- 0:11SPEAKER_00: Hey, what's going on, big ballers?
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: Welcome to this week's episode of The Fantasy Fumble.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: It's your boy MJG here coming live with Joe the Birdman.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: Joe, how you doing today, my brother?
- 0:21SPEAKER_01: I'm doing great, MJG.
- 0:23SPEAKER_01: How are you doing, sir?
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: I'm doing great, man.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: Another week.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: Some new injury news here today.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: Obviously, everyone's well aware of the fact that one of the top 10 fantasy running backs is out for the year.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: It always happens at least once a year.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: You're going to have one guy that gets taken out.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: Last year was Brees Hall.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: This year was our boy Nick Chubb.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: Obviously, he he's not going to be back for a long time.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: Like that's going to be way more than a year recovery on that.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: That leg just kind of snapped all the way sideways and had multiple tears.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: And I know it's not going to, it's going to be a long time before he comes back.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: He might not come back.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: That was I've never seen anything like that.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: He might not come back.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: You know what it reminded me of is uh Paul George when he actually snapped his knee, the basketball player, he snapped his knee.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: Uh, and it was exactly the same way.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: His knee snapped upward like that, you know, because it because when he got hit, it it kind of went that way, right?
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: This is the leg going down, knee went that way, you know.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: It's and Paul George snapped it like that.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: I never thought he'd come back, but he actually managed to come back and still he's still playing now.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: He has a pretty successful basketball career still.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: But um, obviously that's playing ball.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: You're not taking hits to your knees playing basketball every day.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, who knows what's gonna happen.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's uh that's still very surprising that he came back at all.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: But uh yeah, I mean it's like when you see those fighters that throw leg kicks, it happened to Connor McGregor, it happened to Anderson Silva, it happened to Chris Wideman, where their leg literally snapped like at the shin bone.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: And that's just shocking stuff to see.
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: And none of them came back.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: I mean, they fought again, but they weren't the same fighter, all three of them.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: So I don't know.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: Hope I hope he does come back, but if if he decides to retire, I wouldn't blame him one bit.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: And he, you know, he's he's in the best hands for uh physical therapy, of course.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: So you never know.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and what do you think about that running back situation now in that backfield?
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: They just signed Kareem Hunt, you know.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: Jerome Ford went off in that game.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: Uh, what do you what are your thoughts on that?
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: Um well this week I don't like Jerome Ford just because he's got a very difficult matchup.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: Tennessee Titans have shown to be very, very tough against the run.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: So I wouldn't play him this week, but uh long term I like Jerome Ford a lot more than Kareem Hunt, but I think Kareem Hunt's still worth picking up.
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: Um we're trading real low.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: You know, you wouldn't have to offer much to get him if if you're desperate for a running back, which a lot of people are right now.
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: Uh, but I I don't like either of them this week, obviously.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: And I don't uh I don't know about Kareem Hunt as far as like a flex play every week, but I think um I could be wrong.
- 3:22SPEAKER_01: It's just last year it last year he took a big step back from 2020.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: So I just or from 2021.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: So I just don't know about Kareem Hunt, but uh long term for the rest of the season, I do like Jerome Ford, just not this week.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I agree.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: Um, I think Kareem Hunt steps into the same exact role he did last year, you know.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: So I know he was waiting out for an opportunity to play somewhere else, and he probably thought he was gonna be a starter.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: And you know, Jerome Ford is definitely has a better upside.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: Kareem Hunt had one or two starts last year in the absence of Nick Chubb, and he didn't do anything with it.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: You know, he just he's not really the player.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: I played him in both day running backs in those games, so I remember that well.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and and running backs just don't have the lifespan they they used to, especially after wear and tear.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: So, I mean, there's people that you know I've seen all across the league, they're probably trying to sell high on Kareem Hunt right now or Jerome Ford, and you're right.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: I'm just that's just not a backfield I'm willing to touch.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: It's a committee now, and it's just not a committee I'm interested in myself.
- 4:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think I still think you know, if you can get Jerome Hunt as a flex, you should be fine.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: Um Jerome Hunt, yeah.
- 4:36SPEAKER_01: You can get Jerome Ford, if you can get Jerome Ford as a flex, I think that's a good play most weeks, but just because he's gonna get the volume.
- 4:45SPEAKER_01: Uh but yeah, Kareem Hunt, you know, I don't know how old he is, but I think he's getting close to 30.
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: And he's not the elite player he once was, but he could still have some good weeks here and there.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: I hear that.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: Any other stashes you like for the waiver wires this week?
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: Or is it uh obviously my my leagues are pretty bare, I'm sure.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: But um as far as like a nice stash play, who's someone that you you like as a pickup this week here?
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: I think given the uh running back situation for a lot of people, it's not a bad idea to stash Roshan Johnson.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: You know, he might be getting some more time.
- 5:25SPEAKER_01: Uh it's tough to say what's going on with that whole offense, but um he's he could be someone that slowly gets more time as the season goes on and proves to be a solid flex play towards the end of the season.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: So I would I would grab Roshan Johnson.
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: Um I I don't really think my biggest waiver pickup is someone I'll touch on right now, which is Kendra Miller for the New Orleans Saints.
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: But that's a one-week play because Kamara's coming back week four.
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: So as far as like anyone that you want to pick up, I don't really think there's anyone else off off the top of my head that I can think of right now.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: You know, something someone that I was thinking about.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: So um apparently Chase Emmons for the Buccaneers got injured this past week, and it's pretty serious injury.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: So he's gonna be out for a while.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: So, you know, just like Kareem Hunt went back to his old team, we could be seeing uh Leonard Fournette, you know, reunion over there in Tampa Bay, and uh it'll just be flip.
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: Last year, you know, if you had both those guys, it's you they were both flex, right?
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: Uh Fournette and Rashad White, they weren't averaging more than 12 points a game, 12 or 13.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: And sometimes one of them would have a big game, the other one would, but they were all pretty, pretty, uh, pretty low ceiling, you know, steady floors as far as really steady floor, you know.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: And like you said, if you're desperate for running back, he's he's worth stash and he might be over there next week or two.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: I saw something about his car burning down recently, like his car burning up catching fire.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: So he might be needing a little bit of money, yeah.
- 6:59SPEAKER_01: I'm sure.
- 7:00SPEAKER_01: Especially after that.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: It was a pretty nice vehicle.
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, well, I mean, he hasn't made that much money, he's only been in the league like six to seven years, you know.
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: So I, you know, that was before NIL.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: So otherwise he would have been banking already.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: He wouldn't need to play anymore.
- 7:14SPEAKER_01: What do you think about uh Cam Akers to Minnesota?
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, that's a big one.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: Um, so Cam Akers, Minnesota.
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: I I was telling my buddy this.
- 7:23SPEAKER_00: He was trying to sell high on Cam Akers.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: I don't, I mean, the guy is just cooked.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: Like, I mean, you could tell uh his play, like he's just a very, I don't know what it is, he's very hot and cold.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: And I don't think he's gonna be very happy Minnesota.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: Because he's gonna be uh the backup, like Madison's the better back of the two, and they're both unimpressive to me.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: You know, I was not high on Madison.
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: You're gonna go in there and you're gonna get, you know, basically like a like low, low ceiling, low floor.
- 7:52SPEAKER_00: You know, it's just yeah, you know, and Minnesota's gonna go past heavy, so I don't I don't like them either.
- 7:58SPEAKER_01: Well, I thought Madison was gonna be a little better than he was.
- 8:02SPEAKER_01: I didn't think he was gonna be, you know, some breakout running back this year, but I thought he was gonna be playing better than he is.
- 8:09SPEAKER_01: Uh, but I remember you weren't really high on him, and and I kind of feel the same way.
- 8:12SPEAKER_01: You're just looking at now two average running backs on an offense that loves to throw the ball.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: So and you know what's funny is that if you look at all the offseason, all these big, you know, fancy pages, right?
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: They were all like all the ones we like, you know, the ones that are out there, and uh they were all had Madison and Cam Akers ranked the same, and they were like, Oh, these guys are gonna be breakout players for this year.
- 8:36SPEAKER_00: And I was like, I'm not for them.
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: I was like, if you grab these guys, you gotta handcuff them because to me they're a high liability because they probably won't produce.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: And sure enough, it's so funny that now you have them both on the same team.
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: Because in my opinion, Minnesota would have probably been better off signing Fournette, because Fournette, in my opinion, is more explosive than both those guys, even out of shape.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: He's a better player than both those guys.
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: He could catch the ball, he can run in between the tackles, and if you give him good enough blocking, which Tampa Bay didn't have last year, um, he could definitely get you that goal line touchdown that you need.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: So I think they screwed up.
- 9:10SPEAKER_01: No doubt.
- 9:11SPEAKER_01: He's a freight train when he gets rolling.
- 9:16SPEAKER_01: Welcome back, ballers.
- 9:18SPEAKER_01: We're gonna discuss our hot matchups of the week.
- 9:22SPEAKER_01: And I'm gonna go first this time, Manny.
- 9:23SPEAKER_01: If that's all right with you, I'd like to talk about the Chargers versus the Vikings.
- 9:30SPEAKER_01: You've got two very high-powered offenses and two really bad defenses, which means a lot of points.
- 9:38SPEAKER_01: So uh I'm I'm most excited for this game.
- 9:42SPEAKER_01: Um the Chargers have the worst pass defense in the NFL, and the Vikings have the best wide receiver in the NFL.
- 9:49SPEAKER_01: And uh Jordan Addison has looked great too.
- 9:52SPEAKER_01: And um Hawkinson has been a monster.
- 9:56SPEAKER_01: So I think with those three weapons against the worst pass defense in the league, you're gonna have them running uh from the jump.
- 10:03SPEAKER_01: And then I read a statistic that said the Chargers allowed over 450 pass yards in 2022.
- 10:11SPEAKER_01: No other team even allowed over 400.
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: And uh the Vikings defense has been horrible for the last few years, too.
- 10:19SPEAKER_01: Um, they're almost dead last in every category.
- 10:21SPEAKER_01: They're they're in like the high 20s or early 30s for every category.
- 10:25SPEAKER_01: So, you know, with a great offense in the Chargers and a great offense in uh the Vikings, and two really, really bad defenses, I think you're just gonna see you know, you could see 60 points on the board easy.
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I do agree.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: I think that um it's gonna be high scoring for sure.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: Um, and that's a good one, definitely for a hot matchup.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: I, you know, you do have a lot of weapons on both sides, you know.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: Uh, for the Chargers, obviously, Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, you know, and whatever wide receiver wants to catch the ball after that, you know, it's pretty much gonna be going crazy.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and even Josh Kelly may even bounce back.
- 11:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's what I was just gonna say.
- 11:04SPEAKER_01: Even if Eckler doesn't play, um Josh Kelly should definitely bounce back from a really hard matchup last week.
- 11:12SPEAKER_01: You know, he looked great when Eckler was in there.
- 11:15SPEAKER_01: So, you know, if he if Eckler plays, if Eckler doesn't play, I expect a lot more out of Josh Kelly this week.
- 11:22SPEAKER_01: Um, we'll see.
- 11:23SPEAKER_01: Maybe even Madison will have a nice game.
- 11:25SPEAKER_01: I hope he does, you know, just on a personal level.
- 11:28SPEAKER_01: I hope he does because uh, you know, he's he's had a rough couple games, and um, you know, it's it'd be great to for fantasy purposes too, just see a really high-powered offense, really high scoring game.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: Not me.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: I want to see those Madison owners squirm because I told you guys not to draft them.
- 11:49SPEAKER_00: So yeah, you're gonna learn a lesson there, bud.
- 11:52SPEAKER_00: Uh, but yeah, it's it's a good one.
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: Uh now for my hot matchup, uh, obviously I got the Broncos versus the Dolphins.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: Uh again, good offense versus good offense.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: I mean, I know Russell Wilson wasn't the most efficient last year.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: They fired that coordinator.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: They got Sean Payton in there.
- 12:08SPEAKER_00: He's looked better than he's a second leading uh he has the second most touchdowns, uh passing touchdowns in the in the league right now.
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: He has four passing touchdowns.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: I mean, the offense has looked uh like it should have, right?
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: Like they're passing it to Marvin Minns had a touchdown.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: They got Brandon Johnson at their streamer.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Marvin Mims looked good though.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: He did.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: I I had him on my radar preseason, but obviously I you could only stash so many rookies on your bench.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: Um, but um also Cortland Sutton looked good, you know.
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: Jerry Judy came back.
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: So that's obviously on the Broncos side.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: Javante Williams is okay, but I think it's gonna be too many points for them to just you know just wait for that to happen.
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: Because if you want to keep up with the Dolphins, you're not gonna be running the ball.
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: And Dolphins with Tyree Kill, Jalen Waddle, even Raheem Mostert got into you know touchdowns last year or last week.
- 12:59SPEAKER_00: He had two touchdowns.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: It's definitely gonna be high-powered offense and defenses that are just pretty much just not really where they're supposed to be because Broncos should be elite.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: Uh Dolphins don't have Jalen, uh Jalen Ramsey, but I feel like, man, like why are they this bad with Xavier and Howard and you know all those other guys back there, right?
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: So I just think that's gonna be an excellent matchup, and you want to start as many players as you can and as many starters from those matchups.
- 13:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I agree with you on that game as well.
- 13:29SPEAKER_01: And uh, you know, it's weird.
- 13:32SPEAKER_01: The the Dolphins had a pretty solid defense last year, but um they were also streaky, you know.
- 13:40SPEAKER_01: I guess they were more matchup based.
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: So I don't know.
- 13:44SPEAKER_01: Maybe it was maybe maybe I'm remembering incorrectly, but I thought their defense was pretty solid last year.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they're all right.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: They have good pieces, but you're right, they were streaky matchup based.
- 13:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:57SPEAKER_00: What's your next uh hot matchup?
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: So my second hot matchup is something that most people will probably disagree because we're talking about two really good defenses, uh the Eagles versus the Bucks.
- 14:12SPEAKER_01: Um two rock solid defensive units, yes, but lots of offensive weapons for both teams too.
- 14:19SPEAKER_01: Got Jalen Hurts, DeAndre Swift.
- 14:22SPEAKER_01: If you know he shows up like he did last week, I know the Buccaneers are you know strong against the run, but he looked incredible last week, and of course nobody started him because why would you?
- 14:33SPEAKER_01: Uh, but then you got uh Devontae Smith and um AJ Brown.
- 14:39SPEAKER_01: So you know, a lot of weapons from the Eagles and Baker Mayfield and Tampa Bay, they've looked awesome.
- 14:46SPEAKER_01: I mean, Mike Evans is looking incredible.
- 14:51SPEAKER_01: Um, Rashad White is looking solid.
- 14:54SPEAKER_01: Godwin never count him out.
- 14:56SPEAKER_01: So given those weapons and two quarter back quarterbacks that are playing well, um you know, Jalen Hurts obviously can run the ball too.
- 15:06SPEAKER_01: I just think even though both defenses are really good, their offenses are really good too.
- 15:12SPEAKER_01: And obviously the Eagles are a better team, but like you know, the Buccaneers can put up points.
- 15:18SPEAKER_01: And um, I expect both teams to put up points.
- 15:21SPEAKER_01: You know, they've you know when you've got a good matchup at defense and a good matchup at offense, I mean, a lot of the time it just turns into a back and forth, back and forth where no one's really stalling, they're trying to score, and that's what I expect to happen.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I agree.
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: Um, and the Eagles might actually be um down somewhat in the secondary because we had Reed Blankenschnip out last week, uh James Bradbury, so our starting quarterback, started safety, um, both injured, and then our slot cornerback, Avante Maddox, is out for the year with the torn pectoral muscle.
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: So there's gonna be some adjustments.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: Hopefully, we play Eli Ricks, but uh, I mean, I don't think it's enough to stop Mike Evans.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: He's been on a tear, he's on a contract year, right?
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: Like he wants to get paid.
- 16:06SPEAKER_00: You can see he wants people to see he still has it.
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that dude is on the page.
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: They're gonna be feeding him.
- 16:12SPEAKER_00: I do think obviously the pass rush is gonna get there for the Eagles and they're gonna force some things, right?
- 16:17SPEAKER_00: But you know, Bucks play calling can be good, right?
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: They they they haven't come out with any rusts.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: Again, they did play against the Vikings defense, which is horrible, and then the Bears defense even worse.
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: Um I know some Bucks fans already have Super Bowl hopes, and I'm wearing that uh red to taunt them, Super Bowl for the Bucks, right?
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: But it will be a high-scoring game, I think.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: Um, but ultimately, you know, it's gonna come down who can stop the, you know, who can stop who.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: And I think at the end of the day, it's more likely that the Eagles defense is gonna stop Baker Mayfield than Bucks' defense can stop Jalen Hurts, because in all reality, the only person that can stop Jalen Hurts is Jalen Hurts himself, barring any injuries to the O-line.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: So, and that's because we have the best O-line in the league.
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: So that's why I think it will be a back and forth, but ultimately in the fourth quarter, uh, Eagles should come out on top.
- 17:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and and and Baker Mayfield has looked really good, but it will be a tough test for him.
- 17:14SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be much different than his first two games.
- 17:16SPEAKER_01: So I'm I'm anxious to see how he plays against uh a team like the Eagles.
- 17:21SPEAKER_01: Because if he does well, even if even if they don't win, if he looks good, that's gonna you know set things in motion for the rest of the season.
- 17:28SPEAKER_01: You're gonna know that he's someone you can trust uh with your receivers.
- 17:32SPEAKER_01: So, you know, if you got Mike Evans, you'll feel better.
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: If uh Baker does really well, you'll feel better about starting Godwin, you'll feel better about starting Evans for the rest of the season.
- 17:41SPEAKER_01: So it'll be a true test for him, no doubt.
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 17:46SPEAKER_01: And what about uh let me tell tell me about your second hot matchup?
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, for my second matchup, I have the Falcons versus the Lions.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: I know that's a surprising one there.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: Um, but obviously the Falcons have come out pretty hot.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: They're 2-0 right now.
- 18:03SPEAKER_00: You know, they're they're keeping it on the ground.
- 18:06SPEAKER_00: Um, Lions were supposed to be better defensively, but they just lost CJ Gardner Johnson for the season.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: Torn pectoral torn pectoral muscle.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: It seems like everybody's tearing their pecks nowadays.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: Um so they're down in the secondary.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, I bet.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: But um, and and they haven't been able to stop anybody.
- 18:23SPEAKER_00: So I think Falcons, you know, they're not really a vertical attack team, but they're gonna run the ball down your throat.
- 18:29SPEAKER_00: And uh, so they're gonna be putting up some points there.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: And then of course uh the Lions have to get Jameer Gibbs going because no David Montgomery, so Jameer Gibbs has to go.
- 18:38SPEAKER_00: Amon Ra, of course, is gonna go, and you know, your boy Sam Laporte is gonna be going as well.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: He's actually a what uh tight end two right now in the in the for statistics.
- 18:48SPEAKER_00: I looked at his stats, he's like the he's only averaging 11 points per game, but he's been one of the most consistent right tight ends per game.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: So the lot so I think at the end of the day, it's gonna be a good game.
- 18:59SPEAKER_00: It's not gonna be a lot of defense, not not a high, high-scoring game, but I think if you have some of those star players from those teams, you're gonna get a really good output from each of them.
- 19:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and you know, like you said, the the Lions defense has not been good, and their offense has been good.
- 19:16SPEAKER_01: So, you know, with the Falcons, I'm not sure what to say about the Falcons other than their run game looks really good.
- 19:23SPEAKER_01: You know, they've their pass game.
- 19:27SPEAKER_01: Um Drake London looked good last week.
- 19:31SPEAKER_01: Kyle Pitts is disappointing as always.
- 19:34SPEAKER_01: Um other than other than those two, um and and and again, they're not really doing anything, but um the you can ignore their whole offense aside from their run game, but their run game, you know, Bijan Robinson, Tyler Algier, and uh you know, they're both splitting carries, but the difference was Algier didn't get in the end zone on week two, and he got in the end zone twice on week one.
- 20:03SPEAKER_01: So, you know, they're still splitting carries the same, but they're just that's their whole offense.
- 20:08SPEAKER_01: So I'd I'd be confident starting Algier this week just because I I do think it's gonna be a high scoring game.
- 20:15SPEAKER_01: Um Falcons D might be uh a little bit better than the Lions D, but um the Lions are still gonna pass all over them, I guarantee it.
- 20:26SPEAKER_01: What do you think about um Reynolds?
- 20:29SPEAKER_01: Is it uh Josh Reynolds?
- 20:32SPEAKER_01: Not Josh, Josh Josh too, but Craig is it?
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: Craig Reynolds, the running back.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, the running back.
- 20:38SPEAKER_01: What do you think about him filling in as like the David Montgomery role?
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: Well, I don't think Craig Reynolds is a Dave Montgomery type of running back.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: He's uh he's more of a smaller guy, maybe in between the tackles.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: He'll get up in there, do the dirty work, but he's more he reminds me more of a Boston Scott, right?
- 20:57SPEAKER_00: Like he's an undersized guy, but he's powerful in between the tackles and he's gonna catch you off guard.
- 21:02SPEAKER_00: Um, but I they actually ended up signing from their practice squad, Mr.'s uh practice squad Zonovan Knight from the New York Jets.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: You remember last year when uh Brees Hall towards ACL, Zonovan Knight was actually a stud.
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: And he was running hard.
- 21:18SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: But he ended up uh not getting re-signed by the Jets.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: They ended up dropping him off the practice squad after preseason.
- 21:24SPEAKER_00: God knows, I guess, because they had three running backs, you know, Michael Carter on there.
- 21:28SPEAKER_00: So Lions sent him to a practice squad, and now he just got upgraded to a um to the active roster.
- 21:34SPEAKER_00: I honestly think that the Lions are probably gonna run him in between the tackles.
- 21:38SPEAKER_00: He's a big guy, he's powerful, he probably knows the offense a little bit, not much, but I mean, how hard is it to uh you know block and run the gaps, right?
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: Like running backs' lives are pretty easy for play calling.
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: They're no they don't really have to know too much outside of what gap you're hitting and who to block, you know, where.
- 21:56SPEAKER_00: So that's pretty much it.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: So I think he's uh more of a better stash.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Um and when I mentioned Craig Reynolds, uh, because I couldn't remember his first name, you brought up a good point though.
- 22:05SPEAKER_01: Josh Reynolds, too.
- 22:06SPEAKER_01: That's another weapon.
- 22:07SPEAKER_01: He's he's been great the first two games.
- 22:09SPEAKER_01: So Amon Ra is dealing with some kind of issue.
- 22:12SPEAKER_01: They they think it's turf toe.
- 22:14SPEAKER_01: So even if you know, if if Amon Ra's playing, obviously you play him, but that could give Josh Reynolds a few more targets.
- 22:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:22SPEAKER_01: So he's he's been solid and uh just another weapon to to go with that hot matchup of yours.
- 22:28SPEAKER_01: It will be a high scoring game, I think.
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah, oh yeah.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: And Amon Ra did leave the fourth quarter with that turf toe, too.
- 22:35SPEAKER_00: So it did it did cause him to leave.
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: So hopefully I have him in one league.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: Hopefully, it doesn't affect him too much.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: But yeah, that's something to watch out for, definitely.
- 22:47SPEAKER_00: All right, big ballers.
- 22:49SPEAKER_00: Welcome back.
- 22:50SPEAKER_00: It's time for the cold call of the week over here.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: We're talking about our uh cold matchups.
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's a little breezy in here, Joe.
- 22:57SPEAKER_00: You gotta uh turn off the heat.
- 22:59SPEAKER_00: I'm in Florida, it's always hot over here.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: But um the cold matchup of the week, we're gonna talk about our matchups that we're not too fond of.
- 23:07SPEAKER_00: And uh this week, I am you know I'm basically uh setting this game up as the the dumpster juice trip trials and tribulations for these teams.
- 23:17SPEAKER_01: Sometimes Patriots versus I'm sorry to interrupt, but sometimes I wonder if we should change it because you always refer to it as something like that instead of cold.
- 23:27SPEAKER_01: But anyway, keep going.
- 23:29SPEAKER_01: Change the name to just dumpster fire, but you keep going.
- 23:32SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 23:33SPEAKER_00: Who's a fucking dumpster fire of the week?
- 23:36SPEAKER_00: Uh, but yeah, it's gonna be the the Patriots versus the Jets, man.
- 23:40SPEAKER_00: It's a divisional battle.
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: These teams always they hate each other, it's nasty.
- 23:45SPEAKER_00: They they go at it, and two teams that have no identity right now.
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: That's you know, Patriots may be more than the Jets, but the Jets are an absolute dumpster fire.
- 23:55SPEAKER_00: Like what the hell are they gonna do, right?
- 23:58SPEAKER_00: Like, if you have anybody on the Jets, I feel bad for you.
- 24:00SPEAKER_00: And you know, ever since Arian Rodgers went down, that team is just you know uh an abomination to the league.
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: They're gonna probably battle for that first overall pick and grab Caleb Williams from USC.
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: You know, that's how bad of a situation is.
- 24:14SPEAKER_00: But also the Pats, I mean, you can see some some scores with Ramondre.
- 24:19SPEAKER_00: I'd say I see him getting a score here, and then maybe uh Hunter Henry might get some looks there.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: He always gets his uh garbage time touchdown, but ultimately there's gonna be maybe one or two players on the Patriots side, on the Jets.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: Who knows who's gonna be good?
- 24:34SPEAKER_00: That's just I mean, Brees Hall, I would start.
- 24:36SPEAKER_00: That that's about it on the Jets side.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: Other than that, I'm staying the hell away from that game.
- 24:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I agree with you on that.
- 24:43SPEAKER_01: I think I actually think Hunter Henry might benefit a little bit because you know, New England's probably gonna have a hard time running the ball, so they might try to throw a little bit more.
- 24:55SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, I see it as a very low-scoring game.
- 24:58SPEAKER_01: I've been trying to trade Garrett Wilson in one league all day, and no one will take him.
- 25:04SPEAKER_01: No one wants him.
- 25:05SPEAKER_01: You know, last game he only had two receptions.
- 25:07SPEAKER_01: It was just that one was huge and led to a touchdown.
- 25:11SPEAKER_01: Otherwise, he would have had like three points.
- 25:13SPEAKER_01: And um, yeah, I mean, I I don't even know about Brees Hall because I was high on him, but you know, I don't know if he's still injured or if they're just trying to run more of a committee, but um you know, he had one point last week, and I I don't, I mean, obviously it's gonna be better this week, but um I just don't know about him uh this week.
- 25:36SPEAKER_01: It's it's just a tough matchup for for both of them offensively, and uh I agree that's gonna be a real low-scoring game.
- 25:46SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: What about you, Joe?
- 25:48SPEAKER_00: What's your cold matchup of the week?
- 25:49SPEAKER_00: Cold call.
- 25:51SPEAKER_01: Uh I have the Titans versus the Browns.
- 25:56SPEAKER_01: Uh the Titans have shut down the run two weeks in a row, and the Browns lost Nick Chubb.
- 26:04SPEAKER_01: So the run game will be really hard for Cleveland.
- 26:07SPEAKER_01: And the Browns have shut down the pass two weeks in a row.
- 26:12SPEAKER_01: Uh and the light the the Titans don't pass a lot anyway.
- 26:15SPEAKER_01: They're they're gonna do what they always do, which is you know, just hand off the ball to Derrick Henry 25, 30 times, and I'm totally cool with that.
- 26:23SPEAKER_01: But uh that that's not something that leads to a high scoring game in general.
- 26:28SPEAKER_01: So I think, you know, obviously you're starting Derek Henry, no doubt.
- 26:32SPEAKER_01: Um I I don't like as I mentioned earlier in in uh waiver pickups, I don't like Jerome Ford this week.
- 26:41SPEAKER_01: I think he's gonna be good rest of the season, but not tomorrow.
- 26:45SPEAKER_01: You know, if Josh Kelly couldn't do anything against him, and you you know, again, two weeks in a row, the Titans have looked rock solid against the run, and the Browns um offensively are just struggling.
- 26:58SPEAKER_01: So I just see back and forth, a really sloppy, ugly game.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: Um, not even like good defense, but just a sloppy game which might have a lot of turnovers and probably won't have a lot of touchdowns.
- 27:13SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, I agree with you.
- 27:15SPEAKER_00: When you told me that about the Titans last week, uh shutting down the run game, I was like, oh yeah, that's that's good set.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: But uh, you know, they really are showing that that's their new identity, right?
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: They're actually gonna be solid against the the run.
- 27:26SPEAKER_00: Um Browns too, man.
- 27:27SPEAKER_00: They got Jim Schwartz, the D coordinator.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: And I think if anybody can slow down Derrick Henry, it's that front seven because they have uh they have uh what's uh Miles Garrett on the D tackle.
- 27:40SPEAKER_00: I mean, so they have some big boys up there.
- 27:41SPEAKER_00: Miles Garrett and the D right there in the middle.
- 27:44SPEAKER_00: Um, and then Zadarius Smith, um, the the DN, he's a big, he's a monster too.
- 27:49SPEAKER_00: So if anybody's gonna get into the backfield, they're gonna definitely try to get in front of Derrick Henry.
- 27:54SPEAKER_00: And I could even, you know, you could even see it be one of Derrick Henry's lowest scoring games of the season tomorrow, you know, because they do roll slow.
- 28:02SPEAKER_00: But yeah, definitely, and then also not to mention Deshaun Watson just look horrible at his composure.
- 28:08SPEAKER_00: You could tell like he is just yeah, there's something wrong with him.
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: He's rattled.
- 28:11SPEAKER_00: You know, somebody I seen an article this week where some um or I heard a uh a take this week from uh some some uh sportscaster, they were talking about like uh uh Deshaun Watson is not used to being the heel of the league because so many players dislike him and people dislike him that he's starting to uh really get bothered by it.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: Because remember those two face masks in a row?
- 28:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like they weren't accidental face masks, they were so blatantly obvious, it's crazy that he shoved uh he got so upset.
- 28:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he shoved the rough too.
- 28:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so it's like you know, like he he grabbed the dude by the face mask that they was trying to tackle him.
- 28:48SPEAKER_00: Like it wasn't like the dude hit him late, he hit him before he even got out of bounds, right?
- 28:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and he grabbed him and he threw them by his face mask, and then he was pissed off at the dude, like blah blah blah.
- 28:57SPEAKER_00: So it's just it's just everything is getting under his skin and he's imploding from the inside out.
- 29:04SPEAKER_01: And if teams know that, like, think about how much shit talking is going on that we don't hear.
- 29:09SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 29:09SPEAKER_01: You know, it's hilarious when they have mic'd up episodes and you hear some of it, but that's all day every game.
- 29:15SPEAKER_01: So if there's players that know that, they are going to be jawing all day at him, all day, all game.
- 29:22SPEAKER_01: And I mean, I don't know.
- 29:26SPEAKER_01: I I was thinking Deshaun Watson was actually gonna be a really good quarterback this year.
- 29:30SPEAKER_01: I thought he just needed some time to get it together, but after that showing on Sunday, it completely changed my mind.
- 29:37SPEAKER_01: He looks like completely out of place, he looks like a child out there.
- 29:42SPEAKER_00: Bro, remember I had him at my players had disliked.
- 29:45SPEAKER_00: I said, after you, if you miss on you know, Trevor Lawrence, that's here, is the next available quarterbacks are Deshaun Watson, Dak Prescott.
- 29:53SPEAKER_00: I was like, I'm staying the hell away from those guys, right?
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: But uh I I definitely I I think it's only gonna get worse.
- 29:59SPEAKER_00: And as a matter of fact, my matchup I won this past week, I had uh uh uh Pickens going for Pittsburgh, and I was down, I think, like 20 points.
- 30:08SPEAKER_00: He had Deshaun, my opponent had Deshaun Watson, and Pickens ended up getting like 24-25.
- 30:13SPEAKER_00: I ended up winning by two points because Deshaun Watson was sacked like four or five times, and he had like a pick or two.
- 30:19SPEAKER_00: So I literally won because of that performance, and you know it's only gonna get worse from there.
- 30:24SPEAKER_00: So if you have Deshaun, you might as well look at the waiver why you're better off with Baker Mayfield at this point.
- 30:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think that guy is just I think you definitely are.
- 30:31SPEAKER_01: I mean, well, I I shouldn't say that yet, but I think there's a strong indication of that, yeah.
- 30:37SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 30:38SPEAKER_00: And what's your cold matchup for the week, Joe?
- 30:41SPEAKER_00: Um, we already did mine, but welcome back, big ballers.
- 30:56SPEAKER_00: This time for your shitty call of the week.
- 30:58SPEAKER_00: This is where we hold ourselves and each other accountable for the bad takes we had last week.
- 31:03SPEAKER_00: We see too many fancy footballers out there, people in general that just you know don't stand by the word or they forget about things they said or horrible takes that they made.
- 31:12SPEAKER_00: And we want to make sure that we keep ourselves on record saying that we screwed that up.
- 31:17SPEAKER_00: And so uh I want you to lead us here today, Joe.
- 31:19SPEAKER_00: What was your uh shit call the week last week?
- 31:23SPEAKER_01: Well, I think we kind of brushed on this earlier, but I said to play Josh Kelly over Kyron Williams.
- 31:33SPEAKER_01: Now that did surprise a lot of people, but wow, I couldn't have been more wrong.
- 31:38SPEAKER_01: I was underestimating the Titans defense, and I was underestimating Kyron Williams, but but you know, no one really knew what was going on with that Rams backfield, but holy shit, Kyron looked amazing, and Josh Kelly couldn't get anything done.
- 31:57SPEAKER_01: I mean, you're talking about about close to a 20-point gap, the difference between those two.
- 32:03SPEAKER_01: So I said play Josh Kelly, I was very, very high on him, especially without Eckler there.
- 32:11SPEAKER_01: I thought, man, he's gonna get every touch, he's gonna be, you know, going off for a hundred plus yards, and that wasn't the case at all.
- 32:18SPEAKER_01: And Kyron Williams, even though the yardage wasn't that much difference, um uh Kyron Williams got in the end zone twice.
- 32:26SPEAKER_01: So, you know, two touchdowns versus zero touchdowns.
- 32:29SPEAKER_01: You know, they both I think um I think Josh Kelly got like 40 something yards and Kyron had close to 60, but again, he was uh very involved in the pass game.
- 32:40SPEAKER_01: He had 10 targets and I think six catches, and he got in the end zone twice.
- 32:44SPEAKER_01: So I I also didn't know he was gonna be that involved with the pass game, but um Stafford looks good.
- 32:50SPEAKER_01: So you know that offense is um even though Stafford's numbers aren't great, um he's leading the offense.
- 33:00SPEAKER_01: Uh he looks like the old Matt Stafford.
- 33:03SPEAKER_01: And um, you know, maybe the Rams are gonna make a comeback and you know go back to that Super Bowl team they were a couple years ago.
- 33:13SPEAKER_01: But yeah, that was my shit call.
- 33:14SPEAKER_01: I fucking shit to bet on that one.
- 33:19SPEAKER_00: All right, and uh yeah, I I I hear you.
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: And you know what?
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: It's a tough call, you know.
- 33:23SPEAKER_00: Like who would have known?
- 33:24SPEAKER_00: Like if you watch preseason, Kyron didn't get that many touches, and Josh Kelly did, and he looked amazing.
- 33:30SPEAKER_00: And they just kind of Rams kind of flipped the script.
- 33:33SPEAKER_00: And look at that.
- 33:33SPEAKER_00: Now they have a top two running back right now, statistically speaking, of course, and then top two wide receiver in Puka Nakua.
- 33:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so I mean they're definitely balling right now, so but I think that's definitely gonna uh not sustainable.
- 33:45SPEAKER_00: So if you have them now, guys, sell high on those guys, get maximum output because there's no way they're gonna keep that going for the rest of the year.
- 33:52SPEAKER_00: They're only playing shit teams right now, so that's why they look so good.
- 33:57SPEAKER_01: So who was your uh what was your shit call of the week last week, Manny?
- 34:02SPEAKER_00: So my shit call was saying that um obviously with with Aaron Jones being out, um, saying AJ Dillon is a must-start.
- 34:10SPEAKER_00: Um, I mean, before in the past, not necessarily last year, but the year before that, when Aaron Jones is out, you know, you had some pretty big games from AJ Dillon.
- 34:20SPEAKER_00: And he ended up, you know, shitting the bed.
- 34:22SPEAKER_00: He had it 15 carries, uh, only 55 yards, and he got 8.8 fancy points that game.
- 34:28SPEAKER_00: So he was not doing anything.
- 34:30SPEAKER_00: Obviously, I underestimated uh the Atlanta Falcons run defense.
- 34:34SPEAKER_00: They actually had a strong show in week one as well, but I figured that was a fluke.
- 34:38SPEAKER_00: Um, it turns out that they actually did revamp that defense a little bit more than I anticipated, and it looks better um than it did on paper.
- 34:46SPEAKER_00: So they're uh they were a tough matchup, and unfortunately the Packers just went through the air for the rest of the game.
- 34:51SPEAKER_00: Not sure why, because it was a close game.
- 34:53SPEAKER_00: It could have been the fact that AJ Dillon was inefficient because obviously at 55 yards, uh 15 carries, you know, that's that's what less than that's about three and a something yards per carry, almost four.
- 35:04SPEAKER_00: So it wasn't efficient at all.
- 35:06SPEAKER_00: But um, you know, as a as a fantasy owner for Aaron Jones, I hope that he comes back soon because spot star in AJ Dillon uh has not been it.
- 35:15SPEAKER_00: Uh also same thing can be said about Jamal Williams because uh I was big on him as well.
- 35:20SPEAKER_00: And Jamal Williams just I mean, he got injured.
- 35:23SPEAKER_01: You can't you can't look that up before he went down either.
- 35:26SPEAKER_01: So he didn't.
- 35:27SPEAKER_01: No, yeah, I would say you know you know how high I was on Jamal Williams and uh dropped him in every league.
- 35:34SPEAKER_01: So, you know, he's he's not I'm I'm I'm contemplating yeah, he's not gonna be someone that uh gets a lot of time when he's coming back from a hamstring injury and Kamara's in the lineup.
- 35:44SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I agree.
- 36:02SPEAKER_01: Now it's time for big balls call of the week.
- 36:06SPEAKER_01: Manny, what's your big balls call of the week?
- 36:11SPEAKER_00: All right, so my big balls call of the week is gonna be uh Mr.
- 36:16SPEAKER_00: AJ Brown.
- 36:17SPEAKER_00: He had six point last week he had six point eight uh fantasy points.
- 36:21SPEAKER_00: Um he would have had a touchdown, obviously, but it was a PI and it didn't get called.
- 36:26SPEAKER_00: We all saw that, you know.
- 36:27SPEAKER_00: That was bad.
- 36:28SPEAKER_00: Um so this week going up against Tampa Bay, people are talking about Carlton Davis and you know, all those guys are gonna shut him down.
- 36:35SPEAKER_00: Um, so I think this is gonna be the AJ Brown coming out game because I think that Tampa Bay's front seven is real good.
- 36:41SPEAKER_00: They're gonna slow down a run.
- 36:43SPEAKER_00: So the way to beat him is gonna be through the air.
- 36:45SPEAKER_00: So you're gonna be looking at uh, you know, uh uh a 10 reception, 150 yards, and two touchdown game for AJ Brown.
- 36:52SPEAKER_00: So it's gonna be his 30 to 40 banger that you see from him throughout the season because he is one of those uh playmakers where you just you know got to give him the ball.
- 37:01SPEAKER_00: And uh a lot of people are trying to buy low on him right now.
- 37:03SPEAKER_00: And unfortunately, if they haven't got got that trade in yet, that window is gonna be closing after this weekend because he's gonna go right back to where he stood out.
- 37:11SPEAKER_00: Uh and obviously Devontae Smith hasn't left yet, he's always been there.
- 37:16SPEAKER_00: So I think that's gonna be the AJ Brown coming out game this weekend.
- 37:20SPEAKER_00: What about you, Joe?
- 37:21SPEAKER_00: What's your uh big balls call?
- 37:23SPEAKER_01: Well, I was just gonna say I do agree with you on that because um, you know, I was trying to get AJ Brown a lot of leagues.
- 37:30SPEAKER_01: I think I think everyone is aware that he is still, without a doubt, a top 10 wide receiver or possibly a top five.
- 37:39SPEAKER_01: You know, Devonta, not taking anything away from Devonta Smith, he's awesome too, but we saw similar things, we saw similar patterns last year.
- 37:48SPEAKER_01: You know, there's gonna be games where Devonta gets more, there's gonna be games where AJ Brown gets more, but as a whole, AJ Brown's still the top wide receiver on the Eagles.
- 37:57SPEAKER_01: So I think everyone is aware of that.
- 38:00SPEAKER_01: But my big balls call of the week, I discussed earlier um a waiver pickup that you might want to consider just short term, very short term, is um I spacing on his name, Kendra Miller.
- 38:18SPEAKER_01: But my big ball's call of the week is if Kendra Miller isn't involved in that New Orleans run game, it's going to be Taysom Hill.
- 38:28SPEAKER_01: Now we've seen this in the past where Taysom Hill will be playing because Kamara is out and he just lights it up.
- 38:37SPEAKER_01: So my big ball's call is that Taysom Hill will have over 15 fantasy points.
- 38:43SPEAKER_01: Last week, when Jamal Williams went down, they leaned on Taysom Hill.
- 38:48SPEAKER_01: He had nine carries for 75 yards, and he almost made it in the end zone, too.
- 38:52SPEAKER_01: If he made it in the end zone, he would have had about 15 points.
- 38:56SPEAKER_01: So that's why I'm wondering what they're gonna do with Kendra Miller.
- 39:00SPEAKER_01: If they don't utilize him, and it this is his debut as a rookie, if they don't utilize him the same way they were uh using Jamal Williams, or they are gonna use Kamara, then they're probably gonna use Taysom Hill.
- 39:12SPEAKER_01: And I have a feeling that's what's gonna happen.
- 39:14SPEAKER_01: So if Taysom Hill gets the opportunities, there's a real good chance that he can get 15 points or more.
- 39:23SPEAKER_01: So that's my big ball's call of the week.
- 39:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and Tony Jones last week had those two rushing touchdowns, too.
- 39:30SPEAKER_00: So it's definitely a big ball's call considering they uh, you know, they had the guy running between the tackles there.
- 39:36SPEAKER_00: But um you're right.
- 39:37SPEAKER_00: When uh I mean Taysom Hill was super effective, he was running to you know a lot of different positions or a lot of different yeah locations for them, so they like to move around into offense.
- 39:48SPEAKER_00: So definitely feasible, definitely feasible.
- 39:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they're just missing a few pieces right now, specifically with the run game.
- 39:55SPEAKER_01: So, you know, the top two guys are out.
- 39:58SPEAKER_01: I'm not sure what they're gonna do.
- 39:59SPEAKER_01: It might just be a committee, uh, Tony and Kendra Miller, but we'll see.
