TV
- 31:39Speaker 1: star and everything. And I should have stayed with Don.
- 31:42Speaker 1: I should have stayed with Don. I shouldn't have fooled around.
- 31:44Speaker 1: I shouldn't, I shouldn't say fooled around, but remember something
- 31:48Speaker 1: happened in Cabo off camera where she and Tamara probably
- 31:51Speaker 1: got like a free trip and went. And then Tamara
- 31:56Speaker 1: on the reunion goes, you called me. The next morning
- 32:00Speaker 1: it's like, there's a naked guy in my bed. And
- 32:02Speaker 1: Vicki's like, you're disgusting, Tamara. And like Tamara, like Tamara
- 32:07Speaker 1: cannot keep a secret. Yeah. Cannot keep a secret. Like
- 32:11Speaker 1: that's why I think people are afraid of her in
- 32:13Speaker 1: the cast. Because she has that ability to, like a girlfriend,
- 32:17Speaker 1: where you want to confide in everything. But you know,
- 32:20Speaker 1: you never know. And it's not going to be just
- 32:23Speaker 1: shared at a lunch. It's going to be shared with
- 32:24Speaker 1: cameras online. maybe even save it for the reunion. So
- 32:29Speaker 1: that is probably what ended their marriage, I think.
- 32:32Speaker 3: Maybe.
- 32:32Speaker 1: I don't know if she was already seeing Brooks, but
- 32:34Speaker 1: it appeared like maybe she was.
- 32:36Speaker 3: Yeah, but it could be like the Angie situation on
- 32:40Speaker 3: Salt Lake City where the husband's like, you have become
- 32:42Speaker 3: a monster.
- 32:43Speaker 2: True.
- 32:43Speaker 3: I cannot deal with this.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Yeah. And yeah, I mean, but she basically says that.
- 32:49Speaker 1: She's like, I wish I would have focused more on
- 32:51Speaker 1: like the law, which is also very insulting to her
- 32:54Speaker 1: live-in boyfriend. I mean, Michael, we're saying, I don't know
- 32:57Speaker 1: if we'll get married or not that here's her now,
- 32:58Speaker 1: but he is a developer. He's a developer. I'm like,
- 33:02Speaker 1: I don't really, I think she doesn't like being alone,
- 33:05Speaker 1: but I think she still is like, if I could
- 33:08Speaker 1: go back, like she said, I would have just stuck
- 33:10Speaker 1: with Don and just take, like, he was probably just
- 33:14Speaker 1: an easygoing dude and, you know, was, was good to
- 33:18Speaker 1: her kids and, Whatever. Because by leaving Dawn, she had
- 33:23Speaker 1: to suffer with horrible Brooks.
- 33:25Speaker 3: Praise them. That's what they're like. I can go to
- 33:28Speaker 3: my DMs and get told how I'm the best person
- 33:32Speaker 3: that ever walked planet Earth.
- 33:33Speaker 4: Right.
- 33:34Speaker 3: And you don't even seem to care that I'm a
- 33:36Speaker 3: big deal on the Bravo network.
- 33:37Speaker 1: True, true.
- 33:37Speaker 3: And these men are like, fuck off.
- 33:40Speaker 1: But when you think about it, after Dawn, she had
- 33:42Speaker 1: horrible Brooks, okay?
- 33:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Which still.
- 33:45Speaker 3: People are always going to question. I want to know
- 33:46Speaker 3: what happened to that guy. Can we do like a.
- 33:48Speaker 3: He's married.
- 33:49Speaker 1: He got married.
- 33:50Speaker 3: Do they have kids? Like where's he living?
- 33:51Speaker 1: No, I don't think he had kids. I think she
- 33:53Speaker 1: was like.
- 33:54Speaker 3: Is he selling timeshares? Like what's happening?
- 33:58Speaker 1: I think he married. I think he's a grifter. It
- 34:01Speaker 1: looked like he had a very nice wedding. He married.
- 34:03Speaker 1: I remember seeing the photos. He married an attractive girl
- 34:06Speaker 1: that was probably like 10 years younger than Vicky. Okay.
- 34:11Speaker 1: So like younger than him. But I mean, I remember
- 34:15Speaker 1: one time we were hanging out with them and he
- 34:18Speaker 1: said he was 46 and Peter was like, Peter was like, no,
- 34:25Speaker 1: you're not. To the point where like Brooks had to
- 34:27Speaker 1: like take out his ID. And I'm like, Peter, that
- 34:30Speaker 1: is like so rude.
- 34:31Speaker 3: But was he 46?
- 34:32Speaker 1: Yeah, he was.
- 34:33Speaker 3: Okay.
- 34:35Speaker 1: He was one of those people I think that just
- 34:36Speaker 1: always looked 55 from like.
- 34:39Speaker 3: That guy, in high school, he looked like an insurance
- 34:41Speaker 3: salesman with a briefcase. 100%. Selling tiles or something.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Then she got the horrible sheriff, who was the brother
- 34:49Speaker 1: of the host from Blind Date, who then ran for governor,
- 34:54Speaker 1: who then brought a schoolteacher to the Puerto Vallarta condo
- 35:02Speaker 1: behind Vicky's back and then married her within months, who's
- 35:05Speaker 1: 30 years younger than him. Again. Again.
- 35:08Speaker 3: I'd like to do, where are they now? Are they
- 35:10Speaker 3: still married?
- 35:11Speaker 1: Well, someone will tell us.
- 35:12Speaker 3: Someone will tell us.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Maybe I need to.
- 35:14Speaker 3: Get Brian Moylan in on this. He would go back
- 35:17Speaker 3: and check all this stuff out.
- 35:18Speaker 1: And then she has this guy who seems fine, but
- 35:22Speaker 1: I think she's just, I like that she, when I
- 35:25Speaker 1: saw the edited clip of her not consoling Kyle, I
- 35:30Speaker 1: made fun of it because we hadn't seen it yet.
- 35:32Speaker 1: to Jacques Peterson, and I was like, oh my God,
- 35:35Speaker 1: who says this to somebody? But then when I watched
- 35:37Speaker 1: the whole thing, I was like, this is why we're
- 35:40Speaker 1: watching Ultimate Girl Strip. It's for them to really reflect
- 35:44Speaker 1: on what it's like to be a real housewife, to
- 35:48Speaker 1: be on TV, to expose your family and your marriage,
- 35:51Speaker 1: and what things are you happy about, what things do
- 35:54Speaker 1: you regret? And even though she's being kind of a
- 35:57Speaker 1: nightmare dick, like she is giving it, she's giving it
- 36:01Speaker 1: and she's being honest. And then we get over to
- 36:04Speaker 1: her own season of season 20. Um, it is, I mean,
- 36:11Speaker 1: it takes me like three to four attempts to get
- 36:13Speaker 1: through it. It is so dull.
- 36:18Speaker 3: It's bad.
- 36:19Speaker 1: And, you know, compared to like when you're watching something
- 36:23Speaker 1: that you are into and you're like sitting up and
- 36:26Speaker 1: like really taking notice, There's just nothing going on. It's
- 36:31Speaker 1: nobody's fault. It is what it is. This is their
- 36:34Speaker 1: life and there's nothing going on. But going to Las
- 36:39Speaker 1: Vegas and doing the showgirl thing where Vicky reminded me
- 36:43Speaker 1: of Dustin Hoffman and Tootsie. It was just like everyone
- 36:46Speaker 1: looked awful. Why are you making these older women put
- 36:49Speaker 1: on these skimpy outfits?
- 36:51Speaker 3: It's like a retirement home. And everyone at the retirement home.
- 36:55Speaker 1: Does little plays and stuff.
- 36:56Speaker 3: And has theme nights. Where they dress them up. Because
- 37:00Speaker 3: when they're just sitting around, it's so boring. They have
- 37:02Speaker 3: to do things that are like really out of the
- 37:04Speaker 3: box to get them excited and to make it fun. Right.
- 37:07Speaker 1: And she's got her bum knee.
- 37:10Speaker 3: Dressed up like old women.
- 37:11Speaker 2: Right.
- 37:12Speaker 1: And then once again, the lady's like five, six, seven, eight.
- 37:16Speaker 1: And then Shannon steps on six. Okay, Shannon, I know
- 37:21Speaker 1: you said that absolutely you're this uncoordinated and clumsy. But
- 37:25Speaker 1: you know not to start stepping before you hear, everyone knows, five, six, seven, eight,
- 37:32Speaker 1: and everyone knows that whether you can dance or not.
- 37:36Speaker 3: It would have been funnier if she was like, I'm
- 37:37Speaker 3: not going to even try this. Like, I can't do
- 37:39Speaker 3: step aerobics. Like, what is the point?
- 37:41Speaker 1: Well, she knows that's what she can do. And she
- 37:43Speaker 1: knows that's the way, look, you know, she's got nothing
- 37:46Speaker 1: else going on. She's not dating anybody. She's not really
- 37:48Speaker 1: doing a business anymore. The lemon pants are sold out.
- 37:51Speaker 3: So why do they keep bringing the same cast back?
- 37:55Speaker 3: The last episode, it was a fight for 20 minutes
- 37:58Speaker 3: about you're my best friend, she's my best friend. Let
- 38:01Speaker 3: me tell you something. If I hear an adult woman
- 38:03Speaker 3: talk about their best friends, it's like a red flag
- 38:06Speaker 3: to me.
- 38:07Speaker 1: It's weird. It's so boring that when I watched it
- 38:12Speaker 1: for the third time because I was falling asleep, I realized, okay,
- 38:17Speaker 1: Heather Dubrow says to me, Gina and Emily, who have
- 38:21Speaker 1: been best friends for the eight years that they've been
- 38:23Speaker 1: on the show. They both came, I believe, the same
- 38:26Speaker 1: year or one right after the other. And they became
- 38:28Speaker 1: best friends and they always room together. And finally it
- 38:31Speaker 1: gets revealed. We don't like you guys rooming together because
- 38:35Speaker 1: once production shuts down, you guys can freely talk and
- 38:40Speaker 1: plan out the next day and talk about and we
- 38:42Speaker 1: will never know what you said. And we feel like
- 38:46Speaker 1: that's unfair because everything that, you know, we are sharing
- 38:49Speaker 1: everything and we don't like this. And that is really
- 38:54Speaker 1: what it is. Without saying it, it was pretty obvious
- 38:56Speaker 1: what they were saying. And, yeah, Tamara was like, yeah,
- 38:59Speaker 1: I don't like it. Like, we don't like you guys
- 39:01Speaker 1: spending time alone like that, like eight hours alone, like talking.
- 39:07Speaker 1: And then also Emily goes– I'll tell you, Gina, I've
- 39:11Speaker 1: been your best friend for eight years. Oh, my God, again.
- 39:13Speaker 3: Make it stop.
- 39:15Speaker 1: And you've told me a lot of things in confidence.
- 39:19Speaker 1: What do you say?
- 39:19Speaker 3: Confidence.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Confidence. You've told me a lot of things in confidence.
- 39:23Speaker 1: And I have never, ever revealed any of those things.
- 39:26Speaker 1: And I'm thinking, hi, you just got one of you fired. Oink.
- 39:30Speaker 1: You just got one of you fired. Because now we realize,
- 39:34Speaker 1: or both of you. You got alliance.
- 39:35Speaker 3: Alliance.
- 39:37Speaker 1: You know who doesn't keep a secret? Tamara. Okay? Tamara's
- 39:42Speaker 1: been revealing that Vicky fucked somebody in Cabo. Like, she
- 39:46Speaker 1: doesn't keep a secret. And it makes for a good human,
- 39:50Speaker 1: makes for a worse reality show person. And we don't
- 39:54Speaker 1: want to know that you guys are keeping secrets, that
- 39:57Speaker 1: Gina almost left her boyfriend or fiance, or that Emily
- 40:03Speaker 1: revealed that She and Shane have actually never had sex.
- 40:06Speaker 1: Who knows what.
- 40:07Speaker 3: Whatever it is.
- 40:08Speaker 1: If you were Tamra, then we would know about this
- 40:12Speaker 1: and we would have a better season. So now one
- 40:15Speaker 1: or both of you are going to have to go
- 40:17Speaker 1: if this show comes back next season. I think that
- 40:19Speaker 1: was the coffin.
- 40:20Speaker 3: Do you think it's coming back?
- 40:21Speaker 1: The nail in the coffin. I don't know, but that
- 40:23Speaker 1: was the nail in the coffin because it's like, that's
- 40:24Speaker 1: why this is boring. Because you guys are such good friends,
- 40:27Speaker 1: because you guys actually have each other's back and you're planning...
- 40:32Speaker 1: you know, which Heather's.
- 40:33Speaker 3: Trying to say, why do you keep these two broads here?
- 40:35Speaker 1: Yeah. So that they can just have their pleasant thing. Well,
- 40:39Speaker 1: we have to stab each other in the back.
- 40:41Speaker 3: You know, like hard work required labor.
- 40:43Speaker 1: Yeah. We have to have, you know, Vicki say that
- 40:47Speaker 1: somehow we took money from Terry's dead brother, uh, to
- 40:51Speaker 1: build something. Yeah. And then, and then I guess, you know,
- 40:55Speaker 1: then he said, I bet you a hundred thousand dollars, Vicki,
- 40:58Speaker 1: that the, for you to prove that that's true, because
- 41:00Speaker 1: it's not. And she's like, whatever, it was a rumor.
- 41:03Speaker 1: She's probably like, look, I was trying to make something
- 41:06Speaker 1: happen at that boring Valentine's Day party. So I had
- 41:09Speaker 1: to accuse you of, you know, taking.
- 41:11Speaker 3: If they didn't have, like, how much footage is on
- 41:14Speaker 3: the cutting room floor of them just, like, putzing around?
- 41:19Speaker 1: I don't think there's much. I mean, I just think, like,
- 41:22Speaker 1: you know, they go to the restaurant and, like... And then, oh,
- 41:26Speaker 1: and then Carmella, the new girl... You know, is like,
- 41:29Speaker 1: you know, it's so awkward where she's like, hey, boyfriend
- 41:32Speaker 1: of four years, you're going to come over.
- 41:33Speaker 3: Right.
- 41:34Speaker 1: We're going to eat pizza and cupcakes. So I look
- 41:37Speaker 1: like a real girl. And then we're going to bring
- 41:39Speaker 1: up the fact that you cheated on me four years ago.
- 41:42Speaker 3: I know.
- 41:42Speaker 1: And he's like, OK. And she's like, my kids just
- 41:45Speaker 1: need to feel safe and secure. Like I created a
- 41:47Speaker 1: home where it's safe, a home. You've left them. in
- 41:50Speaker 1: San Diego so that you could be on this show.
- 41:53Speaker 1: And the one scene you filmed with them, you revealed
- 41:55Speaker 1: that neither of them even go to school. So how
- 41:57Speaker 1: are they gonna get into college? Even if you get
- 41:59Speaker 1: Singer out of prison to help you get them to school,
- 42:02Speaker 1: we now know that they don't attend. There's a truancy
- 42:05Speaker 1: law being broken.
- 42:06Speaker 3: I really need the good people who watch this network
- 42:09Speaker 3: to understand she does not live in the county. She
- 42:14Speaker 3: doesn't live in the county.
- 42:15Speaker 1: She rented a house.
- 42:16Speaker 3: Her children don't go to school in the county.
- 42:20Speaker 1: So you're saying because the boyfriend, who's not their dad,
- 42:26Speaker 1: cheated on you four years ago, that somehow he's upsetting
- 42:31Speaker 1: the security of the children, yet you go on a
- 42:33Speaker 1: reality show, reveal that the kids don't go to school,
- 42:37Speaker 1: and also say, stay in San Diego while I rent
- 42:40Speaker 1: a place for $ 35, 000 to pretend like I have to
- 42:43Speaker 1: do my real estate business in a whole other city.
- 42:46Speaker 1: When San Diego has plenty of houses to sell there.
- 42:49Speaker 3: Gosh, it makes no sense.
- 42:51Speaker 1: I wish they would just go, you know what?
- 42:52Speaker 3: She also works for Oppenheim, so I think that's, this
- 42:55Speaker 3: is my theory.
- 42:56Speaker 1: They do have offices in both. I get it. You
- 42:58Speaker 1: want to be on the show. The rental is down
- 43:00Speaker 1: the street.
- 43:00Speaker 3: From the Oppenheim office. I think that those twins were like,
- 43:04Speaker 3: let's try to get some people on Bravo, too, so
- 43:06Speaker 3: we can just grow the real estate practices.
- 43:10Speaker 1: Maybe. Yeah, there could have been, definitely there's a synergy
- 43:13Speaker 1: going on.
- 43:14Speaker 3: Because she doesn't make sense for selling the O.C., So
- 43:17Speaker 3: they're like, oh, she was on Playboy. Maybe she could
- 43:20Speaker 3: be on Real Housewives of Orange County. And then people
- 43:22Speaker 3: can remember our real estate practice that we have in
- 43:25Speaker 3: Orange County.
- 43:26Speaker 5: Was she?
- 43:27Speaker 1: Yeah, she did like some wrestling. What? She did some
- 43:30Speaker 1: wrestling show. Listen, I get it. You know, if someone's
- 43:37Speaker 1: doing real estate and they're not on a TV show,
- 43:39Speaker 1: are they really doing real estate? That's a good question.
- 43:41Speaker 1: You have to be a TV realtor to actually. So
- 43:44Speaker 1: I think like, I don't blame her for doing this.
- 43:47Speaker 1: I could see going, hey, there's this opportunity. It's only
- 43:50Speaker 1: going to be about four months of filming. I'm going
- 43:53Speaker 1: to rent this place for six months down there. I'm
- 43:56Speaker 1: going to be bought back and forth.
- 43:57Speaker 3: I don't think she's renting it. You guys are old
- 43:58Speaker 3: enough to drive. I think it's an off-the-line house. She's
- 44:00Speaker 3: not renting it.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Whatever it is. Whatever it is. And then they're all
- 44:03Speaker 1: mad because she says to them, I'm going to have
- 44:07Speaker 1: Jen help me. She's not going to help her.
- 44:13Speaker 3: She's just going to be her assistant.
- 44:14Speaker 1: They're just going to go.
- 44:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:15Speaker 1: To, you know, Restoration Hardware and pick out some lamps
- 44:18Speaker 1: for staging.
- 44:20Speaker 3: Leave it the fuck alone.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Like, who cares? And also, she's smart. It gives her
- 44:24Speaker 1: a chance to film with a regular cast member. Like,
- 44:27Speaker 1: I would infiltrate myself, too. I'd buy the Dior bag.
- 44:30Speaker 1: I would get Dumb Dumb Jen to help pick out
- 44:33Speaker 1: some throw pillows. She doesn't have to keep her in
- 44:37Speaker 1: her business forever. And she's not going to ask her. Like,
- 44:40Speaker 1: she's like, that means she's asking her for capital.
- 44:41Speaker 3: No, she's not.
- 44:42Speaker 1: She just said, I'll show you how I do it. Like,
- 44:45Speaker 1: it was just like, ugh.
- 44:46Speaker 3: Do you think Jen's like, oh, God, now I have
- 44:48Speaker 3: to go with her to Restoration Hardware? I just want
- 44:51Speaker 3: to sit at home in a bikini and hang out
- 44:53Speaker 3: with Ryan, who doesn't seem to have a job.
- 44:56Speaker 1: No, I think she wants to go to Restoration Hardware.
- 44:58Speaker 3: You think so?
- 44:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:00Speaker 3: I think that makes her feel good. I don't think
- 45:02Speaker 3: she wants to work.
- 45:04Speaker 1: Anyway.
- 45:04Speaker 3: Like, screw that.
- 45:05Speaker 1: There's really not much going on. Okay, tell me what
- 45:07Speaker 1: you think of the Shards. The Shards.
- 45:11Speaker 3: They're high school seniors at Buckley. Yes. Because the author
- 45:15Speaker 3: went to school there.
- 45:15Speaker 1: I thought it was Harvard Westlake. Buckley. Same thing.
- 45:18Speaker 3: They are hypersexual. They talk very strange. Rich people in
- 45:25Speaker 3: the 80s kind of talk like this, which is hysterical.
- 45:28Speaker 3: They're all way too old. They're all in their 20s.
- 45:31Speaker 3: But then again, I thought a lot of 80s movies
- 45:33Speaker 3: did have like 30 and 40 year olds.
- 45:36Speaker 1: I talked about this with Jacques. And I'm telling you, people...
- 45:40Speaker 1: People in that time did act and behave a lot older.
- 45:45Speaker 1: They really did.
- 45:46Speaker 3: No one is worried about the SATs.
- 45:49Speaker 1: There's no homework. The SATs just started to be a thing.
- 45:54Speaker 1: I'm telling you.
- 45:55Speaker 3: It's crazy.
- 45:56Speaker 1: It just started to be a thing. And like Princeton
- 46:01Speaker 1: Review began like mid 80s where you could like take
- 46:06Speaker 1: classes to do better. Okay, Debbie's father.
- 46:10Speaker 3: Played by Wes, what's his name, Wes Bentley or something,
- 46:15Speaker 3: is he supposed to look like Andy Warhol? Like, why
- 46:18Speaker 3: does he look so weird?
- 46:19Speaker 1: The blonde-haired guy?
- 46:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:22Speaker 1: I don't know, I just think.
- 46:22Speaker 3: He's so creepy-looking.
- 46:24Speaker 1: I just think, yeah, I just....
- 46:27Speaker 4: Okay, also.
- 46:27Speaker 1: I'm like an episode behind, right?
- 46:28Speaker 3: Important to know for pop culture history, which a lot
- 46:33Speaker 3: of people obviously now know, Kaya Gerber's mother was married
- 46:36Speaker 3: to Homer... Yes. Geer's father.
- 46:40Speaker 1: They were married.
- 46:42Speaker 3: And she, 20 minutes after they have their first meeting,
- 46:44Speaker 3: they never knew each other before. He says to her, oh,
- 46:47Speaker 3: by the way, my dad was married to your mom.
- 46:50Speaker 3: And her response was, oh, cool. Let me tell you something.
- 46:55Speaker 3: When I was a kid, my mom would go run errands.
- 46:57Speaker 3: My favorite thing to do was to go into her
- 46:59Speaker 3: closet and look through her files. It's the way I
- 47:01Speaker 3: knew she had an extra marriage that she had an old.
- 47:03Speaker 3: I wanted to know all the information. That's the reaction.
- 47:07Speaker 3: When you're around someone who is the child of someone
- 47:11Speaker 3: that your mom was married to, you wouldn't want to, like,
- 47:13Speaker 3: yuck it up.
- 47:13Speaker 1: But do you think that's a truthful story?
- 47:16Speaker 3: Well, that's what they say. But she does seem sort of, like,
- 47:19Speaker 3: not impressed with anybody.
- 47:21Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe.
- 47:23Speaker 3: Okay, cool. I'm like, you don't want to go, oh,
- 47:25Speaker 3: my God, what a riot. Our parents were married. Look
- 47:28Speaker 3: at us now. Now, okay, another thing. Everyone's like, oh,
- 47:31Speaker 3: he's a dead ringer for his father. No, he's not.
- 47:33Speaker 3: He looks just like his mom.
- 47:35Speaker 1: The other thing is you don't know that growing up
- 47:38Speaker 1: in that house, that might have been a point of
- 47:41Speaker 1: contention like for Gerber. Like where, you know, like or
- 47:45Speaker 1: maybe a funny thing or maybe she, you know, didn't
- 47:48Speaker 1: like that. You know, like how sometimes people don't want
- 47:50Speaker 1: to know that like their parents ever.
- 47:52Speaker 3: Like married someone else or was with someone else.
- 47:55Speaker 1: Okay.
- 47:56Speaker 3: Like why did they get divorced? So she was 22
- 47:58Speaker 3: when they got married.
- 47:59Speaker 1: They just got a hamster came in between them, right?
- 48:01Speaker 3: He was 37. 37. And she said she.
- 48:03Speaker 1: Wait, she was how old? She was 22.
- 48:05Speaker 3: And he was 37? And she was just beginning her
- 48:07Speaker 3: modeling career. But he's already an actor big time deal.
- 48:09Speaker 1: But wait, were they married before Pretty Woman or after?
- 48:13Speaker 1: You don't know.
- 48:13Speaker 3: I think it was probably after.
- 48:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:16Speaker 3: And she said she just started to just take on
- 48:19Speaker 3: his personality. She's like, I guess I'm a Buddhist because
- 48:22Speaker 3: Richard is Buddhist.
- 48:24Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 48:24Speaker 3: And then she felt like, who am I? Because then
- 48:27Speaker 3: her career is exploding. And then they were never together
- 48:30Speaker 3: because she's traveling for modeling. He's acting.
- 48:33Speaker 1: She got married to him at 22?
- 48:35Speaker 3: 22. So they were married for five years. And then
- 48:37Speaker 3: it was like.
- 48:38Speaker 1: That's crazy. I didn't know they were together that long.
- 48:40Speaker 1: I guess we should split.
- 48:41Speaker 3: Like we have nothing in common. But then I was like,
- 48:44Speaker 3: imagine you get married to this hot guy. And then
- 48:46Speaker 3: he's like, I have to go and meet with the monks.
- 48:49Speaker 3: I've got to go to Tibet. Do you want to
- 48:51Speaker 3: like tag along?
- 48:52Speaker 1: Now I kind of want to do a deep dive
- 48:53Speaker 1: on the timeline of Pretty Woman, the hamster. Mm-hmm. And
- 48:59Speaker 1: you're like, Heather, what's the hamster? For the three people
- 49:01Speaker 1: that don't know what the hamster is, I remember where
- 49:04Speaker 1: I was.
- 49:05Speaker 3: You do.
- 49:06Speaker 1: When I heard the call. I was talking to my
- 49:08Speaker 1: girlfriend whose dad was a prominent doctor in Pasadena. She
- 49:15Speaker 1: is the one who told me. And she is not
- 49:18Speaker 1: a gossip girl at all. And she said that the dad,
- 49:25Speaker 1: it literally came from the dad, that it was somebody
- 49:28Speaker 1: in an ER that said this, and it got to her,
- 49:34Speaker 1: got to me, and it started to spread everywhere. I
- 49:36Speaker 1: was not the one that spread it. that Richard Gere
- 49:39Speaker 1: came to the hospital and there was a hamster stuck
- 49:42Speaker 1: up his butthole. And that that was some weird sexual
- 49:46Speaker 1: thing where someone would want a live hamster to kind
- 49:49Speaker 1: of like a hamster wheel but in your butthole.
- 49:52Speaker 3: I don't believe this.
- 49:53Speaker 1: I don't believe any of this.
- 49:54Speaker 3: There was a rumor about Jerry Penicoli. Same thing. He
- 49:58Speaker 3: was like a television anchor. And I think it's some
- 50:02Speaker 3: weirdo who came up with.
- 50:03Speaker 1: This stupid joke. Now, this is the Netflix doc I
- 50:07Speaker 1: want to see. Because this was a rumor that went
- 50:10Speaker 1: rampant before social media or anything else. And it was,
- 50:15Speaker 1: you know, like I remember another rumor.
- 50:19Speaker 3: By the way, are we going to green light this?
- 50:20Speaker 3: I'll executive produce it. We'll call it rumors. And each
- 50:24Speaker 3: episode is a horrible rumor. that we were going to
- 50:27Speaker 3: get to the bottom of.
- 50:28Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 50:29Speaker 3: Hamster gate is episode one.
- 50:32Speaker 1: Hamster gate. So, so it starts out with a call. Hello.
- 50:36Speaker 3: Oh, hi.
- 50:38Speaker 1: You know, it's me. I'm 19, whatever. I think I
- 50:41Speaker 1: was about 19. I want to say it was like
- 50:43Speaker 1: right around college time. So we have to look at
- 50:45Speaker 1: the timeline. And then this starts going around and it's like,
- 50:49Speaker 1: oh my God, I can't believe he's gay. He was
- 50:52Speaker 1: married to, you know, um, Sidney Crawford, and then he
- 50:57Speaker 1: goes on a talk show and goes, yeah, there's crazy
- 51:02Speaker 1: rumors that I had sex with a chicken. Instead of
- 51:05Speaker 1: saying a hamster, he said a chicken, which I'm like,
- 51:08Speaker 1: why don't you just say there's a weird rumor about
- 51:11Speaker 1: a hamster that never fucking happened, okay? But it was
- 51:13Speaker 1: like he kind of danced around it and was like,
- 51:15Speaker 1: it's just ridiculous. Then, years later, I heard from... A
- 51:25Speaker 1: gay guy.
- 51:25Speaker 3: Okay.
- 51:27Speaker 1: We started talking about this. And he said what he
- 51:31Speaker 1: discovered was there were two gay guys having dinner. And
- 51:37Speaker 1: Cindy Crawford and Richard Gere were there. And they wanted
- 51:41Speaker 1: an autograph. They wanted something. And they felt that they
- 51:45Speaker 1: were rude or he was rude or whatever. And it
- 51:48Speaker 1: pissed him off. And they started the rumor going. And
- 51:52Speaker 1: it went crazy. And it was always like, no, I
- 51:56Speaker 1: know the ER nurse. Or in my case, no, my
- 51:59Speaker 1: dad heard from somebody. It was like everyone that had
- 52:04Speaker 1: the info had like a little bit of like, well,
- 52:06Speaker 1: it must be true. And then he goes on and
- 52:10Speaker 1: marries somebody else. And, you know, all this other stuff is,
- 52:14Speaker 1: I believe he has like some, you know, 35-year-old wife now.
- 52:18Speaker 1: And continued to do movies and get work. But there
- 52:22Speaker 1: was always this thing. I remember also my brother telling me, like,
- 52:26Speaker 1: listening to a Rod Stewart song. And I was young.
- 52:29Speaker 1: You know, I knew about so many things young that
- 52:32Speaker 1: I should not have known about. And he was like, oh, yeah,
- 52:35Speaker 1: Rod Stewart was brought into the hospital. And he had
- 52:43Speaker 1: so much sperm in his stomach from sucking so much dick. What?
- 52:47Speaker 4: What?
- 52:49Speaker 1: That they had to like pump his stuff.
- 52:52Speaker 3: That is such an older brother dumb rumor made up.
- 52:55Speaker 1: Also that makes no sense. Not at all. Or whatever.
- 52:58Speaker 3: And how old are you? He told you this? Yeah,
- 53:01Speaker 3: so he told me this.
- 53:02Speaker 1: So then I had to hear Roger and see that
- 53:04Speaker 1: he's on his seventh wife. And I was like, oh,
- 53:07Speaker 1: I mean, I guess that isn't true, you know, like.
- 53:11Speaker 1: I mean, there's more disturbing things that Rod Stewart, like,
- 53:13Speaker 1: wrote a song about, like, tonight's the night. Spread your
- 53:17Speaker 1: wings and let me come inside, my virgin child. And, like,
- 53:21Speaker 1: those are the lyrics that we should be concerned about.
- 53:23Speaker 1: Not even if this was true, but I was just, like,
- 53:27Speaker 1: I remember imagining, like, a guy in the hospital with
- 53:30Speaker 1: his spiky blonde hair and them, like, pumping his stuff.
- 53:33Speaker 3: Oh, my God. By the way, how old were you
- 53:34Speaker 3: when he tells you this?
- 53:35Speaker 4: Nine.
- 53:36Speaker 1: Nine.
- 53:36Speaker 3: See, this is the problem with older brothers. They're such idiots.
- 53:39Speaker 3: They say, this is something like a little sister.
- 53:41Speaker 1: This is 80s life in the valley. I don't know.
- 53:46Speaker 3: By the way, you can't have it all. You can't
- 53:48Speaker 3: have it all. You can be a singer. You can
- 53:50Speaker 3: be a movie star. And then you've got to fight
- 53:52Speaker 3: these rumors. Can't have it all.
- 53:54Speaker 1: I do feel like social media and things run further,
- 53:59Speaker 1: but I also feel like things, if they are crazy rumor...
- 54:04Speaker 1: If it isn't true, there is that same kind of
- 54:07Speaker 1: investigative work that could be then debunking it a little bit.
- 54:11Speaker 1: If it was about you cheating or being gay or
- 54:15Speaker 1: whatever the case, you know.
- 54:16Speaker 3: By the way, we need to find those two guys
- 54:19Speaker 3: that were sat next to them at dinner.
- 54:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:21Speaker 3: That's the end of the episode.
- 54:22Speaker 1: And also I want to know, has any person taken
- 54:28Speaker 1: a hamster? And how would the hamster get in there?
- 54:31Speaker 1: I mean, the whole story.
- 54:32Speaker 4: Stupid.
- 54:32Speaker 1: Stupid.
- 54:34Speaker 3: Like those little feet?
- 54:36Speaker 1: But I do know there's a million ER stories about
- 54:40Speaker 1: how a firefighter had to come and a girl stuck
- 54:45Speaker 1: something up there and it got stuck or a man
- 54:46Speaker 1: sat on it. Or a Lego. And then they go,
- 54:49Speaker 1: I slipped and fell on this doorknob. And you're like,
- 54:53Speaker 1: how did you slip and fall on a doorknob in
- 54:55Speaker 1: your butt? By the.
- 54:59Speaker 3: Way, the beginning of the episode.
- 55:01Speaker 1: My Drake is probably freaking out because this is like,
- 55:04Speaker 1: very dirty episode for that.
- 55:06Speaker 3: But, um, okay. Episode two guys walk in and they
- 55:09Speaker 3: sit down. They're like, okay, we're going to do this.
- 55:12Speaker 3: Is that the beginning? The two gay guys that were
- 55:14Speaker 3: sitting next to them?
- 55:15Speaker 1: Yes. And then if they just said it to one person,
- 55:19Speaker 1: and do they have any guilt?
- 55:21Speaker 3: That's what I need to know.
- 55:22Speaker 1: Do they have any guilt?
- 55:23Speaker 3: That's what I need to know. I need to know that.
- 55:24Speaker 3: I need to know Brooks. I need to know if.
- 55:27Speaker 1: There were other movies that were given to other people
- 55:31Speaker 1: that he was going to get that were maybe Oscar
- 55:34Speaker 1: worthy that were just too close around the rumor.
- 55:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 55:39Speaker 3: By the way, good question. Was he in any animal movies? Because,
- 55:43Speaker 3: you know, big movie stars will do like one of
- 55:46Speaker 3: those movies to just get a big paycheck. And were
- 55:48Speaker 3: they like, listen, we can't do this, Richard.
- 55:50Speaker 1: I mean, after the hamster rumor, he did one of
- 55:53Speaker 1: my favorite movies, Unfaithful.
- 55:55Speaker 3: Great movie. Great movie.
- 55:57Speaker 1: And I loved that movie and I thought he was
- 55:59Speaker 1: a great actor. And at that point, I already knew
- 56:02Speaker 1: about the two gays at the restaurant. And so I
- 56:04Speaker 1: was like, this never happened.
- 56:06Speaker 3: Got it. Okay.
- 56:07Speaker 1: I 100% know it never happened.
- 56:08Speaker 2: Okay.
- 56:09Speaker 1: Okay. But it really is awful that for so– for
- 56:12Speaker 1: that you would think that and like– Yeah. And then
- 56:17Speaker 1: it's always that thought like where you– where maybe his
- 56:20Speaker 1: PR person at the time was like, this is just
- 56:22Speaker 1: a rumor. It's not even being written anywhere. So you
- 56:24Speaker 1: should just ignore it. And so he chose to ignore
- 56:27Speaker 1: it or make a joke about it in the sex
- 56:29Speaker 1: with the chicken line, which I.
- 56:30Speaker 3: Was like, no.
- 56:30Speaker 1: I would have just been like– Yeah. No, this never happened.
- 56:36Speaker 1: When the rumor, when it was said that I sold
- 56:40Speaker 1: stories about Chelsea Handler for money or exchange for publicity
- 56:43Speaker 1: for myself, I've said over and over, it's never happened.
- 56:46Speaker 1: There's no proof to it. There's no article. There's no
- 56:49Speaker 1: tracing back to it. There's no person that ever could
- 56:51Speaker 1: say that it was true at Us Weekly or anywhere else.
- 56:55Speaker 1: But still- It'll be like a comment under a photo
- 56:59Speaker 1: of mine, and it'll pop up all the time, and
- 57:01Speaker 1: I'm like, whatever. At least it's not that I had
- 57:05Speaker 1: a hamster up my butt.
- 57:06Speaker 4: True.
- 57:07Speaker 1: So, I mean, I can't complain.
- 57:09Speaker 3: You can't complain.
- 57:10Speaker 1: And I'm not. Okay, so the Valley, they had their reunion,
- 57:16Speaker 1: and it's the second episode. How are you feeling about it?
- 57:21Speaker 3: A couple things. One, you need Danny and Nia, because...
- 57:26Speaker 3: A true story about 30, a group of people in
- 57:30Speaker 3: their 30s is that there's going to be one couple
- 57:33Speaker 3: in the group who act like they have a great
- 57:35Speaker 3: marriage or they're super happy. And everyone in the group
- 57:40Speaker 3: is like, I'm not buying what they're selling. And it's
- 57:42Speaker 3: the whole act of unraveling what's really going on behind
- 57:45Speaker 3: closed doors. And that's why I find it fascinating and
- 57:48Speaker 3: I've enjoyed it. Lacey is a total star. I interviewed her.
- 57:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:54Speaker 3: Total star. I don't understand why they never had her
- 57:57Speaker 3: on Real Housewives of Orange County, and they should.
- 57:58Speaker 1: I think she's just too young.
- 58:01Speaker 3: No, she's in her 30s.
- 58:02Speaker 1: I know, but, like, I think she... You mean for
- 58:06Speaker 1: this group. Yeah, but the last few years she's been
- 58:08Speaker 1: dating Jesse, so it's like, and now.
- 58:10Speaker 3: Reboot and get her on.
- 58:12Speaker 1: Maybe, maybe.
- 58:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 58:15Speaker 1: Where does she get her money, Lacey?
- 58:17Speaker 3: She got married to someone who had, I think, a
- 58:21Speaker 3: lot of.
- 58:23Speaker 1: Money.
- 58:23Speaker 3: Money, yeah.
- 58:24Speaker 1: And so she gets child support and a big cut.
- 58:27Speaker 3: But I think she said she did something before. I
- 58:29Speaker 3: don't know.
- 58:31Speaker 1: Okay.
- 58:31Speaker 3: Well, she's living a good life. Okay. Why did everybody
- 58:35Speaker 3: go to Jasmine's wedding when she seems to not like
- 58:38Speaker 3: several of them? I'm surprised she invited everybody.
- 58:42Speaker 1: I just think, you know, this is who she works with.
- 58:45Speaker 1: And if you cut out one person, why not?
- 58:47Speaker 3: Let this be a lesson to people who are getting married.
- 58:50Speaker 3: Don't invite your coworkers. You're going to look back at
- 58:53Speaker 3: those photos and go, why did I... Why did I
- 58:55Speaker 3: ask Sammy from Sales to come? Because Sammy in Sales
- 58:59Speaker 3: is going to be like an asshole on the dance
- 59:00Speaker 3: floor and make a fool of himself. And then you're
- 59:02Speaker 3: stuck with pictures.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Well, I got married while I was on a TV show.
- 59:06Speaker 3: And you invited everybody?
- 59:07Speaker 1: No. I was on Lyricist's Lounge. And the only... person
- 59:10Speaker 1: invited was Tracee Elstrath.
- 59:11Speaker 3: I thought you remember you told me that.
- 59:12Speaker 2: Yes.
- 59:13Speaker 1: And I did think later on, was that wrong? Should
- 59:16Speaker 1: I have invited at least the executive producer? But then
- 59:19Speaker 1: I was like, well, that would be rude to the
- 59:21Speaker 1: writers that I share a room with. But I remember thinking, oh,
- 59:24Speaker 1: should I? And then, yeah, I'm glad I didn't because...
- 59:27Speaker 1: After this, we did one more season and then it
- 59:31Speaker 1: wasn't like I was on Friends. I was on this
- 59:32Speaker 1: like sketch show.
- 59:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:35Speaker 1: But I do feel like– I feel like it was
- 59:39Speaker 1: smart for her. Listen, it's not just a TV show.
- 59:41Speaker 1: I mean social media and everything.
- 59:44Speaker 3: You know what?
- 59:45Speaker 1: If the show was on and I got Marriage Day
- 59:47Speaker 1: and we all had accounts and we were posting every day,
- 59:50Speaker 1: then yes, I probably would have invited everybody that was
- 59:52Speaker 1: on camera and a couple of the EPs and writers.
- 59:54Speaker 1: I probably would have. Because I would have seen it
- 59:56Speaker 1: as a good promotion for the show, and it would
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: have looked rude if I didn't. I mean, what's $ 300
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: or $ 400 a person in the long run of just
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: looking good and hoping to stay on the show? Now,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: if they don't ask Jasmine back.
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: What's she going to do? God, I can't believe I
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: invited all those people.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: And I think it's a possibility she won't be asked back.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: And I'm not saying that I want that or anything.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: I just feel like. she's always like trying to get
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: a word in you know and then when she said
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: i'm sick of hearing about the kids.
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: By the way totally agree i.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Totally agree too but i just think it again sort
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: of separates her from the group.
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: Oh my god and i listen i'm saying this as
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: a mom of five why are the babies in all.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: The scenes Because they're smart. They're like, I don't want
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: to be away from my baby if you're going to
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: film me. I'm going to have the baby with the nanny.
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: I don't think it's that. I think they use them
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: as human shields. Are you going to scream at Nia
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: if she's breastfeeding a baby? You're not.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: Well, I swear. And then, on top of everything, Jax
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: Taylor posted this. Like seven pages of a long thing.
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: The spelling and grammatical errors alone are enough to drive
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: my mother crazy.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: So he emailed her. He emailed Brittany, his ex-wife and mother,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: they share crews, and wrote this long, awful email and
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: then thought, I'm going to screen grab this and put
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: it in a slideshow on my Instagram because obviously people
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: are going to read this email that I wrote to
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: my ex-wife berating her and clearly be on my side.
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: She's insane.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: And short, I guess, I don't know how long it
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: was up, but this girl, Ashley, she, she caught it.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: So then I read it. He had already taken it down.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: So this PR girlfriend must've left him alone while he
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: took a shit for four minutes and And then, you know,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: was pounding on the door. Jax, delete this. Not a
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: good idea.
- 1:02:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: And when you read it, you're just like, ugh.
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: You know what would have been better?
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: You know what she has to deal with is all
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: This is a tip to TMZ. Next time you run
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: into him, give him a speed round of questions. What's
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: the name of Cruz's best friend? What's the name of
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: his therapist? What are his favorite foods? What activities does
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: he like to do? How old was he when he
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: hit this milestone? I guarantee you he can't answer any
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: other questions.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: That's so smart.
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: There you go.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: Well, you know, it's just like this whole thing. You're
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: so full of shit, Brittany, and he's not in kindergarten.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: I'm the one that got him in the therapy.
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: It just doesn't matter. But does one person believe that?
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: What does this do for Cruz?
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Nothing.
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: Nothing.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: For you to then put this out there. He doesn't care, though.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Their source of income is being famous. You can't put
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: the toothpaste back in the tube. She is doing her best.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: She's drawing awareness to people who have children on the spectrum.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: She's showing what she's doing, making the most of it,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: doing everything she can with him.
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: How about the part where she said, I built a
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: whole sensory room for him? I don't think he knows
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: what sensory room would be.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: Right. I mean, so it's just like... Yeah. I'm so
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: glad that he posted this even for a second because
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: it just proves her points. Reminds everybody. Okay, so imagine
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: you're co-parenting with someone. You guys have a special needs child.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: He's starting kindergarten. He is able to go to the
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: kindergarten maybe with a shadow or whatever. And now this
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: is all being... Picked apart and spewed in a fighting
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: email with.
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: The father publicly. Do you think he's trying to get
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: a new show or something? Because this isn't helping. Yeah,
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: that backfired.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: Really backfired bad.
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: Do you think that Publis' girlfriend is like, fuck. Do
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: you think he falls asleep and he's snoring in the
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: bed and she's got one eyeball open?
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: Not yet.
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: There's like a light in the corner.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Not yet.
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: And she's just like, what have I done?
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: She's blinded. Listen, there are women that marry murderers behind
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: bars who then cheat on them with other women that
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: come to visit them and they stick by them because
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: they believe in the covenant of marriage. Women are stupid
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: sometimes when it comes to falling in love with men.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: They don't believe that there is another penis out there
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: that will fit. And they are just.
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: Like, this is it. Maybe she's like, I'm going to
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: be the one to fix Jax.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: It's not even that. It's just they just fall for
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: this guy and they just don't want to not. Even
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: Brittany said, you know, I'd get mad at him and fight.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: And then I just needed to be around him. So
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: he does have that with certain type of women. He does.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: He does have a charm, something. He's never had trouble
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: getting a girlfriend. He's never had trouble getting laid. He
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: still doesn't. And in the process can make a certain
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: type of woman like do everything for him. Look what
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: she did all those years. I mean, how many times?
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: I mean, it was not only did she see it
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: and prove it, then it was on repeat of him
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: cheating and not being great. And she still chose to
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: marry him. She still told herself, Things are better now.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: He's totally changed. We'll get married.
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: It's a mystery what about him in the first place
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: she even saw.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: They had a little spinoff where they spent the summer
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: in Kentucky or something. It was for a wedding.
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: Before the wedding.
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: And there were so many moments that were like, I
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: didn't watch the whole thing, but when I see clips,
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: that he was awful. He was, yeah. Like a million
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: red flags. where the parents and everybody was like, but
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: then it's part of the show. Just like anyone who
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: gets married, you're like, well, we already did the deposit
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: and everyone's expecting it. Now imagine pulling out when it's
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: also your income, all of your friends, the fun of
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: getting married, telling yourself that like, this isn't going to
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: get better. And the way she is wanting to believe
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: it and being so in love with him and like,
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: She was working at Hooters before she met him.
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: I saw a clip where she said, I really believed
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: in him, and I always try to believe in people,
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: and it's a quality about myself that I'm really proud of,
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: and I don't want that to change.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: But I'm like, she needs to hang out with me
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: a couple times. I've watched so many true crime documentaries
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: and cult docs.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: I mean, I think she's getting there, and some of
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: it is just maturity. Some of it, for some people...
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: you know, but then she picked that other guy and
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: then admitted to giving him $ 10, 000. Maybe there's like three
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: different baby mamas and four kids and not cute.
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: I can't keep up with it. Yeah. Maybe I need
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: to worry about other things.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: World hunger. Danny, this is Danny and desperate, um, housewives.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: Look how cute he was. Um, Okay, some news. Ariana
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: Maddox from Vanderpump Rules and Love Island and Chicago is
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: heading back to Broadway in a play called Just In Time.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: She'll be there from September to November. So she legit
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: is working. And then Whitney from Secret Lives of Mormon
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: Wives is, I think, going back to Chicago. I don't
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: understand this red, curly 80s hair, but... I think it's pretty.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: She looks pretty. Self is kind of weird.
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: But I don't know.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: So she's working. She's a reality star who's working. Then
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Lisa Barlow is doing a follow-up hit song to Baby Gorgeous.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: It's called Echoes of You. And I really love it.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: And I'm just blown away by everybody that just loves
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: my music. You're so baby gorgeous. You're just it. You're
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: just baby gorgeous.
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: What? Meredith's a DJ.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: Meredith is a DJ and sells caviar.
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: Wait, did you see Cynthia and Bailey's song?
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: Yep, right here. Cynthia has The Peach Life.
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: I got to tell you.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: And it's a good hit.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: That's a good one.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: And listen, I am going to ask any music producer
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: that would like to get together with me. I can just,
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: you know, we can help with lyrics. We can just whatever.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: I can sing, and you don't even really have to
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: do auto-tune on my voice. Mm-hmm. And I would like
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: a bop. Like, I want a bop like that.
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: I think it's a great idea.
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: And so let's get together.
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: If you do a music video, I would love to
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: be involved. I'll just play the triangle. Okay.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: Yeah. Absolutely.
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: Okay, good.
- 1:09:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: I mean, let's do it. Let's do it all. So
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: come to me. But yeah, they played it at the
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: reunion of Real House of Atlanta.
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: But you know what I love about that clip? They
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: were all excited for her.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: They were excited.
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: I love that.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: They actually thought it was good.
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: It was really sweet.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: And her ex-husband, what a piece of shit.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: He was on, was he on King?
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: Carlos King? Yeah, he was with Carlos King. And the
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: new girlfriend, right?
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: And the new girlfriend was subjected to having to sit
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: on his lap.
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: I don't like it.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Very weird.
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: I don't like it.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: And then he did another interview where he was angry,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: talking about some piece of property he had that he
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: asked Cynthia to buy for him while he went to prison.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: And then that way, when he came back, he could
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: buy her out. And it was so confusing. And he, again,
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: like a Jax, he thinks by telling this, first of all, nobody...
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: is going to listen to this that doesn't watch Housewives.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: And anyone who watched Housewives knows that you're a piece
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: of shit. They're not going to suddenly be like, yeah,
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: you know what? Like you, again, got into some snafu,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: whatever it was, shady shit with a restaurant and taxes
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: and money. And you, you know, had to go away. Like,
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: it's just like not a big deal. And no, no. Like,
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: no to you, Papa Smurf. Remember she used to call
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: him Papa Smurf?
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: The father of Noel. Still one of the hottest guys
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: ever from the Madonna video.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: He played Black Jesus. So cute.
- 1:10:48Speaker 3: So cute.
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: Now, what is going on with the L.A. Next Gen?
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: I thought she was supposed to be on it, Cynthia's daughter.
- 1:10:59Speaker 3: I didn't see her name, but I saw.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: I thought the Dubrow son was supposed to be on it.
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: Mm-hmm. One of the Umansky girls.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:11:10Speaker 3: I don't remember who else.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: What happened to the show?
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: I think it's coming out.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Oh, they filmed it and it really all happened?
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it went to focus groups. And then
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: I think it'll come out soon.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: Brooke Nader went on a European trip. She is a model.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: That you just like hear those names and you're like,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: I don't really know why she's famous. I don't know
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: what it is. But then she had like a TV
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: show with her sisters. It's a reality show. It's coming out.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: And she made sure the paparazzi took photos of her
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: topless in Europe, which you can do in Europe. And
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: she is on a private yacht. But then they got
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: a photo of her dad. What? Yeah.
- 1:11:51Speaker 5: No.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: That is her dad.
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: No, please stop.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: That is her dad.
- 1:11:54Speaker 3: Wait, stop. Wait, what?
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: That's her dad looking at her naked boobs on like
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: a little tinder boat.
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: Wait, are we sure?
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: What?
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: Huh? This is what I think happened.
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: Oh my God.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: I think this was all planned. They had the photos taken.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: They're probably currently filming the show. And this will be
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: a whole thing.
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: A whole story.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: So please use it. Please use us being shocked. On
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: the Brooke Nader show.
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: Listen, topless on a boat, you can do. Topless on
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: a beach, you can do. I get it. It's Europe.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: Some people don't care about a nipple. I've been in
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: that situation, and my friend was like, are you mad?
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: And I'm like, I'm not mad.
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: Oh, taking a top off?
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: But inside, I am uncomfortable. And I'm not mad at you.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: You have every right to do it. It's your boat.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: You have a good body. This is what you want
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: to do. It's your vacation. But I can't, it's not
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: your fault that I feel uncomfortable, but I do feel,
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: I am, I don't like it. I'm uncomfortable with just
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: tits out, boobs out, naked boobs, like with other people around.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: Like it's one thing if we're just like trying on
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: clothes and my friend takes off her top, like we're
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: trying clothes, but like other people around, like having a drink,
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: it is a little, it's a little hard. It just
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: was uncomfortable for me. I didn't love it. I didn't
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: love the day. Yeah.
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: Well, it's different. It's a totally different culture.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: I know. But I can admit that it's like made
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: me uncomfortable. And if that makes me like a prude
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: or whatever, that's fine. I'm not saying she shouldn't do it.
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: And I just remember my dad used to be like.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: Like when parents would be like, oh, please, like I
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: wiped your ass. You're like, that doesn't help. That doesn't
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: help that I'm feeling weird now that I've gone through
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: puberty and you're my parent.
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: I think a lot of this is the family that
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: you grew up in because we probably grew up extremely similar.
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: My mom is like, you know, an Irish Catholic born
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: into a family of Irish Catholics. I saw her boobs
- 1:14:15Speaker 3: one time as a child and it was the scariest
- 1:14:18Speaker 3: thing I'd ever seen in my life. Pre- reduction surgery,
- 1:14:21Speaker 3: it really affected me. Doors locked when you take a shower.
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: I did not grow up around that, although I have
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: friends that are very open and free, and I think
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: they were just raised in homes where that was just work.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: Okay, I just realized what a complete and total hypocrite
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: I am, okay? Because I'm saying, how can you just
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: have your tits out and your dad, whatever? So when
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: I gave birth... The.
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: Dad thinks a little bit much.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: Okay, when I gave birth to Drake... I was like, yeah,
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: mom and dad can come in the room.
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: No, I've had 10 people in the room.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: But they were not, they were watching like the crotch.
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: I had 10 girlfriends watch a baby come out.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: Okay, but do you think it's weird that I let
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: my dad? I just felt like it was very medical.
- 1:15:08Speaker 3: No, it's medical.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: And I was kind of like, well, he's never seen
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: this before. Like he wasn't in the room for my mom.
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: He wasn't in the room for my sister. And I
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: was like, yeah. The next time, I don't think anybody
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: wanted to come, quite honestly. Nobody was like, yeah, let
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: me get up. They're like, we're good. We're good. But
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: I mean, I look back and I think that's weird.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: And then also, we filmed it from the crotch.
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: That part is weird. And that Peter showed it is weird.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: And I was like, don't you guys want to see
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: it to people? I think that's very weird. I would
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: say I'm fucking weird.
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: I think it's weird that he's joyful in the picture
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: there could have something else could have happened i.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: Don't know i don't know a fish could have hopped
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: out of the water and and he could have been
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: laughing about the fish.
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: And my initial reaction is with her zoink yeah wowza
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: what's happening here.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: Yeah yeah um yeah so there you go um ryan
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: lockie who was like ryan lockie seems like the He
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: was the cutest, dumbest Olympic swimmer we've ever had. And
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: his cute dumbness made him like a reality star and stuff.
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: And then remember there was that whole thing where he
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: like got in trouble during one of the Olympics? Yes.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: What was that story?
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: I don't remember, but he's just annoying.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: He like stole something?
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: He's weird.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: He did some weird thing. Anyway, he just keeps showing
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: up and he's always like, okay, I'm going to tell
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: you the real me now. And everyone's like, no one cares. Anyway,
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: he got this wife and then she went on People
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: and did an interview kind of like Britney. They're just
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: doing a series of like, tell us about your fucking
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: horrible ex. And so then she sits down and she
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: tells a story of how she found out that like
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: her best friend was seeing her husband. And she then
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: called her best friend and she goes and the friend
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: was like exactly like kind of Rachel Raquel with Ariana
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: like How are things going with you guys? I'm always
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: here for you. I'm sorry you're going through trouble. And
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: the whole time she's seeing Ryan Lockey. So then Ryan
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: Lockey's wife calls the best friend and the girl's like, hey, girl.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: And she says, you desperate piece of shit. And she goes, what?
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: And she goes, if you don't know what I'm talking about,
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: then you really are dumber. I hope she said, then
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: you really are dumber than Ryan Lockey. But I think
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: she said, then you really are dumber than even I
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: think you are.
- 1:17:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: And she's like, well, anyway, they're together now.
- 1:17:45Speaker 3: Great. Live it up, girl.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: This girl, Daisy De La Hoya.
- 1:17:51Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: She was a top reality star in the VH1 days.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: She was one of the contestants with Bret Michaels' Rock
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: of Love. She went on to have her own show,
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: Daisy in Love, which was like all these, they were
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: all like mini, like a knockoff of The Bachelor, where
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: they'd go on separate dates and do group things and
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: The people would start to hate each other that liked her.
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: I think I wrote back and forth to her because
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: I covered that show and I feel like she's really nice.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: Well, she said she's been struggling to find work. She
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: still looks pretty. Yeah. And she said, I've applied to
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: McDonald's twice to work at McDonald's. And, you know, whatever,
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: nothing wrong with working at McDonald's. You don't have any
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: other skills.
- 1:18:39Speaker 3: Yeah, it's hard.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: So I don't know. Uh, maybe, maybe she knew this
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: would be a headline and this will approach her people
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: to say like, Hey, come on my podcast. I don't know.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: I don't really. care to catch up with her. Do you?
- 1:18:53Speaker 3: Well, not now, but back in the day, I did
- 1:18:55Speaker 3: this interview with the creator of Rock of Love. And
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: the thing that made me laugh so hard was he
- 1:19:00Speaker 3: said they had to teach him how to date because
- 1:19:02Speaker 3: he always had groupies who, Bret Michaels. So they were like,
- 1:19:06Speaker 3: you have to ask them, what's your name? Where are
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: you from?
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: Do you know that whole time he had, like, a
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: wife or a girlfriend? I'm sure. Who was, like, fine. Like, no,
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: the whole time he had a partner. Like, he was
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: together with the woman. Well, not only that, he didn't.
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: Know how to talk to people because he had a
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: groupie come to the door all the time. He was like, oh, like,
- 1:19:29Speaker 3: what's your name? Like, he didn't know how to do
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: any of that.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: Right. Well, you don't have to try. You don't have
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: to pursue anyone.
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: No.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: Yeah, you never have to pursue anyone. That's so interesting.
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: Anyway, it is crazy when you think of those shows
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: that were such a big hit. There weren't that many.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: They were so famous. They were in the tabloids all
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: the time.
- 1:19:53Speaker 3: Do you remember when Verne Troyer peed on Surreal Life?
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: Yes. And he rolled off the bed like a baby
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: that you would have to send to the hospital for
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: I had trauma.
- 1:20:03Speaker 3: And everybody got along so great on those shows. And
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: they became great friends. Flavor Flavin, Brigitte Nielsen.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: But those shows, the thing is, because social media wasn't there,
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: there wasn't this other opportunity of getting brand deals, becoming
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: an influencer, making appearances, doing music, being a DJ, selling caviar,
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: Vicky's Vodka, Vicky's Diamonds. None of that was really there.
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: And so then they'd get on the next show. And
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: then that's kind of it.
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: And, yeah, but it was like just such a famous,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: such a famous thing. And it was like, and I'm
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: sure they're going to, and those people get paid nothing.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: To this day, the people on The Bachelor and The
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: Bachelorette do not get paid for anything. I'm like, how
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: do you cover your rent? Like if you're going to
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: go be on The Bachelor and you're like, so you
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: have to leave whatever job you have. And then you're like, okay,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: maybe I'll be back in a week. Maybe I'll be
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: back in six weeks. Okay, well, where's the rent for
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: this place? They don't even give them like a stipend.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: I would think that every single contestant, like no matter
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: whether you stay one week or not, or I always
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: think any reality show, you should be paid the longer
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: you stay. Because that's the motivation. whether it's a special
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: forces dancing with the stars or even a bachelor where
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: you're like, cause you might get there and go, um,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: I don't like this guy and his weird chompers and
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: I'm not into him at all. Okay. I want to
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: go back to my beautiful home. Like I'm going to
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: just say absolutely not. And I, or I'm gonna say,
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: I'm not going to accept this rose. Right.
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: But if you know that every week you stay, you're
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: going to bank 5k. You're like, yeah, let me see
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: if I can make this work. Like for such little money.
- 1:21:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: I think they would have such a better show. I
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: wonder what the, do you know, you've interviewed so many people.
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: Do you understand the philosophy about not paying these people?
- 1:22:01Speaker 3: Well, I just think they don't actually have these big
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: budgets that you think they do. I mean, you see
- 1:22:06Speaker 3: the show on, on when it airs and they're going
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: on helicopter rides and all of a sudden all of
- 1:22:13Speaker 3: that stuff is given to them for free for promotion.
- 1:22:16Speaker 3: They're just, they don't have the budgets.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:22:19Speaker 3: 25 contestants.
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: And by the way, they're unknowns. They're plucked from obscurity.
- 1:22:27Speaker 3: Then you say, oh, well, you don't really have any
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: previous TV experience. So we're going to pay you in
- 1:22:33Speaker 3: four waffles. And then you should be grateful because look
- 1:22:37Speaker 3: at the big stars that have come out of this show.
- 1:22:40Speaker 3: And it is what it is.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: Your show, Reality Life with Kate Casey, you cover all
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: these fun things. But you also cover very interesting documentaries.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: You interview people. the producers, the stars of a, what
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: are some hot things you have coming on your show? Okay.
- 1:22:57Speaker 3: Forensic psychiatrist who specializes in maternal filicide cases, talking about
- 1:23:02Speaker 3: the Lindsay Clancy trial and specifically what is postpartum psychosis?
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: Because I see a lot of chatter online. Well, she
- 1:23:10Speaker 3: texts him, pick up the hot chocolate. So that just
- 1:23:12Speaker 3: shows you she doesn't have postpartum psychosis. Most people don't
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: even understand it. So that's a good one. Um, I've
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: got some great docs. Here are two ones that I
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: think that you may be interested in. One is called Abandoned.
- 1:23:26Speaker 3: It's on Hulu. Three children are dropped off at a
- 1:23:31Speaker 3: train station in France, or excuse me, in Barcelona, but
- 1:23:34Speaker 3: they only speak French. And they said, my father's friend, Denis,
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: told us he was going to get candy and he
- 1:23:42Speaker 3: never came back. They're just left there at the train station.
- 1:23:45Speaker 3: And so they take them into like child services. Eventually
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: a couple adopts them who had happened to have three miscarriages.
- 1:23:53Speaker 3: So they adopt these three kids. And where we pick
- 1:23:56Speaker 3: up in the documentary is the daughter of the three
- 1:24:00Speaker 3: has her own child. And she's like, I have to
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: find out what happened to my parents. So it's her
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: exploration of like, why did we get dropped off? Who
- 1:24:07Speaker 3: are our parents? Very good. The other one, it's on Netflix.
- 1:24:11Speaker 3: It's called The Accidental Twins. So a woman's working in
- 1:24:15Speaker 3: an office in Colombia, and she goes into the country
- 1:24:20Speaker 3: over the weekend. And she's like, that guy looks just
- 1:24:23Speaker 3: like my coworker. So she's waving to him. It's at
- 1:24:25Speaker 3: a butcher. She's waving to him, and he's just sort
- 1:24:28Speaker 3: of like, hey, weirdo. And then the next week, she
- 1:24:30Speaker 3: goes back to her office that next week and said,
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: I saw you at the butcher. And the guy's like,
- 1:24:36Speaker 3: what are you talking about? I don't work there. She said,
- 1:24:38Speaker 3: this man looks exactly like you. It's so crazy. So
- 1:24:40Speaker 3: she goes back. And she approaches him and says, I
- 1:24:44Speaker 3: have a coworker that looks exactly like you. She finds
- 1:24:46Speaker 3: out his name. She goes back to the office and says,
- 1:24:49Speaker 3: this is his name. You have to see him on
- 1:24:51Speaker 3: social media. It looks just like you. So her coworker,
- 1:24:55Speaker 3: who is a twin, looks at this man's Facebook and
- 1:24:59Speaker 3: starts looking through the album. And he's also a twin.
- 1:25:04Speaker 3: And that twin looks exactly like his twin.
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: So wait, what the fuck is it?
- 1:25:09Speaker 3: They were switched at the hospital. So, you know, they
- 1:25:13Speaker 3: switched at birth stories. So wait, you have a set
- 1:25:15Speaker 3: of twins.
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: They were identical twins, but then they went home with
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: another baby that wasn't really their twin.
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:25:22Speaker 3: And when you look at the picture, you're sort of like, oh.
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: And so then they went home and they're like, oh,
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: our babies are.
- 1:25:28Speaker 3: They were born a day apart. And the first set
- 1:25:30Speaker 3: of twins had a child that was sick. They were
- 1:25:33Speaker 3: born in the country. So they had to go into
- 1:25:34Speaker 3: the city and it was at the city hospital. The
- 1:25:37Speaker 3: next day, the other twins are born. Something happened in
- 1:25:39Speaker 3: the hospital, and one of the twin in each family
- 1:25:43Speaker 3: got switched by accident. So imagine finding out you have
- 1:25:48Speaker 3: a twin.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: So the guy thought the twin he grew up with
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: wasn't even his brother.
- 1:25:54Speaker 3: No, he thought he was like a fraternal brother.
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: Right, but in reality, they weren't even related.
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: No.
- 1:26:01Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:26:02Speaker 3: In reality, he has a twin brother that is an
- 1:26:04Speaker 3: identical twin. That grew up somewhere else. So he grew
- 1:26:08Speaker 3: up thinking he was a fraternal twin.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:26:11Speaker 3: He was actually an identical twin.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: That is amazing. I definitely want to see that one.
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: And where can they follow you?
- 1:26:20Speaker 3: Okay, so you have to go to katecasey.substack.com where you
- 1:26:23Speaker 3: get the weekly list of what to watch. And then
- 1:26:26Speaker 3: you can find me on socials, Instagram, at katecaseyca, TikTok,
