Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_01: Listen, I don't expect everyone to launch out of bed in the morning and put their feet on the ground and be like, woo!
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: I used to not be that person until this job.
- 0:09SPEAKER_00: This and it took me a while to make it.
- 0:11SPEAKER_01: And when you get to come in here with this, oh my god, come on, who's not excited?
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: Yes, I wake up going, Today's the day.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: An hour till I get to see Scuff.
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: But the reality to it is, there's a difference between people, and I really despise people that hide behind the I'm not a morning person or I'm a B in the morning or this and that.
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: That is a learned behavior and a choice that you decide to make.
- 0:33SPEAKER_01: You may not wake up and instantaneously say, let's do calisthenics, but you don't have to be cruel to the people around you.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Being quiet, I think, is the better option.
- 0:45SPEAKER_01: It's the better option.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: But this six-year-old, the problem with this mom that she's having is her six-year-old is throwing a tantrum for everything getting out of food.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: Uh, you know, what the whole deal arguing all the way out the door.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: And I have to tell you, you have to be the one right now, right now, to change that and put an end to that and put your foot down, or this is going to become a learned behavior and they're going to carry it with them forever and wait till they get the last years of middle school and high school.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: Even the mom said, I have tried everything.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: Is there something that I can do?
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: Samantha says, I agree with Scott.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: You need to take a no BS approach.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: This is what we're doing.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: Let's do it, or consequences follow.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: Another one, you can't allow a six-year-old to run the house.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: And it sounds like she is.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: Not being a morning person is a cop out at six and at 36.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: It's true.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: Uh, let's see.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: Let me okay.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, spot on Scott.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: I uh I've been a daycare provider for 20 plus years.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: Let me tell you, kids are so different now than when I started the those years ago.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: Uh coddled, babied literally all my work all week down the drain.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: Monday hits pure torture, getting them back into the routine that parents need to do better.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: I I want to also make sure that you I will agree with you, you should explore for a minute or two what the emotion is behind this.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: And, you know, that way you at least acknowledge, you know, are you having a feeling of some kind?
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: But if this is just you being cranky the way that you're, you know, the you're just, I mean, if there was a different situation, like if they were getting up and they were having these feelings because they were a little bit older and they were getting bullied or something like that, right?
- 2:35SPEAKER_01: You you need to explore that and figure that out.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: But you also need at a young age to be able to set the tone of like, no, this is not gonna be tolerated.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: I also think a little bit of it is separation anxiety.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: It's their first time going to school, and and I don't know if they're always like this, but this is still uh it's different for them.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: And this is exactly where we have to say, yes, how are you feeling about this?
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: But because this is their separate, I think it's separation anxiety, because if that is what it is, well then you're right.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: You have you do have to say, Oh, we got years ahead of this.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: So long road here.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: You're gonna want to be separated from me by the time you're 13.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: That's awesome.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: Three, two, one.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: Let's take this Scott and Allie.
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: Scott and Allie's big three.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: Isn't that the truth?
- 3:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well, yeah.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: The big three brought to you by E and V Energy.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: Even Scott said, I smelled colderness today.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I didn't quite smell fall yet.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: You know, that rot that begins to settle into the uh air that all women like.
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: The rot.
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: The rot of the leaves.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: But we know we're gonna be turning the heat on pretty soon, so make sure you call E and V Energy for propane, um, a heating oil, kerosene, they can deliver to you, and you're actually gonna talk to a person on the phone.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: Isn't that crazy?
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: So crazy.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: I know, right?
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: Amazon is facing a nationwide class action lawsuit from four former warehouse employees who claim the company systematically discriminates against pregnant staff members.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: The lawsuit was officially filed in Brooklyn, and the plaintiffs argue that Amazon penalizes workers for taking breaks to pump milk or attend hospital appointments while withholding standard workplace adjustments.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: They claim the company is violating the 2022 Pregnant Workers' Fairness Act.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: And a Republican Wisconsin gubernatorial nominee, Representative Tom Tiffany, he sustained minor injuries after his small plane lost power and made an emergency landing.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: Tiffany said the pilot, so uh Tiffany, I'm sorry, and the pilot swam to a nearby sandbank before rescuers arrived.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: He received stitches above his right eye before being released.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: The FAA is investigating the crash.
- 4:43SPEAKER_01: Sounds like he's lucky to be alive.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: Oh, for sure.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: I'm uh yeah, yeah.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: And I didn't think Trump was a drinker, but he hears you when you're talking Irish whiskey.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: He visited Ireland and while he was there, lifted the tariff on Irish whiskey.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: So he presented the trophy at the Irish Open Golf Tournament, and then he announced right then and there Let's do shots! I'm gonna I'm gonna rescind the 10% tariff on the Irish spirit, saying, Everybody's been bugging me about it.
- 5:17SPEAKER_01: I mean, besides that and potatoes, what else are they putting out?
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: Including Redheads, the tournament winner, he's also been bugging him.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: Shane Lowry asked him to rescind the 10% too.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: And there is the big three.
