Enjoy the Life You Have: Injustice, Mortality, and Everyday Wisdom | Ecclesiastes 8–10
Episode Overview
How do we live well in a world that often seems unfair? In this episode we walk through Ecclesiastes 8 through 10. The Teacher faces the puzzle of authority and injustice—sometimes the wicked are honored and the righteous forgotten—yet he holds onto the conviction that, in the end, it will go well for those who fear God.
Confronting the reality that death comes to everyone alike, he counsels us to enjoy the life we have, to love and work with all our might, and to value wisdom—remembering that a little folly, like a little yeast, can spoil much that is good.
