- 0:31Speaker 2: Bust with the Boys just released. By the way, a
- 0:34Speaker 2: huge compliment of Joe Rogan to try and cuck us

- 0:41Speaker 1: We're new.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Uh.
- 0:43Speaker 2: But that's a lot of respect, I think to Busting
- 0:45Speaker 2: with the Boys. The fact that it's known that we're
- 0:47Speaker 2: releasing an Aaron Rodgers episode. Joe, very dear friend of
- 0:50Speaker 2: mine was like, Hey, I'm gonna cuck you. You know
- 0:52Speaker 2: one day we'll I'll get you on the Joe Rogan podcast.
- 0:55Speaker 2: You know what I mean, it'll be good drama because
- 0:57Speaker 2: there's a lot of drama actually in the podcast world
- 0:59Speaker 2: right now.
- 1:00Speaker 1: You Yeah, Joe's playing a long play.
- 1:03Speaker 2: He wants to get my attention, so I'll try to
- 1:06Speaker 2: come on, you know, his Joe Rogan podcast.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Where is he Leaven Live? Now? I think he's No.
- 1:10Speaker 1: I'm not sure either.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Yeah, Ohla, that's that's what we needed though, that's what
- 1:17Speaker 2: we needed.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Oh you really don't know, Texas.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Oh but like I said, heay shout out to Chevy Silverado.
- 1:24Speaker 2: No free shoutouts to the Boys. Every team starts the
- 1:27Speaker 2: season undefeated. Everybody in the NFL is undefeated right now.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Everybody's got a shout out the Super Bowl. But there's
- 1:33Speaker 2: one team who's already won it all and that team
- 1:35Speaker 2: is Chevy. It's star player, you guessed at the Silverado.
- 1:38Speaker 2: According to JD. Power, Chevy is the most awarded brand
- 1:41Speaker 2: for new vehicle quality and Chevy Trucks has won more
- 1:44Speaker 2: new Vehicle Quality awards than any other brand in the world.
- 1:48Speaker 2: That's some serious hardware for the boys. But champions don't stop.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Chevy doesn't stop. They keep moving forward. That's what the
- 1:54Speaker 2: Boys do. From the LTAM model to the most extreme
- 1:56Speaker 2: Silverado ever this yar too. Chevy gave the Silverado a
- 2:00Speaker 2: new interior with larger infotainment screen and a digital instrument
- 2:04Speaker 2: cluster that you guys will love and the family will
- 2:07Speaker 2: have a ball with it every day on a daily basis.
- 2:10Speaker 2: They gave it towing technology for with up to fourteen
- 2:13Speaker 2: available camera views. It's always truck season here bustle with
- 2:17Speaker 2: the boys, and now it's also tailgate season.
- 2:19Speaker 1: What better way to roll up to a tailgate? It's
- 2:22Speaker 1: a nice.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Sunday morning, Saturday morning for the college football fans out there.
- 2:27Speaker 2: What better way to roll to a tailgate than in
- 2:30Speaker 2: a new Chevy Silverado boasting a larger, more functional bed
- 2:33Speaker 2: than any other competitor out there. Head over to Chevy
- 2:36Speaker 2: dot com to learn more about the Chevy Silverado. And
- 2:38Speaker 2: for those people out there that are really curious about
- 2:41Speaker 2: that information and want to double check me in fact
- 2:44Speaker 2: check me on the series hardware that Chevy's brought home,
- 2:47Speaker 2: you can go to jdpower dot com Forward Slash Awards
- 2:52Speaker 2: for that award information.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Kind Of.
- 2:57Speaker 2: I feel like I kind of bodied that at read
- 2:58Speaker 2: right there, can we get a moment of sonce for
- 3:01Speaker 2: that Ed Reid, all.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Right, boys, can we bring some fucking juice to the bus.
- 3:09Speaker 1: There's a lot of shit going on.
- 3:11Speaker 2: There's there's there's super there's lows right now, and that
- 3:15Speaker 2: low is.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Did any of you guys expect us to lose the Northwestern?
- 3:22Speaker 2: Be fucking real, JP, Did you think we were gonna
- 3:24Speaker 2: lose Northwestern?
- 3:26Speaker 4: I'll say this, I thought you guys were gonna win.
- 3:28Speaker 4: But I wouldn't be surprised because Northwestern's quarterback transferred from
- 3:32Speaker 4: South Carolina. He was against South Carolina, I had some
- 3:36Speaker 4: injuries things. Lay's talented guy, so it says a lot
- 3:40Speaker 4: about South Carolina's program.
- 3:41Speaker 1: We let that guy go must mean we have something
- 3:43Speaker 1: good cooking.
- 3:46Speaker 5: Bro.
- 3:47Speaker 2: There was there was no part of me. There was
- 3:51Speaker 2: zero part of me. I was like, we're back. It's
- 3:53Speaker 2: fucking that first drive with Casey Thompson in that offense,
- 3:57Speaker 2: just piecing up that defense. We throw a bomb fucking
- 4:01Speaker 2: Randy Mossel boy in the end zone. I was like,
- 4:04Speaker 2: we are here, Like we're going all the way. We're
- 4:08Speaker 2: fucking going eleven in one. Just like I said, I
- 4:10Speaker 2: also said, if you wanted to lose any game, you
- 4:13Speaker 2: wanted to be the first game of the season. So
- 4:16Speaker 2: not to pull an insurance policy out, but there's a
- 4:19Speaker 2: lot going on right now in the college football world.
- 4:22Speaker 2: We are the talk of the town because we were
- 4:24Speaker 2: like the only good game on on Saturday. And I
- 4:27Speaker 2: do appreciate everybody who roots for other teams and they
- 4:29Speaker 2: tune into the Nebraska Huskers just because they know. I
- 4:32Speaker 2: have a very high level of emotional investment in the Huskers,
- 4:36Speaker 2: because people hit me up like, hey, how you doing,
- 4:39Speaker 2: Like that's a tough loss. What the fuck just happened?
- 4:41Speaker 2: Like I knew you guys sucked, Like will your trash again?
- 4:46Speaker 2: But there's no part of me that I thought we
- 4:47Speaker 2: were gonna lose that game. But I am not the
- 4:48Speaker 2: type to hit the fucking panic button. We don't hit
- 4:52Speaker 2: the panic button. There's a couple things in that game
- 4:55Speaker 2: that you get corrected, you get fixed, you take some accountability.
- 4:59Speaker 2: We're like, we just got to regroup, beat the shit
- 5:02Speaker 2: out of North Dakota.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Everyone assumes that.
- 5:04Speaker 2: I think that's always the shitty part about losing an
- 5:08Speaker 2: opener like that to Northwestern. Now, hats off to Northwestern.
- 5:12Speaker 2: They seem to be a dominant force in the Big Ten.
- 5:14Speaker 2: We could be looking at the future Big Ten championship.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Maybe we'll see them again down the road. I don't
- 5:18Speaker 2: know if they're in the other division. I should probably
- 5:20Speaker 2: know that. But let's not get it twisted. We have
- 5:23Speaker 2: no clue if North Dakota is like them, you know
- 5:27Speaker 2: what I mean, And we might have just.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Played ball with the future top five team. That time
- 5:32Speaker 1: will tell.
- 5:33Speaker 2: But as far as handling us and keeping it in
- 5:36Speaker 2: house internally, you gotta watch the tape.
- 5:39Speaker 1: You gotta understand that.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Don't listen to the fucking noise, don't listen to the outside,
- 5:44Speaker 2: don't read Will's Twitter, don't fucking read all the hater
- 5:47Speaker 2: shit out there. We need to watch the tape. We
- 5:49Speaker 2: need to understand that we sucked at tackling. We had
- 5:51Speaker 2: bad eyes on defense. That's not the black shirt product.
- 5:55Speaker 2: That's gonna be consistent carryover from what we had last year.
- 5:58Speaker 2: The boys are gonna get right. I'm not worried about that.
- 6:01Speaker 2: I think the offense. I think the offense played well.
- 6:04Speaker 2: There's some drop balls out there. Now, you ask yourself
- 6:08Speaker 2: six hour jet lag, we traveled across the pond in
- 6:11Speaker 2: the foreign soil. Is there something that they're like, Yes,
- 6:15Speaker 2: they went through it too. Northwestern. Those boys went through
- 6:18Speaker 2: it too. They have boy better degrees than we do
- 6:21Speaker 2: at Nebraska. They understand the science, they understand how to
- 6:24Speaker 2: take care of themselves. I feel like a little bit
- 6:26Speaker 2: better than the boys at Nebraska. So even though they
- 6:29Speaker 2: both went with the six hour jet lag that could
- 6:32Speaker 2: have played into it, all I'm saying is I'm not
- 6:34Speaker 2: gonna hit the fucking panic button like everybody else screaming
- 6:37Speaker 2: and losing their.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Fucking mind right now, because that's what happens at Nebraska.
- 6:41Speaker 2: We're about to win a Nattie fire that motherfucker frost
- 6:44Speaker 2: before he gets on the plane within hours. You know
- 6:47Speaker 2: what I'm saying. That's Nebraska, and I'm not gonna stir
- 6:50Speaker 2: that pot. I'm not fucking doing it because I'm in
- 6:53Speaker 2: the long run with the boys. You correct a few things,
- 6:56Speaker 2: I'm not gonna blame the refs. I'm gonna say something
- 6:59Speaker 2: now it's blame the ref but I'm not gonna say
- 7:01Speaker 2: that that's what the game was on. They fucked up
- 7:03Speaker 2: that call. That fumble call. It should have never. It
- 7:05Speaker 2: shouldn't have been a fumble. We should have had that ball.
- 7:07Speaker 2: We were rolling all offense killed our momentum, and we
- 7:09Speaker 2: would have been up twenty one.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Ten going in the halftime.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Now where I will say that, what the fuck moment
- 7:15Speaker 2: of the game was that onside kick in the third
- 7:18Speaker 2: quarter with nine minutes left. There's listen, we just gained
- 7:24Speaker 2: a lot of momentum, we scored, we pick it off,
- 7:26Speaker 2: we score again. We're fucking feeling ourselves that quick after
- 7:29Speaker 2: the third quarter. We had an incredible halftime speech. I'm
- 7:31Speaker 2: sure these boys can't fucking hang with us. There's too
- 7:33Speaker 2: many white guys on the field. Let's drag them. And
- 7:36Speaker 2: we took him to the deep end. And I don't
- 7:39Speaker 2: know what the communication was. I appreciate Scott taking a
- 7:42Speaker 2: lot of bullets at the presser saying it was his call.
- 7:45Speaker 1: You can only imagine.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Imagine it's either his call or the coordinator thinks he
- 7:48Speaker 2: had a plan and he signed off on it. Yes,
- 7:51Speaker 2: if you get that onside kick, of course we're all singing,
- 7:54Speaker 2: Holly Luiah. What an incredible call. However, fuck man, we
- 7:58Speaker 2: got all the momentum, we got everything. The boys are
- 8:03Speaker 2: playing now. One game doesn't decide anything. Again, I'm here
- 8:07Speaker 2: for the positive vibes. We're pro vibes. We're just this
- 8:10Speaker 2: is the This is the overreaction Monday that we're at
- 8:12Speaker 2: right now.
- 8:13Speaker 1: This was you know, but.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Small things are correct accountability, drag out, dragged the fuck
- 8:21Speaker 2: out of North Dakota. The hard part is when you're
- 8:24Speaker 2: in college and you lose a game like that. And
- 8:25Speaker 2: I know I said that earlier, but here's the point
- 8:27Speaker 2: I was getting at. You think the world's falling on you,
- 8:29Speaker 2: and you want to hurry up and play a good
- 8:31Speaker 2: team so you can get that bad taste out of
- 8:32Speaker 2: your mouth because of who we play in North Dakota
- 8:34Speaker 2: and Georgia Southern. Are those of the two teams? Yeah, those
- 8:40Speaker 2: are the next two weeks. The next two weeks. If
- 8:44Speaker 2: you're about that fucking life in the Nebraska locker room,
- 8:49Speaker 2: which I'm sure they are, they're not gonna say stuff
- 8:51Speaker 2: like this. They're gonna say, we respect the game, we
- 8:53Speaker 2: gotta play everybody.
- 8:53Speaker 1: True. That is true.
- 8:55Speaker 2: However, we should, if we are who we think we are,
- 8:58Speaker 2: we should dog walk the shit out of North Dakota
- 9:00Speaker 2: Georgia Southern. That just is what it is until we
- 9:02Speaker 2: get the Sooners at home on my Birthday weekend. But
- 9:05Speaker 2: that's gonna be the game where it's like all right,
- 9:07Speaker 2: here's what we get back.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Right, Here's where we prove them that week zero is
- 9:10Speaker 1: a fluke.
- 9:10Speaker 2: By the way, week zero people do argue that that
- 9:12Speaker 2: game doesn't fucking count because it's not really Week one. Again,
- 9:17Speaker 2: no panic button pro vibes. We are bringing the juice
- 9:20Speaker 2: to Nebraska this weekend. If you're in Lincoln or you're
- 9:23Speaker 2: in Nebraska, the bus is gonna be in Lincoln on Friday,
- 9:27Speaker 2: or we're gonna be We're gonna be stationed right where
- 9:30Speaker 2: we were last year, right where they dropped the boys
- 9:32Speaker 2: off at the Unity Walk in that little what do
- 9:34Speaker 2: they call it, the little fucking section in campus, like
- 9:37Speaker 2: a little quad area in campus in front of the Union,
- 9:40Speaker 2: the boneyard. The bus is gonna be right there. We're
- 9:43Speaker 2: gonna betail game. We're gonna be drinking some bruise. I
- 9:45Speaker 2: don't know what the rules are there, so I don't
- 9:46Speaker 2: want to say a whole lot. We're gonna be drinking
- 9:47Speaker 2: a lot of fluid to hydrate ourselves. We're gonna have
- 9:52Speaker 2: a great time. We were bringing the fucking energy to Nebraska.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Join us, have fun with us. We're gonna be making content,
- 9:58Speaker 2: having a great time. But you can catch to Nebraska
- 10:00Speaker 2: this weekend. We'll be there, ready to go, ready, ready
- 10:03Speaker 2: to get the boys back on track. I'm excited to
- 10:05Speaker 2: dat the boys up, look him in the eye and
- 10:07Speaker 2: say hey, buddy, let's fucking go. So that's all go.
- 10:14Speaker 2: I don't know how long that was of at tangent
- 10:15Speaker 2: on Nebraska. I wanted to keep it short for you guys.
- 10:19Speaker 2: What do we have next? I'm flustered. I'm fucking.
- 10:23Speaker 1: In.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Recent news Brett Kern release and our boy Taylor, which, yeah,
- 10:28Speaker 3: if you're a if you're a Titans fan, you know
- 10:30Speaker 3: how important Brett Kerr has been to the organization. I mean,
- 10:34Speaker 3: the longest tenured player that we've had active. He was
- 10:36Speaker 3: the third longest tenured player in the Titans franchise history.
- 10:40Speaker 1: So he's been on the Titans since he came into
- 10:42Speaker 1: the league. Yeah.
- 10:43Speaker 3: No, he started with Denver and he was there for
- 10:45Speaker 3: like that because he was on the pod and go
- 10:49Speaker 3: check out that pod. He held a riveting story. But
- 10:51Speaker 3: he got cut from Denver after two seasons and then
- 10:53Speaker 3: he got picked up by the Titans and has been
- 10:55Speaker 3: with us for the last thirteen secs.
- 10:57Speaker 2: So Brett Man, that's like this is a prime example
- 11:02Speaker 2: like cut day is always tough. I've been literally in
- 11:04Speaker 2: every corner of cut day where you feel good, you
- 11:07Speaker 2: think your job's protected.
- 11:09Speaker 1: It's like, all right, let's use him now.
- 11:10Speaker 2: If finally preseasons over, thank god, let's focus on week one.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I've been where I'm I don't know what to do.
- 11:16Speaker 2: I'm trying to call reporters, text reporters, try and text,
- 11:19Speaker 2: like not exactly coaches, but maybe the assistants that would
- 11:22Speaker 2: know a little bit more like, hey, what are they
- 11:24Speaker 2: saying to where your nervouses all get out? Like you
- 11:26Speaker 2: just laid it on the line. You might have some
- 11:28Speaker 2: good you have some good tape, you have some bad tape.
- 11:30Speaker 2: You think all the coaches are in there probably talking
- 11:31Speaker 2: about your bad tape, and that's probably why you'll get cut.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Wishing damn, I wish I had those plays back watching
- 11:36Speaker 2: watching the tape yourself, like cussing yourself out, assuming the
- 11:39Speaker 2: worst and the most and cut day always sucks. But
- 11:44Speaker 2: speaking on Brett, that's tough for everybody in that building.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Obviously Brett, he doesn't want to leave. He wants to do,
- 11:53Speaker 2: you know, plain to the campag anymore. I'm sure with
- 11:54Speaker 2: the Titans, like he's been here for thirteen years, Like
- 11:57Speaker 2: you said, the most tenured Titan. Now it's the boy tailor,
- 12:00Speaker 2: which that's a big responsibility. That's he's the only guy
- 12:02Speaker 2: that's witnessed I think a losing season on the Titans
- 12:04Speaker 2: roster now correct, But it sucks from every angle man
- 12:09Speaker 2: And it's like, you know, Brett is a pro bowpunter,
- 12:12Speaker 2: He's gonna get picked up right away, but you know
- 12:15Speaker 2: what you're getting over the next year or two with him,
- 12:16Speaker 2: however he finishes out his deal. However, there's a young
- 12:19Speaker 2: kid who's got an absolute cannon for a leg that
- 12:23Speaker 2: seems it seems like he has really good potential. It
- 12:25Speaker 2: seems like the stuff he needs to work on, those
- 12:28Speaker 2: can be developed with time with patients. And so as
- 12:33Speaker 2: the GM and all the front office they sit there,
- 12:36Speaker 2: it's the hardest decision to make cutting somebody that you
- 12:39Speaker 2: love and you know is a good player, and you
- 12:42Speaker 2: have to think five to ten years down the road
- 12:44Speaker 2: versus this season, next season, and all that stuff. But
- 12:48Speaker 2: everyone in the cafeteria loves him, the equipment room, the
- 12:51Speaker 2: locker room loved him, The coaches loved him.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Fuck the bus loves him.
- 12:53Speaker 2: All the Titans Nation loves him like, that's just a
- 12:56Speaker 2: hard business decision to make, making that phone call. Hey,
- 12:59Speaker 2: can you coming and talk to me? And you sit there,
- 13:02Speaker 2: you kind of all know what it is. You give
- 13:04Speaker 2: a massive hug and it just sucks. Man, you gotta
- 13:07Speaker 2: part ways, Like I understand the decision. It just sucks,
- 13:10Speaker 2: which reminds me. And this is very well needs to happen.
- 13:13Speaker 2: But can we have a moment of silence for Brett Curran,
- 13:15Speaker 2: greatest punter ever put on a Titan uniform. Thanks, boys,
- 13:27Speaker 2: I think better respect that because he probably listens.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Taylor's not the longest in You're Titan? All right? So
- 13:36Speaker 1: what else do we have?
- 13:37Speaker 2: Nebraska trip this weekend we covered that shout out know
- 13:39Speaker 2: if you shut out that it's coming along very well.
- 13:41Speaker 1: House is Dragon updates? Are you boys caught up? Listen?
- 13:43Speaker 2: If you're a fan of House of Dragon, you haven't
- 13:45Speaker 2: watched it yet. Number one, that shows that you're not
- 13:47Speaker 2: a tier one House to Dragon. It's all good, We're
- 13:49Speaker 2: gonna talk about it, but you should catch up and
- 13:51Speaker 2: watch House to Dragon.
- 13:53Speaker 1: With all of the the.
- 14:00Speaker 2: With all the opinions on how Game of Thrones ended,
- 14:03Speaker 2: there was a lot of pressure for House of Dragon
- 14:06Speaker 2: to deliver because Game of Thrones is arguably the greatest
- 14:09Speaker 2: series to be created. Now, that's arguable. There's a lot
- 14:12Speaker 2: of good ones out there we talked about on the
- 14:13Speaker 2: last podcast, but with the generation that we're in now,
- 14:16Speaker 2: to where everybody feels like a community tuning in on Sundays,
- 14:19Speaker 2: Game of Thrones has everybody's heart, had everybody's heart, there's
- 14:22Speaker 2: a lot of mixed emotions. Housa Dragon now needs to
- 14:25Speaker 2: come in with a lot of pressure and expectation. I'm
- 14:28Speaker 2: sure all the people in their front office have seen
- 14:30Speaker 2: all the opinions and pissed off fans out there, but
- 14:33Speaker 2: you gotta deliver. With that said, House of Dragon is
- 14:36Speaker 2: fucking awesome. I think it's a hitter. There's a lot
- 14:39Speaker 2: of chess being played right now, and is it we
- 14:43Speaker 2: figure out? I always butcher names. I'm terrible with names.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Rania Rania, Yeah.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Yeah, We'll just go with that until someone corrects.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Someone corrects this.
- 14:50Speaker 2: But Rania, you see, she's got that young like Thundercat
- 14:55Speaker 2: vibe in or she's that kid who understands she's getting
- 14:58Speaker 2: disrespected in front of her parents and in front of people.
- 15:02Speaker 1: That have status over her.
- 15:04Speaker 2: She swallows her pride because she understands the game that's
- 15:07Speaker 2: being played against her right now, and she goes with
- 15:09Speaker 2: it because she knows where well, she knows where she's
- 15:12Speaker 2: gonna get her calculated shots in. And that's I think
- 15:15Speaker 2: that's a storyline I love the most. That would hit
- 15:17Speaker 2: her big time is when her best friend or was
- 15:19Speaker 2: it her cousin. I believe it's her cousin.
- 15:21Speaker 1: I want to say they're related in some way either way,
- 15:23Speaker 1: best friend too, definitely best friend.
- 15:25Speaker 2: They're choosing Viseri's toll. He's gonna grow with her, and
- 15:28Speaker 2: that was a moment that kind of took it away. However,
- 15:30Speaker 2: I think there's such a focus on that moment because
- 15:33Speaker 2: it's showing how Raniera feels threatened because now Dad can
- 15:40Speaker 2: have an air with it's a boy, if it's a
- 15:42Speaker 2: boy with her best friend, which is a threat to
- 15:45Speaker 2: her being on the throne. Because Raniera's got the juice
- 15:48Speaker 2: to be a queen like she's got it and she
- 15:50Speaker 2: knows it.
- 15:51Speaker 1: She knows if anything is.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Against her, it's it's time because her dad needs to
- 15:55Speaker 2: die for her to be the fucking queen.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Now.
- 15:59Speaker 2: I think it makes it interesting for how maybe she
- 16:02Speaker 2: offs her old man, I have no clue. Now we're
- 16:03Speaker 2: just guessing I didn't read the books.
- 16:05Speaker 1: I didn't.
- 16:06Speaker 2: I haven't done any of that going down loopholes and
- 16:08Speaker 2: shit like that.
- 16:09Speaker 1: But that's how I kind of see that going.
- 16:11Speaker 2: And it's I'm a big fan of Rainier, Like that's
- 16:14Speaker 2: the kind of one I want to see unfold. I
- 16:15Speaker 2: think Damon he's a wild card. They're known for their
- 16:18Speaker 2: incest in the family line. Maybe fucking Daimon and Ranier
- 16:24Speaker 2: get after it a little bit.
- 16:25Speaker 1: That's yeah, I fucking massive like rivalry.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Right scene between them where Ranier disobeys her father's orders
- 16:33Speaker 3: and then goes and just takes the dragon egg back.
- 16:36Speaker 1: That shit.
- 16:37Speaker 3: That was like the first moment we were like, all right,
- 16:39Speaker 3: this chick scott balls Like she's not afraid to like
- 16:42Speaker 3: step out of line, but she also keeps it like
- 16:44Speaker 3: very respectful when she's like speaking to everyone all like
- 16:47Speaker 3: the older counsel and like.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Because she's playing she knows how to play the game.
- 16:53Speaker 5: There.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Yeah, the long come bro when she's sitting in that
- 16:56Speaker 2: council room and she kind of said what she would
- 16:58Speaker 2: do by with Dragonstone going there, they kind of like
- 17:02Speaker 2: obviously belittled her and shit on her and made her
- 17:04Speaker 2: try to be superior over she took it to the chin,
- 17:08Speaker 2: and it's like, all right, we'll see how this unfolds.
- 17:10Speaker 2: I'm gonna ride my fucking dragon over there and let
- 17:12Speaker 2: them know how this goes down.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Because she she saved bloodshed.
- 17:15Speaker 2: And she told the hand who kind of like, uh, sir,
- 17:19Speaker 2: like let's be real, like, let's let the big dogs
- 17:22Speaker 2: talk at the dinner table and she can go play
- 17:23Speaker 2: in the kids room. And so she looks him in
- 17:25Speaker 2: the eyes, swallows her pride, says, I'm saving bloodshed.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Does her thing is respectable? Like you said?
- 17:30Speaker 2: Jack walks off, goes flies home. Her dad realizes like, oh,
- 17:34Speaker 2: she could be a fucking player. And I think that's
- 17:36Speaker 2: why her dad picks her best friend, because I think
- 17:38Speaker 2: he kind of knows that she's got that kind of juice.
- 17:41Speaker 3: So you think she's almost trying to like delay the
- 17:44Speaker 3: inevitable of her becoming the new era.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I think they both all kind of know, and
- 17:50Speaker 2: they're all playing the most civilized game of chess without
- 17:53Speaker 2: being emotional about it. Like she knows what game she
- 17:56Speaker 2: needs to play, and I think her dad knows, like, oh, shit,
- 17:59Speaker 2: like she's the real fucking deal. Like I wish she
- 18:03Speaker 2: was a dude because we could just make that the
- 18:04Speaker 2: air and I can live my life peacefully. But now
- 18:08Speaker 2: I feel like I gotta protect my legacy and she
- 18:11Speaker 2: might change it a little bit because she's challenging me
- 18:13Speaker 2: in front of everybody else. It's a bad look on
- 18:15Speaker 2: the old man. Now I need to figure out how
- 18:17Speaker 2: I can get my power back. I think I'm gonna
- 18:19Speaker 2: bang her best friend create an air, hoping it's a boy.
- 18:22Speaker 2: That's That's what I'm kind of guessing.
- 18:24Speaker 3: No, yeah, I mean in a perfect world, he wishes
- 18:27Speaker 3: he had a son to take the air, and he
- 18:28Speaker 3: doesn't want his brother, and he doesn't want to be
- 18:30Speaker 3: the first king to I like a woman and take
- 18:32Speaker 3: the throne. So he's got a lot of hard decisions
- 18:34Speaker 3: to face.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:35Speaker 3: Yeah, we're all polling for Ranera. I mean she's so
- 18:39Speaker 3: she's a like she's doing.
- 18:40Speaker 2: It so yeah. No, I think she's kind of the
- 18:43Speaker 2: fan favor right now. I think where it gets interesting
- 18:45Speaker 2: if her and the Damon thing plays out. But you
- 18:47Speaker 2: never know, we don't want to get ahead of ourselves.
- 18:49Speaker 2: I'm saying that House of Dragon is the real deal,
- 18:51Speaker 2: and I think they're doing a phenomenal job so far.
- 18:52Speaker 2: So everybody who's on the fence about it, you should
- 18:54Speaker 2: tune in. If you watch it and we just spoiled
- 18:56Speaker 2: some shit, then you know you gotta get up to
- 18:58Speaker 2: date because this pod is all about fucking House of Dragon.
- 19:02Speaker 3: Just know when when we update on the beginning of
- 19:04Speaker 3: the week. We're going to be covering House of Dragon
- 19:06Speaker 3: every week moving forward to get this part.
- 19:08Speaker 1: If you don't want any spoilers, yeah.
- 19:10Speaker 2: We interrupt this episode to bring you Duke Cannon. I
- 19:14Speaker 2: hope you guys are enjoying this episode. I hope you
- 19:16Speaker 2: guys are enjoying the intro. This is going to be
- 19:18Speaker 2: in the intro part right BLOSSI uh, Duke Cannon. Their
- 19:21Speaker 2: deodorant is made for the boys to run hot. You
- 19:24Speaker 2: see the boy right now, I'm pitting a little bit,
- 19:26Speaker 2: and you know why because I came straight from the
- 19:28Speaker 2: workout and didn't have a chance to put on that
- 19:30Speaker 2: dry ice deodoran. Because dry ice not only cools you
- 19:33Speaker 2: the entire day, but it also is what's the word
- 19:37Speaker 2: I'm looking for.
- 19:37Speaker 1: It's like resistant.
- 19:38Speaker 2: It doesn't let the sweat come out and pour all
- 19:40Speaker 2: over into your shirt like mine's doing under the right
- 19:42Speaker 2: pit right now.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Now, I want to put.
- 19:44Speaker 2: The deodorant aside for a second because there's a product
- 19:46Speaker 2: that I am becoming obsessed over and it is their
- 19:51Speaker 2: coal mining face wash. The scent that they have on
- 19:55Speaker 2: that soap lotion face wash is incredible. I'm washing my
- 20:00Speaker 2: face three times a day and I'm not bullshitting you.
- 20:03Speaker 1: That's no pause.
- 20:04Speaker 2: I'm using that lotion on my face or face washed
- 20:07Speaker 2: on my face three times a day because I absolutely
- 20:09Speaker 2: love the call money. That is now my favorite product
- 20:12Speaker 2: over the Sandalwood Colone. I'm still a big believer in
- 20:14Speaker 2: the Sandalwood Colone. I like, I mean, Duke Cann's got
- 20:17Speaker 2: a roster of products that I think you guys will enjoy.
- 20:21Speaker 2: They're also fucking homegrown. They're not the corporate products that
- 20:24Speaker 2: you see in all the aisles. They have like their
- 20:26Speaker 2: little section, But Duke Can is like the small the grinders, dude.
- 20:29Speaker 1: They work with the military. They're not for clowns.
- 20:32Speaker 2: They have some subliminal messaging that's actually pretty funny and humorous,
- 20:35Speaker 2: like on their product. But they're like the little guy
- 20:37Speaker 2: who's like coming up. You know what, I mean, and
- 20:39Speaker 2: they're using busting with the boys to promote their product.
- 20:41Speaker 2: But that's why you guys need to go check them
- 20:42Speaker 2: out at any target or on Duke Cannon dot com
- 20:45Speaker 2: and use code busting for fifteen percent off your first order.
- 20:48Speaker 2: That's Duke Cannon dot com. Use code busting for fifteen
- 20:50Speaker 2: percent off. Back to the episode, did you see what's
- 20:53Speaker 2: going on? You see I Am Athlete now speaking on
- 20:55Speaker 2: the Pivot?
- 20:56Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, was that where your tweet was about earlier? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 21:00Speaker 1: you want to talk.
- 21:00Speaker 3: About that because I was a little confused.
- 21:02Speaker 1: I wasn't in What time are we have with the
- 21:04Speaker 1: intro right now? Okay, yeah we can.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Then we can do our shot out no free shot out,
- 21:08Speaker 2: and then get get into this Aaron Rodgers podcast. So
- 21:11Speaker 2: the Pivot is now coming out speaking on our I
- 21:14Speaker 2: Am Athlete is now coming out speaking on the breakup
- 21:17Speaker 2: with the Pivot all the guys, and you're kind of
- 21:19Speaker 2: hearing it more from not only Brandon Marshall's perspective, but
- 21:26Speaker 2: pac Man, Uh McCoy and who's the other guy that's
- 21:30Speaker 2: on the show. I don't want to disrespect him by
- 21:34Speaker 2: not knowing his name, but they're on they're on the
- 21:35Speaker 2: pod with Joe buden because Joe Buddens went through a
- 21:37Speaker 2: couple of big breakups and they're kind of talking through
- 21:39Speaker 2: like the messiness of how personal friendship relationship gets involved
- 21:44Speaker 2: with business, and you know, because Pivot has been very
- 21:47Speaker 2: open about their breakup with I Am Athletes and Brandon
- 21:51Speaker 2: hasn't said a whole lot now on this episode with
- 21:53Speaker 2: I Am Athlete, which both great channels. They're they're both massive.
- 21:57Speaker 2: We'd love to be fucking like those boys one day,
- 21:59Speaker 2: I think we will be.
- 22:00Speaker 1: I would love to be there.
- 22:03Speaker 2: But they're kind of going back and forth and telling
- 22:05Speaker 2: their side of the story, so I think it's all like,
- 22:07Speaker 2: it's all super interesting stuff. There's things that I'm listening
- 22:09Speaker 2: to to where I understand this, the stuff that.
- 22:12Speaker 1: What do you what are you looking at? JP?
- 22:17Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Nick Young, Brandon Jennings, they feeled it. Yeah,
- 22:21Speaker 2: they're kind of I feel like they're in the middle
- 22:23Speaker 2: of continuing to like figure it out because I didn't
- 22:26Speaker 2: know Ocho Sinko left for Miam Athlete.
- 22:28Speaker 1: I didn't know that. But you're getting the perspective of.
- 22:32Speaker 2: Brandon Marshall's side now, where it's just interesting to hear,
- 22:36Speaker 2: you can see where there's lapses in communication along the way.
- 22:39Speaker 2: You can see where maybe greed gets involved a little bit.
- 22:44Speaker 2: You can understand the business piece on when they all
- 22:47Speaker 2: wanted to buy in or just be paid his talent,
- 22:50Speaker 2: and then after shows blowing up, they want to go
- 22:52Speaker 2: back and actually talk about it again. And then the
- 22:55Speaker 2: you know, the price went up because now it's blowing up.
- 22:58Speaker 2: There's just a lot of that drama and dynamic and
- 23:00Speaker 2: they get into the weeds about how that all unfolded.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Because you can.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Clearly see, like if you're somebody who follows, because I do,
- 23:07Speaker 2: I follow the Pivot and I follow I am athlete.
- 23:10Speaker 2: We've had the Pivot guys on here, big fans of
- 23:12Speaker 2: big fans of the guys on the Pivot. I've always
- 23:15Speaker 2: watched Brandon Marshall with I am Athlete from Afar. I
- 23:17Speaker 2: think he has a good show too, But I've always
- 23:19Speaker 2: been a fan like RC, you know, on CARCA. I
- 23:21Speaker 2: played with him for a year in Washington, and then
- 23:23Speaker 2: having Fred and Channing on the bus, like we obviously
- 23:26Speaker 2: know their side and we love the shit that they do,
- 23:29Speaker 2: but you just get that you get a different perspective
- 23:31Speaker 2: because if you've been a listener on both shows, you
- 23:34Speaker 2: very much see that they're in the middle, that they compete,
- 23:37Speaker 2: Like you see it on their Instagram stories when they're like,
- 23:40Speaker 2: you know, I am athlete, might say more than just
- 23:42Speaker 2: a show, and then you might see the pivot do
- 23:46Speaker 2: they're posting like you know, everybody has a podcast, but
- 23:49Speaker 2: not everybody can pivot. Like they're all like they're competing
- 23:52Speaker 2: whether or not they play the whole.
- 23:53Speaker 1: We want everybody to.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Win, Like I want to say, RC tweeted like, you know,
- 23:57Speaker 2: no worries and no hard feelings. I'd want to talk
- 23:59Speaker 2: about us to lions, don't concern themselves with opinions of sheep,
- 24:03Speaker 2: and it's kind of like, okay, no hard feelings, no
- 24:05Speaker 2: worries your sheep. So like you see the dynamic like
- 24:10Speaker 2: they are. I feel like if you're anybody watching from Afar,
- 24:13Speaker 2: they're very much in direct competition because there are times
- 24:16Speaker 2: right here the pivots say stuff.
- 24:17Speaker 1: I'm like, are they talking to me? Specifically? Busting with
- 24:20Speaker 1: the boys.
- 24:22Speaker 2: But if you're not caught up on any of their stuff,
- 24:24Speaker 2: we had the Pivot guys on, you can well listen
- 24:26Speaker 2: to that podcast where they talk about the breakup with
- 24:28Speaker 2: I Am Athlete and now it's kind of fresh after
- 24:30Speaker 2: the breakup too, And then I Am Athlete just came
- 24:33Speaker 2: out with their episode with Joe butten where they get
- 24:35Speaker 2: into the details and weeds a lot of like the
- 24:37Speaker 2: whole business balancing personal professional trying to navigate all that,
- 24:41Speaker 2: which is all good shit to learn, like Taylor and
- 24:43Speaker 2: I are in the business together. And I tweeted what
- 24:46Speaker 2: Jack's referencing is? I tweeted, is Busting with the Boys
- 24:49Speaker 2: the only multi athlete show that has no like past drama?
- 24:54Speaker 2: But anyway, you know we're gonna live on the internet
- 24:57Speaker 2: have fun with it. Should get should we get in?
- 24:59Speaker 1: Everybody?
- 25:00Speaker 2: So the Aaron Rodgers podcast the reason we have a
- 25:02Speaker 2: longer intro right now. We were time caffed on this
- 25:05Speaker 2: Aaron Rodgers podcast again. We went to Green Bay. We
- 25:08Speaker 2: did how many conversations that day? Four four conversations Lafleur
- 25:14Speaker 2: and Aaron Rodgers were one and two and we had
- 25:16Speaker 2: to get those in before a team meeting. So my
- 25:19Speaker 2: nerves were pretty high because I like to be prepared
- 25:22Speaker 2: for all the episodes, and we were told that we
- 25:25Speaker 2: only had like twenty minutes with Aaron Rodgers and the
- 25:29Speaker 2: time slot. We had Lafleur on at nine in the morning.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Lafleur shows up a little late accountability. We run over
- 25:37Speaker 2: with Lafleur past ten o'clock when Aaron was supposed to
- 25:40Speaker 2: come on. We were gonna have Aaron from ten am
- 25:42Speaker 2: to ten twenty because they had a meeting at eleven.
- 25:44Speaker 2: So when we're wrapping up with the Pasasha and Lafleur,
- 25:47Speaker 2: I'm already like got anxiety. I've had nothing but caffeine,
- 25:50Speaker 2: didn't eat, was fasting because of my fat ass eight
- 25:52Speaker 2: too much of the night before, So I'm all which
- 25:55Speaker 2: way sideways and trying to figure out if Aaron and
- 25:58Speaker 2: Tanyan are showing up. Aaron comes on to like ten fifteen,
- 26:02Speaker 2: ten twenty, and my man, the media guy in the back,
- 26:05Speaker 2: we we.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Stretched Aaron out as long as possible.
- 26:07Speaker 2: We actually had him on for like thirty thirty eight minutes,
- 26:10Speaker 2: I think, and the dudes in the back wave in
- 26:12Speaker 2: his arm like you know, cut in where you know
- 26:14Speaker 2: the boys are in the back kind of trying not
- 26:15Speaker 2: to look or see him because we're in the middle
- 26:17Speaker 2: of some conversation with the goat with Aaron Rodgers and
- 26:21Speaker 2: so I personally, it's one of those things where I
- 26:24Speaker 2: checked the tape. There's questions I wish I would have
- 26:26Speaker 2: thrown in there and would have been thinking about. But
- 26:28Speaker 2: all in all, like it's a good episode. You get
- 26:30Speaker 2: a you know, he talks a lot. I asked the
- 26:32Speaker 2: most important question of all time, you know, as you
- 26:34Speaker 2: guys will hear it, the very first question.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Then we get into Lafleur in Masascia.
- 26:38Speaker 2: Lafleur alludes to a play in Detroit that Aaron Rodgers
- 26:42Speaker 2: had where he got MFT. He basically got sunned for
- 26:44Speaker 2: the first time by Aaron Rodgers and realized like, oh,
- 26:47Speaker 2: this dude has awareness of the most elite level I've
- 26:50Speaker 2: ever seen. And Aaron kind of talks really good about
- 26:53Speaker 2: the dynamic of his relationship with Lafleur where they had
- 26:55Speaker 2: to kind of grow and meet id on a couple
- 26:56Speaker 2: of things. And then we ask a fun like start
- 26:59Speaker 2: bench cut a fun question at the end of the pot.
- 27:01Speaker 2: But all in all, it was a good episode. I
- 27:03Speaker 2: just wish fucking Joe Rogan cucking me and he does
- 27:05Speaker 2: a three hour drop of Aaron Rodgers and we got
- 27:07Speaker 2: our fucking thirty minute bottle of Aaron Rodgers. But uh, but.
- 27:12Speaker 1: You guys are gonna enjoy it.
- 27:13Speaker 2: If you're watching right now, take a couple of seconds,
- 27:16Speaker 2: just subscribe to the YouTube. If you're listening to the

- 27:25Speaker 2: creative for you guys. And you guys are actually doing well,
- 27:27Speaker 2: I think in the last number check as far as
- 27:29Speaker 2: like person and this stuff.
- 27:30Speaker 1: The Lightning t is here to fucking stay.
- 27:33Speaker 2: The Boys, the mascot, and the goddamn Lightning going down.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Go purchase our stuff store dot barstool sports dot com
- 27:40Speaker 2: Forward slash Busting with the Boys. You'll see it at
- 27:42Speaker 2: the top. We dropped our entire football line. You guys
- 27:44Speaker 2: are gonna love it. Get geared up for the season.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Now we're gonna get into our shout out free shout
- 27:49Speaker 2: out segment of the week, and then we're gonna roll
- 27:51Speaker 2: right into the Aaron Rodgers episode bloss kick this thing off, brother, like,
- 27:55Speaker 2: let's have some good vibes.
- 27:58Speaker 1: All right.
- 27:59Speaker 6: My shout out this week wasn't something that I actually
- 28:01Speaker 6: experienced personally, but it was the text messages that I
- 28:05Speaker 6: got late last Was it Saturday? Is that the day
- 28:09Speaker 6: that you were at the wedding? It's a text that
- 28:11Speaker 6: I got late Saturday. I was just going about my
- 28:14Speaker 6: night and I receive a text message from somebody I
- 28:16Speaker 6: haven't heard in a little while. It was my buddy Damien,
- 28:20Speaker 6: and he sends me a selfie with him and JP
- 28:25Speaker 6: at the same wedding. And I was thinking to myself,
- 28:28Speaker 6: I wonder how this wedding went for JP. Because anytime
- 28:31Speaker 6: you're invited somewhere that you don't really know anybody, you
- 28:34Speaker 6: don't know who's going to be there. Hell, you you
- 28:36Speaker 6: really just don't even want to be there, and you
- 28:38Speaker 6: meet somebody that you have a common interest with and
- 28:42Speaker 6: that common interest either carries the night or you just
- 28:45Speaker 6: build upon. That was the only thing that I was
- 28:48Speaker 6: going through. My mind was like, man, that's awesome. So
- 28:51Speaker 6: my shout out, no free shout out, goes to, you know,
- 28:54Speaker 6: having a common interest with somebody at an unexpected event
- 28:57Speaker 6: or an event that you don't even want to be at.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Oh that's a good one. That's a good one. Yeah,
- 29:08Speaker 1: Jackie boy.
- 29:09Speaker 3: Yeah, Mine's gonna be short and sweet and right off
- 29:12Speaker 3: the bat. You might think it's something that is not
- 29:15Speaker 3: that like worthy of a shout out, but my shout out. Know,
- 29:18Speaker 3: if your shout out goes to waking up with a
- 29:21Speaker 3: fully charged phone, and I get it, we all should
- 29:24Speaker 3: be waking up with a fully charged phone.
- 29:26Speaker 1: It's twenty twenty two. We have an outlet.
- 29:28Speaker 3: But the way I'm gonna like spin this is when
- 29:31Speaker 3: you wake up without a fully charged phone. That is
- 29:34Speaker 3: when you're like, motherfucker, like kind of like your day's
- 29:38Speaker 3: a little bit dependent, like the first hour or so.
- 29:40Speaker 3: It's like if you gotta like run to the gym
- 29:42Speaker 3: or like you got to like an early meeting, it's
- 29:44Speaker 3: like you gotta scramble to get your phone charged up.
- 29:46Speaker 3: So it's like it almost is like the next day,
- 29:48Speaker 3: when you wake up in your phone, you like remember
- 29:50Speaker 3: to plug it in and you get it, and you
- 29:52Speaker 3: wake up you're.
- 29:52Speaker 1: One hundred percent. You're like, all right, we're back to normal,
- 29:55Speaker 1: like something.
- 29:55Speaker 3: You maybe take for granted. But when you're in a
- 29:57Speaker 3: pinch and you got like four percent battery laughing, you
- 30:00Speaker 3: wake up, it fucking sucks. So it's the little thing
- 30:04Speaker 3: shout out to having a fully charged phone. I woke
- 30:06Speaker 3: up this morning with one prease start to the Monday.
- 30:09Speaker 2: I I see where you're going with that one. Like
- 30:13Speaker 2: I understand you did a great job for those degenerates
- 30:16Speaker 2: that don't plug their phone in every night, but I
- 30:18Speaker 2: think you're just showing how irresponsible you can be at times.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Maybe because if anything, like I get mad when I
- 30:24Speaker 2: don't want my phone is in charge, I'm like, you
- 30:26Speaker 2: dumb motherfucker.
- 30:27Speaker 1: But I think, like it's just that should be second nature.
- 30:32Speaker 1: It is.
- 30:33Speaker 3: I feel like that's what I explain too, Like right
- 30:35Speaker 3: out the gate, I know something that shouldn't deserve a
- 30:38Speaker 3: shout out, but it's when you don't have it, it
- 30:40Speaker 3: makes you realize how important it is to have a
- 30:42Speaker 3: fully charged phone. But you're right, if you don't have
- 30:45Speaker 3: a fully charged phone at least ninety eight percent of
- 30:48Speaker 3: every morning, you are a fucking degenerate. So we've all
- 30:53Speaker 3: been there once or twice, but you know, one hundred
- 30:56Speaker 3: percent action. I'm charging up right now. But you know,
- 30:59Speaker 3: it's been a big day on Twitter.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Say short and sweet had grabbed that microphone twice. Let
- 31:06Speaker 2: me get that thing about hanging on I gotta say
- 31:07Speaker 2: a little bit more. Yeah, yeah, JP sir a big dog.
- 31:13Speaker 4: We were talking about this the other day and I
- 31:15Speaker 4: was speaking negative. I was looking at the negative side
- 31:18Speaker 4: of it. And so my shout out, no free shoutout
- 31:22Speaker 4: goes to those cashiers and the equipment that when you
- 31:27Speaker 4: after you pay for something, you don't have to fill
- 31:31Speaker 4: out the tip thing when you just ask for something
- 31:33Speaker 4: basic and they're like, oh, you know, here's your cup
- 31:36Speaker 4: of water, and they flip that screen around and it
- 31:38Speaker 4: says like fifteen twenty five thirty and everybody staring at you.
- 31:43Speaker 1: She's staring at you like I'm not about to tip
- 31:44Speaker 1: you for some water.
- 31:46Speaker 4: So then that every now and then you get some
- 31:48Speaker 4: people that like they don't even ask, they don't do it,
- 31:51Speaker 4: and it's like, thank you because I'm not about to
- 31:54Speaker 4: tip you for this water.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 31:58Speaker 2: You get ready for that bat bee. That's definitely gonna
- 31:59Speaker 2: be on the I think we all need to. I
- 32:01Speaker 2: think that's something that such an epidemic like that needs
- 32:05Speaker 2: to be a shout out every week, Like somebody different
- 32:07Speaker 2: needs to talk about why they hate that. Right those
- 32:09Speaker 2: motherfuckers like trying to get some of them just start
- 32:12Speaker 2: at twenty two twenty four.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Fuck man, what we're doing. All you do is grab
- 32:18Speaker 1: me a.
- 32:18Speaker 4: Donut, and you feel all the eyes in the store
- 32:22Speaker 4: on you.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Yeah, that big ass scream flipped around talking about Hey,
- 32:26Speaker 2: you're trying to.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Cover your work like you're in school, right, Yeah, like shit,
- 32:30Speaker 1: let me just hit custom. Yeah that custom up. But
- 32:37Speaker 1: it's not even that you don't want to tip.
- 32:39Speaker 2: It's just like you said, it's the bullshit, right, they're
- 32:41Speaker 2: trying to get you on, like, yo, you legit just
- 32:43Speaker 2: gave me a cup of water, like you legit, Just
- 32:46Speaker 2: fucking like I just said, you grabbed the donut like
- 32:48Speaker 2: out of the fucking thing.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Yeah, fuck dumn it. That's a good one.
- 32:55Speaker 2: That's a good what's the shout out when you don't
- 32:57Speaker 2: have to do that?
- 32:59Speaker 4: Yeah, shout out to the cashiers and the shout out
- 33:01Speaker 4: to the cashiers that don't make you tip for a basic.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Task and have the awareness to know, like I'm not
- 33:06Speaker 2: gonna fucking mess up this person's stay by flipping the
- 33:08Speaker 2: screen round exactly.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what you should do. You need a number. One.
- 33:15Speaker 2: You guys all need to be putting your shot outs
- 33:16Speaker 2: on social media. Two you should do that shout out
- 33:21Speaker 2: and just ride a long shout out and then do
- 33:23Speaker 2: like a fucking long Yeah yeah.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Garrett, what do you got, bro?
- 33:31Speaker 7: My shout out this week is gonna go to all
- 33:34Speaker 7: the fans buying the new merch.
- 33:36Speaker 1: It's football season. Everybody's gearing up.
- 33:40Speaker 7: Right now, the Titans fans are in the lead, followed
- 33:45Speaker 7: by the Raiders.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Hang on, hang on, hang on. The Titans fans in
- 33:49Speaker 1: the lead without.
- 33:51Speaker 7: This is okay, without the order, Okay, you're gonna give
- 33:55Speaker 7: our Like I'm just saying we're.
- 33:56Speaker 2: Gonna be selling merch at that. I just want this
- 33:57Speaker 2: to be a true competition.
- 33:59Speaker 1: That that's that is fair because it's close. All I
- 34:01Speaker 1: say is this close.
- 34:02Speaker 7: It's close, But without ours, we still have the lead,
- 34:05Speaker 7: because the Titans have the lead by like, I'm not
- 34:09Speaker 7: gonna do that math.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, don't do the math. Like, don't hear the number.
- 34:12Speaker 7: One number bigger than the other, okay, because it's we're
- 34:17Speaker 7: looking at the same numbers between Tennessee and the Raiders,
- 34:21Speaker 7: right and also from this past Friday. So I did
- 34:26Speaker 7: just ask for an updated number. But right now it
- 34:31Speaker 7: goes Titans, Raiders, the Nebraska corn shirt, Green Bay, then
- 34:39Speaker 7: the Nebraska skull shirt, which I was kind of shocked
- 34:41Speaker 7: at that one didn't like shoot through.
- 34:44Speaker 1: The roof, but like Nebraska combined.
- 34:46Speaker 7: Now, no, for sure they needed those points on Saturday.
- 34:49Speaker 7: But that's all good. But then we got Michigan bringing
- 34:53Speaker 7: up the rear.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Michigan. Really, I mean, miss we know, we knew, we
- 34:56Speaker 1: expected that. Michigan fans.
- 34:57Speaker 2: I love that you're tuning into the pot, and I
- 34:58Speaker 2: love that you love the pot, but just I know
- 35:00Speaker 2: you guys aren't big enough to compete.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Yeah, the big dogs like, stay on the porch exactly,
- 35:04Speaker 1: keep buying what you're gonna piss like a puppy. Then
- 35:07Speaker 1: stay on the porch with the big dogsy there you go.
- 35:10Speaker 7: But yeah, shout out to all the fans buying the merch.
- 35:11Speaker 7: Appreciate you guys. As you heard Dave saying the clip,
- 35:15Speaker 7: we gotta sell merch. Yeah, we gotta merch, keep this
- 35:18Speaker 7: thing going. Appreciate y'all. Yeah, Garrett, that's a good shout out.
- 35:23Speaker 2: He's our merch guy, so he's always fucking He's always
- 35:25Speaker 2: shouting at you guys.
- 35:26Speaker 1: You gotta appreciate it.
- 35:27Speaker 2: You wish he gets more detailed at times, but I
- 35:30Speaker 2: understand he's excited about the merch.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Because he's the merch guy.
- 35:35Speaker 2: All right, my shout out shout out of the week.
- 35:38Speaker 2: I've been thinking about this because there's a couple on
- 35:40Speaker 2: my lists. I'm like, all right, which one do I
- 35:41Speaker 2: want to go with today? Because I feel like I've
- 35:43Speaker 2: been on quite the run?
- 35:46Speaker 1: What is that? Am I not speaking facts right now?
- 35:52Speaker 1: Am I not speaking facts?
- 35:52Speaker 8: Right?
- 35:53Speaker 3: You know?
- 35:53Speaker 1: I've been in the roll of the shoutouts.
- 35:56Speaker 2: Umm, I'm gonna do this because it happened to me
- 35:59Speaker 2: today leaving my workout.
- 36:00Speaker 1: You're ten.
- 36:02Speaker 2: My shout out, no free shoutout goes to those people
- 36:05Speaker 2: who understand that no matter what, you're turning left at
- 36:13Speaker 2: the stoplight, that middle lane to where you're turning left
- 36:17Speaker 2: and there's oncoming traffic and some people which will live
- 36:22Speaker 2: on will be another topic for another day. I went
- 36:25Speaker 2: off about this maybe with Shane Gillis with that episode,
- 36:29Speaker 2: but I don't want to give them any burn. But
- 36:34Speaker 2: where they don't go across that, they stay in that lane,
- 36:37Speaker 2: they stay behind the line, and then when the light
- 36:40Speaker 2: turns yellow and then ultimately red, they don't turn left
- 36:44Speaker 2: even though they're blinkers on. My shout out goes to
- 36:47Speaker 2: those people who understand the game. Understand the importance and
- 36:52Speaker 2: urgency of putting yourself out there a little bit in
- 36:54Speaker 2: the middle.
- 36:55Speaker 1: You don't go straight out in the middle.
- 36:56Speaker 2: There is oncoming traffic and you have no clue what
- 36:58Speaker 2: people's coming from right and from the left, but you
- 37:01Speaker 2: need to get your ass over that line to let
- 37:03Speaker 2: the person behind you know, Hey, I'm about to get this.
- 37:06Speaker 2: If there's enough time and you can get it too,
- 37:08Speaker 2: you can come get in this party with me. But
- 37:11Speaker 2: did those people go out there and whether it's a
- 37:13Speaker 2: yellow light and you feel like somebody in the ongoing
- 37:15Speaker 2: traffic speeding up to beat their green light, that's fine,
- 37:18Speaker 2: to beat their yellow light, you still wait from them
- 37:20Speaker 2: to go That motherfucker can turn red. And even when
- 37:23Speaker 2: it turns red and those people continue to turn left,
- 37:25Speaker 2: my shoutout goes to you guys, and you're probably driving
- 37:27Speaker 2: a Chevy Soeverado because we know no other way than teamwork.
- 37:32Speaker 2: And then to me, that's where the shadout comes in.
- 37:34Speaker 2: So that's my shout out, no for shadow. Now we're
- 37:37Speaker 2: gonna get into this Aaron Rodgers podcast. I appreciate you
- 37:40Speaker 2: guys hanging out with us for forty six fucking minute.
- 37:44Speaker 2: Jess I apologize for making this such a long intro.
- 37:47Speaker 2: There's a lot to unpack. I think a lot of
- 37:48Speaker 2: good shit that you guys might like. If you do
- 37:51Speaker 2: like our longer intros where we kind of do the
- 37:52Speaker 2: housekeeping and cleaning and shit like that, maybe drop a
- 37:55Speaker 2: comment and say, hey, boys, we don't mind this. We're
- 37:58Speaker 2: here for the vibes. All you guys dropping comments last
- 38:01Speaker 2: week pro vibes, We're here for the vibes. If you're
- 38:03Speaker 2: here for the intro vibes, say I love the intro vibes,
- 38:06Speaker 2: say right now in the comments, Willie love the intro vibes,
- 38:09Speaker 2: big dog?
- 38:09Speaker 1: Keep it up.
- 38:10Speaker 2: That's the Actually, that's the exact comment I would love
- 38:12Speaker 2: to read. But now we're gonna get into the uh,
- 38:16Speaker 2: we're gonna get into Yeah, you're so fucking awesome, bro,
- 38:19Speaker 2: keep this intro shit coming. But here, without further ado,
- 38:21Speaker 2: here's Aaron Rodgers episode better than Rogan's, better than part
- 38:25Speaker 2: of my takes. Both of them were really good. However
- 38:27Speaker 2: are Little twenty eight. However many minutes we got with
- 38:30Speaker 2: Aaron Rodgers, you guys will enjoy. Here's an ad reed
- 38:32Speaker 2: probably first, maybe maybe not, and then Aaron Rogers and
- 38:38Speaker 2: just like you guess that we're doing an ad Reid
- 38:40Speaker 2: right before this Aaron Rodgers episode, shout out to Georgia
- 38:43Speaker 2: Butt no Free shout outs the best looking boots on
- 38:44Speaker 2: the planet.
- 38:45Speaker 1: Not only the best looking, but also the most comfortable.
- 38:47Speaker 2: Every time I'm walking around in these boys, everybody in
- 38:50Speaker 2: the yards looking at me.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Playoff, Willy, would you get those boots? And I let
- 38:53Speaker 1: him know, Georgia boot. Every time I let them know
- 38:54Speaker 1: Georgia boo.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Because we're gonna have a code bust in BUSSI n
- 38:58Speaker 2: at the end of this read that's gonna give you
- 39:00Speaker 2: twenty percent off.
- 39:00Speaker 1: I actually just said the code. I actually said the
- 39:02Speaker 1: entire thing.
- 39:03Speaker 2: But think about the comfort technology of an athletic of
- 39:06Speaker 2: an athletic shoe packed into a great looking boot. Whether
- 39:09Speaker 2: you're on your feet all day, growing out with the boys,
- 39:11Speaker 2: chilling on the couch, depending what kind of parents you
- 39:13Speaker 2: have or how you run your own household, but you
- 39:15Speaker 2: can chill with these things anywhere. They don't sacrifice comfort
- 39:18Speaker 2: or style. Go to georgiaboot dot com use code busting
- 39:21Speaker 2: for a generous twenty percent off. That's georgiaboot dot com
- 39:24Speaker 2: Code Busting twenty percent off. Now finally, the Aaron Rodgers
- 39:28Speaker 2: episode arguably the greatest quarterback of all time, and we
- 39:32Speaker 2: got him. We got him on a handheld mic. This
- 39:34Speaker 2: is apparently like there's like a buzzing noise that is
- 39:36Speaker 2: apparently going on with that.
- 39:38Speaker 1: This is work rank, We're grinding.
- 39:40Speaker 2: Oh prank, we're grinding. No, this is the grittiest podcast
- 39:45Speaker 2: you will be on.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Is it great week?
- 39:49Speaker 2: No, it's lunch pail Week. We call ours lunch Pail week.
- 39:52Speaker 2: EMT boys do the Grid week. We steal everything that
- 39:55Speaker 2: they do and make it our own.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Don't still that shit? Did you go on it? I did?
- 40:00Speaker 1: How would you think had a good time? Yeah? A
- 40:03Speaker 1: good time?
- 40:04Speaker 2: Big Yad's big on you being in prison, you being
- 40:06Speaker 2: in jail, not liking you. How's that relationship between you guys?
- 40:10Speaker 1: Been great? Yeah? Really good? Uh? Big?
- 40:14Speaker 8: Thanks to Caleb Presley. He kind of put everything in motion.
- 40:19Speaker 2: So I was working out with Caleb Presley two days ago.
- 40:21Speaker 2: I just wanted an account of Billy Buddy. I was like, Bro,
- 40:23Speaker 2: I'm all for it. I'm all for the accounta Bill
- 40:25Speaker 2: Buddy train, Like I'm chilling, You're chilling, Like, let's do
- 40:27Speaker 2: this thing. And he this is his quote, Aaron Rodgers
- 40:31Speaker 2: is the coolest dude I've ever been around.
- 40:37Speaker 5: Kat, How do you feel about that he's up there?
- 40:41Speaker 5: Aaron's pretty cool. He's gotten cooler over the years. Thanks Bob.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Did you guys hang in u Tahoe? Yeah?
- 40:48Speaker 8: I had him over to the house I was renting,
- 40:50Speaker 8: and we did the episode Sunday Conversation, which is coming
- 40:54Speaker 8: out a couple of weeks, maybe three or four weeks. Yeah,
- 41:00Speaker 8: it's outrageous, absolutely outrageous. Stuck around him and Glenn Glenny Balls,
- 41:09Speaker 8: h Glenny Balls, Baby.
- 41:12Speaker 1: I mean that dude is amazing specimen. Yeah. Yeah, he
- 41:17Speaker 1: just sits there and eats ice cream.
- 41:19Speaker 2: He's talking about he's hanging out with like the Hooters
- 41:21Speaker 2: women and they're like feeding him grapes and stuff like that.
- 41:23Speaker 1: Lenny Balls.
- 41:24Speaker 5: Now he is his own where he does He have
- 41:26Speaker 5: his own podcast with all where he sits.
- 41:28Speaker 2: It's called only Yeah and it's good where he sits
- 41:31Speaker 2: with porn stars and talks to him I guess.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Yeah. He talks to chicks with the only fans that
- 41:36Speaker 1: counts big ones.
- 41:37Speaker 2: Oh yeah, and he talks about like I guess, like
- 41:39Speaker 2: he talks about sex and Orgies and everything else.
- 41:42Speaker 1: Good for him, good for making it.
- 41:43Speaker 2: Yeah, but welcome to Bust with the Boys, bro, this
- 41:47Speaker 2: is huge for us. I hit him my man, Rob,
- 41:49Speaker 2: I was like, well on the last pot that just
- 41:51Speaker 2: came out this week, there I but I can listen to.
- 41:53Speaker 2: I was like, you think if we got the bust
- 41:55Speaker 2: of Green Bay, like you think the boy twelve would
- 41:56Speaker 2: get on the bus.
- 41:57Speaker 1: And he was like, I think, so made it happen.
- 42:01Speaker 2: I really appreciate all this because this is this is
- 42:04Speaker 2: a big move for Bust with the Boys.
- 42:08Speaker 1: We did it. We did it, guys, We got we
- 42:10Speaker 1: got them on my first question. Thank you.
- 42:13Speaker 2: I apologize for continuing to interrupt. I've had a lot
- 42:15Speaker 2: of coffee. I'm a little nervous too.
- 42:19Speaker 1: Kind of you played most of the time.
- 42:22Speaker 5: Yeah, that boy was shaken in as the biggest rival
- 42:27Speaker 5: read the sport has ever seen.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Will Compton Aaron Rodgers.
- 42:29Speaker 8: I supposed the other day too. By the way, a
- 42:31Speaker 8: really good post.
- 42:31Speaker 1: The one about I was wondering if you saw that.
- 42:35Speaker 1: I appreciate that.
- 42:36Speaker 2: If you ever want to hit that user name and
- 42:38Speaker 2: hit the follow button, that's up to you. You don't
- 42:40Speaker 2: have to see what you're going you don't have to
- 42:41Speaker 2: say what you're gonna do on here, because I don't
- 42:42Speaker 2: want my feelings hurt very early.
- 42:44Speaker 1: But I appreciate that.
- 42:45Speaker 2: Man.
- 42:46Speaker 1: My first question, Twitter is the new MySpace? Why do
- 42:50Speaker 1: you say that?
- 42:52Speaker 8: I just thought about that the other day and I
- 42:54Speaker 8: was like, I like that line. That's a good line.
- 42:56Speaker 8: They had a chance to, you know, to be on top.
- 43:00Speaker 8: And now I feel like Instagram came up and then
- 43:06Speaker 8: all these kids are on TikTok.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Now.
- 43:08Speaker 2: See, I think Twitter is still hasn't scratched the surface,
- 43:13Speaker 2: but that ship.
- 43:14Speaker 5: Shouldn't even be free to some of the ship the
- 43:16Speaker 5: threads that go into Twitter, Like if you go dive
- 43:19Speaker 5: deep into Twitter.
- 43:19Speaker 1: It's the funniest app. You disagree, No, I think Twitter
- 43:25Speaker 1: is the funniest app deep.
- 43:28Speaker 5: Yeah, but see again, we're like working on Aaron's humor too.
- 43:31Speaker 5: He's got funnier. We're just getting funny.
- 43:34Speaker 2: Oh, we're trying to get him funnier. Why do you
- 43:35Speaker 2: don't think? Do you don't think?
- 43:38Speaker 1: Do you don't think Twitter is the funniest ap out there? No?
- 43:41Speaker 5: I don't What do you think is more funny? I
- 43:44Speaker 5: think Instagram is funnier, like the memes but that's where
- 43:48Speaker 5: they get their memes from Harmony.
- 43:52Speaker 2: But bro, you wouldn't have never saw my clip and
- 43:54Speaker 2: my caption had it not been on Twitter, and only
- 43:56Speaker 2: something like that plays on Twitter, Like you're not gonna
- 43:58Speaker 2: scroll and see my Instagram post. It can be like yeah,
- 44:01Speaker 2: like look at a little bit, like look what will post.
- 44:04Speaker 1: It on Instagram?
- 44:05Speaker 2: Like you see Twitter go off, you kind of hit
- 44:07Speaker 2: it because you want to see some of the comments
- 44:09Speaker 2: and the funnies that follow it.
- 44:10Speaker 8: But it's it's turning into the MySpace though it is okay,
- 44:14Speaker 8: we can agree to disagree.
- 44:15Speaker 1: What's fair.
- 44:16Speaker 8: You still think Facebook is still rocking it?
- 44:18Speaker 4: No?
- 44:19Speaker 1: I think Facebook is awful.
- 44:21Speaker 5: It's for fifty year old six year old women who's
- 44:23Speaker 5: still checking on like twenty thirty year old.
- 44:25Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, like people who comment, you know a
- 44:29Speaker 1: lot of those type of confident pah.
- 44:32Speaker 2: Comment a lot on like errands like whether it's game
- 44:35Speaker 2: stuff off the field, Like those are people who live
- 44:37Speaker 2: on Facebook?
- 44:38Speaker 1: Really? I think so? Yeah, more of like the white
- 44:41Speaker 1: collar like the older people, the older.
- 44:42Speaker 5: Jen Midwest, yeah, Midwest lukes collar, gritty folks, whatever are
- 44:47Speaker 5: they on.
- 44:48Speaker 1: They're all busting with the boys right here. That's what
- 44:50Speaker 1: there is this.
- 44:51Speaker 2: Yeah, my first question, man, a little warm is uh,
- 44:54Speaker 2: it is a little warm, it's little toasty?
- 44:57Speaker 1: Is I watching the Key to Success?
- 45:01Speaker 8: Good question? Man, Are you asking a serious quest? Do
- 45:03Speaker 8: you want a serious response?
- 45:04Speaker 1: It's like I like that fun.
- 45:07Speaker 2: Like I'm sitting here because I listen to your podcast
- 45:09Speaker 2: with Aubert Marcus by the way. I thought it was
- 45:11Speaker 2: phenomenal taking a deep dive into you. You're very like
- 45:14Speaker 2: open and transparent, like the whole controlling the narrative thing
- 45:17Speaker 2: like juices me up because that's why I love doing
- 45:20Speaker 2: this shit, because people talk freely and kind of it's the.
- 45:22Speaker 1: People behind the helmet, and you get to know them more.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Had you not really all you see them as is
- 45:27Speaker 2: what articles are written on them out there and everybody
- 45:29Speaker 2: else commenting, We don't say enough because we want to
- 45:32Speaker 2: keep our helmet on and appease everybody inside the building
- 45:35Speaker 2: because it's not about us. But I really appreciated that episode.
- 45:40Speaker 2: I asked that in fun, the serious part. You can
- 45:43Speaker 2: go listen to that episode because you obviously talk openly
- 45:46Speaker 2: about your trips, your fucking all, your little rides that
- 45:50Speaker 2: seem very interesting. You're you're getting emotional. I'm getting emotional
- 45:54Speaker 2: listening to it, and I'm wondering, if I get on
- 45:56Speaker 2: this ride, am I gonna have your ten? Am I
- 45:59Speaker 2: gonna put together? They're back to back MVP seasons because
- 46:02Speaker 2: that's what the narrative is getting painted as. Now that
- 46:04Speaker 2: ahuasca is the reason you've won back to back.
- 46:08Speaker 8: MVPs, they're going to run with whatever narrative they want.
- 46:12Speaker 8: I think there's a lot to unpack in that question
- 46:17Speaker 8: based on some of the things that I have seen
- 46:18Speaker 8: about it. But look, it's my experience. I speak for myself,
- 46:21Speaker 8: and I had a fantastic experience both times. The first
- 46:25Speaker 8: time I did in Peru in the second time down
- 46:27Speaker 8: in Central America. Very thankful for the lessons that I
- 46:33Speaker 8: learned on that. But classic this culture, you know, if
- 46:38Speaker 8: you can't monetize it, then they're going to demonize it.
- 46:42Speaker 8: And ayahuasca. I've seen some crazy headlines about, you know,
- 46:47Speaker 8: psychedelic drug. Right, it's a plant number one. It's just
- 46:53Speaker 8: a plant too. It's been used for generation after generation
- 46:57Speaker 8: after generation in sense in South America, and so as
- 47:03Speaker 8: far as research goes, yeah, there's thousands of years of
- 47:05Speaker 8: research around using this plant in medicinal ceremony, and there's
- 47:14Speaker 8: a lot of benefits to it. For me, it was
- 47:17Speaker 8: like I talked about, you can go listen to the podcast,
- 47:20Speaker 8: but it was two really deeply meaningful experiences. But you know,
- 47:24Speaker 8: if you're not into it, that's fine, But projecting your
- 47:29Speaker 8: own opinion onto something without understanding what it is doesn't
- 47:33Speaker 8: advance any conversation further. And there's a lot of research
- 47:36Speaker 8: around a number of different things labeled as drugs, like psilocybin,
- 47:41Speaker 8: which is mushrooms which is a fun guy, and the
- 47:45Speaker 8: demonization of marijuana that's gone back to you know, the
- 47:50Speaker 8: eighteen hundreds really and hemp and the war against hemp.
- 47:54Speaker 8: There's a great book about that.
- 47:57Speaker 1: You know.
- 47:57Speaker 8: I think that's what people who want to monitorze as
- 48:00Speaker 8: health have done to many things that are plants that
- 48:06Speaker 8: actually have incredible healing. Probably looking at the Chinese, they've
- 48:09Speaker 8: been using herbs for thousands and thousands of years. And
- 48:13Speaker 8: I'm rambling now, but the point is there are like
- 48:16Speaker 8: real substances plants, you know, herbs uh fung guy, that
- 48:23Speaker 8: have been healing people for a long time. And then
- 48:26Speaker 8: there's pharmaceutical stuff, which some is very you know, important
- 48:31Speaker 8: and it helps people with certain specific causes, but there's
- 48:37Speaker 8: also an industrial complex that really wants to make money
- 48:41Speaker 8: off of health.
- 48:42Speaker 5: So when you We've talked about this, but I'm just
- 48:45Speaker 5: kind of asking questions, are you co host?
- 48:47Speaker 1: And then yeah, that's good. He's fired up. I know
- 48:49Speaker 1: he's he's your game ready right now.
- 48:51Speaker 5: Yeah, So I'm just kind of asking questions for Will
- 48:54Speaker 5: to kind of hear it out because we've we've talked
- 48:56Speaker 5: about your trips and experiences and uh, your visits to
- 49:01Speaker 5: these countries. But for like him who doesn't know, like
- 49:06Speaker 5: what goes about that? Like when you drink it? And
- 49:09Speaker 5: like how long is the experience?
- 49:11Speaker 1: What do you do?
- 49:13Speaker 5: What is the I don't want to say vibe because
- 49:16Speaker 5: it's obviously more important than like intent.
- 49:19Speaker 1: Yeah about the vibes on this, Buz brother, Yeah, appreciate that.
- 49:25Speaker 8: Yeah, I've dispelled again. I talk a lot about this
- 49:28Speaker 8: in the podcast. The short version is, ah, it's in
- 49:33Speaker 8: some sort of you know, ceremonial environment, so some you
- 49:37Speaker 8: know urate or a tent or melca.
- 49:40Speaker 1: Like in the like in a jungle or like in
- 49:42Speaker 1: the forest.
- 49:42Speaker 8: In Central America. We're in a jungle. There was you know,
- 49:46Speaker 8: a week long thing. There was twenty two people on
- 49:48Speaker 8: the trip. There was you know, eight facilitators at the
- 49:52Speaker 8: at the the center, the shaman you know obviously comes
- 49:56Speaker 8: in and there's a specific diet that you eat. There's
- 50:02Speaker 8: three nights of sitting with the medicine and then a
- 50:04Speaker 8: day off in between where it's integration. There's conversation around
- 50:08Speaker 8: your experience, but even way before that, there's you know,
- 50:12Speaker 8: talks about your fears around it, the expectations of it.
- 50:18Speaker 8: So you feel really really confident that you go into
- 50:20Speaker 8: it with like the mindset of what you're trying.
- 50:22Speaker 5: To get out of it totally. Yeah, So it's not
- 50:24Speaker 5: just like you're just thrown into it. Oh no, no, No,
- 50:25Speaker 5: it's very intentional. So you go in with an intention,
- 50:29Speaker 5: you know, something you want to work through or you're
- 50:31Speaker 5: open to.
- 50:31Speaker 1: At the end, hard is it to get to that intention?
- 50:34Speaker 2: Well, I'm obviously listening to you, and there's there's like
- 50:36Speaker 2: stuff that you're having to like live in the scarring
- 50:38Speaker 2: of it to like you know, the whole self love
- 50:41Speaker 2: thing that you talk about as well, like being intentional
- 50:43Speaker 2: and trying to have the right mindset going into Like me,
- 50:45Speaker 2: I think about it, I'm like, man, I probably have,
- 50:46Speaker 2: like you get to like an anxiety state like is
- 50:50Speaker 2: this the rabbit hole I want to go down? And
- 50:52Speaker 2: is this the right decision? Like how do you get
- 50:54Speaker 2: to be intentional?
- 50:54Speaker 8: Well, then it's not this that time, you know, for you,
- 50:57Speaker 8: it's not time. I think when you're the you know,
- 51:02Speaker 8: things will come into alignment, you know, and the opportunity
- 51:06Speaker 8: to present itself. But the key for me is the surrender.
- 51:09Speaker 8: So surrendering to the intelligence of the plant or the
- 51:16Speaker 8: intelligence of yourself if you want to look at it,
- 51:19Speaker 8: to go on the journey to learn the lessons that
- 51:21Speaker 8: need to be learned. Because when you're resistant, and it's
- 51:24Speaker 8: just really anything in life, when you're resistant to things,
- 51:26Speaker 8: obviously that water can't flow, that action can happen. And
- 51:30Speaker 8: when you are in a ceremonial space and drink ayahuasca,
- 51:36Speaker 8: it's a very calm environment. It's it's dimly lit drink.
- 51:41Speaker 8: There's mapacho being smoked, which is the sacred tobacco which
- 51:47Speaker 8: the Shamans believe helps keep protection over the space. He's
- 51:52Speaker 8: singing ekroes, which are very like generationally passed down songs
- 51:57Speaker 8: to aid in the the medicinal journey. And then there's
- 52:04Speaker 8: multiple facilitators around who have sat with plants for you know,
- 52:09Speaker 8: much of their life, who can help if things get squarely.
- 52:13Speaker 8: But you know, there's a there's a bucket if you
- 52:16Speaker 8: need to purge or throw up, and there's bathrooms if
- 52:20Speaker 8: you need to go to the bathroom. And other than that,
- 52:22Speaker 8: it's usually you laying on your mat having a deep
- 52:25Speaker 8: and meaningful experience.
- 52:26Speaker 5: Are you with like other people? There's twenty two other people,
- 52:29Speaker 5: so but they but they put you all in the
- 52:31Speaker 5: same area.
- 52:32Speaker 8: Yeah, but you're in your own right, You're in your
- 52:34Speaker 8: own world that problems that we might be Will and
- 52:37Speaker 8: I might be, you know, in mass next to each other,
- 52:39Speaker 8: but I'm in my own experience and he's definitely as.
- 52:42Speaker 1: Will is definitely would be in his own experience shitting myself.
- 52:45Speaker 1: There's no question whatever is happening.
- 52:47Speaker 2: Yeah, we're all I would urge what I want to
- 52:49Speaker 2: ask because I listen to that and I think, like,
- 52:51Speaker 2: all right, you do you do something like that and
- 52:53Speaker 2: then you.
- 52:53Speaker 1: Have whether it's the rest of the off.
- 52:55Speaker 2: Season or you get into the season, what how do
- 52:59Speaker 2: you balance coming out of that and continue to be
- 53:02Speaker 2: intentional with like living in that clarity or like living
- 53:05Speaker 2: and protecting your mental from getting outside of yourself, Like
- 53:09Speaker 2: how do you stay intentional? Like what's like a routine
- 53:11Speaker 2: you might stick to, or like books, or how do
- 53:14Speaker 2: you go about doing that?
- 53:15Speaker 8: Yeah, all that stuff. I think it's you know, is
- 53:18Speaker 8: we're creatures of habit. So the routine during the off season,
- 53:22Speaker 8: it's so nice to not have the routine, to be
- 53:24Speaker 8: able to make your schedule and what you want to do,
- 53:26Speaker 8: and you have your workouts in the mornings usually and stuff.
- 53:29Speaker 8: But when you get back, I think one of the
- 53:31Speaker 8: things that we all love and appreciate is that routine
- 53:35Speaker 8: that kind of keeps us focused on the here and now.
- 53:39Speaker 8: But inside of that, we can't get locked into the
- 53:42Speaker 8: same routine all the time. It takes three weeks to
- 53:44Speaker 8: build a habit, and once it's built, it can stick
- 53:49Speaker 8: with you. But it's keeping your mind focus on what
- 53:52Speaker 8: you want to actually have your days look like. And
- 53:55Speaker 8: for me, there has to be some sort of meditation,
- 53:58Speaker 8: has to be some sort of quiet period, especially when
- 54:02Speaker 8: I get back from work where I can just like
- 54:04Speaker 8: decompress because work is loud and there's a lot of
- 54:08Speaker 8: stuff that we're asked to do.
- 54:11Speaker 1: You know.
- 54:12Speaker 8: Some more than others. Depend on your position, your age,
- 54:15Speaker 8: your importance to certain parts of the aspects of the
- 54:19Speaker 8: chemistry of the team. And I think it's important to
- 54:22Speaker 8: keep that balance when you get home, make having a
- 54:25Speaker 8: space that's kind of just yours and having the time
- 54:28Speaker 8: to be quiet and you know, and to Decompress's important
- 54:32Speaker 8: for me to to kind of mentally stay sharp.
- 54:37Speaker 1: I got another question. I'm just trying not to, you know,
- 54:39Speaker 1: keep going to be on your co hosting game.
- 54:41Speaker 2: So we pivoting going into uh like talking a little
- 54:44Speaker 2: bit about ball and everything else. We just had on
- 54:47Speaker 2: Lafleur and Bissacia number one. I would love to ask,
- 54:49Speaker 2: like your thoughts on Bisacia coming into the team.
- 54:51Speaker 1: I've played for him for a couple of years. I
- 54:53Speaker 1: think he's fucking.
- 54:54Speaker 2: And we needed like some of the best speeches you'll
- 54:56Speaker 2: ever hear in your life, because they're like genuine, like
- 54:58Speaker 2: he's authentic, Like, hey, what do you think of Masaccia?
- 55:01Speaker 8: The best part is I get I like him. I
- 55:04Speaker 8: definitely like him. I got back and he was like, hey,
- 55:06Speaker 8: many didn't respond to my text. I was like, what
- 55:09Speaker 8: do you mean. He's like, oh, I sent you you
- 55:10Speaker 8: know that picture? Do you not get it and like,
- 55:14Speaker 8: I'm not the Bob Nos Sorry Bob, but I'm not
- 55:17Speaker 8: the best Texter. And I was like, ah, man, I
- 55:20Speaker 8: must not have seen it. Anyway, he shows me Like
- 55:23Speaker 8: then he sent me to a number like three numbers ago.
- 55:26Speaker 8: I don't know where he got that number, but it
- 55:27Speaker 8: was like I haven't had that number since like twenty,
- 55:30Speaker 8: you know, twelve or something, and it's like him, I'm like,
- 55:34Speaker 8: the best part of us is you sent this fucking
- 55:36Speaker 8: picture to some random number. And not only that, but
- 55:39Speaker 8: you sent to two numbers that I haven't had him
- 55:41Speaker 8: ten years, so you know, numbers get recycled by super genuine.
- 55:47Speaker 8: It's like, you know, like three people at the Raider
- 55:50Speaker 8: shirt like looking all like mean mugged at the camera.
- 55:53Speaker 2: It's like Rich, what wait was he in his wh
- 55:56Speaker 2: white beater It was with the Raider's beanie on what
- 56:00Speaker 2: was Yes, I.
- 56:03Speaker 8: Just hilarious, Rich Peter Raiders say, like, the best part
- 56:09Speaker 8: you sent that to some random person.
- 56:11Speaker 1: You didn't text him back about that because he thought
- 56:13Speaker 1: he was gonna make you laugh.
- 56:14Speaker 8: But then since I got in my real number, he's
- 56:16Speaker 8: text me non stop that I don't know if I
- 56:21Speaker 8: should have just said, oh yeah, man, great picture. Thanks,
- 56:23Speaker 8: Oh my gosh. No, I like rich though. We need
- 56:25Speaker 8: an attitude change on teams.
- 56:27Speaker 5: So it's just mindset, just like young guys coming in
- 56:30Speaker 5: who don't like get it, like were you like we
- 56:34Speaker 5: get it undrafted.
- 56:35Speaker 1: You have to get it, bro, you get it.
- 56:38Speaker 5: You gotta you gotta play special teams that just make
- 56:40Speaker 5: the team just to get in.
- 56:42Speaker 1: He doesn't know, I don't play teams. No. I held
- 56:45Speaker 1: a few times since Yeah, it's not the same.
- 56:50Speaker 5: And just kind of bringing that culture and like acceptance
- 56:55Speaker 5: of like you know, like that's like it's okay. There's
- 56:58Speaker 5: no like pride in like being on especial teams, Like
- 57:01Speaker 5: there's no like loss of pride, like that's how you
- 57:03Speaker 5: get there. And him being so straightforward and like black
- 57:06Speaker 5: and white about it is like the best thing for
- 57:08Speaker 5: this team. It's kind of like creating like men when
- 57:11Speaker 5: they walk in the door, like to just like and
- 57:13Speaker 5: he teaches football as a whole, like skill as a whole.
- 57:15Speaker 5: He doesn't just teach like special teams drills or like
- 57:18Speaker 5: football drills like fundamental drills that like you just don't
- 57:21Speaker 5: get when you get to the league.
- 57:23Speaker 2: With going off with Pisascia playing with h Lafleur coming
- 57:28Speaker 2: in a few years ago.
- 57:29Speaker 1: How's it been like you guys sharing ideas, pitballing back
- 57:34Speaker 1: and forth.
- 57:35Speaker 2: There's obviously always the vibe out there of like your guys,
- 57:37Speaker 2: like you guys are both the head coaches of the team,
- 57:39Speaker 2: like talk about coach La a little bit.
- 57:41Speaker 1: I know, you got to be aware of it. He was.
- 57:43Speaker 2: Actually he was on here and he told a really
- 57:45Speaker 2: cool short because I was like, Yo, like coaching twelve,
- 57:47Speaker 2: Like you've been around a lot of quarterbacks throughout your career,
- 57:50Speaker 2: Like what makes twelve different?
- 57:51Speaker 1: He brought up, Actually it was both of you guys.
- 57:53Speaker 2: He brought up a play from Detroit where you guys
- 57:56Speaker 2: are literally talking right before as the play clock's winding
- 57:59Speaker 2: down and he's in his mind thinks like he's not
- 58:01Speaker 2: going to get this ball if he has no clue
- 58:02Speaker 2: that it's going down, and it was about to hit zero.
- 58:05Speaker 2: He calls the time out and he was like there
- 58:07Speaker 2: was zero coming. Him and Rob are talking back and forth.
- 58:10Speaker 2: I called time out before the clock hit zero, and
- 58:12Speaker 2: Aaron just goes like he's like Aaron comes over and
- 58:14Speaker 2: just gets met like God damn it. Matt and he's
- 58:16Speaker 2: like it was a learning lesson for him because of
- 58:19Speaker 2: how aware he is about so many situations, like talk
- 58:22Speaker 2: a little bit about your head coach, belfloor.
- 58:25Speaker 8: Under that that picture you're just painted.
- 58:30Speaker 1: Go ahead, Yeah, sometimes you know, I'm learning. I'm learning
- 58:33Speaker 1: as I I get better each time I get on here.
- 58:36Speaker 8: There's been a lot of disinformation and misinformation about uh,
- 58:42Speaker 8: you know that was put out right away with Matt.
- 58:45Speaker 8: We're not gonna be able to work together. I'm not coachable,
- 58:49Speaker 8: you know, all this bullshit. We basically turned all that
- 58:52Speaker 8: on its head pretty quick. You know, I respect the
- 58:55Speaker 8: guy who works his ass off, and Matt has an
- 58:59Speaker 8: incredible work ethic. He really does. I mean, he is
- 59:02Speaker 8: a grinder and he cares about it. And the biggest
- 59:05Speaker 8: dance we had to figure out was pairing his knowledge
- 59:10Speaker 8: of scheme with my knowledge of experience, you know, on
- 59:15Speaker 8: the field. And obviously he's called games, you know, he
- 59:17Speaker 8: was coordinator and Tennessee. But but I think after the
- 59:23Speaker 8: first year, in the off season, we really paired those
- 59:25Speaker 8: things up and we whittled down the offense, took out
- 59:29Speaker 8: stuff that we never ran or that didn't work, kind
- 59:32Speaker 8: of put a couple of things back in that have
- 59:35Speaker 8: worked in the past, and it changed a lot of
- 59:38Speaker 8: things I think for our offense and changed how him
- 59:42Speaker 8: and I interacted. The trust was there, and I stopped
- 59:46Speaker 8: feeling like, you know, I was a game manager and
- 59:52Speaker 8: he I felt like we took the reins off of
- 59:56Speaker 8: the blinders out of the offense and kind of let
- 59:58Speaker 8: us run free and and had a couple of really
- 1:00:01Speaker 8: good years of offensive football.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: But I think I love about Matt is it.
- 1:00:06Speaker 8: He's he does have a growth mindset and when he
- 1:00:10Speaker 8: came in the way he's talked to the team in meetings,
- 1:00:13Speaker 8: the way you interact with the guys. He's still corny
- 1:00:15Speaker 8: and has got his jokes and we find him for
- 1:00:17Speaker 8: bad jokes. But but uh, the worst jokes. But the worst, Yeah,
- 1:00:23Speaker 8: the worst. But he's really he tries. Here's a no,
- 1:00:25Speaker 8: he tries so hard and you love that. And he
- 1:00:28Speaker 8: fucking grinds too. Yeah, I mean, so how do you
- 1:00:31Speaker 8: not respect that the dude fucking grinds. You've come in,
- 1:00:33Speaker 8: he's got five or six, like really fucking good plays
- 1:00:37Speaker 8: during the week and you're like, all right, awesome, thank
- 1:00:40Speaker 8: you for grinding so much. Also, you're getting skinny, fat
- 1:00:43Speaker 8: so just check yourself.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Mat.
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: But no one has to pay attention to skinny fat
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: when you got eyebrows like that.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: And teeth is white, like obviously I don't have the
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: ears like immediately I saw you look down like he
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: has very white teeth. Naturally, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: Like he's got his eyebrows, he's goutys white teeth. It's
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: hard to look down and understand.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: You asked him, who does his eyebrows? No, I didn't.
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: I'm just curious. Great great belly button too, he's got
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: a good belly button. No, he is like somebody who
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: he understands.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: He has like the awareness of his corniness and he
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: knows like he's like, I don't want to try and
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: be somebody I'm not. And I think he really respects
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: that this locker room is player led and like he uh,
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: he used an example of a Campbell bringing it up
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: and telling these guys are gonna have a reality reality check,
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: like this practice is hard now because you guys like
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: the Vets are the established guys aren't going to be
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: playing a lot in this first game, right, and this
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: is good for you because you guys are gonna have
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: a real reality check in the game and he stands
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: there and he says, when you sit back and hear
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: guys say stuff like that, it just it takes it
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: takes like an expectation off because he's like, I can
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: say it as much as I want, Yeah, but it
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: comes from a place of all, we're trying to work
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: you guys as hard as possible.
- 1:01:49Speaker 5: And but like conversations that I've had with him, it's
- 1:01:51Speaker 5: like for him at the beginning, it was he didn't
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: feel like he was doing enough when he was letting
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: those players lead, more like letting twelve like.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: Two minute, I feel like I was. That was coming
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: out of my mouth.
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: That was coming out of my mouth, I said with
- 1:02:04Speaker 5: Aaron with two minute was like, and we talked about
- 1:02:07Speaker 5: on the podcast. It's just like Aaron barely knows what
- 1:02:11Speaker 5: the next play call is going to be. Obviously, Matt's
- 1:02:13Speaker 5: not gonna know my secrets. By the way, that's not
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: secrets at all. That's true, that open ended thought process.
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: Ever, and like no one knows the secret because there
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: is no secret. Nobody knows what's going to happen next.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Right, only you know the secret? You never know, You
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: never know.
- 1:02:30Speaker 5: Man, And I think like he was just more so
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: at the beginning and not like a pridor ego thing,
- 1:02:36Speaker 5: but just he wanted to be like a part of it,
- 1:02:39Speaker 5: you know. Yeah, And it's not everyone has an ego.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: Definitely some ego. It's like, well, I want to be
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: a part of it. I want to help out.
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: That's the difference of you know, year eighteen versus year
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: five and a half.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: What's the difference. Ego. Yeah, it is the ego, right
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: to it. Yeah, yeah, they're like.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, no, I feel you because you're still trying
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: to You're trying to have an eighteen year career, right.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: Trying to be nice, to be awesome would be nice. He's, uh,
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: you can do it. I can't do it. He can
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: afford to just come out and say that. Well, but
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: I do love that.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: I do love how open you can be because it
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: gives like a fresh perspective to a lot of people
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: on what goes on in the mind of players that
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: we can't necessarcially.
- 1:03:17Speaker 5: For being a young head coach, so to have like
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: this locker room is so like good to set a
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: foundation for him like moving forward.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: I agree. And it's not like this everywhere. It's not
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: at all, what do you mean by that? We got
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: the best locker room in the NFL? Oh? Good, good one. No,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: you're not even talking about like, well I think this.
- 1:03:41Speaker 8: I think Uh. There's fear around player led teams ultimately,
- 1:03:47Speaker 8: especially with new programs. And there's always new programs in
- 1:03:49Speaker 8: the league. So new coach comes in, you know, he
- 1:03:52Speaker 8: wants to do his ship and the last guy was
- 1:03:54Speaker 8: an idiot, and I want my guys in here. And
- 1:03:58Speaker 8: we have so much turnover it's hard to really keep
- 1:04:00Speaker 8: the fabric of what makes that place special there. And
- 1:04:05Speaker 8: we naturally have an amazing kind of fabric and aura
- 1:04:09Speaker 8: around lambeau Field and the Packers. But if we didn't
- 1:04:12Speaker 8: have myself and Saydes and Mason and Bach and Bobby
- 1:04:21Speaker 8: and Alan and some of these guys you know who've
- 1:04:24Speaker 8: been around the team Cobby for a long time, that's
- 1:04:27Speaker 8: the fabric of the team. And then instead of like
- 1:04:30Speaker 8: trying to insert your own dogma and you know way
- 1:04:34Speaker 8: of doing things that has to be right, going to
- 1:04:37Speaker 8: those guys and saying what's worked here, Like what works
- 1:04:40Speaker 8: in green Bay? Because green Bay is different, every place
- 1:04:42Speaker 8: is different. What works here that I can add into
- 1:04:46Speaker 8: my philosophy and my boundaries for the team and my
- 1:04:50Speaker 8: you know, goals and directions. And I think that that's
- 1:04:52Speaker 8: what Matt did really well, was he simplified things. He
- 1:04:55Speaker 8: came in he said the three rules, like fuck, thank you.
- 1:04:59Speaker 8: Three rules.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: Awesome? What are they?
- 1:05:01Speaker 8: Put the team first, don't make excuses and complain, and
- 1:05:04Speaker 8: beyond time be prepared like awesome, okay, and then we're
- 1:05:10Speaker 8: gonna hold guys accountable if they don't follow the rules. Sweet,
- 1:05:14Speaker 8: all right, So it's just like simple ship, right, that
- 1:05:18Speaker 8: makes sense. And then players take it over, right.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: And everybody kind of working together and like obviously, yes
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: there's ego and all, but checking your ego at the
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: door while you're going into.
- 1:05:28Speaker 5: Yeah you, I think that what was the thing that
- 1:05:32Speaker 5: the players Tribune that I kind of said in in
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: that letter was humble bragg, humble bally write it.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: Oh you wrote it, and Will you wrote it.
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: But like you there, you don't even have to like
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: check your ego at the door, Like it just naturally
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: like just goes away once you get around like the
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: leaders in the locker room, because when we hold each
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: other accountable and two like we just actually like about
- 1:06:00Speaker 5: each other. So you're not trying to come in here
- 1:06:03Speaker 5: and you know, be anything you're not like he's saying,
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: or like.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: When we fuck with each other too.
- 1:06:07Speaker 8: Yeah, you know, I think there has to be an
- 1:06:09Speaker 8: environment where you can have jokes and mess around.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: Yeah, have boys and sees each other.
- 1:06:13Speaker 8: Yeah, that's what like brothers all about, right, Like yeah,
- 1:06:16Speaker 8: you know, tearing it, picking at you, you know, you know,
- 1:06:19Speaker 8: getting after you a little bit on where you're sensitive
- 1:06:21Speaker 8: and then building you up when when we need to
- 1:06:23Speaker 8: build you up. And I asked, what, Yeah, it's just
- 1:06:25Speaker 8: great about our environment here.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: Are you sensitive?
- 1:06:30Speaker 8: It's about a couple of things.
- 1:06:31Speaker 5: Yeah, but no, like there's really no one actually sensitive.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: In the building other than.
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: Matt, Like like about jokes.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: But he's gotten better. Yeah, he's got better. He's gotten better.
- 1:06:44Speaker 5: But like when someone comes in with an ego and
- 1:06:46Speaker 5: is like loud and up noxious or something like that,
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: like they're either not here long or they like stick
- 1:06:50Speaker 5: out like a sore thumb.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: In a bad way.
- 1:06:52Speaker 8: You can you know, we won't, but you can probably
- 1:06:55Speaker 8: name I mean I can in eighteen years and you can.
- 1:06:57Speaker 8: And how many years you've been here now five and
- 1:06:59Speaker 8: a half. I mean, there's definitely a few of those
- 1:07:02Speaker 8: guys who have been stuck around.
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: Dude, and you're eighteen. You've played eighteen fucking years, which
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: is unreal. This will be eighteen. You play seventeen going
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: on eighteen, going for back to back to back MVPs.
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: But I think a couple of things that were glossed over,
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: not glossed over. But what I really found interesting in
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: that two and a half hour long podcast you did
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: with Aubrey is you know, over the years, obviously you're
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: you have this mystique about you where.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: Media and everybody.
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: Else tries to separate you from the stuff you do
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: on the field, how much you care, your actual competitive nature,
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: how good of an.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Actual leader you are.
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: People try and separate and create a lot of stuff
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: and it all gets away from everybody else. But one
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: thing I really like listen to that, I was like,
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: that's fucking awesome to kind of hear him reflect on
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: was just how competitive you were going all the way
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: back to sitting in because I was the same way,
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: like I would sit on rivals and obsessed over being
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: like I'm fucking better than this dude, Like I need
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: to be trying to get to this camp. Like this
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: obsession of like I would sacrifice and say no to
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: this stuff on weekends, like you've you've like that's the
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: humanizing thing that where it's like, oh fuck, like yeah,
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: every young cat is like that, and you're the same
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: way that young kid that's like loved the game. And
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: another thing like squatting five hundred fucking pounds going into
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: year eighteen, ay safety boy, Hey, And I justify myself
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: because I'm like, man, he puts he's he's squatting on me.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: I don't think I could do five hundred on the
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: safety bar anymore.
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: But I'm like, but that is like, like that competitive
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: nature is what I'm trying to pull out from this
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: based on being young and you going.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: All the way back to that and you kind of
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: having that.
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: But it gets lost in translation because everybody's so obsessive
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: of things that you do in the off season that
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: I think people lose sight of that little kid that
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: was still sitting probably writing the coaches or fucking watching
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: rivals tape and trying to be the best or I
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: need to get a scholarship to cal But that.
- 1:08:54Speaker 8: Doesn't put the narrative. You know, I think they've they've
- 1:08:56Speaker 8: definitely painted me. Is they want me to play the
- 1:08:58Speaker 8: villain role. You know, they have all different roles and
- 1:09:00Speaker 8: sports can be.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: Said own you like in the middle of the season,
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: like it can be.
- 1:09:05Speaker 5: Yeah, it would be much more fun if it was
- 1:09:08Speaker 5: it wasn't the villain role and he's just doing that
- 1:09:10Speaker 5: and just having fun.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: I agree, you enjoy it fun.
- 1:09:13Speaker 8: No, No, I'm saying if it was embracing the villain,
- 1:09:15Speaker 8: I'm saying, that's how I'm getting atainted.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: Bro, that's a sensitive fine. I was literally just saying.
- 1:09:20Speaker 5: I was saying, it would be much more like nice
- 1:09:22Speaker 5: and like like if he was portrayed as you know
- 1:09:26Speaker 5: who he actually is.
- 1:09:27Speaker 8: I don't care, right, No, you won't pay me as
- 1:09:29Speaker 8: a villain?
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: Cool? Do you enjoy that? Like? Do you have fun?
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: Like?
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: No?
- 1:09:33Speaker 8: I mean I don't pay a lot of attention to it.
- 1:09:36Speaker 8: I know it's out there. I know that's right.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: You did.
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: You did speak in that podcast if times were man,
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: what was the word you're saying? But you're like, I
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: knew I was acting like something about it. Indifference.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: I was talking about killing people with difference, Yeah yeah,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: killing people with yeah yeah, right, about murdering people difference.
- 1:09:54Speaker 8: It has ever been a you know, a part of
- 1:09:55Speaker 8: the you know, part of the murder what charge, But
- 1:10:04Speaker 8: but no, I was just saying that I do care deeply.
- 1:10:08Speaker 8: I care about excellence. I care about my teammates, care
- 1:10:15Speaker 8: about setting the standard, living up to that standard, and
- 1:10:19Speaker 8: care about how I'm viewed in the locker room. And
- 1:10:22Speaker 8: I care about how I'm know how I show up
- 1:10:25Speaker 8: in the world. You know, I want to show up
- 1:10:26Speaker 8: in the world exactly how I see myself. I think
- 1:10:29Speaker 8: that's the goal for any of us. We want to
- 1:10:32Speaker 8: be seen, heard and understood, right. I think that's kind
- 1:10:35Speaker 8: of built into the fabric of our humanity. And you know,
- 1:10:41Speaker 8: for me, I was seeing I was kind of heard,
- 1:10:44Speaker 8: but I was also kind of an enigma because I
- 1:10:46Speaker 8: talk a lot about my personal life but definitely not understood.
- 1:10:49Speaker 8: And there were a lot of narratives that I ran
- 1:10:51Speaker 8: out there about, you know, what they thought I was like,
- 1:10:54Speaker 8: or what they expected or what they postulated or projected.
- 1:10:58Speaker 8: I was like, And it's been nice last week years
- 1:11:00Speaker 8: with you know, doing Pat Show and be a little
- 1:11:02Speaker 8: more open with the media and then doing stuff like
- 1:11:05Speaker 8: this with you. And you know, I enjoy these conversations
- 1:11:07Speaker 8: because I think people get to you know, see actually
- 1:11:11Speaker 8: who I am. They still don't like me, that's cool whatever.
- 1:11:14Speaker 8: At least you get to like hear it from me, like, no,
- 1:11:17Speaker 8: this is what I'm about, this is who I am.
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: Take care to leave it were was there any type
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: of nervous This might not be the right word, but
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: like getting into doing the macape stuff like going out
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: and showing yourself and being vulnerable enough to talk about
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: these things, like, was there any type of myrtle you
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: had to get over doing that and getting.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: It goes back to the plant. Yeah, it just goes
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: back to the plant. Man.
- 1:11:42Speaker 8: I think I got to the point of where truly, truly,
- 1:11:47Speaker 8: deep down, not having anxiety or fear around, uh, what's
- 1:11:53Speaker 8: going to be said about me? Knowing that the deepest
- 1:11:56Speaker 8: regret would be to not show up exactly how I
- 1:12:00Speaker 8: want to show up and to say exactly what I believe.
- 1:12:03Speaker 8: And that was the acting part that I could actually
- 1:12:08Speaker 8: not respond and and not care because I do want
- 1:12:13Speaker 8: to be seen how I see myself.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: I think we all do.
- 1:12:16Speaker 8: And a lot of people have said a lot of
- 1:12:18Speaker 8: things about me over the years and portrayed me in
- 1:12:21Speaker 8: a certain way. And this has been to some extent
- 1:12:24Speaker 8: because you're never going to change. People that don't want
- 1:12:26Speaker 8: to like you, don't like hate you. I think you're diva, ego, moniacal, narcissist,
- 1:12:33Speaker 8: whatever else they say. But he's not paying attention. Yeah,
- 1:12:37Speaker 8: I'm postulating, you know, that might be said. But in
- 1:12:40Speaker 8: the end to be able to have a voice and
- 1:12:42Speaker 8: take back minerve to some extent at least just speak
- 1:12:47Speaker 8: the truth about who I am and what I'm about.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: It feels pretty good.
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: I love him, man, I admire it, like I think
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: it's I think it's awesome that you're Like when I
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: heard you were going on PMT and stuff. My man,
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: we're supposed to be fucking sitting down with them. But
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: I really respect like all of this stuff. Like listen
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: to that pod with the Aubrey.
- 1:13:04Speaker 8: Listened to it, And we need more people who can
- 1:13:08Speaker 8: have conversations and highlight guys in the league who are
- 1:13:12Speaker 8: deep thinkers and interesting people and not just your standard
- 1:13:18Speaker 8: blah blah football bullshit stuff. Because there's a lot of
- 1:13:21Speaker 8: great stories in the league that don't get told, a
- 1:13:23Speaker 8: lot of great humans who are smart and interesting and thoughtful.
- 1:13:27Speaker 8: And I appreciate you, you know, highlighting those people and
- 1:13:32Speaker 8: taking care of my boy boy, big Bob.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: Are we gonna be rolling? Are we gonna? Are we
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: gonna be a crew? In due time? In due time?
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: You know when when you you know, do.
- 1:13:44Speaker 8: We get like those like three wheeled the motorcycles become
- 1:13:48Speaker 8: a motorcycle gang?
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: Or what I would be? I would be down with that.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: That's the boys, a gang of love. That is true.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Why did he want to kick me in the balls?
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: You said Aaron said he wanted to.
- 1:13:57Speaker 5: Kick I don't have a reason. I just said, that's
- 1:13:59Speaker 5: something you guys got to deal with. I just felt
- 1:14:01Speaker 5: like you took you know, you posting that video the
- 1:14:04Speaker 5: other day. It was really hurtful. So among other things,
- 1:14:10Speaker 5: question what else? What else?
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: I don't remember?
- 1:14:12Speaker 8: I forgot, I got Let's get it out, okay, I
- 1:14:17Speaker 8: got a meeting in six minutes.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: Do you have a tier? Times? We don't because it
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: was it was too short. How else do we got
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: to figure out? How about this?
- 1:14:26Speaker 5: But we can cut this if Aaron doesn't want it on.
- 1:14:29Speaker 5: But I thought about it last night.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: You ready to ask one more question? Yes?
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: Before we do that, because I think it's major. How
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: do you see yourself going out?
- 1:14:38Speaker 8: Because you've played eighteen years seven.
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: Seventeen years, and I'm sure Super Bowls involved and stuff,
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: but like, how do you see yourself going out as
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: it is? It talking about that young ten year old
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: Aaron Rodgers that love this game so much. Has been
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: so competitive, so you're always doing yourself right by it,
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: But like, how do you see Aaron Rodgers going out
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: when you do decide to retire.
- 1:15:02Speaker 8: I see waking up and with a lot of gratitude
- 1:15:06Speaker 8: for a twenty five years playing the same thing, playing
- 1:15:11Speaker 8: the same sport. However many years at twenty five, this
- 1:15:16Speaker 8: is my twenty fifth years, So whether it's like five
- 1:15:18Speaker 8: or twenty six or twenty seven, I'm counting, like you know,
- 1:15:21Speaker 8: junior college and cal and High school.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: And he's a grinder Juco. Yeah, yeah, Juco grinder. All
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: I need to hear was he was watching Rivals and it.

- 1:15:39Speaker 2: you build that kind of chip on your shoulder.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: But yeah it did.
- 1:15:43Speaker 8: But you know, I think the time is going to
- 1:15:45Speaker 8: be pretty evident you it was my time to hang
- 1:15:48Speaker 8: it up. Oh no, okay, and it's it's it'll be
- 1:15:52Speaker 8: mental hopefully physical. I mean that's an easy time when
- 1:15:56Speaker 8: you know you can't physically do it. But if I
- 1:15:57Speaker 8: can still physically do it, it's just the mental part.
- 1:16:00Speaker 8: And is it time to move on or a time
- 1:16:02Speaker 8: to keep it rolling and keep on chasing?

- 1:16:45Speaker 5: One bench, one cut, one Okay, is my last one
- 1:16:47Speaker 5: that I'm out? Yes, me too, go for it. We're
- 1:16:50Speaker 5: on the same team. Start one bench one, cut one.

- 1:17:17Speaker 8: had a super Bowl together. Yet them, we won a

- 1:17:25Speaker 5: My question here it is.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: It was my question.
- 1:17:28Speaker 8: Donald brought the ipady, and I'm gonna start to why
- 1:17:32Speaker 8: are you benching Jordie because Jordie is a farmer now
- 1:17:34Speaker 8: and I saw him there day put a little bit
- 1:17:35Speaker 8: of weight on, and Tay still looks good and still
- 1:17:39Speaker 8: the best receiver in the league. So I'm definitely starting.
- 1:17:42Speaker 5: I was in my friend's basement watching him win a
- 1:17:44Speaker 5: Super Bowl sophomore.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: We were all somewhere watching him win a super Bowl.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: I was there, like he was.
