- 0:00Speaker 1: You just heard the news. Now you'll find out what
- 0:04Speaker 1: it all means. Hey, smart simone on sevent teno long. Okay,
- 0:12Speaker 1: we've a lot to get to today. Jimmy Kimmel gets
- 0:14Speaker 1: the biggest insult imaginable. We'll get to that. We'll get
- 0:17Speaker 1: to way. Do you hear what the Democrats are gonna
- 0:20Speaker 1: unleash on President Trump? Next, we'll get to that. We'll
- 0:23Speaker 1: get to the Ukraine, We'll get to CBS News a
- 0:26Speaker 1: lot of changes. We'll get to Bruce Blakeman big announcement
- 0:30Speaker 1: this morning. Have a freezing cold outside, colder than Hillary
- 0:35Speaker 1: Clinton's smile out there. It is freezing. But you got
- 0:40Speaker 1: to give credit to those smokers. I don't care how
- 0:43Speaker 1: cold it is when I come there. They are in
- 0:45Speaker 1: front of the building out there, going out there to smoke,
- 0:47Speaker 1: standing out there in the freezing cold. You see the
- 0:50Speaker 1: smoke coming out of their mouth and they haven't even
- 0:52Speaker 1: lit the cigarette yet. It's just the freezing cold. So
- 0:57Speaker 1: let me just tell you this before anything else. Here's
- 0:59Speaker 1: what you're gonna hear the next couple of days. They're
- 1:01Speaker 1: getting ready to unleash this. The Democrats are going to
- 1:04Speaker 1: go after President Trump for mortgage fraud. They think they
- 1:09Speaker 1: got him on mortgage fraud. I don't know, maybe they
- 1:12Speaker 1: got some who knows. But they've uncovered documents from the nineties.
- 1:17Speaker 1: They had to go back thirty years to find this.
- 1:22Speaker 1: But apparently at the time, in the mid nineties, President
- 1:26Speaker 1: Trump had mar A Lago then and he was spending
- 1:29Speaker 1: a lot of time in Palm Beach, and he started
- 1:32Speaker 1: to buy houses near mar A Lago as they came
- 1:35Speaker 1: on the market. A couple of nice houses came on
- 1:37Speaker 1: the market, and he bought two of these houses, and
- 1:40Speaker 1: he got mortgages from Merrill Lynch and apparently he declared
- 1:44Speaker 1: them his primary residence. They would both be his primary residents.
- 1:48Speaker 1: So Democrats, they can't investigate anything. You could steal eight
- 1:53Speaker 1: billion dollars in fraud in Minnesota, in that Somalia, the
- 1:59Speaker 1: fraud homeless scheme. They won't investigate it. The New York
- 2:03Speaker 1: Times won't even mention it. NBC, abccbist, they won't even
- 2:07Speaker 1: look at it. They won't. But these Democrats have been
- 2:11Speaker 1: going through every document in the history of Donald Trump.
- 2:14Speaker 1: They went back to the nineties to find these mortgage documents.
- 2:20Speaker 1: They think they got them on mortgage fraud. Exactly the
- 2:22Speaker 1: same thing as Letitia James. I don't know. I don't
- 2:25Speaker 1: think so. Merrill Lynch, which is now owned by Bank
- 2:28Speaker 1: of America, it's been contacted by the Democrats and asked
- 2:33Speaker 1: for copies of this mortgage, and they said it's forty
- 2:38Speaker 1: years ago. Now, thirty years ago. It's thirty years ago,
- 2:40Speaker 1: thirty two years ago. They said, we don't even keep these,
- 2:43Speaker 1: we don't keep the documents. Thirty two years we don't
- 2:45Speaker 1: even have to have. So, well, you're gonna start hearing
- 2:48Speaker 1: about this mortgage fraud by Donald Trump. Let's see if
- 2:50Speaker 1: this amounts to anything. Let's see if the documents are real.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Let's see if any of this actually pans out. The
- 2:57Speaker 1: President will be going to the Poconos later today. Why
- 3:01Speaker 1: is that. I think there's a casino there. He's going
- 3:04Speaker 1: to he's going to talk about affordability, He's going to
- 3:06Speaker 1: talk about the get to remember. The one thing that's
- 3:10Speaker 1: really going to make a difference for everybody are these
- 3:12Speaker 1: tax cuts, biggest tax cuts in history, and they haven't
- 3:15Speaker 1: kicked in yet. They don't start till January. So everybody,
- 3:20Speaker 1: because of the tax cuts, gets a huge wage increase
- 3:23Speaker 1: starting in January. A smaller tax bill. It'll make a
- 3:27Speaker 1: huge difference in the economy. Now, if this is what
- 3:31Speaker 1: we're going through right now, the economy is pretty good
- 3:33Speaker 1: right now, It's actually pretty good. Don't buy the fake news.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Wages are actually rising all year long. Wages have been
- 3:39Speaker 1: rising at a much faster pace. Prices have been going
- 3:42Speaker 1: down all year, and that's what you want. That's how
- 3:46Speaker 1: you get back to normal. Remember, you had the worst
- 3:48Speaker 1: inflation under Biden, worst inflation in fifty years. Actually, some
- 3:53Speaker 1: say the worst inflation in history for middle class consumers.
- 3:57Speaker 1: So you can't expect that to get fixed in ten.
- 4:00Speaker 1: It could take a year and a half to fix that.
- 4:02Speaker 1: But great progress has been made again, Wages are rising fast,
- 4:06Speaker 1: prices are coming down. So if right now what we
- 4:10Speaker 1: got is an affordability crisis, that means we had five
- 4:15Speaker 1: times the affordability crisis under Biden. And the same media
- 4:18Speaker 1: never mentioned it, never even brought it up. But he'll uh.
- 4:22Speaker 1: One of the things who told me about this last week.
- 4:24Speaker 1: One of the things they've decided is that the president
- 4:27Speaker 1: has to go back into campaign mode. He's going to
- 4:30Speaker 1: need to do that a lot in twenty twenty six.
- 4:32Speaker 1: For the midterms, but they've decided he'd better start doing
- 4:35Speaker 1: it now. One of the problems is he redid the
- 4:37Speaker 1: White House, and it's beautiful. If you look at the
- 4:40Speaker 1: Oval Office, he made it so palatial and so ornate,
- 4:44Speaker 1: with the gold all over the walls and just incredible.
- 4:48Speaker 1: It looks like Versailles. It looks incredible, and it's good
- 4:51Speaker 1: because when you bring in foreign leaders, this is the
- 4:53Speaker 1: impression you want to make. You don't want it to
- 4:55Speaker 1: look like a cold municipal building. You want it to
- 4:58Speaker 1: look really impressive because the these foreign leaders, they work
- 5:02Speaker 1: in palaces, they work in the most unbelievable luxurious place,
- 5:06Speaker 1: so you can't have them come here and think you're
- 5:09Speaker 1: working in this dumpy building. So that's why he did that.
- 5:12Speaker 1: It makes sense, But there's been a side effect to
- 5:16Speaker 1: this psychologically. You know, people always thought of him as just,
- 5:20Speaker 1: you know, kind of the blue collar billionaire. You know,
- 5:23Speaker 1: you remember him on the garbage truck during the campaign,
- 5:25Speaker 1: remember him working in McDonald's. Even the rallies, they were
- 5:28Speaker 1: always in a blue collar sort of aerials areas. You know,
- 5:31Speaker 1: they're at in a middle of nowhere in Pennsylvania. They're
- 5:34Speaker 1: in Wildwood, New Jersey. They weren't in fancy places, so
- 5:39Speaker 1: he looked like a real man of the people in
- 5:41Speaker 1: those settings. But now all you see is him in
- 5:43Speaker 1: this Gold Oliver or Nate gold Oval office. It makes
- 5:48Speaker 1: him look it's king like the setting. So they decided
- 5:51Speaker 1: he'd better get back on the campaign trail. People better
- 5:53Speaker 1: see him back in these regular settings, blue collar settings,
- 5:56Speaker 1: you know, out there with the people. So he goes
- 5:59Speaker 1: to the Pokes around six o'clock tonight, he'll make a
- 6:02Speaker 1: speech there, casinos there. I so imagine it's going to
- 6:06Speaker 1: also focus on no tax on tips, which will make
- 6:09Speaker 1: a huge difference for a lot of people. So that's
- 6:13Speaker 1: tonight he'll you'll see more of that coming up. Pete
- 6:16Speaker 1: hag Ziff, I think that's I think they're starting to
- 6:18Speaker 1: figure out that's going nowhere. I think they're starting to
- 6:21Speaker 1: realize it's not going to work. It's not going any place.
- 6:24Speaker 1: You can look at the you know, they keep fighting
- 6:28Speaker 1: to release the videos. It it's like the Epstein files.
- 6:30Speaker 1: There's always something the Trump administers holds back just to
- 6:34Speaker 1: taunt these people. You know, it's like a little baby,
- 6:36Speaker 1: hold something in front of him and as he reaches
- 6:38Speaker 1: you pull it away. It's what they're doing in the
- 6:40Speaker 1: Democratic Party. They chase this Epstein files. There's nothing in
- 6:43Speaker 1: these Epstein files that you don't already know. And the
- 6:46Speaker 1: same thing with this video. There's nothing in the video
- 6:48Speaker 1: you don't already know. And the problem is, if you
- 6:51Speaker 1: look at the video, Democrats look ridiculous with their fishing boat.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Theory fishing boat. I'm looking at the video. This boat
- 6:59Speaker 1: has for the most powerful outboard motors on the back
- 7:02Speaker 1: of it, and those four would cost about one hundred
- 7:06Speaker 1: and eighty thousand dollars. And when you see the video
- 7:09Speaker 1: with the four outboards, super high powered outboards going, this
- 7:13Speaker 1: boat is going like one hundred and eighty miles through
- 7:15Speaker 1: the water in the middle of the night. That's not
- 7:17Speaker 1: a fishing boat. No fishing boat needs to go one
- 7:20Speaker 1: hundred eighty miles an hour. It just looks ridiculous. It's
- 7:23Speaker 1: clearly a drug boat. So they'll fight for these videos.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Eventually they'll get released, and then the Democrats will look stupid.
- 7:29Speaker 1: And I think they realized the hecks of stuff. They've
- 7:32Speaker 1: tried it. It's not going to work. It's going nowhere.
- 7:34Speaker 1: They keep asking Trump about whatever he wants to do
- 7:37Speaker 1: is okay with.
- 7:37Speaker 2: He now says it's under review. Are you ordering the
- 7:39Speaker 2: secretary to release that full video?
- 7:41Speaker 3: Whatever he decides, he's okay with me. So every boat
- 7:45Speaker 3: we knock out of the water, every boat we saved
- 7:47Speaker 3: twenty five thousand American lives. That was a boat loaded
- 7:51Speaker 3: up with drugs. I saw the video. They were trying
- 7:53Speaker 3: to turn the boat back to where it could float,
- 7:57Speaker 3: and we didn't want to see that.
- 7:59Speaker 1: No, I remember everything they accused Trump of, every horrible,
- 8:02Speaker 1: awful scandal thing they find. It's common practice for every president.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Obama was blowing up people all over the world with
- 8:09Speaker 1: his drones and in the process killed a lot of
- 8:12Speaker 1: innocent civilians. If you go to my Twitter, you will
- 8:17Speaker 1: find video up there today. It's Obama making a speech.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Apparently it was slict a little flak about all the
- 8:23Speaker 1: civilians he was blowing up while going after Narco terrorists.
- 8:27Speaker 1: He was, you know, you can't help it. You're gonna
- 8:30Speaker 1: hit some civilians. Remember once even bombed a wedding. So
- 8:34Speaker 1: it's a video of Obama saying, look, it's terrible that
- 8:38Speaker 1: civilians are getting killed during these bombings. He said, something
- 8:41Speaker 1: will haunt us for the rest of our lives. But
- 8:43Speaker 1: it has to be done because we're saving millions of
- 8:46Speaker 1: lives by and if we have to lose a few
- 8:48Speaker 1: citizens in the process, it's going to have So now
- 8:52Speaker 1: this is Obama. Remember he said Democrat, So this was
- 8:54Speaker 1: considered very noble of him. He was so noble to
- 8:57Speaker 1: say this. Now Trump does exactly the same thing. He's
- 9:00Speaker 1: a war criminal, he's a Nazi. He's this that. Hey,
- 9:04Speaker 1: Bruce Blakeman announced he was on Fox and Friends. It
- 9:09Speaker 1: was said that he would announced today. He should have
- 9:11Speaker 1: known that he's going on Fox and Friends that he
- 9:14Speaker 1: would do it there. I think he surprised everybody. We're
- 9:16Speaker 1: expecting an announcement later today, but this morning on Fox and Friends,
- 9:20Speaker 1: the biggest, most watched morning show, Blakeman announced, I'm.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Very honored and proud that I'm going to be on
- 9:26Speaker 2: Fox and Friends with you right now to announce that
- 9:29Speaker 2: I'm running for governor of the state of New York.
- 9:30Speaker 2: I'm seeking the Republican and Conservative nominations. We want to
- 9:34Speaker 2: put New York first. We want to make it more affordable,
- 9:36Speaker 2: we want to make New York safer, and we want
- 9:38Speaker 2: to make people in New York happy again.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Now, Blakeman is the greatest county executive in America by far.
- 9:46Speaker 1: County executive is like a governor. He's the governor of
- 9:48Speaker 1: the county, so he's obviously extremely qualified to be governor.
- 9:53Speaker 1: He'll do a phenomenal job. He's proven that in the
- 9:55Speaker 1: last four years. All he's got to do is the
- 9:56Speaker 1: same exact thing for the whole state. And that's what
- 9:59Speaker 1: he was talking doing.
- 10:00Speaker 2: We're gonna win. We're gonna win because in Nassau County,
- 10:03Speaker 2: which is a mirror image of New York State, the
- 10:06Speaker 2: demographics are almost the same. I got almost a third
- 10:10Speaker 2: of the African American vote, when most Republicans only get
- 10:13Speaker 2: like nine percent. I got fifty six percent of the
- 10:15Speaker 2: Hispanic American votes. I got independent women, I've got independent men,
- 10:19Speaker 2: crossover democrats. We won by thirty six thousand votes in
- 10:22Speaker 2: a county with one hundred and ten thousand more Democrats.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Yeah, now people will sit well. At least the phonic
- 10:28Speaker 1: you know, y's great, at least the funds. She's a
- 10:30Speaker 1: fighter's yeah, yeah she is. But Blakeman has a track
- 10:33Speaker 1: record of actual, real accomplishment as a governor of Nassau County.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Real accomplishment I'm ready for the fight, and I'm going
- 10:40Speaker 2: to fight for New Yorkers. I'm going to make sure
- 10:42Speaker 2: that we do have economic prosperity. I'm fighting for your
- 10:45Speaker 2: children and your grandchildren so that they have a bright future.
- 10:48Speaker 2: We're going to create prosperity. We're going to make New
- 10:51Speaker 2: York safer. We're going to make it the Empire state again.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I was watching. He was on a bunch of
- 10:56Speaker 1: TV shows this morning. One of these shows they thought
- 10:58Speaker 1: they had him. You know, you say to fix the state,
- 11:01Speaker 1: you'll do better than care. What would you do that,
- 11:03Speaker 1: Kathy Hokal hasn't done name one thing. Well, he rattled
- 11:05Speaker 1: up like twelve right away that were all great, I'll
- 11:08Speaker 1: get rid of no bail, no jail, I'll do this,
- 11:10Speaker 1: I'll do that. Now what does Trump do? President Trump
- 11:14Speaker 1: has been backing a last staphonic for this, but he
- 11:18Speaker 1: loves Bruce Blakeman, and well we's asked about it, Colors,
- 11:23Speaker 1: at least is among those who is running for you, Governor.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman, who you also know are you planning on
- 11:34Speaker 2: making any endorsements for?
- 11:36Speaker 3: He's great and she's great. They're both great people. We
- 11:38Speaker 3: have a lot of great people at the Republican Party. Yeah.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Now Trump loves them both, but he's known Blakeman a
- 11:44Speaker 1: lot longer. And let's put it this way. If he
- 11:48Speaker 1: didn't know these two people, if he had no idea
- 11:50Speaker 1: who they were, and Trump was the CEO and had
- 11:53Speaker 1: to hire somebody to run New York, and he brought
- 11:58Speaker 1: these two strangers, and he would go with blake and
- 12:00Speaker 1: he would look at their records and say, well, they're
- 12:01Speaker 1: both good. But you're a legislator, and you are brilliant
- 12:05Speaker 1: at legislating and at hearings in the Congress, you're great.
- 12:10Speaker 1: But Blakeman is a manager, he's a governor, and he's
- 12:14Speaker 1: got a track record. He's got the experience doing exactly
- 12:17Speaker 1: the stuff this job needs. You don't at least defint.
- 12:20Speaker 1: So that's I don't know what he does. Because the
- 12:24Speaker 1: other problem is they've promised at least deefonic all sorts
- 12:27Speaker 1: of stuff over the last year. You know, do this,
- 12:29Speaker 1: do that, and we'll you know, we'll So he's got
- 12:31Speaker 1: a problem there, but Trump will figure it out, and
- 12:34Speaker 1: I would assume in the end he's going to back
- 12:38Speaker 1: Bruce Blakeman. So anyway, we'll get back to that Now
- 12:42Speaker 1: the other thing is the Republican Party. There's a New
- 12:44Speaker 1: York Republican Party. They say, well, it's at least dephonic,
- 12:47Speaker 1: we're not having a primary. But this Republican Party, they're
- 12:51Speaker 1: very nice people in New York. But the party is
- 12:53Speaker 1: like a little tiny thing with three people in it,
- 12:56Speaker 1: and they don't raise much money. They're not much of
- 12:58Speaker 1: a force in New York at all, as you saw
- 13:01Speaker 1: in the mayoral race. They're not much of a force.
- 13:03Speaker 1: So Blakeman has a Republican Party in Nasau County that's
- 13:06Speaker 1: actually raised more money than the state Republican Party, that's
- 13:10Speaker 1: probably more powerful. So that's going to count for a lot.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Uh Ooh. Jimmy Kimmel, Now this is supposed to make
- 13:19Speaker 1: him look good. You know, there was tremendous controversy. He
- 13:23Speaker 1: was suspended, he was going to get fired. They were
- 13:25Speaker 1: getting rid of them. They were going to fire him.
- 13:27Speaker 1: They didn't fire him, They kept them. ABC brought them back.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Everything's great, you're back. Well, this the whole idea of
- 13:37Speaker 1: this thing now was to make it look like Jimmy
- 13:39Speaker 1: Kimmel is all set. You're going to see the headlines
- 13:44Speaker 1: all over the fake news late night host Jimmy Kimmel
- 13:47Speaker 1: has been re signed signs a big new contract with
- 13:50Speaker 1: ABC to continue as the late night host. Now you're thinking, wow,
- 13:57Speaker 1: everything's great, they re signed him. Not really, not really.
- 14:02Speaker 1: This is one of the greatest hoaxes ever. Fake news
- 14:05Speaker 1: not reporting this. They signed them to the most insulting
- 14:09Speaker 1: contract in the history of late night. Nobody has ever
- 14:14Speaker 1: been insulted like this in late night TV. When you
- 14:16Speaker 1: sign a contract, a television contract, it's always five years.
- 14:20Speaker 1: It's a five year contract. Sometimes it's ten years, like
- 14:23Speaker 1: in the case of Oprah, it would be a ten
- 14:25Speaker 1: year deal. When you're really big and established for years,
- 14:28Speaker 1: like Regis would get like a ten year deal. But
- 14:30Speaker 1: it's always a five year deal. Network always wants that.
- 14:34Speaker 1: It protects them too, because if you get, you know,
- 14:36Speaker 1: when you're really big, well for five years, you got
- 14:38Speaker 1: your salary locked in. You won't be able to hold
- 14:41Speaker 1: them up up for more money. They just resigned Kimmel
- 14:45Speaker 1: to a one year extension. It's not a new contract,
- 14:49Speaker 1: it's a one year extension. That is the most insulting
- 14:52Speaker 1: thing you can do to somebody. It's really insulting. Nobody
- 14:57Speaker 1: has ever had this happen in late night it's always
- 14:59Speaker 1: a five year contract. Now, once in a while, you
- 15:01Speaker 1: get a host who doesn't want five years, he'll beg
- 15:04Speaker 1: for a three year contract. That way, he's got a
- 15:06Speaker 1: little flexibility. But the only other time this ever happened
- 15:11Speaker 1: in the history of late night TV was Johnny Carson,
- 15:13Speaker 1: and it's the reason he left the Tonight Show. He
- 15:16Speaker 1: was so insulted by it he left the Tonight Show.
- 15:18Speaker 1: It was nineteen ninety one. Carson every five years would
- 15:23Speaker 1: sign a new contract, and it was a ritual. Every
- 15:27Speaker 1: five years, he and his manager, Ed hook Stratton, his agent,
- 15:31Speaker 1: would go to a nice restaurant in Beverly Hills called
- 15:34Speaker 1: the Grill, which was a big business lunch kind of place.
- 15:38Speaker 1: They would go to the Grill, Hook Stratton and Carson
- 15:41Speaker 1: and have lunch with the NBC executives who would bring
- 15:43Speaker 1: the new five year contract. They would sign it, have
- 15:46Speaker 1: a cordial lunch, and that was it. And that's all
- 15:49Speaker 1: he had to do with NBC every five years. Well,
- 15:52Speaker 1: in ninety one, they went to the lunch to sign
- 15:55Speaker 1: the new five year contract and the NBC executive said, Shannie,
- 16:01Speaker 1: what would you think of a one year contract? And Carson,
- 16:05Speaker 1: with decades of experience in show business, knew exactly what
- 16:09Speaker 1: that meant, and he calculated real fast in his head
- 16:12Speaker 1: that this was the biggest insult. They were trying to
- 16:15Speaker 1: push him out, which is actually kind of what they
- 16:17Speaker 1: were So, without blinking, without hesitating, he said, well, to
- 16:22Speaker 1: tell you the truth, we actually came here to tell
- 16:24Speaker 1: you I'm resigning. I'm leaving the Tonight Show. Hook Stratton stunned,
- 16:28Speaker 1: but he played along quickly. He goes, yes, that's why
- 16:30Speaker 1: we are here to tell you we're leaving, which really
- 16:33Speaker 1: shook up the NBC executive. But Carson said, yeah, that's it.
- 16:36Speaker 1: We decided this, and we came here to tell you
- 16:38Speaker 1: I'm going to leave the Tonight Show. If you want
- 16:40Speaker 1: me to do this final year, we'll do one final year.
- 16:43Speaker 1: But he left because there was nothing more insulting than
- 16:47Speaker 1: a one year extension instead of a real contract. So
- 16:50Speaker 1: Kimmel has received the biggest insult you can receive. Carson
- 16:54Speaker 1: quit over it. Kimmel will not have the courage or
- 16:58Speaker 1: the principle to quit over it. So but it is insulting. Anyway,
