- 0:00Jared eyes of man who's the founder of shift for payments
- 0:03has already had a mission to space inspiration for was a
- 0:07four-person crewed mission to space in the orbit of the earth
- 0:12a bunch of times. And on top of the crew dragon
- 0:15that they were all inside of there.
- 0:17Was this giant Dome, the largest window that's ever been put into
- 0:20space with people behind it. They got to look out.
- 0:23They got to take photos through this domed bubble window, but
- 0:26now this new one is Polaris Dawn.
- 0:30Ram, this is even better going to be doing an Eva outside of
- 0:35the capsule, which means go outside of the capsule, which is
- 0:39amazing, which hasn't been done before on a private spaceflight.
- 0:43So here you can see Jared doing some testing, right?
- 0:47So Jared in the Polaris Dawn program, tweeted this, our crew,
- 0:50completed this first week of Eva, training practicing
- 0:54Maneuvers necessary to move in and out of dragon during a
- 0:56spacewalk. They also reviewed development
- 0:59of VA technology and Lessons Learned From the last 50 years
- 1:04and there will be four people on this Mission but how many people
- 1:07will be going outside of the capsule and who gets to be that
- 1:12lucky person. So down here in the Tweet is the
- 1:14whole capsule gonna be depressurize during the Eva.
- 1:17And how many of you are planning to perform the spacewalk SpaceX?
- 1:21Ninja ESPN CX, 24/7. All for they say Jared responds
- 1:27correct. The entire cabin will vent.
- 1:29Down to vacuum. And there will be two crew
- 1:32members that will exit the vehicle.
- 1:34So basically, they're going to be exposed to space.
- 1:37They're going to open up the top of the capsule.
- 1:39Everybody inside is going to be exposed to space.
- 1:43And the harshness of it, they'll be in space suits and two people
- 1:46will exit the vehicle. Now, he did go into detail about
- 1:50how many people are going out at the same time, is it going to be
- 1:53one person? Or is it going to be two people?
- 1:56The buddy system seems like a really good idea when you're
- 1:59doing a Walk. So, I'm assuming there's going
- 2:01to be two people out there. And as you can see, they've also
- 2:07implemented these grab bars. As you're climbing out of the
- 2:13capsule, pull yourself up and slowly make your way outside of
- 2:17the capsule and into the vacuum of space.
- 2:20Now, let's go into a little bit more detail about the Polaris
- 2:23Don program. This is from their website, the
- 2:25mission is coming no earlier than March of 2020.
- 2:29III. And there's going to be the
- 2:30first commercial space walk. Here's what I was talking about
- 2:33earlier, 700 kilometers above the Earth, first ever commercial
- 2:37Eva with SpaceX designed Eva suit.
- 2:41So SpaceX is doing the suits, they're also doing the rocket,
- 2:44they're also doing the capsule. So it's an all-in-one kind of
- 2:47thing in their upgraded suits from the IV, a, which is the
- 2:53internal vehicular suit, which is the thing that they use in
- 2:57the Falcon 9 crew Dragon scenario.
- 3:00Now, building a base on the moon, a city on Mars will
- 3:02require thousands of space suits.
- 3:04The development of the suit in the execution of, the Eva will
- 3:08be important steps towards a scalable designed for space
- 3:11suits on future long-duration missions.
- 3:13So they're using the suit technology for this.
- 3:16First mission to get to Mars, eventually, so these Eva suits.
- 3:22They need these suits to go off planet and to go through the
- 3:27solar system and to get get to Mars, which is an incredible
- 3:32feat. But this is the first step at
- 3:358:18 p.m. eastern time. SpaceX successfully launched a
- 3:40Falcon 9 rocket with 54 starlink satellites onboard and the
- 3:45countdown to this was kind of ominous.
- 3:48There was a 40%, go due to weather.
- 3:52So SpaceX was holding tight on their launch schedule for that
- 3:55night. The primary weather concerns for
- 3:57Sunday, evenings liftoff attempt where the Anvil cloud rule in
- 4:01the Disturbed weather Rule and 38 minutes before.
- 4:04Liftoff SpaceX had to do a go or no go for this launch.
- 4:08They chose to go at around 7, 49 p.m. the show is brought to you

- 6:24SpaceX started flowing, supercooled liquid oxygen, and
- 6:27kerosene into the 230 foot. Foot tall rocket for the launch
- 6:31and at 8:18 p.m. SpaceX launched the Falcon 9
- 6:36rocket with the 54, internet satellites on top of it from the
- 6:40Cape Canaveral space force station in Florida and about
- 6:43nine minutes into the flight SpaceX confirmed that the first
- 6:48stage of the Falcon 9 rocket landed on their drone ship.
- 6:51Just read the instructions in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast
- 6:55of South Carolina and at 8:36 p.m.
- 6:57SpaceX confirmed the deployment Of all 54 starlink internet
- 7:02satellites. Now.
- 7:03What are the kind of back up a little bit?
- 7:04And if you're not very familiar with starlink and it's, let's
- 7:07break this down for you, SpaceX is Internet satellite.
- 7:12Started link will provide broadband internet connection,
- 7:15gaming speed, internet connection video, streaming
- 7:18internet connections to the masses that are in rural areas.
- 7:22Say, if you're just out of the reach of a cable company, and
- 7:27they won't run a cable to your home SpaceX.
- 7:29Is starlink is probably the way you want to go.
- 7:32You can go to starlink.com and check the availability in your
- 7:35area but it's a little dish. You post up outside of your
- 7:40house and as long as it has a clear view of the sky, you have
- 7:44internet connection and it's fast.
- 7:46The, the the speeds are like I was saying before gaming speeds,
- 7:51and also you can stream numerous devices with Netflix Hulu
- 7:56whatever you want to watch you can watch Lord of the Rings if
- 7:59you want to. On Amazon Prime.
- 8:02But you have to have a fast internet connection do that and
- 8:06that's what starlink is all about.
- 8:07So we have a buddy down in Florida.
- 8:08Jedi Master, Jedi Mas four nine four six, seven, nine, four,
- 8:13eight on Twitter. Posted this up on their Twitter
- 8:16account and tag me in it and I want to show you this enjoy.
- 8:19Well I just film this Falcon 9 launch tonight.
- 8:22This is the Falcon 9 launch. We're talking about this is from
- 8:24their yard so if you live in Florida this is what you could
- 8:28see. From your yard possibly if
- 8:31you're close enough from from the launch.
- 8:34So this is pretty amazing. And when I saw my Falcon 9
- 8:37launch, I saw the crew to launch go up and it was pretty dark
- 8:41morning. But you can see it's like the
- 8:43sun is rising really fast and it's going through the closet.
- 8:46Just peeked through the clouds. They're a pop to the closets.
- 8:49Going to hit Max Q any second now, but you can't see it
- 8:52through the clouds. Thanks John, I master for that
- 8:54video. That's really cool.
- 8:56I appreciate all your support and appreciate this video
- 8:59because it's pretty, To see the local stuff SpaceX is currently
- 9:02building Starship in South Texas off the coast of South Padre,
- 9:07Island, Boca Chica Beach area, Starbase Texas.
- 9:12And with Starship, they will be able to provide more internet
- 9:17access to rural communities because Starling V2 fits in a
- 9:22Starship very well and they'll be able to deploy more star
- 9:25Links at the same time than they can do on a Falcon 9 rocket.
- 9:29So in the future, ER, better connectivity because startling
- 9:32version 2 offers a better connectivity, but also you'll be
- 9:35able to connect via your phone. Any sort of phone device that
- 9:39you currently have starlink will work with most smartphones and
- 9:45T-Mobile and SpaceX came together and they made that
- 9:48deal. But also SpaceX has been in
- 9:50talks with apple about this as well.
- 9:52So maybe in the future in the sort of near future next few
- 9:56years, once they get started link up and in orbit Yeah,
- 10:00Starship. Then we're going to have better
- 10:02connectivity via our phones, but they're also working on an hls
- 10:06system which is all for a whole other video but the hls is the
- 10:10Starship that lands on the moon. So thanks for watching
- 10:14everybody. I do appreciate your time.
- 10:15I appreciate your subscription and also your like of this
- 10:18video. And if you could leave a comment
- 10:20down below, what do you think about this video?
- 10:22What do you think about Jared? Isaacman and the Polaris Don
- 10:25program, I think it's pretty cool.
- 10:27I think it's pretty groundbreaking, and I think it's
- 10:28pretty amazing. Seeing what they're doing with
- 10:31private space flight. So thanks everybody take care
- 10:34and I'll see you next.
