- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Bea Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two times People's Choice Award winning podcast. Hello everybody,
- 0:13Speaker 1: we are scrubbing in.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Do you feel any different?
- 0:18Speaker 1: Are you talking about age wise?
- 0:19Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 0:20Speaker 1: No, although I do feel really tired, Like I don't
- 0:25Speaker 1: think that's anything to do with age, maybe, like maybe
- 0:28Speaker 1: i'd be less tired in my at twenty seven. But yeah,
- 0:33Speaker 1: I do feel tired, but that's it mentally feel great? Sharp? Sure?
- 0:39Speaker 1: Sharp is a dull knife.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Sharp is a tool.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Chest, a chest? What is it a tool? I don't know.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Sharp is a You could be the sharpest knife in
- 0:49Speaker 3: the drawer, sharpest knife for the but you can't be
- 0:52Speaker 3: as sharp as a tool chest.
- 0:54Speaker 1: I mean that might actually be accurate to how sharp
- 0:56Speaker 1: I feel a tool chest. How are you doing?
- 1:01Speaker 2: I'm tired too? Thank you for asking? You know this
- 1:03Speaker 2: daylight savings I thought would make me feel more refreshed.
- 1:06Speaker 1: It's supposed to.
- 1:07Speaker 2: It has not.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Why I don't know? You need more than just an hour?
- 1:11Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:12Speaker 1: I need just like you need to fall back like five.
- 1:17Speaker 1: It is so weird. Though I got home yesterday, we
- 1:19Speaker 1: went to so we had my birthday on Thursday, Halloween
- 1:24Speaker 1: party Friday. Saturday, we chilled and then yesterday Haley and
- 1:27Speaker 1: I went to Vegas for the day and we set
- 1:30Speaker 1: our alarms for five, so it was like a rough
- 1:32Speaker 1: wake up, and I thought, well, we get an extra hour,
- 1:34Speaker 1: so'll I feel like six, which is still not great
- 1:38Speaker 1: for me. But then I got home and it was
- 1:41Speaker 1: six and it was pitch black, and I was trying
- 1:44Speaker 1: to wait until nine to go to sleep because I'm
- 1:47Speaker 1: so tired, and so I was just watching the clock
- 1:49Speaker 1: waiting till it was nine.
- 1:50Speaker 2: And then once it hit nine, you I got.
- 1:52Speaker 1: I got did my routine and got in bed. Yeah.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Nice.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I could have gone earlier, but I was scared I'd
- 1:57Speaker 1: wake up in the middle of the nine.
- 1:59Speaker 2: You know what the problem with me is?
- 2:01Speaker 1: Tell me.
- 2:01Speaker 2: I got into this new show. It's not a new show,
- 2:03Speaker 2: but it was new for me. It's spoiler alert. It's
- 2:05Speaker 2: called The Girlfriend.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Oh, I haven't.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Watched it, and I became so obsessed with it. Robbie
- 2:11Speaker 2: was out after the first episode. He was like, it's
- 2:13Speaker 2: just like not realistic. I'm like, it's TV anyway, So
- 2:16Speaker 2: he was out. So it was me on my own
- 2:18Speaker 2: and me on my own. She gets her done, and
- 2:22Speaker 2: I had one app like I basically spent. I was
- 2:25Speaker 2: up till eleven pm last night finishing the girlfriend my
- 2:28Speaker 2: own fault.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, well so you watched the whole thing? Yeah?
- 2:33Speaker 2: I finished?
- 2:34Speaker 1: How was it so good? I was going to get
- 2:36Speaker 1: into it? So maybe Haley's out of town this week,
- 2:38Speaker 1: so maybe, y'all.
- 2:39Speaker 2: It's a great one to get into solo.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Okay, yes? Is it scary though?
- 2:44Speaker 2: No, that's why I didn't. I don't really like suspense
- 2:47Speaker 2: like scary. It's more like campy.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, yeah, all right, I'll give it a shot.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I don't know that you and I aligned fully on
- 2:53Speaker 1: our TV shows, but I'll give it a shot.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Okay.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I did watch Grey's Anatomy though. I am all caught up,
- 3:01Speaker 1: and I'm very happy to see Sophia Bush back in
- 3:04Speaker 1: action again.
- 3:06Speaker 4: Although spoiler alert, I if you would have told me
- 3:10Speaker 4: ever in the history of watching Grayce that I would
- 3:13Speaker 4: be watching Teddy as the one hooking up with Sopia Bush,
- 3:16Speaker 4: I feel no way.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not the person I expected.
- 3:23Speaker 5: And she's still all nervous about it. Teddy, but she's
- 3:25Speaker 5: she's going there.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I have a bad feeling she's gonna get really invested,
- 3:30Speaker 1: and then Sophia Bush's character is gonna.
- 3:32Speaker 5: Because she's married Die.
- 3:37Speaker 1: I don't know. That's how they always do it. They
- 3:39Speaker 1: did Teddy dirty with Henry. I'm just like, are they
- 3:41Speaker 1: going to recircle back? And then she goes back to Owen.
- 3:44Speaker 1: I cannot, I need her, no one to just be done.
- 3:47Speaker 1: I'm over it. They've been back and forth for twenty seasons. Basically.
- 3:51Speaker 5: No, but at a certain point, aren't they each other's endgame?
- 3:55Speaker 1: Yeah? No, they missed their opportunity. We're past that. Perhaps,
- 3:59Speaker 1: so I'm rooting I guess for Cast and so Teddy.
- 4:02Speaker 5: And you're rooting for Owen and his ex that he
- 4:05Speaker 5: walked off with at the end of the episode.
- 4:08Speaker 1: I guess I don't care. I don't care.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Do you care about the Dodgers?
- 4:16Speaker 1: I do.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Did you watch the game we weren't done talking about? Sorry,
- 4:24Speaker 2: I just get bored.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Well, that's you talk about Joe's that none of us watch,
- 4:28Speaker 1: but we try to act interested for a whole conversation.
- 4:32Speaker 5: Show is called scrubbing in after all.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I actually don't know if there's anything else to that
- 4:37Speaker 1: I don't care about. I thought something like a little
- 4:39Speaker 1: more dramatic. Was gonna happen to Link.
- 4:41Speaker 5: Was that they're doing the thing on grays where certain
- 4:45Speaker 5: cast members get the week off. Yes, save the network money.
- 4:49Speaker 1: It's bugging me Joe.
- 4:51Speaker 5: Why would Joe have not been there? When Link returns
- 4:53Speaker 5: to the hospital, it makes zero sense. Didn't even see
- 4:56Speaker 5: her face, not at once.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Amelia is going through whatever she's going to through, we
- 5:00Speaker 1: don't see her. I guess we get home YEP.
- 5:03Speaker 5: Isn't that interesting? Like, I don't mind give the doc.
- 5:05Speaker 5: You have so much cast, you can give them weeks off.
- 5:07Speaker 5: But this one was poorly timed. I thought, well, it's.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Also like have them shoot a scene from the next.
- 5:13Speaker 5: The whole episode. Oh, I think that's the issue.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Well, they need to lessen the cast, I think, I
- 5:19Speaker 1: think because I don't think we ever had that problem
- 5:21Speaker 1: with with watching the old cast. You saw them in
- 5:25Speaker 1: every episode, which, by the way, our friend Brittany is watching,
- 5:27Speaker 1: and she was at my birthday dinner and she just
- 5:30Speaker 1: watched the Shooter episode, which I have to say her
- 5:33Speaker 1: two of my favorite episodes from Grey's Anatomy history. I
- 5:36Speaker 1: was pacing my room when they were on. I remember
- 5:38Speaker 1: it so specifically, and so she comes up and we're
- 5:41Speaker 1: talking about it, and I go, oh, my gosh, Tanya,
- 5:43Speaker 1: britt just watched the shooting episodes and she goes, does
- 5:47Speaker 1: Derek die before or after those episodes? And Britt's like,
- 5:52Speaker 1: he dies.
- 5:55Speaker 2: That's not how it went down.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 5:58Speaker 2: It's not in vouch because I didn't have a sip
- 6:01Speaker 2: of alcohol and everybody else did. I didn't either know
- 6:05Speaker 2: you had wine.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Okay, but I was very sad.
- 6:07Speaker 2: I'm just saying that gives me a leg up. Brittany
- 6:10Speaker 2: said she just watched the shooter episode and she said,
- 6:13Speaker 2: I was not prepared for that, like I am prepared
- 6:16Speaker 2: for Derek's death. She's she prompted Derek.
- 6:19Speaker 1: She did not say that. She did not.
- 6:22Speaker 2: She did not call her right now tell her to
- 6:26Speaker 2: set the scene. She brought up Derek's death in the
- 6:29Speaker 2: in the thing.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I think she said, I was so scared that Derek
- 6:31Speaker 1: was going to die.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Maybe okay, maybe that's what she said.
- 6:35Speaker 1: But she almost died in that episode.
- 6:37Speaker 2: So so she brought up Derek's death and I said, oh,
- 6:40Speaker 2: does Derek die? I didn't realize Derek dad after the
- 6:43Speaker 2: shooter episode. It's a very normal.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Thing to say. He died for seasons after the shooter episode,
- 6:50Speaker 1: which is crazy.
- 6:52Speaker 5: But the point that say, the point stands your story
- 6:54Speaker 5: in Becca story are the same. You spoiled Derek's death.
- 6:57Speaker 5: But what I'm saying.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Is Brittany brought up she had I wouldn't have mentioned
- 7:01Speaker 2: Derek Seth had she not brought up in the sentence,
- 7:04Speaker 2: but she.
- 7:04Speaker 6: Said I was scared Derek was gonna die, which was
- 7:06Speaker 6: a huge storyline of that on the shooter.
- 7:12Speaker 2: It was a mistake. I could even come back from it.
- 7:15Speaker 2: I literally it was just like deer in headlights. And
- 7:17Speaker 2: then I was like we all just.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Like stared at each other because I was thinking, like
- 7:21Speaker 1: how can I salvage this for her? And then I
- 7:23Speaker 1: couldn't come up with anything but neither.
- 7:25Speaker 2: I was just like I did tell her comes back
- 7:27Speaker 2: in her dreams for COVID, like.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I told her of her text. I go, I prompted
- 7:33Speaker 1: Tanya to tell you say that so that you would
- 7:36Speaker 1: think that was going to happen. She didn't believe it.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Yeah, but in all fairness, and Robbie even came to
- 7:43Speaker 2: my defense. He was like, I've never watched Gray's Anatomy
- 7:45Speaker 2: in my life, and I knew Derek Shepherd died.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Because he's a scrubber.
- 7:50Speaker 2: No, he was in store combos just because it was
- 7:52Speaker 2: like a pop culture moment. It was Yeah, so deep
- 7:56Speaker 2: down Brittany knew I didn't spoil anything.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Oh wow, you really so.
- 8:03Speaker 2: That's right.
- 8:04Speaker 1: But anyway, she has a long journey ahead.
- 8:07Speaker 5: I'm enjoying this season.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Okay, it's fine, it's fine. I failed the same I
- 8:12Speaker 1: felt about it for.
- 8:14Speaker 5: I'm gonna say it's slightly better than fine.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Them bringing Sophia Sophia cars Sophia bush Back is salvaging.
- 8:23Speaker 1: That's helping me personally. But yeah, anyways, Dodgers.
- 8:29Speaker 2: I feel like we didn't talk about your birthday.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Oh well you Dodgers. Well, let's go back to your birthday. Okay,
- 8:37Speaker 1: let's go back to my birthday. My birthday was great.
- 8:41Speaker 1: My sister and her girlfriend flew in from Denver, and
- 8:45Speaker 1: so my youngest sister, Hank and so he went to
- 8:48Speaker 1: the spa and Tanya met us there and we had
- 8:50Speaker 1: a cute little pool day.
- 8:53Speaker 2: They introduced me to the most fun game I have
- 8:55Speaker 2: played ever, and I want to play it this week.
- 8:58Speaker 5: We should try it right now? Yeah, no, right.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Out, Maybe Thursday episode or maybe Thursday our designated game days.
- 9:08Speaker 1: We moved on to from advice.
- 9:13Speaker 2: I played after your Birthday. I played that game every
- 9:15Speaker 2: single day since, and I'm having a ball.
- 9:18Speaker 1: So it's basically, if you know the game Wavelength, you
- 9:21Speaker 1: know the game, it's like you basically, this will be
- 9:24Speaker 1: a Thursday episode. I'll explain it. But it's a very
- 9:26Speaker 1: simple game. But there's a really funny story associated with
- 9:30Speaker 1: Tonya playing it for the first time because.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Well, I didn't understand the concept.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Should I is it worth giving a rundown of it?
- 9:39Speaker 1: Or do I wait? Do we actually thirst? Okay, we'll wait.
- 9:42Speaker 1: But anyway, so we played the game, we ate food,
- 9:44Speaker 1: we lay by the pool. It was a very hot
- 9:46Speaker 1: day in La that day.
- 9:47Speaker 2: It was like one hundred degrees.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Yeah, so if you're having fall weather, just no, bless up,
- 9:52Speaker 1: bless up. And then we all got massages, which was
- 9:56Speaker 1: really lovely, and then everyone came for a dinner to
- 10:00Speaker 1: celebrate my birthday at a restaurant called Lolo's. Lolo It's
- 10:05Speaker 1: a little wine bar and it was really special. I
- 10:07Speaker 1: did cry. I cried a lot on my birthday. But yeah,
- 10:10Speaker 1: like it felt like you know the song clean by
- 10:14Speaker 1: Taylor swift. It's like you it was almost like a
- 10:17Speaker 1: symbolic release of letting go and it's like moving forward. Yeah,
- 10:24Speaker 1: so I did. I did cry, show a lot of tears.
- 10:27Speaker 1: I also started my period that day, so it was
- 10:29Speaker 1: it was tough. And then the one thing I was saying,
- 10:33Speaker 1: we did the Halloween party the next day on Halloween,
- 10:36Speaker 1: and I definitely felt the season of like the shift
- 10:40Speaker 1: of life of people having kids, because it was since
- 10:43Speaker 1: it was on Halloween, people had to you know, they
- 10:45Speaker 1: were like trigger treating or doing things and weren't able
- 10:47Speaker 1: to come. And so I really was like, oh, there's
- 10:50Speaker 1: that shift that people you feel a little more like
- 10:54Speaker 1: you talk about, oh, life changes, but you don't really
- 10:56Speaker 1: feel it till certain moments. Until I felt I was like, oh,
- 10:59Speaker 1: this is a shift, you know if you just did well, yeah,
- 11:02Speaker 1: I mean just like it. Because it was a moment
- 11:04Speaker 1: of noticing specifically my friends that were like not able
- 11:09Speaker 1: to be there because of this new life season of
- 11:12Speaker 1: having kids. And I think planning a Halloween party after
- 11:17Speaker 1: my birthday the day after was a little much for me. Yeah,
- 11:20Speaker 1: I was very tired. Yeah, it was a lot, And
- 11:24Speaker 1: so I told Haylee, I was like if I think
- 11:26Speaker 1: maybe we just do the Christmas party, yeah, moving forward,
- 11:30Speaker 1: let other people do Halloween. Yeah, celebrate my birthday and
- 11:34Speaker 1: let it.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Yeah, because like you should either combine them, like you
- 11:38Speaker 2: should make your Halloween party a big party for your birthday, yes,
- 11:42Speaker 2: or do what you suggested with making it just Christmas.
- 11:46Speaker 1: That was what I said. I was like, either we
- 11:47Speaker 1: just do a joint thing and it's a Halloween birthday
- 11:50Speaker 1: celebration and that would be great, or just celebrate my
- 11:55Speaker 1: birthday if we want to dress up and do like
- 11:57Speaker 1: pumpkin carving with like an intimate group, do that, don't.
- 12:00Speaker 1: I don't need a big like Halloween thing. So but
- 12:04Speaker 1: our costumes did? I have to say so. Years ago
- 12:12Speaker 1: when we did our Grinch costumes, which was actually a
- 12:14Speaker 1: Christmas party, we had like a special makeup artist do
- 12:20Speaker 1: like the prosthetics in our makeup. He's amazing. His name
- 12:22Speaker 1: is Celton, and he was like incredible. And so when
- 12:26Speaker 1: we were doing these Monsters inc Costumes, I thought, we,
- 12:30Speaker 1: I think we need to have someone do good makeup
- 12:32Speaker 1: because our costumes are so dy that we need something
- 12:39Speaker 1: to look shit. So he air in like two seconds
- 12:43Speaker 1: airbrushed Haley's foam board that had duct tape on it.
- 12:47Speaker 1: He just like airbrushed the eye and then made her
- 12:49Speaker 1: the pupil and it made it look so much better.
- 12:53Speaker 1: It's like, thank god we hired him. And so yeah,
- 12:57Speaker 1: her costume was just too foam boards with green duck
- 13:02Speaker 1: tape wrapped around. I thought it was good, I know,
- 13:05Speaker 1: but without him it'd be bad, trash. It would have
- 13:08Speaker 1: been trash. So he really had it come together. But
- 13:12Speaker 1: I had been in the makeup since eleven am.
- 13:15Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 13:16Speaker 1: I was bloated from my period, so I had tights
- 13:18Speaker 1: on and I put spanks over my tights because I
- 13:21Speaker 1: didn't have the energy to take off the tights again,
- 13:24Speaker 1: and input sinks on. So I was a level of
- 13:29Speaker 1: discomfort that I wouldn't wish on anyone.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Yeah, but you do have to suck it up for
- 13:32Speaker 2: Halloween sometimes.
- 13:33Speaker 1: And I did. Yeah, but like by the time it
- 13:37Speaker 1: was the party was over, I was like, I could
- 13:39Speaker 1: need everyone to go so I can take these clothes
- 13:41Speaker 1: off stat But yeah, it was. It was a good time.
- 13:46Speaker 1: And then Saturday we just were worthless. Watched the Dodgers game,
- 13:52Speaker 1: so fun, such a fun world series. I don't watch
- 13:55Speaker 1: baseball at all but the past two years I've watched
- 13:58Speaker 1: the World Series and this one was one of the most.
- 14:02Speaker 1: It made me go, oh, baseball isn't boring if it's
- 14:04Speaker 1: a good game.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Yeah, that's totally right. Like I always thought baseball was
- 14:08Speaker 2: so boring, and I've found myself the last this series
- 14:14Speaker 2: very invested as well.
- 14:15Speaker 1: How do you feel about these statements of No, I
- 14:18Speaker 1: love baseball loed for my whole life, and I understand
- 14:20Speaker 1: where you're coming from.
- 14:21Speaker 5: And I do think that the changes they've made in
- 14:22Speaker 5: recent years that you probably wouldn't notice as non fans
- 14:26Speaker 5: or casual fans, they've sped the game up a lot
- 14:28Speaker 5: and it's made it a lot more fun to watch. Well, though,
- 14:31Speaker 5: pitchclock you have to pitch within fifteen seconds of getting
- 14:34Speaker 5: that ball back. We're in the old days, good lord,
- 14:37Speaker 5: the player would step out of the box, he'd justice
- 14:39Speaker 5: batting gloves. Between every single pitch, players, the pitcher would
- 14:42Speaker 5: take a walk behind the mound, really think about that
- 14:44Speaker 5: next pitch. And the games we're getting to be three
- 14:46Speaker 5: and a half hours long. They are again that because
- 14:48Speaker 5: the commercials that Fox adds during the World Series, but
- 14:51Speaker 5: the game itself really moves because they have to pitch.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Yeah, and like now like the walk people. Yeah, like
- 14:57Speaker 2: before like they would intentionally walk people, but you have
- 14:59Speaker 2: to sit through for whatever how many pits to bad pitches,
- 15:03Speaker 2: so it takes up time. So I can just be like,
- 15:04Speaker 2: we're gonna walk him.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Go, I think they've done that. For a minute.
- 15:07Speaker 5: That's been but that's that is one of the things
- 15:09Speaker 5: that the game.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 15:11Speaker 5: Also I also limit visits to the mountain too. The
- 15:14Speaker 5: coach can constantly wait.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Was the you know the thing when the pitcher threatens
- 15:19Speaker 1: to throw the ball to second that's new too, because
- 15:22Speaker 1: or is it new that if if he does it
- 15:24Speaker 1: to three times?
- 15:25Speaker 5: Yes, that's new as well. Same thing same trying to
- 15:27Speaker 5: speed up the game. You cannot throw to first base
- 15:30Speaker 5: more than twice. If you do a third time, you can,
- 15:32Speaker 5: but you got to get him out otherwise they get
- 15:34Speaker 5: a free base.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Wow.
- 15:35Speaker 4: You know.
- 15:35Speaker 2: It was really sweet though, so I like really genuinely
- 15:39Speaker 2: got into it, and to the point where like I
- 15:41Speaker 2: put on the Dodger game one night before Robe even
- 15:43Speaker 2: got home from work and he saw on the TV
- 15:45Speaker 2: and he was like, are you watching baseball? And I
- 15:46Speaker 2: was like, yeah, I put it on don't tell any once,
- 15:49Speaker 2: like so not my brand. But we watched. We were
- 15:53Speaker 2: watching the seventh game, and we went over to his
- 15:55Speaker 2: brother's house and we're all watching together. And then when
- 15:59Speaker 2: they won. The minute they won, he had this like
- 16:02Speaker 2: look of like like such joy and glee in his
- 16:06Speaker 2: eyes and he like kissed me like with this look
- 16:08Speaker 2: that I've never seen before, and I was like, wow,
- 16:11Speaker 2: like he loves me being a part of this like
- 16:13Speaker 2: weird sports thing that he loves so much, you know,
- 16:17Speaker 2: And it made me like think twice about wanting to
- 16:20Speaker 2: be into sports.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Wow, it's powerful.
- 16:25Speaker 2: It was powerful. It was like this look in his
- 16:27Speaker 2: eye and I was like, I've never seen that before.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Just the Dodgers winning brought out the most joyful.
- 16:32Speaker 2: But it was the Dodgers winning and me being into
- 16:34Speaker 2: it and like being there and like experiencing it together.
- 16:37Speaker 1: It was a moment of that he loved to have
- 16:40Speaker 1: and that you were there watching with him.
- 16:42Speaker 2: Yes, Yes, that you cared.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Yes, So maybe you need to be into the football
- 16:47Speaker 1: games this year.
- 16:47Speaker 2: I don't know if I can get into football, but
- 16:49Speaker 2: baseball I could do again next year maybe, and basketball
- 16:52Speaker 2: I enjoy, so maybe I can watch those with him.
- 16:54Speaker 1: It's all that matters.
- 16:55Speaker 2: I Yeah, I don't think I can get there with football.
- 16:57Speaker 2: I've tried. I've tried to get it up with football.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Them. With the football thing though, is he's not just
- 17:01Speaker 1: watching his one team play a game every week. He's
- 17:05Speaker 1: watching everything because of the fantasy football thing. So you're
- 17:08Speaker 1: not getting like a one you're not rooting for one team.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Does he have a team?
- 17:14Speaker 2: No, he has his fantasy team.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Are you a KRM Bay fan?
- 17:17Speaker 5: Yes, I am, thank you for asking.
- 17:18Speaker 7: Probably.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Does it have like a main team, No, he doesn't.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Wow, whoever's on his fantasy team, which.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Is so interesting a collective. It's just a collection of
- 17:27Speaker 1: different players from different teams.
- 17:28Speaker 5: I think that's not uncommon though, people grew up in
- 17:31Speaker 5: La because there was not a team in La. Yeah
- 17:33Speaker 5: he was growing up.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Yeah, well the Lakers. He likes the Dodgers because.
- 17:37Speaker 5: They were here the whole time. The Rams last Yeah,
- 17:38Speaker 5: he was a kid.
- 17:39Speaker 1: And the Chargers were in San Diego just until recently
- 17:42Speaker 1: A wrecked. Yeah, it was really fun to watch this yeraries.
- 17:46Speaker 2: It was so fun and.
- 17:51Speaker 5: Buffering.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Well, I was thinking we should take a break and
- 17:55Speaker 2: then come back.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we should.
- 17:58Speaker 5: Tease what you're going to talk about when we come back,
- 18:01Speaker 5: just kind.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Of talking about six seven, because what does that tell you? Okay,
- 18:04Speaker 1: we'll be right back.
- 18:26Speaker 2: We're back.
- 18:26Speaker 1: We are back. So you and Robbie for Halloween, we're
- 18:29Speaker 1: six seven, Yes, not to be confused with sixty seven.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Yes. So I really wanted for because we did Glenda
- 18:37Speaker 2: and Alphaba the day the weekend before Halloween. So for Halloween,
- 18:40Speaker 2: I wanted to switch and me be Alphaba and Robbie
- 18:42Speaker 2: b Glinda. He was not a fan because we were
- 18:46Speaker 2: going trick or treating with the kids and the kids'
- 18:49Speaker 2: friends and the parents, and so it was just like
- 18:52Speaker 2: too much, like for him to walk around high heels
- 18:55Speaker 2: with like a blonde wig. It was just like too much.
- 18:57Speaker 2: So I was like, what's like a cool, fun, low
- 18:59Speaker 2: list Halloween costume. So I bought these big balloons, six
- 19:04Speaker 2: seven balloons, and we were six seven, And we surprised
- 19:09Speaker 2: the kids we like walked downstairs. One of them thought
- 19:13Speaker 2: we were super cool. One thought we were super lame.
- 19:17Speaker 2: But I will tell you when we were taking the
- 19:19Speaker 2: kids around trigger treating, every kid that walked by us
- 19:22Speaker 2: was like six because they were giant. They were like
- 19:25Speaker 2: these giant gold numbers. We're not low key about it.
- 19:28Speaker 1: No, they were six seven.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Yeah, we were, and I thought it was pretty cool.
- 19:35Speaker 1: I thought really cool. So can someone do you, now
- 19:39Speaker 1: that you've been six seven, can you describe what six
- 19:41Speaker 1: seven is?
- 19:42Speaker 5: It's like, so, so that's not really what it is.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Yeah, it is.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Well, if you look at it and it's perfect.
- 19:46Speaker 1: It is.
- 19:47Speaker 5: It's not. Look, I've been studying six seven for a
- 19:51Speaker 5: long time because my daughter has been into it for
- 19:52Speaker 5: a long time.
- 19:54Speaker 1: What is your research show?
- 19:56Speaker 5: Look, it kind of means nothing, and that's what they
- 19:58Speaker 5: love about it. That's the best part is there's really
- 20:01Speaker 5: no meaning to it and it's only described as meanings.
- 20:03Speaker 5: So so when the elders try to explain it to people,
- 20:07Speaker 5: because it doesn't really have a meeting. It comes from
- 20:09Speaker 5: the song Dude by Scroll and all that stuff, but
- 20:12Speaker 5: it went from there to a basketball player kind of
- 20:14Speaker 5: use it and then it cannot went viral out of
- 20:16Speaker 5: a basketball game doing the hand gesture for it, and
- 20:18Speaker 5: then it just exploded. But it doesn't mean anything.
- 20:21Speaker 1: But what I'm saying is what do they say it for?
- 20:24Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. Like, if I'm like, oh, do
- 20:25Speaker 2: you want to go like, do you want to have
- 20:27Speaker 2: sushi tonight? And he's like, ah, six seven, not.
- 20:29Speaker 5: How it's used. I promise you that's not how it's used.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Can we get alf the phone.
- 20:35Speaker 5: It's simply something funny to say, and when other people
- 20:38Speaker 5: say six seven or sixty seven or says something about
- 20:40Speaker 5: numerica like that, they all laugh and do it. It
- 20:44Speaker 5: doesn't it's not used conversationally, so like we can't.
- 20:49Speaker 1: We can't use it casually, like it's not for us to.
- 20:52Speaker 2: It's not a feeling that asked me how I'm feeling.
- 20:56Speaker 1: I think if that was what it meant, there would
- 20:59Speaker 1: have been a discription for a long time.
- 21:00Speaker 5: Ago, correct if that makes sense.
- 21:02Speaker 1: If it was like, oh, six seven like so.
- 21:04Speaker 5: So it's not I think that you.
- 21:06Speaker 1: I think because it sounds like.
- 21:10Speaker 5: Trying to look at the hand gestures you're trying to
- 21:13Speaker 5: explain some day unexplainable that.
- 21:15Speaker 6: Your day six, that's not your I feel like there's
- 21:19Speaker 6: more energy when they say like, well, I appreciated the effort.
- 21:30Speaker 1: I enjoyed my connect to the youth.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Yeah, I am the youth. Yes I am, I am
- 21:37Speaker 2: the youth of a nation.
- 21:38Speaker 1: M P O D.
- 21:42Speaker 2: I didn't even know what I was thinking.
- 21:45Speaker 3: With all due respect Tanya, but when the parents start
- 21:48Speaker 3: embracing this kind of thing, is this the.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Of the end?
- 21:53Speaker 5: Yeah? I've told this to my daughter recently because I said,
- 21:57Speaker 5: I said, just so you know, it's it's coming to
- 21:59Speaker 5: an answer. No, no, no, I think it's gonna go forever.
- 22:01Speaker 5: I'm like, trust me, millennials are about to ruin it
- 22:04Speaker 5: for you. And she's like, oh, you're right, that's what's
- 22:07Speaker 5: gonna happen.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Millennials and corporations are rooting this.
- 22:09Speaker 5: It's already happening. I was watching a baseball and O
- 22:11Speaker 5: six seven. My kids keeps doing six seven. I'm like,
- 22:13Speaker 5: this is when it starts to become mainstream, and that
- 22:15Speaker 5: when it's over.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Dang.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Two of the like really cute kids in his class
- 22:20Speaker 2: were also six seven, like the girl I think. I
- 22:23Speaker 2: was like, hey, girls, do you think they saw you?
- 22:25Speaker 1: They're like.
- 22:28Speaker 2: No, they're like that mom is so they were even
- 22:31Speaker 2: like oh my gosh, that's so cool.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Or they're like.
- 22:35Speaker 2: They're like his that mom, she she gets it, she
- 22:39Speaker 2: got it. Yeah, shes no cap.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Cap.
- 22:47Speaker 1: I mean, we had we had our things right. I
- 22:51Speaker 1: guess I don't the way the description of things like
- 22:56Speaker 1: there's not really a description for the things that the
- 22:59Speaker 1: youth are said in Ohio or whatever.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Yes, no, But the thing is, I think when we
- 23:05Speaker 2: were younger, their things didn't go viral, so it wasn't
- 23:07Speaker 2: like you know what I mean, Like we would play
- 23:09Speaker 2: Sonic and Mario Brothers, so we have like this lingo
- 23:11Speaker 2: that we would do, but nothing was like virals because
- 23:15Speaker 2: we didn't have viral access to viral activities and viral
- 23:20Speaker 2: that's true.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Our viral access is like what we saw in magazines
- 23:23Speaker 1: and like Vonda chats and juicy couture pants. Right, yeah, okay,
- 23:28Speaker 1: that's fair. So they have They're just they're just experiencing
- 23:31Speaker 1: it in a very different way.
- 23:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:34Speaker 5: Yeah, and I think that's part of the part of
- 23:36Speaker 5: the joy of it.
- 23:41Speaker 1: I like, I love Jenelfa. I think they're they're not judging,
- 23:45Speaker 1: they're not judging, and you know what, I think they're
- 23:47Speaker 1: ten not judging yet. They're not judging yet.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Why do you learn a little from jen Alpha? Okay, boomer.
- 23:59Speaker 5: Not a boomer?
- 24:00Speaker 2: Aha, what are you?
- 24:01Speaker 5: I'm an ex I'm gen.
- 24:02Speaker 1: X Robbie is gen xer. Yeah. Yeah, Jenatha's great And
- 24:07Speaker 1: I always think about when I would we would do
- 24:09Speaker 1: things in our youth and my parents are like, I
- 24:11Speaker 1: just don't get it. And now we're those stun age.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Of being like hot about you guys. I get it.
- 24:18Speaker 1: You don't get it, and that's what I love, because
- 24:22Speaker 1: you have to you gotta be a part. You gotta
- 24:24Speaker 1: try to understand, you have to be a part. So
- 24:27Speaker 1: you and I both did the bird theory on our partners. Yes,
- 24:34Speaker 1: did Robbie see the camera? Like, did he see you filming?
- 24:38Speaker 1: Because he was laughing so hard that time.
- 24:40Speaker 2: I tried to put it behind it was like I was,
- 24:42Speaker 2: it was behind my couch, behind his head, not my
- 24:45Speaker 2: best angle. I thought I was just going to use
- 24:47Speaker 2: the audio for the radio, but it was too funny,
- 24:50Speaker 2: so I was like, I'm gonna post this.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Oh, so did he see the camera though?
- 24:53Speaker 2: No, he didn't see that.
- 24:54Speaker 1: No, so he just had no idea what you were doing.
- 24:56Speaker 2: No, but his tone makes me feel like he knew
- 25:00Speaker 2: something was up.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Do you know what I mean?
- 25:02Speaker 2: Like with me, like there's always something up, and.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Robbie's pretty on line with the trends. Yeah, like he's
- 25:07Speaker 1: harder to prank because going on rank. Yeah, yeah, Haley
- 25:12Speaker 1: had no idea, and she was she was in the bath,
- 25:15Speaker 1: so I had set it up on the She like
- 25:17Speaker 1: couldn't see my phone, huh, And so I was I
- 25:21Speaker 1: was asking her if she saw the bird, and then
- 25:22Speaker 1: she starts telling me about a bird. No.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Hers is like way too innocent and sweet, I know.
- 25:28Speaker 1: So then I got locked in on what she was
- 25:30Speaker 1: telling me about the bird she was describing and then
- 25:34Speaker 1: she was like, was it in the front or the back?
- 25:36Speaker 1: And I was like, oh wait, what am I doing?
- 25:37Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I think if the roles were reversed and
- 25:40Speaker 2: he did the bird theory on me, I would literally
- 25:43Speaker 2: react so bad. Really yeah, because like we always have
- 25:47Speaker 2: this not like fight, but like every day at the
- 25:50Speaker 2: end of the day when we get home and we're
- 25:51Speaker 2: making dinner, we always ask each other, like He'll ask
- 25:53Speaker 2: me how my day was, and I'll go on about
- 25:56Speaker 2: my day. We talked about this in the morning, and
- 25:57Speaker 2: then I had this for lunch, and then Becca came
- 26:00Speaker 2: and we did the podcast. I went here, I did,
- 26:02Speaker 2: got my hair done. Oh, Tawny just said that, you know,
- 26:05Speaker 2: like I'll give him like a full play by play,
- 26:07Speaker 2: how was your day?
- 26:08Speaker 1: It was good?
- 26:11Speaker 2: What'd you do? I just went to work, came home.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Now I'm here. Wait, so you think it's so, I'm like,
- 26:17Speaker 2: I feel like I'm always trying to get more out
- 26:18Speaker 2: of him. So I feel like if I if he
- 26:20Speaker 2: told me like I saw bird today, I'd be like,
- 26:21Speaker 2: you're lying, Like shut up, like he's making fun of
- 26:24Speaker 2: me or something. Do you know what I mean?
- 26:25Speaker 1: Oh? Like you wantn't you wouldn't trust that he was
- 26:30Speaker 1: just telling you about a bird. Yeah, Oh, I see
- 26:32Speaker 1: what you're saying. So for people who don't know, because
- 26:34Speaker 1: I had a lot of people be like, what is
- 26:36Speaker 1: the bird theory? It's from us John John John Gottman.
- 26:44Speaker 1: He and his wife do like, uh, basically a couple
- 26:47Speaker 1: of therapy like connections and it's the concept of bids
- 26:51Speaker 1: for connections. So it basically he says that he can
- 26:55Speaker 1: tell if a couple has longevity based on this theory,
- 26:58Speaker 1: which is one partner says like a comment about seeing
- 27:03Speaker 1: a bird and how the other partner responds to it
- 27:06Speaker 1: is just he's able to tell like if they have
- 27:10Speaker 1: basically a future in terms of like how they can
- 27:12Speaker 1: communicate and connect with each other, and like if something
- 27:16Speaker 1: as simple as seeing a bird can like spark a
- 27:18Speaker 1: conversation an interest, So that's where it comes from. But
- 27:22Speaker 1: I haven't seen anyone like post one where it was
- 27:26Speaker 1: they were ignored or brushed off.
- 27:28Speaker 2: You haven't seen you seen anyone post you have?
- 27:31Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 27:32Speaker 1: Is it sad?
- 27:32Speaker 2: No, it's hilarious because I think that's like totally. I
- 27:36Speaker 2: honestly feel like if the rules were reversed, I'd be like, Okay, cool,
- 27:40Speaker 2: what do you come on? What really happened with your day?
- 27:43Speaker 1: But it's not. This is just it's the bird theory.
- 27:45Speaker 1: But it could be anything like if Robbie was like,
- 27:48Speaker 1: I saw this amazing the coolest car today, right, something
- 27:53Speaker 1: that he would care about that you wouldn't have like
- 27:56Speaker 1: red flags, you know what I'm saying, Like there's a
- 27:57Speaker 1: genuine interest in something that he cared about, and then
- 28:00Speaker 1: you just brushed them off because you didn't care. Six
- 28:06Speaker 1: what's for dinner?
- 28:07Speaker 2: Six?
- 28:10Speaker 1: But yeah, I mean I I've like read books by
- 28:13Speaker 1: John Gotman, so I believe in the bird theory.
- 28:17Speaker 2: You do? Yeah, well, you read by John Gotman.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Relationships relationship books like which one they're like main book,
- 28:25Speaker 1: which is like I don't know, it's probably called like
- 28:30Speaker 1: bid for Connections or something. I don't know, but I
- 28:34Speaker 1: I love like learning about that stuff because I felt
- 28:38Speaker 1: like in a lot of my relationships just in general,
- 28:41Speaker 1: I always lacked the communication part. So I'm really interested
- 28:44Speaker 1: in the communication of relationships personally.
- 28:50Speaker 2: You know, are celebrating this week, what six years of dating?
- 28:55Speaker 1: What two?
- 28:56Speaker 2: Me and my husband.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Six years dating?
- 29:00Speaker 5: Wow?
- 29:01Speaker 2: Wow, your birthday always reminds me of it because I
- 29:05Speaker 2: will never forget. At your birthday dinner six years ago,
- 29:10Speaker 2: I sat next to Ali and she was telling me
- 29:12Speaker 2: about this guy that she met on Hinge that was
- 29:14Speaker 2: so amazing, and I was like, I haven't tried that one.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Oh downloaded it that night on Halloween, the good night
- 29:20Speaker 2: after so Halloween, and then we matched on November first. Wow.
- 29:26Speaker 2: It's a nice memory.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Y'all matched on November first. Wow.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Yeah, that is crazy.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Six years ago. Now you're married.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Married. It's so crazy that I married. I still think
- 29:41Speaker 2: how crazy that is. Never thought i'd see the day. No,
- 29:45Speaker 2: I'm kidding.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Oh what. We're also celebrating something very special this week. Yes,
- 29:52Speaker 1: we are Easton's birthday. Oh my god, are you turning?
- 30:00Speaker 3: I'm going to be thirty eight years old?
- 30:02Speaker 1: Wow.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Wow, that's when the bones start hurting. Yeah, when the
- 30:07Speaker 2: bone matter.
- 30:10Speaker 1: I feel like Easton has a just like young, a
- 30:12Speaker 1: youth about him. You know what I was thinking about
- 30:14Speaker 1: the other day. But oh, in Vegas yesterday I was
- 30:18Speaker 1: just like, get me back to the hotel. I need
- 30:19Speaker 1: to lay down. I'm so tired. I thought Easton and Allison,
- 30:22Speaker 1: if they were here, they would have gone to the
- 30:24Speaker 1: work thing, headed to the roller coaster, gone to somewhere
- 30:28Speaker 1: off the strip, and then like booked it to the
- 30:31Speaker 1: airport to get on their fight.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:33Speaker 1: I kind of embrace the life and seize the day
- 30:36Speaker 1: like Easton.
- 30:37Speaker 2: I think it's the no alcohol.
- 30:39Speaker 1: I didn't drink what I didn't drink yesterday?
- 30:42Speaker 2: Did your guarden?
- 30:43Speaker 1: No sober?
- 30:46Speaker 2: Godspeed.
- 30:48Speaker 3: We just went to Wilmington, North Carolina for the drama
- 30:52Speaker 3: Queen's Finale, and Allison came with me, and you've ever
- 30:55Speaker 3: we packed a lot in days.
- 30:57Speaker 1: That y'all were on every tour.
- 30:59Speaker 3: We went on a ghost tour, went and saw where
- 31:01Speaker 3: they filmed the Conjuring. We went to the Museum of
- 31:03Speaker 3: the Bizarre. We watched a guy swallow swords. It was great.
- 31:07Speaker 5: It's so much fun.
- 31:07Speaker 1: I love that. I love that about y'all, Like It's
- 31:10Speaker 1: truly such a it's such a cool thing, and I
- 31:13Speaker 1: love that you found your match and Allison, who loves
- 31:17Speaker 1: to do it.
- 31:18Speaker 3: I know everyone in this room feels this way about
- 31:19Speaker 3: their partners, but like, there's so many moments where I'm
- 31:22Speaker 3: just like, God, there's no one else in the world
- 31:23Speaker 3: would be this excited about this but you. And I'm
- 31:26Speaker 3: so grateful that you were in my life. There's so
- 31:29Speaker 3: many moments like that with us.
- 31:30Speaker 4: It's so I see, I feel, I feel it through
- 31:33Speaker 4: all the strips and photos and videos.
- 31:35Speaker 1: It's really special. Well, we're happy you were born.
- 31:39Speaker 3: Oh thank you.
- 31:39Speaker 2: You know there's saying there's a song for every foot.
- 31:44Speaker 3: That's right. Wait, do you know what else happening Thursday
- 31:47Speaker 3: besides my birthday? What new Hillary Duff music? Thursday Thursday?
- 31:53Speaker 3: A new single called Mature.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Yeah, she did that.
- 31:56Speaker 3: I think she did it intentionally. She's been getting my
- 31:59Speaker 3: letters and that's my birthday because music normally comes out
- 32:03Speaker 3: on Fridays.
- 32:03Speaker 2: But why is she doing that.
- 32:05Speaker 3: Because it's my birthday. I don't know why she's doing that, honestly,
- 32:09Speaker 3: but it's so exciting and I can't wait to spend
- 32:11Speaker 3: all day listening to it.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Wait, is it not Thursday at like nine am?
- 32:15Speaker 3: In the announcement, she says Thursday, November sixth, like and
- 32:18Speaker 3: normally when it's like Thursday nine pm, they'll they'll still
- 32:21Speaker 3: say Fridays. It's right, But she says, so, I don't
- 32:24Speaker 3: if it's gonna be Wednesday at nine pm, I don't
- 32:26Speaker 3: know what that means.
- 32:26Speaker 1: WHOA very interesting, I'm very excited. I love Hilarya, I.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Love Hillary daff She you know what's so fascinating to me,
- 32:34Speaker 2: She's one of those people who've like stood the test
- 32:38Speaker 2: of time, remained relevant and lovable. Yes, throughout all.
- 32:45Speaker 1: The years, with no cancelizations.
- 32:48Speaker 2: No cancels and no like like what she's been in
- 32:52Speaker 2: younger I loved and then she did how I Met
- 32:55Speaker 2: your Father? Yes, but like other than that, she's remained
- 32:58Speaker 2: pretty low key, yeah, but still so relevant.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Everyone love she do that? Do you know what I
- 33:04Speaker 1: was saying, Hank and I were talking about this too,
- 33:06Speaker 1: that she like years for people joke about it now,
- 33:12Speaker 1: But when she did that commercial when someone's like that
- 33:15Speaker 1: shirt's gay or whatever, and she goes, you know, you
- 33:17Speaker 1: really shouldn't say that, and they're like, say what, She's like, Well,
- 33:21Speaker 1: saying something is gay, meaning that it's bad, and she was.
- 33:25Speaker 7: Like ahead or she was a trailblazer for the Alley
- 33:29Speaker 7: Allies of the world, and we were just saying, like
- 33:32Speaker 7: she's just remained who she is and never got canceled.
- 33:37Speaker 1: But everyone's always just like oneted more from her.
- 33:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I think the closest thing and everyone was on
- 33:43Speaker 3: her side, But do you remember there was like a
- 33:45Speaker 3: paparazzi was like taking pictures of her, like her kid's
- 33:47Speaker 3: soccer game or something, and she like told him off,
- 33:49Speaker 3: Oh yeah, and everyone's like she shouldn't have acted that way,
- 33:52Speaker 3: like yeah.
- 33:52Speaker 1: She should oh yeah, you know.
- 33:54Speaker 3: Yeah, But that's like the closest thing. Like that's she's
- 33:56Speaker 3: so far away from like because she's such an incredible person.
- 34:00Speaker 1: I think she I always feel very when celebrities say
- 34:04Speaker 1: something to paparazzi when their kids are involved. I'm like, yeah,
- 34:07Speaker 1: you yeah, But then when they're just like it's just
- 34:10Speaker 1: them and they're being like.
- 34:11Speaker 2: Stop following me, okay.
- 34:14Speaker 1: But even now I can't even know. It's so less
- 34:17Speaker 1: intense than it was during the height of like magazines
- 34:21Speaker 1: and stuff.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I really hope the song is good.
- 34:25Speaker 3: How funny is it going to be if it sucks.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Yeah, Like I really like, I'm really hoping that it's
- 34:30Speaker 2: like a banger.
- 34:32Speaker 3: I hope so too, because I love her so much. Yeah,
- 34:36Speaker 3: but I'm not. You know, I'll say the albums she
- 34:40Speaker 3: put out diminishing returns as they went on, nothing was
- 34:44Speaker 3: as good as Metamorphosis. Yeah that was like I think
- 34:48Speaker 3: she'll say that too, you know. So I'm excited about this.
- 34:52Speaker 3: I'm going in with trepidation. It's her first single in
- 34:55Speaker 3: a decade.
- 34:56Speaker 2: Crazy, I love it.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Must be so nervous, right, Yeah, I bet I bet
- 35:03Speaker 1: she's really nervous. I'd be nervous because you watch, like
- 35:08Speaker 1: if you're an artist and you're watching other music come out,
- 35:11Speaker 1: and how people respond to the to the music, but
- 35:14Speaker 1: also the musicians and how they criticize everything.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, that's the thing, is like I feel like everybody,
- 35:21Speaker 2: everybody's ruthless nowadays, and.
- 35:27Speaker 1: She's brave. Everyone's everyone's so excited to give an opinion, yes,
- 35:34Speaker 1: because if it can make you viral. It's like, I
- 35:37Speaker 1: don't care if I'm being rude, I don't care what
- 35:39Speaker 1: I'm doing. I'm just gonna give an opinion because I
- 35:41Speaker 1: know this has a chance to get on the for
- 35:44Speaker 1: you page and go viral.
- 35:45Speaker 3: I'm excited that it's an original song and not because
- 35:48Speaker 3: she could have just re recorded come Clean and like
- 35:50Speaker 3: still yeah, yes, yeah, she could have easily done that
- 35:55Speaker 3: and it would have been a slam dunk. But this
- 35:57Speaker 3: is a risk and I like that. I think it's fun.
- 35:59Speaker 1: I think it's that would be great. Maybe it's the
- 36:01Speaker 1: pop of the fall, I really hope. So we did
- 36:04Speaker 1: a really bad job guessing our songs of the summer.
- 36:07Speaker 2: So them speaking of when you're saying everybody has an
- 36:11Speaker 2: opinion about something, I have like a really really hot take,
- 36:19Speaker 2: hot take.
- 36:20Speaker 1: I have a really what's happening.
- 36:26Speaker 2: I'm so tired today. I have a very passionate hot
- 36:30Speaker 2: take on something that happened last week that I just
- 36:33Speaker 2: want to stand on my soapbox and just say to
- 36:35Speaker 2: the people that are listening and watching. But I'm gonna
- 36:38Speaker 2: do it when we come back.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Nice time we're back.
- 37:01Speaker 2: I understand that none of you watch Love is Blind,
- 37:03Speaker 2: So I'm going to be speaking to myself. This is
- 37:05Speaker 2: a hyperbole.
- 37:08Speaker 5: We talked to ourselves for gris Anatomy, Feel Free for
- 37:10Speaker 5: Love is Blind.
- 37:11Speaker 2: So this is just to the power.
- 37:13Speaker 1: This is the power. I'm so confused what's happening.
- 37:17Speaker 2: This is just the powers that that. Powers that be
- 37:22Speaker 2: have a gripe with the reunion. When I'm watching a
- 37:26Speaker 2: reunion for Love Is Blind, especially, I want to get
- 37:28Speaker 2: to the meat and potatoes of what is going on
- 37:31Speaker 2: with the couples since we last left them. I do
- 37:33Speaker 2: not want to see a five minute basketball showdown between
- 37:37Speaker 2: two of the people from the cast that I did
- 37:39Speaker 2: not care about and some basketball star that's in the audience.
- 37:43Speaker 2: And it happened within like ten minutes of the reunion.
- 37:45Speaker 2: So this is my complaint. I just want to say
- 37:50Speaker 2: it loud and proud as a as a huge lover
- 37:54Speaker 2: of the show, fan of the show, a viewer of
- 37:58Speaker 2: the show, so excited to watch the union, and then
- 38:01Speaker 2: Vanessa Lasha getting involved and making her get the ring
- 38:04Speaker 2: back from the guy that was just trying to get
- 38:06Speaker 2: the ring back from the girl, and then she was
- 38:07Speaker 2: like telling him to give.
- 38:08Speaker 1: It back to her.
- 38:09Speaker 2: It was all that whole section of the reunion needed
- 38:12Speaker 2: to be gone.
- 38:13Speaker 1: I agree they could have just exited. They could have
- 38:15Speaker 1: just cut that out completely and gone straight to the
- 38:18Speaker 1: point that It's just like I feel like every reunion
- 38:21Speaker 1: show does this, Like I was watching.
- 38:23Speaker 2: Never seen this before a basketball shootout reunion.
- 38:27Speaker 1: Were they trying to promote something right though?
- 38:30Speaker 2: And if it was promoting something, by all means get
- 38:32Speaker 2: your money, do your thing. I'm all for money, doing
- 38:36Speaker 2: your integrations, whatever you gotta do. But this was not
- 38:40Speaker 2: I don't think unless it got to that's a very
- 38:44Speaker 2: bad one. If it was, because I did not, I
- 38:45Speaker 2: didn't leave with any lasting impression.
- 38:48Speaker 1: They did this on Golden Bachelor Woman Tell All, which
- 38:52Speaker 1: I think I might be the only person watching the show,
- 38:54Speaker 1: but I was like the things that they were doing
- 38:57Speaker 1: updates on I was like, this is so bad. What
- 39:00Speaker 1: is happening right now? It was like someone's back spasm,
- 39:04Speaker 1: like checking in on your backspasom like into that Tanya
- 39:10Speaker 1: gets in the Golden batchist What did.
- 39:12Speaker 2: She do for her backspasm? I'm like to take notes. No,
- 39:15Speaker 2: but the basketball shootout was come on.
- 39:18Speaker 1: It just I don't get what it has to do
- 39:20Speaker 1: with the show.
- 39:21Speaker 2: And nothing and the two people that I could care
- 39:23Speaker 2: less about.
- 39:24Speaker 1: So did anyone have is anyone secretly together or anything?
- 39:29Speaker 1: I mean there was like some Megan have a baby.
- 39:31Speaker 2: With she does have a baby with someone else. Crazy crazy,
- 39:35Speaker 2: But the show had been wrapped for like over a year.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I know.
- 39:38Speaker 2: They so like they met him, she met him, she
- 39:40Speaker 2: went through the timeline, but it was quick. It was
- 39:41Speaker 2: like she met him two months after she broke up
- 39:43Speaker 2: at Jordan and then two months later she got pregnant.
- 39:46Speaker 1: It's quick, she said, I'm ready. Yeah, no time to waste. No. Well,
- 39:51Speaker 1: thanks for sharing that.
- 39:52Speaker 2: I'm sure a lot of off my chest.
- 39:53Speaker 1: I'm sure a lot of the Love is Blind fans
- 39:55Speaker 1: feel similarly.
- 39:57Speaker 2: It's been really bothering me.
- 39:58Speaker 1: I feel like a lot of reunion and shows that
- 40:00Speaker 1: they don't get to anything that you want to hear about.
- 40:03Speaker 1: They just kind of gab, They talk about things you
- 40:05Speaker 1: don't care about. They do ads. It's just kind of like,
- 40:08Speaker 1: what are we doing here? I'd rather some people just
- 40:10Speaker 1: sit down on the Instagram live or TikTok live and
- 40:13Speaker 1: just hash it out, you.
- 40:14Speaker 2: Know what I realized, Like with the Lowe Island reunions lately,
- 40:19Speaker 2: everybody's just talking about what people said on podcasts, like
- 40:23Speaker 2: it was like you went on this podcast and you
- 40:25Speaker 2: said this, You went on this podcast, and it's like
- 40:27Speaker 2: I can't even keep up.
- 40:28Speaker 1: Well, they shouldn't let them do those until they have
- 40:30Speaker 1: to bring in I agree.
- 40:32Speaker 2: Another note to be caught. Please lock them up from
- 40:35Speaker 2: press until after the union.
- 40:37Speaker 1: I mean for a long time they did that. But
- 40:39Speaker 1: they want people to watch the show, so.
- 40:42Speaker 2: So have Ariano Maddox run around.
- 40:44Speaker 1: I agree, I agree. I'm on your side.
- 40:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm happy to run around do promo for it too.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Okay. Wait, Mark has the audio from Tanya trying the
- 40:52Speaker 1: bird theory on Robbie.
- 40:54Speaker 5: I think Robbie passed with flying collars. You were a
- 40:56Speaker 5: little concerned about his tone.
- 40:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:58Speaker 5: I thought he did a great job. I thought this
- 41:01Speaker 5: boded really well for your relationship. Here's Tanya testing the
- 41:05Speaker 5: bird theory. The bird test on Robbie.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Was really good. I saw a bird in the backyard.
- 41:11Speaker 5: In the backyard, m h, what kind.
- 41:13Speaker 7: Of bird was?
- 41:14Speaker 2: It was like a really pretty like red one, A
- 41:18Speaker 2: pretty red bird.
- 41:20Speaker 5: Yes, how.
- 41:24Speaker 7: Is it?
- 41:29Speaker 5: What's great about it is like whatever that doctor Becca
- 41:33Speaker 5: mentioned earlier. He's turning into it. Yes, he is suspicious.
- 41:37Speaker 5: He thinks something is going on, and he thinks you're
- 41:39Speaker 5: probably full of it. But he is turning toward your
- 41:42Speaker 5: bid for attention.
- 41:43Speaker 2: He talked about it for a long time, and he
- 41:44Speaker 2: was like, you know how Sonny always barking at the
- 41:46Speaker 2: birds in the backyard. And I was like, yeah, he is,
- 41:49Speaker 2: because there's a lot of birds in the back yard.
- 41:53Speaker 2: I forgot about that.
- 41:55Speaker 1: You want to hear Haley's yes, I do.
- 41:58Speaker 5: I enjoy the bird test.
- 42:03Speaker 6: I still not burning and.
- 42:05Speaker 1: You want us all the other day? Oh yeah, should
- 42:10Speaker 1: you look it up?
- 42:11Speaker 5: No?
- 42:12Speaker 1: I should?
- 42:13Speaker 2: Why if you.
- 42:16Speaker 4: Maybe it's just like the color or something I've never
- 42:19Speaker 4: seen before.
- 42:20Speaker 7: Ladies a vagrant's a bigger black and task and said,
- 42:26Speaker 7: we're in.
- 42:26Speaker 2: That strays so far well and doesn't not that.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Is that sun? I was like that have in line
- 42:38Speaker 1: started on that?
- 42:43Speaker 2: You say where was in there?
- 42:46Speaker 1: But the back maybe it has a mess. Yeah, maybe
- 42:53Speaker 1: I've just never seen it before.
- 42:57Speaker 5: Same thing turning beautiful. It's well you at the Taylor
- 43:03Speaker 5: swift makes it gives a poignancy to the whole thing.
- 43:06Speaker 5: It makes it all just kind of a moving exchange.
- 43:08Speaker 3: It was, Yeah, it was beautiful, this like avy and vagrant.
- 43:12Speaker 5: Yeah and if through a fan blowing right on, because.
- 43:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I did have it. I just had
- 43:19Speaker 1: it under Oh it was her the bath running, the bathrun.
- 43:22Speaker 1: She was in the bathroom. I was sitting in like
- 43:24Speaker 1: the entryway, and so I just had like propped it
- 43:27Speaker 1: on the like a frame, so it's like up against
- 43:30Speaker 1: where she was.
- 43:31Speaker 5: Taking a bath. Yeah, and she likes to have little
- 43:33Speaker 5: tailor playing while.
- 43:34Speaker 1: She No, no, no, she was. She just likes to
- 43:40Speaker 1: talk while she She'll be like, come show me us.
- 43:45Speaker 5: I mean, really casts a mood.
- 43:48Speaker 1: I actually loved listening to music while I take a bath.
- 43:50Speaker 2: So that's what that taking a bath since like twenty nineteen.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Oh, you should look into it, I know, really relaxing.
- 43:57Speaker 1: It'd probably really be good for my bath.
- 43:59Speaker 2: Yeah, back and just life in general.
- 44:01Speaker 1: Mental yeah, rest facts. Yeah, well that note. I think
- 44:10Speaker 1: it's time to end this podcast.
- 44:13Speaker 2: Tis time.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Oh we never talked about that. Oh yeah we did,
- 44:20Speaker 1: we did all yeah, but we congratulated the Dodgers two
- 44:24Speaker 1: years in a row World Series champ the Blue There
- 44:29Speaker 1: was a to be honest, I would have been happy
- 44:32Speaker 1: if either team won wow, because I.
- 44:34Speaker 2: Love an under story outside your door.
- 44:37Speaker 1: I like, I like an underdog story. And I was like,
- 44:40Speaker 1: the Dodgers just have like so much more money and
- 44:43Speaker 1: power in the league, and I felt like the Blue
- 44:46Speaker 1: Jays were like this underdog and.
- 44:47Speaker 5: It felt like yeah, and their fans were so passionate.
- 44:50Speaker 1: I know they hadn't been there since nineteen seventy somethings
- 44:54Speaker 1: of nineteen ninety three.
- 44:56Speaker 5: Last year, I know, it was just not an empty seat.
- 45:00Speaker 5: They even filled up the basketball arena next door people
- 45:02Speaker 5: to watch every pitch of the game. Well, Dodger Stadium.
- 45:05Speaker 5: They paned the crowd. There's so many NBCs, like, I
- 45:06Speaker 5: know they're all sold, but you wouldn't believe in many NBCs.
- 45:09Speaker 5: You see when they panned the crowd. I don't know.
- 45:11Speaker 5: I was kind. I was pulling for Toronto too.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just I'm just one of I was happy
- 45:15Speaker 1: either way, and I loved the comeback from the Dot
- 45:18Speaker 1: Like it was really cool that they just like didn't stop.
- 45:20Speaker 1: But I was, you know, it was it was sad
- 45:23Speaker 1: to watch them lose to I felt all the emissions.
- 45:26Speaker 2: I bleed blue.
- 45:28Speaker 1: Just kidding, Well, they're blue too, the Blue Days. We'll
- 45:36Speaker 1: be back Thursday for Easton's birthday, some games and I
- 45:42Speaker 1: don't know, just more Shenanigans.
- 45:45Speaker 2: To play the best game ever.
- 45:47Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll be back on Thursday. We love you, some mudy.
- 45:51Speaker 5: Let me
