Major road work is underway in town, hitting College Avenue, SC 93, and North Clemson Avenue — the final phase of a big infrastructure upgrade. Starting Monday, expect major detours and closures: College & SC 93 will shut down next Monday, July 27th, with North Clemson fully closed, then extending to Sloan Street by August 3rd. Detours include Keith → Sloan → Edgewood for College to SC 93, Perimeter Road for Highway 93, and Martin → Riggs for College to SC 76. Delivery trucks still get through safely. Downtown shops remain open, and parking is free for first four hours at Keith and Fendley…
