- 0:45Speaker 5: the old rock and roll and they played two songs,
- 0:47Speaker 5: so you could have two songs from Red Hot Chilli
- 0:49Speaker 5: People two for Tuesday.
- 0:50Speaker 6: Yeah too for Tuesday.
- 0:51Speaker 4: Of course, we used to have Turtleneck Tuesday, as we did.
- 0:54Speaker 6: Got it went well.
- 0:55Speaker 4: During winter as well.
- 0:56Speaker 5: During winter it was and it really fired off sales
- 0:59Speaker 5: of Turtle. It didn't to the point where I noticed
- 1:01Speaker 5: the next to you that didn't sell them anymore.
- 1:03Speaker 4: But the reality is if we did that again, I'd
- 1:06Speaker 4: miss you in your tidy whitey teeth. True, you know,
- 1:08Speaker 4: what I mean, I'm not too fast and it was.
- 1:12Speaker 5: A bit hard to concentrate because of course I could
- 1:14Speaker 5: see your burnt meat petties absolutely pressing at the flesh,
- 1:19Speaker 5: just flopping down.
- 1:20Speaker 4: Keysy.
- 1:22Speaker 3: They weren't flopping down, keysy.
- 1:23Speaker 4: First of all, can I just say how much I
- 1:27Speaker 4: enjoy the fact that you wear your key ring on
- 1:29Speaker 4: your belt? There is that a thing?
- 1:31Speaker 3: Now?
- 1:32Speaker 4: Is that? You know? If you're wearing all your keys
- 1:34Speaker 4: on your belt? That is that a thing? Is it? Well?
- 1:37Speaker 3: I saw the really cool people in the office doing
- 1:39Speaker 3: it like I saw Pugs does it?
- 1:41Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I noticed over at city and where all the
- 1:43Speaker 3: cool people without doing it, young folk. So I put
- 1:46Speaker 3: my keys on my belt just to see how it looks.
- 1:48Speaker 3: What do you reckon?
- 1:49Speaker 6: I haven't seen it yet.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Just have a look right there. No, yeah, well.
- 1:54Speaker 4: I think it looks great man. And a cool, really
- 1:57Speaker 4: funky little cap you're wearing today as well, So that's good.
- 2:00Speaker 3: You have won this cap about one hundred times on there.
- 2:03Speaker 4: But it's just something about it today looks really special.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Cool. I've just found the title Nick Tuesday music. Do
- 2:08Speaker 3: you want to go.
- 2:10Speaker 4: On from nostalgia sake?
- 2:12Speaker 5: Oh?
- 2:14Speaker 6: Yeah, that works?
- 2:16Speaker 4: Looking ship.
- 2:19Speaker 6: Yeahs, Queen.
- 2:22Speaker 4: So good, Yeah, Spacey.
- 2:28Speaker 6: I would.
- 2:33Speaker 5: Oh oh yeah, good show.
- 2:41Speaker 4: Turtle Neck Tuesday.
- 2:45Speaker 6: It's good.
- 2:45Speaker 4: That's pretty sexy good, it's pretty six purpose speaking of
- 2:50Speaker 4: sexy lit a sexy showy head feelings. Keys He's got
- 2:53Speaker 4: another bit of a bit of a moral dilemma that
- 2:56Speaker 4: he needs our advice on Mogi.
- 2:58Speaker 6: Yes.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Also, I've got my first or ever audition coming up,
- 3:02Speaker 3: proper in person audition. I want some advice from two
- 3:06Speaker 3: highly accomplished actors.
- 3:07Speaker 4: The boy did I have to twist some arms to
- 3:09Speaker 4: get you that? Let's get into the tunes though.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Oh hang on, John too Goods coming in as well. Yes, Yes,
- 3:17Speaker 3: at five point thirty to discuss an upcoming tour and
- 3:20Speaker 3: also to play a brand new tune for US.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Great South the Whole Archy.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Keysy.
- 3:28Speaker 4: The Temper Trapped there on the radio Hodnkey Big Show
- 3:31Speaker 4: this Tuesday afternoon, like that June.
- 3:33Speaker 6: From Australia the Man.
- 3:35Speaker 4: Yeah, Yeah, I'm into it. I'm into it now listen.
- 3:37Speaker 3: It's okay when you when you're.
- 3:40Speaker 4: Doing a daily radio show, you know what the audience
- 3:44Speaker 4: might not appreciate is Sometimes there's days where you're already
- 3:47Speaker 4: struggling to sort of come up with ideas. What are
- 3:51Speaker 4: they going to chat about today? You know what I'm saying.
- 3:53Speaker 6: We're here for hours.
- 3:54Speaker 4: Yeah, we're here for like three four hours, five days
- 3:58Speaker 4: a week. And sometimes I'll be honest with you, sometimes
- 4:01Speaker 4: we're all sitting around in our own separate places before
- 4:04Speaker 4: we come into work and we're like, jeez, Louise, what
- 4:08Speaker 4: are we going to talk about today? For God's sake? Yeah,
- 4:11Speaker 4: And that's we've come up with a new idea. And
- 4:14Speaker 4: here it is that shit vanilla radio. Turn that shit off, ja. Yeah.
- 4:26Speaker 3: So vanilla radio is how this came about as Jace
- 4:30Speaker 3: came in today with a great topic about banana fruit bursts.
- 4:33Speaker 5: Say, Jason, now this has been doing the rounds in
- 4:35Speaker 5: our group yet for quite a while. It's been trying
- 4:38Speaker 5: to cream its way to the top.
- 4:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Right, So Jason's like, oh, does anyone even like banana
- 4:42Speaker 3: fruit bursts? And then you suggested we do that as
- 4:44Speaker 3: a big pole, you know, to start the show. And
- 4:47Speaker 3: then it's like, well, that's pretty vanilla radio stuff, Jase.
- 4:49Speaker 3: You know that stuff you might hear on another station,
- 4:51Speaker 3: but not here on rock and roll, but let's have
- 4:54Speaker 3: a crack at it.
- 4:55Speaker 4: So here I was, and I said to my wife,
- 5:00Speaker 4: I see, darling, I feel like we don't have any
- 5:03Speaker 4: treats and had I had an urge and inkling if
- 5:07Speaker 4: you will for fruit bursts.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Wait, have you done the muhy because you don't get
- 5:11Speaker 3: the treats unless you do the mahy jays.
- 5:13Speaker 4: I just come home from work, okay, and and I
- 5:16Speaker 4: just had this urge for fruit bursts, that tangy, fruity
- 5:20Speaker 4: sort of burst burst you get from fruit bursts. And
- 5:24Speaker 4: we were sitting there with my wife and I were
- 5:25Speaker 4: howing into them eating the fruit bursts. There the green ones.
- 5:29Speaker 6: I think, I can see where this is going, and
- 5:31Speaker 6: the strawberry the.
- 5:32Speaker 4: Strawberry ones, I'm particularly fond of the orange ones feelings
- 5:38Speaker 4: j and the lime ones jas.
- 5:40Speaker 3: How do you feel about the banana ones?
- 5:41Speaker 4: But then I was getting to that and then I
- 5:45Speaker 4: we got to the end of the packet and there
- 5:46Speaker 4: were like five banana fruit bursts, and I thought, hang about,
- 5:51Speaker 4: here's a radio topic if ever I thought of one.
- 5:55Speaker 4: Does anyone in the world like banana fruit?
- 5:58Speaker 6: Did you try one?
- 6:00Speaker 4: I've tried one in the past. And it's not a
- 6:02Speaker 4: fruit burst. You don't get a fruit citrusy burst from
- 6:05Speaker 4: a banana lolly.
- 6:06Speaker 3: That's weird.
- 6:07Speaker 4: And it went from there and I went, hang about,
- 6:12Speaker 4: here's an idea. What are all the lollies we hate?
- 6:15Speaker 4: You know, when you get your mixed bag of lollies
- 6:18Speaker 4: black bat black jelly beans for example.
- 6:21Speaker 3: That's right, like a Turkish delight.
- 6:23Speaker 4: Well you know those when you get the mixed chocolates,
- 6:26Speaker 4: you know the mites. You never eat the cherry ones.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Cherry ripe. Yeah, no one needs to.
- 6:31Speaker 4: And I thought, hang about, hang about, there's a big
- 6:34Speaker 4: pole or there's a great sort of three four eight
- 6:37Speaker 4: three scenario.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Yeah, so that's right. So now you've you've told like
- 6:41Speaker 3: a personal relatable story.
- 6:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:43Speaker 3: Now what we do is suggest people text in their
- 6:47Speaker 3: least favorite Chockey's and lollies to three four eight three, right.
- 6:51Speaker 5: And I'd like to give my opinion at some point
- 6:53Speaker 5: what Jasons just said, If that's all right?
- 6:55Speaker 3: Yeah, so Mike, in the next break, what you do
- 6:56Speaker 3: is give a controversial opinion. So for example, I actually
- 6:59Speaker 3: really like the banana fruit right, all right, and then
- 7:01Speaker 3: we'll do that next and in the meantime, people texting
- 7:04Speaker 3: it on three four eight three, will go on the
- 7:06Speaker 3: drawer for a night and day about it.
- 7:07Speaker 4: And I've gotta be honest, don't hang me out to
- 7:10Speaker 4: dry here in New Zealand on three four eight three,
- 7:13Speaker 4: I need your input. Old Hoidy j is going to
- 7:15Speaker 4: look like a complete dufus.
- 7:18Speaker 6: That's great, that's great for the radio.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, And then we go into a rock song
- 7:23Speaker 4: like Blink one eight two.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Now we're doing it.
- 7:25Speaker 2: The Hdichy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy. Tune
- 7:29Speaker 2: in and four on radio.
- 7:31Speaker 4: Got a love a bit of Bruce Springsteen a feelers.
- 7:34Speaker 4: The time is twenty four minutes past four o'clock on
- 7:37Speaker 4: a Tuesday afternoon, which means it's time for this that
- 7:43Speaker 4: ship Pila Radio, turn that shit off. Hoidy Jay and
- 7:50Speaker 4: I had this tremendous idea about when I was eating
- 7:54Speaker 4: a packet of fruit bursts, the lollies there and my
- 7:58Speaker 4: wife and I hoe through the packet and we got
- 8:01Speaker 4: to the end of it and lo and behold, no
- 8:03Speaker 4: one had eaten a banana fruit beer. And I thought
- 8:06Speaker 4: to myself, hang about, hang about that's a topic for
- 8:08Speaker 4: radio right there. And then it led on too what
- 8:12Speaker 4: other lollies do we hate in the lolli back, and
- 8:15Speaker 4: you had an opinion on this, Magi.
- 8:18Speaker 5: The funny thing is, man, I sort of take your
- 8:22Speaker 5: point then, but banana fruit bursts are my favorite.
- 8:25Speaker 4: What you're joking?
- 8:28Speaker 5: Absolutely love them, And then you're saying, like, you know
- 8:31Speaker 5: what other shockers are there around? Black jelly beans my
- 8:34Speaker 5: favorite as well, and just like so much.
- 8:39Speaker 6: Love a cheery rite.
- 8:40Speaker 4: Ah.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Yeah, that is so contrasting the text machine. Yo, what's
- 8:47Speaker 3: on the text machine? What is the audience out there?
- 8:50Speaker 4: Let's be honest. This is what this is all about.
- 8:53Speaker 3: It is three four eight trees and number of text
- 8:56Speaker 3: If you want to be part of Vanilla Radio, what
- 8:58Speaker 3: lollies do you hate? Good ey flowers, I'm quite a
- 9:04Speaker 3: fan of black jelly beans, Turkish Delight, and cherry ripes,
- 9:07Speaker 3: But nah, banana fruit bursts can shove it. That's from Adam.
- 9:11Speaker 3: That is cool, not Adam Gilcrest. That's a different segment.
- 9:16Speaker 3: You're a dufus hoidy jajament hang on, But but banana
- 9:25Speaker 3: is not a fruit burst. Licorice all sorts of no
- 9:27Speaker 3: good either.
- 9:29Speaker 6: I disagree there.
- 9:29Speaker 5: I love I love licorice, but take his point.
- 9:33Speaker 3: Who was that, Darryl?
- 9:35Speaker 4: Darryl, that was neat?
- 9:39Speaker 3: How about this hot hot take?
- 9:42Speaker 4: Hot take? Yeah cool?
- 9:44Speaker 3: Banana? Fruit burst should be pineapple flavored. And then it's
- 9:48Speaker 3: coming from someone who doesn't actually mind them.
- 9:50Speaker 4: Actually that's a really good point, because you think of
- 9:54Speaker 4: your pineapple. It is a bit citrusy.
- 9:57Speaker 5: But I don't know where you're geting. They're called fruit
- 9:59Speaker 5: burst citrus purse.
- 10:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I know.
- 10:01Speaker 3: But guys, but you got your line.
- 10:04Speaker 4: You've got your orange, sure, you got your strawberry sure,
- 10:08Speaker 4: so not citrus?
- 10:09Speaker 3: Are you saying change banana to pineapple? That's a yeares
- 10:12Speaker 3: from Hoidy J.
- 10:13Speaker 4: Absolutely it is.
- 10:17Speaker 5: I'm not willing to get rid of the banana, but
- 10:18Speaker 5: I'd love to try a pineapple.
- 10:23Speaker 6: What about you?
- 10:23Speaker 5: Here?
- 10:24Speaker 4: Were you at Keezy?
- 10:26Speaker 3: I like the wild bury fruit bursts of the purple ones.
- 10:32Speaker 2: The Hurdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodache

- 12:24Speaker 3: trips that you get yourself in the drawer for there
- 12:26Speaker 3: will be more opportunities to get yourself in there. You're
- 12:28Speaker 3: either having four nights on Mount Panorama watching the bat
- 12:30Speaker 3: first one thousand, including flights and accommodation, or flights and
- 12:34Speaker 3: accommodation for the weekend of your life at the NRL
- 12:36Speaker 3: Grand Final with races on the Sat Day and a
- 12:38Speaker 3: pre match cruise to the game on the Sunday. Do
- 12:40Speaker 3: you want to would you rather? Question?
- 12:41Speaker 4: I just go see Hamish just there again and he's
- 12:45Speaker 4: talking to Park? Is he talking to Parks?
- 12:48Speaker 3: Just concentrate on what's going on this.
- 12:50Speaker 4: I was just trying to avoid another one of your
- 12:51Speaker 4: stupid would you rather questions?
- 12:53Speaker 3: Would you rather be able to travel everywhere for free?
- 12:58Speaker 3: Or eat everywhere for free? It's a goodie? Oh you
- 13:02Speaker 3: like like that one man? Yeah, so what's your answer?
- 13:06Speaker 4: Travel?
- 13:07Speaker 5: Travel travels significantly more expensive, and I'd began all over
- 13:12Speaker 5: the world for free, wouldn't you?
- 13:14Speaker 6: And me? Yeah, you're riding bitch there on the plane.
- 13:18Speaker 4: Takes on the boat.

- 14:02Speaker 5: You're talking about Okay, Hey, I've got some exciting news fellas.
- 14:06Speaker 5: I've got a movie to go do tonight, and it's
- 14:11Speaker 5: a premier yere. It's a New Zealand premiere of something.
- 14:15Speaker 5: It's dead Paul versus Wolverine. Everyone's really excited about saying that. Jesse,
- 14:19Speaker 5: I know you're absolutely fizzing. Yes, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman
- 14:23Speaker 5: bringing back Wolverine. It's going to be a huge film,
- 14:26Speaker 5: huge film. The great news is I don't have to
- 14:29Speaker 5: pay for it either. You guys have all been vye
- 14:32Speaker 5: for my spear ticket that I've got, but I'd like
- 14:36Speaker 5: to take this opportunity. Pugsn how are you?
- 14:38Speaker 4: Man? Hey?
- 14:38Speaker 3: Hey, how's a gun?
- 14:39Speaker 6: I was wondering what you're up to tonight? Man.
- 14:43Speaker 3: I had no plans, man, I was gonna just pop
- 14:46Speaker 3: on home there and watch the Netflix.
- 14:48Speaker 5: Well, I was just wondering if maybe you'd like to
- 14:51Speaker 5: spend the evening with me. I call it a mandate,
- 14:56Speaker 5: and you come with me, and you'd be my partner
- 14:58Speaker 5: on the red carpet, Michael. So you'd be a special
- 15:01Speaker 5: guest of me and of the producers of the film,
- 15:04Speaker 5: and we probably get a photo in front of a
- 15:06Speaker 5: wall that says Deadpool versus Wolverine.
- 15:09Speaker 3: That's my favorite part of going to the movie.
- 15:11Speaker 6: Getting a photo in front of the wall.
- 15:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:13Speaker 6: Okay, great, So.
- 15:14Speaker 4: You've got a choice. Go home, watch Netflix, get your
- 15:19Speaker 4: massive dog roll out, or go on a mandate with Mogi.
- 15:26Speaker 5: What I Before you make a decision, I want you
- 15:28Speaker 5: to know that I'm old school, all right, right, So
- 15:31Speaker 5: I'll be opening doors. The popcorn and treats is going
- 15:35Speaker 5: to be on me. Okay, ah up and drop off,
- 15:40Speaker 5: pick up and drop off. Absolutely absolutely going to meet
- 15:43Speaker 5: the folks. Well, not on the first day. This is
- 15:46Speaker 5: our second date, actually, isn't it, because we went to
- 15:48Speaker 5: post mylone.
- 15:49Speaker 6: Yeah and them biscuit. Oh this is that third day?
- 15:52Speaker 6: Ah so yeah, I mean I am I'm going to
- 15:54Speaker 6: need you to put.
- 15:55Speaker 4: Out king just if I might stick my ore in there.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Your Honker, what the hell's an area?
- 16:08Speaker 4: I've asked pugs On out on three dates just lately.
- 16:13Speaker 4: In fact, I asked him if he wanted to go
- 16:16Speaker 4: to the movies with me to see Long Legs. What's
- 16:19Speaker 4: it called again, Pugson. No, it's long legs, Long legs. Oh,
- 16:24Speaker 4: long leggs, said he because he'd sent me the link
- 16:27Speaker 4: and to show where it was on. And he said, ah,
- 16:30Speaker 4: when you're thinking, And I said, oh, how about Tuesday?
- 16:33Speaker 6: Tuesday nap?
- 16:35Speaker 4: Does he make Wednesday nap? Thursday nap? I've asked him
- 16:41Speaker 4: out on two separate occasions. Beyond that, Mogan, he's never
- 16:45Speaker 4: been available, and can I can? I also add to
- 16:47Speaker 4: the equation, my wife said he had beautiful skin, and
- 16:52Speaker 4: still he refuses to go on a mandate with already Joe.
- 16:55Speaker 6: Actually see that. That creeped him out massively.

- 17:21Speaker 6: My place just down the road from you market too.
- 17:23Speaker 6: Oh really yeah.
- 17:24Speaker 5: Of course, I might drink too much then need somewhere
- 17:28Speaker 5: to crash.
- 17:30Speaker 3: What are you up to tonight, Jace?
- 17:33Speaker 4: My daughter who came over from Austrata. She's going out
- 17:36Speaker 4: with her mates, My wife's got dinner with some friends,
- 17:39Speaker 4: and my little one's staying with the mate.
- 17:40Speaker 6: So oh that sounds fun.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Here's Metallica The Darchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.

- 18:04Speaker 6: Also, it's going by his alter ego, isn't he? What's
- 18:07Speaker 6: that honey too?
- 18:08Speaker 3: Mickey.
- 18:10Speaker 4: Also, Keezy is about to embark on his first ever
- 18:14Speaker 4: audition and need some advice from the Fels.
- 18:16Speaker 3: Yeah, we do a lot of auditions here on the show,
- 18:18Speaker 3: but this is what I've actually been booked for one
- 18:20Speaker 3: and they want me to come in and film an audition.
- 18:22Speaker 6: It's a real deal.
- 18:23Speaker 3: So some advice from you two would be excellent.
- 18:25Speaker 4: All that after five o'clock.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Okay, the whole king Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodike.
- 18:34Speaker 4: Welcome back your mess of backbones. Hope you Tuesday is
- 18:36Speaker 4: going along very nicely. Indeed, you're listening to the big
- 18:38Speaker 4: Show brought to you by Night Day my God Fellas.
- 18:46Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 18:48Speaker 4: Something that's completely flown under the radar for Rold Hoody Jay.
- 18:52Speaker 4: The Olympics start this Friday. I was I used to
- 18:56Speaker 4: massively be into the Olympics. I didn't even realize that
- 18:59Speaker 4: was going on.
- 19:00Speaker 3: Is this breaking news?
- 19:01Speaker 4: I guess, so this is breaking news. I don't even
- 19:06Speaker 4: know where they are. What the Olympic?
- 19:08Speaker 5: Gay Paris? Oh, gay Parie, No, gay Parish. Yeah, that's
- 19:15Speaker 5: Friday there. Yeah, and it goes for a couple of months.
- 19:19Speaker 3: What's your what's your favorite event?
- 19:22Speaker 5: Volleyball men's Yeah, yeah, I like the beach volleyball, though
- 19:29Speaker 5: I like boxing. Yes, I like the gymnastics as well.
- 19:32Speaker 5: I'm a fan of the and all track and field
- 19:34Speaker 5: except for the marathon.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I agree, track and field is just the most exciting.
- 19:39Speaker 4: But do you know what I mean? I used to
- 19:41Speaker 4: be a really big deal. I cannot believe it's about
- 19:43Speaker 4: to happen on Friday? Is it going to be on Sky?
- 19:44Speaker 5: I tell you what it's fascinating about. It's been absolutely everywhere.
- 19:47Speaker 5: So I'm shocked that you missed it.
- 19:49Speaker 4: I swear, I just I vaguely recall people talking about
- 19:53Speaker 4: it in the distance, but I sort of tuned out
- 19:55Speaker 4: and stuff.
- 19:55Speaker 5: Yeah good, it's on Sky twelve channels dedicated before men.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Correctly, no idea, that's me so yeah, that starts soon, Jase.
- 20:06Speaker 3: The reason why it's caught you off off guards because
- 20:08Speaker 3: Tokyo was delayed by a year, so it's only been
- 20:10Speaker 3: three years.
- 20:12Speaker 6: That's what's would be saying. Yeah, it's time for the Olympics.
- 20:17Speaker 4: Yeah, true, but it's a year.
- 20:18Speaker 6: Really next year it's going to be wrong.
- 20:20Speaker 4: That makes sense. He coming up and give Old Kezy
- 20:23Speaker 4: some the relation relationships.
- 20:26Speaker 3: And audition my first actual audition coming up. I need
- 20:31Speaker 3: some tips. Also another chance to potentially go to Bathurst
- 20:34Speaker 3: or the NRL Grand Final with would you rather listen out.
- 20:36Speaker 6: For that QA?
- 20:38Speaker 4: In the meantime, here's system of a down.
- 20:41Speaker 2: The Hdiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hodarky.
- 20:45Speaker 4: Isn't the Queens of the same age here on the
- 20:47Speaker 4: radio Hodarky Big Show this Tuesday afternoon, thirteen minutes past
- 20:51Speaker 4: five o'club Fellers.
- 20:53Speaker 3: This is well. Jase really knows about it, but it's
- 20:54Speaker 3: huge news. After almost two years of trying and practicing
- 20:59Speaker 3: and happening my skills, I've finally landed not a role,
- 21:03Speaker 3: but an audition to get a role, to get a roll,
- 21:07Speaker 3: A proper audition, not just one that we're going to
- 21:09Speaker 3: like practice here on the show and then we send
- 21:10Speaker 3: it off and it goes nowhere. I've actually got to
- 21:12Speaker 3: go into a place film an audition, and I am
- 21:15Speaker 3: freaking out a wee bit sure. Sure, So what I'm
- 21:17Speaker 3: after is you guys just sort of put my fears
- 21:19Speaker 3: at ease.
- 21:19Speaker 5: Can I ask you what it's for? Gain into specifics? Yeah,
- 21:23Speaker 5: but is it? Is it for a TV show or
- 21:25Speaker 5: a movie, or a commercial or a plate.
- 21:28Speaker 3: It's just for a commercial or TV commercial, television commercial.
- 21:31Speaker 4: So it's not a voiceover, No, it's not.
- 21:35Speaker 3: It's sort of a fifteen secondary.
- 21:37Speaker 6: So did you not get this for him?
- 21:40Speaker 3: I'm just see I just feel like he doesn't even
- 21:42Speaker 3: read the stuff.
- 21:43Speaker 4: I'm probing him just to make sure he's aware of
- 21:46Speaker 4: what's going on sure, because knowing him, he will get
- 21:48Speaker 4: the date and then think it's you know, a month
- 21:50Speaker 4: and a month's time and sort of thing.
- 21:53Speaker 3: That's right, that is something I'd do, okay, but I can't. Look,
- 21:57Speaker 3: I can't give away too much because it's under you know,
- 21:59Speaker 3: secret confidential. Yeah, yeah, confidential. And basically I play I
- 22:06Speaker 3: play a farmer and I've got sort of one line.
- 22:09Speaker 4: Oh yeah, okay, cool cool.
- 22:11Speaker 3: So but the thing is, I've never actually been to
- 22:13Speaker 3: an audition where am I going to the recording studio
- 22:16Speaker 3: where they film as.
- 22:17Speaker 4: Well, it'll be it'll be an audition room, it'll be
- 22:20Speaker 4: a casting agency.
- 22:21Speaker 5: So they have their own officers where they do those things.
- 22:24Speaker 5: So they are hired by the production company to cast
- 22:27Speaker 5: the people.
- 22:28Speaker 3: Right, and they specialize just getting the people that they
- 22:31Speaker 3: think you want. Yeah, obviously, see see Jase, I feel
- 22:36Speaker 3: like I can't ask questions because you're just going to
- 22:37Speaker 3: shut me down. You know, I'm new to all this man.
- 22:40Speaker 5: The thing, but that is the role of the agent
- 22:42Speaker 5: to shut you down. And so the more he shuts
- 22:45Speaker 5: you down to these questions, You're going to ask, right, it.
- 22:47Speaker 4: Would be rapiting on for hours otherwise.
- 22:49Speaker 3: But Jase is doing a fantastic job. Is best agent
- 22:52Speaker 3: in New Zealand.
- 22:53Speaker 4: Carry on.
- 22:55Speaker 3: So there's a small room, so like.
- 22:58Speaker 4: Before you even get to a room, right, my recommendation
- 23:02Speaker 4: is before you go to your audition is have a
- 23:05Speaker 4: couple of stiffies.
- 23:06Speaker 6: Yeah, I'd recommend that.
- 23:07Speaker 3: So when you say a couple of stiffies, what do
- 23:09Speaker 3: you mean.
- 23:10Speaker 4: Just a couple of settlers? Yeah yeah, yeah, oh drinks,
- 23:13Speaker 4: yeah yeah, just a couple of little good shots of
- 23:16Speaker 4: body to calm your nerves a little bit.
- 23:19Speaker 3: I think I will be nervous. It is tomorrow, so
- 23:22Speaker 3: I'm freaking out with it. Okay, So a couple of
- 23:24Speaker 3: nerves sitlers. I'm loosey goosey.
- 23:25Speaker 6: I like that.
- 23:26Speaker 4: Yeah, like a hip flask.
- 23:28Speaker 5: Yeah you ran about a happy little too little, too
- 23:31Speaker 5: little tooth and scoot if you've.
- 23:32Speaker 6: Got yeah yeah, but a couple of hits.
- 23:37Speaker 4: So it's just smooth.
- 23:40Speaker 6: Because you are playing a farmer, right, So it's sort of.
- 23:43Speaker 4: You know, it's yeah, yeah, pissed out?
- 23:47Speaker 3: Yeah, well I didn't is that what all fun? I
- 23:49Speaker 3: had no idea the backbones, you know.
- 23:54Speaker 4: Don't get me wrong, right, they love it too, Yeah,
- 23:56Speaker 4: and a bit of.
- 23:57Speaker 5: A shoddy so Then you get in there. You have
- 23:59Speaker 5: a form to fill out, pilatiform. You have to do
- 24:03Speaker 5: your measurements. The agent did you's going to be asked
- 24:09Speaker 5: with the measurement, what can I do that with with you?
- 24:11Speaker 5: Then put your measurements. I don't know what they are.
- 24:14Speaker 5: Then you'll sit there and wait. They'll probably be running late,
- 24:17Speaker 5: and then you'll get called into the room. Embarrass yourself, leave,
- 24:20Speaker 5: hate yourself.
- 24:21Speaker 3: This isn't this isn't really putting my mind at ease, Like, first,
- 24:26Speaker 3: what should I wear? Should I wear? Like formal?
- 24:28Speaker 6: You're going to dressed up like a farmer? Yeah, full farmer.
- 24:32Speaker 5: Yeah, it's one of those things because you want to
- 24:34Speaker 5: make a good impression.
- 24:35Speaker 4: If you can find some hate to chew on as well.
- 24:37Speaker 5: Yeah, but you don't want your costume to do all
- 24:39Speaker 5: of the work because you want to You want the
- 24:42Speaker 5: character of a farmer to be coming out of your
- 24:44Speaker 5: pause and regardless of the costume you were, and you
- 24:47Speaker 5: want them to think, Jesus, guy's a farmer.
- 24:49Speaker 3: So far as you would wear a suit right to show. Yeah,
- 24:52Speaker 3: it's not the clothes, it's the performance, okay, suit yes, okay?
- 24:57Speaker 3: Then and some hate your birthday.
- 24:59Speaker 6: Suit because then it's a true performance.
- 25:03Speaker 3: It is, right, it's distracting you from well then from
- 25:07Speaker 3: the performance.
- 25:08Speaker 4: You know, certainly not your little button mushroom.
- 25:11Speaker 3: Right, okay, And how long does it usually last for?
- 25:13Speaker 4: Well, all it depends on the performer. I mean they
- 25:15Speaker 4: know pretty much straight away, right, you know when they
- 25:18Speaker 4: look at you, So it could be very quick, keasy,
- 25:21Speaker 4: or they might look at you and go, actually, right,
- 25:24Speaker 4: something about this film?
- 25:25Speaker 3: Well, hopefully it's that one.
- 25:26Speaker 6: Then what's the line?
- 25:28Speaker 3: Well, you can't, but essentially the line is something along
- 25:32Speaker 3: the lines of but not precisely. Yeah, okay, but like.
- 25:38Speaker 6: A farmer, you do it like a farmer.
- 25:40Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, that's good.
- 25:43Speaker 3: Actually, yeah, okay, okay, so just get in there I
- 25:45Speaker 3: would and scoot birthday suit.
- 25:49Speaker 5: Yes, But also with the line, they're very flexible with
- 25:52Speaker 5: the dialogue sort of make up whatever you want.
- 25:54Speaker 3: Oh that's good to know, because I thought they were
- 25:55Speaker 3: really strict about that.
- 25:56Speaker 4: They love actors that come in and can then provise. Okay,
- 26:01Speaker 4: just throw away the script and just do their own thing.
- 26:04Speaker 6: Yeah, the script and there so you can throw it
- 26:06Speaker 6: away in the room.
- 26:07Speaker 3: Because that was working really hard on that script though,
- 26:09Speaker 3: So does that.
- 26:09Speaker 5: What was the lining in. Yeah, okay, see what I'm saying.
- 26:13Speaker 5: Yeah right, okay.
- 26:16Speaker 6: The more words that you can say, the bitter your chance.
- 26:18Speaker 4: I would go monologue actually because you know you want to.
- 26:23Speaker 4: You want them to see all of your gifts and
- 26:25Speaker 4: your talents Keezy.
- 26:26Speaker 6: Seen at the end of goodwill hunting.
- 26:28Speaker 5: I think it is the way to go perfect, perfect, Well,
- 26:31Speaker 5: thanks fellas, get it then break a lead.
- 26:34Speaker 4: Yeah, well let us know how you get on keys.
- 26:35Speaker 4: Of course I want you to do well because it
- 26:37Speaker 4: means a bit of moolah for old Hoidy j.
- 26:39Speaker 3: I thought you said it was unpaid.
- 26:41Speaker 4: No, I was paid all right, the whole arky big shirt.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Wed days from four on Radio Hidarchy, Radio Hodarchy.
- 26:50Speaker 4: Would you indeed, would you rather the NRL Grand Final

- 27:06Speaker 4: How can it not be the living Munga Fi?
- 27:08Speaker 3: Do you?
- 27:09Speaker 7: Yes?
- 27:10Speaker 4: I do? Yeah, it's beautiful today, was it?
- 27:13Speaker 3: It's beautiful?
- 27:13Speaker 4: It's beautiful any day even if it's true bloody good,
- 27:16Speaker 4: that's true.
- 27:17Speaker 6: Hey, what do you?
- 27:17Speaker 5: Jay is going to do this thing where he tries
- 27:19Speaker 5: to guess everybody what they're going to go with, because
- 27:21Speaker 5: I think he's about ten percent right so far.
- 27:24Speaker 4: What are you reckon?
- 27:24Speaker 6: Cristelle is going to go for? Mate?
- 27:26Speaker 1: Oh?
- 27:26Speaker 4: Look, I wouldn't want to presume, Ah, Cristal just out
- 27:31Speaker 4: of interest. By the way, what do you do for
- 27:33Speaker 4: a crust? I build with my husband?

- 27:53Speaker 4: so yeah, that'd be awesome if we won. Well, let's

- 28:49Speaker 3: Hey, four nights Mount Panorama with flights and accommodation. That's
- 28:53Speaker 3: a pretty good price.
- 28:53Speaker 4: Can I just clarify?
- 28:54Speaker 6: So?
- 28:55Speaker 4: Can I just clarify?
- 28:57Speaker 3: Grand Final?
- 28:57Speaker 4: Are you four nights on Mount Pana Paranama Panama Panamara?
- 29:04Speaker 6: Yes?
- 29:05Speaker 4: So like ting ting or something.
- 29:07Speaker 3: No, it's the full, it's the full race to experience.
- 29:08Speaker 3: I'm not sure where you're staying. We wouldn't put you
- 29:10Speaker 3: in a tent all right, but either way with you
- 29:14Speaker 3: choose that or the n our Grand Final. It's pretty amazing. Hey, guys,
- 29:16Speaker 3: would you rather, all right, be trapped in a food
- 29:20Speaker 3: fight or a water balloon fight? Be trapped well, you know,
- 29:24Speaker 3: for an hour? A water balloon fight or a food fight?
- 29:28Speaker 6: Did you just make that up?
- 29:30Speaker 4: It feels like it feels like we're scraping the bottom
- 29:34Speaker 4: of the barrel there, cheezy, would you rather.
- 29:36Speaker 6: Scrape the bottom of the barrel? We'll have some good suggestions.
- 29:40Speaker 3: I mean, personally, I go food fight because at least
- 29:42Speaker 3: that way you might be able to have a bite
- 29:43Speaker 3: to eat.
- 29:44Speaker 5: You walk around with your mouth open, wouldn't you? I'd
- 29:47Speaker 5: go water balloons for myself.
- 29:49Speaker 3: What about you, Jason?
- 29:51Speaker 6: What would you go for? Jase?
- 29:54Speaker 3: The food fight or water balloon fight?
- 29:57Speaker 4: I go food fight, I go food fight.
- 30:00Speaker 6: Is this vanilla radio?
- 30:03Speaker 5: No?
- 30:03Speaker 3: I don't know what flavor this radio is, but it's
- 30:05Speaker 3: not very nice.
- 30:06Speaker 4: Hey what I tell you what' Speaking of great radio,
- 30:09Speaker 4: We've got John too Good next to the studio.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Very excited. He's got a brand new single and he's
- 30:13Speaker 3: also speaking about his debut solo album, Too Good.
- 30:18Speaker 2: The Hodiarchy Big show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune.
- 30:21Speaker 4: In four on Radio ke Let's have indeed Nirvana there
- 30:26Speaker 4: on the radio. Holdankee big show this Tuesday afternoon and
- 30:29Speaker 4: very excited, very excited about our next guess he's a legend,
- 30:34Speaker 4: an icon, a rockster. I'm talking about the one and
- 30:38Speaker 4: only John too Good. How are you a mad bass?
- 30:41Speaker 1: I'm pretty bloody good.
- 30:42Speaker 4: Bro excited, John.
- 30:44Speaker 8: I am excited? Actually yeah, yeah, doing new stuff is
- 30:47Speaker 8: always exciting to me.
- 30:48Speaker 4: Yeah, because you're you're releasing your debut solo album and
- 30:52Speaker 4: I'm curious about this is the more anxiety for you
- 30:57Speaker 4: because it's a solo album. You know, It's like if
- 31:00Speaker 4: you're playing sport and a team, right and you have
- 31:03Speaker 4: a great victory, you're sharing it as a team. If
- 31:06Speaker 4: you're playing sport and you have an absolute shitter and
- 31:09Speaker 4: you get humiliated, you share in that humiliation.
- 31:11Speaker 1: To what I'm saying is.
- 31:13Speaker 4: You have all the pressure on you because it's solo.
- 31:15Speaker 4: Now occurred to him until more pressure about that? John,
- 31:22Speaker 4: I don't it's good. I don't care. I literally wrote
- 31:26Speaker 4: this music for me. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, And
- 31:29Speaker 4: it was like, well, this is definitely not shehad stuff
- 31:32Speaker 4: she is.
- 31:33Speaker 1: This is real personal stuff. So I just.
- 31:36Speaker 8: Needed to grab my guitar and sort my shit out,
- 31:39Speaker 8: basically by writting a.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Whole bunch of songs.
- 31:41Speaker 3: And are we talking acoustic?
- 31:44Speaker 8: It started that way, yeah, Like when I first wrote it,
- 31:47Speaker 8: it was designed to just be able to be playing
- 31:49Speaker 8: on a guitar and sing and which makes you right
- 31:53Speaker 8: differently anyway, because you can't go, oh, that doesn't quite work, but.
- 31:57Speaker 1: I'll just cover it up with a guitar.
- 31:58Speaker 8: But yeah, it's like literally it's got to work from
- 32:00Speaker 8: start to finish. And and then I played it to
- 32:05Speaker 8: my mate Scott Horscroft, who's his producer in Australia. He
- 32:07Speaker 8: produced Empire of the Sun. He co wrote straight lines
- 32:12Speaker 8: by silver Tea.
- 32:13Speaker 5: You know.
- 32:15Speaker 8: So he's a real good pop guy and he's the
- 32:17Speaker 8: same age me fifty two, got say two kids, same
- 32:20Speaker 8: age as well, and he just got the lyrics and
- 32:23Speaker 8: went come over with my studio. He had a few
- 32:25Speaker 8: mates come and play on it, piano, violin, drums.
- 32:30Speaker 3: It just sounds awesome, just came together because the started
- 32:33Speaker 3: that you said you started by writing it. Did you
- 32:35Speaker 3: write it so that you could just perform at solo
- 32:37Speaker 3: where you went?
- 32:37Speaker 1: Absolutely?
- 32:38Speaker 3: And is that quite a common way to write music
- 32:40Speaker 3: or is that nah?
- 32:41Speaker 8: I mean, but I did start when I was seven
- 32:43Speaker 8: years old. I started on acoustic guitar. That's where I started,
- 32:46Speaker 8: and it's it was just one of those things I've
- 32:48Speaker 8: been playing the solo shows, going this is cool, this
- 32:51Speaker 8: is fun, like it's real.
- 32:53Speaker 1: I just do it to entertain.
- 32:54Speaker 4: People, because yeah, quite a bit of solo.
- 32:58Speaker 8: Yeah man, But I'm playing I'm playing sort of like
- 33:00Speaker 8: covers from my childhood. I'm playing Bowie, I'm playing you know, exponents,
- 33:05Speaker 8: and then I'm playing she But even that feels like
- 33:09Speaker 8: playing covers a little bit. Even though I wrote it,
- 33:12Speaker 8: and I just wanted to have my own stuff to play,
- 33:14Speaker 8: and so I just took that three year period of
- 33:18Speaker 8: everything stopping for COVID and also I had a lot
- 33:22Speaker 8: of personal carnage lost my mom, lost my brother in law,
- 33:26Speaker 8: got a COVID complication that turned my tonight's.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Up to twelve.
- 33:31Speaker 8: So there was lots to work through and music is
- 33:33Speaker 8: my way of working through shit.
- 33:35Speaker 5: You know, if you will, Losing a parent is obviously
- 33:38Speaker 5: one of the biggest events that can happen to you
- 33:40Speaker 5: as a love It feels like a real handover. And
- 33:42Speaker 5: when you when you have something like that that occurs
- 33:45Speaker 5: in your life, are you straight away inspired to music
- 33:48Speaker 5: or is it a gradual thing or do you get
- 33:50Speaker 5: writer's block?
- 33:51Speaker 8: No, no, straight away. I just grabbed my guitar because
- 33:53Speaker 8: I was feeling bad. So that's whenever I've ever gone
- 33:56Speaker 8: felt confused, lost, sad, I always grammar guitar. That's what
- 34:01Speaker 8: I've done since I was a kid. And yeah, and
- 34:04Speaker 8: it helps me make sense of the world.
- 34:05Speaker 4: You know.
- 34:06Speaker 8: It was really unusual circumstances. I was in lockdown and Melbourne.
- 34:10Speaker 8: Mum was dying in Wellington. I had to say goodbye
- 34:13Speaker 8: on the phone, so it was like it was yeah,
- 34:15Speaker 8: it was. It was pretty intense, so It was all
- 34:17Speaker 8: a bit surreal, you know when you when I was
- 34:20Speaker 8: with my dad when he passed, and if you see
- 34:23Speaker 8: it in front of your eyes, it makes it a
- 34:25Speaker 8: bit easier to deal with, you know, like because well
- 34:27Speaker 8: it's still hard, but it's like your body accepts.
- 34:29Speaker 1: It because you've seen it. This was weird, you know,
- 34:32Speaker 1: like it was.
- 34:32Speaker 3: Like a bit of disconnected it.
- 34:34Speaker 8: Well, I was my sister was holding her phone up
- 34:37Speaker 8: and it was like, well.
- 34:39Speaker 4: That was so much the case, wasn't it. During the
- 34:41Speaker 4: sort of height of COVID there was so many people
- 34:44Speaker 4: wanting to be with the people they loved who were passing,
- 34:46Speaker 4: And yeah, that's just a horror show.
- 34:48Speaker 1: It is intense, you know.
- 34:50Speaker 8: And it was like, but that's and so grammar guitar, Yeah,
- 34:54Speaker 8: grammar guitar, try and make sense of what just happened.
- 34:58Speaker 8: And yeah, out of it came a bunch of songs
- 35:00Speaker 8: which I reckon.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Some of the best are written well awesome.
- 35:04Speaker 3: The tune we're going into now John too good. By
- 35:06Speaker 3: the way, if you've just joined us in the studio
- 35:08Speaker 3: right now, is gravity. So what was sort of inspirations
- 35:11Speaker 3: behind this?
- 35:11Speaker 8: So gravity is sort of towards the end of the
- 35:14Speaker 8: writing process when I'm actually getting my ship together and
- 35:16Speaker 8: going right, Okay, cool, that's happened. Now what I want
- 35:20Speaker 8: my life to look like going forward from here?
- 35:21Speaker 4: All right?
- 35:22Speaker 1: Every day is real precious.
- 35:24Speaker 8: I don't want to waste my time doing anything that's
- 35:26Speaker 8: half fast.
- 35:27Speaker 1: I want to be you.
- 35:28Speaker 8: Know, fully there. So Gravity is sort of an uplifting song, right.
- 35:33Speaker 3: Unfortunately our show is pretty half fast on the wrong foot.
- 35:39Speaker 2: The whole archy big show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy
- 35:42Speaker 2: tune in.
- 35:44Speaker 4: Four on radio and you on there from John two
- 35:50Speaker 4: go gra Gravity. What a tune? John cheers, Bro, thanks
- 35:54Speaker 4: you such a It must be such a buzz, you know,
- 35:58Speaker 4: hearing it b least finally you know what I mean?
- 36:02Speaker 8: Yeah, Well, me and me and Scott the producer have
- 36:04Speaker 8: been sort of like.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Passing emails going I reckon this is pretty good.
- 36:08Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, so it can't wait.
- 36:10Speaker 8: But there's something about the way radio radio station can presses,
- 36:14Speaker 8: grab a good mix and just crank it.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Yeah it sounds good.
- 36:19Speaker 5: You've got a messive tour coming up all across New
- 36:22Speaker 5: Zealand and Australia. I was over there from ninety nine
- 36:26Speaker 5: to two thousand and three, sort of mid two thousand
- 36:28Speaker 5: and three, and you guys were absolutely joy enormous over there.
- 36:31Speaker 5: They really claimed you as you know, she had claimed
- 36:35Speaker 5: you as their sons as well.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Yeah, well yeah, they sort of did.
- 36:40Speaker 8: They started calling us the head.
- 36:44Speaker 5: They're doing a lot of that. They were doing that
- 36:46Speaker 5: to a lot of bands bends around about the same time.
- 36:48Speaker 5: But also, so you're going over to the UK. What's
- 36:51Speaker 5: the vibe over there?
- 36:52Speaker 8: Oh that's awesome, man, We've been there quite a few times.
- 36:56Speaker 1: There's lots of expets over there.
- 36:59Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 36:59Speaker 8: We didn't to play to rugby rugby loving because they
- 37:04Speaker 8: all hang out with each other over there.
- 37:05Speaker 1: You know, it's Australians.
- 37:07Speaker 8: Kiwis in South Africa, Yeah, far out.
- 37:11Speaker 6: So you have you done any solo shows over nah?
- 37:14Speaker 1: Nah, So this will be this will be new for me.
- 37:16Speaker 8: But but that's where I mean, my parents were both
- 37:18Speaker 8: London and so that's where all my family are. So yeah,
- 37:22Speaker 8: so I've been over there plenty of times. So yeah,
- 37:25Speaker 8: it'll be like going home in a little weird way.
- 37:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:28Speaker 3: Beauty, nice, nice, And what's the obviously you're pretty you're
- 37:32Speaker 3: pretty excited about the release of this and going on
- 37:35Speaker 3: the tour today by the way the dates have just
- 37:36Speaker 3: been announced all over the country. I'm sure we'll check
- 37:39Speaker 3: something up at hurdak Do as well. So get amongst it.
- 37:42Speaker 3: When you do have that feeling of like, I think
- 37:44Speaker 3: this is pretty good. You know, you're just fizzing.
- 37:47Speaker 1: I am fizzing.
- 37:48Speaker 8: And and I've even been trying these songs out live
- 37:52Speaker 8: and it's been working real good. Like it's I love
- 37:55Speaker 8: the solo thing because I get to actually talk to people,
- 37:58Speaker 8: whereas and shehad, which is don't get me wrong, I'm
- 38:01Speaker 8: a bit more like a master of ceremonies, going sure,
- 38:03Speaker 8: now jump you know, whereas this is like I get
- 38:06Speaker 8: to be a human. This is about this, here it
- 38:08Speaker 8: is and bang and yeah, it's been great like and
- 38:13Speaker 8: because it's all designed for the guitar and voice, I'm
- 38:15Speaker 8: just going to jump in.
- 38:16Speaker 1: A car and just go everywhere.
- 38:18Speaker 8: And I think I'm playing like seventeen shows around New Zealand.
- 38:20Speaker 4: Man. And I imagine too, John. One of the bonuses
- 38:23Speaker 4: too of doing it solo, so much less admin.
- 38:26Speaker 8: There is and yeah, and all I have to do
- 38:28Speaker 8: is make sure I change the strings before the game.
- 38:30Speaker 3: Yeah, you're taking the wife and kids in the car.
- 38:33Speaker 1: I will good man.
- 38:34Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, for the for the top for the first
- 38:36Speaker 8: two weekends. I think we're going to do that when
- 38:38Speaker 8: we go down south. Maybe not, but yeah, they're coming
- 38:42Speaker 8: to the UK with me because that, yeah, they've got
- 38:45Speaker 8: to meet.
- 38:45Speaker 5: So hard sell to the wife that you're just ducking
- 38:48Speaker 5: off to the UK for for a month totally.
- 38:52Speaker 3: Isn't that just an amazing contrast between for example, the
- 38:55Speaker 3: first tour she hard would have gone on and then now, yeah, now.
- 38:58Speaker 6: How does it computer your faith? No more till you
- 39:00Speaker 6: did over in Europe for them.
- 39:02Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a bit different.
- 39:03Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, yeah, like, yeah, I wasn't sleeping much on
- 39:07Speaker 8: that tour.
- 39:10Speaker 6: Yeah, that was just like, yeah, that's different, kids keeping
- 39:12Speaker 6: you up.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, well.
- 39:14Speaker 8: Actually yeah I don't sleep now actually with kids. Yeah yeah,
- 39:17Speaker 8: but it's a different type of time.
- 39:19Speaker 4: I'm going to be I'm going to be honest with you, John,
- 39:22Speaker 4: Mike and I we have a bit of a shit
- 39:24Speaker 4: show when it comes to sleeping. It's like, as you
- 39:26Speaker 4: get older, you have an infinite you know, there's only
- 39:28Speaker 4: a certain amount of time you can sleep every day, bro,
- 39:31Speaker 4: you know, like six hours and and the body wakes
- 39:33Speaker 4: up easy here he can go sixteen seventeen eighteen hours.
- 39:37Speaker 4: It gets out of be I.
- 39:39Speaker 8: Used to do that, Like we used to go on
- 39:40Speaker 8: tour and then I come home and then I'd be asleep,
- 39:43Speaker 8: like yeah, sixteen hours and.
- 39:44Speaker 1: Just go I feel great up.
- 39:46Speaker 8: Yeah yeah, Now it's like five five, six hours my
- 39:48Speaker 8: body just let's go, let's get moving.
- 39:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 39:52Speaker 3: You guys actually wake me up from a nap to
- 39:53Speaker 3: do this interview. Yeah, yeah stuff.
- 39:55Speaker 4: But hey, John, well, congratulations on the release of the album.
- 39:59Speaker 4: Man can't wait to hear it. It's going to be awesome,
- 40:01Speaker 4: and good luck with the tour. I'm sure it's going
- 40:03Speaker 4: to go off, and I think we will on our
- 40:05Speaker 4: Hodaki website and dates and all that sort of stuff.
- 40:09Speaker 3: Where would you like to send people if they want
- 40:11Speaker 3: to get all the information on the tour and the
- 40:13Speaker 3: new album.

- 40:18Speaker 8: so no h.

- 40:38Speaker 4: I'm like Biden, I need to I need to pull
- 40:41Speaker 4: myself out of the race. You know what I'm saying.

- 40:58Speaker 3: Well, we're going to recap our new segment Vanilla Radio
- 41:02Speaker 3: where we did a deep dive into how many people
- 41:05Speaker 3: in New Zealand don't like banana fruit bursts.
- 41:08Speaker 4: And cherry ripe chocolates and yeah.
- 41:14Speaker 3: Yeah, So if you've got any opinions on that, send
- 41:16Speaker 3: it three to three four eight three and you could
- 41:18Speaker 3: win a fifty on Night and Day voucher.
- 41:19Speaker 4: Yeah. Also, what's on the TV with Mike Man, That's true.

- 41:34Speaker 4: Big Show brought you by night. Yeah, I don't know.
- 41:43Speaker 6: That was pretty good.
- 41:44Speaker 4: I just feel like there's been a lack of commitment
- 41:47Speaker 4: to the.
- 41:47Speaker 3: MIC's coming in too fast.
- 41:49Speaker 4: And and half passing it to im my dad, who
- 41:54Speaker 4: is you?
- 41:55Speaker 5: Oh? But I'm going there's not excuse. There's not only
- 41:58Speaker 5: one note that I can head. I'm going with a
- 42:01Speaker 5: more of a bass note, which requires keasy to slide
- 42:04Speaker 5: in with it. I wanted to be the same thing
- 42:07Speaker 5: every time, you know what I mean? So you know,
- 42:10Speaker 5: you guys are just going to have to peck it up.
- 42:11Speaker 4: It sounded like a yawn.
- 42:13Speaker 6: Well it wasn't right.
- 42:16Speaker 3: God, this is.
- 42:18Speaker 6: We try again again.
- 42:20Speaker 4: No, I'm not going to do it today because that is.
- 42:27Speaker 6: Really nice.
- 42:28Speaker 4: Yeah, really nice. Hey. Now, listen to podcast Outro, which
- 42:31Speaker 4: is a podcast we do on the radio. It's not
- 42:33Speaker 4: on the radio show. It's outside of it. It's outside
- 42:36Speaker 4: of it.
- 42:36Speaker 3: It's bus content we do. It's available every day. It's
- 42:42Speaker 3: seven thirty, along with the highlights package of the show.
- 42:45Speaker 4: I sit there on my couch at home, just tapping
- 42:47Speaker 4: my feet waiting for you know, seven. Yeah.
- 42:52Speaker 3: Here's a couple of today's Outro podcast entitled blah blah.
- 42:57Speaker 3: He's a question. So I was wearing this jacket today
- 42:59Speaker 3: and I don't even think about it.
- 43:00Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what's going to ruin it for you blah blah.
- 43:03Speaker 3: And one of the guys I walked in. The guy
- 43:05Speaker 3: was like, oh damn, you actually looked like a blah blah.
- 43:08Speaker 6: Bye.
- 43:10Speaker 3: I guess like you're going forward dressing sort of.
- 43:15Speaker 5: They will tell you. That will be in the brief
- 43:18Speaker 5: that comes out. Yeah, it tells you what to wear.
- 43:20Speaker 5: But you could seriously embarrass yourself turning up dressing like
- 43:24Speaker 5: a blah blah.
- 43:25Speaker 7: No, not fool blah blah, just as sprinkling of blah
- 43:28Speaker 7: blah by blah blah. We meant it was a certain
- 43:34Speaker 7: character that I actually played. Yes, and I accidentally showed
- 43:37Speaker 7: up sort of dressed like it and felt like a.
- 43:39Speaker 6: Bit of a nod.
- 43:40Speaker 3: But you guys put my worries to bed, which I appreciate.
- 43:43Speaker 3: On accident by accident, did I say on accident again?
- 43:46Speaker 6: Pretty good about it?
- 43:47Speaker 4: Yeah? You said bye? But now I'm saying, oh, so now.
- 43:50Speaker 3: We've gone the other way. That's confusing.
- 43:54Speaker 2: Oh the whole Key Big Show week days from on Radio.
- 44:00Speaker 4: Hod Moby there on the radio Hodarkey Big Show this
- 44:04Speaker 4: Tuesday evening, Let's talk TV. What's on the Telly with
- 44:10Speaker 4: Mike Minogue. Yeah that was prophetic. Well, it was just
- 44:21Speaker 4: no effort from.
- 44:26Speaker 6: But I've got a time you come in with a ah.
- 44:30Speaker 5: Like it was both you were both shocked. But it
- 44:34Speaker 5: don't even as poorly led by Jay, So I thought
- 44:36Speaker 5: that was the big problem. Hey, I finished watching Sugar
- 44:41Speaker 5: Showgun Showgun on like a summer. No problematic, very very
- 44:48Speaker 5: good show. Highly recommend, Holy, highly recommend. It's been. It's
- 44:52Speaker 5: received a lot of nominations for Emmy's, including the lead
- 44:57Speaker 5: actress who is very good, so good man from memory.
- 45:01Speaker 5: Her name is Anna Say. Why interesting about her as
- 45:05Speaker 5: she was born in New Zealand, Yeah, and raised here
- 45:08Speaker 5: until she was ten or twelve before returning to Japan.
- 45:11Speaker 5: So she's absolutely slaying and been nominated for an Emmy Award,
- 45:15Speaker 5: So congrats to Yeah.
- 45:17Speaker 4: Her performance is awesome. It is she It's elegant, it's subtle,
- 45:22Speaker 4: it's just a beautiful performance. I went back to Those
- 45:27Speaker 4: About to Die, which is the Roman series I was
- 45:30Speaker 4: telling you about seven said in the seventeen hundreds, And
- 45:37Speaker 4: it was so bizarre because I was watching it with
- 45:40Speaker 4: my daughter and I was watching this episode and she said,
- 45:44Speaker 4: what the hell is this crap? And it got really
- 45:49Speaker 4: ridiculous and really stupid in the episode we were watching
- 45:54Speaker 4: in terms was it cgi on? All the effects and
- 45:57Speaker 4: stuff was so bad. I went, what the hell was
- 46:01Speaker 4: I watching? But it was really good for the first
- 46:03Speaker 4: three or four episodes, was it and didn't shat its pens?
- 46:08Speaker 5: Last episode that wasn't a final episode, but it was
- 46:11Speaker 5: just like it went from being really good with good acting,
- 46:14Speaker 5: good good storylines, good action, just suddenly just being ridiculous.
- 46:19Speaker 5: So now you're in a place where you don't know
- 46:20Speaker 5: whether you you should continue with yes, yes, very much
- 46:23Speaker 5: so tough.
- 46:24Speaker 6: What's it on? By the way?
- 46:26Speaker 4: Prime?
- 46:27Speaker 3: So last night I went to timmian z Plus and
- 46:30Speaker 3: just double checked whether I had watched the correct Cherry
- 46:33Speaker 3: Tree episode. Turns out I watched a different Cherry Tree episode.
- 46:37Speaker 6: Sure, I had a feeling there was a couple.
- 46:38Speaker 3: Yeah, and so two I was two weeks before you.
- 46:41Speaker 3: So it was actually very interesting. So I was like, oh,
- 46:42Speaker 3: this must be the one that Mogi watched and hated.
- 46:45Speaker 3: So I put that one on. Loved it boring as
- 46:48Speaker 3: batch it thank you like Farm's cool. People were nice,
- 46:51Speaker 3: they were doing great. But in the bit where the
- 46:54Speaker 3: old fellow rolls up, the guy stops getting the hay
- 46:57Speaker 3: and goes how are you going? Hey, looks good yet right?
- 47:00Speaker 3: Well to carry on?
- 47:01Speaker 4: Okay, Yeah, that's how I see Country Calendar's episode seriously well,
- 47:06Speaker 4: and were that they would do two Cheery Tree episodes
- 47:09Speaker 4: and weeks apart. Two weeks apart.
- 47:11Speaker 6: People love the cheery episode. It wasn't there a lot
- 47:14Speaker 6: of it.
- 47:14Speaker 3: There was a lot of Yeah, they're having a meeting
- 47:18Speaker 3: around the table, and we were like, they don't have
- 47:19Speaker 3: that meeting.
- 47:20Speaker 5: No way they're having that meeting. We just catch up
- 47:22Speaker 5: at snow Goo. Yeah, everyone has it. Yeah around all.
- 47:27Speaker 6: The workers around the table. We've never seen these bastards,
- 47:30Speaker 6: an't you?
- 47:31Speaker 3: It was It was pretty boring.
- 47:33Speaker 4: Zerosmith.
- 47:34Speaker 2: What remember the Big Show podcast?
- 47:38Speaker 4: Yeah, Pearl jam there on the radio, Hold Donkey Big
- 47:41Speaker 4: Show this Tuesday evening. Now from here to be a van.
- 47:45Speaker 4: I tell the people all about it. You can't just
- 47:48Speaker 4: come on, man, you're good at these people want to know? Brother,
- 47:52Speaker 4: what is that?
- 47:53Speaker 1: No?
- 47:53Speaker 3: I know, but I feel like we should. There's been
- 47:54Speaker 3: a more natural way to sort of start rather than
