Buffalo Sabres just locked up young defenseman Olen Zellweger to a three-year, $9.3M deal — averaging $3.1M annually — after trading for him from Anaheim. The 22-year-old, drafted 34th overall in 2021, posted career highs with 22 points last season and chipped in during the Ducks’ playoff run.
