  messages notes being found by customers, consumers in their packaged goods that they get

  my mind goes into puzzle solving, mystery solving mode, and I think,

  well, someone obviously works at a packaging plant, because these are inside sealed

  boxes. Somebody at Nabisco or whatever packaging plant is slipping these things in.

  I mean, that would seem an obvious course of investigation. You know,

  pop up across Pennsylvania. Creepy and cryptic conspiratory notes showing up inside cereal boxes

  and state parks around Pennsylvania are baffling law enforcement officials. Why it matters.

  It's a federal crime to tamper with food products, but so far, no

  one has been caught planting the notes driving the news. Many notes mention secret

  societies, name drops celebrities like Bill Gates and Elon Musk, and are riddled

  with spelling errors. The bizarre phenomenon has caught the attention of the FBI,

  the Food and Drug Administration, and internet sleuths, who dubbed the mystery messages

  Swatara State Park last month when he found one of the messages, told The

  Inquirer another man in Luzerne County told wbre Wyou that he feared his cereal had

  been laced with something after he discovered a note tucked into a box of lucky
• 18:55
  charms he bought at a grocery store. The FBI has declined to say whether

  it's opened an investigation into the origins of the so called shiel Kill notes.

  Per the Inquirer, officials instruct anyone who finds a note in state parks or

  food products to report it to the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources or

  packaging, hanging from trees, along hiking trails and state parks. They have

  been discovered primarily in northeastern and central Pennsylvania. Amateur investigation made by Reddit users

  dubbed the messages schoolkill notes because of their locations seemingly focused around Schoolkill County.

  Reddit has a sub forum dedicated to investigating the mystery, with over twenty thousand

  members as of March twenty twenty four. Twenty is that twenty thousand or is

  three, over one hundred emails and phone calls have been made to law enforcement

  with reports of mysterious notes. Some of the notes were found in sealed food

  packages and beauty products. Local, state, and federal authorities initiated investigations,

  including the Food and Drug Administration. Congressman Dan Muser and Matt Cartwright expressed their

  concern about the notes, worrying the public. Crowdsourced Google maps suggests that at

  least one hundred and thirty nine individual notes have been discovered as of February twenty

  twenty four. Earliest social media report of a found note comes from twenty nineteen,

  approximately two by three inches. They are found folded in product packaging, pockets

  of store bock clothes, or packed into a plastic bag, closed with a

  string and attached to trees along trails. Messages printed on school Kill notes very

  greatly. They usually contain nineteen lines of text printed in narrow font. The

  common theme in the text is secret societies ooh, their symbolism and their connections

  to business, culture, nations, history, and government. So, in

  other words, a lot of the things we talk about here the sort of

  parapolitical intrigue. But we just have a podcast. We don't go around slipping

  notes into cheerios or lucky charms. See, this is the thing. The

  notes seem to combine multiple conspiracy theories. School Kill notes mention cultural phenomena such

  as Lord of the Rings and Disney. Government themes appearing in the notes include

  New World Order, Nazism, CIA, FBI, Federal Judiciary of the United

  States Drug Enforcement Agency, European Union, World Bank, Hamas, Vladimir Putin,

  John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Barack Obama, Donald Trump, British Royal family,

  Dali Lama, and the Pope. Media and companies mentioned on the notes include

  Fox News, CNN, Google, Bing, Pfizer, Astrazenica, bayer Ford,

  Toyota, Audi, Mazda, BM, Double U, Subaru, Pillsbury,
• 24:26
  Aquafina, Folgers, Ness Cafe, Domino's, Exxon, Sonoco, Oprah,
• 24:33
  Wimfrey, and Elon Musk. That's quite a collection. The notes have

  been reported found from as far east as Easton to as far west as Johnstown.

  Johnstown. Northernmost report of a note was from Lakawana State Park, whereas

  southernmost report comes from Gaithersburg in Maryland. They were discovered in a variety of

  products such as Lucky Charms, Lint Chocolate, Nature's Path, Panda Puffs,

  Belvida Cookies, Milk Duds, Hot, Tamali's Candy, Duncan, Hin's Cake

  mix, and Taileanol medication. The products containing cryptic notes were purchased in multiple

  grocery stores such as Walmart, Target, Giant, Weiss Markets, Wegman's,

  Trader, Joe's, Dollar General, CVS Cohle's goodwill, Low's, Cabella's,

  and Aldi. How weird. So I went into the reddit to look at

  this a little bit more carefully, and I want to read an example of

  one of these notes with a little bit of strange music behind me, preferably,

  all right, listen to this. How did a note get into a

  sealed cereal box? That's the question, among others tonight, being asked by

  a Laseran County man. He contacted the FBI about the note, as well
• 26:22
  as the IT team to look into the situation. Twenty two News lead investigator

  are lots of moving parts to this story, but it does appear, based

  on our research thus far, the notes like this are showing up in all

  types of food products from numerous grocery stores about eastern Pennsylvania and beyond. And

  it does appear that the note found Inlizeran County was not put into the box

  of cereal at the point of sale. We're still working in the story and

  looking for answers. Here's what we found. I usually I open up seria

  up just like this. And Joe Miller from Sugar Loaf Township says he couldn't

  believe what he was seeing. He tells the Itam he bought the box of

  Lucky Charms Smore cereal at Luzern County Grocery store on Sunday and opened it on

  Monday night. Oh, I was devastated. I mean I didn't even want

  to eat the cereal. Hello, I have she still had the box here.

  I'm probably devastated. What's inside the cereal or if this note was laced

  with anything? At this point in time, twenty eight twenty two News is

  not showing the name of the store, whether the cereal was purchased, or

  the contents of the note as we continue the search for answers, but we

  can't tell you. The note contains a mashup of words and references to current

  events and conspiracy theories. Miller says his big concern is that somehow a note

  made its way into a sealed food product. I mean, it just bothers

  me. I mean the note. Really, it's not the note that really

  bothers me is just what was These notes are found inside food like kids food

  Now no more contact to the FBI, as do the it. An FBI

  spokesperson had no comment on the note. We did reach out to the manufacturer

  of that serial, General Mills, for comment, we have not yet heard

  back. Now a spokesperson for the store also tells us to investigate the situation.

  similar because a lot of people have been getting them and posting them up on

  Reddit, calling the local news. They're calling the FBI. The reason the

  FBI is involved is because it's a federal crime to tamper with food products.

  But like this guy said, it was sealed inside the plastic bag inside the

  I've got several different examples, and they're all similar. There seems like there's

  a few different versions of these notes that's circulating. I'm not sure at this

  So is this one individual, what is the makeup of such an individual or

  effect of the voices are getting louder now, you know, it would be

  we'd left this paper behind this, you know, hoax journal entry. You
