  Speaker 1: boy boy man. God has been good to me. I

  Speaker 1: can't even I can't even put it into words, man,

  Speaker 1: But I try, though, I try, I try, I try.

  Speaker 1: God does things for me just right on time. He's

  Speaker 1: so cool with it. And I happened to run across

  Speaker 1: Joel Oldstein on television like I often do all the time,

  Speaker 1: and I was sitting there and he had such a
• 0:48
  Speaker 1: timely message for me. A part of it was something
• 0:52
  Speaker 1: that I've said oftentimes about if you really really want
• 0:58
  Speaker 1: to be successful, if you really really want to change,
• 1:02
  Speaker 1: if you really really want to prosper, if you really
• 1:05
  Speaker 1: really want to achieve greatness, if you really really want
• 1:08
  Speaker 1: to have something in life that's worth having, if you
• 1:11
  Speaker 1: really really want to accomplish your goals, you got to
• 1:14
  Speaker 1: push through all of it. He said that when you
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: get closer to it, the more difficult it becomes. Did
• 1:25
  Speaker 1: you hear me? He said, the closer you get to
• 1:29
  Speaker 1: what it is you want or you need, or you
• 1:31
  Speaker 1: have to have, or you would love to be. It
• 1:36
  Speaker 1: gets a little bit more difficult when you get closer.

  Speaker 1: He told this story that's in the Bible that I'd
• 1:45
  Speaker 1: never heard before. This is what he said. He said,
• 1:49
  Speaker 1: there was a man who was paralyzed and he had
• 1:56
  Speaker 1: heard that Jesus was speaking at a house, and so
• 2:01
  Speaker 1: he wanted to get there. So he convinced four of
• 2:05
  Speaker 1: his friends to put him on a stretcher and carry
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: him for hours to get to this house where Jesus
• 2:16
  Speaker 1: was speaking. He said that along the way, these friends
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: said that they went along because he had so much
• 2:27
  Speaker 1: faith that if he could just get to him, it
• 2:31
  Speaker 1: could be better that he could if he could just
• 2:34
  Speaker 1: get over there and he could see him, that he
• 2:36
  Speaker 1: might have a shot at getting here. And so he said,
• 2:39
  Speaker 1: they took out along the way and they walked and
• 2:42
  Speaker 1: they walked, and they walked for hours. And then when
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: they got there, the house was completely filled with people.
• 2:50
  Speaker 1: That was absolutely it was packed wall to wall. There
• 2:54
  Speaker 1: was absolutely no way for the men to get him
• 2:58
  Speaker 1: on that stretcher end to see Jesus. This is a
• 3:01
  Speaker 1: story that uh Joe Losting said is in the Bible.
• 3:04
  Speaker 1: And he was telling it now. I'm just repeating the
• 3:07
  Speaker 1: parts of it I gathered and so he said. They
• 3:11
  Speaker 1: sat there and they went, wow, man, we walked all
• 3:14
  Speaker 1: this weight and it's full, and and and and and
• 3:17
  Speaker 1: and and we can't get there, he said. And then
• 3:21
  Speaker 1: the guy with the affliction told the four men, if
• 3:27
  Speaker 1: you get up on the roof and cut a hole
• 3:30
  Speaker 1: in it and lower me down, I bet I could
• 3:35
  Speaker 1: see him then, and I bet it to be all
• 3:37
  Speaker 1: right now. He then said, you must have imagined how
• 3:42
  Speaker 1: these four men must have felt when you carry somebody
• 3:46
  Speaker 1: for hours on on on on on on on the way.
• 3:50
  Speaker 1: They had to carry some cloth connected by a couple
• 3:52
  Speaker 1: of sticks, said the me and shoulders had to be bruised,
• 3:56
  Speaker 1: had to have deep gouges in them, not cuts, but
• 3:59
  Speaker 1: just indentations where they had carried the weight of this
• 4:02
  Speaker 1: grown man for so many hours. And they looked at
• 4:05
  Speaker 1: him in disbelief, like, man, what are you talking about?
• 4:08
  Speaker 1: We done walked all this far? He said, yeah, But
• 4:10
  Speaker 1: if you get up on that roof and you cut
• 4:12
  Speaker 1: a hole in it and lower me down, I can
• 4:17
  Speaker 1: see him, and when he see me, it'll be all right.

  Speaker 1: After sitting there and imploring the men they went up
• 4:25
  Speaker 1: and did just that, and then the story that Joel
• 4:30
  Speaker 1: os Dean said, the man was healed. But the point
• 4:33
  Speaker 1: he was making was he was saying that the closer
• 4:38
  Speaker 1: you get to what it is you really want, the
• 4:41
  Speaker 1: more difficult it's going to become. But you've got to
• 4:44
  Speaker 1: push through. See. If you don't push through, you never know. See,
• 4:48
  Speaker 1: you can't get right to the answer. And because it
• 4:51
  Speaker 1: gets really difficult, started creating those little saying that we
• 4:55
  Speaker 1: got as people. Well, I guess it wasn't meant to be.

  Speaker 1: I guess it wasn't the Lord's will. Now, man, I
• 5:03
  Speaker 1: guess you should not give up right now. I guess
• 5:06
  Speaker 1: you should keep pressing. I guess you should do more
• 5:09
  Speaker 1: because see, in all of us, in all of us,
• 5:12
  Speaker 1: when you've had enough, I want you to know something.
• 5:15
  Speaker 1: You do have a little bit more in all of us.
• 5:19
  Speaker 1: You can do one more. You know. That's one of
• 5:22
  Speaker 1: my favorite things that I heard, Joel Oldstein said, and
• 5:25
  Speaker 1: it kind of made me feel good. He said, I
• 5:28
  Speaker 1: always feel like I can do one more anything, And
• 5:32
  Speaker 1: I tell my friends all the time, I can do
• 5:35
  Speaker 1: one more, man, I could do one more day. I
• 5:38
  Speaker 1: can do one more anything. Now Here was the jewel
• 5:44
  Speaker 1: that I never really knew that Joel Oldstein and God
• 5:49
  Speaker 1: sent to me I needed to hear. He said that
• 5:54
  Speaker 1: no matter what you're going through, no matter how long
• 5:58
  Speaker 1: the challenge is you've been facing, God has an end
• 6:02
  Speaker 1: date for it all. Did you hear me? No matter
• 6:06
  Speaker 1: what you're going through, no matter what challenge you're facing,
• 6:09
  Speaker 1: no matter what situation you've gotten yourself into, God has
• 6:13
  Speaker 1: an ending date. All you got to do is keep
• 6:17
  Speaker 1: pressing forward. All you got to do is hang in there.
• 6:21
  Speaker 1: All you got to do is don't give up. All
• 6:25
  Speaker 1: you have to do is don't turn back. There is
• 6:28
  Speaker 1: an end date for all of it, even when you
• 6:32
  Speaker 1: think you've had enough. And boy, have I had this
• 6:38
  Speaker 1: conversation with God on several things that I've been going through,
• 6:43
  Speaker 1: and I've even told him, look, I got it, man.
• 6:48
  Speaker 1: He said, just keep hanging on. There is an end
• 6:52
  Speaker 1: date to whatever it is you're going through. There's an
• 6:55
  Speaker 1: end date to your illness, your sickness, your tied of
• 6:59
  Speaker 1: being higher. There's an end date to this relationship that
• 7:04
  Speaker 1: you can't seem to get through, beyond over that's like
• 7:12
  Speaker 1: a cancer to you. There's an end date. But you've
• 7:16
  Speaker 1: got to hang in there. You've got to keep pushing forward.
• 7:21
  Speaker 1: You cannot turn around. You must not go back, because
• 7:25
  Speaker 1: when God gets you through this and you break through
• 7:30
  Speaker 1: to the other side, the reward and the benefit is
• 7:34
  Speaker 1: far greater than the struggle. I oftentimes look at some
• 7:41
  Speaker 1: of the things that God has brought me through in
• 7:43
  Speaker 1: my worst times, and when He brought me through, I went, Wow, Man,
• 7:48
  Speaker 1: now that I understand that, Now that I'm on the
• 7:50
  Speaker 1: other side and I have the benefit of the reward
• 7:53
  Speaker 1: for it, would you do it all again to get that. Yes,
• 7:56
