- 0:06The right to offend is not some pesky little part of freedom of
- 0:10speech that we have to put up with.
- 0:12It is the heart and soul and lungs of freedom of speech.
- 0:16It is the coursing lifeblood of human progress.
- 0:19It is the instigator of liberty and modernity and science and
- 0:23understanding. What a laughingstock today's
- 0:27student leaders are that they can so casually dismiss the
- 0:31right to be offensive without realizing that their lovely,
- 0:35enlightened lives are the gifts of individuals who gave offence.
- 0:41Offensiveness is not just something we have to
- 0:44begrudgingly accept. Offensiveness is the motor of
- 0:47human progress. Now broadcasting from the Right
- 0:51to Offend media studios in sunny South Florida, bringing you the
- 0:56latest in politics, current events, art and pop culture.
- 1:00This is the Whitfield Report live with Sam Whitfield.
- 1:05But giving offense is good. In fact, it's essential.
- 1:15Well, good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to
- 1:19tonight's impromptu bonus edition of the Whitfield Report
- 1:25Live. I'm host Sam Whitfield recording
- 1:30here and broadcasting live from right to offend media studios.
- 1:36And I am using a new app tonight.
- 1:40I'm using a program similar to OBS to do this program.
- 1:46So I am partially trying out new, you know, some new stuff
- 1:52with this episode. We're we're upgrading here,
- 1:55folks, we're we're doing cool new things.
- 1:59So hope all is well, but anyway, folks, you may have noticed the
- 2:09last couple of days, really the last couple weeks, ever since
- 2:14the Tucker Carlson thing has, you know, blown up and it's kind
- 2:22of taken over the it's kind of taken up the oxygen, sucked the
- 2:31oxygen out of the room. As far as what's going on in the
- 2:35news cycle, everyone's talk at the Tucker Carlson, Nick Fuentes
- 2:41interview and I've talked about a little bit on the Whitfield
- 2:47report with Max, but we haven't done a we talked about the
- 2:56Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes interview too much on the show,
- 3:02mainly because it's it's such a clusterfuck in my humble
- 3:10opinion. And it leads into some very dark
- 3:19and just unsavory places just in general.
- 3:24And I don't think that Tucker Carlson or Nick Fuentes really
- 3:35at this point, especially Nick Fuentes.
- 3:39Nick Fuentes, to be clear, is not a conservative.
- 3:43He has never been a conservative.
- 3:50His twisted view of America first is not American
- 3:59exceptionalism. It's his twisted view of
- 4:03American supremacy and white supremacy and anti-Semitism, to
- 4:16be more exact and as no place in America, and American
- 4:29conservatism. My grandfather, one of them I
- 4:38should say, was at the Battle of the Bulge.
- 4:47He was in D-Day at Normandy, and he was one of the first of the
- 5:01US troops into the Dachau labor camp, which was one of the
- 5:12concentration camps as well. He was part of the first wave
- 5:19and as a result of his experiences in World War 2 that
- 5:32led him to self medicate with alcohol and he became a
- 5:41alcoholic, albeit very high functioning alcoholic.
- 5:47He still went on to have a very productive wife after the war.
- 5:54But by the time I was born and knew me was a very heavy drinker
- 6:02and I got to know my grandfather rather my step grandfather in
- 6:07this case Alfred Evans. That was his name very well.
- 6:15And growing up, I was fascinated with the history of World War 2.
- 6:31And I think I was in middle school at the time, but I would
- 6:38go over to spend Fridays in the weekends with my grandmother in
- 6:44middle school. And he was still alive at the
- 6:46time. And I remember one of those
- 6:51Fridays I brought my World War 2 history book with me and I had
- 7:03AI had the book open to a page on the 3rd Reich.
- 7:09And he comes into the room and I'll never forget because there
- 7:16were moments where he could be, for a lack of a better term,
- 7:22shit faced, but still kind of ambulatory.
- 7:28And then there were moments where he he would get like razor
- 7:32focused and razor sharp. And this was one of those
- 7:35moments where he went from being inebriated to being immediately
- 7:41sobered up upon seeing my history textbook.
- 7:51And it was as if the owl who I knew, and he was always, even
- 7:58when he was intoxicated, even when he could get get
- 8:03intoxicated, he was mostly very friendly and very cordial to me.
- 8:13But when it came to World War 2, he, he sobered up pretty
- 8:22quickly. And I remember the first
- 8:27conversation he, you know, he's we had about the war.
- 8:33He started off by saying he pointed to Hitler of a picture
- 8:38of Hitler and he said he yelled, Really Hitler, that nasty
- 8:47fucking bastard. I wish I had been able to put a
- 8:52bullet in him myself. And so he exclaims that.
- 9:03And then as the evening went on, I remember he started to open up
- 9:16more and more about his service to me in bits and pieces as the
- 9:26weeks went on from that point. He shared how he was enlisted,
- 9:32about how he enlisted voluntarily when he was 17.
- 9:38He talked about going to base training.
- 9:51He talked about becoming a tanker driver and later tank
- 9:55commander and what that was like.
- 9:59But I remember specifically, and what was very chilling was he
- 10:05shared with me about going into Dachau and being part of the
- 10:20first wave and what he said was being one of the first people in
- 10:34there. He couldn't believe the lack of
- 10:40humanity that he was seeing in front of his eyes.
- 10:52Women, children, men who were starving, the horrible state of
- 11:01the library camps, piles of bodies.
- 11:10And yet he was seeing it and it scarred him for life.
- 11:23And what was even more chilling was he warned or he said to me
- 11:36that people were already at this time, it was the mid 2000s.
- 11:40And he said to me, you know, kid, he always called me kid
- 11:46affectionately as well. And he said, you know, kid,
- 11:56people are going to deny the Holocaust and these bastards who
- 12:06worship Hitler and the Third Reich, they're going to pretend
- 12:15the awful shit like this can never happen in me being, you
- 12:29know, politically interested. At the time, I was 13 at the
- 12:34time, that was kind of when I was dipping things.
- 12:40I had, as I do now, a mostly optimistic view of the world and
- 12:47a mostly optimistic view of people.
- 12:52And I, I said, I said, oh, I said, oh, I said, there might be
- 12:56a few kooks out there, but no one's going to actively deny
- 13:06that the Holocaust is happening or happened.
- 13:18No one's going to say that Hitler was an awesome guy, and
- 13:25yet that's now happening too, on both the left and fringe
- 13:33elements of the right. And as I've said before on the
- 13:41show and as I've said before on the on XI believe that Nick
- 13:48Fuentes is a left wing plant to make decent conservatives look
- 13:55bad. I still vehemently believe that.
- 14:03And you know, if, if, if you think he's just doing ironic
- 14:13commentary or whatever, I think that's, you know, deeply, I
- 14:26think you're deeply misled, honestly.
- 14:32Because you can find countless clips of all the heinous things
- 14:42that Fuentes has said unironically about Hitler being
- 14:50awesome and the Jews needing to be rounded up and being in
- 14:59control of everything and responsible for all of the evils
- 15:05in the world, etcetera. Fuentes has said that repeatedly
- 15:09and quite gleefully. So there's that.
- 15:22But the reason why I've been, you know, basically on a Twitter
- 15:29tirade I had non-stop recently is partially because of my
- 15:37grandfather Al and because of the World War Two generation,
- 15:44some call them the greatest generation that fought against
- 15:50the Nazis and fought against the the acts of evil.
- 15:58Because that generation is sadly mostly gone now.
- 16:04We no longer have them here on Earth to warn us, but we do have
- 16:18archives of history, actual history that we can look back on
- 16:26for guidance. And by the way, I want to remind
- 16:31people that Nazi stands for National Socialism.
- 16:37So Hitler was a socialist. Nazism and Communism are on the
- 16:53same side of the coin when it comes to freedom versus tyranny.
- 17:02That is simply a fact, ladies and gentlemen.
- 17:11But anyway, enough of my monologue here.
- 17:18Let's dive into this piece from Douglas Murray.
- 17:31Let me pull this up here because I do think it's worth reading
- 17:36here. So let me go ahead and pull this
- 17:41up. Boy, Ladies and gentlemen, where
- 17:52did I, where did I put this? OK, let me move here.
- 18:10Hold on a SEC, folks. Just doing some.
- 18:27All right, just moving some things around on the way out,
- 18:31OK, We should be good to go. So this is a piece in the New
- 18:40York Post. This is Douglas Murray's opinion
- 18:50piece in the New York Post that was published on November 3rd.
- 18:59And I for one thought that this was excellent.
- 19:03This kind of breaks down how Tucker Carlson really has no
- 19:15longer has any place in the conservative movement.
- 19:17So a headline here. Conspiracy kook.
- 19:22Tucker Carlson is no conservative and no friend to
- 19:27Charles Clerk and JD bands. Reading from the top, Tucker
- 19:36Carlson is not a good friend. Just a few years ago, when the
- 19:42podcaster was pretending to be friends with President Trump,
- 19:47Carlson was caught privately saying of Trump.
- 19:51I hate him passionately. In September, another person
- 19:57whom Carl, whom Carlson claimed to be friends with, Charlie
- 20:02Couric, was shot dead. Carlson used the aftermath of
- 20:07his friend's assassination. Not to demand that the suspect
- 20:12in the shooting be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
- 20:17He didn't seize the moment to insist that perhaps radical left
- 20:23dialed down its hateful rhetoric against conservative
- 20:28conservatives and Republicans. Nor did he keep attention focus
- 20:33on the trans extremist links of the alleged shooter.
- 20:42No, Carlson chose to use the occasion to deflect attention
- 20:49from the perpetrator seized by the FBI and return hit to his
- 20:55obsession, the Jews. In the wake of the
- 21:01assassination. Carlson was one of a number of
- 21:06kooky online influencers who suggested that Kirk's views on
- 21:12Israel had been changing, in that, perhaps for this reason,
- 21:18the State of Israel had something to do with his murder.
- 21:26It was a crazy conspiracy theory, but Carlson was happy to
- 21:32push it. What a way to honor a friend.
- 21:38Then this past week, Carlson proved again what an appalling
- 21:42person he has become. He invited on to his show an
- 21:48avowed Holocaust denier and racist Nick Fuentes.
- 21:54We don't need to linger here over all the horrifying bile
- 21:59that Fuentes has spewed out to his online followers.
- 22:04It is enough to say that he is so toxic.
- 22:08He could almost have been invented by the radical left as
- 22:12a way to delegitimize the political right in the country.
- 22:19Let me read that for you again, because this is what I've been
- 22:22saying of Fuentes for years, ladies and gentlemen, me
- 22:26personally. It is enough to say that he is
- 22:30so toxic. He could have.
- 22:33He could almost have been invented by the radical left as
- 22:37a way to delegitimize the political right in this country.
- 22:49And Douglas is absolutely right here.
- 22:53Spot on. Any normal person would want to
- 23:01to keep 1,000,000 miles away from such a snarling, ugly
- 23:06actor. But if anyone was to sit down
- 23:13and give Fuentes one of the largest audience is of his
- 23:19career, you would have thought that there would be some hostile
- 23:25questions. The kind of real, honestly
- 23:28hostile questioning Carlson can do, such as his recently his
- 23:33recent astoundingly hostile interview with Ted Cruz.
- 23:45But no, Carlson used his hours with Fuentes to simply launder
- 23:51Fuentes's reputation and try to give him a veneer of
- 23:56reasonableness and respectability.
- 24:01Which brings me to to what an appalling friend Tucker Carlson
- 24:08is. Carlson might have used the
- 24:13opportunity to put fun to put to Fuentes some of the disgusting
- 24:19things Fuentes had said about the assassinated Couric.
- 24:27He might have raised the way in which Fuentes and his Griper
- 24:31followers promised to tap to hound into a metancourke while
- 24:37he was alive. Carlson might also have asked
- 24:43Fuentes why I'd seen fit to use the weeks after Kirk's
- 24:48assassination not only to push the claim that the Jews murdered
- 24:52Kirk, but to also attack Kirk's widow.
- 24:57Of of which, by the way, ladies and gentlemen, people have
- 25:01posted clips of Fuentes doing this repeatedly.
- 25:11Oh, let's see here. That's my place.
- 25:22Oh, in a recent online ramp, Fuentes said Erica Kirk is a
- 25:29spook. Erica Kirk is a plant.
- 25:35We all know that. That is a fact.
- 25:39That's basically established. She was shopping on for a
- 25:42political husband. God know where she comes from.
- 25:46She found one in Charlie Kirk. Charlie Kirk is not a good
- 25:50looking guy. Now that's a quote from from
- 25:53Fuentes. If you're listening to this on
- 25:57the auto podcast, I, I quoted Nick Fuentes there, which is
- 26:02it's funny that Fuentes would call someone a plant in a spook
- 26:14because Fuentes was the, you know, he was he was the one guy
- 26:18at January 6 who actually told people to go into the capital
- 26:24and I believe to go into Nancy Pelosi's office directly.
- 26:31And yet when everyone else was getting indicted for January
- 26:396th, was Fuentes anywhere near to be to be found?
- 26:48No, I don't think so. So, you know, as Flinders likes
- 26:56to say a lot, I'm just asking questions.
- 27:02And in this case, ladies and gentlemen, I'm I'm, you know,
- 27:04I'm just asking questions. I'm I'm just pausing that.
- 27:08It is interesting that the guy who is accusing Eric Kirk of
- 27:17being a plant and of being a spook is also kind of doing, you
- 27:29know, fed or spook like things himself, but I digress.
- 27:36Continuing on back to Douglas's article, yeah, let me go back.
- 27:46In a recent online rant, Fuentes said Erica Kirk is a spook.
- 27:50Erica is a plant. We all know that.
- 27:52That is a fact that is basically established.
- 27:56She was shopping on for port of husband, God know where.
- 27:59God knows where she comes from. Charlie's not a good looking
- 28:03guy. Fuentes went on to suggest that
- 28:07Kirk's morning widow is just acting.
- 28:11Yeah, he said that too. Yeah.
- 28:15So continue on it. It is a heck of a thing to claim
- 28:23to be friends with someone and then bring a guest on to your
- 28:27show who not only hounded your friend in life, but mocks and
- 28:33smears his widows after his death.
- 28:41But then, that's the sort of friend Tucker Carlson is.
- 28:49And it gets worse. Because Carlson also claims to
- 28:53be friends with Vice President JD Vance.
- 28:57He has appeared on stage with him and warmed up for him and
- 29:06Trump at rallies. Most of us think friendship
- 29:11includes defending your friends and defending their wives.
- 29:16Not Carlson. Here's just some of what Fuentes
- 29:21had to say about Vance and his beautiful Emma and impress of
- 29:26wife Usha. During one recent rant, Fuentes
- 29:32described JD Vance as, quote, a fat race mixer who's married to
- 29:39AG, who named his son Vivek. Yeah, End Quote.
- 29:49For anyone not up on the racist cesspool terms, AG turns out to
- 29:55be a racist term used to smear people of South Asian,
- 30:00especially Indian ancestry. Fuentes went on to claim that
- 30:09Vans was monitored by was mentored by a quote UN quote
- 30:15Jewish neo con and a gay fed and again called Vans a fat gay race
- 30:23trader who married a Jeep. Elsewhere he has attacked people
- 30:29for supporting Vans because of the ethnicity of Vans's wife and
- 30:37the fact that the couple have produced children whom Fuentes
- 30:42calls non white. Fuentes has attacked Vance
- 30:48because his kids are brown. Quote UN quote.
- 30:54These are vile things to say about anyone.
- 30:58Most of us wouldn't want to be any anywhere near someone who
- 31:03said such things are total strangers.
- 31:07But if you had someone in front of you who had said that about
- 31:11your own friend, his wife and children, wouldn't you bring
- 31:15that up? Putting aside for the moment why
- 31:20you would platform such a toxic toad in the 1st place, Why allow
- 31:25him to normalize himself in front of a worldwide audience
- 31:29without even bringing up all the disgusting things he has said
- 31:36about people you claim to know and love?
- 31:40And ladies and gentlemen, that is simply the the truth of
- 31:44things. Continuing on, at the end of
- 31:52last week, the president of the Heritage Foundation in
- 31:56Washington tied himself to a completely avoidable mess by
- 32:02issuing a video defending Carlson.
- 32:06Goodness knows why Kevin Roberts chose to do that.
- 32:11It wasn't as though the nation was desperate to hear from him.
- 32:16But I suppose Roberts did it like other people who had stood
- 32:21up for Carlson during his recent downward spiral.
- 32:28Because he values loyalty in friendship.
- 32:32If that's the case, then Roberts, like Trump, Vance, and
- 32:37others in the Republican movement, should reflect on what
- 32:42a friend they really have in Tucker Carlson, a man who seems
- 32:47on normalizing Holocaust deniers and on destroying the MAGA
- 32:53movement within Some patriot, some conservative, some friend.
- 33:02And I will link this article in the show notes here.
- 33:08Here, ladies and gentlemen, because this is, in my opinion,
- 33:15a pretty damn good article, if I do say so myself.
- 33:33It really is. Now let me
- 33:50let me switch back real quick. OK, so the reason why, ladies
- 34:05and gentlemen, because people ask Sam, why do you go after
- 34:15Nick Fuentes and Tucker Carlson so much?
- 34:23People, people have said, Sam, it seems like you go after
- 34:29Fuentes in the quote UN quote far right more than you do the
- 34:35radical left. And to be fair, ladies and
- 34:40gentlemen, I, it may appear to you guys that way because some
- 34:48of the clips of me criticizing, I guess the, the far right or
- 34:55the alt right, those get more visibility.
- 34:58But I, I, I do criticize the far left.
- 35:02But the thing I'm criticizing the far left is everyone does it
- 35:06now. The far left is easy to
- 35:11criticize. Even even though Mar, who's you
- 35:14know, who's on the left support, you know, he seems to be leaning
- 35:21right more and more or coming into our side, I should say.
- 35:26But the woke left has made it increasingly like they've made
- 35:35it easy for them to be lampooned.
- 35:41And most decent liberals, and there are, there are decent
- 35:46liberals out there, folks. They're sick of the woke stuff
- 35:49too on the left. So yeah, lampooning the the woke
- 35:57left and lampooning folks like Mom, Donnie.
- 36:04And we will discuss that on Wednesday, Ladies and gentlemen,
- 36:07Max and I will make no mistake, we will be talking about that on
- 36:15Wednesday probably. But the reason why I tend to
- 36:21come down harder on people on the right quote, UN quote, or
- 36:29people trying to infiltrate the right like Nick Fuentes is
- 36:34because I expect, I don't expect a lot of the left, ladies and
- 36:40gentlemen, at this point. I don't as a whole, because the
- 36:51left in America has been lost completely to radicalism.
- 36:58They've let the woke consume them and they've let this social
- 37:04justice victim mentality consume them.
- 37:10They're kind of lost the right. I have always held to a higher
- 37:15standard, ladies and gentlemen, the thing that Fuentes, you
- 37:23know, in the gripers or whatever you want to call them, or you
- 37:26know, the white nationalist group that the race journalist
- 37:29groups, etcetera, etcetera. The thing that those people is
- 37:37they want the same thing as the left does.
- 37:43They want to blame others for the misfortune in their lives.
- 37:51They don't want to take any responsibility for things going
- 37:57on in the in their own life. They want to say the most
- 38:04outlandish things without even getting pushed back.
- 38:13And then when anyone does push back on them, it's a giant
- 38:17conspiracy theory. They think they're all, they
- 38:26think they're owed reparations by the government, just like the
- 38:35left is, except, you know, they want for white people.
- 38:46And oddly enough, like both the far left and the far right, they
- 38:52both like, they're both racist and they both hate Jews.
- 39:00And they're not a big fan of Christians either, I've noticed.
- 39:05Like for all of for all of Nick Fuentes's posturing about, you
- 39:09know, being a good Catholic, I've never actually seen him
- 39:18quote the Bible or display any humility like a good Christian
- 39:29or Catholic. Or anything like that.
- 39:36And like I've said before, I don't believe that his eulogy,
- 39:41quote UN quote for Charlie Kirk was genuine.
- 39:46I think was just an act because everything he has said about
- 39:49Erica since then, since Charlie Kirk's death and a turning
- 39:56point, has been lambasting then and making up endless conspiracy
- 40:03theories about them. The eulogy quote UN quote was
- 40:14just his way of trying to get his foot in the door, which he
- 40:23has now done, but nobody who's seriously been paying attention.
- 40:32And nobody who actually knows what he's about takes any of it
- 40:38seriously at all. So, you know, he claims to be
- 40:51America first, but his version of America first is not actually
- 41:07America first. It's it's Fuentes first honestly
- 41:13is what he is about. And he confuses American
- 41:20exceptionalism with American supremacy.
- 41:30He doesn't believe in American exceptionalism.
- 41:32He believes in a very warped version of American supremacy.
- 41:39And there is a big difference, ladies and gentlemen.
- 41:45Gentlemen, what is that difference?
- 41:50Well, ladies and gentlemen, I I posted this clip on Twitter
- 41:56early in the week, but I want to play this again because I think
- 42:03bears worth viewing. But back in 2015, so 10 years
- 42:13ago, actually, radio's greatest of all time, Rush Limbaugh, and
- 42:25he was the greatest to ever do broadcasting.
- 42:34He is the standard of broadcast in my view.
- 42:41Rush laid out perfectly what American exceptionalism is.
- 42:50And more importantly, ladies and gentlemen, he laid out what
- 42:55American exceptionalism isn't, which is just as important.
- 43:05And I think it's increasingly important that we pay attention
- 43:17and heed his warnings. So let's let's take a listen to
- 43:24this, shall we? This is Rush Limbaugh on
- 43:35American Exceptionalism from 2015.
- 43:43Let's roll the clip. Not what American exceptionalism
- 43:51is not. It is not that we are better
- 43:56people. It is not that we are superior
- 44:00people. It is not that we are smarter
- 44:03people. It is not that God loves us and
- 44:07hates everybody else. It is not that God prefers us.
- 44:13It is not that God doesn't prefer anybody else.
- 44:19American exceptionalism has nothing to do with anything but
- 44:24freedom and liberty. Here is what American
- 44:28exceptionalism is, by the way. This is one of the fundamental
- 44:37reasons why I got so excited when presented with the idea of
- 44:41writing a book about the truth of American history in stages
- 44:45and various elements for young people.
- 44:51My book, Rush, Revere and the Brave Pilgrims, is all about the
- 44:55exceptionalism of those people. So what is it?
- 45:01Well, if you know the history of the world, read your Bible.
- 45:06Read whatever historical account of humanity you hold dear.
- 45:10And what you'll read about is human tyranny.
- 45:14You'll read of bondage. You'll read of slavery.
- 45:19The vast majority of the people, the vast majority of the human
- 45:25beings who have lived and breathed and walked this planet
- 45:30have lived under the tyranny of despots.
- 45:33The vast majority, it isn't even close.
- 45:40The vast majority of the people of this world, since the
- 45:44beginning of time have never known the kind of liberty and
- 45:50freedom that's taken for granted every day in this country.
- 45:55Most people have lived in abject fear of their leaders.
- 46:02Most people have lived in abject fear of whoever held power over
- 46:09them. Most people in the world have
- 46:13not had plentiful access access to food and clean water.
- 46:19It was a major daily undertaking for most people to come up with
- 46:24just those two basic things. Just surviving was the primary
- 46:31occupation of most people in the world.
- 46:37The history of the world is dictatorship, tyranny, whatever
- 46:43you want to call it, subjugation of populations.
- 46:50And then along came the United States of America.
- 46:54So Rush is absolutely right that tyranny is the history of the
- 47:02world. And that's exactly what Nick
- 47:11Fuentes and others on the far right want.
- 47:17They want soft, they want tyranny.
- 47:21It may be soft tyranny, but they still want tyranny.
- 47:26And same way on the left with Zoran, Mondami and company.
- 47:34There's no real difference, ladies and gentlemen, between
- 47:40the far left and the far right. So here's why American is
- 47:47exceptional Can continuing on Rush.
- 47:55Pilgrims are the first to come here seeking freedom from all of
- 48:00that. They were oppressed because of
- 48:02their religion. They were told they had to
- 48:06believe in the King and his God, whatever it was, or they would
- 48:13be imprisoned. They led an exodus from Europe
- 48:20to this country of people of the same mindset.
- 48:25They simply wanted to escape the tyranny of their ordinary lives.
- 48:32This country was founded for the first time in human history.
- 48:37A government and country was founded on the belief that
- 48:43leaders serve the population. This country the 1st in history.
- 48:50And this is the exception EXCEPT, except, the exception to
- 48:57the rule is what American exceptionalism is.
- 49:01And because of this liberty and freedom that our country exists
- 49:06because the founders recognized it comes from God.
- 49:09It's part of the natural yearning of the human spirit.
- 49:12It is not granted by a government.
- 49:14It's not granted by Putin. It's not granted by Obama or any
- 49:17other human being. We are created with the natural
- 49:21yearning to be free. And it is other men and leaders
- 49:25throughout human history who have suppressed that and
- 49:27imprisoned people for seeking it.
- 49:29The US is the first time in the history of the world where a
- 49:34government was organized with a constitution laying out the
- 49:37rules that the individual was supreme and dominant.
- 49:42And that is what led to the US becoming the greatest country
- 49:46ever, because it unleashed people to be the best they could
- 49:49be, unlike it had ever happened. That's American exceptionalism.
- 49:52Putin doesn't know what it is. Obama doesn't know what it is,
- 49:56and it just got trashed in the New York Times.
- 49:59It's just unacceptable to the courage to fight and but talent
- 50:03to succeed rush on the. So there you have it, ladies and
- 50:10gentlemen. That is what American
- 50:13exceptionalism is again, not American supremacy.
- 50:24Not we're better than the rest of the world, but why?
- 50:31We are the exception to the rule versus the rest of the world.
- 50:37We value individual liberty for all over group identity
- 50:45politics, which is what the far left and the far right are both
- 50:53into. And quite frankly, I have no use
- 50:58for either. And the vast majority of
- 51:03Americans don't either. So folks, I know this was an
- 51:10impromptu episode tonight, but this has kind of been on my mind
- 51:16for the past couple weeks and Max and I are going to do a deep
- 51:23dive more into Nick Fuentes and the gripers and who they and
- 51:30their scummy Ilkar. We'll get into that on a, you
- 51:36know, at another time, but I just kind of wanted to do a
- 51:40reaction to Douglas Murray's piece in the New York Post Rush
- 51:52on American exceptionalism and then and then kind of my
- 51:55grandfather's store with World War 2.
- 52:01So if you have tuned in live, I want to thank you for watching.
- 52:07And if you're listening to this on Spotify or Apple podcast or
- 52:16what have you, thank you for tuning in as well.
- 52:19I will have links to the article and we're not in the show notes
- 52:23in the description along with my books and everything else.
- 52:30So thank you for for tuning in. God bless God save this great
- 52:35nation and God freedom legacy in that order.
- 52:42And I'll be back tomorrow at 11 AM for my interview with Mr.
- 52:49Terrence Laihue of Suit Podcast. So tune in for that, ladies and
- 52:54gentlemen, See you then. Take care.
- 53:02The right to offend is not some pesky little part of freedom of
- 53:07speech that we have to put up with.
- 53:09It is the heart and soul and lungs of freedom of speech.
- 53:13It is the coursing lifeblood of human protest.
- 53:16It is the instigator of liberty and modernity and science and
- 53:20understanding. What a laughing stock today's
- 53:24student leaders are that they can so casually dismiss the
- 53:28right to be offensive without realising that their lovely,
- 53:32enlightened lives are the gifts of individuals who gave offence.
- 53:38Offensiveness is not just something we have to
- 53:40begrudgingly accept. Offensiveness is the motor of
- 53:44human progress. Thank you for watching the
