RE-DEFINING THE BLESSING... 2 · Apostle Joshua Selman

• 0:00
Speaker 1: I give Jesus a big, big, big big ham. Amen,
• 0:08
praise the name of the Lord. Well, it's good to
• 0:12
see everyone. And the Bible says, onto the Lord, shall
• 0:16
the gathering of his people be but so daily. Thank you, Wen,
• 0:20
you honor your dear wife and the entire leadership. May
• 0:25
God bless you. And she's his name. Allow me appreciate
• 0:29
Mayor Harold Moore. He flew in from the United States
• 0:33
for this. This man is an incredible man. When he
• 0:37
called that he was coming, I said, no, no, no, you
• 0:39
don't have to fly. And he's been around all the
• 0:42
sound of revival conferences in North America, and I said,
• 0:46
  just say, you're a politician, you're a mayor. Don't let
• 0:50
them drive you because you're traveling doing evangelism. And he
• 0:54
didn't even answer me again. Next thing I heard was
• 0:56
that he was already in the plane coming. God bless you. Truly.
• 1:03
It's a joy and an honor. By the way, I
• 1:05
appreciate and honor everyone, every man of God, every person
• 1:08
who is worthy of honor. We give Jesus the praise.
• 1:13
I'm here because I believe in what God is doing
• 1:16
in your life and in the territory. This is why
• 1:19
we've been sent. Every time He grants us the grace
• 1:22
to strengthen one another and to speak over the territory,
• 1:27
we embrace it as an opportunity. I'm here to help
• 1:30
someone see Clara better. I'm here to help someone access
• 1:35
the grace needed for the hour. God sends us as
• 1:39
instruments of mercy to help give clarity, perspective, to help build.
• 1:45
And it's one of the burden that God has given
• 1:48
me this season, a renewed boden to disciple nations. There
• 1:56
is need for the Body of Christ across every territory
• 2:01
to come into the fullness of the stature of the
• 2:05
measure of Christ. The Church is at the messy of
• 2:12
the men and the women who teach and serve the
• 2:16
wisdom and the grace of God. And if we are limited,
• 2:20
we will produce a sincere but ill prepared people. We
• 2:25
cannot give beyond a level of access, access to light,
• 2:29
access to wisdom, access to power. And so every time
• 2:34
God provides an opportunity like this to meet people beyond
• 2:40
the local assembly, for me, it gladdens my heart because
• 2:44
only God can tell who is standing before me. Only
• 2:49
God can tell. The Bible says now are we the
• 2:51
sons of God, And it doth not yet appear. You see,
• 2:56
you can predict fairly how many foods can come from
• 3:01
a tree, but you never can tell how many trees
• 3:04
can come from a seed that one seed planted nature. Allelujah.
• 3:13
And so my charge for us tonight as we begin
• 3:16
these sessions is Number one, let your hunger eyes. Let
• 3:21
your hunger eyes. The word of God produces when it
• 3:25
meets a hungry heart. Number two, let's adopt the principle
• 3:31
that was given to Moses. For many years. Moses had
• 3:34
been in Egypt. In fact, he was being prepared to
• 3:37
be the next pharaoh. But when he encountered the burning bush,
• 3:41
the first instruction he was given was take off your shoes.
• 3:46
Your shoe is a representation of your experience, your knowledge
• 3:50
about God so far. Sometimes when you encounter him, he says,
• 3:55
take it off, because I'm about to show you something
• 3:58
that may be foreign totence, but needed for your destiny.
• 4:03
I'm praying that somewhere in the course of this meeting,
• 4:07
someone will really find grace, someone will encounter wisdom, that
• 4:12
mighty men and women will arise. You have invested your time,
• 4:17
many of you, perhaps have traveled outside of Leicester, some
• 4:20
of you within the city regardless, And for those who
• 4:23
are fallen online, look beyond the man. Let your eyes
• 4:27
beyond Jesus. Let your eyes beyond his wisdom, his light,
• 4:31
and he will do us good. Can we lift up
• 4:33
our hands in one minute and ask again that the
• 4:36
spirit of grace will breathe upon us. Go ahead, thank you, Jesus.
• 4:46
Speak to our hearts, light our candles, give us understanding,
• 4:55
bring us to a state of maturity and stature. By
• 4:59
the speed, empower us. Strengthen the body of Christ within
• 5:07
this territory. Oh God, let your name be glorified. Let
• 5:13
  your name be lifted.
• 5:17
Speaker 2: We live you high, yeahway away, believed high, yeah, way away.
• 5:32
Speaker 1: Sing we live to high, Yeah with away.
• 5:40
Speaker 3: We'll live to high, believed high. We'll live to ah,
• 6:02
  will to ah.
• 6:18
Speaker 1: Thank you, Spirit of Grace. We receive understanding. Let the
• 6:22
book be opened, Let those cross be unlocked. Guide our
• 6:26
destinies to a place of perfection and power. In Jesus' name,
• 6:32
we pray God, bless you. Please you may be gloriously seated. Allelujah.
• 6:40
I understand we're dealing with the subject of the blessing
• 6:44
for this conference, and I always like to teach along
• 6:52
the team given to me. And but for the purpose
• 6:59
of stability, out requests that you allow me just digress
• 7:05
for a few minutes to lay a very strong foundation,
• 7:09
because you see, as we grow into maturity and stature,
• 7:14
one of the things we must learn is the value
• 7:18
and the supremacy of the will of God. The will
• 7:22
of God. Now everything in the Kingdom revolves and must
• 7:29
revolve around the will of God. What gives value to
• 7:33
every teaching, every desire, every pursuit, is that it must
• 7:40
be connected directly to the birthing of the will of God.
• 7:45
Is someone learning already so in the Kingdom when you
• 7:49
obtain onto maturity as a believer. And let this also
• 7:53
be a great encouragement to perhaps a man of God,
• 7:58
a woman of God, that in teaching concepts in the Kingdom,
• 8:04
you have to first let the people know that nothing
• 8:08
in the Kingdom in itself profits the believer except and
• 8:13
unless it is connected to the will of God. So
• 8:17
if you're teaching healing, if you're teaching prosperity, if you're
• 8:21
teaching fruitfulness, if you're teaching advancement, it becomes vanity if
• 8:26
left alone. The strength of that teaching is when you
• 8:31
can connect that pursuit that desire to the will of God.
• 8:35
Do you understand me so far? That means if you
• 8:38
just want to prosper for the sake of prosperity, if
• 8:41
you want to be healed for the sake of healing,
• 8:44
one self becomes the object of the pursuit. Then it
• 8:48
is vanity. It holds no weight in the spirit. What
• 8:52
gives our pursuit its value is that it is connected
• 8:56
to Kingdom come. It is connected to the program of God.
• 9:01
So when people understand the will of God and get
• 9:05
to a point where they are determined to see His
• 9:07
kingdom come and his will done, then you have no
• 9:10
restraint in teaching them the things that equip them to
• 9:14
do so. Healing prosperity, now you can teach it with confidence,
• 9:18
knowing that you are teaching a people who are already cultured.
• 9:22
They have an orientation that my life and everything about
• 9:26
it must be for His glory and for His kingdom.
• 9:29
Are were learning now it is a risk to begin
• 9:33
to explore certain dimensions of the provisions the riches that
• 9:39
are in Christ and to help people understand it without
• 9:44
first connecting them to Christ, to his program to his purposes.
• 9:50
What will happen is that that knowledge will become like
• 9:53
the tree of good and evil. Number one will bring enlightenment,
• 9:57
but with enlightenment to bring corelor. So you will find
• 10:02
the people who rejoice at increase, rejoice at prosperity. But
• 10:08
Jesus is not at the back of their joy. They're
• 10:11
only rejoicing because they have been better equipped to be selfish.
• 10:15
They have been equipped knowledge has fortified self in them,
• 10:20
so they rejoice because self is finding expression. Are we
• 10:24
learning already? I'm saying that as a background because in
• 10:27
teaching very delicate subjects like the blessing, it matters to me,
• 10:32
and it matters you know. The Bible calls us master builders,
• 10:37
and the Bible says that every man of God must
• 10:40
be a wise master builder. Are we together? And you
• 10:44
have to build according to pattern so that whilst people
• 10:48
enjoy and receive the revelations and the blessings that follow
• 10:53
those revelations, they are not They don't fail self. You
• 10:57
bring them to a point where they realize that all
• 11:00
of the provisions that are made available for me in Christ,
• 11:03
it's not just for self aggrandizement. Are we together that
• 11:07
at the end of it. It is to equip me
• 11:10
to be an effective witness and to birth the will
• 11:13
of God everything around the Kingdom. Now the word gospel,
• 11:19
I'm still digressive wherever we stop. Thank God, we have
• 11:22
two other sessions, but this foundation is important. The word
• 11:26
gospel does not just mean good news. It is a
• 11:30
declaration of blad tidings. But in that According to Scripture,
• 11:36
there are seven distinct gospels. The most popular that we
• 11:42
know is called the Gospel of Salvation. It's a declaration
• 11:47
of the love of the Father revealed in and through
• 11:50
the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus. But one of those gospels
• 11:54
for our discussion tonight, is the Gospel of the Kingdom.
• 11:59
And although it is by the same Lord and the
• 12:02
same spirit, the dynamics differ when you discuss the Gospel
• 12:07
of Salvation. In that narrative, Jesus is revealed as savior.
• 12:13
Man is revealed as a helpless personality and able to
• 12:17
save himself by any work of the Lord whatsoever. The
• 12:21
Father in the narrative of the Gospel of Salvation is
• 12:24
the initiator of the process that demonstrates his love away
• 12:28
together and so man really does not do anything, man
• 12:32
has the privilege of watching a spectacular display of love.
• 12:38
That God soul loved the world, and he proved that
• 12:41
love by giving his son, and Jesus came, died, paid
• 12:45
the price. Are we together? But when you now teach
• 12:48
the gospel of salvation in that narrative, Christ is no
• 12:53
longer savior, He is king. And the helpless personalities called men,
• 13:02
they are no longer helpless because at that point they
• 13:04
are saved, they are empowered. Are weay together? But then
• 13:07
there is an orientation that they sustain. They now know
• 13:11
that God has a program, God has an agenda, and
• 13:14
that their lives must be about birthing the will of God.
• 13:18
And it is from that standpoint that you begin to
• 13:21
explore everything in the kingdom, prosperity, health. So if I
• 13:25
ask you why do you want to be healed? I
• 13:28
am not convinced until your explanation ends up revealing the
• 13:32
will of God. Why do you want to prospect? If
• 13:36
you say, well, I'm tired of suffering, lester does not
• 13:38
seem to open up. That's a sincere explanation. But it
• 13:42
is not kingdom because Christ and his will is not
• 13:45
captured in your explanation. Is someone understanding. Now we become
• 13:50
a mature people, not just when we have so many
• 13:53
scriptures in our minds, but when we get to a
• 13:56
point where our wills can die, so that His will
• 14:02
is birthed, his will is revealed. And don't get me wrong,
• 14:06
if you truly understand the will of God, you will
• 14:08
know that the will of God is all about your profiting.
• 14:12
So that it does not look like he's such a
• 14:14
selfish person, he says, I know the thoughts that I
• 14:17
think towards you, Jeremi twenty ninety eleven. They are thoughts
• 14:20
of peace and not of evil, to bring you a
• 14:23
future and an expected end. So God is all about you.
• 14:28
Whilst we were yet seen us not even asking, not praying,
• 14:32
not demanding for salvation, he went out of his way.
• 14:35
And if he gave his son, we need not give
• 14:37
you all things to enjoy? Are we together? Prays the
• 14:40
name of the Lord. Someone say let your will be done?
• 14:44
One more time, say let your will be done? And
• 14:47
let me just connect that very quickly and then hopefully
• 14:50
begin our discussion. What exactly is the will of God
• 14:54
for man? We have to understand this. What is the
• 14:58
will of God? Now? Logically speaking, there are two dimensions
• 15:03
of God's will. Number one, that's what we call the
• 15:06
written will of God. That means or the generic will
• 15:10
of God, the will of God for all men. It
• 15:13
is not unique to any individual. Are we together? It
• 15:16
is every time you find a man, you can be
• 15:19
sure that that is God's will for that man. And
• 15:23
it is written in scripture that God desires that all
• 15:26
men be saved number one, and then number two, that
• 15:30
they come onto the knowledge of the truth. So for
• 15:34
every man you see, you can be sure that preaching
• 15:37
Christ to them is not going out of the will
• 15:40
of God, helping them to be part of a family
• 15:43
that builds them spiritually. You don't need a prophecy on that.
• 15:46
Are we together now, it is the will of God.
• 15:48
So there is the generic or written will of God.
• 15:52
As captured in scripture. God desires for all men to
• 15:56
come into the fullness of sonship. The Bible calls it
• 15:59
the of his calling. That when he got or saved,
• 16:03
there was an intent in his heart that we structurally
• 16:06
grow and attain maturity through sonship. Because an heir, for
• 16:10
as long as that air is a child. Galician Chapter four,
• 16:14
from verse one, he differed not from a slave, even
• 16:17
though he be Lord of all. Are we together so that,
• 16:21
even though we are saved, if we remain children, we
• 16:25
will never be able to release the riches that are
• 16:28
captured in the God life, because the life we have
• 16:31
received manifesting the riches, the glory that is embedded in
• 16:34
that life is knowledge dependent and maturity dependent. Knowledge dependent.
• 16:41
Some of you right here, as parents in your will,
• 16:45
right now you have perhaps you have children who are
• 16:48
not even up to teenage, but there is a will
• 16:51
for them, but you're not going to give them access
• 16:54
to it. Are we together? Maybe not even a will.
• 16:57
Maybe you've purchased something for them, some shares, investments, and
• 17:01
you are thoughtfully enough, Even as much as you love them,
• 17:04
you know that until they attend a state that you
• 17:07
consider maturity enough, you will not grant them access to it.
• 17:12
So in as much as we are saved, we have
• 17:14
received the riches that have come from this life, it
• 17:17
will not profit us, I tell you, and your difference,
• 17:20
the difference between you and one who is unsaved, will
• 17:23
barely be. It only from a spiritual standpoint that we
• 17:27
can really tell the difference. But as far as manifesting
• 17:30
victory and dominion, is concerned, the difference will not be
• 17:32
there because eternal life releasing the riches that eternal life
• 17:37
captures is knowledge dependent and maturity dependent. If someone following
• 17:45
this over prays the name of the Lord, Yeah, that
• 17:48
means the more we press to gain knowledge, understanding, and
• 17:53
attain on to maturity, the more we are able to
• 17:56
release that which is invested in our spirit for the
• 17:59
nation's you see, and at the end of it Christ
• 18:02
to be glorified John fifteen and verse eight. Hearing, is
• 18:06
my Father glorified that ye bear much foot? I hope
• 18:10
you know. Fruitfulness is proof that the tree has become matured.
• 18:15
A tree only becomes fruitful when is grown beyond a
• 18:18
certain limit. You'll be unfair for you to plant, and
• 18:21
by next week you expect you expect food. No, you
• 18:24
are patient. You know the tree is growing. But then
• 18:28
it gets to a point where you begin to see
• 18:29
the indecease that attests to the fact that growth has happened.
• 18:34
John fifteen sixteen. You have not called me, but I
• 18:38
have called you and ordained you that you should go
• 18:41
and bear foot, and that your food should remain. If
• 18:45
someone is learning so us Amen prais the name of
• 18:48
the Lord. So I'm talking about the will of God.
• 18:52
That Number one, there is the generic or written will
• 18:55
of God. We still have that all of us. Number two,
• 18:58
there is what is called the reveal will of God.
• 19:02
Now this is the revealed of God, the will of
• 19:05
God that is revealed to you on demand. Because your
• 19:10
destiny will require progressive revelations of God's will. There is
• 19:15
a generic will that guides you, but progressively your call
• 19:20
direction that which God wants you to do part time
• 19:24
and per seizing, and you will need the revealed will
• 19:26
of God. And that's where the Holy Spirit comes. Are
• 19:29
we together that the Holy Spirit is a revealer of
• 19:31
the will of God. No man knows what is in
• 19:34
the heart of man saved the spirit that is in
• 19:36
that man. So also no man knows what is in
• 19:39
the heart of the Father, save the spirit of the Father.
• 19:42
And that the Holy Spirit has the exclusive right to
• 19:45
such the mind of the Father, and to reveal to
• 19:48
the saints that which has been stored ordained for their glory. Allelujah,
• 19:54
the revealed Will of God. And perhaps some of you
• 19:58
have heard me teach that in lets the will of God,
• 20:01
there are three biblical ways. I don't know why God
• 20:03
is just routing me through this path. But there are
• 20:07
three ways to accessing the will of God. Number one Scripture.
• 20:12
Number two the revelatory ministry of the Holy Spirit. Number
• 20:15
three the prophetic. This is how we're able to extract
• 20:19
the will of God for our profiting again. Number one Scripture.
• 20:23
The first way we know the will of God is
• 20:26
by learning scripture. The Bible says in Look chapter four
• 20:29
that Jesus stood off for to read that it was
• 20:32
given to him the scroll of Isiahs, and he found
• 20:35
their way it was written concerning him Hebrews ten seven. Law,
• 20:40
I come in the volume of the book as it
• 20:43
is written of me, to do your will. Allelujah, prays
• 20:48
the name of the Lord. Number two the revelatory ministry
• 20:51
of the Holy Spirit, that the Holy Spirit guides. The
• 20:55
Holy Spirit reveals as they set themselves to pray, the
• 20:59
who go spoke to them, separate me, Paul and Barnabas.
• 21:05
And then number three the prophetic. I have spoken to
• 21:08
you in similitudes, and I've spoken to you in dreams,
• 21:11
all by the prophetic. The prophetic, if under the influence
• 21:16
of the world of God, can produce power in that
• 21:20
it is able to bring direction and to bring guidance.
• 21:24
It's someone learning praise the name of the Lord. So
• 21:26
I'm hoping that as we explore this topic, it would
• 21:31
not just be a canal celebration of the awareness of victory.
• 21:36
But now with this background everything I'm about to say,
• 21:39
because we're going to go deep into this concept of
• 21:41
being blessed to really understand what it is. And if
• 21:45
you do understand, it will truly change your life. And
• 21:48
you will now appreciate this digression that has come as
• 21:51
a disclaimer, so that in rejoicing it tams your appetite,
• 21:57
and make sure that your joy is only reified by
• 22:01
its connection to the will of God. So that as
• 22:03
you leave this place tonight, you will leave rejoicing knowing
• 22:06
indeed that I am blessed. But you will not speak
• 22:09
as a canal man. You will speak as one who
• 22:11
is enlightened. That Heaven will rejoice over your awareness of
• 22:15
this revelation because you would now become an advantage to
• 22:19
the kingdom. Are we learning? So can we begin? Let's
• 22:24
praying the spirit for one minute. Thank you Father for wisdom,
• 22:28
thank you for grace. It is about your glory to
• 22:39
see you high and leave tear it up. You are
• 22:44
shining in the light of your glovery. Pour out your
• 22:50
power and love as we sing, Holy Holy, Oh, we'll
• 22:57
see you high. You're shining in the line of your glove.
• 23:08
Home much your power and love as we see. Thank you,
• 23:17
Holy Spirit in Jesus' much less name. We pray so
• 23:24
I'll be teaching on the blessing. The blessing tonight. We
• 23:29
be part one, and we'll take it from there. Wherever
• 23:32
we stop, will pray, go home, come back, try again,
• 23:38
go home, come back, and then see how far we're
• 23:42
able to cover. Amen and Amen, anyone ready, I rejoice
• 23:51
in advance. I rejoice in advance. Someone's life will change. Allelujah. Okay.
• 24:02
Efficients chapter one, we're reading the first three verses efficients
• 24:10
chapter one. Paul. Now, notice we's talking. He starts by
• 24:18
telling you he's an apostle of Christ. By there, does
• 24:23
it make sense to you everything we've discussed now, so
• 24:26
you can trust everything he's saying, because he's telling you
• 24:30
that his life and his apostleship, it's not just about
• 24:33
the issues is discussing, but at ultimately it is the
• 24:37
will of God. The will of God is what drives him.
• 24:40
So Paul. Verse one again, Media, Paul, and I'm not
• 24:47
saying verse one. I'm saying verse two. Can we try again?
• 24:50
Just do what you did the first time I saw
• 24:52
that one. Hallelujah. Okay, no, just just go to verse one.
• 24:58
Let's finish verse one. Make it slowly. Thank you, Paul.
• 25:02
An apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God.
• 25:06
So this is the person speaking. Now, who is he
• 25:09
speaking to? To the saints who are in Leicester. Now
• 25:18
it's important for you to know, so you know whether
• 25:20
the discussion is your business or not. There are certain
• 25:24
discussions that are not your business. So you have to
• 25:27
know who is speaking and who is speaking to. This
• 25:31
gives you contextual understanding in discussing scripture. Are we together
• 25:35
so to the saints? So if you are the saints,
• 25:39
those saved, those who love Jesus, who are faithful in
• 25:42
Christ Jesus, then every other thing I'll be discussing is
• 25:47
for you. Are we learning so to the saints who
• 25:50
are in Ephesus. Now we're in Leicester, so we'll not
• 25:53
say Ephesus, the saints in Leicester and the faithful in
• 25:57
Christ Jesus. Verse two, Grace, I like this grace to
• 26:02
you and peace from God, our Father and our Lord
• 26:06
Jesus Christ. Shout us through with me. Please, if you
• 26:09
love Jesus, when you see projected media, we're ready for us.
• 26:12
Three Ephesians one and verse three. Okay, let's go one
• 26:19
to go stop stop stop, stop stop stop. Do don't
• 26:27
rush you, don't rush it at all. Blessed be the
• 26:30
God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is now.
• 26:36
There are many things God has done for us. He
• 26:38
saved us. Are weay together? But now poly saying he
• 26:43
had blessed us, not will bless us? He had blessed us,
• 26:49
And then he tells us the extent of the blessing
• 26:52
that He's blessed us with every spiritual blessing, every spiritual blessing.
• 27:02
But now there's an issue we need to discourse because
• 27:05
it tells us the location that these spiritual blessings are
• 27:09
in heavenly places. And the code for access is the Christ.
• 27:18
So that if your life fails to capture and reveal
• 27:20
these blessings, it does not change the fact that God
• 27:24
has blessed you with every spiritual blessing. Are we together
• 27:29
in heavenly places? In Christ? So let's leave that scripture
• 27:34
there to revisiting. Let's go to Genesis chapter twelve. The
• 27:38
Bible talks about a very interesting man who is very
• 27:44
interesting because the major world religions today, as we know,
• 27:49
all came out from that one man. Christianity are we together,
• 27:57
Judaism and all its expressions, and then Islam all came
• 28:04
out from that one man, Abraham. So the Bible tells
• 28:09
us that this was a man who was in a
• 28:14
nation called war of the Childians. And I don't want
• 28:18
to go into the background, but if we had the time,
• 28:22
I would have told you and shown you from scripture
• 28:25
that the first person to be called was not really Abraham.
• 28:28
The first person God called was his father Terror. But
• 28:33
for whatever reason, he did not respond. And that tells
• 28:36
you how God is. He comes to you and proposes
• 28:39
his superior life, but he gives you the opportunity to
• 28:43
partner with him or reject him. The Bible says, as
• 28:46
many as received him, that mays not all who receive him. Unfortunately,
• 28:51
now the Lord said to Abrahm, get out of your country,
• 28:55
from your family and from your father's house, to a
• 28:58
land that I will you. Verse two, reading to three,
• 29:02
it says I will make you a great nation, and
• 29:07
I will bless you and make your name great. Do
• 29:13
you know we can spend all night just discussing what
• 29:15
this means. I'm telling you we can take the whole
• 29:19
day just discussing verse two. It's a very profound scripture.
• 29:23
I will make your name great. You can be great
• 29:26
without your name being great. Yeah, if you are great
• 29:31
without your name being great, your greatness ends when you leave.
• 29:36
How many of you have heard the word JP, Morgan Chase?
• 29:44
How many of you have heard whatever names that represent dynasties.
• 29:49
That's a great name. An individual can be great, but
• 29:53
if your name is not great, they cannot perpetuate greatness.
• 29:57
Nobody can come under the covering of your name. You
• 30:01
see in giving inhrotance. Don't tempt me to digress. Help me.
• 30:06
I'm a pilot tonight. Just help me. Let's fly straight,
• 30:10
no detaors, Let's get to where we're going. But I
• 30:12
need to say this. One of the things the Bible
• 30:15
calls in heretance is a good name. Are way together?
• 30:20
Yes that in all your giving, whatever you give your
• 30:24
children or those if you just give them physical things,
• 30:27
you really did not help them. A good name to
• 30:31
be better desired than material wealth. Anyway, So back to
• 30:36
our discussion. I will make your name great, and you
• 30:39
shall be Take note, you shall be a blessing. I
• 30:42
will bless you, and you shall be a blessing. Verse three.
• 30:47
I will bless those who bless you, and I will
• 30:52
curse him who curses you. And in you shall the
• 30:56
families of the earth be blessed. If that is you,
• 31:00
say amen. Now, generally across the body of Christ we
• 31:05
use the word blessed or blessing, bless you. We use
• 31:09
it to greet. You know, most of that was an
• 31:13
extrap from the way the Jews salute one another. The
• 31:18
greet salom, peace, blessings to you, and all of that.
• 31:21
And it was Bible culture to speak blessings. You see,
• 31:24
Paul would begin or end his conversations, you know, with
• 31:28
blessings and so on and so forth. And the psam
• 31:30
is used that a lot. For instance, someone please give
• 31:33
it to us, he says. Blessed is the man. Blessed
• 31:37
is the man someone when you read from verse one
• 31:40
to three, blessed is the man who works not in
• 31:43
the council of the ungodly, who stands nor stands in
• 31:46
the way of seeers, nor sits in the seat of
• 31:48
the scornful. I don't want to go ahead of myself.
• 31:51
Just leave us one day. By the time we get
• 31:54
to verse three, he begins to describe expressions that attest
• 31:58
to whether or not that man is blessed. So you
• 32:00
can use verse three to verify vers one. If a
• 32:04
man tells you I'm blessed, and eventually you do not
• 32:07
find the expressions in the three, something is wrong with
• 32:10
his understanding or wrong with that reality. Are we together?
• 32:15
So we use the word blessing, or we use the
• 32:18
word blessed, And it's important for us to really understand
• 32:22
what does it mean to be blessed? When I say
• 32:26
bless you, or God bless you, or you are blessed,
• 32:30
or I call you a blessing. We use it in English,
• 32:33
we use it culturally, but for the most people with
• 32:36
not taken our time. And I'm telling you, even if
• 32:39
you such a dictionary, it only goes so far. But
• 32:43
it's a very pregnant word that I'm hoping we'll exploring
• 32:47
the course of this conference. Are you ready for it?
• 32:49
So the word blessed, generally speaking, refers to favor, refers
• 32:58
to fruitfulness refers to advancement, refers to preservation and protection.
• 33:11
I'm just broadening the scope for you. So generally when
• 33:15
you hear the word blessed, these are the similes that
• 33:19
come to your mind. Fruitfulness, favor, preservation, advancement, everything around
• 33:28
that is captured in that word blessed. But let's do
• 33:31
a little Hebrew and Greek just to put perspective. So
• 33:36
the Hebrew word, there are many Hebrew words. As you know,
• 33:39
Hebrew is a very deep word. And the Bible was
• 33:42
largely the Old Testament was largely written in Hebrew, and
• 33:47
then the New Testament had a combination of Greek, Aramic,
• 33:53
and you know, here and there you'd find other expressions,
• 33:56
Latin and all of that. But largely is believed and
• 33:59
agreed that the Old Testament was largely composed of Hebrew,
• 34:03
whilst the New Testament had a lot of Greek expressions.
• 34:07
And so the word blessing, really there are many words,
• 34:11
but I want to select just one. It's the word
• 34:13
barraq be a r a k. The word blessing is
• 34:18
the word barrack. There are other expressions like esha. There
• 34:24
are other expressions like baraka that talks about being a blessing,
• 34:30
you say blessed, but generally the word barraq, the root
• 34:34
word barraq has to do with stooping down, kneeling down,
• 34:38
and communicating honor are well together. So when we talk
• 34:43
about the word blessing as the world of blessed, barack
• 34:46
the Hebrew word, it gives an expression of going down
• 34:50
on your knees, borrowing down, and communicating honor. Now you
• 34:57
can extend that word to me. Kneeling down, stooping down
• 35:00
in respect and then giving someone a gift, presenting something
• 35:05
of value. Is someone learning now, yes, So when you
• 35:12
kneel down and worship, when we say bless the Lord,
• 35:17
how do you bless the Lord by giving him money? No,
• 35:21
how do you bless the Lord by you see that
• 35:24
the honor the worship is blessing the Lord. So when
• 35:27
you go down on your knees in worship, as you
• 35:30
love him, as you just pour out your heart to him,
• 35:33
you are blessing the Lord. Is the word baraks someone
• 35:38
learning now? Yes, So that's very important. And then it
• 35:41
extends to other words like baraka, we're blessing now. So
• 35:46
generally it has to do with praising and it has
• 35:49
to do with stooping down to show respect and in
• 35:52
that communicating benevolence in terms of gift or whatever it is.
• 35:56
But let's look at the Greek word. I don't want to,
• 36:00
you know, stretch us beyond necessary the Greek word for blessing,
• 36:06
and there are two of them. One is called elogia. Now,
• 36:10
and that's even the root word where you get well,
• 36:14
let's leave that, but blessing eulogia. If you care for
• 36:18
  the spelling eu l o g i a eu l
• 36:23
  o g i a, And it's from two words. I'm
• 36:27
not going to go into the details. It simply means
• 36:29
a good word, a good word. The Greek does a
• 36:34
better presentation of what we are looking for. So the
• 36:37
word eu logia means a good word. That means a
• 36:40
pronouncement that works for your favor, a pronouncement that leads
• 36:46
to your advancement, a pronouncement that brings protection, a pronouncement
• 36:52
that brings preservation. Who is learning now, So the word
• 36:55
e logia has to do with declarations, whilst barack has
• 37:00
to do with worshiping, obeisance and all of that. Your
• 37:03
logier has to do with pronouncements that produce effects, visible
• 37:09
evident effects. Effects of advancement, effects of blessings are weay together?
• 37:14
Now you understand what the Lord did to man. The
• 37:16
Bible says, and God blessed him, and God blessed him
• 37:22
and said to him be fruitful. It was a divine
• 37:27
pronouncement that must produce an effect. Who is learning? So far?
• 37:32
Another word? It's still a Greek word, and I think
• 37:36
that's one that now that one really means blessed itself,
• 37:41
That means an expression of it. So one Greek word.
• 37:45
Your logier has to do it the speakings that produces
• 37:48
the evidence, whereas another has to do it becoming an
• 37:52
embodiment is the word maccarios. The word marcaryos there does
• 37:59
not just talk about the pronouncement. It means living in
• 38:03
the evidence. Macaryos means been fortunate. Marcaryos means you have
• 38:09
been preferred. That means you have become an embodiment of
• 38:13
the favor. It's not just the pronouncement that was made
• 38:16
on you, but you have come as the evidence. Who
• 38:18
is learning now? My carriers means fortunate, it means privileged,
• 38:29
it means happy, it means spiritually prosperous. Away following so far,
• 38:39
I just needed us to have these foundations. For the
• 38:41
purpose of our discussion, We're going to dwell on the
• 38:46
Greek expression because that's what captures all that we're doing,
• 38:51
that pronouncement, and then you're becoming an evidence, giving you
• 38:56
all of the evidence and all throughout discussion. There are
• 38:59
three I'm going to break my discussion into three. Number One,
• 39:04
we're going to be understanding what the Bible calls the
• 39:07
blessing of Abraham. Number two, we will understand what the
• 39:13
Bible calls the blessing. They are not the same. Then
• 39:17
number three, who will understand what the Bible calls blessings?
• 39:21
Three things one the blessing of Abraham. Number two the blessing.
• 39:29
Number three blessings. You see, we use these words in
• 39:33
church and in a very well meaning way, but they
• 39:36
are not the same. Is the reason why it does
• 39:38
not produce power in our lives. Who is hearing so far? Now?
• 39:41
I need to tell you this. Both God and men
• 39:45
can bless men. God can bless men Genesis one twenty eight,
• 39:52
God blessed man. Both God and men can bless Blessing
• 39:58
is not exclusively three reserve to God Genesis one twenty eight,
• 40:02
and God bless them talk to me who bless them.
• 40:05
God bless them and said unto them. In Genesis one
• 40:11
twenty two, one twenty two, he blessed creation. He blessed
• 40:15
the fishes, and God bless them. I hope you know
• 40:19
that the same blessing. This is interesting, isn't it. Most
• 40:24
people do not know why the sea, the waters, the
• 40:26
air is rich and fruitful. It's because God bless them.
• 40:30
Look at it. We focus on Genesis one twenty eight,
• 40:35
and that's wonderful, but we forget that something happened in
• 40:38
Genesis one twenty two. If it ever works, it's because
• 40:41
there is a blessing on it. And God blessed them, saying,
• 40:46
be fruitful and multiply and feel the waters. He gave
• 40:51
them fruitfulness, He gave them multiplication, but he did not
• 40:54
give them dominion. You see, so he said, feel the
• 40:58
waters and let the words multiply on the earth. Can
• 41:01
you imagine? So? God blesses creation. God blesses men. How
• 41:06
about men? In Genesis one twelve, one and three, we
• 41:09
already read that he spoke and proposed a blessing to Abraham.
• 41:13
Now let's look at men. Blessing men Genesis twenty four
• 41:17
give us verse sixty Genesis, chapter twenty four. So Rebeccah
• 41:22
is about to leave her family. Are Bible students, Rebecca
• 41:27
is leaving her family to go to Isaac. Finally they
• 41:30
found a wife for Isaac called Rebeccah, and they blessed
• 41:34
Rebeccah and said, unto her, our sister, may you become
• 41:39
the mother of thousands and ten thousands? Can I professor
• 41:42
over a daughter of Abraham? Yeah, in the name of
• 41:45
Jesus Christ, may you become a mother of thousands. Now listen, listen.
• 41:51
Already you are wise enough to know that he's not
• 41:55
just saying your womb should give bed to one thousand,
• 42:01
even if you get pregnant every week. That already should
• 42:07
inform you. You need to understand the thinking of the
• 42:11
people who wrote by what they are saying. Now we're
• 42:13
together the murther of thousands of ten thousands. And may
• 42:19
your descendants possess the gates of those who hate them. Ah,
• 42:23
there's a good prayer. In the name of Jesus Christ.
• 42:26
May your descendants possess the gates of those who hates them.
• 42:34
Please be seated, so God can bless and men can bless.
• 42:42
Is it in your Bible? That Isaac was about to die.
• 42:47
Then he calls his son isa He says, come make
• 42:50
me venice in such as I love, I want to
• 42:55
eat that venice in so that my soul will be
• 42:59
delighted and will bless you and die. And Hesa leaves
• 43:04
to the wilderness to go and catch. Now isn't it
• 43:08
interesting that what is sau when to look for? Isaac
• 43:12
already had in his house, So why did he ask
• 43:15
him to go to the field? Allelujah? He wanted to
• 43:21
bring him to bring the fruit of his value, so
• 43:24
he would speak to him. And whilst that happened, unfortunately,
• 43:29
isn't it amazing that this same Rebecca again, she calls
• 43:37
Jacob and says, I've heard something. A blessing is about
• 43:41
to leave your father. But we have an advantage because
• 43:45
he is blind. His blindness can be an advantage. You
• 43:50
see that. May you not be blind because blindness can
• 43:57
cost you, it can allelujah. And so he said, okay,
• 44:02
I will prepare this for you, and Jacob became afraid.
• 44:04
Jacob said, no, my father may be blind, but he
• 44:08
will feel me. My brother is Harry and I'm not
• 44:10
Harry said, don't worry, We'll get something and just create
• 44:14
and simulated said please, so I don't end up secure
• 44:17
in a course, he said, don't worry. I know it's
• 44:19
my husband. I know what to do. And then the
• 44:22
Bible says that he went, you find that in Genesis
• 44:25
twenty seven. And he goes to get everything and meets
• 44:29
his father and said, Father, am soul, I brought it
• 44:34
somewhere in the course of this conference. I will prophess
• 44:36
i verse twenty for you, even though he was lying,
• 44:39
but there's a powerful principle there, allelujah. And he met him.
• 44:43
He said, how is it that you have gotten it
• 44:46
so quickly? He said, because the Lord God has brought
• 44:50
it to me, even though he was lying. Let me
• 44:53
use it as a prophetic world the things that others
• 44:57
are looking for in the name of Jesus w pretty quickly,
• 45:01
because my God will bring you to you. How is
• 45:04
it that you brought the job so quickly? How is
• 45:07
it that the lines O got everything so quickly? I release,
• 45:11
Claire is upon you as I speak right now, Claire
• 45:15
is upon you. Help us on that your notes and
• 45:17
in the name of choose us please be see there.
• 45:24
  Stu early. Let's let's let's not let's let's let's leave.
• 45:28
That is to Elle. It's to Elle, he said, because
• 45:36
the Lord God has brought it to me. And so
• 45:39
he convinced his father. But he said something, Ah, I
• 45:43
have many things to say, Holy Spirit, help me. Verse
• 45:46
twenty one. Jacob or Isaac, he said, come so that
• 45:52
I may feel you, my son, whether you are really
• 45:55
Issy or not. Verse twenty two. Leaders. This is one
• 45:59
way to discern deception. The voice is the voice of Jacob,
• 46:05
but the hand at the hands of his soul. Can
• 46:10
you imagine? He went near to Isaac and said, my father.
• 46:13
He felt him and said, no, something in my spirit.
• 46:17
It is true that it is the voice betrays you.
• 46:21
It is the voice of Jacob. But the hand is
• 46:25
true that the other hands of it. So anyway, he
• 46:27
now speaks a blessing over him, and Jacob receives it.
• 46:31
And as soon as Jacob leaves, the Bible says is
• 46:35
or returns and isso says my father brought the meal,
• 46:41
and he said, what is this? I mean, what has
• 46:43
happened to you? What has happened? I just I was deceived.
• 46:48
I have spoken the blessing already. The Bible says, a
• 46:52
hard working adult with skill ability to fend for himself
• 46:57
began to cry, and I trembled exceedingly Verse thirty three,
• 47:04
and said, oh, where is the one who hunted and
• 47:07
brought it to me? I ate of it, and I
• 47:09
am blessed him, and indeed he shall be blessed. That's
• 47:12
thirty four. When isso had the words, he cried, question,
• 47:18
what really is the blessing? Because insou was not a
• 47:22
lazy man. We're not talking of someone who is not productive.
• 47:25
We're talking of an adult. What makes an adult to
• 47:29
cry with very sin in your hand? It means if
• 47:32
you don't understand that blessing, there is no guarantee to
• 47:36
live in a victorious life. Whatever will make an adult
• 47:39
cry and say, father, he said, bless me also find
• 47:43
the way of doing it. If it was all about pronouncement,
• 47:48
couldn't he just repeat it again? Thirty five? He said,
• 47:57
your brother came with deceit and has taken away what
• 48:02
did he take away? Thirty six? And Issa said, is
• 48:11
he not rightly named Jacob? For he has supplanted me
• 48:15
these two times? He took away my bet right, and
• 48:18
he took away my blessing. And he said, have you
• 48:22
not reserved a blessing for me. Watch this thirty seven.
• 48:26
Then Isaac answered and said, indeed, I have made him
• 48:30
your master. When did that happen? I have made him
• 48:39
your master, and all his brethren I have given to
• 48:45
him as servants with grain and wine. I have sustained him.
• 48:50
What shall I do for you now, my son? That's
• 48:53
thirty eight? And Issa said to his father, have you
• 48:57
only one blessing? My father blessed me also, my father,
• 49:00
and Hesa lifted up his voice and cried, I just
• 49:03
want to show you one scripture, and then we'll get
• 49:05
back to a discussion. And Isaac's father said unto him, behold,
• 49:10
your dwellings shall be of the fatness of the earth
• 49:13
and of the dew of the heaven from above Verse forty.
• 49:17
By your sword, you shall leave, and you shall serve
• 49:21
your brother. And it shall come to pass. Now we
• 49:27
leave this dall we get to Jesus Christ. It shall
• 49:30
come to pass that under a certain condition, when you
• 49:35
become restless, you shall break that yuke give us NLT
• 49:45
or n IV. It doesn't just call it yuke. It
• 49:51
shall come to pass when you become restless, that there
• 49:54
is a burden if you can't get it. That's that's fine, allelujah.
• 49:59
It talked about breaking the dominion. The dominion. That's the
• 50:04
word I'm looking for of your brother over you anyway,
• 50:11
I just wanted you to see the implication of being blessed.
• 50:14
Adults cried in Bible days because they did not get blessings. Today,
• 50:19
most believers just trivialize it, and we generally say I
• 50:23
am blessed, but we don't expect anything to happen in
• 50:25
our lives as an advantage. Praise the name of the Lord.
• 50:31
What I pray that things would change from this conference?
• 50:34
You believe that? Say amen. So. In the Old Testament,
• 50:40
the blessing was an empowerment to prosper. In the Old Testament,
• 50:45
the blessing was largely concerned with being empowered to prosper,
• 50:52
empowered to advance, empowered to be fruitful, and to be preserved.
• 50:58
Are we together? So throughout the Old Testament, everywhere you
• 51:01
see the blessing, it largely had to do with a
• 51:05
priestly and prophetic pronouncement that produced an effect of favor,
• 51:12
an effect of fruitfulness. Are we together? It was an
• 51:15
empowerment that made an individual, any individual whatsoever, to be
• 51:20
preserved it is safe for you to look at the Bible,
• 51:23
and every expression in the Old Testament of preservation, advancement, etc.
• 51:29
It was credited to the blessing. Are we learning now now?
• 51:33
But something the dynamics of the blessing began to change
• 51:36
as we approached the New Testament. In fact, the foundation
• 51:40
of it began with Father Abraham. Now we're delving into
• 51:45
the blessing of Abraham. If you're writing, please write that
• 51:48
down the blessing of Abraham. I wanted to discusse the
• 51:51
blessing of Abraham. Haven't laid the foundation, just a general
• 51:55
understanding now most times to the average believer. And please,
• 52:00
by no means don't find any offense at all when
• 52:02
we say the blessing of Abraham. Here's what most believers
• 52:05
think cars houses, a job promotion, and they are not
• 52:11
necessarily wrong, except that that's not really what the Bible
• 52:15
calls the blessing. In fact, when the Bible mentions the
• 52:19
word blessing, it has nothing to do with material things.
• 52:23
Material things only come as an attestation that you have
• 52:28
been blessed. Are we together prays the name of the Lord.
• 52:31
So when we talk about blessings in the Kingdom or
• 52:34
the blessing. Now, I like you to take your mind
• 52:36
away from a good house, a good car. Those things
• 52:39
are by their eventual product. You can have all those
• 52:44
things without being blessed. Diligence can bring them. The blessing
• 52:49
is higher, greater, by far more superior than any physical
• 52:54
or material thing, even though it does control them. Are
• 52:57
we together now, let's examine the blessin of Abraham ISAC
• 53:01
chapter fifty one, from verse one and two, the Blessing
• 53:05
of Abraham. If you're learning so far, say amen, please
• 53:10
be patient with me as I build this. We've established
• 53:12
a number of things that one the blessings have to
• 53:15
do with pronouncements that produce effects, effects such as peace, prosperity, happiness,
• 53:21
et cetera. And that God can bless and men can bless.
• 53:26
We're still working together on that right. So it says,
• 53:30
happen to me, ye that follow after righteousness, Ye that
• 53:34
seek the Lord. It says, look onto the rock whence
• 53:38
from whence ye were hewn, and to the whole of
• 53:40
the pit when ye were digged. Verse two, it says,
• 53:44
look onto Abraham, your father. The word look onto means
• 53:50
on the study. He is the portrait of what I
• 53:54
call the blessing or a blessed man. If you want
• 53:57
to study what it means to be blessed by God
• 54:00
in the Bible, your study is not complete until you
• 54:03
do a case study. Now, the way God works is
• 54:06
that sometimes in helping us understand him, he will call
• 54:10
men and deal with those men in a certain way
• 54:13
that they become an embodiment of certain possibilities. So every
• 54:18
time you don't understand what he's saying, he will refer
• 54:21
you to that man. If we are talking about a
• 54:25
blessed man, Abraham is the Bible's portrait of a blessed man.
• 54:30
If we're talking about encounters, Jacob, are we together, He's
• 54:34
encounter in Genesis thirty two is a portrait of what
• 54:38
the Bible calls encounter. If we're talking wisdom Solomon, for instance.
• 54:42
I see, now, so there are individuals who embody certain
• 54:45
spiritual possibilities, so that in studying their lives you can
• 54:49
learn the ways of God. So look onto Abraham. The
• 54:54
word look there does not just mean you can't even
• 54:56
find Abraham now he's long dead, but he means under
• 54:59
study him. There is a way that I let Abraham,
• 55:03
And if you follow that path, you will eventually arrive
• 55:07
an embodiment of a blessed man. It says I called
• 55:11
him alone and blessed him and increased him. So let's
• 55:15
study the life of Abraham to understand what it means
• 55:19
to be blessed. The Bible causes the blessing of Abraham
• 55:24
Genesis chapter twelve one to three. Write that for reference.
• 55:27
We already read that, won't go back to it again.
• 55:30
Then let's go to Genesis seventeen. We look at six
• 55:32
and seven. We're doing a bit of Bible study. And
• 55:38
I will make thee exceeding foodful. This is still God
• 55:41
speaking to Abraham. And I will make nations of THEE
• 55:45
and now and kings shall come out of the verse seven.
• 55:50
I will establish my covenant. Watch this between me and
• 55:54
the and I seed after THEE India generations for an
• 55:59
ever lasting covenant. What is a covenant to be a
• 56:03
god onto THEE and to your seed. So when you
• 56:09
say the God of Abraham, you are not just naming
• 56:15
God after Abraham. Are well together. He's saying that I
• 56:18
have an everlasting covenant to you and to your seed,
• 56:25
that I will be a god onto the and to
• 56:28
your seed. That is after d now Genesis chapter fifteen. Please,
• 56:34
Genesis chapter fifteen. Let's connect a few things very quickly
• 56:38
from verse one Genesis fifteen. From verse one. After these things,
• 56:44
the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying,
• 56:47
fear not, Abram, I am thy shield and your exceeding
• 56:51
great reward. And Abram said, Lord God, what will dou
• 56:56
give me? Remember at this time he's still without Isaac
• 56:59
is still without a child. What wilt thou give me?
• 57:02
Saying that I go childless? And the steward of my
• 57:05
house is Eliaza of Damascus verse three, reading to six.
• 57:09
And Abraham said, behold to me, thou hast given no seed,
• 57:16
and lo one born in my house is myn heir.
• 57:20
No one he's trying to say. And behold, the word
• 57:24
of the Lord came to him, saying, now everybody, listen,
• 57:27
this shall not be your heir, but he that shall
• 57:30
come out from your own boels shall be your heir.
• 57:34
Verse five. And he brought him forth abroad. He said,
• 57:38
look towards heaven and try to count the stars. Do
• 57:43
you know what he's doing. I'll explain to you shortly
• 57:45
if thou art able to count them. And he said
• 57:48
so shall your seed be finally verse six. Abraham believed
• 57:54
in the Lord, and it was credited to him for righteousness.
• 58:02
So there was a conversation that happened between God and Abraham.
• 58:07
The Bible says that God kept proposing to Abraham that
• 58:11
he was going to become a father of great nations
• 58:13
away together. But for some reason, and according to scripture,
• 58:17
it took Abraham a long time to believe God because
• 58:20
Abraham was not interested in having multitude children as the
• 58:23
stars or the sea show. He just needed a child
• 58:27
away together. He just that all his concern was to
• 58:30
have a child, and God was proposing something bigger, better, greater,
• 58:34
and it kept it kept, it kept frustrating Abraham, and
• 58:38
God didn't seem to get his attention in a green
• 58:41
on that promise and that covenant. And here's how God
• 58:44
helped him. He called him one night and tells Abraham,
• 58:47
look at the stars, try to count them. Then he
• 58:50
will count count and then you know, lose counting. He says,
• 58:54
that will that's the way your seed will be. Finally,
• 58:57
even though he had no child, Abrahm believed God, and
• 59:03
the Bible says it was credited onto him for righteousness.
• 59:08
Now keep that scripture. Turn with me to Romance chapter four.
• 59:14
This is where we thank God for this noble apostle
• 59:17
and apostle of apostles indeed begin from verse one. Paul
• 59:22
now makes reference to that encounter, and he now gives
• 59:26
us a biblical contextual perspective. What shall we say then,
• 59:32
that Abraham, our father, as pertaining to the flesh, has
• 59:35
found For if Abraham were justified by works he had
• 59:42
wherefore to glory, but not before God. Verse three, for
• 59:47
give us an IV. I'm a king, James person. Some
• 59:50
of you are not getting the dandal. So just give
• 59:53
us an IV or something so that that will help
• 59:57
us at least for now. For now we'll go back
• 59:59
to work where kings will go back to kjvisel are
• 1:00:04
an ivy? Okay, Abraham believed God and it was credited
• 1:00:10
to him as righteousness. You see that now, So Paul
• 1:00:13
is making reference to Genesis fifteen. Now verse four, verse four,
• 1:00:20
Now to the one who walks, wages are not credited
• 1:00:24
as a gift, but as an obligation. Paulice explaining, however,
• 1:00:29
to the one who does not work but trusts God,
• 1:00:33
who justifies the godly. Now Paul is telling us that
• 1:00:37
that thing has nothing to do with children. The blessing
• 1:00:42
of Abraham is a mystery that was hidden that Paul
• 1:00:45
now was unfailing to us. Are we together that what
• 1:00:49
you call the blessing of Abraham is a mystery that
• 1:00:53
acts out how to be justified by faith. So the
• 1:01:00
one who does not work but trust God, who justifies
• 1:01:03
young godly listen, their faith is credited as righteousness. Verse six. However,
• 1:01:10
David said the same thing, when you speake of the
• 1:01:13
blessedness of the one who got credits righteousness apart from work. Seven.
• 1:01:18
Now is a blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiving
• 1:01:23
and whose scenes are covered. Final verse blessed is the
• 1:01:27
one who's seen the Lord will never count against them.
• 1:01:30
So look up. What was he discuss it in that
• 1:01:34
whole conversation? Just just help us under the anointing. Now
• 1:01:37
look at this, he's saying. Paul is teaching us that
• 1:01:42
the issue of stars, the issue of our children, whatever
• 1:01:46
it is. To the canal man, he's just looking at
• 1:01:49
the story. But Paul is saying, there is a deeper
• 1:01:52
mystery in that story. And if all you look at
• 1:01:55
is the story, then you've not gotten the revelation that
• 1:01:57
out of that story. The mystery is justification by faith.
• 1:02:02
How a man will believe God over something your ability
• 1:02:06
cannot produce, And that the moment you believe God, it
• 1:02:10
is credited to you. That was the formula that was
• 1:02:13
used to impart salvation. So a message comes to believe us,
• 1:02:18
and even though we do not it looks impossible, we
• 1:02:22
believe and we receive the blessing of Abraham. So the
• 1:02:29
blessing of Abraham is not cars, it's not houses. It
• 1:02:33
is justification by faith. Someone learning Galatians chapter three gave
• 1:02:44
us the Startea, I love and love Galatians three, I
• 1:02:53
love your presence, I love, I love, I love you
• 1:03:02
ges I love, I love, I love your presence. Now
• 1:03:15
read for you Christ Paul again has redeemed us. He's
• 1:03:21
talking redemption now from the cost of the law by
• 1:03:25
becoming a cost for us. For it is written cost
• 1:03:30
is everyone who is hung on the cross or on
• 1:03:32
the pole. Toward end fifteen give it to us from versa.
• 1:03:43
Let's go back to KJV thirteen fourteen. Let's go back
• 1:03:47
to fourteen. Media that the talk to me everybody that
• 1:03:54
the my common who now questions how does the blessing
• 1:04:01
of Abraham come upon the gentiles? Because we're not part
• 1:04:04
of his natural descent, So how are we supposed to
• 1:04:07
receive that? If all he was talking about was physical things,
• 1:04:11
you don't qualify to inherit anything from Abraham because we
• 1:04:15
are not used historically. Are we together? We are gentiles,
• 1:04:19
so that talk should not even affect us. But now
• 1:04:22
he says Christ, he introduces a factor that Christ has
• 1:04:26
redeemed us from the cause of the law being made
• 1:04:28
a cause for us, for it is written, cause is
• 1:04:31
he that hangs on a tree? And the reason for
• 1:04:34
all of that verse fourteen is that the blessing of
• 1:04:39
Abraham replace that expression that justification by faith may come
• 1:04:45
upon the Gentiles through Jesus Christ. So the next time
• 1:04:52
you hear the blessing of Abraham, what it means is
• 1:04:55
the formula Abraham used to be credited as righteous? Is
• 1:05:00
the gift we are giving? What is the formula? The
• 1:05:03
word is ninety The word comes to you in your
• 1:05:06
mouth and in your heart. If you believe it is
• 1:05:09
credited to you. That you have no power to save yourself,
• 1:05:15
You have no power to lift yourself. Are we together,
• 1:05:18
but that you can believe in the finished work of Christ,
• 1:05:22
believing that He came as a propreciation for your sin,
• 1:05:25
that you hung upon the tree. Are we together now? Yes,
• 1:05:30
that the verdict is that all have seen and have
• 1:05:32
fallen short of the glory of God. But that you
• 1:05:35
believe that report as frail as you are, not feeling righteous,
• 1:05:39
not feeling worthy like Abraham. If you believe immediately, it
• 1:05:45
is credited to you for righteousness. The blessing of Abraham
• 1:05:53
is not cars, it is not houses. No, the blessing
• 1:05:57
of Abraham is justificate by faith. Now, but listen, justification
• 1:06:07
by faith is not the end. It is a means.
• 1:06:11
You see that it does not end there. So receiving
• 1:06:15
the blessing of Abraham is a passage to go further
• 1:06:19
that leads you to receiving the blessing. Without receiving the
• 1:06:25
blessing of Abraham, you cannot receive the blessing. And if
• 1:06:31
you do not receive the blessing, you cannot have blessings.
• 1:06:39
So the journey of a blessed man does not start
• 1:06:42
with intellect intell no, no, no, no no. It starts with
• 1:06:46
receiving the blessing of Abraham. I will show you how
• 1:06:50
this happened. Just just be patient with me. It says that
• 1:06:54
the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles through
• 1:06:56
Christ Jesus. Are you saying it there that we might
• 1:06:59
receive see the promise that already tells you what the
• 1:07:03
blessing is, that we might receive the promise of the
• 1:07:07
spirit still true faith. Then it puts a full stop.
• 1:07:12
So the end of that journey is that the blessing
• 1:07:16
of Abraham, or just you into receiving the blessing. Whilst
• 1:07:22
the blessing in the Old Testament ended with supernatural pronouncements
• 1:07:27
that programmed you towards a life of grace, this one
• 1:07:30
is beyond the pronouncement, is a personality alongside all his
• 1:07:35
possibilities coming to enduell a believer. The Holy Spirit is
• 1:07:40
called the blessing. Now hold on, hold on, hold on,
• 1:07:46
hold on, keep your finger here. I hope you like
• 1:07:49
Bible studies. Don't find a way of keeping your finger
• 1:07:53
on this scripture. Because we're coming back. Go quickly with
• 1:07:56
me to some one thirty three. I'm one thairty three
• 1:08:02
A learned to see the caaparata. Give it to us
• 1:08:05
place some one thirty three Behold, how good and how
• 1:08:09
pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity,
• 1:08:12
a wea Bible students. Verse two. It is like the
• 1:08:15
precious ointment upon the head that ran upon the bed,
• 1:08:19
even Aaron's bed, and went down to his garments. Verse three.
• 1:08:24
And as the due of Harmon and the dude that
• 1:08:29
descended upon the amount of Zion. How does that deal
• 1:08:32
come descending upon the mount of Zion. For there in
• 1:08:36
that corporate gathering away together the Lord had commanded the
• 1:08:42
go to asks Chapter two and verse one. Now you
• 1:08:47
will see a plane out of this adds chapter two.
• 1:08:50
Remember it says when brethren gather that together, something happens,
• 1:08:54
whatever descends, It is called what the talk to me?
• 1:08:58
Are we Bible students that when they got together God
• 1:09:02
gathering that state among the many things that descend, like
• 1:09:06
the deal from Zion, is the blessing even life forevermore.
• 1:09:13
Now in that chapter two and verse one, the Bible says,
• 1:09:16
when the day of Pentecost was fully came, they were
• 1:09:21
together in did they fulfill some one toty three? Now
• 1:09:26
let's say what is about to come? Suddenly there was
• 1:09:28
a sound from heaven as of a mighty washing wind.
• 1:09:33
And it filled the house where they were sitting verse three.
• 1:09:36
If you believer, they appeared onto them proven tongues as
• 1:09:40
of fire, and it sat upon each one of them,
• 1:09:42
number four, and they were all full with the No,
• 1:09:47
you got that wrong, with the with the someone learning,
• 1:10:12
so someone that It tells us that in that gathering
• 1:10:17
descending from Zion, like the due of Harmon, God has
• 1:10:20
commanded that the blessing should rest even life or evermore.
• 1:10:24
They're about to act that on the day of Pentacos,
• 1:10:27
never knowing that it was written already. They were gathered
• 1:10:30
in one accord. Suddenly the blessing not a pronouncement. No,
• 1:10:37
in the Old Testament it was a pronouncement, But this
• 1:10:40
time around he was beyond just speaking. It was an
• 1:10:43
embodiment of the speakings of God. A lost Paracletus, they
• 1:10:48
call him. He's the paraclet beyond just empowering you to
• 1:10:53
make progress. It's someone learning now. The Bible says he
• 1:10:58
rested on each and every one of them, each and
• 1:11:02
every one of them, and immediately Isaiah thirty two one
• 1:11:08
and verse fifteen became a reality that until the spirit
• 1:11:11
of God is bought from upon us from one high,
• 1:11:14
then the willderness. It's a spiritual language. Shall be counted
• 1:11:18
for a full vine. Three thousand people were saved in
• 1:11:23
one encounter, and from there there was a movement that
• 1:11:26
has become atopable force today. If someone learning now prays
• 1:11:32
the name of the Lord. So sit down. Let's go
• 1:11:35
back to Galicians chapter three. We read thirteen to fifteen.
• 1:11:39
Now jump with me to twenty six. We read twenty
• 1:11:42
six to twenty nine. If someone is learning, say amen
• 1:11:47
and your sound doctrine. It's sometimes the teachings line uponline.
• 1:11:52
Connecting scriptures will take a while, but once you are patient,
• 1:11:55
you now begin to see the threat. Do you know
• 1:11:57
why I'm stretching you like this because conviction is built
• 1:12:01
on understanding. It is not what you do that produces power.
• 1:12:05
Is the understanding that supports what you do. So that
• 1:12:09
when you tell someone be blessed, or you say I
• 1:12:11
am blessed, these are the revelations that frame. They are
• 1:12:14
like the bolts that tie your faith. It becomes anchored,
• 1:12:19
unmovable for year. All children of God, how faith in
• 1:12:27
the similitude of Abraham? Are you saying that now you
• 1:12:32
became children of adoption by faith in Christ? Jesus twenty seven.
• 1:12:38
For as many of you who have been baptized into
• 1:12:41
Christ have put on Christ, there is neither you nor Greek.
• 1:12:48
There is neither bond nor free. There is neither male
• 1:12:52
nor female. For year all one in Christ. Jesus shout
• 1:12:57
verse twenty nine. If you a believer, want to go,
• 1:13:00
and if ye be Christ, then I ye Abraham's seed.
• 1:13:12
I'll explain to you what that means. That you had
• 1:13:16
no business even studying everything God told Abraham because it
• 1:13:21
was between him and his seed. Unfortunately, the seed was
• 1:13:26
not Isaac. It was his strategy. If the seed was Isaac,
• 1:13:30
God meant Isaac was one child who came. So Abraham
• 1:13:35
taught God meant him and Isaac. But Paul came by
• 1:13:39
the spirit and said, no, I have investigated this spiritually.
• 1:13:43
The seed was not Isaac. It was Jesus. Because Isaac
• 1:13:47
does not have the capacity to bring everyone into that blessing,
• 1:13:52
but through Christ, so that the one who is a
• 1:13:54
Jew connected by natural descent and the one who is alienated.
• 1:14:00
And the proof that we all came to Christ was
• 1:14:03
in Acts chapter ten, because that was when the salvation
• 1:14:07
of the gentiles was start. Until then, even the Gentiles
• 1:14:10
did not believe. Remember Paul was angry, I mean Peter.
• 1:14:14
Now Peter is having a siesta, and all of a
• 1:14:18
sudden a trance comes before him and he sees all
• 1:14:22
kinds of unclean animals, and he's told to kill and
• 1:14:24
it is no, no, no, no, no no. I'm a Jew.
• 1:14:26
We don't do all these kinds of things. They never
• 1:14:28
call clean. Unclean what I have called clean? What's the
• 1:14:33
meaning of this? There's someone waiting for you. Go down
• 1:14:36
and meet them. You will go to the house of Cornelios.
• 1:14:41
Are we together now? And when he went there, he
• 1:14:44
now said, wow, will Peter yet speak these things? The
• 1:14:47
Bible says the blessing like it came. I hope you
• 1:14:50
know that everyone who received the Holy Goes in Acts
• 1:14:53
chapter two was a Jew. There was no gentile there.
• 1:14:56
Now the same Holygoes exactly like it happened. And Peter said,
• 1:15:01
what happened towards shoes has now happened to the Gentiles,
• 1:15:04
even without circumcision. It is a truly God is no
• 1:15:07
respect our persons. This was his verdict. What it does
• 1:15:15
to the British, it does to the Africa. Don't worry,
• 1:15:18
We're coming there. You will now see that Christ has
• 1:15:22
become the equalizer of all things. I can be disadvantaged
• 1:15:27
by my natural dissent, I can be disadvantaged by my background.
• 1:15:31
But when I come into Christ, my goodness, the spirit
• 1:15:35
of God in my life has become the advantage, the
• 1:15:40
redefiner of my destiny, the redefiner of my possibilities. We
• 1:15:46
believe that shot a man a person. I came from
• 1:15:53
a family of idol worship. You are right until you
• 1:15:56
bring Christ into the equation and possible. I know that
• 1:16:01
by my background, we have a we have a truck
• 1:16:04
record of diabetes, we have a truck record of failure.
• 1:16:08
You are right. But once the Blessing of Abraham wants
• 1:16:11
to hear the gospel, preach that Jesus loved you, listen, listen.
• 1:16:17
When we go around preaching the gospel, it's beyond just
• 1:16:20
Christian fanatism. We are bringing people into the blessing. The
• 1:16:26
only way to come into the Blessing is to follow
• 1:16:30
the pattern of Abraham. You hear that report, then you believe.
• 1:16:37
You don't deserve it. What you believe, and like faithful Abraham,
• 1:16:41
it is credited immediately. It's a spiritual fact. Your body
• 1:16:46
may not show it. Your mind may not yet show it,
• 1:16:49
but it's a reality. And immediately the Holy Ghost is
• 1:16:53
ready to dwell. You now hopefully would would fight a
• 1:17:00
place to pray today. Don't miss the remaining part. I
• 1:17:03
will show you how to release the blessing and you
• 1:17:05
will see that having the blessing is like having a
• 1:17:09
brand new phone. But releasing the blessing you can have
• 1:17:13
a brand new phone and keep it there forever are
• 1:17:16
we together? Yes, you see what defines our possibilities in life.
• 1:17:28
Many times it's not the love of God, because he
• 1:17:31
loves everyone equally. But our possibilities are defined by the
• 1:17:36
extent and the depth of our spiritual understanding. What you
• 1:17:40
understand is what can rewrite your possibilities. So you can
• 1:17:45
find two believers saved. But one is taking advantage of
• 1:17:49
these resources that reside in heavenly places in Christ, and
• 1:17:54
with those resources is commanding such dominion. And to the
• 1:17:58
other one, you are wondering, God, why does it look
• 1:18:01
like you are helping one fellow. You are helping one brother,
• 1:18:04
you're helping one sister. You are uniquely annointing this man
• 1:18:07
of God, and I am here. No, it is not
• 1:18:10
the love of Jesus, it is the depth of your understanding.
• 1:18:17
I submit to you without sounding arrogant. There are certain
• 1:18:20
things that cannot happen to me. My frame of understanding
• 1:18:24
has reason beyond. If Satan will attack me, he will
• 1:18:27
use another strategy. Not certain things. No, the revelation is
• 1:18:31
a defense. It's going to be a waste of his
• 1:18:33
time to come through certain things. Are we together? There
• 1:18:37
are scriptures that are being implanted. They shoot like arrows.
• 1:18:42
You saving minister deliverance to people and do all of
• 1:18:45
these things. The reason is because a man of God
• 1:18:48
is like a midwife. You are helping people through the
• 1:18:51
passage until they get to that set of perfection. The
• 1:18:54
set of perfection is not to be praying deliverance and
• 1:18:56
to be no no, no, no, no no. There is
• 1:18:58
a state of victory where the reality of your victory
• 1:19:01
in crisis sated established but on your way there. Will
• 1:19:05
continue to help you while we teach you. Are we
• 1:19:09
together now? It's like someone having a dream. Now, Apostle,
• 1:19:13
I saw a course on your life or whatever it is.
• 1:19:16
I honestly, I'm not even going to pray about it.
• 1:19:18
The reason is it's not pride. Is that there's no
• 1:19:21
possibility for imagining that. Again, I have built a garrison
• 1:19:25
of revelation. Now it takes a while. It takes a while.
• 1:19:31
It's like calling me a baby, like an infant, and
• 1:19:34
then I feel offended. Are we together? Show has convinced
• 1:19:38
there's no way of my mind thinking of myself as
• 1:19:41
a baby looking for breast milk. Again, that's what God
• 1:19:44
is doing to you, some of you. By what you
• 1:19:47
are hearing. You will check and find out that certain diseases.
• 1:19:50
I hope you know that certain fashions attacked based on
• 1:19:55
our gaps in knowledge. He does not just attack you.
• 1:19:58
His studies your frame of revelation. What do you not
• 1:20:02
know that defines the way he attacks you. When Jesus
• 1:20:07
was hungry, how did he attack him with the matters
• 1:20:10
of food? So Satan does not just come and attack you. Know,
• 1:20:13
he profiles your spiritual understanding because understanding is light in
• 1:20:18
the spirit. It's not hidden. To the degree to which
• 1:20:22
you have understanding, we can know in the spirit when
• 1:20:24
we look at you spiritually. Satan has regarded many believers
• 1:20:32
to think that the way to work in the blessing
• 1:20:37
is just to believe that a car will come favor
• 1:20:40
will come. And there's nothing wrong with that, except that
• 1:20:44
you see, we have a more superior expression of the blessing.
• 1:20:50
They never had the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, but
• 1:20:53
they had speakings, and He backed that speakings. But for
• 1:20:57
us now beyond just a word, the pronouncement still stands,
• 1:21:01
but it is more superior because the Holy Spirit he
• 1:21:06
indwells every single believer, so that if you will never
• 1:21:11
have a chance in your life for someone to make
• 1:21:13
a pronouncement on your life, if you are saved and
• 1:21:16
you have the Holy goes. Now the Holy Gooes came
• 1:21:19
to cure. The reason why is or cried or cried
• 1:21:24
because the pronouncement was limited. It had left the Father.
• 1:21:29
Are we together now we don't have to cry. You
• 1:21:31
can't say God born again at forty You are not
• 1:21:34
too late. No, because he came on tatty people, you
• 1:21:37
are not too late. The issue of Isaac and Jacob
• 1:21:41
was that it could only come on one person. But
• 1:21:43
now in Christ, my brother, my sister, Lester, UK, Canada,
• 1:21:49
everywhere someone learning. Ladies and gentlemen, listen to me. I
• 1:22:00
explain to you as we prepare to pray. One of
• 1:22:03
the reasons for the powerlessness of the Body of Christ
• 1:22:09
is that we jump at so many things that we've
• 1:22:12
not taken time to build a strong foundation of understanding.
• 1:22:16
There is no strong doctrinal understanding. So as much as
• 1:22:21
we rejoice yes and one with Christ and this, there's
• 1:22:24
no depth of conviction. And so while we grate and
• 1:22:28
jump in church, in the realm of the spirit, there
• 1:22:30
is no power to produce an effect. Help that lady
• 1:22:34
Dadian annoyed? Are we together? You seem when your revelation
• 1:22:42
is like an electromagnetic It's like it's fair. When you
• 1:22:45
come into a place, you also bring your possibilities with you.
• 1:22:50
That's how it works. That's how it works. Are we together?
• 1:22:55
Preachers lend this when you're coming. It's not just a
• 1:22:58
message we're bringing. No, you are bringing your cloud, your atmosphere,
• 1:23:02
your possibilities. There are things that have no business happening
• 1:23:05
to people. But because you have come, Ah, the Holy
• 1:23:08
Gost is writing through the vehicle of your knowledge, and
• 1:23:11
he's blessing other people. I'll show you an example. How
• 1:23:16
many people prayed in the prison and sank Was it
• 1:23:19
not just two people, but how many people benefited? Paul
• 1:23:25
and Silas alone pray it was not everybody who was praying,
• 1:23:29
but at least they did not fight them. But when
• 1:23:32
that Charkina came, the Bible said, all doors. The jailer
• 1:23:37
was about to kill himself, and he said, no, we're
• 1:23:38
all safe. We're all safe. We're not in a hurry
• 1:23:41
to go out. We understand that the will of God
• 1:23:44
is connected to this deliverance. Let's go to your house.
• 1:23:46
It's about the salvation. Now. Let me tell you this.
• 1:23:51
Ladies and gentlemen. You see the reason why, Bastosa, why
• 1:23:58
the healing ministry seems to have diminished. You know why,
• 1:24:02
because we're more interested in being called healers than being
• 1:24:07
transmuters of his life. Most of the people, and your
• 1:24:13
pastor has done an intelligent dissertation on the move of God,
• 1:24:19
and all of that was part of his PhD. I
• 1:24:23
am a student of revivals, and I have studied the
• 1:24:26
move of God for a bit. I know a bit
• 1:24:30
about the move of God. I can't tell you the
• 1:24:32
reason why we fail to see the power of God.
• 1:24:35
The reason why the average believer cannot rise to efficiency
• 1:24:39
and stature is because there's been a compromise on the
• 1:24:43
formula for growth. Do you know that there are certain foundations.
• 1:24:50
If you do not understand, you will never really get
• 1:24:52
anything right again in the kingdom. It matters who mentors you.
• 1:24:57
It matters what they tell you about God. It matters
• 1:25:00
what they tell you about salvation. This is why we
• 1:25:04
travel around not only ministrying to God's people, but strengthening
• 1:25:07
men and women of God to say, come, let's sit
• 1:25:10
on the drawing board. Let's with all humility examine these things.
• 1:25:14
The powerlessness of the Body of Christ is largely the
• 1:25:18
powerlessness of the teachings that come, because people are empowered
• 1:25:23
by the words are we together? Now? Yes, the words
• 1:25:29
that I speak unto you, they are spirit, but they
• 1:25:33
can also be weapons of mass destruction. Something you can
• 1:25:37
hear in one salmon will make you a powerless believer forever.
• 1:25:41
Something you can get through one salmon will make you
• 1:25:44
become a mighty person. If someone learning tonight, so you see,
• 1:25:50
if you really understand the blessing, it should not lead
• 1:25:54
you to just jumping and shouting about cars. It should
• 1:25:57
draw you to the Holy Spirit. Truly, he is the Blessing. Ah, Yes, sir,
• 1:26:07
he is. He is. And now of the richness of
• 1:26:11
your fellowship. With him comes power, comes wisdom comes, grace
• 1:26:17
comes favor. Now there are many people who want favor
• 1:26:21
isolated from the Holy Spirit, the one breakthrough, isolated from
• 1:26:26
the Holy Spirit. Did you see that if the teaching
• 1:26:29
of the blessing was done correctly, it will produce a
• 1:26:32
generation that is deep in their intimacy with God, not
• 1:26:37
just people who want things. Because the Blessing of Abraham
• 1:26:42
has nothing to do with material expressions. It is a
• 1:26:45
formula within that discussion. The conversation between God and Abraham
• 1:26:50
was hidden a mystery that Paul unraveled. That is not
• 1:26:54
about the stars, it's not about the sun. It's a
• 1:26:57
formula where God justifies the on Josh, a formula that
• 1:27:01
leads you to meet the Holy Spirit. As mighty as
• 1:27:07
Jesus was an is, he could not do anything until
• 1:27:10
the Holy Spirit came, and he said, I have many
• 1:27:12
things to tell you, to teach you, but he cannot
• 1:27:15
bear them. Now how be it when he the blessing
• 1:27:20
the spirit of truth. Now you understand him as an empowerment,
• 1:27:25
but his more than a pronouncement. In the Old Testament,
• 1:27:30
they did not have the possibility of the Holy Spirit
• 1:27:32
in dwelling them. He would come and leave, so the
• 1:27:35
Sami is wou say cast me not away from your presence,
• 1:27:38
and take not your Holy Spirit from me, because he
• 1:27:42
came to rest upon them, perform a task and leave.
• 1:27:45
But now to the believer, we have become his habitation.
• 1:27:51
Now he comes to rest. But utilizing his ministry is
• 1:27:55
a separate dynamics that you will be learning in the
• 1:27:57
course of this. When you say I am blessed, if
• 1:28:02
you mean I have some money in my account, no, no,
• 1:28:05
you didn't get that right. If you say I am
• 1:28:08
blessed meaning I have some academic papers before me, well
• 1:28:12
that's fair, but that's not really it. The correct protocol
• 1:28:16
is the depth of your relationship with the Holy Spirit.
• 1:28:20
Then it now translates, no matter how rich you are,
• 1:28:26
if you do not have the blessing of Abraham justification
• 1:28:31
by faith, you are not blessed. You say that we
• 1:28:33
misuse that word. Blessed means wealth, bless means all of that.
• 1:28:38
But in Bible language, when we say a man is blessed, yes,
• 1:28:42
what we mean the man is saved by hearing the
• 1:28:45
gospel and applying the faith like Abraham did. Are we
• 1:28:50
together now justified in Christ number two that man has
• 1:28:54
received the person and the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
• 1:28:58
And in partnership with the Holy sp he is now
• 1:29:01
accessing the resources that have been kept for us in
• 1:29:04
heavenly places, the resources of faith, the resources of wisdom,
• 1:29:08
the resources of the world, the resources of power. And
• 1:29:12
with these resources you begin to play life like a chess.
• 1:29:15
You manifest a level of dominion and power and power
• 1:29:24
and power. He blessed them by saying, But this second
• 1:29:29
edom and the seed that have come from him, he
• 1:29:32
did not bless us by saying. He blessed us by
• 1:29:35
giving a were together. He made a pronouncement on the
• 1:29:40
first edom. But to the second Adom he went beyond speaking.
• 1:29:44
He gave. He gave every time you mentioned the word blessing,
• 1:29:50
see the cross. Every time you mentioned the word blessing,
• 1:29:54
see the spirit of God. Every time you mentioned the
• 1:29:57
word blessing. See that you have legitimate access to wisdom,
• 1:30:03
to favor, to defense, to power. Yes, sir, Now does
• 1:30:08
that mean pronouncements don't work? No? No, no, no no.
• 1:30:11
We will talk about the activation of the blessing because
• 1:30:15
it was while Peter speak. Don't forget that speaking does
• 1:30:20
not end. But while he speaks, it is more than
• 1:30:25
just oil that comes. It's the Holy Spirit. God has
• 1:30:30
given me an assignment through the theme of your conference,
• 1:30:33
to help you truly understand the blessing. For some of you,
• 1:30:36
you are both happy and disappointed because you see the
• 1:30:39
idea you came with about the blessing is just to
• 1:30:42
speak upon you that cars should come and houses, and
• 1:30:45
you will get all that. Let me tell you more
• 1:30:47
than it. You will get what brings it. Allelujah, what
• 1:30:55
you are receiving tonight. Listen to me, ladies and gentlemen.
• 1:30:58
That's what the Bible costs, true chees. I call it
• 1:31:02
the capital that buys money, because money itself is a
• 1:31:06
product and there is something that buys it. Believers must
• 1:31:14
be grounded, Pastor, thank you for this conference. Believers must
• 1:31:18
be matured. Look at me, believers, we're about to pray.
• 1:31:20
Hear me. One of the things I hope you learn
• 1:31:23
in this conference is to go back to the root
• 1:31:26
of your spiritual understanding and begin to investigate the things
• 1:31:30
that you have built your faith upon. Do not be
• 1:31:33
ashamed to start again. There are many people, I tell
• 1:31:37
you sincerely, they're building on shadows now. And I don't
• 1:31:41
mean to speak against past us and all of that.
• 1:31:43
I'm all for the body of Christ. But perhaps you
• 1:31:46
were safe and you never had the opportunity to be
• 1:31:48
under a system of structured spiritual guidance, to learn doctrine
• 1:31:53
methodically line uponline. You will be surprised how many pastors
• 1:31:57
do not understand the readiments of salvation. Do you talk
• 1:32:00
of the business of power and then to be trusted
• 1:32:04
with God's program across the nations. No, it takes more
• 1:32:08
than the awareness of His love for you. There are
• 1:32:10
things you must know. I write these things to you
• 1:32:13
that he may know, He may know, Allelujah. So let
• 1:32:20
me summarize it this way. Outside of the blessing of
• 1:32:24
Abraham that leads you to the blessing, there is no
• 1:32:29
possibility to truly be blessed. The only one who can
• 1:32:34
say I am blessed is the one who has partaken
• 1:32:39
of the blessing of Abraham, and through that has received
• 1:32:44
freely of the blessing. To such a one you can
• 1:32:48
say I am blessed. I see that now. So the
• 1:32:55
one who is blessed, it's not just the one who
• 1:32:57
is rich without Christ, not the one who is prosperous
• 1:33:01
without Christ. Absolutely you can get all these things without Christ.
• 1:33:05
But you see in describing for you the expressions of
• 1:33:07
the blessing. Hopefully tomorrow you will see the things money
• 1:33:11
cannot buy. He says, peace. I give you my peace,
• 1:33:16
not as the world gives. And then you will bear
• 1:33:19
witness to me by tomorrow. How many wealthy people you
• 1:33:21
know who cannot sleep because there is a dimension of
• 1:33:25
peace and joy that is of the Holy Ghost. The
• 1:33:28
ability to love through storms, These are things money cannot buy.
• 1:33:31
How about the foot of the I thought you would
• 1:33:36
get it right, the foot of the These are things
• 1:33:42
you cannot buy. The food the life of Christ. That
• 1:33:46
character apostle like came from an angry family. A guys,
• 1:33:51
we are like that. Once I'm angry, I give it
• 1:33:54
to you. No, when you encounter the blessing, he begins
• 1:33:59
to culture you see the blessing. The Holy Spirit comes
• 1:34:03
upon you, and it is likened to all lave. He
• 1:34:07
releases something. There's oil that is released. It's called you
• 1:34:10
are nineteen. Within him, it begins to do a work
• 1:34:14
in you, ladies and gentlemen, to produce that christ like character.
• 1:34:19
And then, because of the presence of the blessing, the
• 1:34:22
Holy Spirit capacity is given to you to both know
• 1:34:26
the will of God and understand the modusuperandi of the kingdom.
• 1:34:30
Now you can begin to engage the kingdom with intelligence
• 1:34:33
in a way that produces dominion, victory, and profit to
• 1:34:37
your Christian experience. Then you begin to bear fruits thirtyfold,
• 1:34:42
fruits sixtyfold, and fruits. Listen, it is at that level
• 1:34:48
you will lay up wealth God like dust. Most people
• 1:34:53
think God does not prosper, God does not lift, God
• 1:34:57
does not favor. You are joking, you don't you know
• 1:35:00
the God of the Bible. Are we together? Yeah? But
• 1:35:05
what he needs is your heart and your understanding, and
• 1:35:08
then you will see levels of favor that you would
• 1:35:10
never imagine. Be meet me on these ladies and gentlemen.
• 1:35:14
Now let me wrap up in business. For those of
• 1:35:19
you who are business oriented, there's a law in business.
• 1:35:22
We call it different names. We call it the law
• 1:35:24
of attraction. And it's also a law that has been
• 1:35:30
received in physics, chemistry, you know new Turn's law of gravitation.
• 1:35:38
Remember this is a campus praise the Lord. Yeah, I'm
• 1:35:46
wrapping up with this. I want to tell you something
• 1:35:48
that's very powerful, and I'll just leave it on that note,
• 1:35:50
and then we'll take it tomorrow. People call it, others
• 1:35:54
call it all kinds of things. They call human beings.
• 1:35:58
So the law of attraction purports that men exhibit magnetic properties.
• 1:36:03
And they say that in relation to wealth and opportunities.
• 1:36:06
And they credited to the cosmic forces, they credited to
• 1:36:10
modern nature. The concept is not wrong. It is who
• 1:36:14
or what they credited to that is wrong. It is
• 1:36:17
not the universe. No, there is a God. All blessings
• 1:36:21
come from God. Are we together? But here's the part
• 1:36:24
of it. Allow me for a moment to borrow and
• 1:36:29
draw from the wealth of science as a wrap up.
• 1:36:33
Isaac Newton, in studying the cosmos and in studying bodies,
• 1:36:40
among the many postulations that he came up with was
• 1:36:43
one that we know for those who are science based
• 1:36:46
as the universal law of gravitation. And here's what he said.
• 1:36:51
That everybody in the universe attracts every other body. Right which,
• 1:37:00
for any two bodies, he says, it's directly proportional to
• 1:37:04
the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the
• 1:37:08
square of the distance between them. Let me summarize that.
• 1:37:11
It means that everything you are looking for is also
• 1:37:15
looking for you. Hold on, but there is something it
• 1:37:22
is looking for in you, and instruction has been given
• 1:37:26
creation that the things you look for should only follow
• 1:37:30
you when they find out that certain things are intact.
• 1:37:34
I pray that you find the world of believing this.
• 1:37:37
The Jews understand this. This is what makes certain people
• 1:37:43
exhibit magnetic properties. So a person can come into a
• 1:37:47
land like Leicester and find out that just when they arrived,
• 1:37:51
a helper also arrived. It looks like it's coincidence. No,
• 1:37:55
it's a law in the spirit. And show you the
• 1:37:57
implication of the blessing in physics again, please forgive me.
• 1:38:02
That's what we call the law of resonance. Are we
• 1:38:04
together that when you hit a tuning fork at a
• 1:38:07
certain frequency, every other body within its vicinity that is
• 1:38:12
at that frequency will vibrate without being touched. This is
• 1:38:15
how it is. As you rise in the spirit knowing God,
• 1:38:19
there is literally an energy that comes from you and
• 1:38:24
it regins to resonate with the possibilities that are connected
• 1:38:28
to your destiny. I really want you to believe this
• 1:38:32
is why a man of God can step into a
• 1:38:34
land all of a sudden a keyboard, this comes, a guitar,
• 1:38:38
risk comes a media person comes and you are thinking,
• 1:38:41
how did they get them? You don't get them. They
• 1:38:43
are attracted by the health of your relationship. And listen,
• 1:38:51
the deeper you are with the Holy Ghost, the more
• 1:38:54
you exhibit those magnetic properties. Have you seen how go
• 1:38:58
to the port, the seaport, You have a number of
• 1:39:00
them here. Have you seen magnet lift cars? Very heavy cars,
• 1:39:07
very heavy you know, maybe bosses whatever it is, And
• 1:39:11
you're wondering, I mean, it just turns itself on it
• 1:39:14
and picks it up like a fly and moves it
• 1:39:17
somewhere else. Pick containers. That's how you can be. You
• 1:39:20
can grow your relationship with the Holy Ghost to a
• 1:39:24
point where you exhibit such strong magnetic influences, not just
• 1:39:29
to heal, not just to prosper. When you step into
• 1:39:32
a territory, it's like a sound deep calls onto deep.
• 1:39:36
Every body and everything that must partner with your destiny
• 1:39:40
starts to grab the tate towards you. It is true.
• 1:39:50
So the next time you ask how shall these things be?
• 1:39:53
Seeing that I know not a man, the answer is
• 1:39:56
still what Gabriel told Mary, the Holy Ghost. It will
• 1:40:00
always be him. You can't take him away, And we're
• 1:40:04
not just talking of falling down and standing up. No,
• 1:40:08
we have so undilutilized his ministry, especially Pentecostals and Charismatics.
• 1:40:15
We've reduced him to some kind of Penecostal gibberish. We've
• 1:40:19
not tapped into the wisdom the health of that relationship.
• 1:40:23
You can prove that you are blessed by the dominion
• 1:40:26
that your life commands. You can prove that you have
• 1:40:29
met Christ. You can prove the health of your relationship.
• 1:40:40
I received, I'm manifest your palth and eloisom till the
• 1:40:52
nations cgs lifted up, so that I received, I'm manifest
• 1:41:07
  your power. And you wait.
• 1:41:12
Speaker 3: To the seasons lifted up.
• 1:41:24
Speaker 1: Someone's self. Tell me I'm blessed. Now you know what
• 1:41:28
you are saying. Say I'm blessed. If you mean I'm rich,
• 1:41:34
you are not wrong. If you mean I'm favored, you're
• 1:41:37
not wrong. If you mean I go forward, you're not wrong.
• 1:43:21
Put them who are the called according to his purposes.
• 1:43:24
Say I am blessed because I'm like a tree that
• 1:43:28
is planted by the river side. I don't I don't wither,
• 1:43:33
and I bear my foot in season. Everything I do
• 1:43:36
cross per Say I'm blessed because I may not see
• 1:43:40
the wind, I may not see rain, but by the
• 1:43:42
Holy Goos, my faly shall be felled. Hi, I can't
• 1:43:46
put say I'm blessed, because by that energizing I can
• 1:43:53
run through a troop, and by my God, I can
• 1:43:56
leap over a wall. Say I'm blessed because I'm a
• 1:44:01
channel of blessing everyone's and I shake. I'm a transmitter
• 1:44:05
of life. I can be a cause. I'm not a
• 1:44:08
pardon to my world. I'm a bleasant. Say I'm blessed, blessed.
• 1:44:18
This right here is a theology of the blessing. Thank
• 1:44:26
you Jesus, Thank you, Jesus, Thank you Jesus. Allelujah. So
• 1:44:39
we'll tie it here for now. Let me encourage you
• 1:44:43
make whatever sacrifice you can to be here tomorrow. Well,
• 1:44:48
just tonight, we just laid a few foundations so that
• 1:44:51
when we build, you'll be like one of your buildings,
• 1:44:55
the tallest. That from that altitude you will watch life
• 1:45:00
and take it like an animal. I truly believe that
• 1:45:05
they will be remarkable testimonies some of you between tonight
• 1:45:10
and tomorrow. Believe me, and I speak to you by
• 1:45:13
the spirit of God. You see, one of the ways
• 1:45:18
to receive from men is to find out whether they
• 1:45:21
are blessed. If they are, then trust what comes from them,
• 1:45:26
because the Holy Goost becomes in us a river that flows,
• 1:45:31
and the Bible says it gives life Ezekil forty seven Revelations,
• 1:45:36
John chapter nine. It gives life, Allelujah. Allow me for
• 1:45:42
one moment to make an autar call. We spoke about
• 1:45:47
the blessing of Abraham. That's where it starts. If you
• 1:45:51
ignore the blessing of Abraham, It's not about the name.
• 1:45:55
It's about the protocol, the strategy. It was just credited
• 1:45:59
to one man. Are we together? Like imagine you call
• 1:46:03
this hole Joshua Salman Hall. Whether I'm alife or dead,
• 1:46:08
you just gave me the honor for whatever reason. That's
• 1:46:11
what it means. The blessing of Abraham does not just
• 1:46:14
mean it is Abraham's blessing. His name was tied to
• 1:46:17
it in honor to the fact that you obeyed God,
• 1:46:21
he heard God. Are we together? I'm going to make
• 1:46:24
the outar call in one minute, and please let's minimize
• 1:46:28
any movement. There will always be an opportunity for someone
• 1:46:32
to make it right. I'm not just calling you to
• 1:46:34
be a Christian. I'm not just calling you to be
• 1:46:36
a fanatic. I'm not calling you tonight to be another
• 1:46:39
religious person. The blessing of Abraham is the key. Now
• 1:46:44
I've explained it, you can begin to come even before
• 1:46:46
I make the call. Hold on, let me just express
• 1:46:49
what I'm saying. God, bless yourself. You're coming. Please come,
• 1:46:52
you can make your way to the front. Come allelujah,
• 1:46:57
and all others would need to join him, Begin to
• 1:46:59
join him before I make that call. You are receiving
• 1:47:03
tonight the blessing of Abraham. You are following that pathway
• 1:47:07
that will show me the path of life. It is
• 1:47:10
in your light. God, bless you. Come. I see my
• 1:47:12
precious brothers and sisters coming. Are you celebrating them? Come?
• 1:47:18
Thank you. He gives you a new beginning. There's always
• 1:47:23
a new beginning with him. Come, come, Come, let's encourage him.
• 1:47:42
Let's let them know that this promise is unto you
• 1:47:45
and to your children and to your children's children. Everyone listen.
• 1:47:52
Let's let them know that they do not have to cry.
• 1:47:55
The cry of isso again. No, it's in abundance for everyone.
• 1:48:00
He's our cried because it was one pronouncement and it
• 1:48:04
went to Jacob. But today we can rejoice from end
• 1:48:08
to end, from north to southeast and west. Everyone can
• 1:48:12
be a partaker. This is powerful. Listen by the message
• 1:48:17
of God. I've traveled around the world taking this glorious gospel,
• 1:48:22
the wisdom the life of Jesus. Can I tell you
• 1:48:25
something I've learned past or people are not really rebels,
• 1:48:30
is that they do not understand the gospel. Every time
• 1:48:34
the Gospel is presented with intelligence, with clarity. I can
• 1:48:39
tell you this from everywhere, Jesus will always be received
• 1:48:44
if he's presented properly. The problem is the presentation. To
• 1:48:55
my brothers and my sisters, those of you who have come,
• 1:48:57
I salute you, thank you for the courage. I tell
• 1:49:01
you this. Jesus came to give us beyond a religion.
• 1:49:07
He didn't just come to make us Christians. The word
• 1:49:10
Christian was a testimony from unbelievers. They looked at those
• 1:49:13
who were possessors of the life of God, and they
• 1:49:16
had to look for a name to call them. Nothing
• 1:49:18
wrong in being called a Christian, you see. One of
• 1:49:23
the difference between the faith life and every other faith
• 1:49:27
practice I know is that it goes beyond the realm.
• 1:49:31
Of rituals and proposes to you a relationship, a relationship
• 1:49:36
that is personal personal. Like we said back home, when
• 1:49:41
you go to a habber list or some diviner, you
• 1:49:43
don't need a relationship. You don't need to know his name.
• 1:49:47
Just obey the rules. And if it's to tell you
• 1:49:49
something about your destiny, they turn the ball and do
• 1:49:52
whatever and tell you what they tell you, and you leave.
• 1:49:55
But when you come to Jesus, he does not give
• 1:49:59
you things, gives you himself. Himself is the gift. He
• 1:50:03
gives you his life. Then he gives you access to
• 1:50:07
His spirit, to my brothers and sisters who are here.
• 1:50:11
It doesn't matter what you have done or what you
• 1:50:14
have not done. I still sense that there are a
• 1:50:15
few people who perhaps are still contemplating joining them. Don't
• 1:50:19
be ashamed. I will always say this is like calling
• 1:50:22
you to receive an award, only that this is the
• 1:50:25
no bless you can never find in this side of
• 1:50:27
God's kingdom. Perhaps you are seated and you are still
• 1:50:31
dely darling. You are an apostle. I came out the
• 1:50:35
other time, But as it stands, I cannot say that
• 1:50:38
my life is working consistent with God's desire. You at
• 1:50:42
liberty to join them before I pray that prayer. This
• 1:50:44
is a family. Nothing to be ashamed of whatsoever my
• 1:50:49
Bible says. For God so loved you, He loved me.
• 1:50:53
God bless yourself. And he gave his son. You know
• 1:50:57
why he gave his son because there was a verdict
• 1:51:00
that all men had seen every one of us, that
• 1:51:03
we've fallen short of that standard. But that he gave
• 1:51:07
his son as a demonstration of love. And here's the point.
• 1:51:11
Whoever believes in him believes what believes number one, that
• 1:51:16
he loves you. Number two believes that he has your
• 1:51:20
interests at heart, and that he's demonstrated that by giving Jesus,
• 1:51:24
And that if you believe that report at that instant
• 1:51:28
like you, will be happening to you. Shortly. You may
• 1:51:30
not feel it, but this is an eternal fact that
• 1:51:34
whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have life everlasting.
• 1:51:40
I describe for you in one minute what will happen
• 1:51:42
to you as you make this declaration. Eternal life, the
• 1:51:45
very life of God, not the God kind of life,
• 1:51:48
the very life. It's so planted in your human spirit,
• 1:51:53
and the Holy Spirit now has access to dwell within you.
• 1:51:57
He begins to culture you, he begins to lead you.
• 1:52:01
He guides me through the path of righteousness. For his namesake.
• 1:52:05
One more time, I want to say thank you for
• 1:52:07
the courage. I don't know you, but I love every
• 1:52:10
single one of you. It always pays to start with
• 1:52:13
Jesus and for some to start afresh. Let me request
• 1:52:17
that you lift your right hand as a sign of
• 1:52:19
surrender to this Jesus. You imagine. Just take me out
• 1:52:24
of the sin and just imagine the lover of your soul,
• 1:52:27
the one who died for you when he hung upon
• 1:52:30
that cross. It was not the nails that held him.
• 1:52:33
He saw you. You were worth the death. Even if
• 1:52:35
you were the only person on earth he would still die.
• 1:52:38
What love You have trusted things of lesser value with
• 1:52:42
your life, your time. Give him a chance and let
• 1:52:45
him turn you to a sign and a wonder. Say
• 1:52:48
this after me, as loud and as clear as you can,
• 1:52:51
and let me speak to someone who is connected online
• 1:52:53
or by television. Here in Leicester. Jesus is winning, saving, leading,
• 1:52:59
drawing many to himself. I like you to join these
• 1:53:01
are precious ones and say this after me. Say Lord Jesus, tonight,
• 1:53:08
I have heard your word. I've heard that you love me.
• 1:53:13
I've heard that you died for me, and I believe
• 1:53:17
that report. I believe you are the son of God.
• 1:53:22
I believe you died for my sin. I believe you
• 1:53:28
rose again for my justification. Right now I receive Jesus
• 1:53:35
into my heart as my savior. My Lord. That's the
• 1:53:41
Holy Ghost we just thought about him. Remember I told
• 1:53:45
you the justification by faith gives room to the blessing.
• 1:53:52
He's just giving witness to it. Let it not distract you.
• 1:53:56
Say from tonight, I'm a child of God, washed by
• 1:54:01
the blood of the Lamb. I live for Jesus all
• 1:54:05
the days of my life. Amen. With your hands lifted,
• 1:54:09
I pray for you, Father, Thank you for these precious ones.
• 1:54:13
The Bible declares that as many who will come to you,
• 1:54:16
you will in no wise cast away. These ones have come,
• 1:54:19
declaring your lordship over their lives. Therefore, I declare this
• 1:54:23
instant that the power of sin, satan, hell, the grave, addictions,
• 1:54:29
every kind of thing whatsoever that does not represent the Christ.
• 1:54:34
Let it give way right now in the name of
• 1:54:37
Jesus Christ. I call you bona fide recipients of the
• 1:54:40
life of God, and I decree and declare that the
• 1:54:43
joy of salvation is yours. From hence you will live
• 1:54:46
for Jesus all the days of your life. In Jesus'
• 1:54:50
muchless name. We pray now praise the name of the Lord.
• 1:54:55
Here's a favor I want you to do for me.
• 1:54:57
There are counselors who have been trained to have a
• 1:55:01
word with you. Do pray with you, just for a
• 1:55:03
minute or two. Thereafter you'll be back to your seats.
• 1:55:06
Please do cooperate with them. Let me request that you
• 1:55:08
move to my right, and then you just follow them.
• 1:55:13
  Those on the
