- 0:23Speaker 5: the people of this country. This message must be read
- 0:26Speaker 5: in every newspaper, heard on every radio scene, on every television.
- 0:30Speaker 5: This message must resound throughout the entire anging.
- 0:34Speaker 6: And no, your host, I believe this is going to
- 0:36Speaker 6: be our fine stylee.
- 1:00Speaker 7: The weekend already over.
- 1:03Speaker 8: Seemed like it was just getting started and then now
- 1:05Speaker 8: here it is over.
- 1:06Speaker 9: It's not even fair.
- 1:08Speaker 8: Goes by way way way too fast. Good afternoon, Welcome
- 1:14Speaker 8: to Chris X Radio. I'm the aforem interned X man.
- 1:16Speaker 8: Glad to have you here on the Voice of Texas
- 1:19Speaker 8: on Chris X Radio. Oh it's a hell of a week,
- 1:22Speaker 8: isn't it. The uh y know, I'm looking at the
- 1:26Speaker 8: temperature in my area.
- 1:27Speaker 9: It says one.
- 1:27Speaker 8: Oh one right now, one oh one. Man. It is hot.
- 1:37Speaker 9: It is very hot. It got hot quick.
- 1:41Speaker 8: It seemed you seem to warm up a little sooner
- 1:44Speaker 8: than normal.
- 1:44Speaker 9: I guess this year we were in Texas.
- 1:49Speaker 8: Like I said, somebody that asked, hey, what is the
- 1:50Speaker 8: weather like in Texas in August? And the response is
- 1:53Speaker 8: have you ever been cremated. Well, there you go, there's
- 1:57Speaker 8: the weather in Texas once again.
- 1:58Speaker 9: Welcome to the program. I'm the aforementioned next man.
- 2:01Speaker 8: Glad to have here with us on the first day
- 2:04Speaker 8: of the week of our two hundred and fiftieth anniversary.
- 2:09Speaker 8: That's right, this week, well Mark, we'll celebrate July fourth,
- 2:13Speaker 8: coming to Saturday, that will be the two hundred and
- 2:16Speaker 8: fiftieth anniversary of these great United States of America.
- 2:22Speaker 9: But don't worry.
- 2:23Speaker 8: Only eight percent of Democrats describe America as the greatest country,
- 2:27Speaker 8: while sixteen percent said among the greatest, twenty three percent
- 2:31Speaker 8: describe America as worse than average, and fifteen percent say
- 2:35Speaker 8: is among the worst. I was watching on what was
- 2:42Speaker 8: on Twitter earlier, more of the some of the World
- 2:44Speaker 8: Cup reactions watching these fans, These World Cup fans come
- 2:48Speaker 8: over here and they're just the Japanese fans. Went to
- 2:51Speaker 8: a Mexican restaurant and the back and forth was amazing.
- 2:56Speaker 8: They said, our food was already being delivered to the
- 2:58Speaker 8: table before we ordered it. And then they had to
- 3:01Speaker 8: ask the waiter. They said, hey, listen, we hold on,
- 3:04Speaker 8: we haven't ordered the food, and the waiter said, no,
- 3:05Speaker 8: it's okay. These are chips and sausa. They're free. It's like,
- 3:08Speaker 8: but no, we have not earned these. They just come
- 3:10Speaker 8: with the table. Man, that's it. So then he they
- 3:15Speaker 8: ate the chips and they were like, wow, this is crazy.
- 3:17Speaker 8: We get to eat chips and salsa for free. And
- 3:19Speaker 8: then here comes another but you know, play the chips
- 3:23Speaker 8: and more salsa. They says, chips and salsa unrequested, free,
- 3:28Speaker 8: stop the waiter. We have not earned these. They just
- 3:31Speaker 8: come with the table. Hospitality is a debt. Now it's
- 3:36Speaker 8: different here in America. Things are different. It's unbelievable to
- 3:40Speaker 8: these people from Japan. They come over here like, wait,
- 3:43Speaker 8: this doesn't make sense. None of this makes any sense. Well,
- 3:50Speaker 8: you're right, it doesn't even make sense here. But this
- 3:52Speaker 8: is They love America, looking at the various people from
- 3:55Speaker 8: all over the world. My god, they come over to
- 3:58Speaker 8: this country and go, this is the most amazing, greatest country.
- 4:01Speaker 8: And we got spooled rotten brats that live here in
- 4:04Speaker 8: our country.
- 4:05Speaker 9: That are what they hate it. They hate America.
- 4:08Speaker 8: They want to go to one of these other third
- 4:10Speaker 8: world hell holls, apparently not to Haiti. They've determined they
- 4:14Speaker 8: agree with President Trump. Haiti is now a crap hole.
- 4:17Speaker 8: You can't send the temporary protected status Haitians back to
- 4:20Speaker 8: their craphole nation, but they'll attack Trump for calling it
- 4:24Speaker 8: a crap hole. All right. By the way, coming up
- 4:28Speaker 8: at the bottom of the hour, we have historian and writer.
- 4:31Speaker 8: He's a host of the Sons of History podcast. His
- 4:34Speaker 8: name is Alan Wackeem. He has a three part series
- 4:38Speaker 8: with a couple of articles that are already posted over
- 4:40Speaker 8: the Epic Times. The first is titled a Resolution for Independence.
- 4:45Speaker 8: The second two hundred and fifty years ago South Carolina
- 4:49Speaker 8: defeats the British Empire. We're gonna catch up with Alan,
- 4:52Speaker 8: we'll talk about it's two articles that have already been released,
- 4:54Speaker 8: so you can go follow along if you want and
- 4:56Speaker 8: go read them over the Epic Times or and then
- 4:59Speaker 8: we'll we'll get to his third article as well. So
- 5:02Speaker 8: we got a lot to talk with Alan about. We'll
- 5:03Speaker 8: be celebrating the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary all week.
- 5:07Speaker 8: I've got my seventeen seventy six twenty twenty six shirt on.
- 5:10Speaker 9: I've got the what is it?
- 5:11Speaker 8: This is two hundred and fifty years I got a
- 5:16Speaker 8: few shirts for the anniversary of the celebration.
- 5:20Speaker 9: So I've got those on so I'll be admiring that if.
- 5:23Speaker 8: By the way, if you're watching the video, we always
- 5:25Speaker 8: stream the video over at the it's I didn't see
- 5:29Speaker 8: it on Facebook earlier, but I saw it on Twitter X.
- 5:33Speaker 8: We are on Twitter X. Oh yeah, you can see
- 5:35Speaker 8: on Twitter X right now, the seventeen seventy six, twenty
- 5:37Speaker 8: twenty six right on there. And then, of course, if
- 5:40Speaker 8: you want to go watch the video later if you're listening,
- 5:43Speaker 8: don't don't try to pull the video up while you're
- 5:44Speaker 8: driving waiting. Then go check it out later. So the
- 5:48Speaker 8: videos are always posted immediately upon completion of the program.
- 5:51Speaker 8: And I said there Aaron until then. So the KSEV
- 5:55Speaker 8: radio page, you can also go to rumble or YouTube
- 5:58Speaker 8: and you can always find the program him and those locations.
- 6:01Speaker 8: So if you want to go check out my I'll
- 6:04Speaker 8: be wearing my independent shirts all week. So and by
- 6:08Speaker 8: the way, yeah, this is coming up on the Friday
- 6:10Speaker 8: or Saturday is the fourth of July. I cannot believe
- 6:14Speaker 8: it is already the fourth of July. We always have
- 6:19Speaker 8: wings over here. No wait, sorry, we have Freedom over Houston.
- 6:22Speaker 8: We have wings over Houston every year. But it's not
- 6:23Speaker 8: on July fourth. The Amigos always broadcast live from Wings
- 6:28Speaker 8: Over Houston. By the way, I think the Amigos will
- 6:30Speaker 8: be a best of this coming Friday. I think they're
- 6:33Speaker 8: taking the Friday off for the holiday. So I listened
- 6:36Speaker 8: to the Amigos on Friday. They weren't able to get
- 6:38Speaker 8: their very special guests on, so but it was understandable.
- 6:43Speaker 8: He was sort of at the White House. And then
- 6:45Speaker 8: today we've got a lot going on, some responses from
- 6:49Speaker 8: the White House, the Supreme Court. It's Supreme Court season,
- 6:52Speaker 8: as Dana Lash was saying earlier, and it is.
- 6:54Speaker 9: They have all kinds of rulings.
- 6:56Speaker 8: They ruled today that state laws allow for the county
- 7:00Speaker 8: mail in ballots after election day, that they're not in
- 7:03Speaker 8: violation of federal law. This is, of course, you know,
- 7:08Speaker 8: tough for the President Trump administration and the Republican National
- 7:11Speaker 8: Committee because we're tired of watching elections be determined days
- 7:15Speaker 8: and weeks later, election days done, it's election day over.
- 7:18Speaker 8: We got looks like a winner, and then sorry, we're
- 7:21Speaker 8: just going to keep counting ballance. Now supposedly they're only
- 7:25Speaker 8: going to count ballots that are either you know, postmarked,
- 7:29Speaker 8: the day of the election or before. I think if
- 7:34Speaker 8: we're going to do this way, I think that we
- 7:36Speaker 8: should probably make it. If you're going to do mail
- 7:40Speaker 8: in ballots, you should have to have them in by
- 7:41Speaker 8: a certain date. Therefore they're in by election day, and
- 7:45Speaker 8: anything that isn't in by election day it does not
- 7:48Speaker 8: count because otherwise it just goes on and on and on.
- 7:52Speaker 8: But for some reason, well, five to four ruling Amy
- 7:56Speaker 8: Cony Barrett and John Roberts. They joined Sonya Sultomahana the
- 8:03Speaker 8: wise Latina, Alena Keigan the wis softball player, and Kataji
- 8:07Speaker 8: Brown Jackson the wise idiot. The two principles that are
- 8:11Speaker 8: important here well post election day receipt. Okay, yeah, it's
- 8:16Speaker 8: always a bad sign when you find yourself in agreement
- 8:19Speaker 8: with the the.
- 8:24Speaker 9: We'll just say the idiots of the court.
- 8:26Speaker 8: The Supreme Court also ruled today that Congress cannot shield
- 8:30Speaker 8: the heads of independent regulatory agencies from presidential removal and
- 8:35Speaker 8: overturned a landmark nineteen thirty five president. They also ruled
- 8:40Speaker 8: it's funny they blocked President Trump's attempt to remove Federal
- 8:43Speaker 8: Reserve Governor Lisa Cook, ruling that the president failed to
- 8:46Speaker 8: provide her the procedural protections required by law. It was
- 8:52Speaker 8: another five or decision, So there you. This one, though,
- 9:00Speaker 8: is interesting because that's some different people up. Also, this
- 9:04Speaker 8: is kind of crazy. President Trump vowed to continue to
- 9:06Speaker 8: fight the e Gen Carroll lawsuit brought against him after
- 9:11Speaker 8: the Supreme Court declined to consider that case. Today, Trump
- 9:14Speaker 8: took this true social to respond to the decision.
- 9:18Speaker 9: We can get into that. We got the Democrat.
- 9:21Speaker 8: Well, a Democrat nominee for the Texas Land Commissioner position
- 9:24Speaker 8: has defended James Tallerico James Tallafrico at the state convention
- 9:31Speaker 8: last week.
- 9:32Speaker 9: Ben Flouries told.
- 9:34Speaker 8: The crowd at the Texas Democrat convention in Corpus, the
- 9:37Speaker 8: next time they say James's trans, we're all trans. When
- 9:41Speaker 8: they say that James is a gay tofu eating vegan,
- 9:44Speaker 8: we're all gay tofu eating vegans. And when he says
- 9:49Speaker 8: James is going to hell, we all say we're going
- 9:51Speaker 8: to hell. I don't know about how well that strategy
- 9:57Speaker 8: is gonna play out, but we'll play that audio coming
- 9:58Speaker 8: up for you as well. And then on Sundays NBCs
- 10:02Speaker 8: Meet the Depressed, Meet the Depressed Democrat. Senator Chris Murphy
- 10:06Speaker 8: said that President Trump is trying to rig the election
- 10:09Speaker 8: with the Save America Act, making people prove their citizens
- 10:14Speaker 8: of this country by showing a form of ID that
- 10:19Speaker 8: is legally.
- 10:22Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 10:22Speaker 8: I haven't anyone that has in trouble getting an ID,
- 10:25Speaker 8: but for some reason that just that, oh, we can't
- 10:28Speaker 8: do this. Oh no, no, no, no, that's trying to rig elections.
- 10:33Speaker 8: Who do you think are voting in these elections, mister Murphy.
- 10:37Speaker 8: I think he knows exactly who's voting in elections, and
- 10:40Speaker 8: that's why the Democrats are so dug in.
- 10:42Speaker 9: RFK Junior and doctor Oz say.
- 10:44Speaker 8: That more than one million people without Social Security numbers
- 10:48Speaker 8: have enrolled in Obamacare.
- 10:53Speaker 9: There's no fraud there. I'm sure.
- 10:54Speaker 6: I'm sure.
- 10:55Speaker 8: Everything's just fine. It's all good, it's fine, everything's fine.
- 11:00Speaker 10: All right.
- 11:00Speaker 8: So let's listen to the Democrat nominee for Texas Land
- 11:04Speaker 8: Commissioner and hear what he had to say about Tallafrico,
- 11:07Speaker 8: mister James running for office.
- 11:10Speaker 11: Next time they say that James is trans, we're all trans.
- 11:15Speaker 11: When they say James is a gay to fal eating vegan,
- 11:21Speaker 11: we're all gay, total eating vegans. And when they say
- 11:25Speaker 11: James is going to hell.
- 11:30Speaker 8: Row with him.
- 11:32Speaker 4: We'll say we're all going to hell.
- 11:37Speaker 8: But jokes on them? Is it? Once again, the more
- 11:43Speaker 8: that comes out from when mister Tallafrico says, the more
- 11:47Speaker 8: we realize he is a radical leftist. That along as
- 11:51Speaker 8: being a fanboy of a training podcast, so he's a
- 11:54Speaker 8: big fan of the Trans podcast. He was just such
- 11:57Speaker 8: a fanboy and so excited about this is gonna be
- 12:06Speaker 8: a very It's hilarious because we got James Tallafreco for
- 12:10Speaker 8: the Democrats, and then we got Ken Paxton, So we
- 12:12Speaker 8: got one guy.
- 12:13Speaker 9: You've got the wonky eyed guy.
- 12:17Speaker 8: Who looks kind of weird, Ken Paxton, and then he
- 12:20Speaker 8: got Pedo O'Rourke. So there's that somebody called James Tellafreco
- 12:24Speaker 8: over the weekend Pedo O'Rourke and I'm like, what, Oh,
- 12:31Speaker 8: that was funny. I didn't say it.
- 12:32Speaker 9: I just heard people tell me things.
- 12:37Speaker 8: Oh so Bete O'Rourke wasn't good enough, I guess, so
- 12:40Speaker 8: they had to move on to Trans and Pato O'Rourke.
- 12:43Speaker 8: So it's kind of weird. H I think we live
- 12:47Speaker 8: in bizarre times. All right, let's go and take a break.
- 12:49Speaker 8: We'll come back, we can get into some of these
- 12:51Speaker 8: rulings with the Supreme Court, and then we'll pick up
- 12:54Speaker 8: with our guest. He's a historian, a writer. He's a
- 12:56Speaker 8: host of the Sons of History podcast. He's got three
- 13:00Speaker 8: part series. A couple of articles are already posted over
- 13:03Speaker 8: the Epic Times. It is Alan Joaquim. He will join
- 13:08Speaker 8: us here at the bottom of the hour, not the
- 13:09Speaker 8: next segment, but the following. So we'll take a break,
- 13:12Speaker 8: we'll come back, we'll pick up, and then like I said,
- 13:14Speaker 8: we'll talk with Alan Jaquim here at the bottom of
- 13:16Speaker 8: the hour. I'm looking forward to catching up with them.
- 13:18Speaker 8: All the guy studies history, oh Man does he study
- 13:21Speaker 8: history and he goes and visits historical sites and does
- 13:25Speaker 8: really cool stuff.
- 13:26Speaker 9: If you haven't been able to check out.
- 13:28Speaker 8: The Sons of History podcast, if you're remotely interested in
- 13:31Speaker 8: American history, you really need to check it out. To
- 13:34Speaker 8: make sure you're reading Allen's work over at the Epic Times,
- 13:38Speaker 8: because we've got the first article came out, was it
- 13:41Speaker 8: last week? A resolution for independence? And then this is
- 13:44Speaker 8: the second article just came out yesterday. Two hundred and
- 13:47Speaker 8: fifty years ago, South Carolina defeats the British Empire. All right,
- 13:52Speaker 8: you're listening to Chris X Radio. We're just getting started.
- 13:54Speaker 8: Don't you go anywhere. We'll be right back.
- 14:02Speaker 12: Chris Les Radio Radio Radio. Hello friends, Let's be honest.

- 17:37Speaker 8: with America.
- 17:38Speaker 9: Saturday is July fourth.
- 17:40Speaker 8: I'm looking forward to celebrating the two hundred and fiftieth
- 17:44Speaker 8: anniversary of this great nation we call America, this experiment
- 17:48Speaker 8: in democracy. And if you're watching New York, they're trying
- 17:52Speaker 8: to change it to communism, socialism, whatever. But for those
- 17:57Speaker 8: of us here in the great State of Texas, the
- 17:59Speaker 8: greatest country that ever existed in tandem with the United
- 18:03Speaker 8: States of America. Okay, I get it. Yeah, so we're
- 18:08Speaker 8: doing pretty good. We'll celebrate July fourth of this coming Saturday.
- 18:12Speaker 8: I cannot believe it is already July fourth, and that
- 18:14Speaker 8: explains why. Oh wait, it has dropped a couple degrees
- 18:17Speaker 8: over here in Myria. It's down to ninety nine. Oh man,
- 18:20Speaker 8: that's a cold front.
- 18:21Speaker 9: I'm getting a little chilly.
- 18:24Speaker 8: Maybe I need to go put on another one of
- 18:25Speaker 8: my America shirts. I got my America two hundred and fiftieth,
- 18:30Speaker 8: seventeen seventy six, twenty twenty six, and then two hundred
- 18:33Speaker 8: and fiftieth Birthday of America's shirt on. If you're watching
- 18:36Speaker 8: over at any of our platforms. You can always go
- 18:39Speaker 8: see it over it on Rumble or YouTube or Twitter
- 18:44Speaker 8: x We've I've shared it over there as well, so
- 18:47Speaker 8: you can go find it to any of those. Of course, Facebook,
- 18:49Speaker 8: I just shared it on Facebook as well, so you
- 18:52Speaker 8: can go check it out over there, and then so
- 18:55Speaker 8: do that if you're not driving. If you're out driving,
- 18:57Speaker 8: then keep both hands on the wheel. Realize that will
- 19:00Speaker 8: be posted as soon as it's done, so you can
- 19:02Speaker 8: always go watch it later. But I've got my shirt,
- 19:05Speaker 8: my America shirt. I'm gonna be wearing a shirt like
- 19:07Speaker 8: this all week long, all America's shirts this week. That's
- 19:10Speaker 8: how I'm rolling. That's what I'm doing here on the
- 19:13Speaker 8: two hundred and fiftieth anniversary here of America.
- 19:16Speaker 9: I am once again, it's funny.
- 19:18Speaker 8: I'm always proud of America because this is the greatest
- 19:20Speaker 8: country that has ever existed. Watching all of the people
- 19:25Speaker 8: from Europe or Japan or Korea come over here for
- 19:29Speaker 8: the World Cup La Fiva has been incredible. They're amazed
- 19:34Speaker 8: at what we have and how amazing this country is.
- 19:37Speaker 8: And then realize as much as these people come over
- 19:40Speaker 8: here and see what is actually available and what we
- 19:42Speaker 8: have to offer.
- 19:42Speaker 9: Here in America.
- 19:44Speaker 8: Only eight percent of Democrats describe America as the greatest country,
- 19:50Speaker 8: sixteen percent it's among the greatest. These obviously are people
- 19:55Speaker 8: that don't go to other countries, or you got twenty
- 20:00Speaker 8: three percent of Democrats describing America as worse than average.
- 20:04Speaker 8: I mean, what are these other countries that I don't
- 20:07Speaker 8: know about that are better than America? Can somebody enlighten
- 20:11Speaker 8: me on those I don't know? Fifteen percent that the
- 20:15Speaker 8: United States is among the worst country, and four percent
- 20:18Speaker 8: in America is the worst altogether.
- 20:21Speaker 9: Happy two hundred and fifty America.
- 20:23Speaker 8: Happy to two hundred and fiftyth the birthday from.
- 20:28Speaker 9: The Democrats who hate everything.
- 20:31Speaker 8: They hate you, they hate me, they hate celebrating America.
- 20:33Speaker 8: They hate the reflecting pond, so they're reflecting pools, so
- 20:36Speaker 8: they're cutting that up, tearing it up, put in an algae,
- 20:39Speaker 8: destroying everything. They just hate everything except apparently their their
- 20:45Speaker 8: freedom to hate the country. If yeah, if I figured
- 20:49Speaker 8: if I lived in a country that I really hated,
- 20:51Speaker 8: especially one that doesn't, you know, force people to stay there,
- 20:55Speaker 8: I think I'd leave the country. I mean, would you
- 20:59Speaker 8: stay in a country that you really hate. Why would
- 21:02Speaker 8: you stay there? Oh, because maybe I have opportunities here
- 21:06Speaker 8: i have elsewhere. Okay, well, maybe you ought include that
- 21:09Speaker 8: in your discernment, dear genius. Anyway, coming up here in
- 21:15Speaker 8: the next segment, we've got Alan Joaquim. He's a historian,
- 21:18Speaker 8: a writer. He's a host of the Sons of History podcast.
- 21:21Speaker 8: He has a three part series with a couple of
- 21:23Speaker 8: articles that are already posted over the Epic Times. By
- 21:26Speaker 8: the way, I'm not giving anything away. I want you
- 21:28Speaker 8: guys to go read them. The first one, which I've
- 21:31Speaker 8: already read, is a resolution for independence. And then the
- 21:33Speaker 8: second article came out yesterday two hundred and fifty years
- 21:37Speaker 8: ago South Carolina defeats the British Empire. It's pretty good.
- 21:42Speaker 8: He's got a third article in tandem that will be
- 21:44Speaker 8: coming out probably sometime this week, so we'll we'll talk.
- 21:49Speaker 9: About that as well.
- 21:50Speaker 8: I always enjoy talking with Alan because he's such a
- 21:53Speaker 8: history buff. I mean, he's a historian so and his
- 21:56Speaker 8: writing is great over the Epic Time. So I encourage
- 21:59Speaker 8: you to go read his work, but also to watch
- 22:01Speaker 8: the Sons of History.
- 22:02Speaker 9: His podcast is great.
- 22:04Speaker 8: He does a great job on it, and it is
- 22:06Speaker 8: like I said, it's really good him and his partner,
- 22:08Speaker 8: and they do a great job. So I truly enjoy
- 22:12Speaker 8: his podcast. It's just it's fun to watch. And like
- 22:15Speaker 8: I said, also just looking at his enjoyment of our
- 22:19Speaker 8: history and how well you talk about somebody who knows
- 22:21Speaker 8: what a great country is. It's really hard to gauge
- 22:24Speaker 8: how great this nation is if you haven't taken the
- 22:27Speaker 8: opportunity to go and study the history. Now, just like
- 22:30Speaker 8: every other country, Yeah, there's issues. We've not been perfect,
- 22:35Speaker 8: but then again, last time I checked, neither has anyone else.
- 22:40Speaker 8: There are no other perfect nations, at least not from
- 22:43Speaker 8: what I've seen, and from what I gather, there is
- 22:47Speaker 8: more opportunity in this great nation than any other on
- 22:50Speaker 8: the planet.
- 22:51Speaker 9: It's not even close.
- 22:52Speaker 8: If you doubt how great America is, go look and
- 22:55Speaker 8: listen to these people that have come from Europe, people
- 22:59Speaker 8: from Norway, people from you name it, all over the
- 23:02Speaker 8: world that have come here to enjoy the World Cup,
- 23:05Speaker 8: and they're blown away.
- 23:06Speaker 9: The Japanese people go into a Mexican.
- 23:09Speaker 8: Restaurant and can't even fathom they're getting free chips in salsa.
- 23:14Speaker 8: They don't that stuff doesn't happen in other countries, so
- 23:19Speaker 8: it's pretty amazing. Anyway, let's go ahead and take a break.
- 23:21Speaker 8: We'll come back catch up with our guest. Alan Joaquim
- 23:23Speaker 8: will join us here next and we'll get into it.
- 23:25Speaker 8: We'll dive into both of these articles over at the
- 23:28Speaker 8: Epic Times and we can talk about some of the breakdown.
- 23:32Speaker 8: Once again, it's always hard to interview Alan because there's
- 23:36Speaker 8: so much information, because the guy's such a history buff.
- 23:39Speaker 8: We'll try to keep it to the three articles. And also,
- 23:42Speaker 8: of course you can see they're lining right up with
- 23:45Speaker 8: the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary of this great experiment
- 23:49Speaker 8: in democracy, the republic known as the United States of America.
- 23:54Speaker 8: All right, don't you go anywhere. Alan Joaquim joins us
- 23:56Speaker 8: here next on chris X Radio.

- 24:31Speaker 19: all the scary stuff we've been through, it's still true
- 24:34Speaker 19: that timing is everything and the time to buy is now.
- 24:37Speaker 19: But don't go looking without a solid pre approval in hand.
- 24:41Speaker 19: And this includes an application and a detailed discussion about
- 24:44Speaker 19: property taxes. If you didn't have the talk, you know
- 24:47Speaker 19: about property taxes, you really don't know what you're pre
- 24:51Speaker 19: approved for. That should make you wonder what else they
- 24:53Speaker 19: may have left out. Mortgages are personal. Let's face it,
- 24:56Speaker 19: We're dealing with your home and your money, and it
- 24:58Speaker 19: doesn't get much more personal than that. When it's the
- 25:01Speaker 19: largest transaction that most people will ever be involved in.
- 25:04Speaker 19: Imagine having someone on your side looking out after you.
- 25:08Speaker 19: What a concept. We audit your closing statement to make
- 25:10Speaker 19: sure you're not paying for things that you're not supposed

- 25:33Speaker 20: more than Nadanta.
- 25:36Speaker 4: Hunt.
- 25:37Speaker 21: We gotta call late New Year's seed. I'll father with
- 25:39Speaker 21: big plans for his family. The next day said his
- 25:41Speaker 21: garage or spring just snapped. He couldn't get his car
- 25:44Speaker 21: out and wouldn't be able to get his family to
- 25:45Speaker 21: where they needed to go.
- 25:47Speaker 4: He felt stuck and alone.
- 25:48Speaker 21: So we showed up fast with the right spring and
- 25:51Speaker 21: the right parts to fix it right. We didn't talk
- 25:53Speaker 21: about the price. We didn't wait till the morning. We
- 25:55Speaker 21: fixed it right then. Because at Garage Store Doctor, it's
- 25:59Speaker 21: never just about the job. It's about the person behind it,
- 26:02Speaker 21: the dad, the veteran, the grandpa, the neighbor. Hi, I'm Tommy,

- 26:30Speaker 23: And now Mac to Chris X Radio on the Voice
- 26:33Speaker 23: of Texas.
- 26:52Speaker 8: Welcome back to Chris X Radio. It is time to
- 26:54Speaker 8: catch up with our guest. Alan Joaquim joins us.
- 26:56Speaker 24: Now.
- 26:56Speaker 8: He is a historian. He's also a writer. He's the
- 26:59Speaker 8: host of the Suns of History podcast. He's got a
- 27:03Speaker 8: three part series. Now. Two of the articles have already
- 27:06Speaker 8: been posted over the Epic Times. The first one is
- 27:09Speaker 8: titled two hundred and fifty years Ago, a Resolution for Independence.
- 27:13Speaker 8: And then the second article two hundred fifty years ago,
- 27:16Speaker 8: South Carolina defeats the British Empire. Now, these are the
- 27:19Speaker 8: first two in a series of three that are coming
- 27:21Speaker 8: up here. Well, just wow, interesting timing here with the
- 27:24Speaker 8: two hundred and fiftieth anniversary of this great experiment we
- 27:28Speaker 8: call America. Alan, thank you so much for being here
- 27:30Speaker 8: this afternoon. Always great to catch up with you.
- 27:32Speaker 13: Nowady Chris, it's always an honor being with you.
- 27:36Speaker 9: Well, it's great to have you on the program.
- 27:37Speaker 8: I know you're big and moved on to television interviews
- 27:40Speaker 8: and things, so I appreciate you slumming it with us
- 27:42Speaker 8: here on the radio this afternoon.
- 27:43Speaker 9: So I'm glad to have you on the program.
- 27:46Speaker 13: Well, I remember the little people who are always there
- 27:49Speaker 13: for us in the early days.
- 27:50Speaker 8: So you know, good, well, thank you. I appreciate that well,
- 27:54Speaker 8: us little people will always be there for you. Okay,
- 27:56Speaker 8: So I want to try to focus you know, first
- 27:58Speaker 8: of all, with the two hundred and fifty the anniversary
- 28:00Speaker 8: of America coming up.
- 28:01Speaker 9: Clearly it ties in with your articles. I mentioned earlier.
- 28:05Speaker 8: You're such a wealth of information when it comes to history,
- 28:08Speaker 8: especially regarding our nation. But you know it's even greater
- 28:11Speaker 8: than that. But when it comes to the country, you
- 28:14Speaker 8: have so much information. So I wanted to really sort
- 28:16Speaker 8: of focus on just your articles for this week as
- 28:19Speaker 8: we go up to the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary
- 28:21Speaker 8: here of this great country. Now, your first article that
- 28:24Speaker 8: came out, what was it, I guess last week, the
- 28:26Speaker 8: two hundred fifty years or ago, a resolution for independence.
- 28:30Speaker 8: Let's talk about that one first, and then we'll work
- 28:32Speaker 8: with the one that just came out yesterday. And then
- 28:34Speaker 8: of course we can also do a little tease for
- 28:36Speaker 8: your next article. So let's talk about the first article.
- 28:39Speaker 8: First of all, America is an experiment in democracy, a republic,
- 28:44Speaker 8: if you will, and we've made it well, we've only
- 28:47Speaker 8: got about what four or five more days to go
- 28:49Speaker 8: to make it to two hundred and fifty to get there.
- 28:51Speaker 8: Do you think we'll do it or do you think
- 28:52Speaker 8: we're not gonna make it?
- 28:54Speaker 13: Oh, I think we'll do it until maybe the next election.
- 28:57Speaker 13: But it's it is an experiment. And what a lot
- 29:02Speaker 13: of people don't understand is is that all the other
- 29:05Speaker 13: countries in the world, with the exception of the Dutch
- 29:08Speaker 13: Republic and Switzerland, all the all the countries were either empires, kingdoms, principalities,
- 29:16Speaker 13: nothing of the kind that we had where the people
- 29:19Speaker 13: can actually create a government by their own, you know,
- 29:24Speaker 13: with their own consent, where laws were created with their
- 29:27Speaker 13: own consent. So it was it was a great experiment.
- 29:31Speaker 13: And so when people criticize the fact that certain things
- 29:35Speaker 13: didn't come out right in the early days, well, you know,
- 29:38Speaker 13: you have to remember that we were still in the infancy.
- 29:40Speaker 13: It was still just a brand new experiment. So that
- 29:43Speaker 13: you know, we've been getting better and better over the
- 29:46Speaker 13: over the decades, over the centuries.
- 29:49Speaker 8: Boy, you're right on nothing's perfect. In fact, I've never
- 29:53Speaker 8: seen a perfect human being or a perfect country. But
- 29:56Speaker 8: especially when you start looking at the history of the
- 29:58Speaker 8: world and then even what what's going on right now
- 30:01Speaker 8: in the world, and when you start comparing America to
- 30:04Speaker 8: the rest of the world. A great example of looking
- 30:06Speaker 8: how great this nation is has been all of the
- 30:09Speaker 8: fans from all over the world that have come here
- 30:11Speaker 8: for the World Cup and just how blown away they
- 30:14Speaker 8: are by how great America truly is, which is something
- 30:16Speaker 8: that you don't really get a lot in the media
- 30:18Speaker 8: unless you're reading stuff like what you're writing over at
- 30:21Speaker 8: the Epic Times, and you go through literally you start
- 30:24Speaker 8: from I love how the first article you've got, How
- 30:28Speaker 8: literally you break it down to where you start from
- 30:31Speaker 8: just a courier arriving in Philadelphia with a dispatch from Williamsburg, Virginia.
- 30:36Speaker 8: Let's talk about where you begin with the article and
- 30:39Speaker 8: kind of where you go through with the first one.
- 30:41Speaker 13: Okay, So after Thomas Paine, I got to go back
- 30:45Speaker 13: a little bit. After Thomas Paine released his pamphlet Common Sense.
- 30:50Speaker 13: Around that time, the king had pretty much declared war
- 30:53Speaker 13: on the American colony. So right afterwards Payne's pamphlet came
- 30:58Speaker 13: out that the focus from rebelling against Parliament to actually
- 31:04Speaker 13: becoming our own country. His temphlet was the Blueprint and
- 31:08Speaker 13: in that independence fever was growing larger and larger in
- 31:12Speaker 13: all the colonies in the first part of seventeen seventy six.
- 31:17Speaker 13: So in Virginia they gave the Virginia Congress or House
- 31:23Speaker 13: of Burgesses, gave the Virginia delegates at the Second Continental
- 31:27Speaker 13: Congress permission to go ahead submit a motion for independence.
- 31:33Speaker 13: And that's what Richard Henry Lee did. He stood up
- 31:38Speaker 13: on June the seventh and he gave his proposition, his resolution,
- 31:43Speaker 13: they called it the Leeds Resolution, where where he started
- 31:47Speaker 13: with these United Colonies are and ought to be free
- 31:50Speaker 13: and independent states, and he presented two other things where
- 31:55Speaker 13: one was about foreign alliances and the other was where
- 31:58Speaker 13: we would have an established governmental constitution, which ended up
- 32:02Speaker 13: becoming the Articles of Confederation. So that's what started the
- 32:07Speaker 13: whole thing, and that's what the first article was about.
- 32:11Speaker 13: There was a lot of debate. Now the opponents, it's
- 32:14Speaker 13: not that they were against declaring independence. They just felt
- 32:19Speaker 13: that the timing was completely off because we didn't have
- 32:23Speaker 13: a navy. Our military was not anything as even what
- 32:27Speaker 13: the British Empire had. The British had the best navy,
- 32:31Speaker 13: they had the best army, and we were being attacked
- 32:35Speaker 13: in Canada. We were being My second article talks about
- 32:38Speaker 13: how we were attacked in South Carolina when Paine's article.
- 32:43Speaker 13: When Paine's pamphlet came out, Boston was occupied, so we
- 32:47Speaker 13: were under siege and they were even the British were
- 32:51Speaker 13: even instructing their Native American allies to attack us, especially
- 32:55Speaker 13: the Mohawks and the Cherokees. So we were surrounded, and
- 33:00Speaker 13: the opponents of independence, such as John Dickinson out of
- 33:06Speaker 13: Pennsylvania or Edward rutledge Is out of South Carolina, they
- 33:10Speaker 13: were afraid that unless we get born alliances first and
- 33:15Speaker 13: get an established, unified government, we don't have a chance.
- 33:20Speaker 13: But then John Adams and Benjamin Franklin were saying that
- 33:24Speaker 13: until we show a commitment to independence rather than being
- 33:30Speaker 13: rebellious countrymen, rebellious subjects of the British Empire, no country
- 33:37Speaker 13: like France or Spain are going to even bother giving
- 33:40Speaker 13: us any type of treaty or an alliance or money
- 33:42Speaker 13: to help us out.
- 33:45Speaker 8: You were talking with Alan McKee once again. He's a historian,
- 33:47Speaker 8: he's a writer. He's the host of the Sons of
- 33:49Speaker 8: History podcast. If you've not gone onto YouTube and checked
- 33:52Speaker 8: it out, you really ought to and once again we're
- 33:54Speaker 8: just literally getting into the first article that was released
- 33:57Speaker 8: part of a three part series over the epic time.
- 34:00Speaker 8: It is titled two hundred and fifty years Ago, a
- 34:02Speaker 8: Resolution for Independence. One of the things I really enjoyed
- 34:06Speaker 8: about the article. First of all, the history lesson is
- 34:07Speaker 8: always great, but you go into.
- 34:09Speaker 9: The names of who.
- 34:10Speaker 8: But noally that here timing up with our two hundred
- 34:13Speaker 8: and fiftieth anniversary. You're given the dates when the full
- 34:16Speaker 8: Assembly was reconvened. You mentioned it was on Saturday, June eighth.
- 34:19Speaker 8: We're talking less than a month before the birth of
- 34:22Speaker 8: the Nation, which comes in on July fourth, seventeen seventy six.
- 34:27Speaker 8: This is pretty amazing history. And the other thing I
- 34:30Speaker 8: know about you, Allan is I know you go around
- 34:32Speaker 8: the country and around the world and like to go
- 34:34Speaker 8: study history. Have you been to these locations that you
- 34:37Speaker 8: write about, and not only these articles but in your
- 34:39Speaker 8: previous work as well.
- 34:41Speaker 13: Oh yeah, I've been to. The only place I have
- 34:44Speaker 13: not been to has been Yorktown. That's really the only place,
- 34:48Speaker 13: and that'll be in the near future. But yeah, on
- 34:54Speaker 13: Janue on June the eighth, like you were saying, they
- 34:57Speaker 13: you know, when Richard Ernie Lee presented the motion, they
- 35:02Speaker 13: didn't debate on it. They said, you know, they said,
- 35:04Speaker 13: let's wait till tomorrow. So on Saturday, dight, they reconvened,
- 35:08Speaker 13: and they fought and debated and argued the entire day.
- 35:12Speaker 13: So they decided, okay, let's they didn't they didn't work
- 35:16Speaker 13: on Sunday, so let's come back on Monday the tenth.
- 35:19Speaker 13: So when they came back on Monday the tenth, Edward
- 35:21Speaker 13: Rutledge of South Carolina said let's uh, let's hold off
- 35:26Speaker 13: because it didn't look like it was going to it
- 35:28Speaker 13: was going to pass at that precise moment. But I
- 35:32Speaker 13: don't think Rutledge wanted to kill the bill. I believe
- 35:36Speaker 13: that he did want independence to some extent, but just
- 35:39Speaker 13: like like I was saying, not now, this is not
- 35:41Speaker 13: the right time. But what ended up happening was they decided,
- 35:46Speaker 13: let's give it twenty days and let's go talk to
- 35:49Speaker 13: our colonial assemblies and get instructions. Do they want us
- 35:52Speaker 13: to vote for independence or not? Adams Franklin Jefferson. They
- 35:56Speaker 13: were like, yes, yes, let's do that. And they ended
- 35:59Speaker 13: up creating three committees. One committee known as the Committee
- 36:03Speaker 13: of five. They were to get a draft of a
- 36:08Speaker 13: declaration of independence so that if the resolution does pass,
- 36:12Speaker 13: then we have it ready to go and we can
- 36:15Speaker 13: present it and fign it. So Jefferson ended up writing it.
- 36:19Speaker 13: It was Jefferson, Franklin Adams, Roger Sherman, and Robert Livingston
- 36:24Speaker 13: of New York. So for about twenty days, twenty days,
- 36:29Speaker 13: there was a cease fire, as I like to call it.
- 36:33Speaker 13: On the twenty eighth of June, Jefferson finished the the
- 36:40Speaker 13: rough draft, and the other four guys looked at it
- 36:43Speaker 13: and they gave in their their input, and they presented
- 36:47Speaker 13: the Declaration of Independence to John Hancock on the twenty
- 36:51Speaker 13: eighth of June. Now there's a very famous photo, you know,
- 36:54Speaker 13: where the five men of the Committee of five are
- 36:56Speaker 13: presenting the documents to John Hancock and everybody else is
- 36:59Speaker 13: sitting around. Jonathan Trumbell I think was his name, Trumble
- 37:04Speaker 13: He did the painting. It's not like the two dollar bills.
- 37:07Speaker 4: Yeah, So that.
- 37:09Speaker 13: Was on the twenty eighth. Now that's where I pivot
- 37:13Speaker 13: to my second article. Also on June twenty eighth, that
- 37:18Speaker 13: was when the British attacked Charleston, South Carolina in hopes
- 37:23Speaker 13: they wanted to invade the city and then take over
- 37:26Speaker 13: the colony and then re establish colonial re established royal
- 37:31Speaker 13: rule and so. And there was a ten hour engagement
- 37:35Speaker 13: in that one. And I don't know if you wanted
- 37:37Speaker 13: me to skip onto that article, but that was on
- 37:40Speaker 13: the exact same day and around the same time as
- 37:43Speaker 13: when Jefferson and the Committee of five percented the rough
- 37:47Speaker 13: draft of the document to John Hancock.
- 37:51Speaker 9: Yeah, this is okay.
- 37:52Speaker 8: Now we've moved on to the second article, which, by
- 37:54Speaker 8: the way, if you want to go check it out,
- 37:55Speaker 8: they're both already posted over the Epic Times. The second article, well,
- 37:59Speaker 8: the first articles two hundred and fifty years ago a
- 38:01Speaker 8: resolution for independence. And now we've moved to the second article.
- 38:04Speaker 8: Two hundred fifty years ago South Carolina defeats the British Empire.
- 38:08Speaker 8: Now this is where it get. It gets a little
- 38:10Speaker 8: bit more fun, I guess if you will. For you know,
- 38:13Speaker 8: being a historical perspective to look back at it, it
- 38:16Speaker 8: doesn't sound like it was a lot of fun when
- 38:18Speaker 8: they were doing this, because, as you mentioned, these are
- 38:20Speaker 8: a group of colonists who have just declared their independence
- 38:23Speaker 8: from the King of England and the King of England. Well,
- 38:27Speaker 8: you know, he probably didn't like that none too much.
- 38:29Speaker 8: I think he was interested in trying to keep these colonies.
- 38:32Speaker 8: And then of course this moves to a very famous
- 38:34Speaker 8: battle which I don't know how many people study history
- 38:37Speaker 8: these days, but this is an important battle in the
- 38:40Speaker 8: especially considering the history of our nation. Let's I want
- 38:43Speaker 8: you to go through some of what you cover in
- 38:44Speaker 8: your article.
- 38:46Speaker 13: Okay. So Henry Clinton, who was General Henry Clinton of
- 38:51Speaker 13: the British, was the second in command behind William Howe.
- 38:55Speaker 13: He was sent down to the Carolinas to to kind
- 39:00Speaker 13: of stir up trouble. There were a lot of Loyalists
- 39:02Speaker 13: in the South, and they wanted to stir up trouble
- 39:05Speaker 13: and then set up a base of operations. If not
- 39:08Speaker 13: in the Cape Fear, North Carolina, then they were going
- 39:10Speaker 13: to go for Charleston, South Carolina. At the time, Charleston
- 39:14Speaker 13: was called Charles Town. Well, when Henry Clinton got to
- 39:18Speaker 13: North Carolina, he found out that the Loyalist army that
- 39:21Speaker 13: he was going to meet was thoroughly annihilated at the
- 39:24Speaker 13: Battle of moors Creek Bridge. So he kind of sat
- 39:29Speaker 13: around and he waited for Lord Charles Cornwallace in commodore
- 39:33Speaker 13: Sir Peter Parker to show up and the three of them.
- 39:37Speaker 13: Then they were going to actually try to set up
- 39:39Speaker 13: a base of operations in Capespear, North Carolina. But because
- 39:43Speaker 13: their loyalist friends were I mean, there was no army,
- 39:46Speaker 13: the Patriots pretty much controlled the entire coast. They decided, okay,
- 39:50Speaker 13: let's go hit Charleston because we'd rather go there anyway.
- 39:53Speaker 13: They have a nice port. Well if I don't know
- 39:57Speaker 13: how it is now, but if you go to Charleston,
- 40:00Speaker 13: then to get into the harbor, there's a lot of
- 40:05Speaker 13: shallow sand bars. So in order to get into the
- 40:09Speaker 13: harbor without getting without running aground, you have to pass
- 40:12Speaker 13: by Sullivan's Island, so it's like a four mile by
- 40:17Speaker 13: quarter mile island. So they built a fort there because
- 40:20Speaker 13: they knew the British river were coming. So they built
- 40:23Speaker 13: a fort and it was never finished, but it was,
- 40:27Speaker 13: it was partially completed. But they put palmetto logs and
- 40:31Speaker 13: stand as you know, to build the fort. And they
- 40:35Speaker 13: had I think it was about thirty one pieces of artillery,
- 40:39Speaker 13: I don't remember off the top of my head. And
- 40:43Speaker 13: so they so when the British the British did show up,
- 40:46Speaker 13: like right at the beginning of the end of May.
- 40:48Speaker 13: In the beginning of June, they started showing up, and
- 40:50Speaker 13: it took them several days to get to know where
- 40:55Speaker 13: to go because I remember how I said there were
- 40:57Speaker 13: stand bars, so they were trying to navigate the stand bars.
- 41:00Speaker 13: And Henry Clinton what he did was first he ordered
- 41:04Speaker 13: Charleston to surrender, and when they ignored him, he sent
- 41:10Speaker 13: about twenty five hundred to three thousand Red Coats onto
- 41:15Speaker 13: Long Island, which was about a mile northeast of Sullivan's Island.
- 41:19Speaker 13: Now around this time, George Washington's second in command, Charles
- 41:24Speaker 13: Lee shows up. Now he shows up on June the fourth,
- 41:27Speaker 13: and on the eighth there's about two thousand Continental soldiers
- 41:33Speaker 13: from Virginia and North Carolina show up. But now this
- 41:37Speaker 13: was his vanguard, and that was the same day that
- 41:40Speaker 13: Clinton delivered the ultimatum for them to surrender. So kind
- 41:44Speaker 13: of bad timing on his part. So for several days,
- 41:51Speaker 13: the winds were bad, the tides were bad, nothing worked
- 41:55Speaker 13: on the British favor. And another thing that went bad
- 41:57Speaker 13: for the British was that Clinton was in formed that
- 42:00Speaker 13: between Long Islands and Sullivan's Island is a little inlet
- 42:05Speaker 13: that's only about eighteen inches deep, But then they found
- 42:08Speaker 13: out that it's actually seven feet deep, so they had
- 42:11Speaker 13: to go buy boats rather than cross it on foot.
- 42:16Speaker 13: So what they were going to do was as Peter
- 42:18Speaker 13: Parker bombarded the fort, Henry Clinton would invade from the northeast. Well, again,
- 42:24Speaker 13: you know, they weren't able to cross it on foot,
- 42:28Speaker 13: and the tides never worked for them. Well, on June
- 42:30Speaker 13: twenty eighth, the day the Committee five presented the document
- 42:33Speaker 13: the Rough Draft to Hancocks, the winds and the tide
- 42:37Speaker 13: worked in the British favor, and that's when they attacked,
- 42:40Speaker 13: and it was a ten hour artillery duel. But what
- 42:44Speaker 13: the British didn't realize was is that when they were
- 42:46Speaker 13: firing their artillery, when they hit the palmetto logs, instead
- 42:52Speaker 13: of splintering and injuring the Americans, the artillery pieces just
- 42:58Speaker 13: crashed right in the kind of verbs or by the
- 43:00Speaker 13: stand and the palmetto logues. It just like poof, like
- 43:04Speaker 13: a little sponge. It would just go right in there
- 43:06Speaker 13: and it wasn't doing any damage to the fort. But
- 43:09Speaker 13: our guys, on the other hand, our guys were beating
- 43:12Speaker 13: the hell out of them. They were shelling their ships.
- 43:15Speaker 13: All their ships were damaged to some extent. Three ships
- 43:19Speaker 13: ran aground in a standbar. One of them they had
- 43:21Speaker 13: to abandon and the British just scuttled it and Peter
- 43:25Speaker 13: Parker was injured. He got hit, part of his uniform
- 43:31Speaker 13: got ripped so that his butt was exposed to everybody,
- 43:35Speaker 13: and it was a humiliating defeat for the British.
- 43:40Speaker 8: There's so many interesting elements about this. If you're a
- 43:43Speaker 8: history nerd like me or like Alan, you see this
- 43:47Speaker 8: stuff and you go, wow, this is very interesting one.
- 43:49Speaker 8: It brings up a couple of things. One people need
- 43:52Speaker 8: to understand when when you look at the current skirmishes in.
- 43:55Speaker 9: The world with the fighting, this is nothing new.
- 43:58Speaker 8: This is literally been taking place since the advent of
- 44:02Speaker 8: our country back in seventeen seventy five seventeen seventy six,
- 44:05Speaker 8: and it happened long before that. But there's that aspect
- 44:08Speaker 8: of it. But also when you start going into the
- 44:10Speaker 8: details and the dates on how this sort of worked
- 44:13Speaker 8: out and how, like I said, the interesting aspect of
- 44:16Speaker 8: the trees and the sand and how we had said
- 44:19Speaker 8: the I guess the upper hand. When it came to it,
- 44:22Speaker 8: it really rolls on and becomes a very interesting story.
- 44:25Speaker 8: And then you even go into how about six days later,
- 44:28Speaker 8: here's July fourth, Congress approves the Declaration of Independence, and that,
- 44:32Speaker 8: I guess brings us towards what will be your final article,
- 44:35Speaker 8: which i'll let you name here because that's not come
- 44:37Speaker 8: out by the way. We're talking with Alan Joaquin. He's
- 44:39Speaker 8: a historian, writer, host of the Sons of History podcast.
- 44:43Speaker 8: Once again, we're talking about his three part series. Two
- 44:46Speaker 8: of his articles are already released two hundred and fifty
- 44:49Speaker 8: years ago. A Resolution for Independence is the first, and
- 44:52Speaker 8: then the second article, which we were just going through,
- 44:54Speaker 8: South Carolina defeats the British Empire. What is the title
- 44:57Speaker 8: of your third article and when will this one become
- 44:59Speaker 8: an on Allen Well.
- 45:01Speaker 13: I released it yesterday, I should I submitted it yesterday,
- 45:06Speaker 13: and I told them that it would probably be best
- 45:09Speaker 13: to release it sometime between the first and the fourth.
- 45:13Speaker 13: That's that's going to be their call, because you know,
- 45:15Speaker 13: they have to go through it and fact check it
- 45:17Speaker 13: and all that. But but the article, you know what,
- 45:22Speaker 13: I don't remember what I gave it. I know the
- 45:24Speaker 13: word declaration of independence was in there, but it's about
- 45:27Speaker 13: what's the place between the between July the first and
- 45:32Speaker 13: July the fourth, Because July the first was when everyone
- 45:36Speaker 13: came back. They reconvened at in Philadelphia for the Congress,
- 45:40Speaker 13: and they began debate again. And this time, you know,
- 45:44Speaker 13: everybody already had made up their mind except for a
- 45:46Speaker 13: few and you know, John Dickinson, he gave a passionate speech,
- 45:50Speaker 13: and then John Adams replied and gave his passionate speech.
- 45:56Speaker 13: And so they then did a preliminary vote. And in
- 46:00Speaker 13: the preliminary vote, now, now in Congress majority rule, so
- 46:07Speaker 13: if a majority passes a bill, then then the bill
- 46:10Speaker 13: becomes lost. But in this case, they decided that it
- 46:14Speaker 13: had to be unanimous, there could be no dissenters. And
- 46:17Speaker 13: the reason why is because if they were declaring independent,
- 46:21Speaker 13: then these colonies are now going to have to be
- 46:24Speaker 13: involved in a war that they did not want to participate.
- 46:27Speaker 13: Now that was a bad for that colony. And b
- 46:30Speaker 13: they were afraid that the colonies would succeed from the
- 46:33Speaker 13: union that they had there. You know, there were really
- 46:35Speaker 13: about twenty four colonies altogether British colonies, but only thirteen
- 46:39Speaker 13: of them rebelled, so they were afraid that you know,
- 46:41Speaker 13: one of them would one or two would would pull out. Well,
- 46:45Speaker 13: the preliminary vote, I'm gonna have to stop you.
- 46:48Speaker 8: There were short on time, Allen, so I'm going to
- 46:50Speaker 8: have to stop you there. One is, there's a couple
- 46:52Speaker 8: of things here. One is, I want you to tell
- 46:54Speaker 8: everybody how one they can go check out the Sons
- 46:56Speaker 8: of History, your podcast. But also, like I said and mentioned,
- 46:59Speaker 8: where they can go to the Epic Times to read
- 47:01Speaker 8: these articles and then get this, this is something that
- 47:04Speaker 8: you don't just strictly cover for the articles. You've gone
- 47:07Speaker 8: through this sort of thing with the Sons of History podcasts.
- 47:10Speaker 9: You've been doing this for a few years.
- 47:11Speaker 8: Now tell everyone how they can follow your podcast and
- 47:14Speaker 8: of course read your articles and everything else.
- 47:17Speaker 13: Okay, Well, if you go to we're on Facebook, we're
- 47:19Speaker 13: on YouTube, and we have our own website, the Sunsohistory
- 47:23Speaker 13: dot com. But if you go to YouTube and just
- 47:26Speaker 13: do a search these Sons of History, you'll find us.
- 47:30Speaker 13: We got the big logo, the big red s on
- 47:34Speaker 13: the white backfield. Just subscribe and then you'll be able
- 47:38Speaker 13: to see all our videos. We have many videos, and
- 47:40Speaker 13: then we have long videos my articles. You will find
- 47:43Speaker 13: those at the Epic Times. Just search for two hundred
- 47:48Speaker 13: and fifty years. There is a two hundred and fiftieth.
- 47:51Speaker 13: Just look for the words two hundred and fifteth. They
- 47:53Speaker 13: started doing that and highlighting many of my articles. We'll
- 47:57Speaker 13: go back a few years, all the way to the
- 48:01Speaker 13: go back to the Boston Sea Party, so they can
- 48:03Speaker 13: find me there. So you know, because listen, this was
- 48:09Speaker 13: not a simple Okay, let's just sign on the dotted
- 48:11Speaker 13: line and let's become an independent nation. It was nothing
- 48:14Speaker 13: like that. This was we are about to sign a document.
- 48:18Speaker 13: We're going to hang for it. If we get captured
- 48:21Speaker 13: the British and their allies completely surround us, we have
- 48:25Speaker 13: a fight on our hands. And that's exactly what happened
- 48:28Speaker 13: in New York City shortly after the declaration of independence
- 48:32Speaker 13: was side.
- 48:34Speaker 8: It's incredible work and I'm always fascinated by one how
- 48:37Speaker 8: good you do, but also how detailed you get and
- 48:39Speaker 8: cover it. And then like Stend, I'm a fan of
- 48:41Speaker 8: the Sons of History, your podcast, and of course your
- 48:43Speaker 8: work over the Epic Times. Alan Joaquin, thanks for being here.
- 48:46Speaker 8: Always appreciate your time and keep up the great work.
- 48:49Speaker 13: Chris, thank you so much. I appreciate it. I always
- 48:52Speaker 13: enjoyed coming and talking to you. You're a good man
- 48:54Speaker 13: and a good friend.
- 48:55Speaker 8: Well, thank you very much. I appreciate That's Alan Waquin
- 48:57Speaker 8: once again. He's a historian, a writer, host of the
- 48:59Speaker 8: Sons History podcast, and once again you can catch this
- 49:02Speaker 8: three part article, well three part series of articles over
- 49:05Speaker 8: at the Epic Times. I encourage you to go read
- 49:07Speaker 8: his work and then of course watching the podcast over
- 49:10Speaker 8: at YouTube or the Sons Ofhistory dot com. Make sure
- 49:12Speaker 8: you're checking this out if you're a fan of history.
- 49:14Speaker 8: First of all, it's important to know it so we're
- 49:16Speaker 8: not doomed to repeat it. But second of all, it
- 49:19Speaker 8: is great work, and it's when you start really going
- 49:22Speaker 8: into it. The way he puts it together along with
- 49:23Speaker 8: his partners, it's fantastic. You almost feel like you're there,
- 49:28Speaker 8: which is important because I think a lot of people
- 49:30Speaker 8: have forgotten, especially as we approach the two hundred and
- 49:33Speaker 8: fiftieth anniversary of this, this experiment in democracy.
- 49:37Speaker 9: All right, let's take a short break. I appreciate Alan
- 49:39Speaker 9: Wachuem for joining us.

- 51:44Speaker 8: Enjoy catching over the alle Like I said, I consider
- 51:47Speaker 8: myself a history nerd, but I'm nowhere close to where
- 51:51Speaker 8: he is and what they do with the sons of history.
- 51:53Speaker 8: Because he does such a good job this, I always
- 51:55Speaker 8: appreciate catching up with them and of course having on
- 51:58Speaker 8: the program to talk about this history. This is important,
- 52:01Speaker 8: especially when you're approaching a historic landmark, like celebrating your
- 52:06Speaker 8: two hundred and fiftieth year in existence. Now, in nation years,
- 52:11Speaker 8: that's sort of that's a relatively young thing. We're still
- 52:13Speaker 8: a relatively young nation, and we're still going through changes
- 52:16Speaker 8: and we still have issues, but we are hands down,
- 52:19Speaker 8: it's not even close the greatest nation on the planet.
- 52:24Speaker 8: So when you start looking at it, From that perspective,
- 52:26Speaker 8: you realize, like I said, I know people, they're idiots.
- 52:29Speaker 9: In our country that think, oh no, the other countries.
- 52:31Speaker 8: Are way better. Well, then why aren't you living there?
- 52:34Speaker 8: Do they disallow you? Oh no? Now you can pretty
- 52:38Speaker 8: much go just about anywhere you want, just about any
- 52:40Speaker 8: country will take you. But if you're a lame o,
- 52:44Speaker 8: they might throw you in prison. You definitely don't have
- 52:47Speaker 8: the First Amendment. You definitely don't have some of these
- 52:50Speaker 8: other amendments. You definitely don't have the freedom that we
- 52:53Speaker 8: have here. This is a great country. We have our falls.
- 53:00Speaker 8: There are people trying to tear it down every day.
- 53:04Speaker 8: So it's good to go back and learn how we
- 53:06Speaker 8: got here and what led to it and where we're headed.
- 53:09Speaker 8: It's important. Once again, Alan mccame, he's a writer, he's
- 53:12Speaker 8: a host or historian, host of the Sons of History
- 53:15Speaker 8: podcast does great work.
- 53:16Speaker 9: Sons Offhistory dot com.
- 53:18Speaker 8: You can get more information there and of course Reada's
- 53:20Speaker 8: work that three parts, three different articles regarding the two

- 53:26Speaker 8: our number one is done, we'll come back. Our number
- 53:29Speaker 8: two is up next. Don't you go anywhere. We'll be
- 53:31Speaker 8: right back. You're listening to the Voice of Texas.

- 56:57Speaker 28: Most polling shows that Republicans are going to have a
- 57:00Speaker 28: tough time winning majorities in both Houses of Congress in November.
- 57:04Speaker 28: Voters blame Trump for inflation and believe that many of
- 57:08Speaker 28: the necessities they need to purchase have become unaffordable. Two
- 57:12Speaker 28: out of three voters don't believe that preventing Oran from
- 57:16Speaker 28: building a nuclear weapon is worth the higher gas prices
- 57:19Speaker 28: that they are paying. Voters never give a president credit
- 57:23Speaker 28: for preventing bad things like a nuclear war from happening.
- 57:27Speaker 28: President Trump should realize by now that the Islamic Republic
- 57:30Speaker 28: will never agree to a deal that results in a
- 57:33Speaker 28: Trump win. The Molas read the polls and see the
- 57:36Speaker 28: domestic political pressure to end the war. It's part of
- 57:39Speaker 28: their strategy. We should stop chasing a bad deal. This
- 57:43Speaker 28: does not mean that we should resume unlimited air strikes,
- 57:46Speaker 28: but rather targeted decapitation strikes against their leadership, as the
- 57:51Speaker 28: Israelis used effectively. If Iranian leaders won't cut a deal,
- 57:56Speaker 28: then let's get new ones. The real leverage we have
- 57:59Speaker 28: again thanks to Iran, is economic. We destroyed what Iran
- 58:03Speaker 28: took decades to build their defense industrial base used to
- 58:07Speaker 28: manufacture drones, missiles, and nuclear weapons. Inflation in Iran is
- 58:13Speaker 28: running at forty percent. The blockade collapsed the revenue stream
- 58:18Speaker 28: used by the Revolutionary Guard Corps, their security services, and
- 58:23Speaker 28: all the government infrastructure. If our blockade is allowed to
- 58:26Speaker 28: continue and not stopped by Democrats and a few lane
- 58:31Speaker 28: duck Republicans in Congress. We can eliminate the mola's leverage

- 1:01:16Speaker 8: the second hour of the program, I'll go in and
- 1:01:18Speaker 8: open up the phones. Now. I know some of you
- 1:01:19Speaker 8: guys were calling in earlier, but I had a great
- 1:01:22Speaker 8: guest and I went, you know, a little along with Alan,
- 1:01:24Speaker 8: so we didn't have time to take any calls in
- 1:01:25Speaker 8: the first hour, but if you want to join us

- 1:01:35Speaker 8: listen to the program, you guys are bigger history buffs
- 1:01:38Speaker 8: than I am, so I like to bring on you know,
- 1:01:40Speaker 8: Alan joaquem he's host of the Sons of History podcast,
- 1:01:44Speaker 8: and he's a writer with the Epic Times, and he's
- 1:01:46Speaker 8: got that three part series of articles that just came out.
- 1:01:50Speaker 8: Two of the three two hundred and fifty years a
- 1:01:52Speaker 8: resolution for independence. The second article two hundred and fifty
- 1:01:56Speaker 8: years ago South Carolina defeats the British Empire, and then
- 1:01:59Speaker 8: the third is coming out sometime this week. He's already
- 1:02:02Speaker 8: submitted it, so it should be out here. It's always
- 1:02:05Speaker 8: good to get a good little history refresher. And I
- 1:02:07Speaker 8: know most of the listeners of this program in the station,
- 1:02:10Speaker 8: you guys love history, so and I've always said this.
- 1:02:16Speaker 8: I always kind of misquoted to a certain degree, but
- 1:02:19Speaker 8: it's that I say, those who do not study history
- 1:02:22Speaker 8: are destined to repeat it. I think the actual quote
- 1:02:24Speaker 8: is those who don't study history are doomed to repeat it.
- 1:02:30Speaker 8: And we live in a time where what's weird is
- 1:02:32Speaker 8: I remember a lot of the stuff that Alan goes through,
- 1:02:34Speaker 8: especially the history of our nation and Texas history, because
- 1:02:38Speaker 8: I was lucky enough to be born and raised right
- 1:02:40Speaker 8: here in Texas. I used to love It's funny as
- 1:02:42Speaker 8: I liked American history. That was a good class. I
- 1:02:44Speaker 8: don't know if they teach it anymore. And then being
- 1:02:47Speaker 8: in Texas, man, we got Texas history, so I used
- 1:02:50Speaker 8: to get that. And I know, you know, Allan went
- 1:02:52Speaker 8: to a school same school that I did. We both
- 1:02:54Speaker 8: graduated closely around the same time. I think he graduated
- 1:02:57Speaker 8: a year before I did, so, yeah, they were teaching
- 1:03:00Speaker 8: history back then. So I loved history. I always got
- 1:03:02Speaker 8: good grades in history. I've always loved it. It is
- 1:03:05Speaker 8: important for us to know how our nation won, how
- 1:03:08Speaker 8: it came about, two, how it was you know, formed,
- 1:03:12Speaker 8: and three how we've you know, defended it, and what
- 1:03:14Speaker 8: we've had to do to not only make this nation,
- 1:03:17Speaker 8: but to have made the greatest nation, in my opinion,
- 1:03:20Speaker 8: that has ever existed. The United States of America offers
- 1:03:27Speaker 8: more opportunity than any country on the planet ever has.
- 1:03:33Speaker 8: The poor people are fat in our country. That doesn't
- 1:03:37Speaker 8: really happen in other countries.
- 1:03:42Speaker 9: It is easy for.
- 1:03:43Speaker 8: People who are uneducated as far as history to look
- 1:03:47Speaker 8: in and then go, you know, America sucks. A lot
- 1:03:49Speaker 8: of Democrats hate that. They don't like America. There's a
- 1:03:52Speaker 8: new pole that came out. Only eight percent of Democrats
- 1:03:55Speaker 8: describe America as the greatest country, only eight percent. That
- 1:03:58Speaker 8: means ninety two percent of Democrats don't think we're the
- 1:04:02Speaker 8: greatest country. In fact, only sixteen percent said it's even
- 1:04:05Speaker 8: among the greatest. Well, I would like to know what
- 1:04:08Speaker 8: these other countries are that are so great. I'm not
- 1:04:10Speaker 8: dogging the other countries. There are some really cool countries
- 1:04:14Speaker 8: out there.
- 1:04:14Speaker 9: I enjoy.
- 1:04:15Speaker 8: Like I said, I don't like. My joke is feel
- 1:04:18Speaker 8: like Chris, don't you want to travel to other countries?
- 1:04:21Speaker 9: Not really.
- 1:04:23Speaker 8: As soon as they invent the teleportation device or I'm
- 1:04:26Speaker 8: sorry they share it with us, then I will consider
- 1:04:30Speaker 8: going to the other countries. But I hate traveling. I
- 1:04:32Speaker 8: hate being on a plane. I can't imagine being on
- 1:04:34Speaker 8: a plane for twenty something hours but there are great
- 1:04:39Speaker 8: other countries. I do get it. Some of the European
- 1:04:42Speaker 8: nations are amazing. Some elements of Great Britain are amazing.
- 1:04:46Speaker 8: Some elements kind of suck. Like the report that we
- 1:04:48Speaker 8: just got about them two hundred and fifty thousand young
- 1:04:52Speaker 8: girls being raped by these Muslim groomer gangs, and they're
- 1:04:56Speaker 8: treating and these one horribly.
- 1:04:59Speaker 9: It was covered up by police, it was covered up by.
- 1:05:02Speaker 8: Parliament in England because these were girls that weren't necessarily
- 1:05:06Speaker 8: what you would call from the right caste, because the
- 1:05:09Speaker 8: cast system is still in full effect over there. I
- 1:05:14Speaker 8: know it's hard to believe, but we don't live there,
- 1:05:16Speaker 8: so we don't see it on a regular basis. We
- 1:05:18Speaker 8: also don't see unless you go and reach out and
- 1:05:20Speaker 8: study the invasion from these Muslim countries. There is an
- 1:05:23Speaker 8: invasion taking place. There are these Muslim groomer gangs that
- 1:05:28Speaker 8: have invaded the country. They pretend to assimilate, but they're
- 1:05:31Speaker 8: not assimilating at all. Their goal is takeover. And we've
- 1:05:35Speaker 8: seen this in multiple countries in Europe. It's happening in
- 1:05:38Speaker 8: real time. And that report that two hundred and fifty
- 1:05:42Speaker 8: thousand young white girls girls under age that were raped, converted, beaten, tortured, poisoned,
- 1:05:51Speaker 8: abused by these Muslim groomer gangs. And it was covered
- 1:05:56Speaker 8: up by the authorities. It was covered up by the police.
- 1:05:59Speaker 8: It was covered up. That's a terrible stain. That is
- 1:06:02Speaker 8: a terrible thing. Does it mean that all of England
- 1:06:05Speaker 8: is bad? No, no, it doesn't. England's not a bad country.
- 1:06:11Speaker 8: But it makes me even prouder to be a part
- 1:06:14Speaker 8: of America. We broke away from that, we broke away
- 1:06:17Speaker 8: from their parliamentary and system of kings and oligarchy, and
- 1:06:22Speaker 8: now we've got It's funny here, two hundred and fifty
- 1:06:24Speaker 8: years into it, we've got our own oligarchy we're dealing with.
- 1:06:26Speaker 8: There are a lot of problems we have in our country,
- 1:06:29Speaker 8: but it is good to study history to know what
- 1:06:31Speaker 8: God is here and also understand that history is being
- 1:06:35Speaker 8: made right now. It's kind of like if you heard
- 1:06:37Speaker 8: the uh is it the country time lemonade commercial? The
- 1:06:40Speaker 8: good old days are being made right now. It's a
- 1:06:43Speaker 8: great marketing slogan in some cases that is true, but
- 1:06:49Speaker 8: it is good to understand how we got there. By
- 1:06:51Speaker 8: the way, once again, follow alan what came, you can
- 1:06:53Speaker 8: follow him on Like I said, the Sons of hisstory
- 1:06:55Speaker 8: dot com. Sons of History dot com is Sons of
- 1:06:58Speaker 8: History podcast over YouTube in his three part series over
- 1:07:01Speaker 8: the Epic Times just two hundred and fifty years type
- 1:07:04Speaker 8: that in you'll start.
- 1:07:06Speaker 9: Two of them have been released, the third one be
- 1:07:07Speaker 9: coming out. It was great talking to him, and I
- 1:07:09Speaker 9: hate to cutting them.
- 1:07:09Speaker 8: Off, but we're so we were way over, but I
- 1:07:12Speaker 8: just wanted to get as much out. And like I said,
- 1:07:14Speaker 8: if for some reason you haven't read the first two articles,
- 1:07:17Speaker 8: go read them. They're short, they're not that long, but
- 1:07:19Speaker 8: it's good little history lessons. And as we are in
- 1:07:23Speaker 8: the week of the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary here
- 1:07:26Speaker 8: of America, July fourth is coming up this Saturday.
- 1:07:29Speaker 9: Heart believe today's the twenty ninth of June.
- 1:07:33Speaker 8: June is virtually over and we're already at July fourth,
- 1:07:37Speaker 8: which is amazing, and I plan to celebrate our country
- 1:07:40Speaker 8: big time.
- 1:07:41Speaker 9: I say big time.
- 1:07:43Speaker 8: I'm such a layme mo when he comes to this
- 1:07:44Speaker 8: kind of stuff, because well, I freed him over Houston.
- 1:07:47Speaker 8: I don't think I'm traveling anywhere this weekend. We're sticking around,
- 1:07:51Speaker 8: just enjoying the fact that we live in the greatest
- 1:07:54Speaker 8: country that has ever existed. Well, by the way, if
- 1:07:58Speaker 8: you do want to join us here in the second
- 1:08:00Speaker 8: we'll go and open up the phones at two eight
- 1:08:02Speaker 8: one five five eight KCV two eight one five five
- 1:08:05Speaker 8: eight five seven three eight. The Supreme Court had a
- 1:08:08Speaker 8: lot of rulings today, a lot coming down via the
- 1:08:10Speaker 8: Supreme Court. They ruled that state laws allowing the counting
- 1:08:13Speaker 8: of mail in ballots after election day are not in
- 1:08:16Speaker 8: violation of federal law. Which is interesting because it was
- 1:08:20Speaker 8: a five to four ruling. You had Amy Coney, Barrett
- 1:08:23Speaker 8: h and John Roberts joined with Sotomayo or Kagan and
- 1:08:26Speaker 8: Kataji bron Jackson.
- 1:08:30Speaker 9: A lot of people don't necessarily agree with this ruling.
- 1:08:33Speaker 8: Now, states conduct their own elections, but when you're dealing
- 1:08:35Speaker 8: with federal elections, well, fraud matters. And once again, if
- 1:08:39Speaker 8: you talk to Democrats or talk to people that I
- 1:08:43Speaker 8: guess either just don't want to admit it for whatever reason,
- 1:08:46Speaker 8: they try to pretend that there is no voter fraud
- 1:08:48Speaker 8: in this country. Voter fraud is rampant in this country.
- 1:08:53Speaker 8: They see there is no voter fraud. Well, you point
- 1:08:54Speaker 8: out cases where people are actually in prison for voter fraud.
- 1:08:57Speaker 8: They go, Okay, well, then it's minor. If it's minor,
- 1:09:01Speaker 8: you said it didn't exist a minute ago, and now
- 1:09:02Speaker 8: you said it's minor, and then they move on to well, okay,
- 1:09:06Speaker 8: well it is, but it's not bad. We're having elections
- 1:09:09Speaker 8: decided by few amount of votes, very few in our country.
- 1:09:14Speaker 8: On the state level, well too, what let's start out
- 1:09:17Speaker 8: with the city level, then the county level, then the
- 1:09:19Speaker 8: state level, and then on the federal level. They all
- 1:09:22Speaker 8: lead to each other. And I do believe that counting
- 1:09:26Speaker 8: mail in ballots after election day is a bad idea.
- 1:09:28Speaker 8: I think there needs to be something in place because
- 1:09:33Speaker 8: we have to have something that goes through and starts
- 1:09:37Speaker 8: getting these ballots, these mail in ballots by election day
- 1:09:40Speaker 8: to be counted, so we can no longer continue this.
- 1:09:44Speaker 8: The other thing, too, is with the ballot harvesting stuff
- 1:09:47Speaker 8: going on places like California. They can get as many
- 1:09:50Speaker 8: votes as they need, get them all postmarked, and then
- 1:09:52Speaker 8: just hang on to them and then okay, how many
- 1:09:54Speaker 8: do we need after election day? Well, here we go,
- 1:09:56Speaker 8: see you later, Spencer. That needs to be ruled in,
- 1:10:01Speaker 8: which is once again a big reason why you have
- 1:10:04Speaker 8: Donald Trump saying we need the Save America Act, which
- 1:10:09Speaker 8: a certain Democrat says that is his attempt to steal elections.
- 1:10:14Speaker 8: Uh me thinks they project a bit. But anyway, that
- 1:10:18Speaker 8: wasn't the only ruling by the Supreme Court today. The
- 1:10:20Speaker 8: Supreme Court also ruled that Congress cannot shield the heads
- 1:10:23Speaker 8: of independent regulatory agencies from presidential removal. Overturned this landmark
- 1:10:29Speaker 8: nineteen thirty five president. They also ruled that Trump's attempt
- 1:10:33Speaker 8: to remove Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook as that no,
- 1:10:37Speaker 8: this is the President failed to provide her the procedural
- 1:10:40Speaker 8: protections required by law. This is another five to four decision.
- 1:10:43Speaker 8: We've got to split Supreme Court folks. And then the
- 1:10:47Speaker 8: Supreme Court also ruled to not take up the Egen
- 1:10:50Speaker 8: Carroll case.
- 1:10:51Speaker 9: This is such a strange case. I'm going to go
- 1:10:53Speaker 9: into this now.
- 1:10:54Speaker 8: By the way, if you want to join us here
- 1:10:55Speaker 8: in nowur number two two eight one five five eight ksv.
- 1:10:58Speaker 8: Two eight one five five eight, five seventh or eight.
- 1:11:00Speaker 8: So President Trump vowed to continue to fight the eg
- 1:11:03Speaker 8: and Carol lawsuit, or the case brought against him. After
- 1:11:07Speaker 8: the Supreme Court declined to even consider the case today.
- 1:11:11Speaker 8: This is a very unique case for multiple reasons. Trump
- 1:11:16Speaker 8: took to social media this morning to respond to the
- 1:11:18Speaker 8: Court's decision not to take the case, and of course,
- 1:11:21Speaker 8: Trump responded in the Trump most Trumpian way possible. Surprisingly,
- 1:11:26Speaker 8: the Supreme Court declined to review a fake case brought
- 1:11:30Speaker 8: against me by a woman I never met. Decades old
- 1:11:33Speaker 8: celebrity photo line standing with her husband does not count.
- 1:11:39Speaker 8: I will continue to fight against this weaponization and law
- 1:11:42Speaker 8: fair case against me, including the ridiculous claim of defamation,
- 1:11:48Speaker 8: with all of my power and strength. Then he had
- 1:11:53Speaker 8: went to address that New York nnected the Adult Survivors
- 1:11:56Speaker 8: Act in twenty twenty two to allow this case to
- 1:11:59Speaker 8: be against him. In other words, they extended the statute
- 1:12:02Speaker 8: of limitations. So this woman and her crazy allegations, her
- 1:12:06Speaker 8: allegations are anything but sane. They're insane, they claim. She
- 1:12:12Speaker 8: claims that Trump somehow took her in a department store,
- 1:12:14Speaker 8: took her back in a dressing room or a bathroom,
- 1:12:17Speaker 8: and then raped her. And then she went on interviews
- 1:12:19Speaker 8: saying how rape is sexy, that's how most people see rape.
- 1:12:22Speaker 8: What and then couldn't remember what she was wearing or
- 1:12:25Speaker 8: the date in which it happened or the time in
- 1:12:27Speaker 8: which it happened that none of this stood up. But
- 1:12:31Speaker 8: this Adult Survivors Act created a one year window for
- 1:12:34Speaker 8: these victims, these alleged victims of sexual assault, to sue
- 1:12:37Speaker 8: without the barrier of the Statute of limitations.
- 1:12:40Speaker 9: Trump said, this.
- 1:12:41Speaker 8: Case is really against the United States of America and
- 1:12:44Speaker 8: all that it stands for. It should never be allowed
- 1:12:47Speaker 8: to happen to another president or a candidate to be
- 1:12:51Speaker 8: That's another important point.
- 1:12:53Speaker 9: It was known that Trump was running for president.
- 1:12:56Speaker 8: They used this and then set sunset it, by the way,
- 1:13:00Speaker 8: only for one year, because as soon as they started
- 1:13:02Speaker 8: coming out against the Democrat politicians, this case just all
- 1:13:07Speaker 8: of a sudden, mom, sorry, this law, this statute just
- 1:13:10Speaker 8: went away.
- 1:13:11Speaker 9: No, no, no, it was only designed to get Donald Trump.
- 1:13:15Speaker 8: New York's state created a law for instant speck of
- 1:13:18Speaker 8: time going back many decades in order to wrongfully quote
- 1:13:21Speaker 8: unquote nab me. It was Taylor made and this injustice
- 1:13:25Speaker 8: cannot be allowed to stand. Thank you for your attention
- 1:13:28Speaker 8: to this matter. Have a nice day, have a good time.
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:13:33Speaker 8: Realize Trump was never found to have raped this woman.
- 1:13:38Speaker 8: New York found that he sexually assaulted her, which could
- 1:13:41Speaker 8: be simply touching her arm in a strange way. But
- 1:13:45Speaker 8: once again, the whole story made no sense. The woman's
- 1:13:49Speaker 8: argument didn't convince anyone on the jury that he raped her,
- 1:13:52Speaker 8: because he didn't. He wasn't convicted of rape. Trump was
- 1:13:55Speaker 8: found liable, however, in the civil case right to pay
- 1:14:00Speaker 8: EG and Carol five million dollars, and an appeals court
- 1:14:04Speaker 8: upheld the ruling in December of twenty twenty four. Here's
- 1:14:08Speaker 8: a really interesting aspect of the story. In a separate case,
- 1:14:12Speaker 8: a civil jury ruled in January that Trump must pay
- 1:14:15Speaker 8: Carol eighty three million dollars. Over a social media commentary
- 1:14:21Speaker 8: on the matter, He defended himself on social media, saying
- 1:14:24Speaker 8: she's crazy and that he absolutely didn't have anything to
- 1:14:27Speaker 8: do with her. And I do believe over time anyone
- 1:14:29Speaker 8: who's actually looked at the case that she is a
- 1:14:33Speaker 8: little crazy. She's a weird woman who wrote for a
- 1:14:36Speaker 8: magazine and has said very very very very weird things
- 1:14:40Speaker 8: they've had. I remember it was the Anderson Cooper interview
- 1:14:44Speaker 8: on CNN where she was talking about how rapist sexy
- 1:14:46Speaker 8: and just she was talked about going and celebrating and
- 1:14:49Speaker 8: just None of this makes any sense on any level.
- 1:14:53Speaker 8: But it was Donald Trump, and they wrapped to get him.
- 1:14:55Speaker 8: And of course you can get you can indicet a
- 1:14:57Speaker 8: ham sandwich, and well they can victed this ham sandwich.
- 1:15:01Speaker 8: The Second US Court of Appeals rejected Trump's appeal of
- 1:15:05Speaker 8: the defamation award in September.
- 1:15:09Speaker 9: So they're saying, at this point he must pay.
- 1:15:11Speaker 8: Her eighty three million dollars in defamation and five million dollars.
- 1:15:16Speaker 8: So what is that close to ninety million dollars eighty
- 1:15:18Speaker 8: eight million dollars when she has no evidence, no witnesses,
- 1:15:25Speaker 8: nothing from a rape case that supposedly happened in the
- 1:15:27Speaker 8: nineties from a guy who claims he doesn't even know her,
- 1:15:32Speaker 8: And it doesn't make any sense Donald Trump would take
- 1:15:34Speaker 8: her into a department store raper she couldn't.
- 1:15:36Speaker 9: She claims she was wearing a dress that hadn't been
- 1:15:39Speaker 9: invented yet.
- 1:15:40Speaker 8: That's right. The address that she claimed she was raped
- 1:15:43Speaker 8: in didn't exist yet came out later. There was obviously
- 1:15:47Speaker 8: no evidence simply because of her allegations, which still didn't
- 1:15:52Speaker 8: add up. Okay, Trump has won what was it fifteen
- 1:15:56Speaker 8: million dollars? Was it from ABC? When George Stephanappadue called
- 1:16:00Speaker 8: him a rapist multiple times going after Nancy Mace and
- 1:16:05Speaker 8: she wouldn't play his little game because he's never been
- 1:16:09Speaker 8: convicted of rape and he's not a rapist. Oh sorry,
- 1:16:13Speaker 8: oh bummer, I guess we gotta I guess we can't
- 1:16:15Speaker 8: do that. Huh. So it's amazing they got these convictions,
- 1:16:22Speaker 8: and it's amazing that he even went to the Supreme
- 1:16:24Speaker 8: Court and then they wouldn't see it. So Trump's clearly
- 1:16:29Speaker 8: going to fight it as he should. Like I said,
- 1:16:32Speaker 8: I just yeah, it's almost astonishing. Anyway, we gotta take
- 1:16:37Speaker 8: a break. All right.
- 1:16:38Speaker 9: You're listening to Chris X Radio. We're here in the
- 1:16:40Speaker 9: second hour if you want to join us.

- 1:17:03Speaker 8: going off. In fact, I've dubbed the term fireworks season

- 1:17:13Speaker 8: Year's Eve or New Year's Day. For about a week
- 1:17:15Speaker 8: ahead of time, we start getting fireworks, and then they
- 1:17:17Speaker 8: happen all day, and then they happen all night, and
- 1:17:19Speaker 8: they go till three four, five o'clock in the morning.
- 1:17:24Speaker 8: I remember, I don't think you're allowed to pop fireworks
- 1:17:26Speaker 8: within the city limits of Houston proper. Man. I wish
- 1:17:29Speaker 8: they could extend that to my neighborhood. I don't mind
- 1:17:33Speaker 8: people popping fireworks, but man, once you get past midnight

- 1:20:47Speaker 23: That's great, Chuck, The Chris sel Sato Show seven to
- 1:20:50Speaker 23: nine AM. And now back to Chris X Radio X
- 1:20:57Speaker 23: Radio on the Voice of Texas on the.
- 1:21:13Speaker 8: Radio at seven hundred am or fifteen forty am or
- 1:21:15Speaker 8: listening on the stream at KSV radio dot com or
- 1:21:18Speaker 8: the app that was Ozzy No More Tears. One of
- 1:21:21Speaker 8: my favorite Ozzie song is probably I don't know my favorite,
- 1:21:23Speaker 8: but it's one of the top five for sure. I
- 1:21:27Speaker 8: read a great story over the weekend about Ozzy Osbourne.
- 1:21:30Speaker 8: There was a story Leada Ford. If you don't know,
- 1:21:33Speaker 8: she was a guitar player for the Runaways and then
- 1:21:35Speaker 8: had her own career for the lead of Ford. Now
- 1:21:37Speaker 8: she went as as a guitar player singer, and she's
- 1:21:41Speaker 8: actually a really good female guitar player. But she talked
- 1:21:45Speaker 8: about this is back in the nineties. It was was
- 1:21:49Speaker 8: it it was Easter? Was it Easter or thing? I
- 1:21:52Speaker 8: can't remember what holiday was. I think it was Easter,
- 1:21:54Speaker 8: I believe. And the story is, you know Ozzy Osbourne,
- 1:21:57Speaker 8: he's the prince of darkness. He's this crazy Satan worshiper guy.
- 1:22:01Speaker 9: He's is blah blah.
- 1:22:01Speaker 8: Well, he wasn't a Satan worshiper, and in fact, he
- 1:22:04Speaker 8: was crazy when he especially when he was younger, but
- 1:22:06Speaker 8: as he got older he sort of mellowed. But everybody
- 1:22:09Speaker 8: who knew Ozzy or was his friends, he was one
- 1:22:12Speaker 8: of those guys that was fiercely loyal and a good friend.
- 1:22:15Speaker 8: He showed up unannounced at Leeda Ford's family's home, her
- 1:22:19Speaker 8: parents' house with all her friends and family members on Easter,
- 1:22:24Speaker 8: and they invited him in to have dinner. She said
- 1:22:27Speaker 8: he could not have been she knew him, of course,
- 1:22:30Speaker 8: but her family never met him and didn't know him,
- 1:22:32Speaker 8: and that Ozzy Osbourne just showed up and had he
- 1:22:35Speaker 8: had dinner with him he ate with them. He went
- 1:22:37Speaker 8: and talked with the family, talked to her, you know,
- 1:22:39Speaker 8: siblings and the parents and everybody that was there. Stayed
- 1:22:42Speaker 8: for the dinner, state after hung around for a good time,
- 1:22:44Speaker 8: and then left, said hey, you know, everybody, have a
- 1:22:46Speaker 8: great night. Said he couldn't have been more gracious, couldn't
- 1:22:48Speaker 8: have been more entertaining, and had no earthly idea why
- 1:22:52Speaker 8: he showed up at her house for the holiday. But
- 1:22:57Speaker 8: she said that was the kind of guy that Ozzie
- 1:22:58Speaker 8: actually was. Ozzy got a bit of a bad rap
- 1:23:02Speaker 8: here in Texas for a very long time because he
- 1:23:05Speaker 8: got really plastered after one of his shows in San Antonio.
- 1:23:09Speaker 8: So you probably heard this and got out of it.
- 1:23:12Speaker 8: I guess it was a cab or something and urinated
- 1:23:14Speaker 8: on the wall. It wasn't actually part of the Alamo.
- 1:23:17Speaker 8: Was one of the extending walls of the Alamo, but
- 1:23:20Speaker 8: everybody believed that he got urinated. And then the media,
- 1:23:23Speaker 8: which we now know is fake news, they said that
- 1:23:27Speaker 8: Ozzy pete on the Alamo and they hated him in
- 1:23:31Speaker 8: San Antonio. How dare you do this to one of
- 1:23:35Speaker 8: the most important icons here, you know and deals in
- 1:23:38Speaker 8: Texas for our Texas history. Well, it turns out Ozzie
- 1:23:41Speaker 8: didn't know where he was. He was plastered, he had
- 1:23:44Speaker 8: no idea was actually a part of the Alamo, and
- 1:23:47Speaker 8: then he didn't go back.
- 1:23:48Speaker 9: He got banned from San Antonio for a long time.
- 1:23:51Speaker 8: He didn't go back there until much later when he
- 1:23:54Speaker 8: was doing his I Guess reality series with his son,
- 1:23:58Speaker 8: and his son said we're going to go back to
- 1:24:00Speaker 8: Antonio and Ozzy was like, are you crazy? Are you
- 1:24:02Speaker 8: effing crazy? They're gonna kill me, They're gonna hang me,
- 1:24:05Speaker 8: They're gonna lench me in Texas. Said no, they're not
- 1:24:08Speaker 8: gonna do that. So he went back, took an actual
- 1:24:10Speaker 8: tour of the Alamo, officially apologized to everyone who was there,
- 1:24:15Speaker 8: said he was so sorry, he had no idea, and
- 1:24:16Speaker 8: he'd had a few drinks too many, probably a few
- 1:24:19Speaker 8: other things too many knowing Ozzy and said he was
- 1:24:22Speaker 8: immensely sorry for it and just couldn't apologize enough and
- 1:24:26Speaker 8: was so thankful, and he was welcome back with open arms.
- 1:24:29Speaker 8: Texans are great for giving people, so they forgave him
- 1:24:32Speaker 8: and then he was able to return to San Antonio.
- 1:24:36Speaker 9: But it was parting to get you.
- 1:24:37Speaker 8: Due to his son bringing him over there, and I'm
- 1:24:39Speaker 8: sure his son wouldn't set it up. Wuldn't talk to
- 1:24:41Speaker 8: Beeble and said, hey, listen, Ozzy wants to come and apologize.
- 1:24:45Speaker 8: And we've learned, like I said, over time, the story
- 1:24:47Speaker 8: wasn't quite what the media told us. He wasn't some
- 1:24:50Speaker 8: crazed British dude that came and just urinated on the Alamo.
- 1:24:54Speaker 8: No it wasn't.
- 1:24:55Speaker 9: But how many people don't know that.
- 1:24:57Speaker 8: They probably know just what they heard in the news,
- 1:24:59Speaker 8: And what you heard in the news was crazy Ozzy Osbourne,
- 1:25:02Speaker 8: his complete lack of respect for everything he did that
- 1:25:04Speaker 8: to the Alamo wasn't exactly the case. But it turns
- 1:25:10Speaker 8: out that from lixenon, from all you appearances from his family,
- 1:25:12Speaker 8: he was actually a really good family man.
- 1:25:14Speaker 9: They really liked to, like I said.
- 1:25:16Speaker 8: The way he was. He was good with his kids,
- 1:25:18Speaker 8: he was good with his friends. He was a rock star.
- 1:25:22Speaker 8: So he had his his bouts with probably drugs and
- 1:25:25Speaker 8: infidelity and god knows what, but he did, like I said,
- 1:25:29Speaker 8: they said, when he came to his family and friends,
- 1:25:32Speaker 8: they said, you couldn't have really a better friend than
- 1:25:33Speaker 8: Ozzy was.
- 1:25:34Speaker 9: So it's and once again This is one of.
- 1:25:36Speaker 8: The cases where we were losing some of these great old,
- 1:25:38Speaker 8: you know, rock and rollers, and.
- 1:25:41Speaker 9: It's kind of sad losing them.
- 1:25:42Speaker 8: It's amazing that Ozzy lived as long as he did,
- 1:25:45Speaker 8: as crazy as he was when he was younger. It's
- 1:25:49Speaker 8: amazing that a lot of these rock and rollers are
- 1:25:51Speaker 8: still alive. Of course, we've now seen that a lot
- 1:25:53Speaker 8: of them are dying off. A lot of the big
- 1:25:55Speaker 8: ones from the bands that you know we grew up with,
- 1:25:57Speaker 8: they're starting to die off. And it's it's sad, but
- 1:26:00Speaker 8: that is that's what happens when you approach your two
- 1:26:02Speaker 8: hundred and fiftieth year as a nation. Anyway, Okay, I
- 1:26:07Speaker 8: didn't intend to tell the entire Auzzy story that whole segment,
- 1:26:09Speaker 8: but I just wasted the entire segment. All Right, you're
- 1:26:12Speaker 8: listening to Chris X Radio. If you want to join us,
- 1:26:14Speaker 8: we'll be back here. We'll take a short break. We've
- 1:26:16Speaker 8: got what two segments remaining, so if you want to
- 1:26:18Speaker 8: join us, you can get in. We'll talk a little
- 1:26:20Speaker 8: bit more, maybe about well the Supreme Court and what
- 1:26:24Speaker 8: they're ruling against. Like I said, it was a mixed
- 1:26:26Speaker 8: bag out of the Supreme Court today.
- 1:26:30Speaker 9: I also, I want to make a point. We'll get
- 1:26:33Speaker 9: to this.
- 1:26:34Speaker 8: I got James Tallerfrico and this Texas Land Commissioner defending
- 1:26:39Speaker 8: him at the Democrat national convention.
- 1:26:42Speaker 9: By the way, I saw some video.
- 1:26:45Speaker 8: There was a lot of empty seats at the Democrat
- 1:26:47Speaker 8: I'm sorry, the Texas Democrat convention. It didn't look like
- 1:26:53Speaker 8: to turnout, is what the Democrats are trying to sell
- 1:26:55Speaker 8: us on. So what that gives me is the mid
- 1:27:00Speaker 8: terms are anything but decided at this point. Well, we'll
- 1:27:03Speaker 8: get into that. And we got, of course, Democrat Chris
- 1:27:05Speaker 8: Murphy saying that Trump is trying to rig the elections
- 1:27:08Speaker 8: with the Save America Act, which completely tells me that
- 1:27:11Speaker 8: that's not the case. All Right, you're listening to Chris

- 1:29:43Speaker 19: If it didn't come up, you really don't know what
- 1:29:46Speaker 19: you're preapproved for. That should make you wonder what else
- 1:29:48Speaker 19: they may have left out. At Baker Mortgage, we get
- 1:29:51Speaker 19: it right. We haven't been around for sixty years because
- 1:29:54Speaker 19: we're lucky. Yes, we have wholesale rates eighty ten tens
- 1:29:57Speaker 19: and all kinds of programs, but in the end, and
- 1:30:00Speaker 19: it's really about taking good care of people and they
- 1:30:03Speaker 19: continue to come back and send their kids, their friends

- 1:30:53Speaker 8: one more remaining, so if you want to get in
- 1:30:55Speaker 8: for a run out of time two eight one five
- 1:30:57Speaker 8: five eight KSV two eight one five five eight five
- 1:31:00Speaker 8: seven three eight.
- 1:31:01Speaker 9: Okay, So over the weekend, I guess it.
- 1:31:03Speaker 8: Was Friday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Maybe I don't even know.
- 1:31:08Speaker 8: The Texas Democrat Convention. The state convention took place in
- 1:31:12Speaker 8: Corpus Christie. Corpus Christy is a nice place. It's a
- 1:31:18Speaker 8: great little beach town. Nonetheless, a bunch of Democrats apparently
- 1:31:23Speaker 8: descended upon the area, but it wasn't as many as
- 1:31:26Speaker 8: you might think. There were actually a fair amount of
- 1:31:28Speaker 8: open seats at the convention hall. But also something very
- 1:31:33Speaker 8: interesting happened, which is hilarious considering so the Democrat nominee
- 1:31:39Speaker 8: for Texas Land Commissioner was defending James Talafrico at the
- 1:31:43Speaker 8: convention last week. Ben Flores told the crowd at the
- 1:31:48Speaker 8: convention in Corpus CHRISTI that if James's trans were all trans.
- 1:31:53Speaker 8: He actually said a few things. I think this is
- 1:31:55Speaker 8: a weird strategy. And the more they try to embrace
- 1:31:57Speaker 8: this strategy, the well, I'll just say, the more November
- 1:32:02Speaker 8: is in play.
- 1:32:03Speaker 9: Take a listen. This has been floor is from.
- 1:32:05Speaker 11: Next time they say that James is trans, we're all trans.
- 1:32:09Speaker 11: When they say James he's a gay, total eating vegan,
- 1:32:15Speaker 11: we're all gay, total eating vegans. And when they say
- 1:32:20Speaker 11: James is going to Hell, we'll say we're all going
- 1:32:27Speaker 11: to hell.
- 1:32:31Speaker 8: But jokes on them?
- 1:32:33Speaker 9: But is it on them?
- 1:32:35Speaker 8: Really? Uh, that's pretty funny when they all embrace going
- 1:32:39Speaker 8: to hell. I thought that was kind of funny. And
- 1:32:40Speaker 8: I edited a little bit of some of the applause
- 1:32:42Speaker 8: out of there because they were all applauding like this
- 1:32:44Speaker 8: is great. So the Democrats are going to embrace the
- 1:32:46Speaker 8: idea that James loves tell A Freako, loves the trans children.
- 1:32:53Speaker 8: He's a fanboy for the tranny podcast host. He got
- 1:32:57Speaker 8: Benny fanboys and loves her work. His her I'm not
- 1:33:00Speaker 8: sure what sort of trans, but he's a big fan.
- 1:33:04Speaker 9: The guy is way too excited for trans people.
- 1:33:10Speaker 8: Call yourself a straight or he straight white male or
- 1:33:13Speaker 8: calls himself as cis white male. They got they gotta,
- 1:33:17Speaker 8: you know, somehow tarnish being heterosexual. You know that doesn't
- 1:33:21Speaker 8: play real well with normal folks. But they call him
- 1:33:27Speaker 8: a gay tofu eating vegan says we're all gonna be
- 1:33:31Speaker 8: gay tofu eating vegans. Well, James was the one who
- 1:33:35Speaker 8: claimed that eating meat is an existential threat, so they
- 1:33:39Speaker 8: had to cut it out. Then he campaigned on a
- 1:33:41Speaker 8: needless campaign before immediately doing a one eighty and saying
- 1:33:45Speaker 8: his campaign is powered by Texas Barbecue. Now, so is it?
- 1:33:51Speaker 8: Are we gonna get the James now? Or are we
- 1:33:52Speaker 8: gonna get the James? Then?
- 1:33:54Speaker 9: Which talafreco do we get?
- 1:33:57Speaker 8: If in fact he is elected in November, and then
- 1:34:02Speaker 8: of course he's got his non binary God Jesus were
- 1:34:06Speaker 8: transing the children. I mean there's always you guys know,
- 1:34:09Speaker 8: I have his greatest hits. I like to play them
- 1:34:10Speaker 8: every day. And then so you guys can actually hear
- 1:34:13Speaker 8: what he said out of his own if.
- 1:34:14Speaker 32: They teach you in Sunday School that Jesus Christ himself
- 1:34:18Speaker 32: was a radical feminist. No, the American flag is such
- 1:34:22Speaker 32: a complicated symbol for most of us, is it God
- 1:34:25Speaker 32: is non binary. You can't call yourself a Christian and
- 1:34:28Speaker 32: reject the stranger seeking asylum at our southern border. Our
- 1:34:33Speaker 32: trans community needs abortion care too. Modern science obviously recognized
- 1:34:38Speaker 32: as there are many more than two biological sexes, and
- 1:34:42Speaker 32: that there are six. Pathetic voices like Jesus have helped
- 1:34:45Speaker 32: me reckon with my own whiteness. Our southern border should
- 1:34:49Speaker 32: be like our front porch. There should be a giant
- 1:34:51Speaker 32: welcome mat out front. We are trying to fundamentally change
- 1:34:56Speaker 32: the politics in this state and in this country. No
- 1:35:00Speaker 32: need to sit and cry over, you know, your whiteness
- 1:35:03Speaker 32: or your masculinity.
- 1:35:07Speaker 8: I guess if you're crying over your own whiteness, does
- 1:35:10Speaker 8: that make you a racist? You feel as though being
- 1:35:15Speaker 8: white makes you a racist, so you have to cry
- 1:35:18Speaker 8: over your own whiteness? Is that? I mean that sounds
- 1:35:20Speaker 8: kind of racial to me? Or being ashamed of the
- 1:35:25Speaker 8: American flag? You're ashamed of it. It's hard to reckon
- 1:35:28Speaker 8: with the American leg How much you want to bet
- 1:35:30Speaker 8: he's wearing an American flag this week or this weekend?
- 1:35:33Speaker 8: Anybody want to put any money on it? I saw
- 1:35:35Speaker 8: finally saw one of his television commercials that it was
- 1:35:38Speaker 8: this weekend, and it was him coming out of a
- 1:35:41Speaker 8: store carrying a bag of something I don't know, small
- 1:35:44Speaker 8: look like groceries, and him just basically campaigning on all
- 1:35:47Speaker 8: the things that he's fought against but now trying to
- 1:35:50Speaker 8: take credit for them, which shouldn't shock anyone. And then
- 1:35:53Speaker 8: he's getting in a truck because he's texts just like
- 1:35:56Speaker 8: you and me. That is how they're going to use
- 1:35:59Speaker 8: a hunt undred and fifty million dollars to rebrand this
- 1:36:02Speaker 8: guy to somehow convince the suckers of America. I'm sorry,
- 1:36:06Speaker 8: the suckers here in Texas to elect a trans, loving
- 1:36:11Speaker 8: trans kid, loving trans podcast host, loving weirdo who's trying
- 1:36:16Speaker 8: to parade around as a moderate even though he's got
- 1:36:19Speaker 8: a record to run on as a Texas House representative.
- 1:36:25Speaker 8: And we know that that record that he's trying to
- 1:36:27Speaker 8: run on is anything but moderate. In fact, it is
- 1:36:30Speaker 8: as far left as you can possibly get.
- 1:36:34Speaker 9: But he's running from that now.
- 1:36:39Speaker 8: But don't worry, Ben Flores and the rest of the
- 1:36:41Speaker 8: state convention. Last week, we're just saying that he's if
- 1:36:45Speaker 8: he's a gay tofu eating vegan we're all gay tofu
- 1:36:49Speaker 8: eating vegans, and they say he's going to hell. We're
- 1:36:53Speaker 8: all going to hell. I don't know who's necessarily said that,
- 1:36:56Speaker 8: but I've heard people talking about him, his apostas, if
- 1:37:00Speaker 8: you will. He has clearly used the Bible to try
- 1:37:04Speaker 8: to push his weird trans agenda, his pro abortion agenda,
- 1:37:09Speaker 8: things that the Bible really I don't think there's a
- 1:37:12Speaker 8: lot of trends stuff in the Bible. Is there a
- 1:37:15Speaker 8: secret trends thing that I've missed? Maybe you guys can
- 1:37:17Speaker 8: enlighten me on to eight one five five eight KSV
- 1:37:20Speaker 8: to aid one five eight five.
- 1:37:21Speaker 9: Seven three eight.
- 1:37:22Speaker 8: Maybe there's secret parts of the Bible where Jesus comes
- 1:37:25Speaker 8: out in ease he's for abortion or for trans kids.
- 1:37:34Speaker 8: It's just he's an interesting guy. Is Texas ready for
- 1:37:38Speaker 8: this kind of a senator? Well, they don't think so,
- 1:37:40Speaker 8: because they're not trying to rebrand him that he is
- 1:37:42Speaker 8: anything but what he actually is and what he said
- 1:37:45Speaker 8: and what he stands for, he's now a totally different
- 1:37:47Speaker 8: human being. He said things to be provocative. He doesn't
- 1:37:51Speaker 8: actually believe those things. He's just being provocative. So way
- 1:37:55Speaker 8: you said those things to be provocative to win the primary.
- 1:37:59Speaker 8: So basically, what you're saying his Democrat voter shouldn't vote
- 1:38:01Speaker 8: for him because he's not really that he's what the
- 1:38:03Speaker 8: rest of the state would like.
- 1:38:05Speaker 9: Is that what you're trying to convince us of.
- 1:38:10Speaker 8: They're gonna work really hard to try to convince you
- 1:38:13Speaker 8: that he is anything but what he has stood for
- 1:38:16Speaker 8: in the state House.
- 1:38:18Speaker 9: For the last few years in Texas.
- 1:38:22Speaker 8: They're going to spend one hundred plus million dollars to
- 1:38:25Speaker 8: try to convince you that he is somehow a moderate guy,
- 1:38:28Speaker 8: a moderate white heterosexual male who is only the only
- 1:38:32Speaker 8: lines we found that people that he supposedly dated women
- 1:38:35Speaker 8: are members of his campaign or was it Dan Elasha's
- 1:38:38Speaker 8: calling And you said now that that could be his beards?
- 1:38:42Speaker 9: You know that. I'm sure you've probably heard the story before.
- 1:38:45Speaker 8: If you, uh, if a gay guy is pretending to
- 1:38:50Speaker 8: date a woman, that's his beard. So, but there's really
- 1:38:59Speaker 8: no evidence of him dating other women in other cases.
- 1:39:03Speaker 9: And he does have a bit of.
- 1:39:06Speaker 8: We'll just say, ah, maybe a little little effeminate nature.
- 1:39:13Speaker 8: But the good thing is he's a Christian who hates Christianity.
- 1:39:16Speaker 32: If you think of myself as a Christian who hates Christianity.
- 1:39:20Speaker 8: O what? And then of course he's always God is
- 1:39:27Speaker 8: non binary. Okay, so God is non binary. But at
- 1:39:30Speaker 8: least the good thing is about trans children. Something that
- 1:39:32Speaker 8: you love that's not family or friends.
- 1:39:36Speaker 4: I love. I'm just saying this because it's on my mind.
- 1:39:40Speaker 8: I love, I love, and I'm just saying this on
- 1:39:42Speaker 8: my mind. Okay, what do you love? James?
- 1:39:46Speaker 32: The trans children who showed up yesterday at the state
- 1:39:50Speaker 32: Capitol to advocate for their humanity.
- 1:39:52Speaker 1: They shouldn't have to, but it was an inspiration.
- 1:39:55Speaker 4: To watch h.
- 1:40:02Speaker 8: Once again. They're trying to rebrand this dude in real
- 1:40:04Speaker 8: time as hard as they possibly can.
- 1:40:08Speaker 9: All Right, we gotta take a break. We'll take a break.
- 1:40:09Speaker 8: We'll come back loose like we've got t Air. Tier
- 1:40:11Speaker 8: hold on for me, probably not on Jersey Village. We'll
- 1:40:13Speaker 8: pick up with Tier on the other side. Always enjoy
- 1:40:15Speaker 8: hearing from Tier. Oh. I can only imagine what Tier
- 1:40:19Speaker 8: thinks about mister Telfreeco. In fact, I'm looking forward to

- 1:44:21Speaker 8: The old description this book half Welcome back to chris

- 1:44:33Speaker 8: which airs here each weeknight at six pm here on
- 1:44:36Speaker 8: the Voice on seven hundred am fifteen forty am.
- 1:44:40Speaker 9: Of course you get the video.
- 1:44:41Speaker 8: You want to watch the video at the multiple locations
- 1:44:44Speaker 8: as well, but make sure you stick around for the
- 1:44:47Speaker 8: Craig Collins program. You're only on the Voice of Texas
- 1:44:50Speaker 8: glad to have you here with us. We'll wrap up
- 1:44:51Speaker 8: Chris X Radio once again this entire week. I'm gonna
- 1:44:54Speaker 8: be wearing my patriotic shirts, my seventeen seventy six, twenty
- 1:44:57Speaker 8: twenty six. The two hundred and fifty anniversary, well, I
- 1:45:02Speaker 8: remember celebrating the bi centennial. Then they're the Sesquist centennial,
- 1:45:07Speaker 8: and this is the I don't have no clue what
- 1:45:10Speaker 8: you'd actually call it. I can't. There's a lot it's
- 1:45:12Speaker 8: hard to pronounce. But we are as we roll into
- 1:45:16Speaker 8: the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary of this experiment in democracy,
- 1:45:21Speaker 8: a republic, if you will, and as as was it
- 1:45:25Speaker 8: Benjamin Franklin. They asked them, they said what do you
- 1:45:27Speaker 8: have there? And I think he said, you have a
- 1:45:30Speaker 8: republic if you can keep it. Two hundred and fifty
- 1:45:34Speaker 8: years in, we're still fighting communists to try to keep
- 1:45:36Speaker 8: from taking our republic, and they're getting elected in places
- 1:45:39Speaker 8: like New York and California and Minnesota.
- 1:45:43Speaker 9: I saw what was a Jacob Fry, mayor.
- 1:45:44Speaker 8: Of Minnesota or Minneapolis was celebrating Somali independence, because that's
- 1:45:51Speaker 8: important for us to celebrate the independence of Somalia here
- 1:45:54Speaker 8: in the United States, as we get ready to celebrate
- 1:45:57Speaker 8: two hundred fifty years ago. Pander much. All right two
- 1:46:00Speaker 8: eight one eight KZV two eight one five eight five
- 1:46:04Speaker 8: seven three eight. Let's go to t air before we
- 1:46:06Speaker 8: run out of time. TIERR, thank you for hanging on.
- 1:46:08Speaker 8: Welcome to Chris X Radio. Tier.
- 1:46:15Speaker 9: Are you there? Oh, I can hear you now, I
- 1:46:19Speaker 9: got you?
- 1:46:20Speaker 8: Go right ahead.
- 1:46:20Speaker 10: All well, Chris, It's been a wonderful summer. I've gotten
- 1:46:25Speaker 10: an internship and working at a law office. But when
- 1:46:28Speaker 10: I find so funny about you know, Dame Tolrico, free
- 1:46:32Speaker 10: go every day of the week ago. This guy does
- 1:46:36Speaker 10: not say personality. If you pay attention to Democrats literally
- 1:46:40Speaker 10: have stock puppets. First off, they go screaming about how
- 1:46:44Speaker 10: Nazis Nazis, but then they literally get a guy who's
- 1:46:47Speaker 10: literally a Nazi, and now they're trying to play an office. No,
- 1:46:50Speaker 10: it's not what it seems. We've been suffering from phrases
- 1:46:57Speaker 10: like nazi, fascist, racist, get homophones, and it's like then
- 1:47:02Speaker 10: you guys go and you get closet homophobes, you get
- 1:47:06Speaker 10: closeted racist, you get everything over there. You just put
- 1:47:11Speaker 10: a closet in front of them, and I guess it's
- 1:47:13Speaker 10: a bigger tent party, right, all right, yeah, whatever. Anyway,
- 1:47:18Speaker 10: the funniest thing about a person like you know, James
- 1:47:21Speaker 10: Tollerico free go every day of the week ago he's
- 1:47:25Speaker 10: not even trying to sneak on, but he's all This
- 1:47:32Speaker 10: guy is facially twisted. And I think that what we
- 1:47:36Speaker 10: have to understand now going forth. You look at Andrew
- 1:47:39Speaker 10: Gilliam over there in Florida, and there's been quite a
- 1:47:42Speaker 10: few of these, you know, closeted weirdo type personalities for
- 1:47:46Speaker 10: the last couple of years. Remember, even up in New York,
- 1:47:49Speaker 10: even though he was claiming to be a Republican and
- 1:47:51Speaker 10: so on and so forth, he got kicked out because
- 1:47:54Speaker 10: eventually said, well, he's actually gay and he's not this,
- 1:47:57Speaker 10: and he's not that he does to be a Repubblican. Well,
- 1:47:59Speaker 10: here's the problem. And this is where I encourage us
- 1:48:01Speaker 10: to start digging deeper, because you, Scott should already know,
- 1:48:05Speaker 10: there's a group of people who work out in this
- 1:48:07Speaker 10: world who what they do is that they push somebody
- 1:48:11Speaker 10: with all these little calls dug into them about who
- 1:48:14Speaker 10: they really are, so that where they can twist them,
- 1:48:17Speaker 10: bend them and continually abuse them to keep themselves in power.
- 1:48:22Speaker 10: And when I say keep themselves in power, I'm not
- 1:48:24Speaker 10: talking about the congressman. Okay, we have to have a
- 1:48:27Speaker 10: sobering understanding that there needs to be a healthy distrust
- 1:48:30Speaker 10: of our government all the time. We must remain vigilant. Guys,
- 1:48:35Speaker 10: I missed the nineties, I miss the X files. I
- 1:48:39Speaker 10: remember it's the government. I remember the smoking guy, the
- 1:48:43Speaker 10: guy who was smoking according with the trench coat and
- 1:48:45Speaker 10: would sit there and disappear, and he was actually an
- 1:48:48Speaker 10: FBI or CIA agent, or he was part of the
- 1:48:50Speaker 10: media one to force the state members. Remember that statement.
- 1:48:53Speaker 10: But recently, I guess because September eleventh, because of our
- 1:48:56Speaker 10: admiration for those who are willing to die for our freedom,
- 1:49:00Speaker 10: we begin to get away from a distrust and begin
- 1:49:02Speaker 10: to embrace them. And what's happened now is that you
- 1:49:05Speaker 10: have these guys who have no personality. They can't even
- 1:49:08Speaker 10: tell you what they really are about, because hey, they're
- 1:49:11Speaker 10: like every politician we've ever had in history. Again, tell
- 1:49:15Speaker 10: me an innovative story about a politician that have no personality,
- 1:49:19Speaker 10: miles for the camera and lies every time. Remember my friends,
- 1:49:25Speaker 10: Ronald Round, Megan once said, Hey, the only threat there
- 1:49:29Speaker 10: is is whenever you hear somebody say Hi, I'm here
- 1:49:32Speaker 10: to help and I'm from the government. Remember, my friends,
- 1:49:35Speaker 10: there's nothing more permanent than a temporary government program. That's
- 1:49:40Speaker 10: my time, and I'm out.
- 1:49:42Speaker 8: Thank you for the golf here as always met. You
- 1:49:44Speaker 8: were exceptionally funny today. I like that what James tall
- 1:49:48Speaker 8: Rico a freco every day of the week. Oo, that's
- 1:49:50Speaker 8: really good. I like that. I heard some people referring
- 1:49:53Speaker 8: to him as well. He's now Pedo O'Rourke, so that's
- 1:49:56Speaker 8: kind of funny too. I think you nailed it, though
- 1:49:59Speaker 8: he really he has no personality. In fact, I'll even
- 1:50:02Speaker 8: just play a little audio from you from him at
- 1:50:05Speaker 8: different campaign stops being played at the exact same time time.
- 1:50:07Speaker 4: I've gone to every corner of this.
- 1:50:10Speaker 32: Campaign, from Beaumont too, from Amarilla or Brownsville, everywhere in between.
- 1:50:16Speaker 4: And I can't tell you the number of people who
- 1:50:18Speaker 4: come up to me at the end of these events
- 1:50:20Speaker 4: and whisper I'm not a Democrat. They're in the women's
- 1:50:24Speaker 4: protection program.
- 1:50:26Speaker 8: I mean, the guy's simply reciting lines he'd be You're
- 1:50:29Speaker 8: right on.
- 1:50:30Speaker 9: And then the other aspect of it.
- 1:50:31Speaker 8: It's either somebody with absolutely no personality whatsoever that you
- 1:50:35Speaker 8: just could not have nailed, who may be in feminine, heterosexual,
- 1:50:38Speaker 8: or who knows what he is who cares?
- 1:50:41Speaker 9: I don't care.
- 1:50:41Speaker 8: We care about what he loves and what he loves
- 1:50:43Speaker 8: his trans children and trans podcast host.
- 1:50:46Speaker 9: He's big fan.
- 1:50:47Speaker 8: He's a fanboy. That's weird to me, to be a
- 1:50:50Speaker 8: grown man. That's very weird. And then the other cut
- 1:50:54Speaker 8: side of the spectrum is they literally vote for Nazi's
- 1:50:57Speaker 8: a guy with a Nazi tattoo on his chest that
- 1:50:59Speaker 8: is a walking hash tag me too, that is abused women,
- 1:51:02Speaker 8: abuses women. He's just he literally stands for everything they
- 1:51:06Speaker 8: claim to be against. And they put this guy up
- 1:51:08Speaker 8: because we have to remove who from Congress Susan Collins
- 1:51:12Speaker 8: of Maine, that radical Susan Collins is the most left
- 1:51:18Speaker 8: wing voting Republican in the Senate, and they put up
- 1:51:24Speaker 8: a Nazi against her.
- 1:51:25Speaker 9: I don't think they're gonna win.
- 1:51:26Speaker 8: If they do, then we're further off down that wrong
- 1:51:29Speaker 8: road than ever. But you couldn't have nailed it any better.
- 1:51:32Speaker 8: Thank you for the call. Always good to hear from
- 1:51:34Speaker 8: our good friend Tier who likes said, I love the
- 1:51:37Speaker 8: way Tier looks at it. He looks at the world
- 1:51:39Speaker 8: very similar to the way that I do. All right,
- 1:51:41Speaker 8: let's go to Jimmy X before we run out of time. Jimmy,
- 1:51:43Speaker 8: thank you for hanging on. Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:51:48Speaker 1: Well without trying to close here, but I think it's
- 1:51:50Speaker 1: mu unfair that you're putting me after Pierre Man. That
- 1:51:54Speaker 1: is one hard act to follow.
- 1:51:57Speaker 9: Yeah, he was really good today. He was hilarious too.
- 1:52:02Speaker 1: So it's the two twenty five was the semi print centennial.
- 1:52:09Speaker 1: But now that America has evolved, it's really this one
- 1:52:13Speaker 1: is America to city. Okay, city, that's this all you
- 1:52:18Speaker 1: gotta say.
- 1:52:19Speaker 8: That's it.
- 1:52:20Speaker 9: It's America too, Fitty, We're good. Just go with that.
- 1:52:23Speaker 9: And okay, all right, I can I can handle that.
- 1:52:26Speaker 9: It's a lot easier than whatever.
- 1:52:31Speaker 1: So and Chris X, I may owe you an apology
- 1:52:34Speaker 1: on Friday on the egos. I know that Chris Salcedo
- 1:52:40Speaker 1: has spoken about it, but there was something several weeks
- 1:52:43Speaker 1: ago about John Corny saying that he was going to
- 1:52:48Speaker 1: support the independent candidate or Senate and I thought you
- 1:52:53Speaker 1: possibly had talked about that as well. So I may
- 1:52:57Speaker 1: have gotten over my s peat a little bit by
- 1:52:59Speaker 1: saying that I had heard the discussion on your show
- 1:53:02Speaker 1: and Salvado Show.
- 1:53:05Speaker 9: I haven't talked much about it.
- 1:53:07Speaker 8: I don't know what John Corny is gonna do, so
- 1:53:08Speaker 8: I haven't really discussed it.
- 1:53:13Speaker 1: Okay, well I didn't want to, you know, have blasphed
- 1:53:18Speaker 1: me on the air and give out false information.
- 1:53:21Speaker 8: Thanks for the calle, Jimmy. We're literally out of time.
- 1:53:24Speaker 9: You get the final word.
- 1:53:25Speaker 8: I know you like to deal in facts, which explains
- 1:53:28Speaker 8: why you're not a Democrat. All right, ganging. The Craig
- 1:53:29Speaker 8: Collins program is up next. Thanks for the call, Jimmy.
- 1:53:32Speaker 8: We'll see you guys for taco Tuesday.
