  Speaker 2: reach their hearts and minds, able to apply these verses

  Speaker 2: to their lives. And the Lord Jesus Christ name I

  Speaker 2: pray a men. So we're gonna be in Matthew chapter thirteen.

  Speaker 2: In this episode, I'll give you a little bit of

  Speaker 1: And it's been a great couple of days.

  Speaker 2: It's been a great couple of years really, and there's

  Speaker 2: no downs that keep me from being up. There will

  Speaker 2: be downs that come and go, but the ups really

  Speaker 2: it's those.

  Speaker 2: And as I have given you enough time to grab

  Speaker 2: math Matthew, Chapter thirteen, verse one, and we're gonna be

  Speaker 2: talking about Jesus tells a story about seeds that a
• 1:55
  Speaker 2: farmer planted. Okay, On that same day, Jesus left the
• 2:01
  Speaker 2: house and he went to Lake Galley. He sat down
• 2:04
  Speaker 2: near the edge of the lake to teach people.
• 2:07
  Speaker 1: Verse two.
• 2:08
  Speaker 2: The crowd that came to listen to him listened to
• 2:11
  Speaker 2: him was very large, so he went and sat in
• 2:14
  Speaker 2: a boat that was on the water. The big crowd
• 2:18
  Speaker 2: of people stood on the shore.
• 2:22
  Speaker 1: Now, imagine how loud Jesus had to have.
• 2:26
  Speaker 2: Been able to speak, Right, if there's this many people,
• 2:30
  Speaker 2: like a steady impact, right, forgive me for the sirens
• 2:34
  Speaker 2: going by. It's a matter of also having people there
• 2:42
  Speaker 2: that could tell people in the back what Jesus was saying.
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: As well.
• 2:47
  Speaker 2: You had to imagine the effort to be able to
• 2:55
  Speaker 2: have the opportunity to hear Jesus being close enough. But
• 2:59
  Speaker 2: imagine how tough it was for everyone else there had
• 3:01
  Speaker 2: to be translators as well. There had to be, you know,
• 3:05
  Speaker 2: that's what really makes a team. Though Jesus picked twelve
• 3:10
  Speaker 2: disciples to be with him for a reason, He knew
• 3:13
  Speaker 2: that more would be the more that could follow him
• 3:17
  Speaker 2: and believe, the more that the message could actually be
• 3:22
  Speaker 2: revealed to those.
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: That wanted to have hope.
• 3:29
  Speaker 2: And on verse three, it says Jesus used stories to
• 3:31
  Speaker 2: teach them many things. He said to.
• 3:34
  Speaker 1: Them, listen to me.
• 3:36
  Speaker 2: A farmer went out to plant seeds in his field.
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: While he was throwing.
• 3:42
  Speaker 2: The seeds, some of them fell on the path. The
• 3:45
  Speaker 2: birds came and they ate those seeds. Verse five. Other
• 3:49
  Speaker 2: seeds fell on ground with hard rocks. There was not
• 3:54
  Speaker 2: much soil in that place. The seeds quickly began to
• 3:58
  Speaker 2: grow because the soil was not deep. But when the
• 4:03
  Speaker 2: sun rose, it burned the young plants. They soon died
• 4:07
  Speaker 2: because they had not ground. They did not ground down
• 4:12
  Speaker 2: well into the soil. Of verse seven. Some other seeds
• 4:16
  Speaker 2: fell among thorn bushes. Those bushes grew up with young plants.
• 4:20
  Speaker 2: They stood the seeds from growing into strong plants. How
• 4:26
  Speaker 2: many of us have experienced that, whether it be a job,
• 4:31
  Speaker 2: whether it be a relationship, whether it be.
• 4:35
  Speaker 1: Any situation where you just.
• 4:40
  Speaker 2: You're not suited for it, You're not capable of doing
• 4:46
  Speaker 2: the job.
• 4:47
  Speaker 1: I've been there.
• 4:48
  Speaker 2: You know. It can be embarrassing, it can be you know,
• 4:52
  Speaker 2: it's degrading. But there's so much that when you are
• 5:00
  Speaker 2: planted and not your own understanding, not your own thought process,
• 5:06
  Speaker 2: it's a consciousness. It's the armor of God. Being able
• 5:09
  Speaker 2: to be connected to Jesus. You have that same power
• 5:13
  Speaker 2: that rose him from the grave in you with the
• 5:16
  Speaker 2: Holy Spirit. And Jesus was trying to tell people this
• 5:22
  Speaker 2: that if it's if you plant your seed's in the
• 5:30
  Speaker 2: wrong places, they won't grow correctly. Let anything you give
• 5:34
  Speaker 2: to God, whether it be your time, your money, your efforts,
• 5:37
  Speaker 2: your energy, your talents, whatever it may be, you glorify
• 5:42
  Speaker 2: God and just watch and see not only in this
• 5:47
  Speaker 2: life but the afterlife. But we can bring heaven to earth. Ooh,
• 5:51
  Speaker 2: let me preach, Let me preach a little bit, Holy Spirit.
• 5:54
  Speaker 2: I'm letting you take over though verse six. But when
• 5:58
  Speaker 2: thus whatever seven i'ms are Verse eight, actually we already
• 6:04
  Speaker 2: talked about they stopped the seeds from growing into strong plants.
• 6:08
  Speaker 2: That's being in the bushes. I many of us have
• 6:12
  Speaker 2: been in the bushes, right, I know I have.
• 6:16
  Speaker 1: It was almost on fire verse eight.
• 6:18
  Speaker 2: But some seeds fell on good soil, and strong plants grew.
• 6:24
  Speaker 1: From those seeds.
• 6:25
  Speaker 2: Some plants made one hundred new seeds, some plants made
• 6:29
  Speaker 2: sixty new seeds, and some plants made thirty new seeds.
• 6:32
  Speaker 1: Verse nine.
• 6:33
  Speaker 2: Then Jesus said to the crowd, you have ears, so
• 6:36
  Speaker 2: listen well to what I say. Jesus tells his disciples
• 6:40
  Speaker 2: why he teaches with stories. Then jesus disciples came to him.
• 6:46
  Speaker 2: They asked him, why do you use stories to speak
• 6:49
  Speaker 2: to the crowd. Jesus replied, this is Matthew, Chapter thirteen,
• 6:53
  Speaker 2: verse eleven. God has let you know what these stories mean.
• 6:59
  Speaker 2: You understand how God rules in the lives of his people.
• 7:04
  Speaker 2: But these other people do not understand what the stories mean.
• 7:09
  Speaker 2: A person who has received some things will receive even more.
• 7:15
  Speaker 2: He will have lots of good things. Some people have nothing.
• 7:19
  Speaker 2: Some people will lose even the little.
• 7:22
  Speaker 1: Bit they that they do have.
• 7:26
  Speaker 2: In Verse thirteen states the reason I use stories to
• 7:29
  Speaker 2: talk to other people is this. These people look, but
• 7:33
  Speaker 2: they do not really see.
• 7:36
  Speaker 1: Clearly.
• 7:37
  Speaker 2: They hear the words, but they do not really understand
• 7:42
  Speaker 2: Verse fourteen. Long ago the prophet Isaiah spoken message from
• 7:45
  Speaker 2: God about those people.
• 7:47
  Speaker 1: Now it has become true.
• 7:49
  Speaker 2: God said, you will listen and listen, but you will
• 7:54
  Speaker 2: not understand. You will look and look, but you will
• 7:58
  Speaker 2: not see anything. These people do not want to understand.

  Speaker 2: They are like people who have shut their ears. They
• 8:08
  Speaker 2: are like people who have shut their eyes. If they
• 8:11
  Speaker 2: did want to look, then they would really see. If
• 8:16
  Speaker 2: they did want to listen, when they would really hear,
• 8:20
  Speaker 2: then they would really hear. They would understand my message.
• 8:25
  Speaker 2: They would turn back to obey me. Then I forgive them.
• 8:31
  Speaker 2: Then I would keyword right. The forgiveness is there is
• 8:36
  Speaker 2: waiting for you, and I would make them well. Then,
• 8:39
  Speaker 2: Jesus said to his disciples, and will close out here shortly.

  Speaker 2: This is a great chapter. Then, Jesus said to his disciples.
• 8:48
  Speaker 2: But as for you, be happy because God has helped
• 8:51
  Speaker 2: you to see see. There's so many of us that
• 8:54
  Speaker 2: have this spiritual gift. We know how important it is
• 8:59
  Speaker 2: to connected to the divine with God, Jesus and the
• 9:02
  Speaker 2: Holy Spirit, and being able to not only just be
• 9:06
  Speaker 2: a living testimony to that, but honestly feel it, think it,
• 9:11
  Speaker 2: and live it. It's a lifestyle, you know, and people
• 9:19
  Speaker 2: are attracted by what they really want, right, So what
• 9:28
  Speaker 2: we desire is to feel wanted and needed and confident
• 9:32
  Speaker 2: and all these different things, right, And we don't always
• 9:37
  Speaker 2: feel that, But if we can have that consciousness of
• 9:43
  Speaker 2: that joy, of that grace from the Holy Spirit, that
• 9:48
  Speaker 2: nobody can take away because the world didn't give it.
• 9:50
  Speaker 1: I didn't go to a store and buy it.
• 9:54
  Speaker 2: I didn't earn it either. It was given to me.
• 9:56
  Speaker 2: It was a gift. Now what I can do is
• 10:00
  Speaker 2: the gift. I can hold on to it. I can
• 10:02
  Speaker 2: I can turn on and off from it as well.
• 10:08
  Speaker 2: You have to live through experience, right, you see, not
• 10:13
  Speaker 2: being a believer, being a believer, then being a follower
• 10:17
  Speaker 2: that it stages. Some people get it quickly, some people
• 10:20
  Speaker 2: get it slowly. But let me close out right here.
• 10:22
  Speaker 2: I want to go a little deeper, okay. And Jesus
• 10:27
  Speaker 2: said to his disciples, and we talked about that so
• 10:30
  Speaker 2: verse seventeen. I tell you this, many profits and good
• 10:33
  Speaker 2: people from a long time ago wanted to see these things,
• 10:36
  Speaker 2: but they did not see the things that you are seeing.
• 10:40
  Speaker 2: They wanted to hear the message that you were hearing.
• 10:43
  Speaker 2: But they did not hear it isn't that deep seeking
• 10:52
  Speaker 2: you shall find right. I got four minutes, and I
