- 0:01Speaker 1: You know, whenever there is an injury to a big
- 0:05Speaker 1: name player, it really throws the entire fantasy season off
- 0:08Speaker 1: for a lot of people. While that is happening, it
- 0:11Speaker 1: seems like every week where there has been all kinds
- 0:14Speaker 1: of big names going down with injury. And the latest,
- 0:17Speaker 1: of course, is Jalen Hurts. And so it looks like
- 0:20Speaker 1: this week, that's sort of the theme of Fantasy Freakin' Football.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Did every guy on your bench go off? Did you
- 0:32Speaker 2: decide to set your top scorer because you had a hunch?
- 0:37Speaker 2: Did your drafting a kicker in the first round strategy
- 0:40Speaker 2: not pay off? Then this is the show for you.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Now here to help you set your lineups every week,
- 0:48Speaker 2: it's Eddie and Thor with Fantasy Frickin' Football.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Wow. Really weird week of fantasy for me. I don't
- 0:57Speaker 1: know how your week went, Thor, but for me, I
- 1:01Speaker 1: won only in one out of the three leagues. I
- 1:03Speaker 1: went 0-3. Did you really?
- 1:05Speaker 3: After going 3-0. That's brutal.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Yeah, but it was a weird week, and the injuries
- 1:12Speaker 1: really finally caught up to me. I was already kind
- 1:15Speaker 1: of thin at running back, and I lost Brees Hall.
- 1:19Speaker 1: I lost Um, all the different guys that I had, um,
- 1:22Speaker 1: Travis HN, I had, I had a bunch of different
- 1:25Speaker 1: guys and they were all down. And so, I mean,
- 1:27Speaker 1: I was literally scraping the bottom of the barrel, trying
- 1:31Speaker 1: and hoping that somebody was going to come through. They didn't.
- 1:34Speaker 1: I think I had the lowest points in our one
- 1:37Speaker 1: league that we're in together. Um, but hope is on
- 1:40Speaker 1: the way. Some guys are coming back. Um, I'm getting
- 1:43Speaker 1: through the buys. The other thing that killed me is that, uh,
- 1:47Speaker 1: the lions were out. I have Amon Ross, St. Brown.
- 1:50Speaker 1: And so, I mean, he's my top guy. And if
- 1:52Speaker 1: I don't have him, I'm screwed. And then like Josh
- 1:55Speaker 1: Allen had just a whatever week. And so things like
- 1:57Speaker 1: that really killed me. But in our work league, I'm
- 2:01Speaker 1: in first place. And I'm killing it in that league
- 2:04Speaker 1: for some reason. I'm just pulling the right strings or
- 2:07Speaker 1: whatever and doing everything right in that league. And then
- 2:09Speaker 1: my other two leagues, it's just injuries. And I'm just,
- 2:12Speaker 1: they're killing me. And so it's not a matchup problem.
- 2:14Speaker 1: It's not anything like that. I'm just getting killed by injuries.
- 2:17Speaker 1: But I do feel like I'm not panicking yet. There's
- 2:21Speaker 1: still a lot of time left.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Half the season's gone.
- 2:24Speaker 1: It is, but I mean.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Week seven is halfway point.
- 2:26Speaker 1: All I care about is not finishing last in that
- 2:28Speaker 1: one league. So as long as I don't finish last,
- 2:30Speaker 1: I really don't care.
- 2:31Speaker 3: You know, me and you are on 11th and 12th
- 2:32Speaker 3: right now.
- 2:32Speaker 1: It might come down to being you, which is brutal.
- 2:35Speaker 1: It sucks. And so that league, I'm not panicking about.
- 2:40Speaker 1: I made some pretty decent waiver wire pickups this week,
- 2:43Speaker 1: which I'm pretty happy about. So we'll see. I'm still
- 2:46Speaker 1: in a kind of optimistic mode here. I'm not freaking
- 2:50Speaker 1: out yet. Yeah.
- 2:51Speaker 3: And that league where we're 11 and 12, my team's
- 2:54Speaker 3: not terrible. I just can't put together like Jordan Love,
- 2:57Speaker 3: Bucky Irvin, Zay Flowers, Justin Jefferson, Isaiah Likely. But what's
- 3:02Speaker 3: killing me is Saquon still hasn't played and Jalen Waddle's
- 3:04Speaker 3: a bust. And it's just, it's just been brutal. And
- 3:07Speaker 3: I have to, I'm like considering finally benching Jalen Waddle
- 3:10Speaker 3: and starting Demario Douglas. But here's the problem. I don't
- 3:14Speaker 3: want to start two Patriots on the same offense. My
- 3:17Speaker 3: other one is Ramadre Stevenson. But I may have to
- 3:20Speaker 3: start him because Saquon may not play again. But I'm
- 3:23Speaker 3: legitimately considering risking Saquon. If Saquon is limited today or
- 3:28Speaker 3: limited tomorrow, I may just... bench and and just get
- 3:32Speaker 3: through it and go with and just see if he
- 3:34Speaker 3: plays on monday.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Because the cowboys were terrible it's such a risk because
- 3:38Speaker 1: it's monday.
- 3:39Speaker 3: I know and i could rock i could start rashid
- 3:41Speaker 3: white but he's on a buy so i don't know
- 3:43Speaker 3: i just that league i'm just i'm just very unlucky
- 3:45Speaker 3: right now and then uh in our work league it's
- 3:47Speaker 3: the same thing i don't think my team is bad.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Dude in the unlucky well you got bad matchup that
- 3:52Speaker 1: week because you would have beat most of the league
- 3:54Speaker 1: With your point total, but you just picked the guy
- 3:57Speaker 1: that I think had the highest point total.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not stressing about it yet. I'm hanging in there.
- 4:01Speaker 3: We're at the halfway point. I can hear the stress
- 4:06Speaker 3: in your voice. You gotta string together a couple W's.
- 4:09Speaker 3: But it's like, one guy goes out and it kills you.
- 4:11Speaker 3: I don't have Lamar. I have Lamar in one league,
- 4:14Speaker 3: but I picked up Jordan Love, so I'm fine. But
- 4:17Speaker 3: I have Zay Flowers. And Zay Flowers has gotten 20
- 4:20Speaker 3: targets in two games. But He's not producing because Tyler
- 4:24Speaker 3: Huntley stinks. So it's like, it's frustrating. Or, you know,
- 4:28Speaker 3: if you lose Jalen Hurts and you have Devontae Smith,
- 4:30Speaker 3: that sucks. Though I do... People keep saying the Eagles
- 4:34Speaker 3: are done.
- 4:34Speaker 1: They're mailed it in.
- 4:36Speaker 3: I don't think so. They spent a lot of money
- 4:38Speaker 3: on that defense. The defense is still pretty decent. Not
- 4:41Speaker 3: a lot of injuries. I think Tanner McKee will play okay.
- 4:44Speaker 3: And if they get Saquon back... I don't think the
- 4:47Speaker 3: Eagles are going to mail it in. They're a half
- 4:49Speaker 3: a game out of first place.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Well, that's the thing. They're in a division where they
- 4:52Speaker 1: could still be competitive.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Everyone's saying they're going to trade off this guy. They're not.
- 4:56Speaker 3: They signed all these big contracts. I don't think the
- 4:59Speaker 3: Eagles are going to do that. If anything, I think
- 5:01Speaker 3: they're going to say, hey, let's see how far we
- 5:02Speaker 3: can get with Tanner McKee. Because I think they want
- 5:05Speaker 3: to get rid of Jalen Hurts because he's got a
- 5:07Speaker 3: big contract and he's not great. He's great in the
- 5:10Speaker 3: Super Bowls for some reason. He balls out in Super Bowls.
- 5:13Speaker 3: So that wouldn't surprise me.
- 5:14Speaker 1: So don't give up on the Devontae Smiths and those
- 5:19Speaker 1: kind of guys? I wouldn't yet.
- 5:21Speaker 3: I wouldn't because their defense is still decent. I could
- 5:23Speaker 3: see them beating the Cowboys on Monday. I could see
- 5:26Speaker 3: that happening.
- 5:26Speaker 1: The Cowboys are another level.
- 5:28Speaker 3: The Cowboys are the only team in that division without injuries.
- 5:30Speaker 3: They just stink.
- 5:31Speaker 1: And it's so weird. In my OG league, it came
- 5:35Speaker 1: down to, I think it was the Sunday night game,
- 5:38Speaker 1: where I just needed George Pickens to do something. Give
- 5:41Speaker 1: me something. And I ended up losing by one point
- 5:46Speaker 1: because Pickens. And that was it.
- 5:48Speaker 3: He's getting targets, but there's no big plays.
- 5:50Speaker 1: He's not scoring one touchdown on the season. It's crazy.
- 5:53Speaker 3: It's just every time Dak goes back to throw, he's
- 5:56Speaker 3: throwing it to CeeDee Lamb, and then every blue moon
- 5:59Speaker 3: Pickens gets a target.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on.
- 6:01Speaker 3: And I guess he's starting to dog routes, which isn't surprising.
- 6:04Speaker 3: A guy like Jordan Pickens, if he doesn't get the ball,
- 6:06Speaker 3: he's going to start dogging routes.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Yeah, definitely a weird season so far.
- 6:10Speaker 3: When last week, yesterday too, sorry, Eddie, yesterday too wasn't
- 6:14Speaker 3: really high scoring for most of the league. Like there
- 6:17Speaker 3: was a lot of like... Oh, Monday night, you mean?
- 6:18Speaker 1: Monday nights and Sunday.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Monday nights and Sunday. There wasn't a ton of crazy
- 6:23Speaker 3: guys going off. A couple guys went off, but for
- 6:28Speaker 3: the most part, it was very low scoring.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Yeah, it makes fantasy hard to kind of figure out.
- 6:33Speaker 1: And so that's what we're trying to do here. We're
- 6:35Speaker 1: going to try to help you out if you've got
- 6:37Speaker 1: injury situations or whatever it is. You can hit us
- 6:41Speaker 1: up on X at the show Thor, at the show Eddie.
- 6:45Speaker 1: You can email us your questions, and we'll try to
- 6:47Speaker 1: get to them every week. So like I said in
- 6:49Speaker 1: the beginning here, I got serious theme going on here
- 6:52Speaker 1: with a lot of the questions this week, and it
- 6:54Speaker 1: seems like the quarterback situation is the theme here. It says,
- 6:58Speaker 1: one of the first questions says, Lost hurts for the year.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Best quarterback I can pick up is Jameis Winston. Oh, yeah.
- 7:06Speaker 1: He's not even playing.
- 7:07Speaker 3: Yeah, he's not starting anymore.
- 7:08Speaker 1: And by the way, that's probably not true. There's probably
- 7:12Speaker 1: guys that are available that you just don't want to
- 7:15Speaker 1: deal with. Like Jacoby Brissett is available in most leagues,
- 7:19Speaker 1: and he's not the best, but he can get you
- 7:21Speaker 1: through a week or two until somebody comes back or whatever.
- 7:25Speaker 1: So he has a trade situation. He said he was
- 7:28Speaker 1: offered Bryce Young and Jalen Coker, both on the same team, Uh,
- 7:32Speaker 1: for Justin Jefferson, would you do?
- 7:35Speaker 3: No, that's insanity. I would not do that. Justin Jefferson
- 7:40Speaker 3: has played a game and a quarter with Kyler Murray
- 7:44Speaker 3: in the quarter. He played, he had three catches, 50 yards.
- 7:47Speaker 3: And then the game he played, he had like 18
- 7:48Speaker 3: or 20 points. So they're just getting started. Justin Jefferson
- 7:52Speaker 3: is legit. I'm not trading Justin Jefferson.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Justin Jefferson is an A, right? Bryce Young was probably
- 7:59Speaker 1: not even drafted.
- 8:00Speaker 3: He's okay.
- 8:01Speaker 1: And he's had a decent year.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:02Speaker 1: But to give up him, and Coker's been a nice find.
- 8:07Speaker 1: He's been good.
- 8:07Speaker 3: But I know that Justin Jefferson's going to be good
- 8:09Speaker 3: the whole season.
- 8:10Speaker 1: If you would have thrown in Tet McMillan, now we're
- 8:13Speaker 1: getting somewhere. But I also don't want two guys on
- 8:16Speaker 1: the same team.
- 8:16Speaker 3: I don't want that either. Unless it's like Dak and
- 8:18Speaker 3: CeeDee Lamb when they were balling.
- 8:20Speaker 1: And you've got to give me a quarterback who I
- 8:23Speaker 1: know every week is going to ball. For Justin Jefferson.
- 8:25Speaker 3: Yeah, if I'm giving you Justin Jefferson, you need to
- 8:27Speaker 3: give me an A quarterback.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Give me like a Joe Burrow. If you go Joe
- 8:32Speaker 1: Burrow and Coker, okay, we can talk. But that's a
- 8:35Speaker 1: terrible offer.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Justin Jefferson.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I'd laugh at that offer, to be honest with you.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Got another quarterback situation. Says, who do I start at quarterback?
- 8:42Speaker 1: I got three. Jared Goff, Caleb Williams, or Bryce Young.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Who can I safely drop? Who's going to start, and
- 8:50Speaker 1: then who's going to drop?
- 8:50Speaker 3: I don't want to give up my start and sit
- 8:53Speaker 3: this week, but I would start Jared Goff.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Well, you just kind of gave it up. I mean,
- 8:59Speaker 1: I think I kind of know now. I know. I
- 9:00Speaker 1: was just like, what?
- 9:01Speaker 3: But I know the Packers defense looked good last week
- 9:06Speaker 3: against the Cowboys, but the Cowboys are awful. I don't
- 9:08Speaker 3: trust the Packers' defense yet. They have a lot of injuries.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Micah Parsons is coming back. I think that Lions-Packers game
- 9:14Speaker 3: is going to be like 50-50.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Oh, high scoring?
- 9:17Speaker 3: So if anybody, I'm keeping Jared Goff, and I'm keeping
- 9:20Speaker 3: Caleb Williams, and I'm dropping Bryce Young. Not that I
- 9:23Speaker 3: don't think Bryce Young is good. I just don't trust
- 9:24Speaker 3: him yet.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I agree. I think out of the three,
- 9:26Speaker 1: I'm dropping Bryce Young pretty easily. Caleb is back, and
- 9:30Speaker 1: he looked like he was fully healthy and fully back.
- 9:33Speaker 1: He was slinging it in the first half. And he
- 9:36Speaker 1: threw a touchdown and all this stuff. And then they
- 9:38Speaker 1: decided just to run the football. And it kind of
- 9:40Speaker 1: cost him because, I mean, the Falcons got back into it.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I didn't watch any of that game. But, yeah,
- 9:43Speaker 3: I saw the score.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Now, Kalem looked really good. And so I think he
- 9:46Speaker 1: was like 12 for 12, like starting the game. So,
- 9:48Speaker 1: I mean, he did really well. And then they just
- 9:51Speaker 1: didn't really need to pour it on at the end.
- 9:53Speaker 1: So he didn't have giant stats. But he's going to eventually,
- 9:57Speaker 1: you know, the hamstring is going to get to the
- 9:58Speaker 1: point where he can run the football. to. He's going
- 10:00Speaker 1: to sneak a couple over. So Caleb's a good guy
- 10:03Speaker 1: to have. But I do agree with you this week.
- 10:06Speaker 1: I would probably go Jared Goff. I'm keeping Caleb and
- 10:09Speaker 1: I'm dropping Bryce Young. That's what I would do. Running
- 10:11Speaker 1: back situation, running back question. It says, who do I
- 10:14Speaker 1: start this week between Ollie Gordon and RJ Harvey, who
- 10:18Speaker 1: has had a couple of good games recently? So I'm
- 10:21Speaker 1: going to go with Gordon because he's the starter.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:24Speaker 1: I mean, and they had a bye last week, but
- 10:27Speaker 1: the game previous, he had a really nice game. It
- 10:30Speaker 1: was a nice guy to have if you picked him
- 10:32Speaker 1: up on the waiver wire, you know, once you heard
- 10:34Speaker 1: the A-chain was down, if you picked up Ollie Gordon,
- 10:35Speaker 1: that was good. I was just looking.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Listen, the Jets are the Jets. They're decent against the run.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Does that change anything at all? Not for me. Yeah,
- 10:46Speaker 3: I agree with you.
- 10:46Speaker 1: I'm going to go with the guy who I'm guaranteeing
- 10:48Speaker 1: is going to get touches over a guy who's not.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Because RJ Harvey could have a big game, or J.K.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Dobbins could have a big game.
- 10:53Speaker 1: You just don't know.
- 10:53Speaker 3: You just don't know.
- 10:54Speaker 1: And yeah, they're definitely figuring out R.J. Harvey a little
- 10:57Speaker 1: bit more, and they're involving him in the pass game.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I like all that, but do you trust Bo Nix
- 11:03Speaker 1: right now? Do you trust the Denver offense at all?
- 11:06Speaker 1: I don't.
- 11:06Speaker 2: No.
- 11:07Speaker 1: I don't at all. That's a good point. So I
- 11:08Speaker 1: would probably lean towards Ollie Gordon in that one. Final
- 11:11Speaker 1: question is a wide receiver question. Picked up Jeremy Bernard,
- 11:16Speaker 1: who is Aaron Rodgers' top target right now. Should I
- 11:19Speaker 1: start him over Jamison Williams from the Lions?
- 11:22Speaker 3: The only reason why I wouldn't is because I think
- 11:24Speaker 3: that game between the Packers and Lions is going to
- 11:26Speaker 3: be really high scoring.
- 11:28Speaker 1: There's only so many targets, though.
- 11:30Speaker 3: I understand. But to me, though, he could have a
- 11:33Speaker 3: couple big plays. Who are the Steelers playing?
- 11:36Speaker 1: The Saints over in London.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Oof.
- 11:38Speaker 3: That's tough. That's tough. The Saints are terrible. But this
- 11:41Speaker 3: could be... The Saints can't stop the run.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Saints are coming off a big win. What are you
- 11:44Speaker 1: talking about, terrible?
- 11:45Speaker 3: The Saints are terrible. But I hate those 638s. Just
- 11:48Speaker 3: because it's a 6.30 a.m. game, I wouldn't start him.
- 11:50Speaker 2: What?
- 11:51Speaker 3: I hate those games.
- 11:52Speaker 1: What does that have to do with anything?
- 11:53Speaker 3: I hate playing guys on Thursday, and I hate playing
- 11:55Speaker 3: guys at 6.30.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Okay, well then, I mean, 10 o'clock spot, that's it.
- 11:58Speaker 3: I just think it's bad luck.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 12:00Speaker 3: So I would start Jamison Williams.
- 12:02Speaker 1: I do think that Lions game is going to be
- 12:04Speaker 1: pretty decent, pretty high scoring, and he, to me, is
- 12:08Speaker 1: a more established threat than Bernard is yet. I don't know.
- 12:11Speaker 3: It's only been two games.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, he's looked good, but I don't know
- 12:15Speaker 1: if I'd fully invest in him yet. I'd wait a week.
- 12:18Speaker 1: and probably go Williams one more week and then see.
- 12:20Speaker 1: If he does another big week, so be it. Then
- 12:22Speaker 1: he's your guy. But as of right now, I'd probably
- 12:24Speaker 1: pump the brakes a little bit. All right, let's get
- 12:26Speaker 1: to our starts and sits for the week. I already
- 12:28Speaker 1: know who your starter is. I did ruin it. My quarterback.
- 12:30Speaker 3: I did ruin it.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Can't believe it.
- 12:32Speaker 3: But I'm going to go with Jared Goff. Jared Goff
- 12:34Speaker 3: and Jordan Love, to be honest with you. They're playing
- 12:37Speaker 3: against each other. Big in-division game in that division because
- 12:40Speaker 3: they're both 4-2, so they both need to win. I
- 12:43Speaker 3: think that game's going to be really high scoring. In Detroit, too,
- 12:46Speaker 3: so it's no weather.
- 12:48Speaker 1: My start this week may surprise you a little bit.
- 12:52Speaker 1: I'm going to go with Kyler Murray. Oh, wow. So
- 12:55Speaker 1: they're taking on Indianapolis because Minnesota is coming off a bye. Indianapolis, ooh,
- 13:00Speaker 1: I want to talk about sellers. They're about ready, too.
- 13:03Speaker 3: I remember they were one of my teams that was
- 13:04Speaker 3: going to suck this year. beginning of the year i
- 13:07Speaker 3: said that oh you remember.
- 13:09Speaker 1: I remember i also said that the vikings were going
- 13:11Speaker 1: to be undefeated at.
- 13:12Speaker 3: This point okay you didn't say that i mean did
- 13:14Speaker 3: i i don't.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Remember uh but anyway uh i do think kyler is
- 13:18Speaker 1: going to have a big game they're coming off a
- 13:19Speaker 1: bye he looked good in the game right before uh
- 13:22Speaker 1: they went on by he's starting to figure out the offense.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Crushing him and i'm like he doesn't have justin jefferson
- 13:26Speaker 3: just jefferson's their whole offense like their whole offense revolves
- 13:29Speaker 3: around justin jefferson if you don't have him it kills you.
- 13:31Speaker 1: It's tough So I do like Kyler Murray this week.
- 13:34Speaker 1: I think he's going to have a good game against
- 13:35Speaker 1: the Colts. Who's your sit?
- 13:36Speaker 3: Staying at that game.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Daniel... Okay.
- 13:39Speaker 3: Jones.
- 13:39Speaker 1: This makes me feel— Okay, every week I felt like
- 13:42Speaker 1: you were talking about Mike Gusecki. Now every week you're
- 13:44Speaker 1: talking about Daniel Jones. I think he was your Sid
- 13:46Speaker 1: last week.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Well, I was right.
- 13:47Speaker 1: And you crushed him. I was right. But you could
- 13:49Speaker 1: say that every week. I mean, he sucks.
- 13:50Speaker 3: He's got four touchdowns and six picks. He's atrocious.
- 13:54Speaker 1: No kidding. He's Daniel Jones. People go, what happened to
- 13:56Speaker 1: Daniel Jones?
- 13:57Speaker 3: Nothing.
- 13:57Speaker 1: This is who he is. He sucks.
- 13:59Speaker 3: He had a decent six weeks last year. This is personal.
- 14:02Speaker 3: And they stupidly gave him a big contract coming off
- 14:05Speaker 3: an Achilles injury. And he's going against the best defense
- 14:08Speaker 3: in the league.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Yeah, of course. If you have Daniel Jones and are
- 14:11Speaker 1: playing him, you're a mess. Sucks. Okay, we got that.
- 14:15Speaker 1: My sit this week, this again could come as a
- 14:18Speaker 1: little bit of a surprise, but I am calling for
- 14:22Speaker 1: the upset this week. I am picking the Seahawks to
- 14:26Speaker 1: defeat the Chiefs.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 14:28Speaker 1: The undefeated Chiefs.
- 14:29Speaker 3: This is a Think about this, right? You got the
- 14:31Speaker 3: NFC North, who you could have three teams make the playoffs.
- 14:34Speaker 3: And then you got the NFC West, where you have
- 14:36Speaker 3: three teams that need to make the playoffs. But the
- 14:38Speaker 3: Seahawks and the Rams are kind of in must-win right
- 14:41Speaker 3: now because they need to keep up with the Niners
- 14:44Speaker 3: and the NFC North.
- 14:45Speaker 1: It's going to be tough.
- 14:46Speaker 3: Two and four.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Yeah, they have a big lead right now. And so
- 14:49Speaker 1: the Seahawks are back against the wall. And so they
- 14:53Speaker 1: got to win this game. The Chiefs are, I believe,
- 14:57Speaker 1: a little bit of a soft undefeated right now. I
- 14:59Speaker 1: don't fully think that they're killing it.
- 15:02Speaker 3: I think the Chiefs are... one of the best teams
- 15:05Speaker 3: in the league. But I don't think there's any great
- 15:06Speaker 3: teams in the league.
- 15:07Speaker 1: They're a well-coached, well-played team.
- 15:10Speaker 3: But this isn't the Chiefs from five years ago.
- 15:12Speaker 1: No, they're not dominating anybody. And give them all the
- 15:16Speaker 1: credit in the world. But they don't have to. They're
- 15:17Speaker 1: winning games. Kenneth Walker is the MVP. He's the MVP
- 15:20Speaker 1: right now. So my guy's unbelievable. But are they winning
- 15:23Speaker 1: games because of Patrick Mahomes? And look at his fantasy stats.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Are they crazy? No. Not really? No.
- 15:29Speaker 3: To his credit, they have no weapons whatsoever. I mean,
- 15:32Speaker 3: Rasheed Rice is not playing. Xavier Worthy is whatever. Travis
- 15:35Speaker 3: Kelsey is old. They have one guy who's just dominating
- 15:39Speaker 3: the league right now.
- 15:40Speaker 1: In Kenneth Walker. So you're taking on a very tough
- 15:42Speaker 1: Seattle defense. Seattle's, like you said, kind of in a
- 15:45Speaker 1: must-win territory. I think Seattle wins the game, and I
- 15:47Speaker 1: don't think Patrick Mahomes has a big game.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Wow.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Write it down.
- 15:51Speaker 3: I'm going to write that down. Okay.
- 15:53Speaker 1: I hope you're right.
- 15:53Speaker 3: I can't stand the Chiefs.
- 15:54Speaker 1: All right. Ruddy Back, who's your start?
- 15:56Speaker 3: This guy was kind of a bust last week, but
- 15:58Speaker 3: the Steelers have a good run defense. Now they're at
- 16:00Speaker 3: home against the Panthers. I don't know if Mayfield's going
- 16:03Speaker 3: to play or not, but Bucky Irvin, I think. He's
- 16:05Speaker 3: still getting the touches. They kind of scared you a
- 16:07Speaker 3: couple weeks ago with the Sean Tucker crap, but luckily
- 16:10Speaker 3: he's hurt.
- 16:11Speaker 1: So.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Luckily?
- 16:13Speaker 1: Why is it luckily?
- 16:14Speaker 3: Because if you have Bucky Irvin.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Oh, you do. I do. So you're saying luckily dessert?
- 16:19Speaker 1: That's one of the best stuff. Yeah.
- 16:20Speaker 3: So I'll start Bucky Irvin.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Guess what, sweetie? I'm picking Bucky Irvin.
- 16:25Speaker 3: There we go.
- 16:26Speaker 1: We should really talk about this next time. Well, you know,
- 16:28Speaker 1: if we're both in on the guy, he better be
- 16:31Speaker 1: good this week. Yeah, no, he's coming off a dud
- 16:34Speaker 1: last week. I mean, it was a bad week for Bucky.
- 16:36Speaker 1: And you got to learn from that. You know, I mean,
- 16:38Speaker 1: the Bucks got to do better. And so I think
- 16:40Speaker 1: Bucky has a big game against the Panthers as well.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Who's your sit? If we have the same sit, we're
- 16:44Speaker 1: in trouble.
- 16:44Speaker 3: I like that you have the Seahawks beating the Chiefs,
- 16:48Speaker 3: but I don't like Emmanuel Wilson. He had two good weeks.
- 16:52Speaker 3: He had one good week for me. We got 20 points.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Then he got 12. Then he had five. And now
- 16:57Speaker 3: it's like, all right, that Emmanuel Wilson run is over.
- 17:00Speaker 3: So I'm sitting him against the Chiefs.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I mean, until Zach Charbonnet comes back, their
- 17:05Speaker 1: running game is just terrible.
- 17:06Speaker 3: They look like idiots right now for getting rid of
- 17:07Speaker 3: Kenneth Walker.
- 17:08Speaker 1: It was not a good move.
- 17:09Speaker 3: It wasn't a good move. The NFL, the days of,
- 17:12Speaker 3: you could draft a running back anywhere.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Or you could play anybody.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Or you could play anybody. Not true. Clearly not true anymore.
- 17:18Speaker 1: My sit this week is a guy that I was
- 17:21Speaker 1: pretty thankful I had last week. He didn't, in the end,
- 17:23Speaker 1: help me that much. But he was able to score
- 17:26Speaker 1: a touchdown against your Giants. I'm talking about Alvin Kamara. Now,
- 17:31Speaker 1: Alvin is a hit away from being done for the season.
- 17:33Speaker 1: You saw in that game he went down with a
- 17:35Speaker 1: back injury or something like that. He was injured at
- 17:38Speaker 1: some point, but he did come back in to his credit.
- 17:40Speaker 1: I just, at this point, he's like.
- 17:43Speaker 3: The Saints stink. It's embarrassing that Giants lost that game.
- 17:46Speaker 1: No, it's not good. The Saints are terrible.
- 17:47Speaker 3: It's not good. That's as bad as... Losing at home
- 17:49Speaker 3: like that, the Saints are bad.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Yeah, so I don't trust Kamara. I'm kind of like
- 17:55Speaker 1: him and Mike Evans. They're always hurt. They're always banged up.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Dude, every time Mike Evans catches the ball... He grabs something.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Yeah. And it's so odd. And he's so good. He's
- 18:04Speaker 1: so good. I trust Mike Evans way more than I
- 18:06Speaker 1: trust Kamara at this point.
- 18:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:08Speaker 1: But it's tough to trust him and put him in
- 18:10Speaker 1: every week.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Because they're always hurt.
- 18:11Speaker 1: They're going to go down at some point. So, yeah,
- 18:13Speaker 1: I don't like Kamara. And 630 game. Oh. I can't
- 18:17Speaker 1: do it. Never start. Can't do it.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Never start.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Wide receiver, who's your start?
- 18:21Speaker 3: I'm going with two guys because I couldn't decide.
- 18:22Speaker 1: You can't do that.
- 18:23Speaker 3: But they're on the same team. Christian Watson and Matthew Golden.
- 18:26Speaker 3: At Detroit.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Was I right about Golden? You were right about Golden.
- 18:30Speaker 3: I think Christian Watson, who should have had a touchdown,
- 18:32Speaker 3: by the way, caught the ball over the middle, untouched,
- 18:34Speaker 3: and ran, and they called it dead.
- 18:37Speaker 1: But then he did catch a touchdown. Remember that one?
- 18:39Speaker 1: He didn't last week? He catch a touchdown? Did he?
- 18:42Speaker 1: He may have. I can't remember.
- 18:43Speaker 3: But he should have had a big play over the middle.
- 18:45Speaker 3: They called it dead. So I think Christian Watson and
- 18:48Speaker 3: Matthew Golden go off against Detroit.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Wow. All right. A little worried about this. Oh, no.
- 18:55Speaker 1: My start, it may make sense, but it doesn't because
- 18:58Speaker 1: of what I said earlier. It's tough. At some point.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Jalen Waddle has to have a game.
- 19:06Speaker 3: You think so?
- 19:07Speaker 1: I mean.
- 19:08Speaker 3: And who would they play in the Cardinals, right?
- 19:09Speaker 1: So the Cardinals have given up the fourth most fantasy
- 19:12Speaker 1: points to wide receivers. And so I don't really think
- 19:15Speaker 1: it's going to be Cortland Sutton. At some point.
- 19:18Speaker 3: They gave up so much for Jalen Waddle.
- 19:19Speaker 1: That's what I mean. Like Sean Payton's got to figure
- 19:21Speaker 1: this out. And he's, you know, back in there. He's
- 19:23Speaker 1: calling plays, all that stuff. they got i i i
- 19:26Speaker 1: gotta imagine it's this week yeah if it's not this
- 19:29Speaker 1: week you're done.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Because i'm at the point too where if it's not
- 19:31Speaker 3: this week i'm gonna start benching him yeah i get
- 19:33Speaker 3: it douglas i totally get it because he's just i'm done.
- 19:36Speaker 1: I'm putting my name out there for jaylen why i
- 19:38Speaker 1: hope he gets he better do it yeah if not
- 19:40Speaker 1: he's reached.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Uh he's reached uh over 50 yards once this year.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Not good not good crazy yeah so this could be
- 19:47Speaker 1: the week for Jalen Waddell. We'll see. Who's your sit?
- 19:49Speaker 3: This is a guy I have, and I don't think
- 19:52Speaker 3: I'm going to start him.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Jalen Waddell? No.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Ever since they traded Marvin Harrison Jr., Michael Wilson has
- 19:58Speaker 3: been like MIA.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Which is weird.
- 19:59Speaker 3: Which is really weird.
- 20:00Speaker 1: We think he'd be more.
- 20:01Speaker 3: Yeah, and I know the Broncos don't have Patrick Sertan.
- 20:04Speaker 3: I don't know if he's playing on Sunday. I haven't
- 20:05Speaker 3: seen that he is. But I still would sit him.
- 20:07Speaker 3: Broncos defense is still really good. And even though it's
- 20:10Speaker 3: in Arizona, I'm going to sit Michael Wilson.
- 20:12Speaker 1: That's tough. My sit this week kind of goes along
- 20:16Speaker 1: with your quarterback sit. Colts are done, I think. So
- 20:20Speaker 1: Josh Downs to me.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Yeah, just drop them in the league.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Well, you should. Because you're taking on the best defense
- 20:25Speaker 1: in football in the Minnesota Vikings. That Colts, I mean,
- 20:29Speaker 1: I'd be worried about Jonathan Taylor, too.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Yeah, and I have him, which sucks. The thing with
- 20:33Speaker 3: Jonathan Taylor is if I'm the Colts and I'm smart,
- 20:36Speaker 3: you're not going to get a first-round pick for Jonathan Taylor.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Let's forget about it. 27 years old, big contract. But
- 20:42Speaker 3: we are seeing from Derrick Henry that you can hit
- 20:44Speaker 3: 30 and still be legit.
- 20:45Speaker 1: He's still great.
- 20:46Speaker 3: And he's still great. That being said, if I'm the Colts,
- 20:49Speaker 3: if I can get a second-round pick for Jonathan Taylor,
- 20:51Speaker 3: I'm trading him. Because you need to rebuild.
- 20:54Speaker 1: You know who needs him? Giants.
- 20:55Speaker 2: I know.
- 20:56Speaker 1: We'll see. Could you imagine?
- 20:57Speaker 3: Would you give up a two for Jonathan Taylor? They
- 21:00Speaker 3: only have five picks in the draft.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Uh-oh. I would... Uh-oh.
- 21:03Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 21:04Speaker 1: That's so tough, man.
- 21:05Speaker 3: That's so tough. But to me, yeah, I don't know.
- 21:09Speaker 3: I don't know what I would do. But if I'm
- 21:10Speaker 3: a team like, I don't know, the Texans, I would 100%
- 21:12Speaker 3: trade a pick for Jonathan Taylor. I'm all in this
- 21:15Speaker 3: year if I'm the Texans.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Well, they're not going to trade him in division, though.
- 21:19Speaker 1: That's the whole thing.
- 21:19Speaker 3: That's a good point. I didn't think about that. But
- 21:21Speaker 3: if I'm the Colts, I'm saying they don't have a
- 21:22Speaker 3: first-round pick this year. They'd give up two ones for
- 21:24Speaker 3: Swals Gardner, who's hurt again. So I would trade him
- 21:27Speaker 3: if I'm the Colts.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll see. But anyway, Josh Downs, not playing him.
- 21:30Speaker 1: He's done. Tight end, who's your start?
- 21:32Speaker 3: So I'm only starting him because Colby Parkinson's out for
- 21:37Speaker 3: the Rams and Devontae Adams is out for the Rams.
- 21:40Speaker 3: So you can't just throw to Puka Nakua. So Tyler
- 21:44Speaker 3: Higbee is my starter this week against the Raiders.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Just wait. My start this week is going to be
- 21:50Speaker 1: Dallas Goddard. Going against Dallas. So Dallas on Dallas.
- 21:54Speaker 3: Dallas on Dallas.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Why would I pick somebody who is playing on the Eagles,
- 21:59Speaker 1: who don't have Jalen Hurts anymore? I get all that.
- 22:03Speaker 1: But if I'm this quarterback, who am I throwing to
- 22:07Speaker 1: besides Devontae Smith? I got nobody, man. And I need
- 22:10Speaker 1: to dump the ball off, right? And so... The running
- 22:13Speaker 1: backs aren't good.
- 22:14Speaker 2: No.
- 22:14Speaker 1: There's nobody to throw to. So I got to imagine
- 22:17Speaker 1: he's going to get a lot of targets. That's the
- 22:19Speaker 1: only reason why I'm going with this because I don't
- 22:21Speaker 1: really trust him yet. But Dallas, again, Dallas stinks. Their
- 22:26Speaker 1: defense is terrible. And so if Philly has any chance,
- 22:29Speaker 1: I imagine they're going to do a lot of dump-offs
- 22:31Speaker 1: to Dallas Gardner. That's why I like him this week.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Who's your sit? Listen.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Dalton Schultz had that massive game a few weeks ago.
- 22:39Speaker 3: Hasn't really done anything since. And the one thing the
- 22:42Speaker 3: Giants defense.
- 22:42Speaker 1: I just dropped him. Yeah. Okay. So there you go.
- 22:45Speaker 3: And the one thing the Giants defense is surprisingly good at,
- 22:48Speaker 3: they kind of shut down tight ends. They shut down
- 22:50Speaker 3: Jawan Johnson last week. They shut down Trey McBride the
- 22:53Speaker 3: week before. So I'm not going to start Dalton Schultz
- 22:55Speaker 3: this week.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Okay. My sit this week... Oh, no. Is Tyler Higby.
- 22:59Speaker 3: Oh, you bastard.
- 23:00Speaker 1: That's right, buddy. No. That's right, buddy. Listen, Rams, I mean,
- 23:05Speaker 1: what else needs to be said? It's crazy what is
- 23:07Speaker 1: going on with the Rams. They are so injured. They
- 23:10Speaker 1: are so done. This is the team that was supposed
- 23:13Speaker 1: to go undefeated this season. Like, what the heck? Their
- 23:16Speaker 1: running game is top-notch. Kyron Williams is having a phenomenal year.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Blake Horne is getting more touches.
- 23:21Speaker 3: Kyron Williams did just come out and kind of criticize
- 23:24Speaker 3: the coaching staff, though.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Well, they're not going to do anything about it. I mean,
- 23:27Speaker 1: he's that good.
- 23:27Speaker 3: I know, but I wonder if they'll give him less touches.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Could be. Well, listen, if you have Blake Horne, then
- 23:31Speaker 1: maybe it's starting to benefit you a little bit. But
- 23:34Speaker 1: you look at their passing game, and I don't– I mean,
- 23:37Speaker 1: to me, it's just not very good.
- 23:39Speaker 3: Well, is Stafford showing his age?
- 23:41Speaker 1: He kind of is. I mean, he's doing some weird
- 23:43Speaker 1: stuff that I'm just like, ooh, that's not good. And
- 23:45Speaker 1: so I know that that's going to be kind of
- 23:48Speaker 1: the darling pick. You obviously are all in on Tyler Higby.
- 23:51Speaker 3: I'm starting.
- 23:52Speaker 1: The greatest tight end of all time.
- 23:53Speaker 3: I never said that. I just said I think he's
- 23:56Speaker 3: going to.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Have a good game. I'm just like, the Rams, I
- 23:58Speaker 1: think they're in trouble. I think they may lose this
- 24:00Speaker 1: game against the Raiders.
- 24:01Speaker 3: That would be crazy.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Wouldn't that be crazy?
- 24:02Speaker 3: That would be crazy. Yeah.
- 24:04Speaker 1: So we'll see what happens.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Mark, hear me out. If Dark doesn't get hurt in
- 24:08Speaker 3: week two, they beat the Rams in that game. And
- 24:11Speaker 3: the Rams would be one and five right now.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Wait, who?
- 24:14Speaker 3: When the Giants played the Rams.
- 24:15Speaker 1: But we're not talking about that. I know.
- 24:16Speaker 3: I'm just saying. What the heck are you talking about?
- 24:18Speaker 3: I'm just saying the Rams haven't been good all year.
- 24:20Speaker 3: That's all I'm saying.
- 24:21Speaker 1: No, I realize that. Anyway, sit Tyler.
- 24:23Speaker 3: That'd be crazy. If the Raiders win this game, that'd
- 24:27Speaker 3: be pretty crazy.
- 24:28Speaker 1: The Raiders are playing good.
- 24:29Speaker 3: If they lose the game, I wonder if they start
- 24:31Speaker 3: to think, okay, we've lost three in a row. Do
- 24:33Speaker 3: we start Fernando now?
- 24:34Speaker 1: I mean, they only lost the Bills by three points. Yeah.
- 24:37Speaker 1: And that was a competitive game. So, I mean, the
- 24:39Speaker 1: way the Rams are playing right now, all the injuries.
- 24:42Speaker 3: I think they may win that game.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Which would be unbelievable. It really would be unbelievable. All right.
- 24:46Speaker 1: So hopefully, you know, your guys stay healthy and hopefully
- 24:49Speaker 1: you go out there and get a win.
