Harlem Week is back for its 52nd year, running August 1–16, free and streamed online, with a powerful theme: “Honoring Our Legacy.” This year marks the first without co-founder Lloyd A. Williams, who passed last August, as new leaders step in to carry forward the mission of uplifting Harlem’s spirit since the event’s humble 1974 start.
