- 0:49Speaker 3: I Uh, I apologize if I speak a little loud today.
- 0:53Speaker 3: I'm using some new headphones today. I'm testing them out,
- 0:59Speaker 3: trying to be a more professional podcaster streamer. Uh, person,
- 1:06Speaker 3: I don't know you're streaming. No, No, I'm just I
- 1:09Speaker 3: got I have really good I just I I I
- 1:12Speaker 3: invest and not even invested. I've had these headphones forever,
- 1:14Speaker 3: I just never used them. But with the voice acting stuff,
- 1:19Speaker 3: it's like, hey, like, if I'm gonna be recording stuff
- 1:22Speaker 3: and editing stuff, I want to make sure I can
- 1:23Speaker 3: hear the littlest, tiniest things like, for example, uh, the
- 1:29Speaker 3: pod by the way, choke Scantina, Hi, para department host? Hey,
- 1:34Speaker 3: O G. Patron's here. Hi, What's what's drinking? Polar Seltzer lime?
- 1:40Speaker 3: Because I've been too many fucking DC's today, I I recorded, Uh,
- 1:46Speaker 3: what was it too. Yeah, the last episodes two O
- 1:48Speaker 3: four and this is two O five.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Two five live five.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Live, not live, well sort of live. This will be up.
- 1:57Speaker 3: This is this podcast will be up very trill after
- 1:59Speaker 3: we record this, because I been it's been late. I'm sorry,
- 2:01Speaker 3: I've been busy. Thankfully, I was recording the last podcast
- 2:08Speaker 3: and I kind of told you a little bit. I've
- 2:10Speaker 3: kind of like gotten into watches a little bit recently,
- 2:13Speaker 3: and uh, I was recording and I kept going, what
- 2:19Speaker 3: I essentially I wear a watch every day now, and
- 2:24Speaker 3: I'm like, what the fuck is that noise? I kept
- 2:25Speaker 3: like hearing like a little like a little click, like
- 2:27Speaker 3: a little tick, like a little click. I'm like, what
- 2:29Speaker 3: the I'm like, I'm like, was I playing with a pen?
- 2:31Speaker 3: I mean, of course, my eighty h gs that make
- 2:33Speaker 3: total sense. No, it was really just the one of
- 2:37Speaker 3: my watches, the fucking uh fob whatever we call it,
- 2:40Speaker 3: was just kept ticking. It was just my watch, the
- 2:43Speaker 3: second hand Thank you Jesus. Yeah, I'm new with this people.
- 2:47Speaker 3: So yeah, that's what it was. And thankfully, thankfully I
- 2:49Speaker 3: was I was able to edit out most of it. Yeah,
- 2:55Speaker 3: it Uh, I'm glad.
- 2:56Speaker 4: I'm not wearing my watch then, because I.
- 2:58Speaker 3: No, no, no, I mean it was fine, it was
- 2:59Speaker 3: it was so you know, it was good. It was
- 3:01Speaker 3: a good episode. You were in it, but like and
- 3:04Speaker 3: like you didn't even notice it either, But like I'm
- 3:05Speaker 3: just like because I'm like, there'll be parts, so it's
- 3:07Speaker 3: like maybe like we're talking lightly talking, slowly talking chilly,
- 3:11Speaker 3: that's not even a recent to use it. And I'm like,
- 3:14Speaker 3: what is that ticking? And then like literally before we
- 3:16Speaker 3: started this podcast, it just happened. I'd be happened wearing
- 3:18Speaker 3: that same fucking watch, and I'm like, wait a minute,
- 3:22Speaker 3: wait a minute, ship, here we go again. What are
- 3:27Speaker 3: you drinking? As I scream drinking? Shit, No, nothing wrong
- 3:32Speaker 3: with that.
- 3:32Speaker 4: I ain't got no drink.
- 3:33Speaker 3: You ain't got no drink, and got no drink. You
- 3:35Speaker 3: ain't got no drink, Get a drink, ain't got no job,
- 3:38Speaker 3: you ain't got ship. Now you got a dropping out
- 3:40Speaker 3: of that, Go get a drink really quick. You don't
- 3:44Speaker 3: have to unless you're parch. How's things? How's life?
- 3:47Speaker 4: How? Oh?
- 3:49Speaker 3: How how goes it? Sir?
- 3:54Speaker 4: Lots of things have been going on since the last
- 3:56Speaker 4: time on the pod. One of them most eventful and
- 4:01Speaker 4: memorable things. As recently, got talked into going and trying
- 4:06Speaker 4: out a little a little bit of pro wrestling. Uh,
- 4:10Speaker 4: getting the taste, getting a little tasted taste of it.
- 4:13Speaker 4: You gotta taste.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Now, they like snap their fingers the club. I forget it.
- 4:18Speaker 4: That does not sound like you're snapping fingers, dog, That
- 4:20Speaker 4: sounds like you're you're so reaching around under the desk.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Take a few bumps.
- 4:26Speaker 4: And I did take a few bumps. I took maybe
- 4:28Speaker 4: thirty ish bumps all told. Uh, got in the ring.
- 4:34Speaker 4: It was in the storage unit. Shout out to the
- 4:37Speaker 4: b M f X Wrestling gentlemen. That's the that's the
- 4:44Speaker 4: the Federation, as it were, the company up the Lafayette
- 4:50Speaker 4: here and you got the little practice ring and the
- 4:54Speaker 4: storage unit, you know, behind the same club. About as
- 5:01Speaker 4: about as good as you as it gets for a
- 5:04Speaker 4: smooth company like that, I suppose. But yeah, I borrowed
- 5:07Speaker 4: some wrestling shoes from the buddy that talked me into it.
- 5:11Speaker 4: They were a little big, but not bad. Got in
- 5:14Speaker 4: the ring, bounced around a little bit, and the old
- 5:17Speaker 4: guy train air, he was like, all right, let's take
- 5:19Speaker 4: a few back bumps. I'm like, already Okay, So you
- 5:24Speaker 4: get you get yourself ready, you throw yourself back, and
- 5:28Speaker 4: it feels different than anything then you're used to, right,
- 5:31Speaker 4: because the body naturally you want to catch yourself. You
- 5:34Speaker 4: don't want to make the contact. But as I'm told,
- 5:37Speaker 4: it's like, that's how you get hurt. You know, that's
- 5:40Speaker 4: how you end up breaking your wrist or doing something
- 5:42Speaker 4: to your elbow. And so I'm getting used to it.
- 5:45Speaker 4: At first, they have me like grab the ropes and
- 5:47Speaker 4: do a little squat down and try to throw myself back.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Quickly learn that like, yeah, it's unlike anything that you've
- 5:54Speaker 4: been trained to do, because the idea is you want
- 5:58Speaker 4: to throw your hips up to the sky. I get
- 6:00Speaker 4: your legs up and take all of it on your back,
- 6:03Speaker 4: your shoulders and catch yourself with your arms by the
- 6:07Speaker 4: flat you know, not too far, reaching back and everything.
- 6:11Speaker 4: So I get get the taste of it a little bit.
- 6:13Speaker 4: I'm getting better. I'm getting better. They're saying, hey, you're
- 6:15Speaker 4: doing really good for your first try. All right, let's
- 6:18Speaker 4: take a break from that. Let's do some front bumps.
- 6:20Speaker 4: And I'm like, okay, what's the front bump? Am I
- 6:22Speaker 4: gonna land on my front? No?
- 6:24Speaker 3: We're gonna get it, like you hear you even hear
- 6:26Speaker 3: about wrestling fan. The rest of it is whatever about
- 6:28Speaker 3: back bumps, right.
- 6:31Speaker 4: But then you think about like a hip toss and
- 6:33Speaker 4: a souplex. It's like you gotta train yourself to flip
- 6:38Speaker 4: forward basically. And so they get out this box that
- 6:40Speaker 4: you kind of use for like a box jump situation.
- 6:42Speaker 4: They set it up in the ring and you kind
- 6:45Speaker 4: of have to do the summersault over it, planting your
- 6:48Speaker 4: hands on it, getting your head down and flipping over it.
- 6:52Speaker 4: And that was a trip because you know how often
- 6:55Speaker 4: in your life are you upside down? Like you know,
- 6:58Speaker 4: I didn't do gymnastics a kid, You didn't do gymnastics.
- 7:02Speaker 4: So the idea of flipping forward, Oh, you're right, I
- 7:08Speaker 4: have seen you do a full backflip gainer four fifty.
- 7:11Speaker 3: You know I could do a fucking four to fifty splash.
- 7:14Speaker 4: Well, it took me back to all the times on
- 7:15Speaker 4: the trampolines and ship when we were a kid, when
- 7:19Speaker 4: we're like just falling down like it's no big deal
- 7:21Speaker 4: because we know we're gonna get bounced back up and
- 7:23Speaker 4: there's like a soft landing, and like, to be honest,
- 7:27Speaker 4: chuck the ring like all that shit. It didn't hurt,
- 7:29Speaker 4: you know, it didn't feel like, oh fuck, I fucked
- 7:32Speaker 4: myself up to the part that hurt the most was,
- 7:37Speaker 4: you know, as as you know, watching it, you know
- 7:39Speaker 4: and learning about it, like you're you're you're supposed to
- 7:42Speaker 4: tuck your chin down, right.
- 7:45Speaker 3: You get it. You gotta chuck.
- 7:46Speaker 2: You gotta took that chin.
- 7:47Speaker 4: Brother, took your chean brother. But that was the hardest
- 7:50Speaker 4: part because as you're getting that embracing it and you
- 7:55Speaker 4: hit the ring, your neck kind of goes back and forth,
- 7:57Speaker 4: almost like a whiplash effect. You're trying to hold it still.
- 8:01Speaker 4: That's the hardest part. And after all everything was said
- 8:05Speaker 4: and done, like the next few days, that was the
- 8:07Speaker 4: sorest part. I didn't have any bruises on my back
- 8:10Speaker 4: like you think you would from going off the ropes
- 8:13Speaker 4: or whatever. It was my neck and then like the
- 8:16Speaker 4: inner muscles of my neck from keeping that so tight.
- 8:22Speaker 4: But yeah, so trying the front bumps over the the box.
- 8:26Speaker 4: You're trying it, You're doing it. I keep kind of
- 8:28Speaker 4: landing to the side because I'm like when I'm upside down,
- 8:32Speaker 4: my body is still wanting and naturally, like Okay, we
- 8:35Speaker 4: gotta we gotta figure this out. We got to catch yourselves.
- 8:37Speaker 4: But you get better and you get better, and the
- 8:40Speaker 4: biggest advice was just like, don't overthink it, just do it,
- 8:43Speaker 4: you know. And that was the thing. Like, at a
- 8:45Speaker 4: certain point, I'm getting psyched up. I'm jumping up and
- 8:48Speaker 4: down and then going right into the front bump, and
- 8:50Speaker 4: I'm starting to get there. And the guys are super encouraging.
- 8:53Speaker 4: They're like, yeah, you're doing pretty good for your first try.
- 8:55Speaker 4: You're doing fucking You're getting there, You're getting close. There's
- 8:58Speaker 4: this guy Tyler who's uh, pretty big on the in
- 9:04Speaker 4: the companies around Lafayette and smaller towns in Indiana, Tyler Cannon.
- 9:10Speaker 4: If you want to look him up. He's he's he's
- 9:12Speaker 4: got it.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Uh.
- 9:14Speaker 4: So after that, I, you know, I took a break. Actually,
- 9:20Speaker 4: this is when they had me run the ropes a bit.
- 9:22Speaker 4: And man, let me tell you that felt fucking good.
- 9:25Speaker 4: I gotta say that felt that felt fucking good to
- 9:29Speaker 4: get going to learn how to like put one arm
- 9:31Speaker 4: back around the ropes, put your other arm down to
- 9:34Speaker 4: catch the middle rope, stop and turn at a certain
- 9:37Speaker 4: distance from the ropes, and like really lean into it.
- 9:39Speaker 4: It felt like a trampoline, but standing up and and
- 9:42Speaker 4: then he fucking he start getting some speed, you get
- 9:44Speaker 4: the rhythm down. That felt fucking good. I gotta tell you.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Well, you heard this really quick start. You've heard this
- 9:49Speaker 3: story about brock lesnar or his first summer the ropes, right.
- 9:53Speaker 4: No, I haven't actually that he just follow right through.
- 9:57Speaker 3: Yeah, he didn't, basically said he did put his arm out.
- 10:00Speaker 3: He just ran it like most people would without guidance.
- 10:03Speaker 3: And I think it was Orton his said famously or
- 10:06Speaker 3: someone else that in that class that he literally fell
- 10:08Speaker 3: through the second and the second and top rope and
- 10:11Speaker 3: like went like three because of how fucking big he
- 10:13Speaker 3: is first off, especially then he flew like four or
- 10:16Speaker 3: five rows back into a bunch of fucking metal chairs
- 10:18Speaker 3: and tumbled over them and shit, and then you know him,
- 10:21Speaker 3: he just got up and left.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I can see it, dude, And I honestly was
- 10:28Speaker 4: worried about that. Like, once I started getting the rhythm
- 10:30Speaker 4: down and put some more speed behind it, I can
- 10:32Speaker 4: see like, if you don't catch yourself, there's nothing to
- 10:35Speaker 4: catch you. Like, if you're not hitting the reps it
- 10:37Speaker 4: the right way, you could definitely fall right through it. Yeah,
- 10:40Speaker 4: but I don't know what it was. I just felt
- 10:42Speaker 4: I felt, I felt it, and I felt good doing it,
- 10:45Speaker 4: Like I got the rhythm down and like, yeah, I
- 10:48Speaker 4: can see it. And so that was that was the
- 10:50Speaker 4: hardest part, was getting those bumps down really because like
- 10:54Speaker 4: it's it's a completely different physical thing. Like you you
- 11:00Speaker 4: really have to be intentional with how how far are
- 11:04Speaker 4: you're throwing your hips.
- 11:05Speaker 5: Up and anyway, So I stopped running the ropes, I
- 11:10Speaker 5: you know, I you know, I went out, got some
- 11:14Speaker 5: water and everything, and I started watching my buddy Mike
- 11:16Speaker 5: and this guy Tyler put together a little bit of
- 11:19Speaker 5: a match because they got a Mike Scott his debut
- 11:22Speaker 5: coming up, and.
- 11:23Speaker 4: They're gonna work a match. And dude, I gotta tell you,
- 11:27Speaker 4: Like I thought I was hitting the ring hard. But
- 11:29Speaker 4: then my buddy Mike, who's like up there, he's over
- 11:32Speaker 4: three hundred pounds and he's a solid dude. Wrestled in
- 11:36Speaker 4: high school, did a bit of a wrestling training, actually
- 11:39Speaker 4: trained with Dan Severn and his gym. So he's got
- 11:43Speaker 4: his ship. He knows his ship. And and man, when
- 11:47Speaker 4: I tell you, when he took his his bumps to
- 11:51Speaker 4: get warmed up. It sounded like fucking thunder in that
- 11:54Speaker 4: place because you're you got the ring, right, but then
- 11:58Speaker 4: you got the metal walls like the storage unit asked
- 12:01Speaker 4: place that they got, and dude, the sound just reverberated
- 12:05Speaker 4: and I was like, fuck, I wasn't trying at all,
- 12:07Speaker 4: like I was not, like I'm fifteen, but yeah, dude,
- 12:13Speaker 4: he he was going hard. And then I watched them
- 12:15Speaker 4: put their match together, calling some spots. The trainer's gonna
- 12:19Speaker 4: kind of be Mike's manager, his heel manager. So they
- 12:23Speaker 4: were working some spots there where they were like, all right,
- 12:26Speaker 4: now get him the ropes and then distract the ref.
- 12:29Speaker 4: And then this guy Tony the trainer, he's gonna come
- 12:33Speaker 4: by and hit him and hit Tyler in the face
- 12:35Speaker 4: with the cane or whatever, and uh, they were working
- 12:38Speaker 4: the spots, and then you know, Tyler had this cool
- 12:41Speaker 4: spot where he had Mic in the corner and I
- 12:44Speaker 4: was doing sort of like almost a rope assisted set
- 12:47Speaker 4: of elbows, like he would hit the ropes like a springboard,
- 12:49Speaker 4: but then go to the side and hit these elbows
- 12:53Speaker 4: in the corner, and that was sick. And then they're
- 12:55Speaker 4: working Mike's finish which is going to be a cobra
- 12:58Speaker 4: clutch as move with on the mat with like the
- 13:03Speaker 4: leg grapevind and it's they're going to do the spot
- 13:07Speaker 4: where the ref like lifts some lifts the arms up
- 13:09Speaker 4: and they go limp and ship and I don't know.
- 13:12Speaker 3: It was cool.
- 13:13Speaker 4: And then they got back in there and we're doing
- 13:16Speaker 4: some more back bumps, and then I took my first move.
- 13:19Speaker 4: They to help with those front bumps of flips, and
- 13:24Speaker 4: Tyler and Mike gave me a double double hip toss
- 13:27Speaker 4: out of the corner. So I got up in the
- 13:29Speaker 4: air and then a little little flip and I was like,
- 13:33Speaker 4: oh shit, that fucking helped, right, fucking helped. But but yeah, man,
- 13:40Speaker 4: I felt good afterwards, and uh, you know, I haven't
- 13:44Speaker 4: made up my mind fully if I want to keep
- 13:46Speaker 4: going and do a tryout and everything. But man, let
- 13:49Speaker 4: me tell you. When I got home, I fucking crashed.
- 13:52Speaker 4: I was like, oh, yeah, here comes the adrenaline is
- 13:55Speaker 4: wearing off. Uh yeah, all right, babe, I'm done. I'm
- 13:59Speaker 4: done for the night. Took a hot shower and myself
- 14:02Speaker 4: a little drink, had some food, and I was like, yeah,
- 14:05Speaker 4: we're gonna call it the next few days, it was
- 14:10Speaker 4: not as stiff as I thought it was. But yeah,
- 14:11Speaker 4: my neck was the biggest thing. And again I didn't
- 14:15Speaker 4: I didn't take any I didn't hit my head, I
- 14:18Speaker 4: didn't do anything crazy. But yeah, muscles that you never
- 14:22Speaker 4: really have to use. I see how people get whiplashed
- 14:25Speaker 4: so easily because it's like, yeah, you never have to
- 14:27Speaker 4: really keep your fucking head stable like you do in
- 14:31Speaker 4: these situations. So yeah, all in all, it's fucking awesome.
- 14:36Speaker 4: And if anything, I just want to go back and
- 14:40Speaker 4: run the ropes.
- 14:40Speaker 3: Dude, that's the thing. Whatever you decide to do, bro,
- 14:43Speaker 3: Like I mean, you're'm gonna support you. But like it's
- 14:45Speaker 3: like most where it's like usually say you did it,
- 14:47Speaker 3: you know, like you I took like I you say, hey,
- 14:51Speaker 3: I took a bump, because I mean, you know, you know,
- 14:55Speaker 3: there's this I forget the guys. There's this one guy
- 14:57Speaker 3: in social media his ships. So I honestly thing, and
- 15:00Speaker 3: again I don't mean this as an insult. I just
- 15:02Speaker 3: remember seeing videos of him like six months ago, and
- 15:04Speaker 3: now it's like, Okay, the guy clearly has put on
- 15:06Speaker 3: weight for for the fucking gimmick. This guy will do
- 15:09Speaker 3: like he'll he'll put up like sports videos of like
- 15:12Speaker 3: these like amazing athletes, and I think, actually I think
- 15:14Speaker 3: he did. One of was like a wrestling one where
- 15:16Speaker 3: the guy like not like a bodge, I mean even
- 15:19Speaker 3: I fucking hate that word, but like these like athletes
- 15:22Speaker 3: will make them the tiniest mistake, you know, and literally
- 15:26Speaker 3: this guy the guy every time, like you know, the
- 15:28Speaker 3: botch or the accident will happen, and then it cuts
- 15:30Speaker 3: to him on the couch with food on his gut,
- 15:33Speaker 3: not like on a plate on his gut and he goes,
- 15:35Speaker 3: what a fucking loser? Like it's it's funny as shit.
- 15:41Speaker 3: I'm I can't tell you how many times Caitlin and
- 15:43Speaker 3: I have sent those each other those videos because they
- 15:45Speaker 3: are fucking hilarious. But it's like, how many, like you know,
- 15:48Speaker 3: how many I mean myself include how many wrestling fans
- 15:50Speaker 3: be like, oh what the fuck? The fuck do you
- 15:52Speaker 3: fuck that? It's like, hey, shit happens, like, uh, for example,
- 15:56Speaker 3: did I really don't watch I mean, I'm I said,
- 15:59Speaker 3: I still follow wrestling and stuff like that, I don't
- 16:02Speaker 3: watch it a lot live anymore just because I don't
- 16:04Speaker 3: have the time. I watched the PLS the pay per
- 16:06Speaker 3: views and ship like that. But did you see uh
- 16:09Speaker 3: this previous Monday.
- 16:10Speaker 4: The uh the headbutt of doom?
- 16:14Speaker 3: Yes, thank you, God damn.
- 16:16Speaker 4: So for those listening, God damn.
- 16:18Speaker 3: And here's the thing, here's the thing I want to
- 16:20Speaker 3: make clear. By all accounts, they're fine, how they they're
- 16:26Speaker 3: they're posedly their concussion protocol. But they haven't give they
- 16:29Speaker 3: haven't made down with the concussion. Thank god. They're a
- 16:32Speaker 3: segment of Second Higher attacking Live Morgan from behind and
- 16:36Speaker 3: she is talking to her partner Rick cal Rodriguez. I know.
- 16:41Speaker 3: But here's the thing. They watched the video. It's not
- 16:44Speaker 3: even thirty seconds long. I'm I'm not. I'm shocked with
- 16:49Speaker 3: how much concussion is a sensitive subject. Think. By the way,
- 16:52Speaker 3: thank god, mind you with how much like a sensitive
- 16:54Speaker 3: topic it is today. They didn't edit the sound out.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Oh my god, you everyone. I remember when I first
- 17:01Speaker 3: I was literally I was. I was in the gym, brother,
- 17:03Speaker 3: I was getting I was getting my my pothus up, dude,
- 17:05Speaker 3: but I was literally in the gym, and I think, uh,
- 17:09Speaker 3: you unfortunately never met him. It was my old college buddy, Adam.
- 17:13Speaker 3: He he actually was the one who got me into podcasting.
- 17:16Speaker 3: He did the over the Top row podcasts that Marquete
- 17:18Speaker 3: shout out, and I took over when he left, and
- 17:21Speaker 3: then I don't remember how I think. I don't know
- 17:22Speaker 3: if he wants to go over when I left. Unfortunately,
- 17:24Speaker 3: I think we try to get one person. Anyway, moving
- 17:26Speaker 3: on to the point rambling on and he texted me
- 17:28Speaker 3: He's like, did you see the headbutt? Like what, No,
- 17:31Speaker 3: I'm in the gym, and then he just and then
- 17:33Speaker 3: he literally goes like just go on Twitter or sorry,
- 17:36Speaker 3: go on KS and I literally went on there and
- 17:38Speaker 3: literally I have to search. It was the first thing
- 17:40Speaker 3: that came up and I fucking heard it and I
- 17:43Speaker 3: literally my first again, here's the thing, it's rare. It's
- 17:47Speaker 3: rare unless it's like a death match that like fans
- 17:49Speaker 3: like myself for o G page and literally cringe. I
- 17:53Speaker 3: literally cringed, and I'm like, that's fucked. And it was
- 17:56Speaker 3: a complete accident in mind you yes, one act. And
- 18:00Speaker 3: then the next day they put the and here's the thing,
- 18:03Speaker 3: here's how you I'm like, okay, they're gonna take it
- 18:04Speaker 3: out because they finally they finally uploaded it on lock
- 18:08Speaker 3: excuse me, on like YouTube. I think like the following day,
- 18:12Speaker 3: and I'm like, they totally, they totally took it out.
- 18:14Speaker 3: That's why it took us long. No, nope, it's in there.
- 18:18Speaker 4: It's in there.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Why not?
- 18:20Speaker 4: And then there's little if Everybody's okay?
- 18:22Speaker 3: And then there's it looks like a badass, and then
- 18:25Speaker 3: there's photos of the giant literal Weltz on living It looks.
- 18:28Speaker 4: Like a fucking hematoma. It looks like she needs to
- 18:30Speaker 4: go get that ship drained.
- 18:32Speaker 3: It's already gone, by the way. But again, that ship literally,
- 18:39Speaker 3: like I'm not joking, I say it literally looks like
- 18:41Speaker 3: a fucking alien. It looks like a fucking alien. Burst.
- 18:44Speaker 4: This sound, dude, this sound is crazy. Like imagine those
- 18:46Speaker 4: videos of mountain goats fucking ramming each other. It's like
- 18:52Speaker 4: straight up skull on skull, And I'm like, how is
- 18:54Speaker 4: everybody okay? Are still?
- 18:57Speaker 3: After they exod slide heads, they do a thing where
- 19:01Speaker 3: Stephanie has to throw live into it TV. Now, obviously
- 19:05Speaker 3: she like protacked herself a little bit, but like she
- 19:07Speaker 3: has to, she has to make it look good where
- 19:09Speaker 3: she hits a TV hard enough where it actually crashes out.
- 19:13Speaker 4: But like it's like the scary thing for me is
- 19:17Speaker 4: when Stephanie goes to pick her up and she's like
- 19:20Speaker 4: wobbling and not really going with and I'm like, oh no, yeah,
- 19:24Speaker 4: fucking that's yeah. I mean, everybody's good.
- 19:28Speaker 3: If the sound was even if you watch this, if
- 19:31Speaker 3: you watch it with the sound off, it just looks
- 19:33Speaker 3: like the rest. But you see her trying to pick
- 19:35Speaker 3: her up.
- 19:35Speaker 4: You're like, uh, what, Well, So here's the thing, right,
- 19:40Speaker 4: here's the thing big picture. Going into Mania, that match
- 19:45Speaker 4: felt like it didn't have nearly as much heat as
- 19:49Speaker 4: some of the other programs. Correct Now it fucking does.
- 19:53Speaker 4: Now it's got a little sauce on it.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Well, here here's what Actually, here's the thing hindsight, it's
- 19:59Speaker 3: actually like it's been more intriguing now because like the
- 20:01Speaker 3: last week or so, this is what rest, this is
- 20:04Speaker 3: what the debue does. Now when the matches aren't like
- 20:06Speaker 3: aren't getting that much hype, they'll do like the whole
- 20:10Speaker 3: let's get real personal. So like you got liv Morgan
- 20:12Speaker 3: talking about her mom like call and calling her like
- 20:14Speaker 3: I mean, I don't I get I can't remember things.
- 20:17Speaker 3: I don't know Spanish. I think she called her mom
- 20:19Speaker 3: a horror like in Spanish and shit like that, like
- 20:21Speaker 3: you know, and then oh, actually okay, And here's the
- 20:23Speaker 3: funniest part. I don't know if this was legit or not.
- 20:29Speaker 3: So if you go on, like, if you like watch
- 20:30Speaker 3: like the clips on social media, oftentimes the creator has
- 20:34Speaker 3: the option to like have captions on or off automatically.
- 20:38Speaker 3: That's a feature that some people have. You can obviously
- 20:41Speaker 3: turn off captions on your own device, but if you
- 20:44Speaker 3: don't have the feature turned off, if the creator wants
- 20:47Speaker 3: you to view it that way, at first, it'll appear.
- 20:51Speaker 3: So I saw the head the head hit again unfortunately
- 20:55Speaker 3: on Instagram and my cap and the caption was on
- 20:59Speaker 3: because seventy the cure starts yelling shit and Spanish at her.
- 21:03Speaker 3: Uh it translated to you fucking bitch. Yeah, Like I'm like, uh, like,
- 21:11Speaker 3: I'm all for it. But at the same time, like,
- 21:14Speaker 3: you know, we're still PG, aren't we, Like what are
- 21:16Speaker 3: we doing?
- 21:16Speaker 4: Apparently apparently if it's in another language, you can say whatever.
- 21:20Speaker 3: You could say, you could say whatever the or fuck it?
- 21:23Speaker 2: What was it?
- 21:23Speaker 4: Uh?
- 21:24Speaker 3: Oh god, what was it?
- 21:25Speaker 4: Uh?
- 21:26Speaker 3: When U Triple A had that Conan promo a couple
- 21:30Speaker 3: of months ago, like he said like fuck like five
- 21:32Speaker 3: times and of course the English commentators are like, I'm
- 21:36Speaker 3: very happy to be here. He did not say that.
- 21:40Speaker 4: Oh yeah, right.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Fucking coded. One of my all time favorite coded moments,
- 21:48Speaker 3: the fucking unrelated to me. There's a fucking craziness going
- 21:52Speaker 3: on the raid, and obviously it's set up for him
- 21:54Speaker 3: to come make the safe where's my fucking music? Turned
- 21:57Speaker 3: out my fucking music, he's waiting, he's waiting for his
- 22:02Speaker 3: fucking theme song, like he's fucking bat No.
- 22:05Speaker 4: I think that was Vampiro, but yeah.
- 22:08Speaker 3: Not called it Vampiro, that was Vampire. Yeah, I'm so sorry.
- 22:12Speaker 4: That's still crazy.
- 22:14Speaker 3: I remember that.
- 22:15Speaker 4: I remember how big of a deal that was. It's like,
- 22:16Speaker 4: play my fucking music, fucking music as if in real life,
- 22:21Speaker 4: like you're seeing your friends get jumped and you I
- 22:23Speaker 4: gotta wait, I gotta wait for the cool moment.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Yeah, because we all know, like, no, no baby face
- 22:27Speaker 3: can make the same until the their theme song hits.
- 22:30Speaker 3: But that's when they're in the fucking back, not when
- 22:32Speaker 3: they're literally at ringside calling fucking commentary.
- 22:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:37Speaker 3: I remember when I saw that. I'm like, like, why
- 22:39Speaker 3: is Vampiro, Like, just take the fucking headset off, go.
- 22:43Speaker 4: In the ring, go in the ring, the play your music.
- 22:45Speaker 3: And some need I need a fucking bat signal? Am
- 22:50Speaker 3: I still? Am I still him?
- 22:53Speaker 2: Am I still enough?
- 22:55Speaker 3: Am I still?
- 22:55Speaker 4: Oh?
- 22:56Speaker 3: My music?
- 22:57Speaker 4: It reminded me of all that, all those times.
- 23:00Speaker 3: I need I need them basic to get them? You're
- 23:02Speaker 3: adrenaline rush, I need you think Goku could do the
- 23:05Speaker 3: spirit bomb with everyone putting their hands in the air. No,
- 23:07Speaker 3: I know, definitely not.
- 23:11Speaker 4: Clearly, you don't know, don't know?
- 23:15Speaker 3: Just look up Vampio theme sot. I guarantee it will
- 23:17Speaker 3: be the first five videos that come up and you'll
- 23:19Speaker 3: laugh your ass off.
- 23:23Speaker 4: Mm hmmmm.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Thank you for correcting me. By the way, it was
- 23:26Speaker 3: vamp and IM pretty sure that even still it was
- 23:28Speaker 3: still Vampire actually for that second too.
- 23:31Speaker 4: Right right, yeah, no ship but uh god, damn well,
- 23:37Speaker 4: we were talking about Mania builds and ship.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Wait but really, I'm sorry before we get to the
- 23:42Speaker 3: Mania builds. But I do want to ask you to,
- 23:46Speaker 3: like I know you said you're kind of debating, and
- 23:47Speaker 3: again I don't obviously don't make a decision now, like
- 23:49Speaker 3: it's like do what you want to do, but like
- 23:51Speaker 3: tell me on the spot. Well no, I mean that's
- 23:53Speaker 3: what we got to do in the podcast, you know,
- 23:55Speaker 3: like you gotta get the person really comfortable and then
- 23:57Speaker 3: like you know, then you got to ambush them. Then
- 23:59Speaker 3: you gotta oh my god, it's super uncomfortable. So that
- 24:02Speaker 3: when so then't I can get the downloads in the views? No,
- 24:05Speaker 3: I'm wondering.
- 24:05Speaker 4: I'm wondering if you have seen the clip that I'm
- 24:08Speaker 4: thinking of right now.
- 24:09Speaker 3: But yeah, anyway, your question and I need what pop
- 24:11Speaker 3: you're thinking of it in a second. Uh so, you
- 24:15Speaker 3: know you said, it's like like how many times have
- 24:17Speaker 3: you gone? Now you've got a couple, like what was
- 24:18Speaker 3: like your fifth or sixth, or you've gone a lot
- 24:20Speaker 3: of actually like.
- 24:22Speaker 4: To the wrestling shit. Yeah, no, actually that was that
- 24:25Speaker 4: was my first time. I thought about it for a
- 24:27Speaker 4: few weeks. Yeah, that was the very first time. And
- 24:31Speaker 4: they were like, yeah, go fucking do the bumps.
- 24:33Speaker 3: I'm like, ah god, okay, yeah.
- 24:35Speaker 4: I thought maybe we'd do something like pull chops or
- 24:38Speaker 4: I mean I stretched a bit, but they were like, yeah,
- 24:40Speaker 4: just go go do it, which I like, I respect
- 24:43Speaker 4: like to be honest, because it's like this is what
- 24:46Speaker 4: you're going to be doing. Try it see if you
- 24:49Speaker 4: like it. And it was kind of like a nut
- 24:51Speaker 4: up or shut up kind of moment, Like I didn't
- 24:54Speaker 4: get the vibe. The guys are super chill, but at
- 24:56Speaker 4: the same time, it's like, yeah, go try it, try
- 24:59Speaker 4: it for I.
- 25:00Speaker 3: Was actually I was gonna ask you, is like what
- 25:02Speaker 3: kind of what was Like? It wasn't gonna be like
- 25:03Speaker 3: a like a question to like make you go uncomfortable.
- 25:06Speaker 3: You know, I'm not gonna do that to you. That's
- 25:08Speaker 3: when we're off Mike kidding, Like what was the vibe like?
- 25:11Speaker 3: Because and that's the thing I think a lot of
- 25:13Speaker 3: people don't really know about because obviously, like you know,
- 25:16Speaker 3: people just think like everyone just walks in the rain,
- 25:18Speaker 3: but like no, like I mean back then, like wrestling schools,
- 25:21Speaker 3: like literally like it was a joke. Like either you
- 25:24Speaker 3: practice like in a random farm in a barn on
- 25:27Speaker 3: just random dirt ground, or you would train it in
- 25:29Speaker 3: a legit boxing rain. That's how half the guys got
- 25:31Speaker 3: fucking hurt because of boxing and ring you're not supposed
- 25:33Speaker 3: to have any give or anything like that. But I
- 25:36Speaker 3: was gonna say, like, like, like what the vibe was, just
- 25:38Speaker 3: like again, like because that's the thing I think, that's
- 25:40Speaker 3: that's so like good about wrestling today is like there
- 25:43Speaker 3: isn't anyone like really how I.
- 25:46Speaker 4: Put it, there's no gatekeepers.
- 25:49Speaker 3: I would say no gatekeepers. But also just like I'm
- 25:51Speaker 3: not gonna say there's no one worried about their spot,
- 25:54Speaker 3: but I think there's so there's so many spots to
- 25:56Speaker 3: give if that makes sense, where it's like if like again,
- 25:59Speaker 3: like for those that don't know, like for examples like
- 26:02Speaker 3: Matt Cardona, like the reason why he was the most
- 26:04Speaker 3: popular indie guy other than the fact he was a
- 26:06Speaker 3: former movie guys because the guy never stopped promoting himself
- 26:10Speaker 3: when yet like there and I hate to say it, uh,
- 26:13Speaker 3: I can't tell, Like there's the classic wrestling clips of
- 26:16Speaker 3: like guys doing the most insane shit going through like
- 26:19Speaker 3: five tables and a bunch of fucking glass tubes and shit,
- 26:23Speaker 3: but then you'll never see them again because they don't
- 26:25Speaker 3: promote themselves. And I think but like I said, like
- 26:27Speaker 3: the it seems like the vibes today at least are
- 26:30Speaker 3: more like kind of like yeah, like, hey, come try
- 26:32Speaker 3: it out, man, whatever happens happens. If you're here next week,
- 26:34Speaker 3: you're here. Otherwise you're not. So I mean, I'm glad
- 26:36Speaker 3: essentially answered the question was.
- 26:37Speaker 4: Gonna ask so well, I mean, but it's a good
- 26:42Speaker 4: question to ask because, like in talking with my buddy Mike,
- 26:44Speaker 4: there's there's different different places of different cultures, right, So
- 26:49Speaker 4: the place here in Lafayette, well, I guess I don't
- 26:52Speaker 4: know if there's more than one, but BMFX for what
- 26:55Speaker 4: I from what I can gather, it's like it's very
- 26:59Speaker 4: much people have their families and that comes first, right, So,
- 27:04Speaker 4: like sometimes there's weeks where you know, there's only a
- 27:08Speaker 4: few guys at the practice. Sometimes they cancel it and
- 27:12Speaker 4: reschedule it. But as far as like what I was told,
- 27:17Speaker 4: it's it's like, man, if you want to come and
- 27:22Speaker 4: try it out, be my guest. If you can't make
- 27:26Speaker 4: it for a few weeks and you want to show
- 27:27Speaker 4: up again, that's cool too. If you want to make
- 27:32Speaker 4: if you want to be like here every week and
- 27:35Speaker 4: work towards getting a spot on the show, that's cool.
- 27:38Speaker 4: If you want to just train and get some reps in,
- 27:43Speaker 4: that's cool too. But like there's other places at least
- 27:45Speaker 4: around Indiana for sure that the culture is like, no,
- 27:49Speaker 4: you have to be here every week, yeah, you, And
- 27:51Speaker 4: if you don't show up then you lose your then
- 27:54Speaker 4: you're gonna we're gonna move on without your kind of thing.
- 27:57Speaker 3: And you'll you'll get like come in our class like nope,
- 27:59Speaker 3: you have five classy the couple days, specific dates and times,
- 28:02Speaker 3: and if you if you if you're if you don't
- 28:03Speaker 3: show up your sol and.
- 28:05Speaker 4: It's and it's I think there's room for both things,
- 28:08Speaker 4: like if you really want to. But again, like people
- 28:12Speaker 4: have lives and people have things that come up, and
- 28:14Speaker 4: like people have their families, right so to me, to me,
- 28:17Speaker 4: that almost makes the decision harder, you know, because it's like, well,
- 28:22Speaker 4: because like my reluctancy is like do I really have
- 28:25Speaker 4: time for this? Do I really have time to commit.
- 28:28Speaker 3: To being at the shows?
- 28:29Speaker 4: Do I really have you know? Do I really want
- 28:33Speaker 4: to make myself available to these people and have them
- 28:36Speaker 4: invest all their time and their energy into training me
- 28:40Speaker 4: and getting me ready and then just not be able
- 28:42Speaker 4: to really follow through with that because I don't want
- 28:44Speaker 4: to disrespect people's time and like maybe that would be
- 28:47Speaker 4: time that they could spend training somebody else and like
- 28:51Speaker 4: so that's it makes it tougher because it's like show
- 28:54Speaker 4: up whenever you want. Well, it's like I if I'm
- 28:57Speaker 4: gonna show up, I want to be able to be
- 29:01Speaker 4: a player, you know what I mean, Like, yeah, contribute,
- 29:04Speaker 4: I want to Yeah, I want to contribute because I
- 29:07Speaker 4: get the idea of like this small company, of like
- 29:10Speaker 4: they don't have a whole lot of people to work.
- 29:12Speaker 3: With and so and I get that the idea is that.
- 29:15Speaker 4: Like we're billing stories, we're trying to bring people in,
- 29:18Speaker 4: you know, we're trying to get people to come watch
- 29:21Speaker 4: the show and put on a good show. And so
- 29:24Speaker 4: so that that's tougher. That makes it tougher to be
- 29:26Speaker 4: honest because if it was like if it was like
- 29:29Speaker 4: a hard commitment, like were we have practices every week
- 29:32Speaker 4: at this time at this time, and like then I
- 29:35Speaker 4: could really like make that decision of like well I
- 29:38Speaker 4: don't have that much time.
- 29:40Speaker 3: To be doing this.
- 29:42Speaker 4: But knowing it's kind of like come as you please,
- 29:45Speaker 4: at least as far as new people are concerned, then
- 29:48Speaker 4: that makes it a little tougher man to be honest
- 29:49Speaker 4: with you. But the vibes are I mean, like, look,
- 29:52Speaker 4: maybe they were just being nice to me because it's
- 29:54Speaker 4: like a new guy and they want to try to
- 29:57Speaker 4: get people to come in. But like I don't. I
- 30:00Speaker 4: don't think it was just for show. I don't think
- 30:02Speaker 4: it was just like a front. I think it's like
- 30:03Speaker 4: genuinely like these people love wrestling and they love the
- 30:07Speaker 4: heart of it, and you know they're more than willing
- 30:11Speaker 4: to welcome somebody who also loves it and wants to learn.
- 30:13Speaker 4: So I mean, on that level, it's it's really yeah,
- 30:18Speaker 4: it's really enticing. But the older dude there, uh Tony
- 30:24Speaker 4: was his name, super sweet guy. But he he said
- 30:28Speaker 4: at the end, it's like I'm not always this nice,
- 30:31Speaker 4: so but I think it was just I think he
- 30:35Speaker 4: was just putting the he feel felt like he had
- 30:38Speaker 4: to say that. He seems like a really chilled dude.
- 30:40Speaker 3: Like like a genuine yeah. Well, because it's like it's
- 30:43Speaker 3: like it's like anything like if you get coach for
- 30:45Speaker 3: something for so long and you're just you just repeatedly
- 30:47Speaker 3: keep making the same mistakes, like like they're gonna get
- 30:50Speaker 3: fucking pissed. Like it sound like they're getting pissed, You're
- 30:55Speaker 3: getting frustrated. It's like, Okay, so what what do I
- 30:56Speaker 3: gotta do to have this kid?
- 30:57Speaker 2: Like what do I do have this kid learned?
- 30:59Speaker 4: Brother? You're like, I mean, yeah, like, dude, as far
- 31:01Speaker 4: as they were saying like they were being super supportive
- 31:04Speaker 4: and saying like I was for a first time.
- 31:05Speaker 3: And never having done it, like I was doing a
- 31:07Speaker 3: really good job. So I don't know, I maybe I
- 31:11Speaker 3: don't know.
- 31:11Speaker 4: I can't explain that so much, Like maybe it was
- 31:14Speaker 4: just a matter of like I was able to just
- 31:17Speaker 4: sort of put into practice from the stuff that I've
- 31:20Speaker 4: been watching my whole life. But even then, like after
- 31:24Speaker 4: having done it, like watching wrestling, like I watched the
- 31:27Speaker 4: New Japan's latest like Big Show, and and I was
- 31:33Speaker 4: like trying to like really look at how people were
- 31:35Speaker 4: taking bumps, and I'm like, man, they make it look
- 31:36Speaker 4: so fucking effortless, you know, and it's.
- 31:41Speaker 3: Just like years and years of practice, hours and hours
- 31:44Speaker 3: is just just bumping right.
- 31:46Speaker 4: And and then you know, even then, like it becomes
- 31:49Speaker 4: muscle memory. So I don't know, I don't know. The
- 31:53Speaker 4: jury is still out. I haven't I got to make
- 31:55Speaker 4: a decision at some point, but I think I'm comfortable
- 31:59Speaker 4: with just mulling it over right now.
- 32:01Speaker 3: Well look forward to hearing you look forward to hearing
- 32:04Speaker 3: the og patron decision, And you.
- 32:08Speaker 4: Know, honestly, then I just gotta get back in the
- 32:10Speaker 4: gym more often anyway, Yeah, see, because that's the thing.
- 32:15Speaker 3: And before we get to the mania stuff, I just
- 32:16Speaker 3: want to say this so like I don't know, like
- 32:19Speaker 3: like I said, I said this in my quote unquote
- 32:23Speaker 3: Comeback podcast episode, or like in my twenties, even during football,
- 32:29Speaker 3: I used to hate going to the gym. I wasn't
- 32:32Speaker 3: the strongest guy, but I wasn't the weakest guy either,
- 32:34Speaker 3: And even in my twenties after football was done, I
- 32:37Speaker 3: just wasn't my thing. But I don't know, Like again,
- 32:39Speaker 3: turn thirty, all of a sudden, I like fish. I
- 32:41Speaker 3: like DC's, I like coffee, and like, now if I
- 32:44Speaker 3: don't go to the gym, like lookly okay, if I
- 32:47Speaker 3: go to the gym, like I have like a not
- 32:49Speaker 3: say like a routine, but I have like hey, like
- 32:51Speaker 3: I like to go this amount of times per week
- 32:53Speaker 3: and do this and stuff like that, and like if
- 32:55Speaker 3: I don't go, like even Kate, like you know, Kate
- 32:56Speaker 3: can kind of tell like, okay, like you need to go,
- 32:58Speaker 3: like blossom seeing me stuff like that. Like so but
- 33:01Speaker 3: also it's like, hey, you also got to like listen again,
- 33:04Speaker 3: not even not even at our age at any age
- 33:06Speaker 3: you listen to your body where so like I haven't
- 33:09Speaker 3: gone to the gym and almost let's say two weeks
- 33:13Speaker 3: if that about two weeks because you know last week
- 33:16Speaker 3: went to go visit shag Zilla for his thirtieth heavy birthday. Yeah,
- 33:22Speaker 3: and then I went. I literally went. So today's were
- 33:26Speaker 3: recordings on a Wednesday, and I went Monday night. Actually
- 33:28Speaker 3: after this episode, I'm gonna go to the gym. You
- 33:30Speaker 3: another work on it. By then I went to the
- 33:32Speaker 3: gym Monday night, came home, went right to bed, and
- 33:34Speaker 3: I've showered. Of course I'm not that cross, and uh, Tuesday,
- 33:39Speaker 3: like my wife is just like, okay, I could tell
- 33:42Speaker 3: you had to go work out. My wife she's like,
- 33:43Speaker 3: cause like when you whenever you go to the gym,
- 33:45Speaker 3: that like just the day after, you're just more giddy,
- 33:47Speaker 3: Like you're just like in a better like that. Like
- 33:49Speaker 3: I'm not happy, but she's like, you're just in a
- 33:50Speaker 3: better place. I'm like really She's like, oh yeah, I'm like,
- 33:52Speaker 3: oh okay, because that's the thing. It's like Monday, like again,
- 33:55Speaker 3: I'm not, as I've alluded too many times on this
- 33:58Speaker 3: podcast previously, like I've gone to my doctor, like I'm healthy, Like,
- 34:02Speaker 3: I'm sure I have my ailments, as any person does
- 34:04Speaker 3: in their life. But he's like, again, he's a Russian guy,
- 34:08Speaker 3: so I'm a very awful Russian impression. You know, I'm
- 34:10Speaker 3: trying to get the voice acting or not trying. I'm
- 34:11Speaker 3: going to get the voice acting. He's like, totals, you're
- 34:14Speaker 3: not fats, but you know, are you a fat? But
- 34:16Speaker 3: you know what? You know healthy, lose some weight. Also
- 34:18Speaker 3: step trying to lift, like you're trying to push three
- 34:21Speaker 3: hundred pund people. You don't do that anymore.
- 34:25Speaker 4: That's a good tip.
- 34:27Speaker 3: It's a very good tip. And like and again, So
- 34:30Speaker 3: Monday night, I literally went to the gym and I
- 34:32Speaker 3: use this app. They don't pay me, so I'm not
- 34:34Speaker 3: going to promote it, but I use this app to
- 34:36Speaker 3: like workouts and stuff like that, and it tracks like
- 34:39Speaker 3: you know your progress and like what you're weak at.
- 34:41Speaker 3: We want to get better than all this ship. And
- 34:44Speaker 3: every so often he'll throw like you a surprise, like
- 34:46Speaker 3: oh hey, it's Max day, and I'm like, fuck me,
- 34:48Speaker 3: like I'm not ready for a Max. Like I ate
- 34:50Speaker 3: like I had I had fucking culvers for lunch or
- 34:53Speaker 3: some shit, you know, what I mean, justs man as
- 34:56Speaker 3: I say, I say, I'm not going to promote a
- 34:58Speaker 3: fucking app. I just promo a fans food company anyway.
- 35:01Speaker 3: I and literally Monday, it's like, oh, hey, not max say,
- 35:06Speaker 3: but it's like, oh hey, last time you did you were,
- 35:08Speaker 3: you worked out, you did your max for this, so
- 35:12Speaker 3: now we're just gonna make this your regular fucking weight.
- 35:14Speaker 4: I'm like, fuck, oh Jesus, that's how that works.
- 35:17Speaker 3: Well, No, because no, because it's smarter than that and
- 35:20Speaker 3: it knows. It's like, because I'm honest with the app,
- 35:22Speaker 3: it's like, oh no, you can lift it, but I
- 35:23Speaker 3: didn't know, And all of a sudden, I'm like, fuck,
- 35:24Speaker 3: I'm like dreading it. I'm like, I'm not joke. You
- 35:27Speaker 3: should First off, you should never go to a workout
- 35:29Speaker 3: dreading it, or like if you're not again, if you're
- 35:31Speaker 3: not feeling it, just don't not say don't fucking work out,
- 35:34Speaker 3: just don't do the thing you want to do, just
- 35:36Speaker 3: do something else.
- 35:38Speaker 2: But I did it.
- 35:39Speaker 3: I'm like, and I did it once. I'm like, oh shit, okay,
- 35:44Speaker 3: and then it said all right, do it again. I'm like,
- 35:46Speaker 3: fuck you okay, and I did it again, and it's like, Okay,
- 35:51Speaker 3: do one more, but do like half the reps. And
- 35:53Speaker 3: I'm like, again, I just go fuck you. And I
- 35:58Speaker 3: did it, and then I went to the sauna and
- 36:01Speaker 3: I'm just like, what the fuck, Like I haven't worked
- 36:03Speaker 3: on like in two weeks. But again it's it's just again,
- 36:06Speaker 3: it's just listening to your body and sometimes try new
- 36:08Speaker 3: things too. But yeah, no, man, I'm just I'm excited
- 36:12Speaker 3: for you. Like I said, like, what even whatever you do,
- 36:14Speaker 3: like even if you do, just do like I don't
- 36:16Speaker 3: off thing? Fuck it? Why not? You know what I mean. Well,
- 36:19Speaker 3: now that we're done with all that, let's get down
- 36:22Speaker 3: to the thing we're deluding to earlier of commitments?
- 36:31Speaker 2: Are you?
- 36:31Speaker 4: I appreciate I appreciate all the kind words.
- 36:33Speaker 3: By the way, No, dude, Like I said, I think
- 36:35Speaker 3: you give me kind of words of the voice acting
- 36:37Speaker 3: and I'm or fags that look out. We give each
- 36:40Speaker 3: other a ton of kind of words throughout our thirty
- 36:43Speaker 3: years of knowing each other. I mean, jesus, let's see,
- 36:45Speaker 3: I mean you gave me, you gave me some kind
- 36:46Speaker 3: of words at this thing called I don't know my wedding.
- 36:49Speaker 4: Uh yeah, it's a pretty big deal.
- 36:52Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a pretty pretty pretty big deal. So
- 36:55Speaker 3: uh so pretty uh pretty happy about that day. So
- 37:00Speaker 3: let's speak a commitment. Let's get into it. So I
- 37:03Speaker 3: wasn't thinking we do just like a wrestle manual preview
- 37:07Speaker 3: or anything like that. I mean, the card's not done,
- 37:11Speaker 3: it's pretty much done. I just think the elephant in
- 37:17Speaker 3: the room has to be addressed that. I'm not even
- 37:20Speaker 3: talking the prices. We'll get to that in a second.
- 37:22Speaker 4: But like.
- 37:25Speaker 3: I'm gonna say this, and if you disagree with me,
- 37:27Speaker 3: feel free to feel free to say your piece. This
- 37:29Speaker 3: is what this platform is for. We're here to have
- 37:31Speaker 3: fun discussions, the good, the bad, and the ugly. I
- 37:35Speaker 3: do think that vincewick Man needed to go no, take
- 37:40Speaker 3: by the way, take away the shit outside going on
- 37:43Speaker 3: with him, take all that shit away, which you can't
- 37:46Speaker 3: and you shouldn't because it's disgusting. Allegedly take all that
- 37:49Speaker 3: shit away. The product was not good. Okay, there's a
- 37:55Speaker 3: reason why another company with a big billionaire guy got
- 37:59Speaker 3: Star in the first place. A lot of it had
- 38:01Speaker 3: to do with the fact that they're I mean, god like,
- 38:06Speaker 3: I I thankfully like I'm not gonna say thankfull, like
- 38:09Speaker 3: you and I grew up during the attitude Arab brother
- 38:11Speaker 3: like like what which some people say is the best
- 38:13Speaker 3: time ever, you know what I mean? And I guess
- 38:16Speaker 3: we're a little biased on that. I think we agree
- 38:18Speaker 3: on that, but like everyone says that to this day.
- 38:23Speaker 3: But the let's say four to five years prior to
- 38:27Speaker 3: like twenty twenty three, twenty two ish, with every it
- 38:34Speaker 3: was got not good, bad, stucked. Yeah, right, and ever since,
- 38:42Speaker 3: like the whole essentially since Tikio took over, like yeah,
- 38:46Speaker 3: like at first, again it's something new, it's exciting, but again,
- 38:50Speaker 3: now here we are with this is now the technically
- 38:53Speaker 3: the fourth no, you could argue the fourth, but for
- 38:59Speaker 3: sure the third straight year now that we're having some
- 39:05Speaker 3: actual corporate involvement where the heads of this company go, no,
- 39:09Speaker 3: change this up, do this for no fucking change it
- 39:12Speaker 3: the last second, very the very last fucking second, and
- 39:17Speaker 3: for the third straight year it's biting them in the
- 39:21Speaker 3: ass to the point now where and actually you can
- 39:24Speaker 3: argue the last two out of three years now they
- 39:27Speaker 3: openly go, Okay, that was a bad idea. Let's change it.
- 39:30Speaker 3: Let's change it again, let's ur or change let's call
- 39:33Speaker 3: it out.
- 39:34Speaker 4: Like, I mean, you literally have one of your we
- 39:36Speaker 4: have a plan. B Oh fuck, we don't have a plan.
- 39:39Speaker 4: B al right, well let's fucking pull some ship together.
- 39:42Speaker 3: Or let's call Dwayne, like you literally have your top
- 39:49Speaker 3: star on Monday Night Raw going out, going lower the
- 39:53Speaker 3: fuck without the fuck lower the ticket prices because again,
- 39:58Speaker 3: so the boy we're trying to make is so wrestling
- 40:01Speaker 3: is not selling as well as it has in years past. Now,
- 40:05Speaker 3: this is something that everyone in their grandmother could see coming.
- 40:07Speaker 3: It's like, Okay, we're supposed to be in New Orleans
- 40:09Speaker 3: this year. Okay, site, we're gonna pull out and we're
- 40:12Speaker 3: gonna do it in Vegas for the second consecutive year
- 40:14Speaker 3: because Vegas gave us a fuck ton of money. Which
- 40:16Speaker 3: hey that's what, Hey, that's business. I get it. But
- 40:20Speaker 3: now they're going, wait a minute, why are not as
- 40:22Speaker 3: many people buying tickets? Because the prices are way more
- 40:28Speaker 3: than last year. That's not in that bay. That's not
- 40:31Speaker 3: even including travel, that's not including lodging, like just the
- 40:34Speaker 3: event itself. Literally, like why what did they expect? And
- 40:40Speaker 3: here we are, literally what a week and a half
- 40:44Speaker 3: from it, and I think and they've done, They've done
- 40:48Speaker 3: a lot of fucking sales for these tickets. And my
- 40:52Speaker 3: sales is being generous with that word. It's like, oh,
- 40:55Speaker 3: here's discounts. It's like, I can't remember what I was.
- 40:58Speaker 3: It's where I read it might've been Wrestling Nomics. It's
- 41:01Speaker 3: like a wrestling economic like source that like does like
- 41:05Speaker 3: tickets and like gates and all this shit. And I'm
- 41:07Speaker 3: not saying it was them, but like they did. They
- 41:09Speaker 3: were like the last like five years, like Wressel Main
- 41:10Speaker 3: tickets have gone up like over like two hundred three percent.
- 41:13Speaker 3: And it's like, why, it's crazy, And.
- 41:15Speaker 2: I get it.
- 41:16Speaker 3: I get it. Money things are more expensive cost of
- 41:20Speaker 3: that's the way it is, but not that much more.
- 41:23Speaker 3: Your costs go up, our costs go up. It's just
- 41:25Speaker 3: the way that life it is. It sucks, but not
- 41:28Speaker 3: that much. Like there's that video last year of where
- 41:34Speaker 3: some fans were just lucky enough to meet Randy Orn
- 41:36Speaker 3: like in a hallway, and he was and again it's
- 41:38Speaker 3: a video gets the online. He was nice, He talked
- 41:40Speaker 3: him for a couple of minutes, and he asked them
- 41:44Speaker 3: how much did you pay for your tickets? And they said, well,
- 41:48Speaker 3: we got these. We usually do these but they wanted
- 41:50Speaker 3: twenty grand, and he goes, that's fucking ridiculous.
- 41:55Speaker 4: Twenty grand for those.
- 41:57Speaker 3: Or twenty three. It was something like that, and it
- 41:59Speaker 3: just like, what the fuck is going right?
- 42:04Speaker 4: Well, that's the thing, man, Like, it's I think it's
- 42:06Speaker 4: kind of antithetical to what we've come to know pro wrestling,
- 42:10Speaker 4: as it's not some luxury event. It is for the everyman.
- 42:15Speaker 4: If the everyman can't afford to take his family to
- 42:21Speaker 4: go see wrestling or even let alone himself, like, that's
- 42:26Speaker 4: that's not what g wrestling has been. And you know,
- 42:31Speaker 4: I think we had this conversation about Disney, or maybe
- 42:33Speaker 4: I overheard it, but things like that, like they thrive
- 42:37Speaker 4: on legacy fanship, like fandoms where you go as a
- 42:43Speaker 4: kid and you have all these wholesome memories about it,
- 42:47Speaker 4: these you know, integral parts of your childhood and you
- 42:50Speaker 4: want to share that with your family. Well now you can't.
- 42:55Speaker 4: Now you can't. Now you like now it's like, well
- 42:57Speaker 4: maybe we'll save up and maybe we'll go. And things
- 43:01Speaker 4: just keep getting more expensive, and like looking at prices
- 43:04Speaker 4: for like a family meal plan and all this stuff,
- 43:07Speaker 4: it's like, how the fuck is anybody able to do
- 43:09Speaker 4: this and and let alone like go consecutively. Like I
- 43:15Speaker 4: remember as a kid, it was a tradition where my
- 43:18Speaker 4: grandparents would take me when I was five, and then
- 43:20Speaker 4: they took my sister when she was five, and then
- 43:23Speaker 4: when my brother was old enough, we all went. And
- 43:26Speaker 4: now I'm thinking, like going to Disney World three times,
- 43:31Speaker 4: you were taking three separate trips today, right, would fucking
- 43:36Speaker 4: break the bank. And so like the same thing is
- 43:40Speaker 4: happening with the wrestling, where it's like you have to
- 43:43Speaker 4: sell an arm and a leg to go to a
- 43:45Speaker 4: WWB show, and like you really, I mean I when
- 43:49Speaker 4: I when I have kids, when you have kids, Like,
- 43:51Speaker 4: that's gonna that's gonna be a fucking thing that we
- 43:54Speaker 4: do to share that love for that thing.
- 43:57Speaker 3: And there's the problem is this is the issue is
- 44:02Speaker 3: they think they're the NFL. I'm sorry, you're not. That's
- 44:07Speaker 3: the one. That's the one thing. Vincer Grean always that
- 44:09Speaker 3: he would never he never wanted to price his fans
- 44:11Speaker 3: out because he knows who his fans are. And yeah,
- 44:14Speaker 3: you could call it in so, but essentially it is
- 44:16Speaker 3: like the lower upper middle class of America. That's what
- 44:20Speaker 3: the main audiences of professional wrestling, that's what it fucking is.
- 44:27Speaker 4: Well, I mean I would I would even disagree with
- 44:29Speaker 4: you on that, Like I think the audience for pro
- 44:31Speaker 4: wrestling is fucking.
- 44:32Speaker 3: Everybody like me. That's what it usually was. But sorry, no,
- 44:36Speaker 3: I hear what you're saying.
- 44:37Speaker 4: But like if your core audience can't afford to go
- 44:40Speaker 4: to the live show, I mean, yeah, they might still
- 44:43Speaker 4: be fans, but they're going to miss out on part
- 44:45Speaker 4: of the product. And like what's the point of doing
- 44:48Speaker 4: towns then what's the point of going around the country
- 44:50Speaker 4: if like people can't afford to really go, you know
- 44:54Speaker 4: what I'm saying.
- 44:54Speaker 3: Yeah, anyway, Well, and the other thing is like they
- 45:00Speaker 3: I have all these events. I'm trying to I'm trying
- 45:04Speaker 3: to find what it, like how much it costs. Like
- 45:06Speaker 3: they have like their I think they call like w
- 45:09Speaker 3: W World. It's like essentially it's like a fan convention
- 45:11Speaker 3: that weekend where it's like you can come meet your
- 45:12Speaker 3: favorite Like you can pay a ticket to go into
- 45:15Speaker 3: event to then buy another ticket to meet your favorite superstar.
- 45:20Speaker 3: On top of also like again it's also like you
- 45:22Speaker 3: can see props and things from you know, years past.
- 45:26Speaker 3: You can obviously get exclusive merch and all that shit,
- 45:30Speaker 3: but like the problem is you have these uh I'm
- 45:33Speaker 3: trying to see if I can find it, and god
- 45:36Speaker 3: damn it, I can't find it. But essentially they have
- 45:38Speaker 3: like there is like these price breakdowns and of like
- 45:43Speaker 3: what these scenes cost. And I think it was like
- 45:44Speaker 3: there was like a joke if it's like if you like, okay,
- 45:46Speaker 3: so you buy your ticket to do your world, and
- 45:48Speaker 3: it's like if you want to go meet like stone
- 45:49Speaker 3: Cold see Boston, I think like he's one of the options,
- 45:51Speaker 3: which like, hey, that's a big one to get, you know,
- 45:53Speaker 3: it's probably like easily top five, like any wrestling fan
- 45:56Speaker 3: wants to meet, and like he's probably had the longest line,
- 45:59Speaker 3: and I think it was like it was like an
- 46:00Speaker 3: absurd amount of money just to like get a photo
- 46:03Speaker 3: op with him.
- 46:04Speaker 4: And it's just like like a grand probably.
- 46:07Speaker 3: I don't want to know if I would go that far,
- 46:09Speaker 3: but I think it was like five hundreds five and
- 46:11Speaker 3: that way, that's not counting the fucking fees and bullshit,
- 46:13Speaker 3: which is like what what fucking fee? Like I'm sorry,
- 46:16Speaker 3: fuck off.
- 46:19Speaker 4: I got a small taste of that at the Square
- 46:21Speaker 4: Circle xpilen.
- 46:23Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I forgot you that that too.
- 46:25Speaker 4: Yeah, well, like the amount that people were charging for
- 46:29Speaker 4: pictures autographs, it's easily like eighty ninety dollars. But then
- 46:34Speaker 4: my buddy went and he bought like this uh professional
- 46:39Speaker 4: photo op which they do for they had a couple
- 46:42Speaker 4: like a list of guys that were doing that, and
- 46:44Speaker 4: that was over one hundred bucks. It's sure he got
- 46:47Speaker 4: the skip line and like had this professional photo taken
- 46:50Speaker 4: and they printed out and it's nice. But even then,
- 46:52Speaker 4: it's like, if you wanted to do that for multiple people,
- 46:57Speaker 4: that's easy to get near the five hundred dollar, right,
- 47:01Speaker 4: and that's not even counting like you know, all the
- 47:04Speaker 4: booths so well, the merchant shit, and it's so it's
- 47:06Speaker 4: like it's just ww's taking that and like realizing like,
- 47:12Speaker 4: oh people will It's just it's just kind of like Disney,
- 47:15Speaker 4: where like people are milking the nostalgia aspect of it,
- 47:18Speaker 4: especially with the guys like Stone Cold. It's like, well,
- 47:19Speaker 4: people won't want to pay money and to do this.
- 47:22Speaker 3: Well, and the thing that sucks and I have I
- 47:25Speaker 3: have to say this is that like I just look,
- 47:31Speaker 3: I just look on their website, like do Dooey World
- 47:33Speaker 3: for the Sea Boston Photo Op and everything. It's sold out.
- 47:37Speaker 3: So their argument is, well, we put the price and
- 47:39Speaker 3: people still pay for it, which is one hundred per
- 47:40Speaker 3: centro Like, hey, people are willing to pay for it.
- 47:43Speaker 3: Fuck it. But like eventually you're going to price like okay,
- 47:46Speaker 3: because you went to like the whole nostalgia thing. The
- 47:49Speaker 3: reason why there is that term Disney adult is because
- 47:53Speaker 3: these people from the eighties, ourselves the nineties, we're at
- 47:56Speaker 3: that age now where we have kids. We hey, maybe
- 47:59Speaker 3: have a little money in our pockets, not right now
- 48:01Speaker 3: with these fucking gas prices, but we have money in
- 48:04Speaker 3: our pocket and we want to take our kids to
- 48:06Speaker 3: Disney to experience the things that we did are like, oh, hey,
- 48:09Speaker 3: your favorite movie, this is this is the thing, you
- 48:11Speaker 3: know what I mean, And like you can go do
- 48:15Speaker 3: that if you plan accordingly, which like for example, it's
- 48:18Speaker 3: it's a it's a it's a it's a it's it's
- 48:20Speaker 3: not a joke, but it's like another thing I hear,
- 48:22Speaker 3: Like my wife and I we go, yes, we go,
- 48:24Speaker 3: but it's just her and I. We don't have kids.
- 48:26Speaker 3: We plan, we say, if we do these things, it's
- 48:29Speaker 3: a joke that clickly clact makes every time it comes
- 48:31Speaker 3: on the podcast, which is fine, but like it's like
- 48:35Speaker 3: even there, it's like holy shit, Like you see what
- 48:37Speaker 3: these like they raise prices and again to their point,
- 48:40Speaker 3: if people keep paying for it, it is what it is.
- 48:43Speaker 3: But eventually you're gonna price those people out. Like there
- 48:46Speaker 3: was literally a survey we got from Disney and it
- 48:48Speaker 3: was actually it made like national headlines. It was like
- 48:50Speaker 3: last year, I believe, we're pretty much like, hey, what
- 48:52Speaker 3: is stopping you from coming to us a visit us more?
- 48:55Speaker 3: And of course it's like you already know the answer.
- 48:58Speaker 4: You already know that, and what do you mean it's
- 49:00Speaker 4: the only thing, that's.
- 49:01Speaker 3: The only thing. Yeah, it's the prices. And like with
- 49:04Speaker 3: w there's a reason like why and I can't and
- 49:06Speaker 3: I lost it. Like the chart of like so like
- 49:08Speaker 3: wrestled Nomics did like a thing of like hey, where
- 49:10Speaker 3: were the tickets sold at this time last year compared
- 49:13Speaker 3: to now? And like right now it's like the last
- 49:16Speaker 3: year there are at twenty thirty thousand more. Now, sure
- 49:19Speaker 3: you can argue, yeah they had the bigger they had
- 49:21Speaker 3: John seen his final wrestling at the bigger attraction. Excuse me,
- 49:25Speaker 3: but it's like okay, but it's like wrestle Mania because
- 49:29Speaker 3: that's like the thing about the super Bowl, and again
- 49:32Speaker 3: not comparing the two, but this is their super Bowl.
- 49:34Speaker 3: It's almost sings where it's like it doesn't matter who's
- 49:36Speaker 3: in the main essentially, it's like it doesn't matter who's there.
- 49:38Speaker 3: The event itself is the attraction. But over the last
- 49:42Speaker 3: couple of years, because of corporate you could call it
- 49:45Speaker 3: not even I mean, yeah, you can call it corporate Greek.
- 49:47Speaker 3: That has been the case. Because okay, we'll get up
- 49:50Speaker 3: break it down for those who are wrestle fans. Cody
- 49:53Speaker 3: Roads a couple of years ago was supposed to fight
- 49:55Speaker 3: Roman Reigns in the main event and then they're like,
- 49:57Speaker 3: actually the Rock wants to fight Roman now, and they're like, okay,
- 50:02Speaker 3: we're gonna have Cody, who has been doing this story
- 50:05Speaker 3: now for two years of trying to go after the title.
- 50:07Speaker 3: He almost got it and he lost it. Then he
- 50:09Speaker 3: earned the right to win to fight it, and he goes, okay, yeah,
- 50:12Speaker 3: I'm gonna fight you, but just not at WrestleMania, no
- 50:14Speaker 3: no contacts for why. And the Rock comes out it's like, oh,
- 50:17Speaker 3: Rock enrollment at WrestleMania and of course the audience is like,
- 50:22Speaker 3: fuck that that, But according to Resort, the Rock was
- 50:27Speaker 3: like yeah, and I'm not it wasn't just him. Don't
- 50:30Speaker 3: let that fool yet. But they're like, no, okay, we're
- 50:32Speaker 3: gonna we're gonna pivot. We're gonna make him up. By
- 50:35Speaker 3: the way, fucking worked out great, worked out awesome, better
- 50:39Speaker 3: result in the end, the Rocks a bad guys as
- 50:42Speaker 3: big ass final boss. It was fucking great. And then
- 50:48Speaker 3: the following year they're like, okay, we're gonna have John
- 50:51Speaker 3: Cena in his final year because of a poor and again,
- 50:56Speaker 3: as they put in did you ever watch ad w
- 51:00Speaker 3: be Unreal document? The first season? I can't remember who
- 51:04Speaker 3: said it, So essentially they simply said like, hey, why
- 51:07Speaker 3: did why was the they broke down? Why they turned
- 51:10Speaker 3: John Cena heel? And then essentially it was for a
- 51:13Speaker 3: viral moment. But they said like, hey, how did the
- 51:14Speaker 3: Rock involved. Here's what it was. It was, Oh, the
- 51:17Speaker 3: tickets weren't selling, so they asked The Rock to join
- 51:21Speaker 3: the show to sell more tickets. You know why they
- 51:24Speaker 3: said it? They said it wasn't because of the ticket prices.
- 51:26Speaker 3: It was due to the high the issues with the Canada.
- 51:31Speaker 3: What was the word I forgot, just just just the Canada,
- 51:36Speaker 3: the Canada culture, that Canada has very expensive prices, or
- 51:40Speaker 3: the Canada climate. And it's like, no, it's because you guys.
- 51:43Speaker 3: You guys literally were charging a mortgage for the fucking
- 51:46Speaker 3: show before the Rock was even announced, and apparently, by
- 51:50Speaker 3: all accounts, he did. I mean, obviously he did move
- 51:52Speaker 3: some tickets, but not nearly as many as they thought
- 51:54Speaker 3: he was going to. And then they hid this huge moment,
- 51:58Speaker 3: awesome angled John Cena turns heel, kick Cody and the dick.
- 52:01Speaker 3: That's tradition now every to WrestleMania. Where's Cody's dick? It's
- 52:04Speaker 3: time to kick it.
- 52:07Speaker 4: Let's get the dick.
- 52:08Speaker 3: We got a quick wait, we only have skate knocking
- 52:13Speaker 3: more of years ago. After the eighth kick, he finally
- 52:15Speaker 3: put on a fucking cup.
- 52:19Speaker 4: Oh god, it like a cup would actually help? Can
- 52:21Speaker 4: you imagine?
- 52:22Speaker 3: No, cup wouldn't help, but it would help alleviate some
- 52:24Speaker 3: of it. But at wrestling, that's the thing of a guy.
- 52:27Speaker 3: Where's a cup? It doesn't hurt him? So and then
- 52:30Speaker 3: of course they do this huge angle Johnson to turns heel.
- 52:33Speaker 3: The Rock is with him, Travis Scott's with him, and
- 52:36Speaker 3: then they went away and there was no fucking explanation
- 52:38Speaker 3: given which it was what it was. Well, Travis Scott
- 52:41Speaker 3: came back, but well for the longest wrestling entrance ever.
- 52:43Speaker 3: But then of course they were so mad with how
- 52:45Speaker 3: everything worked out and how he handled it. I guess
- 52:47Speaker 3: they just split times whatever it is what it is,
- 52:49Speaker 3: but that was because of corporate greed and like, no,
- 52:53Speaker 3: like we want to have this big thing to move tickets.
- 52:55Speaker 3: It's like we think we know, we think we know,
- 52:58Speaker 3: and it's like, no, you do. And it's the same
- 53:00Speaker 3: thing with the Vince. You don't know you're doing this thing.
- 53:04Speaker 3: You think it's that's gonna be best again? Was it
- 53:06Speaker 3: used to be the joke like it's not for an
- 53:08Speaker 3: audience of millions, for an audience of one. And now
- 53:11Speaker 3: they're doing these things where it's like, okay, great for
- 53:13Speaker 3: this year, what's the big idea. You have this big
- 53:15Speaker 3: storyline with Cody Roads of Randy Orton, student versus the teacher.
- 53:19Speaker 3: You know Orton turns heel great and hearing the voices again,
- 53:23Speaker 3: Yeah great, cool, That's all you fucking need.
- 53:26Speaker 4: That's really all you needed. Honestly, like, I was so
- 53:32Speaker 4: interested in that, I was genuinely excited for that main event.
- 53:36Speaker 4: I think it's a great way to get Randy back
- 53:39Speaker 4: in that main event, seeing after the bad.
- 53:43Speaker 3: Guy again, which everyone fucking wants. You know, they're cheering
- 53:46Speaker 3: heel for Cody Road.
- 53:47Speaker 4: There's the baked and story of all their history of
- 53:50Speaker 4: that mentorship and Randy seeking that fifteenth title rain after
- 53:56Speaker 4: not holding the title for I don't know how long
- 54:00Speaker 4: in six years, he starts to get these phone calls and.
- 54:04Speaker 3: Then of course for weeks and weeks it's someone saying
- 54:07Speaker 3: he finds someone finally convinced him to be who he
- 54:09Speaker 3: really is if he wants to win the championship. And
- 54:11Speaker 3: then we find out that who could get the sugarcoat it.
- 54:13Speaker 3: You're thinking, there's always okay.
- 54:15Speaker 2: Is it the Rock?
- 54:16Speaker 3: Is it Vince McMahon is, and you know it end
- 54:18Speaker 3: up being Pat McAfee.
- 54:21Speaker 4: Now and everybody collectively it was like, well, and then
- 54:24Speaker 4: he does.
- 54:25Speaker 3: And here's the thing. He does his promo pretty much
- 54:27Speaker 3: saying like Cody Roads is ruining the business, when for
- 54:30Speaker 3: the last couple of years Pat was championing Cody Rhodes
- 54:33Speaker 3: and he's standing at Teople fucking yeating saying like this
- 54:36Speaker 3: business is great, which makes no fucking sense. Here's the
- 54:38Speaker 3: thing that a lot of people haven't like been bitching about.
- 54:41Speaker 3: He starts doing if you smell and what chance and
- 54:44Speaker 3: talk about the Attitude era, and he's like like, like,
- 54:47Speaker 3: this business hasn't be as good, starts to editor her, Hey,
- 54:49Speaker 3: dumb motherfucker, Randy. I'm not saying I'm not calling him
- 54:53Speaker 3: dumb motherfucker or whoever told him to the promo, which
- 54:55Speaker 3: dependent was unscripted. Orn wasn't in the Attitude era.
- 54:58Speaker 4: No, literally, no he was.
- 55:01Speaker 3: He came after it died. But and then, by all accounts,
- 55:06Speaker 3: why did this come out? Why did he because the
- 55:09Speaker 3: executives at TKO thought, how can we move more ticket
- 55:13Speaker 3: sales where and we can have Pat McAfee, who is
- 55:16Speaker 3: by in his there's no joke, he is a superstar,
- 55:20Speaker 3: get involved with this to get more promotion, more eyes
- 55:23Speaker 3: on ESPN, to then drive up not only viewership in
- 55:28Speaker 3: the WrestleMania showing, but also ticket sales, and of course,
- 55:32Speaker 3: after three days of it, barely any fucking tickets got sold.
- 55:38Speaker 4: Because the biggest fucking barrier has it changed.
- 55:41Speaker 3: Now again, to their credit, they pivoted because that same
- 55:46Speaker 3: night what happened they apparently had Cody Worlds go out
- 55:49Speaker 3: there for an unplanned promo and talk shit about like
- 55:54Speaker 3: pretty much like like I know this wasn't Pat. Now,
- 55:57Speaker 3: of course it's a workshoot thing, yes, but it's like
- 56:00Speaker 3: again and here's again. Here we are now for the
- 56:02Speaker 3: third straight fucking year, t k O exacts. Okay, we
- 56:07Speaker 3: don't like what we're what you're doing. We want to
- 56:09Speaker 3: sell more tickets. Okay, lower ticket prices. No, that's not
- 56:12Speaker 3: how you do it. Do this thing insteady oh, the
- 56:15Speaker 3: audience hates it. Fuck, let's get the right from his podcast.
- 56:21Speaker 4: We'll get him. We'll have him just kind of show
- 56:25Speaker 4: up and and talk a bunch of ship and then
- 56:33Speaker 4: then we get.
- 56:33Speaker 3: The money right. And of course then you have cmpunk
- 56:37Speaker 3: go on on Monday, call up, call out Pat McAfee,
- 56:40Speaker 3: call up the exacts, and then he's again workshoot promo.
- 56:44Speaker 3: But he goes lower the ticket prices, and of course
- 56:47Speaker 3: the crowd goes fucking nuts cause it's like fuck, yeah,
- 56:50Speaker 3: now here's the thing. There is another report saying that,
- 56:53Speaker 3: like so there's been a there's a report that came
- 56:56Speaker 3: out in the last couple of days that a lot
- 56:58Speaker 3: of people in the locker room have been express it
- 57:01Speaker 3: concerns like, hey, we have a chance to do a
- 57:04Speaker 3: really big WrestleMania here, because by all accounts, everyone in
- 57:08Speaker 3: the back is like super excited because I think like
- 57:09Speaker 3: this would be like one was like like again, per example,
- 57:12Speaker 3: WrestleMania nineteen, it wasn't the most watched WrestleMania, but like
- 57:17Speaker 3: it's one of the most fevered and even before there's
- 57:19Speaker 3: reports where like everyone was like this is going to
- 57:21Speaker 3: be a fucking all timer, which it was. But you
- 57:26Speaker 3: have all these people going like we're out pricing our audience,
- 57:29Speaker 3: like we're gonna have I'm not gonna say, like fifty
- 57:31Speaker 3: percent less than a year prior, but like we're not
- 57:33Speaker 3: gonna have as many people. You're out pricing the audience.
- 57:36Speaker 3: Because here's the thing. There are people who go to
- 57:38Speaker 3: WrestleMania every year. There are people go to WrestleMania every
- 57:41Speaker 3: couple of years. But if you're a fan, it's like, humh,
- 57:44Speaker 3: do I really want to do the Vegas trip again?
- 57:47Speaker 3: Or I can just wait or not not next year
- 57:50Speaker 3: because it's gonna be in Saudie. Not that people can't
- 57:52Speaker 3: go to Saudi, but like, let's be honest, or do
- 57:54Speaker 3: I want to wait too much?
- 57:54Speaker 4: I shouldn't go there now?
- 57:55Speaker 3: But well yeah, of course not.
- 57:57Speaker 2: Now, but like.
- 58:00Speaker 3: And words go, no, I'm not gonna do it because
- 58:01Speaker 3: it's Vegas is so fucking it and the Vegas issues
- 58:04Speaker 3: are well fucking docked. That in wrestling Mania just in general,
- 58:07Speaker 3: like with all the fucking other money issues they have.
- 58:10Speaker 3: But it's like no, and that's why a lot of
- 58:12Speaker 3: people are because they are outpricing themselves. And then reports
- 58:14Speaker 3: are coming out like the wrestlers have been asking this
- 58:16Speaker 3: for like lower the prices forever or months and like
- 58:20Speaker 3: and now there's reports saying they do plan the lowder
- 58:22Speaker 3: the prices. But it's like, yeah, but when because I
- 58:25Speaker 3: look and the biole accounts the prices, some tickets have
- 58:28Speaker 3: moved because again there's a lot look excepting like oh,
- 58:30Speaker 3: they're doing the work shoot ship, which again that that
- 58:32Speaker 3: always works in wrestling, it doesn't matter what it is,
- 58:34Speaker 3: it always fucking works. But it's like it's not moving again.
- 58:38Speaker 3: It's made it fought. But again it's because they have
- 58:40Speaker 3: to fit because the corporate greed or corporate suitors are
- 58:44Speaker 3: like oh no, do this because understandably by all means,
- 58:47Speaker 3: they're the one paying the bills. I'll make the fucking clear.
- 58:49Speaker 3: But it's like, okay, but you're paying me, I e.
- 58:52Speaker 3: Triple h to run this ship, to make things that
- 58:57Speaker 3: are going that's going to entice the audience, well the
- 58:59Speaker 3: things you're doing or entyson audience, and which you can
- 59:01Speaker 3: go bullshit because our rating not the rains are great,
- 59:04Speaker 3: but their engagement's really high. But you're out, you're not.
- 59:09Speaker 3: It's not people can't afford to go. They can't afford
- 59:12Speaker 3: to go, right. For example, Kayla and I we went
- 59:15Speaker 3: to go see Johnston this last time in Chicago. I'm
- 59:17Speaker 3: so happy I got to see that. That was a
- 59:19Speaker 3: last kind of like last minutes for the moment thing
- 59:21Speaker 3: because I was like, because literally, I'm not gonna lie
- 59:23Speaker 3: to you, I'm not gonna say what I paid for it.
- 59:25Speaker 3: But I remember the like at first before I paid
- 59:27Speaker 3: for I'm like, I'm not paying that, and the price
- 59:30Speaker 3: is thankfully went down. And by the way, Rosemont all State,
- 59:34Speaker 3: it's a it's a small arena, so pretty much anywhere
- 59:36Speaker 3: you sit, you're gonna have a good scene in the house.
- 59:38Speaker 3: That's a fact. But at the same time, it's like
- 59:41Speaker 3: I don't know about that one. Fuck the fucking elimination
- 59:45Speaker 3: Chamber show I went to. I went to, I did
- 59:47Speaker 3: standing room only. That was literally a last minute by
- 59:51Speaker 3: because I literally was talking to people and we were
- 59:53Speaker 3: literally going, hey, what did you pay for it? Because
- 59:56Speaker 3: standing room, by the way, was not available till like
- 59:58Speaker 3: two o'clock that afternoon. Because Caitlin's like, just go, I'm
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: like no, She's like just I'm like, I'm not paying that,
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: And all of a sudden, oh, the United Center has
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: announced they have opened the standing room ole a for
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: the show tonight. Only in the top section though, and
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: like we're all comparing price, like, oh, what did you
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: pay it? Here's what I paid, by the way, Humble Bragg,
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: I paid the lowest. Nice some guy talked to his
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: piss not at me. Just a situation. But it's just
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: like you're because here's the thing too, WrestleMania forty they
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: had every single right during that road to WrestleMania with
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: the rock and everything. After they made that pivot, they
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: had every single right every single week to whip it
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: out and like, look how big it is because they
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: were breaking records every week, Oh big biggest gate sold
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: out eight God, it was a joke. It's like, okay,
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: you know fortieth straight show sold out. They don't mention
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: that anymore because nothing sold out because you can't because
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: and I want to fuck it. And here's the thing.
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: You want to know how I know they're trying to
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: get tickets to sell because here's the thing. I like,
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: I have ticket matter like everyone does. I get fun.
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: I'm getting WrestleMania ads like, hey, you want to buy
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: a ticket?
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: No, No, I live in Chicago, not not fucking Las Vegas.
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: You pay for my flight, you pay for my room.
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: Maybe, but no, it's just you're out pricing the main
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: people that go to these shows. Like it's it's fucking stupid.
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: There was a thing and I go, I'm sorry. I
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: know I'm talking a lot here. I can't remember what
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: it was. I think there is an event with Cody
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: Roads going in WrestleMania that a podcast listens to that
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: Sola Monster one. Check that out. Make sure it's a
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: really good show if you like wrestling, even if you don't.
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: I just learned a lot of history stuff too. He
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: was there was like a Cody Rhodes and I might
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: be mistaken here, but I know for sure there's like
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: a pasta making event going on. You yeah, you go
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: and make pasta with a champion or no, no, no, okay, no,
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: no talking about there is a pasta making thing. I'm
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: not sure the Cody Roads, but there's an event where
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: you'll have dinner or hand out with Cody on his bus.
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: And I did hear about that.
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: Yeah, they're charging like three or four grand and it's
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: sold out so insane, which again people are paying for it.
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: That's stupid. But it's like instead of doing all that,
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: take all your resources and just put them into the
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: World Fan Access event and the main fucking show, Like,
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: because here's the thing. There are people that are perfect Okay,
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: here's the perfect example of corporate greed. And thankfully this
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: got revoked or do they get reversed. There was a
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: thing where they were simply saying, because of allegedly with
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: how bad the ticket price the sales were, they were
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: blocking out where every sports bar or anything like that,
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: with like I think it was like a fifty mile
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: radius couldn't show the show.
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: I didn't hear about that.
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: And of course every fucking place goes, uh, fuck you no,
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: like like this is like, this is how we make
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: our money, and even local officials are like, this is
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: our understanding, like because it's like everywhere it's like, hey,
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: not everyone can afford to go these shows, but like
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: we make a lot of money off because that's the thing,
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: that's the thing that everyone loves to do in the
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: city included. Oh, during the WrestleMania weekend, the city of
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: New Orleans made this amount of money. Yeah, because you're
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: in town and all the bars and restaurants are packed. Yeah,
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: and then they try this whole like blackout thing and
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: eventually it got revoked. But like for like a month
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: and a half they were like, no, we're not budgeting,
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: and eventually they budged because I guess like they came
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: to a terms, like with a different licensing fee for
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: like all the bars and shit like that. But it's
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: just like what the fuck, Like, and I get it,
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: the company's gotta make their money, they gotta make their share.
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: I get that. I get it. We're in America. It's business.
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: But at the same time, it's like when it's literally
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: it's more it's more obvious or not even more obvious.
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: There's more eyes than ever there's more ways for us
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: to figure out who is pulling the streams and making decisions. No,
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: Like that's the like literally, like as much power as
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: these stockholders have, the people paying for this stuff have
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: as much power to a point where it's like, Okay,
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: you're gonna charge this much, I'm not paying Okay, perfect example,
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: they're not responds to the show. So I'm gonna say it. Southwest,
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: How Southwest doing right now? Not fucking great? Why because
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: they took away all the things that made everyone loved,
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: like make make them the preferred value airline mm hmmm.
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: And how are they doing right now? Not very good.
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: I don't know what their stock is and stuff like that.
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: But like, by all account, they made this. They made
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: these big changes that start in the last couple of months,
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: and already now they're making more changes because guess what,
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: people fuck the changes they made fucking suck.
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: And that's the thing though, That's that's the thing. It's
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: like with wrestling or Disney or whatever. It's like there's
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: such that emotional weight to it where it gives them
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: a little bit more of a manipulation or we're more
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: malleable to these ticket prices where like we kinda we
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: stomach them a little bit more for a little bit
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: longer because we have that emotional attachment, but it's not infinite,
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: you know.
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: Well, and again it's like this like you can like
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: people have the power. It's like okay, like for y
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: like Disney, it's like, hey, I really want to go
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: to Disney. It's like I can't do it. Okay, great,
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: let's plan for let's plan for this time. Okay, great,
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: we can save up for that. Or again, things happened
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: to emergencies, God forbid, doesn't happen. Shit happens, But it's
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: like you can plan ahead. And here's the thing. The
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: problem with this wrestle media is people literally they literally
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: have they've trotted the last figure. They trotted the rock
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: out in New Orleans to go. Wrestle Media will be
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: in New Orleans in twenty twenty six. And I think
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: it was around the beginning of the summer they said,
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: oh no, we're going back to Vegas.
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: Yeah, people had people who had already bought tickets and
- 1:05:59Speaker 4: planned the trip.
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: People already committed like flights, hotels because I mean, obviously
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: I don't think tickets were on sale them. But it's
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: like people had already committed like like flights or hotels,
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: like like made whole plans. And then of course again
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: here's the older respect New Orleans. That's one of my plays.
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: I want to go. I want to go down Bourbon Street.
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: Fu.
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: Yeah, not a lie. If if wrestl me ever does
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: what New Orleans, that might be one I might think about.
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: You know what I might I might think we go
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: to we might do a big guye trip to that one.
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: I think about it this year, but like, you know,
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: maybe that'd be a full one to go to because
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: I've they've been there twice now and I have never
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: heard a complain about it. I heard it's the best
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: fucking time because it's on fucking Bourbon Street, you know.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: What I mean?
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: Like what what? What more can you want? But in
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: terms of like value of or not of, like what
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: the prices each city charges, Vegas is light years ahead
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: of what New Orleans charges.
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: I can't even imagine which people he's the only thing
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: I do. But that's not what I want to do
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: in Vegas. So if I'm in Vegas, I want to
- 1:06:56Speaker 4: go go to a casino, go see a show.
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I want to go explore. But The problem is
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: when you're paying when half, like when more than seventy
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: five percent of like your budget for your trip is
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: just to making sure you have food or just somewhere
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: to stay, like that's hard. And then it's like, oh yeah,
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: and then here's what the ticket price is. I was like, no,
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: I'm not doing that. That's fucking stupid. And they're like, well,
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: we're gonna have Pat McAfee out, but no, guess what
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: it's not. And I'm glad. I'm glad it's buying them
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: back because again, it's sometimes like these things. But the problem,
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: the thing that sucks again is like they've done this
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: now three straight years and it hasn't worked. Yeah, let
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: the people running the ship run the ship. Stop stop
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: putting your foot in. That's okay, perfect, That's why they
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: these like sports teams that have these issues majority of time.
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: What's the common denominator. It's the owner. No, I want
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: to do it this way. It's not gonna work. No,
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: it'll work. Oh it didn't work. Well, it's your fault.
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: How is it my fault? Well, you didn't. You didn't
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: do it the way I wanted to do it. You
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: literally told me what to do. And I did it. No,
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: you did it. If you did, it would have worked.
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: You didn't didn't spec I didn't. You didn't follow my specifications,
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: which I never told you.
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: So okay, really quick, I would like you to guess
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: to be and I'm trying to confirm so if my
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: thing is correct. Sorry, I'm trying to make sure this
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: isn't like a resell ticket because that's a fucking thing
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: which is And here's the thing. The thing too about
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: this is like I can't remember what artists does it.
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: There's an artist like, oh, okay, perfect example, Savannah, the
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: Savannah Bananas. They don't allow they they you can read
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: because if you buy something you can resell. That's you're right.
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: But it's like they use their own platform and everything
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: to cell tickets because it's that baseball team that everyone knows,
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: like from social media. I've never heard of this basic
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: look about. They're fucking great. I try to get tickets
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: and I and the lottery and I and they said
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: hey sorry, I'm like, hey, cool, it is I tried.
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: I didn't get it. It is what it is. I
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: did what I couldn't get it, and I couldn't get
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: the ticket. It is what they're like essentially think of
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: like think of w W spin on baseball. The games
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: are fun, they're legit, but like they do like a
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: lot of like comedy and show, Like they do a
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: lot of entertainment stuff in between innings, like to like
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: really like to get the fans more, and like I
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: think it's literally, uh, there's a rule where like for example,
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: like if a fan catches a file ball, you're out,
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: Like yeah, like can you imagine that shit like in
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: the MLB playoffs, Like that'd be fucking awesome. But they
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: do like they use their own source to like bite
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: for ticket sales, but like these other companies don't because
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: ticket I'm not gonna go to the whole fucking ticket
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: Master debacle shit. But it's like they have like the
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: right to like not let some of the shit go on,
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: but they do it anyway because like it's they don't
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: care they get the money. But I just looked at
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: it and I'm not seeing anything that says this is resale. Okay,
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: I want to make that clear. Usually ticket Master is
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: pretty god oh yeah, it's a standard dimission. So this
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: is not a reselle. I would like for you to
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: tell me for a two day combo ticket. Let me
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: make sure I'm just gonna do one ticket. I don't
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: want to, Okay, it is one ticket. Tell me how
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: much you think second row a WrestleMania costs.
- 1:10:07Speaker 4: For two days, second row for two days.
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: Second row. This is a two day combo ticket. So
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: if I buy this tic yeah, so what is the
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: total for two days? Because I do that a one ticket,
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: one ticket? Row two, now keep on like Row two,
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: biggest show the year, all that stuff.
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: Seventy five.
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: For two nights, for two nights. No, my low, you
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: are very low.
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: You're shitting me.
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: Thirty thousand, thirty two grand.
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: You're fucked for two nights.
- 1:10:49Speaker 3: Joking.
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: No, you're fucking joking.
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: For a non resale ticket. It is thirty two thousand dollars.
- 1:10:56Speaker 3: Section eight, Row two thirty two thousand dollars. Now that's
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: two nights. So that's what. That's sixteen grand a night.
- 1:11:05Speaker 4: Does that change a damn thing? No?
- 1:11:07Speaker 3: And that's almost that's some people. But but but row ten,
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: Row ten is five thousand dollars for so that's too.
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: Twenty If I had the money, I would consider paying that, like, okay,
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: if I have the money, twenty five hundred, I get
- 1:11:22Speaker 3: the chair. I maybe get some other because sometimes you
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: get like that, you get these like vipay things. You
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: gotta look at the tickets, see what you get. Okay,
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: you know what for five grand? Okay, but yeah row
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: row two next and like Dead Center, Okay, thirty two
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: thousand dollars, that's insane, still available? Still available? Good, I'm
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: glad it is. No shit, I hope that's what's gonna happen.
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: Is they're gonna lowered to probably like twenty grand or
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: something like that that day, and someone will buy it.
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: Some person in rich guy in Vegas will buy it,
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: or casine like one of the casinos will buy it,
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: like you know what I mean, and right off we'll
- 1:11:59Speaker 3: take Oh, it's a write off expense. We took a
- 1:12:01Speaker 3: client out for dinner.
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: That's crazy.
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, And again, why why is the show really
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: gonna be worth thirty two thousand dollars over two nights?
- 1:12:16Speaker 3: Are you really gonna be a thirty two thousand dollars product? No, No,
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: that's a fucking but but here's the problem. All the
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: other prices. I'm not saying they're all like thirty two thousand,
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: but I think at one point, like the average ticket
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: was like five hundred dollars. Like, why I've been to
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: a Legion stadium. I did the tour there. It's a
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: great fucking stadium. Supposedly those are the guys who are
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: supposed to work on the Bay Bear Stadium. I really
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: hope that's true. I fucking loved it. The tour was great.
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: In the nosebleeds, you could see everything in the fucking
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: we were on the field, obviously you could see everything.
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: But we're talking about when not a football game. We're
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: talking about twenty ring a little square box in the center.
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: And I think I think with like usually with the
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: indoor stadiums, they don't have like the fucking and I
- 1:13:04Speaker 3: get why they do it. They don't have the fucking
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: giant like uh pavilion thing over the rain to keep
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: them keeper, keep it protected from the elements. I get
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: that this is an indoor so they shouldn't have it.
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: They didn't have it last year. Now I say that
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: I'll watch this year. They'll have it for some fucking reason.
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: But like, why why are you charging me? Actually no,
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: I'm I'm fucking curious. This is a great audio, but like,
- 1:13:26Speaker 3: why why are you charged? Me that much for that
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: for two nights, thirty two thousand dollars, Like what, what
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: the fuck? I don't know what? I mean, I can
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: probably I can probably look it up on CHATGBT or whatever,
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: but like, I don't know what. I don't know what
- 1:13:38Speaker 3: rustled the front Road wrestled Madia costs. When I went
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: at twenty fuck twenty holy shit, twenty years ago, I
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: just realized that I'm old. But like why because here
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: here you okay, here's the thing. Here there were okay,
- 1:13:54Speaker 3: do you remember back in my day, there wasn't a
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: year where they wouldn't promote WrestleMania sold out in two minutes.
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: Not just like the Stadium's WrestleMania sold out in ten minutes.
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: Wrestlemana is sold out in five minutes. When was the
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: last time they promoted that? I couldn't fucking tell you,
- 1:14:15Speaker 3: because the last five or I'm not gonna say five,
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: the last four years, for sure. The prices keep going
- 1:14:21Speaker 3: up and up and up and up, and it's like
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: why I get it? The product. Yeah, it's a good product.
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: I enjoy it. People say right now it sucks, it's
- 1:14:28Speaker 3: I go. It's not anywhere near as as it was
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: eight years ago. That's my way of looking at it.
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: But at the same time, it's like, but I understand
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: the issues of like how much things are costing today
- 1:14:39Speaker 3: as well as oh, well, we don't like what you're
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: doing because tickets are moving, so we're gonna implement this
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: thing because fuck you. But that's not the reason why.
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: It's because tickets. No, it's not because tickets are expensive.
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: If you people will pay, they'll pay for it. No,
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: they won't. The reason why the United Center when I
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: went was packed was because the last two hours, all
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: the ticket it went drastically down. Oh shit, that's why.
- 1:15:04Speaker 3: That's why it was a packed house, because tickets went
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: down Because I literally was like you had to.
- 1:15:10Speaker 4: You had the money of the people who wanted to
- 1:15:12Speaker 4: buy early, and then nobody else would buy, and so
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: eventually you had to make that choice. If you had
- 1:15:17Speaker 4: just I mean, think about think about how more entire,
- 1:15:20Speaker 4: how much more enticing it would be if it did
- 1:15:22Speaker 4: sell out that fast, you know what I'm saying. So
- 1:15:24Speaker 4: if people if they would just lower the prices before that,
- 1:15:28Speaker 4: then like you would get that sellout and you would
- 1:15:30Speaker 4: make it more enticing for people to want to buy
- 1:15:32Speaker 4: the next time and the next time.
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: So essentially the nosebleeds. They're going to charge you around
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: to fifty a pop at night. Now, don't get me wrong,
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: that's expensive, but it's wrestled it's their super Bowl. Like okay,
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: you know what, like, uh, if you're that big of
- 1:15:51Speaker 3: a fan in WrestleMania, I get it. Five hundred bucks
- 1:15:56Speaker 3: for two shows. That's still expensive. But hey, you know
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: what if most people, some people never can get to go.
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: I was fortunately I got to go twenty years ago.
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: But like I can tell right now, I don't know
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: what they paid. It wasn't that.
- 1:16:09Speaker 4: Like damn.
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: But again it's there's no because like I said, like
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: this card is actually really fucking good, Like you got Pro,
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: you got Broken Old, but like that's gonna be fucking
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: king Kong Godzilla. You got the two main events like
- 1:16:24Speaker 3: Cody and Randy's gonna be fun and like yeah, like
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: like like's it's pretty yeah, but like sometimes a story
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: they tell them, the story lying up to is great,
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: Like the Cmpunk Roman reign scene has been really good
- 1:16:33Speaker 3: to a point, but now it's just like here we
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: are again, less than a week out and we're doing
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: the whole up, Well, corporate wanted this. It didn't work,
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: so now we're gonna make it look like we're on
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: your side. Guys. It's like yeah, but like the damage
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: has been done. We already know why you're you're doing.
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: You're doing damage control. H I mean, I'm sorry. You
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: literally had your top guy going lower the ticket prices.
- 1:16:55Speaker 4: On a mic like that's yeah, that's insane. Wonder if
- 1:17:00Speaker 4: there's gonna be any backlash for that for him.
- 1:17:02Speaker 3: I suppose supposedly it was. It was clear, like I
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: suppose it was a little off the cuff, but like suppose,
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: like no, they said, like, hey, mention it because again
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: apparently the corporate people realize, oh, well, the thing you
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: said that didn't work. Okay, here's the funny. It wouldn't work.
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: Here's the funny thing. Did you hear the funny about
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: Pat McAfee. No, originally he turned it down. Oh my god.
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: So something I mean either they paid him more money,
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: which which was probably logic, which is most logical, or
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: they told him what it was going to lead to
- 1:17:33Speaker 3: many go okay, I'll do that, because probably he was
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: like why this is why Why would I want?
- 1:17:37Speaker 4: Why?
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: Why to be involved? That's dumb. We have nothing to
- 1:17:40Speaker 3: do with nothing to do with these two guys. Why
- 1:17:43Speaker 3: would I get involved? Well, some pat we need uh,
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: we need someone to uh kick Cody in the dick.
- 1:17:57Speaker 4: And as you know, you are former kick, so that's
- 1:18:02Speaker 4: gonna be So.
- 1:18:03Speaker 3: This will be the third year where someone kicks him
- 1:18:06Speaker 3: in the dick. So we need the third kick uh
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: to be really big. And by the way, I don't
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: blame Triple A training of this bullshit. I make that
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: very fucking clear. I don't because again, like they're they're
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: doing there now they're gonna do all this like wishy
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: washy like again again here. But the thing that sucks
- 1:18:28Speaker 3: about it this year, at least with like the whole
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: John Cena thing, they had a month to figure something out,
- 1:18:34Speaker 3: which it didn't really work out, but then they've pivoted
- 1:18:37Speaker 3: a couple months later, and then they fixed it right
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: with the rock two years ago, they had like almost
- 1:18:44Speaker 3: two months to figure it out, and it fucking worked.
- 1:18:47Speaker 3: It was awesome, It was fantastic.
- 1:18:51Speaker 4: Now they have a week, they have a week.
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: They literally have one week.
- 1:19:01Speaker 4: We'll figure out who else was technical in two.
- 1:19:04Speaker 3: Weeks because it happened last Friday. And then then you
- 1:19:06Speaker 3: right away it sucks and they had Cody go out
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: there and do something. Yeah, essentially, now they have a
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: week to go. How can we pivot this to make
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: it work? On top of trying to figure out how
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: do we sell more tickets? Because like it's it's not
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: like I'm sorry, like wrestle again, Wrestleman is a thing
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: where it's just like it's the name itself sells because
- 1:19:25Speaker 3: you know what, but who could be on the phone?
- 1:19:29Speaker 3: I mean, the only other person that's logical is the rock.
- 1:19:34Speaker 3: But what you're gonna have the rock come out? And then,
- 1:19:36Speaker 3: by the way, I'm not blaming him for this. I
- 1:19:38Speaker 3: get it. He's a movie star. He's gotta make he's
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: he If he gets hurt, the whole production gets fucked.
- 1:19:46Speaker 3: That's how it works. But he's not gonna be Is
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: he gonna be at work on Monday?
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: No, because he's.
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: Gotta go do a movie. Now here's the thing.
- 1:19:59Speaker 4: Podcast?
- 1:20:00Speaker 3: What's that?
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: Then?
- 1:20:01Speaker 4: Well, it's the same thing with Pat though, was like
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: he gonna be around.
- 1:20:05Speaker 3: No, he literally he literally said a couple months ago
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: he was because allegedly he said no originally, and a
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: couple months ago he was asked like, are you gonna
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: come back? And he said, I don't know, because I
- 1:20:14Speaker 3: think the business has passed me by. I think they're
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: they're fine without me. Like he's like, it's not needed.
- 1:20:19Speaker 3: He said that I'm a live mic.
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: And then.
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: Yeah, and then here's the thing. I'm gonna say this
- 1:20:26Speaker 3: right now, here's why I think it's gonna be the
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: Rock that comes out at some point. Okay, I can't
- 1:20:32Speaker 3: remember where I saw this, but a couple of days
- 1:20:34Speaker 3: ago The Rock, after the Friday Debacle posted a video
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: and as one of those videos of Dad, what were
- 1:20:42Speaker 3: you like in the nineties, and it's just him wrestling. Yeah,
- 1:20:47Speaker 3: that doesn't get posted for any reason other than that,
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: I'm sorry. Like, and then of course you have see
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: him Punk mentioning him Monday and his promo you have
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: Cody Roads sort of allude to him in his response
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: to the Pat McAfee dick Kick should be an episode.
- 1:21:05Speaker 3: I'm gonna put like I'm gonna put like a little
- 1:21:07Speaker 3: uh time, I'm gonna a little extra in the beginning.
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: Every time anyone says dick kick take a drink, Please
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: drive home safely or get home safely. Don't drive home,
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: do not drive home drinking, make that clear. But yeah,
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: and again it's just the third straight year now and
- 1:21:23Speaker 3: I know I said fourth because the rest of May
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: thirty nine, if you look back on it, there it
- 1:21:27Speaker 3: was weird because Vince was gone, but he wasn't. It's
- 1:21:31Speaker 3: a different leadership but different essentially four years in a row,
- 1:21:34Speaker 3: like corporate's gotten involved in the way they shouldn't have
- 1:21:37Speaker 3: and it's made things weird. But now again, but now again,
- 1:21:42Speaker 3: here we are. Every year it's gone progressively short in
- 1:21:46Speaker 3: terms of like when they get involved in how it
- 1:21:47Speaker 3: focks he's there because like, yeah, now they literally have
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: a week. They have a week to figure out how
- 1:21:54Speaker 3: to make this work because it's not even like close.
- 1:21:59Speaker 3: It's pretty much, uh majority hate this ship and also
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: sell more tickets because now here's the thing. I'm even
- 1:22:08Speaker 3: more confused. It's like, Okay, you got Cody, you got
- 1:22:10Speaker 3: seem Punk and Roman reigns like I'm very excited for
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: and again you can allude to like oh yeah, like
- 1:22:16Speaker 3: Punk is calling out the corporate brass because of who
- 1:22:19Speaker 3: Roman's connected to in a certain way. But it's like,
- 1:22:22Speaker 3: at no point, though, has that ever been needed for
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: this rivalry?
- 1:22:25Speaker 4: So like, Okay, it's overshadowed the actual build again, like right.
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: And we're we're a week out, right, Like I'm very
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: excited because it's like it's it's like that's exciting. It's
- 1:22:37Speaker 3: like it's unpredicauent's okay, what are they gonna do with it?
- 1:22:41Speaker 4: Mm hmm.
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: But at the same time, it's also like what are
- 1:22:44Speaker 3: they It's not what are they gonna do with It's okay,
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: how are they gonna follow up on it? Cause it's
- 1:22:48Speaker 3: like you have a week to figure the shit out
- 1:22:51Speaker 3: and then Monday, essentially half of the players involved in
- 1:22:53Speaker 3: this thing or not because half the people who are
- 1:22:57Speaker 3: likely and involved with this saying are not going to
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: be there that Monday.
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: So we don't know.
- 1:23:05Speaker 3: The more things change, the more they say.
- 1:23:06Speaker 4: The thing they really do, like there's always somebody sticking
- 1:23:10Speaker 4: their hand in the pot. And look, look, we could
- 1:23:13Speaker 4: go on and on about this, but like I think
- 1:23:14Speaker 4: if there was a if this had been built up
- 1:23:19Speaker 4: in a long term, it didn't feel like so last minute,
- 1:23:22Speaker 4: maybe our feelings would be different. But it really feels like, Okay,
- 1:23:26Speaker 4: you guys got a good thing going and we're gonna
- 1:23:28Speaker 4: add to it. We're gonna put our guy in there
- 1:23:30Speaker 4: to make sure that we feel good about it, because
- 1:23:35Speaker 4: you know, we got to get Pat over because he's
- 1:23:38Speaker 4: got the ESPN connect, and we got to make sure
- 1:23:40Speaker 4: that that sells, and so let's just throw it in there.
- 1:23:44Speaker 4: It'll work itself out.
- 1:23:45Speaker 6: Well.
- 1:23:45Speaker 4: No, there's the reason these things are are good or
- 1:23:49Speaker 4: effective is that, like, there's there's thought put into it,
- 1:23:52Speaker 4: there's build put into it, not just some random fucking guy.
- 1:23:56Speaker 4: Like what is the connection supposed to between Randy and Pat?
- 1:23:59Speaker 4: Pat is the guy that's like, you gotta you gotta
- 1:24:01Speaker 4: go back to They both.
- 1:24:05Speaker 3: Kick.
- 1:24:07Speaker 4: They're the Kickers. They're the Kickickers of the w w E.
- 1:24:11Speaker 4: They're the Kicking Club, the Kicking Club two thousand, They're the.
- 1:24:14Speaker 3: K C the Kicking Club.
- 1:24:16Speaker 4: Yeah, dude, what the fuck? Man, I'm a little I'm
- 1:24:19Speaker 4: a little upset.
- 1:24:20Speaker 3: I don't want to see.
- 1:24:21Speaker 4: Randy Orton come out with Pat McAfee jumping around behind him.
- 1:24:23Speaker 3: I don't.
- 1:24:24Speaker 4: I don't want to.
- 1:24:24Speaker 3: See the graphic. They put the graphic with Pan and
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: it just looks so fucking awkward. It's just like, again,
- 1:24:31Speaker 3: I'm not I'm not hating up Pat, Like, hey, Pat's
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: came to Patty out of it. Good for him, man.
- 1:24:35Speaker 3: But allegedly when he first said no, it's like, okay,
- 1:24:39Speaker 3: what hypothetically he said yes, because they're like, here's a
- 1:24:42Speaker 3: here's another breaks truck, which I do, anyone would do,
- 1:24:46Speaker 3: or they said like, oh, here's where it's gonna go.
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: But it's like no, Like he supposedly is a giant
- 1:24:50Speaker 3: fan who even though he doesn't work there anymore, he
- 1:24:52Speaker 3: watches every week. Right, but so he like and hiss
- 1:24:57Speaker 3: and even when he was doing his like when he wasn't,
- 1:24:59Speaker 3: he had a pretty good finger on the pulse view
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: of like what the fans liked and didn't like, right,
- 1:25:05Speaker 3: you know, but I don't know, I said, we can
- 1:25:09Speaker 3: go on about this all I know. I know we
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: gotta get out of here. But it's just like, what
- 1:25:12Speaker 3: the again? This is again? Here? We are now third
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: straight year of really I mean four straight year good card,
- 1:25:20Speaker 3: exciting things.
- 1:25:22Speaker 4: And a ladder match. We got a ring mysterial returning
- 1:25:25Speaker 4: in a ladder match.
- 1:25:27Speaker 3: Penta is over or okay, we haven't even go Yeah,
- 1:25:31Speaker 3: we haven't even gone to the biggest fucking debacle already
- 1:25:34Speaker 3: broken off. Fuck we can't sell tickets, break glass of
- 1:25:38Speaker 3: John Cena. If can't sell tickets.
- 1:25:42Speaker 4: Posting it right?
- 1:25:44Speaker 3: Yeah? After last year?
- 1:25:46Speaker 4: What what?
- 1:25:46Speaker 3: What did they have? The guy announced here he is
- 1:25:48Speaker 3: the last real champion for the last time in Las Vegas.
- 1:25:53Speaker 4: I'm done, I'm out.
- 1:25:54Speaker 3: I will never be back, never be back in Las Vegas. Technically,
- 1:26:00Speaker 3: that's when he was wrestling. He didn't wrestle every time
- 1:26:02Speaker 3: he was a Vegas life.
- 1:26:03Speaker 4: You're not going to be wearing jeans, shorts, shorts, That's
- 1:26:07Speaker 4: what it is.
- 1:26:08Speaker 3: I see he wears the shorts.
- 1:26:11Speaker 4: This is John Cena, the man, not John Sena, the wrestler.
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: Different God, John, This is John c Of the ambassador.
- 1:26:18Speaker 3: Now you now you can see me. See the power
- 1:26:22Speaker 3: was of you and not be able to see me.
- 1:26:24Speaker 3: It was because of my jorts. No tie.
- 1:26:27Speaker 4: I've hung up my magic jorts and I'm no longer
- 1:26:30Speaker 4: the man you once knew.
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: Do do do do?
- 1:26:32Speaker 4: This is simply my human mortal form that you see
- 1:26:36Speaker 4: before you.
- 1:26:37Speaker 3: What color scene do you think he wears?
- 1:26:41Speaker 4: Rainbow fruitdy pebble thought? What if he shows up on
- 1:26:44Speaker 4: the whole suit is shorts, A full a full Canadian suit,
- 1:26:50Speaker 4: full suit made of jeorts, repurposed georts. I don't know,
- 1:26:56Speaker 4: I'm still looking forward to the card Man, but yeah, stuff,
- 1:26:58Speaker 4: it leaves the weird taste in my mouth. Honestly, it's
- 1:27:01Speaker 4: it's it'll be hard for me to not want to
- 1:27:03Speaker 4: watch it because it's fucking wrestling, like it's wrestle many.
- 1:27:07Speaker 4: Uh yeah, you don't mean.
- 1:27:09Speaker 3: There are there are literally fans of not even fans,
- 1:27:12Speaker 3: there are former fans of wrestling who don't watch anymore.
- 1:27:15Speaker 3: But every WrestleMania is on this weekend. Okay, it's a thing.
- 1:27:19Speaker 3: It's a thing that makes you go even like I
- 1:27:22Speaker 3: know people who don't watch the NFL anymore, but sure
- 1:27:25Speaker 3: as ship. What do they do in every Super Bowl?
- 1:27:27Speaker 3: They're on the couch with a big of chips because
- 1:27:31Speaker 3: there's literally also on the day. There's literally nothing else
- 1:27:33Speaker 3: on the day of the Super Bowl. But it's like
- 1:27:36Speaker 3: they're watching the game, right.
- 1:27:38Speaker 4: It is what it is, dude. I'm so hyped though,
- 1:27:41Speaker 4: Obafemi and brock Lesner. Brock Lesner has been putting Nova
- 1:27:46Speaker 4: over big time. They were chucking chairs at each other,
- 1:27:49Speaker 4: hitting hitting jobbers in the back of the head. Yes, yes,
- 1:27:55Speaker 4: that's gonna be awesome. We've got this weird tag match
- 1:27:58Speaker 4: with the USO's and l A Knight. Uh, it's not
- 1:28:00Speaker 4: for the tag titles. It's a six man.
- 1:28:02Speaker 3: Whatever it could be for the titles.
- 1:28:04Speaker 4: They could do that, remember when they did that. We're
- 1:28:07Speaker 4: you know, all right, we're gonna have this team and
- 1:28:09Speaker 4: this team, and we got champions on this side, and
- 1:28:12Speaker 4: whoever pins whoever they get that belt, and he could
- 1:28:16Speaker 4: do that. We've got the ladder match, we got the
- 1:28:18Speaker 4: ladies putting in work. We got you know, it's very
- 1:28:23Speaker 4: car The average heights of the two women's matches are
- 1:28:27Speaker 4: both very desperate. But that's okay. We've got fucking of course,
- 1:28:32Speaker 4: we've got what's the US title. We got Trick Williams
- 1:28:35Speaker 4: and Sammy Zain. Yep, Carmela just not.
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: In that match.
- 1:28:39Speaker 3: I'm hoping he gets at it, but probably not.
- 1:28:41Speaker 4: A triple threat would be cool. We don't have any
- 1:28:42Speaker 4: triple threats on the card as of yet. You got
- 1:28:45Speaker 4: Drew and Jacob Fattu going no unsanctioned match in the
- 1:28:49Speaker 4: middle of the card. Probably. I don't know how that
- 1:28:51Speaker 4: works to a sanction match, because you can't. All right, everybody,
- 1:28:58Speaker 4: just close your eyes. It didn't happen to happen.
- 1:29:01Speaker 3: Don't ignore the graphic of us showing it's an un
- 1:29:03Speaker 3: stationed match. I always be like.
- 1:29:06Speaker 4: The hardcore, the hardcore segment of the show, which is
- 1:29:11Speaker 4: kind of like part of WrestleMania. Now, it's like, there's
- 1:29:13Speaker 4: always gonna be this crazy hardcore match. What else we got?
- 1:29:17Speaker 4: We got roma? Is there any other mid card stuff?
- 1:29:21Speaker 3: I see?
- 1:29:22Speaker 4: Title Ladder matches gonna be sick, It's gonna be crypt
- 1:29:24Speaker 4: train wreck like every other fucking ladder matches. Hopefully nobody
- 1:29:28Speaker 4: fucking breaks their ship. But then what else?
- 1:29:32Speaker 3: I mean? It really it comes down now too, like
- 1:29:34Speaker 3: again with the two main events. What happens because now
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: they're both somewhat summer intertwined.
- 1:29:40Speaker 4: Oh and we got Seth versus Gunther for fucking whatever reason.
- 1:29:45Speaker 3: Oho, although that Dred believe they're doing this the favor again,
- 1:29:49Speaker 3: it's gonna be Gunther wants to fight Rock later in
- 1:29:52Speaker 3: the year. That's one hundred percent. While they're doing it,
- 1:29:56Speaker 3: him was like thanking and he's like, you don't think me,
- 1:29:58Speaker 3: you owe me?
- 1:30:00Speaker 4: Like I get it.
- 1:30:01Speaker 3: It's one hundred percent what they're doing with it.
- 1:30:03Speaker 4: It's a weird spot for Gunther to be in after
- 1:30:05Speaker 4: retiring three legends and then yeah, I just don't have
- 1:30:08Speaker 4: anything for you, dude.
- 1:30:09Speaker 3: No, it's better than him not having a match at all.
- 1:30:11Speaker 3: That's why I look at it and him and Seth. Honestly,
- 1:30:14Speaker 3: I think I'm not joking. I think that will literally
- 1:30:16Speaker 3: be the match of the weekend.
- 1:30:17Speaker 4: Really, if that match sucks, then what the fuck? If
- 1:30:21Speaker 4: that match is not good, I would be that match.
- 1:30:23Speaker 3: If that match sucks, then then I'm telling them the
- 1:30:26Speaker 3: Pat mcafhaeth. They wasn't gonna call because I will. There's
- 1:30:28Speaker 3: no fucking like what.
- 1:30:31Speaker 4: Yeah, so we've got a couple of grudge matches, mid
- 1:30:33Speaker 4: card titles. Uh, what are the SmackDown tag titles looking like?
- 1:30:37Speaker 4: Do we have a match? Probably not right, No, of
- 1:30:40Speaker 4: course not. We've got the Wyatts, We've got we've got
- 1:30:43Speaker 4: the Family Trades.
- 1:30:44Speaker 3: That's the sext of we're wrestling it. There's a there's
- 1:30:46Speaker 3: a lot of good matches on the there's a lot
- 1:30:48Speaker 3: of guys who are on the car.
- 1:30:49Speaker 4: There's a lot something that doesn't happen. Yeah, yeah, again
- 1:30:52Speaker 4: you can't.
- 1:30:52Speaker 3: And here's the thing. Here's the one thing I don't understand.
- 1:30:55Speaker 3: They do this Andre Memorial batroll every year and now
- 1:30:59Speaker 3: it's on SmackDown. Why is in a WrestleMania Oh we
- 1:31:01Speaker 3: don't have that? Yeah, you fuck you can make fucking
- 1:31:03Speaker 3: don't have two nights. You have two nights. I'm sorry.
- 1:31:06Speaker 4: You really can't like the idea that we're given more matches,
- 1:31:09Speaker 4: more time, But like's not it's.
- 1:31:12Speaker 3: Not pay per view anymore, it's little. You're on a
- 1:31:14Speaker 3: streaming service, so it's like you can control how long
- 1:31:16Speaker 3: you're on there. You want to go eight hours, fucking
- 1:31:20Speaker 3: do it. They'd be dumb, but fucking do it.
- 1:31:22Speaker 4: Okay, So who what do you think is gonna happen?
- 1:31:24Speaker 4: Who goes over? Is Punk or Roman?
- 1:31:28Speaker 3: I'm hoping. I think that one's more predictable than the Seat,
- 1:31:34Speaker 3: than our or in Seat or Sina or in Roads,
- 1:31:37Speaker 3: But I'm gonna go I'm hoping Punk. I could see
- 1:31:39Speaker 3: them doing Roman because I think, I honestly do think
- 1:31:43Speaker 3: they want I think they're I think they're gonna trying
- 1:31:45Speaker 3: to get Rock next year, and I.
- 1:31:47Speaker 4: Think they think Roman holds it for the year until
- 1:31:50Speaker 4: I think.
- 1:31:50Speaker 3: Roman holds it for the air and fights Rock next
- 1:31:52Speaker 3: year for the for the chip. I don't mind. That's
- 1:31:55Speaker 3: where my brain goes. My heart is hoping Punk but
- 1:31:59Speaker 3: I do think. I do think here's the thing. I
- 1:32:01Speaker 3: think with both nights we're gonna get a bunch of
- 1:32:03Speaker 3: shmash ship because like with all the involvement with everyone, now,
- 1:32:06Speaker 3: like you can't tell me why have like interference, I'll
- 1:32:08Speaker 3: be asked.
- 1:32:09Speaker 4: With both these fights, I would be surprised if we
- 1:32:11Speaker 4: don't see some kind of interference based on like Punk's
- 1:32:14Speaker 4: comments about family, because that was like the original build
- 1:32:18Speaker 4: before the pipe bombay, yeah, pump pipe bomb Fallia do
- 1:32:24Speaker 4: or whatever the fucking shower sequel is called.
- 1:32:28Speaker 3: But then for the other one, I have to go
- 1:32:29Speaker 3: Randy one because I just think like nine of the
- 1:32:31Speaker 3: crowd is happy with I just think like, if you
- 1:32:33Speaker 3: want to continue this thing, you gotta If you have
- 1:32:35Speaker 3: him lose the first time, that it's like, then what's
- 1:32:37Speaker 3: the fucking point.
- 1:32:38Speaker 4: What was the point of Roads getting his nuts kicked? No,
- 1:32:41Speaker 4: I really wanted Randy to win. I really hope he does.
- 1:32:44Speaker 4: I really hope you get a good heel run.
- 1:32:46Speaker 3: And it's not just like we're.
- 1:32:47Speaker 4: Gonna make this change for manim and then ah we're
- 1:32:50Speaker 4: all good, like a worst version of the Scena turns.
- 1:32:55Speaker 4: But this whole pat Mcam McAfee thing is, can we
- 1:33:00Speaker 4: kind of wish it doesn't happen because I'm a little
- 1:33:03Speaker 4: shitty about that, But I still hope that we get
- 1:33:06Speaker 4: Orton with the fifteenth rain after going full psycho again.
- 1:33:10Speaker 4: And even though I guess so, Pat McAfee somehow is
- 1:33:13Speaker 4: the capability to make people go crazy over the phone.
- 1:33:19Speaker 4: But you know what, fuck it, Give her Andy orton
- 1:33:21Speaker 4: the belt, give it a make it, make it a
- 1:33:23Speaker 4: good match. We're gonna see some interference from Pat McAfee.
- 1:33:29Speaker 4: Tody's nuts are gonna get fucking demolished. But I still
- 1:33:34Speaker 4: think it'll be good and I'm still gonna watch it.
- 1:33:37Speaker 4: And maybe I'm the problem. Maybe I'm the problem.
- 1:33:41Speaker 3: But all on that note, we're gonna get out of here.
- 1:33:44Speaker 3: I need to go work out. Else I need to
- 1:33:46Speaker 3: go pee.
- 1:33:47Speaker 4: So if I gotta piss and I gotta go make
- 1:33:50Speaker 4: a meat.
