- 3:58Speaker 2: of the incarcerated authors that's a part of this movement.
- 4:03Speaker 2: So tonight I'm going to give him an opportunity to
- 4:06Speaker 2: introduce hisself and then we're gonna talk about his journey
- 4:09Speaker 2: as an author, how he decided to tap into this

- 4:20Speaker 2: and those things. So I want you guys to sit back.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I want you to share this out with someone in

- 4:37Speaker 2: on in the studio. Mister author Cornell Jackie Drummer, if
- 4:44Speaker 2: you would please introduce yourself, sir, Hello, ma'am, how.
- 4:49Speaker 3: You're doing tonight. Thank you for having MEAs and you know,
- 5:00Speaker 3: I appreciate this opportunity to come on tonight to be
- 5:03Speaker 3: able to share my story about, you know, being an
- 5:07Speaker 3: inspired author. And I appreciate, like I said, having this
- 5:10Speaker 3: opportunity to be here tonight because you know, we all
- 5:13Speaker 3: have a voice. I would love to share my story,
- 5:16Speaker 3: you know, in order to you know, prove that you know,
- 5:18Speaker 3: I am a voice for those who needed a voice.
- 5:21Speaker 3: And I appreciate your having to me on that.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Well. I thank you for coming on and sharing with us.
- 5:32Speaker 2: I would like for you to share this journey into authorship.
- 5:37Speaker 2: I understand that you are incarcerated, and I know that
- 5:42Speaker 2: even on the outside, trying to become an author can
- 5:47Speaker 2: be hard. It could be trials and tribulations and challenges.
- 5:54Speaker 2: So being incarcerated, what has this journey been like? For you.
- 6:00Speaker 2: First off, have you published any work yet or are
- 6:08Speaker 2: you still working on your book?
- 6:13Speaker 3: Well, man, I have a little short story, but that
- 6:16Speaker 3: right now, you know what I'm saying. But I just
- 6:18Speaker 3: right now I'm working on a book that's the five
- 6:20Speaker 3: of the product of my environment, because you know, you know,
- 6:23Speaker 3: and I think that the millions of Americans in the
- 6:26Speaker 3: United States, that a lot of us from the low
- 6:30Speaker 3: you know, company homes in middle class. You know, we
- 6:32Speaker 3: all come from an environment that you know, I can
- 6:35Speaker 3: say that, you know, has a lot of all these
- 6:38Speaker 3: individuals to you know, become products of an environment that
- 6:43Speaker 3: has led to drugs, use of alcohol, use, prostitution, crimes
- 6:48Speaker 3: and all these things. Man, still you know, coming from
- 6:51Speaker 3: that environment. Man, you know, I feel that I have
- 6:54Speaker 3: a testimony. I would love to tell my stories about
- 6:56Speaker 3: my life history because my life history, you go a
- 7:01Speaker 3: lot of people here in the United States.
- 7:05Speaker 2: And I know a lot of people, and I was hesitant.
- 7:10Speaker 2: I was one of those people that thought that who
- 7:15Speaker 2: wants to hear what I have to say? Have that
- 7:19Speaker 2: crossed your mind? Especially being someone that is incarcerated, you know,
- 7:26Speaker 2: oftentimes people don't want to hear from people on the street.
- 7:31Speaker 2: So let alone from someone being incarcerated. So I want
- 7:35Speaker 2: to I want to share these hard questions, these questions
- 7:39Speaker 2: that people may not want to ask. And these are
- 7:43Speaker 2: some things that sometimes happen to people, and people don't
- 7:46Speaker 2: like to talk about it, you know, when things happen
- 7:50Speaker 2: sometimes we like to brush it under the world. So
- 7:53Speaker 2: what made you stand up and say, Okay, I have something.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Maybe I made a mistake, but I have something that
- 7:59Speaker 2: I think somebody want to hear.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Okay, man, good question.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Man.
- 8:05Speaker 3: I was, you know, I was sitting back and I
- 8:07Speaker 3: was thinking over my life, and I was asking myself
- 8:10Speaker 3: for why have I ended up in prison so many
- 8:13Speaker 3: times before now? And why is it that millions and
- 8:17Speaker 3: millions of kids to following the same path that they're
- 8:20Speaker 3: battling before them following? So, you know, being dread like this,
- 8:24Speaker 3: you know, he has has allowed me the opportunity to
- 8:27Speaker 3: sit down and subbind myself, to be patient with myself
- 8:30Speaker 3: in order to understand my whole life Johnny and all,
- 8:33Speaker 3: and then to be able to put it down on
- 8:35Speaker 3: paper and order for somebody to see it and read
- 8:39Speaker 3: it instead. This, sir, you know it's him, because I'm
- 8:43Speaker 3: quite sure that you know this is them a topic
- 8:45Speaker 3: in line in my class about you know, alcohol, you drugs.
- 8:49Speaker 3: You you know, while I commit the crime, why am
- 8:52Speaker 3: I in prison? Well this is for a lot of people, man,
- 8:56Speaker 3: you know coming up in the exercizes today. You know,
- 9:00Speaker 3: look at our systems. We got gang bothers now, you know,
- 9:03Speaker 3: out of all time time, we got our prison systems
- 9:05Speaker 3: busting out the scenes. You know, we got people committed
- 9:09Speaker 3: suicide on and all that. All these types of drugs,
- 9:12Speaker 3: you know, different types of drugs you can't eat from else.
- 9:15Speaker 3: So people we want them is just because of being
- 9:17Speaker 3: a product of an environment. Because you know, when somebody
- 9:21Speaker 3: spoke before and said it said, our communities can do
- 9:24Speaker 3: better by our kids, but our government has taken away
- 9:27Speaker 3: all these communities. You know what I'm saying, programs, and
- 9:30Speaker 3: you know, and and now with that ding saved, a
- 9:33Speaker 3: lot of these kids are falling into that same even
- 9:35Speaker 3: program being a product of an environment that lives the prisons. Man.
- 9:40Speaker 3: So you know my story, I feel that I have
- 9:42Speaker 3: a powerful story enough to be able to have somebody
- 9:45Speaker 3: that can relation to the stories and to change because
- 9:48Speaker 3: I've changed my life now, you know, being a being
- 9:51Speaker 3: an author, now it makes me feel good about my
- 9:53Speaker 3: steps to know that I can consult there that can
- 9:56Speaker 3: help somebody else not come to prison or not use drugs. Man, So.
- 10:04Speaker 2: How have you began to utilize those times? I know
- 10:07Speaker 2: you said you have a short storybook out and you
- 10:13Speaker 2: said you were working on your actual biography. So what
- 10:19Speaker 2: are you doing two to get this to go? And
- 10:24Speaker 2: what what what have you I guess put in in
- 10:29Speaker 2: in the works so far?
- 10:33Speaker 3: Okay, Man, I'm collaborating with some powerful people. You know
- 10:37Speaker 3: that the platforms that I have been been a part of,
- 10:40Speaker 3: you know, over the last two years, in spite of
- 10:44Speaker 3: other magazine, promo, news, magazine, you know, count culture, these
- 10:48Speaker 3: types of programs that I'm to learn more about myself man,
- 10:53Speaker 3: you know, in order to be able to express myself,
- 10:55Speaker 3: to sell my story of actively so yes, to help
- 11:01Speaker 3: people understand where I'm at, how to get them matter.
- 11:08Speaker 2: So outside of a biography, because I know oftentimes we
- 11:11Speaker 2: want to tell our story, how do you feel that
- 11:18Speaker 2: your story could branch out into other things? I know
- 11:23Speaker 2: often for me and I'm just gonna speak for me.
- 11:26Speaker 2: When I first started writing and first started doing the
- 11:29Speaker 2: things that I were doing, I wanted to know what
- 11:34Speaker 2: else could I do besides write books? What what else
- 11:38Speaker 2: could I do to get my story truly out there
- 11:43Speaker 2: and to truly help people, because not all the time
- 11:45Speaker 2: people want to pick up a book and read a book.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Not all the time people wanted to you know, even
- 11:51Speaker 2: listen to the podcast. So I was trying to figure out,
- 11:55Speaker 2: you know, different things that you know, we can incorporate.
- 11:58Speaker 2: So as an ourth there because are you an author?
- 12:02Speaker 2: Are you a writer? Because I guess I need to
- 12:05Speaker 2: ask that question too, because because we write books does
- 12:09Speaker 2: not often means that we're an author or we're a writer.
- 12:13Speaker 2: So which do you classify yourself as an author or
- 12:17Speaker 2: a writer?
- 12:19Speaker 3: Well, now you know that's a good question. You know,
- 12:21Speaker 3: I really do classify myself as both. Why Because I
- 12:24Speaker 3: love to write and my ideas are very powerful, so
- 12:27Speaker 3: saying my stories are very authentic, So write my story
- 12:31Speaker 3: or write any story. You know. I deal with the
- 12:33Speaker 3: criminal justice sistem. I deal with helping other other individuals
- 12:37Speaker 3: tell about themselves, and you know, I think they may
- 12:39Speaker 3: take a lot. You know, people like like for what
- 12:42Speaker 3: I do. So you know I really classified I set
- 12:45Speaker 3: up as an individual who can do both. Man, I
- 12:47Speaker 3: would love to ta you know a power and shign
- 12:50Speaker 3: author man. But my writing tales are very unique man
- 12:54Speaker 3: to whether when I tell my story it's authentic. Man,
- 12:58Speaker 3: I tell the powerful story and I won't have a
- 13:00Speaker 3: bee in my story. And that's what I hope people
- 13:02Speaker 3: take from my story, the authentication real us and my
- 13:05Speaker 3: story that they can resonate from and to see that
- 13:09Speaker 3: you know, they can change, they can get some help
- 13:11Speaker 3: out of my storviet.
- 13:14Speaker 2: So what are three takeaways that if someone was to
- 13:20Speaker 2: pick up your book? What would you want them to
- 13:25Speaker 2: take away from your books?
- 13:28Speaker 3: Okay? One, I would love them to take the fact
- 13:32Speaker 3: that you know out like that change, change is awful,
- 13:37Speaker 3: Change is often changers, man. And then we have to
- 13:39Speaker 3: set bounties within ourselves and order for us to be
- 13:42Speaker 3: able to understand our life, our journey, where we are
- 13:46Speaker 3: and where we're going and how to get them. So
- 13:48Speaker 3: Number one, I would love them to take away the
- 13:50Speaker 3: fact that you know, change is very needed in a
- 13:54Speaker 3: lot of our lives and that we have to keep
- 13:56Speaker 3: God first in order to be able to make change,
- 13:59Speaker 3: because we need a power, a power power how honimals
- 14:03Speaker 3: in order to do the things that we need to do. Man.
- 14:06Speaker 3: Number two, I would love for people to know that
- 14:08Speaker 3: you know that our voices are powerful and that we
- 14:11Speaker 3: have a voice and we have to stand up and
- 14:12Speaker 3: speak out in order to get be able to help
- 14:15Speaker 3: kids out there in the world and to help people,
- 14:17Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying, to understand that they can
- 14:19Speaker 3: do better with themselves. That's really number one. I mean
- 14:23Speaker 3: number two because the fact that you know a lot
- 14:25Speaker 3: of people out there in the world are struggling. Man,
- 14:27Speaker 3: kids are going to film that young agents commit clim
- 14:29Speaker 3: the young agent I would like to be in that
- 14:31Speaker 3: community in order to be to create program, to affect
- 14:35Speaker 3: the program in order for these kids to use the
- 14:37Speaker 3: studentize in order to help them change and not compliance.
- 14:41Speaker 3: And number three, I would love for people to take
- 14:43Speaker 3: away the fact that I am a powerful voice as
- 14:47Speaker 3: far as any vision will will come from an experience,
- 14:49Speaker 3: come from a lifestyle that you know, your name it
- 14:52Speaker 3: out there there, so you know with that then said,
- 14:55Speaker 3: I know that a lot of people can feal the
- 14:57Speaker 3: reality of who I am as a post and that's
- 15:01Speaker 3: what I would love it to take away from that
- 15:03Speaker 3: to the reality of the fact that I could tell
- 15:05Speaker 3: my story and I could be unique about selling the story. Man, So.
- 15:14Speaker 2: As an incarcerated individual in writing this, how long have
- 15:20Speaker 2: you been in the process of writing this particular book.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Well, man, that's a good question. Recently, you know, I've
- 15:33Speaker 3: been thinking about it and I said, you know, I
- 15:36Speaker 3: need to as a matter of fact, in the class
- 15:38Speaker 3: and give you're a curriculum and it asks you to
- 15:41Speaker 3: give you twelve portions and asks you to write an
- 15:43Speaker 3: auto biography about you, you know, your life. So when
- 15:46Speaker 3: I started it out, I started out with the fact
- 15:49Speaker 3: that my name is boy Coma and it's called who
- 15:52Speaker 3: am I? My name is the boy coming. I never
- 15:55Speaker 3: knew that I never had a name until I was
- 15:56Speaker 3: sixteen below And when I realized that I didn't have
- 15:59Speaker 3: a name, I come to find out that I have
- 16:02Speaker 3: a story to tell because the fact that I didn't
- 16:04Speaker 3: have a name. And when I learned that I didn't
- 16:06Speaker 3: have a name, I had to figure out how do
- 16:08Speaker 3: I get a name? And when I got the name,
- 16:10Speaker 3: I have to learn the fact that do for my
- 16:12Speaker 3: cufum that I had a story tale but the fact
- 16:15Speaker 3: that I didn't have a name. So this is one
- 16:17Speaker 3: of my auto bioue is all the fact where am I?
- 16:20Speaker 3: Where did I come from you know, how I get
- 16:22Speaker 3: where I'm at, Where am I going? And how am
- 16:24Speaker 3: I getting there? Man?
- 16:26Speaker 2: So you have a question. The question is who do
- 16:29Speaker 2: you hope to reach with your books?
- 16:34Speaker 3: Man, I hope to reach millions of you know, individuals
- 16:40Speaker 3: who are you know, strugg living in a life trying
- 16:42Speaker 3: to understand who they are.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Man.
- 16:44Speaker 3: You know youngst us, you know kids just in school
- 16:48Speaker 3: that's using drugs. He's just in school, that's you know,
- 16:52Speaker 3: that's not even into keisus out down the streets doing wrong,
- 16:54Speaker 3: committing firms and thanks to this nature because they are
- 16:58Speaker 3: the ones who have to underst and that you know,
- 17:02Speaker 3: committing crimes to do it, don and stuff it leads
- 17:04Speaker 3: to a path of destruction matter and that we needed
- 17:08Speaker 3: to understand that this is not good for us. So
- 17:12Speaker 3: I would love to read anybody who's willing to pick
- 17:15Speaker 3: up my book and read it, and mostly those in
- 17:18Speaker 3: the little good development of environments now and anyone that's
- 17:21Speaker 3: willing to read my bookment.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Well, I definitely want to thank you for stopping by
- 17:32Speaker 2: and sharing with us. I have two more questions. I
- 17:36Speaker 2: want to ask you why and how did you find
- 17:42Speaker 2: out about the one hundred Authors movement? And what made
- 17:46Speaker 2: you decide to join this movement? Well, actually three questions.
- 17:50Speaker 2: This is a three part question. How did you find
- 17:52Speaker 2: out about the one hundred author movement? What made you
- 17:55Speaker 2: decide to join the movement?
- 17:57Speaker 3: And how.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Challenging has it been to be a part of this
- 18:05Speaker 2: movement and be incarcerated? Have it been beneficial or have
- 18:11Speaker 2: it just been something that you've been a part of.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Have you have you benefited from being a part of
- 18:17Speaker 2: this movement?
- 18:20Speaker 3: Okay, the number one question I would like to answer
- 18:23Speaker 3: to that is that I have been a part of
- 18:26Speaker 3: the Cool podcast for two years. Man, it was something
- 18:30Speaker 3: that God knocked in my life to be a part
- 18:33Speaker 3: of the Cool podcast. By an accident and becoming a
- 18:37Speaker 3: part of the Cool podcast, I realize the power of
- 18:40Speaker 3: the Poo podcast. And missus Angela so much sleep. She
- 18:45Speaker 3: has taught me a lot. She taught me how be
- 18:47Speaker 3: able to not fear, seeking, not fear having, of course,
- 18:52Speaker 3: not fear, you know, coming out of your shell. She
- 18:55Speaker 3: told me how to have courage, to be able to speak,
- 18:57Speaker 3: to tell my story, and not just to tell my story,
- 18:59Speaker 3: but to stand up and be a boy for thousands
- 19:02Speaker 3: and millions of people around the world. Man, so with
- 19:05Speaker 3: the Cool Podcast, I have also tapped them to uh,
- 19:08Speaker 3: let's talk about the radio show with my co host
- 19:11Speaker 3: Business and at Jobson. She's a very insigned individual who
- 19:14Speaker 3: has assigned me to be able to come on to
- 19:17Speaker 3: do the same that I do and talk about the
- 19:19Speaker 3: names I talk about them, which insurprids me the author
- 19:22Speaker 3: to you know, be a part of the proof body asks.
- 19:25Speaker 3: So I'm very thankful for everything that I've learned from
- 19:28Speaker 3: missus and Thomas Smith, which is yourself. You're talking to
- 19:32Speaker 3: me a lot, and I appreciate y'all. Thank you very much.
- 19:35Speaker 3: Tag a thing that I've learned from you feel powerful
- 19:38Speaker 3: and I will always be a part of the Cool
- 19:40Speaker 3: Podcast and a spinal Auso magazine.
- 19:44Speaker 2: So there's another question. There's another question for you. I
- 19:48Speaker 2: want to get the audience questions and then we can
- 19:50Speaker 2: go back to my question. So there's another question. Once
- 19:55Speaker 2: you are released, are you planning to do a book tour?
- 20:01Speaker 3: Yes, Sam, I would have loved to. I would have
- 20:03Speaker 3: loved nothing more than to do a book to a
- 20:05Speaker 3: man I would look at. That's something I'm very excited
- 20:08Speaker 3: about and something I look forward to doing. Man, because listen,
- 20:12Speaker 3: you know I've never realized how important it is to
- 20:14Speaker 3: write a book and how important short stories are, Paul,
- 20:18Speaker 3: So I haven't realized that growing up. And if you write,
- 20:21Speaker 3: a lot of people don't even you know, read, But
- 20:24Speaker 3: for those that do, Paul short stories write books, that's
- 20:27Speaker 3: some very unique stuff. And I'm glad. I thank God
- 20:30Speaker 3: that he put me in the path of Missusanels Thomas Smith, because,
- 20:34Speaker 3: like I said, you have taught me a lot, and
- 20:36Speaker 3: you gave me a vision, you gave me something to
- 20:38Speaker 3: something that I loved doing. And yes, ma'am, I would
- 20:41Speaker 3: be a person who would love to be a part
- 20:44Speaker 3: of an event to be able to do a book to.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Him, man, awesome, awesome. So back to the questions. So,
- 20:55Speaker 2: I think the second part to that question was being
- 21:00Speaker 2: a part of the one hundred author's movement. How challenging
- 21:05Speaker 2: has that been being incarcerated and being able to interact
- 21:10Speaker 2: with the other authors and being a part of the
- 21:13Speaker 2: challenges and being able to participate. How has that been
- 21:19Speaker 2: for you? And it has it been beneficial for you
- 21:23Speaker 2: being a part of the one hundred authors movement?
- 21:27Speaker 3: Well, yes, ma'am, it has been very challenging. Math based
- 21:31Speaker 3: upon the circumstances of the fact that I'm incarcerated, but
- 21:34Speaker 3: being inculturate, I have access to a lot of information
- 21:37Speaker 3: in here, okay, information that can be utilized in order
- 21:41Speaker 3: to help me to be able to create my story,
- 21:43Speaker 3: to create writing books, short stories and stuff like this. So, ma'am,
- 21:48Speaker 3: I have been very very much you know, uh excited
- 21:52Speaker 3: about the individuals that I'm connected with, and you know,
- 21:56Speaker 3: through the Coup podcast, I have been allowed to collaborate
- 21:59Speaker 3: with other authors and podcast hosts and who are part
- 22:05Speaker 3: of the podcast or sign author's magazine, and with that
- 22:09Speaker 3: it's been a challenge for them. But I just have
- 22:11Speaker 3: to stay, stay part of the home and keep doing it.
- 22:15Speaker 3: I can't make no excuses because we won't stop. I
- 22:18Speaker 3: can't make no excuses. I don't have any. So, yes, ma'am,
- 22:21Speaker 3: it's been it's been very exciting. Man.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Well, definitely. I thank you for sharing. I thank you
- 22:30Speaker 2: for allowing your voice to speak through the form of books.
- 22:37Speaker 2: I tell you, I did never I did not think
- 22:40Speaker 2: that I would be an author. Let it Alane, the author,
- 22:44Speaker 2: co author, publisher, you name it whatever. Of over one
- 22:50Speaker 2: hundred and twenty pieces of literary I think it's one
- 22:54Speaker 2: hundred and twenty five to be that literary pieces, books, anthologies, journals, planners,
- 23:05Speaker 2: you name it, calendars, magazines. I never thought that this
- 23:10Speaker 2: would be me. So to that person, that child, that
- 23:16Speaker 2: adult that's out there that is struggling with you know,
- 23:21Speaker 2: their next move? What what are they're supposed to be doing?
- 23:25Speaker 2: They may not know what their purpose is? So what
- 23:30Speaker 2: can you share with them that would encourage them to
- 23:35Speaker 2: stay on this journey, to seek their purpose, to align
- 23:39Speaker 2: with that that they're called to, Whether it's writing books, poems,
- 23:45Speaker 2: telling short stories, being a part of collaborations, being a
- 23:49Speaker 2: part of magazines, being a part of podcast, whatever it is,
- 23:52Speaker 2: to allow them to share their story. Well, what is
- 23:55Speaker 2: something that you can encourage them from someone that has
- 23:58Speaker 2: overcome a lot and it's still overcoming the challenges and
- 24:02Speaker 2: has not allowed anything to stand in your in your way?
- 24:08Speaker 2: You you have been one of those people where there's
- 24:10Speaker 2: a will, there's a way. So what do you say
- 24:12Speaker 2: to that person today, ma'am?
- 24:16Speaker 3: I would love to say, whatever you're doing life, always
- 24:19Speaker 3: find patience because patience and the vertipation will give you
- 24:23Speaker 3: the thing that you need to see. Patience is something
- 24:26Speaker 3: that a lot of people don't have. But patience is
- 24:29Speaker 3: something that if you find it and you like you
- 24:32Speaker 3: on tools the things that you're looking for, God will
- 24:35Speaker 3: provide these facts on this whatever it is in life
- 24:37Speaker 3: that God you need, God will provide it for you.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Always stay focused on on the big pation God number one,
- 24:45Speaker 3: because like I said, He will give you everything. And
- 24:47Speaker 3: even when you don't think you're gonna he gonna give
- 24:50Speaker 3: us a That's what out there, patience. I would love
- 24:53Speaker 3: for people to stay patient with themselves and know that
- 24:57Speaker 3: they will get the thing that they need. And and
- 25:01Speaker 3: you know, uh, knowing that you know they want to
- 25:05Speaker 3: do all they have to do, stay focused, stay positive,
- 25:09Speaker 3: and stayphone and they will be able to do it.
- 25:11Speaker 3: Anything they can do, that's.
- 25:14Speaker 2: All they have to doffen Well, I definitely want to
- 25:17Speaker 2: thank you for stopping by and sharing with us on
- 25:20Speaker 2: tonight because you you you could be doing so many
- 25:26Speaker 2: other things. Your mind could be so focused on other things.
- 25:30Speaker 2: You could have you could have hatred in your heart,
- 25:33Speaker 2: you could have so much other things going on. But
- 25:36Speaker 2: you have chose to be the change that you desired
- 25:39Speaker 2: to see in this world. You have chose to be
- 25:42Speaker 2: a a beacon of light to someone that may be
- 25:45Speaker 2: going through behind those prison walls. So to that person
- 25:51Speaker 2: that may be incarcerated on today that may hear this,
- 25:55Speaker 2: because we do have individuals that are able to hear this.
- 25:59Speaker 2: To that person that's going through, I would love for
- 26:02Speaker 2: you to say something encouraging to them, to let them
- 26:06Speaker 2: know that you know they're not alone on this journey,
- 26:09Speaker 2: that you're in the same boat. But you you can
- 26:13Speaker 2: say something encouraging that can I guess give them that
- 26:19Speaker 2: that that that that the up or that the push
- 26:25Speaker 2: and we out.
- 26:27Speaker 3: H yes, m.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Yes, right, give me their dead air.
- 26:42Speaker 1: No, you can't.
- 26:42Speaker 2: We can't have no dead air on no dead air
- 26:46Speaker 2: on live air. So we gotta keep it going going.
- 26:52Speaker 2: So Latania said that your life and your story has purpose.
- 26:57Speaker 2: So I just want to that know that you have purpose,
- 27:03Speaker 2: Know that you did not get dropped out of the sky.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Just like I say every morning, today's Monday, I do
- 27:09Speaker 2: a Monday Morning motivational show and it's an hour of power.
- 27:16Speaker 2: God dropped that word power in my spirit five years ago.
- 27:20Speaker 2: He broke down those letters to me. I want you
- 27:22Speaker 2: to know and I want you to understand that it's
- 27:24Speaker 2: not like coincident that you're here hearing these things on tonight,
- 27:28Speaker 2: because he has positioned you, each and every one of
- 27:31Speaker 2: you that are tuned in, those that even will hear
- 27:34Speaker 2: the replay. He have positioned you to be an overcomer
- 27:38Speaker 2: because guess what, all those things that you've gone through,
- 27:41Speaker 2: even those that have been wrongfully and overly incarcerated, know
- 27:45Speaker 2: that there's a reason why you had to go through that.
- 27:48Speaker 2: But He's allowed you to come through it. He allowed
- 27:51Speaker 2: you to overcome it so that you would be that
- 27:55Speaker 2: willing vessel that will come out and be willing to
- 27:58Speaker 2: share with somebody else. We're sharing through books, with sharing
- 28:02Speaker 2: through poetry, we're sharing through podcasts. We are allowing that
- 28:06Speaker 2: thing that he's placed on the inside of us to
- 28:09Speaker 2: come forth as that will in vessel. And he said
- 28:13Speaker 2: that we will be able to do it through educating others,
- 28:16Speaker 2: empowering others, and encouraging others to stay on this journey
- 28:22Speaker 2: by showing our resilience, that will and the will that
- 28:25Speaker 2: would not let us quit, that would not let us
- 28:28Speaker 2: give up. So understand your power, Know what you possess,
- 28:32Speaker 2: Know that it's on the inside of you.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Power.
- 28:37Speaker 2: P O W e R puts that position overcomer willing vessel, educate,
