Politicians of both parties have lost the trust of many American people. Much of today’s legacy mainstream news media has become an empty, corrupt shadow of what it once was. It is troubling that the “Fourth Estate,” once rooted in freedom of the press, now too often promotes lies, indoctrination, and distorted truth. Many cable, satellite, and streaming channels have also abandoned the standards of legitimate journalism.
