Truck Hits Officer in Cheyenne | Cheyenne News
A drunk driver in Cheyenne, Wyoming, allegedly plowed into a police officer with his truck during a late-night bar check, sparking felony assault charges and a potential 10-year sentence. Justin Wright, 28, reportedly revved his engine, struck an officer’s leg, refused to comply, and kicked during arrest—signs of intoxication were clear. Officers didn’t conduct a field sobriety test but secured a warrant for a blood draw. The case now heads to court as a sobering reminder of the dangers officers face daily.
