- 0:00Speaker 1: I am a Sherry Mackie, and it's time for us
- 0:03Speaker 1: to go to God in prayer. And it's always I
- 0:05Speaker 1: invite you to join along with me in prayer. And
- 0:10Speaker 1: today I want to pray for the ladies, you know,
- 0:12Speaker 1: the ladies, not you, not you. I'm talking about ladies
- 0:15Speaker 1: like me who keep putting themselves last. They're juggling career
- 0:19Speaker 1: and family and obligations and responsibilities. They're caring for everybody else,
- 0:27Speaker 1: but they need to remember that they matter too, Heavenly Father,
- 0:31Speaker 1: today we lift up every woman who is carrying the
- 0:34Speaker 1: weight of so many responsibilities. Lord, she's professional, she's a mother,
- 0:39Speaker 1: she's a wife, she's a daughter, she's a sister, she's
- 0:42Speaker 1: a caregiver, she's a friend, she's a ministry leader. The
- 0:45Speaker 1: problem sovereign, and when everyone seems to call when they
- 0:49Speaker 1: need something, she's constantly pouring out, giving, serving, providing andcouraging
- 0:54Speaker 1: and making sure everyone else is okay. But Father, today
- 0:58Speaker 1: we pray for her. You know, the woman who's become
- 1:01Speaker 1: so accustomed to taking care of everyone else that she's
- 1:04Speaker 1: forgotten how to take care of herself. She's so busy
- 1:07Speaker 1: meeting everyone else's need that she's neglected her own. She's exhausted,
- 1:12Speaker 1: but she keeps on going. She's overwhelmed, but she keeps smiling.
- 1:15Speaker 1: She's hurting, but she keeps showing up. Father, remind her
- 1:19Speaker 1: today that she matters too. Help her understand that taking
- 1:23Speaker 1: care of herself is not selfish. Resting is not weakness,
- 1:27Speaker 1: Setting healthy boundaries is not wrong. Saying no one it's
- 1:31Speaker 1: necessary does not make her a bad person. Teach her
- 1:34Speaker 1: that she cannot continue pouring from an empty vessel. Lord,
- 1:38Speaker 1: give her permission to pause, Give her permission to Breathe
- 1:42Speaker 1: give her permission to rest, Give her permission to say,
- 1:45Speaker 1: I need help. Father, renew her strength, Restore what has
- 1:49Speaker 1: been depleted. Remind her God that she matters. Refresh her mind,
- 1:54Speaker 1: replenish her spirit. Heal the parts of her that have
- 1:57Speaker 1: been neglected while she was busy caring for everyone else. Lord,
- 2:02Speaker 1: help her release the guilt she feels when she takes
- 2:05Speaker 1: time for herself. Remind her that she doesn't have to
- 2:10Speaker 1: earn risks. She doesn't have to apologize for needing a break.
- 2:14Speaker 1: She doesn't have to carry every burden simply because she's
- 2:17Speaker 1: capable of carrying it. Father, give her wisdom to know
- 2:21Speaker 1: what is truly hers to carry and what she needs
- 2:24Speaker 1: to place in your hands. Help her to recognize that
- 2:27Speaker 1: she can love her family without losing herself. Phone she
- 2:31Speaker 1: can pursue her career without sacrificing her piece. She can
- 2:34Speaker 1: serve others while not abandoning her own well being. Lords
- 2:39Speaker 1: around her with people who will pour into her, oh
- 2:43Speaker 1: the way she pours into everyone else. Give her space
- 2:46Speaker 1: where she can feel vulnerable. Give her relationships where she
- 2:50Speaker 1: doesn't have to always be the strong one. And today, Father,
- 2:54Speaker 1: we declare over every woman listening. We matter. Our health
- 2:59Speaker 1: mess Our peace matters, our dreams matter, our voice matters,
- 3:03Speaker 1: our purpose matters, our joy matters. God. We will not
- 3:09Speaker 1: feel guilty for taking care of ourselves. We will not
- 3:11Speaker 1: neglect ourselves to prove our love for anybody else. We
- 3:15Speaker 1: will not confuse exhaustion with strength. We will not continue caring.
- 3:19Speaker 1: But God never asks for us to carry. Oh, God,
- 3:22Speaker 1: we give ourselves permission to rest, to heal, to grow,
- 3:25Speaker 1: and to become a hole. Father, remind us that we
- 3:29Speaker 1: are more than what we produce. God, we are more
- 3:32Speaker 1: than a job. We are more than the roles we fulfilled.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Before God, we were somebody's mother somebody's wife, somebody's bought,
- 3:41Speaker 1: somebody's employees, somebody's caregiver. We were yours, and Lord, let
- 3:46Speaker 1: us never forget that we are your beloved daughter. So
- 3:49Speaker 1: today we ask you to breathe a new life into us.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Restore our jewel, renew our strength, reignite our dreams. Give
- 3:56Speaker 1: us the courage to put ourselves back on the list,
- 4:00Speaker 1: not above everybody else, but alongside everybody else. Thank you Lord,
- 4:04Speaker 1: for every woman who gives so much of themselves to others. Now, Father,
- 4:09Speaker 1: teach us how to receive. Let this be a season
- 4:12Speaker 1: where we stop merely surviving and begin to thrive in
- 4:15Speaker 1: the mighty healing, refreshing, and restoring name of Jesus. Amen, Amen,
- 4:19Speaker 1: and Amen,
