- 0:06Speaker 1: All right, my love Hello is La La kent Aka.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Send it to Darryl and I have my best friend here,
- 0:14Speaker 1: Katie Maloney.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Hi, wait, what is that truck? Is that all I saw?
- 0:19Speaker 2: I saw, irscrim is that.
- 0:20Speaker 1: That's like a real truck rolling around. The merched team
- 0:24Speaker 1: was like, what do you feel? How do you feel
- 0:25Speaker 1: about this? And I was like, that sounds amazing.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Oh I love it.
- 0:30Speaker 1: And I love that it was the truck because it
- 0:33Speaker 1: just goes so perfectly with the fact that it's like
- 0:36Speaker 1: a meme. And to see this like little hot rod
- 0:38Speaker 1: truck rolling around Los Angeles, it's so funny. Oh my gosh,
- 0:41Speaker 1: it's zooming around today.
- 0:43Speaker 4: So today we're recording this on Monday, so it won't
- 0:45Speaker 4: be zooming around on Wednesday when this comes out. But
- 0:47Speaker 4: I'm hoping some of you see it.
- 0:49Speaker 2: It should also be like an ad for like legal
- 0:51Speaker 2: counsel if you need you need a lawyer called out,
- 0:54Speaker 2: just have like Daryl's face on there, like with like
- 0:56Speaker 2: two thumbs up.
- 0:57Speaker 1: I think Darryl is like, what have you done to me?
- 1:00Speaker 1: He seemed hyped about it, though I did ask him.
- 1:03Speaker 1: By the way, I said, Darryl, this is really hitting
- 1:05Speaker 1: and I didn't realize, like, can I please make merch
- 1:08Speaker 1: and he said, as long as you send me one
- 1:10Speaker 1: and they put it in an order for like sex.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Oh amazing.
- 1:14Speaker 1: I know.
- 1:14Speaker 2: No, he like he's like a lawyer celebrity on like
- 1:18Speaker 2: a website, a lawyer website.
- 1:20Speaker 1: I know. I saw it was really cute, cute face.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Darryl's a savage though, right, I love him. Yes, we're
- 1:28Speaker 1: recording today, but this will air on Wednesday. It's my
- 1:31Speaker 1: baby second birthday. Yes, I cannot believe she's already two.
- 1:35Speaker 1: It's very strange to me because I go from like
- 1:39Speaker 1: acting a damn fool on vander Pump Rules to acting
- 1:42Speaker 1: a damn fool on social media to put the phone away,
- 1:46Speaker 1: and I am like a different human being, like I
- 1:48Speaker 1: have to raise a person. And some people would say like, er,
- 1:52Speaker 1: I don't know about that, but I feel like I'm
- 1:54Speaker 1: doing an okay job. You are you amazing, thanks babe,
- 1:58Speaker 1: And you came to her birthday party.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Thank you so much.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:01Speaker 3: It was wild.
- 2:02Speaker 2: There's like live music, there was cake.
- 2:04Speaker 1: There was Pan Express. Yeah, Panic Express.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Was hitting different.
- 2:09Speaker 5: Fucked up the Pan Express all of us, Oh, we
- 2:11Speaker 5: all fucked it up. Yes, it was good and the
- 2:14Speaker 5: beat Buds, by the way, we're the band. I think
- 2:16Speaker 5: they're all over the US. They've got like multiple groups,
- 2:19Speaker 5: but they're so good.
- 2:20Speaker 1: They're so good. I feel like I was in a nightclub.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Yeah, and might have them for my next party. They
- 2:25Speaker 2: bring like instruments is very like you know. Crowd involvement
- 2:30Speaker 2: was gradual, but like as I was talking to the
- 2:32Speaker 2: other parents, I was like, is it loud in here?
- 2:36Speaker 1: Should we turn it down?
- 2:37Speaker 3: It was super loud.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Did you see Jenna so Jenna who used to be
- 2:42Speaker 1: a producer on our show, her son gets so buck
- 2:44Speaker 1: wild all that stuff. He no.
- 2:46Speaker 2: I saw him afterwards. He was beat red, just sweating.
- 2:49Speaker 2: I was like, did he just run a marathon? Like dang,
- 2:52Speaker 2: he goes hard.
- 2:53Speaker 3: He goes hard at the birthdays.
- 2:54Speaker 1: He goes real hard at the birthdays. I have to
- 2:56Speaker 1: be honest. The biggest reason why I got live music
- 3:00Speaker 1: because I saw him at Hartford's party and he loved
- 3:02Speaker 1: it so much that I was like, he's coming. I
- 3:04Speaker 1: have to have the music.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a hit at Hartford's.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Okay, so obviously you and I know the drill, Katie.
- 3:11Speaker 1: We can't discuss certain things, but I did ask the
- 3:15Speaker 1: Graham some questions.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Okay, we don't have to.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Answer them all, but I do want to ask you,
- 3:20Speaker 1: what is your prep like for reunion Day.
- 3:23Speaker 2: On the actual day of leading up.
- 3:25Speaker 1: To like, let's just say the week, because it does
- 3:27Speaker 1: take a week to get mentally prepared, I feel, so
- 3:30Speaker 1: what is the week like? And then the actual day?
- 3:33Speaker 1: How do you get amped up? Even like aesthetically how
- 3:38Speaker 1: do you get yourself looking snatched as fuck?
- 3:41Speaker 3: You would think I do more? I don't know.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I well, this year, I'm using a stylist. This past year,
- 3:49Speaker 2: I've never actually even used a stylist, but I am
- 3:52Speaker 2: working with Rima, who's amazing.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Who's across the hall.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Yeah this year, but I used her for Bravo con
- 3:58Speaker 2: I'm obsessed with her. So I already got my alf
- 4:02Speaker 2: it picked out. So that's like that takes a huge
- 4:04Speaker 2: weight off trying to like figure out what to wear.
- 4:06Speaker 2: And then it's like, yeah, get a little spray tan
- 4:08Speaker 2: on so you got a good glow, and then I.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Don't know, try to like.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Listen. You can only do so much with everything else.
- 4:17Speaker 2: I feel like, maybe maybe do some teeth whitening.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, I do all this thing pray that the.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Skin stays good, drink lots of water. I don't know,
- 4:29Speaker 2: like as far as like the mind, getting the mind right,
- 4:32Speaker 2: I don't know. I try not to get into like
- 4:35Speaker 2: a hole about anything. I try to just keep my
- 4:38Speaker 2: wits about myself and be like, Okay, you know what
- 4:40Speaker 2: you want to say, you know how you feel, say
- 4:43Speaker 2: what you mean, mean what you say, speak from your heart,
- 4:46Speaker 2: don't betray yourself.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Oh, stand your ground like that's that's just kind of yourself. Yeah,
- 4:51Speaker 3: just kind of just yeah, already know.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Just but the thing is a lot of that goes
- 4:55Speaker 2: out the window anyway, because you know, you get there
- 4:58Speaker 2: and you're kind of in the moment.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Well yeah, and you can't control what other people say.
- 5:02Speaker 1: And I noticed that in scenes and even at reunions.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Raquel literally I think she like writes down what she's
- 5:10Speaker 1: going to say, and you can tell because it never
- 5:12Speaker 1: makes sense. It's just because she's not thinking about what
- 5:16Speaker 1: the rebuttal.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Maybe yeah, so oh.
- 5:19Speaker 2: I think a lot of people prepare in a lot
- 5:21Speaker 2: of ways. You know, they like they're they're like in
- 5:24Speaker 2: their notes app or something like ready with you know,
- 5:28Speaker 2: their comebacks or what they want to bring up and
- 5:30Speaker 2: It's like to me, that just seems so like inauthentic,
- 5:34Speaker 2: and I don't know.
- 5:34Speaker 3: I try not to.
- 5:36Speaker 2: It's just like I lived it already. We know I
- 5:38Speaker 2: know what's coming. So I'd rather just sort of react
- 5:41Speaker 2: to what's being said and whatever questions come my way
- 5:44Speaker 2: and not be in my head and not be too
- 5:45Speaker 2: prepared about things.
- 5:47Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 5:47Speaker 1: I wing everything because if I if I prep, it
- 5:52Speaker 1: always ends up bad.
- 5:53Speaker 3: You can't prep.
- 5:54Speaker 1: No, do you know?
- 5:56Speaker 4: Will you know going into the reunion, how many parts
- 5:59Speaker 4: if it's multi parts they plan on it being or no.
- 6:02Speaker 2: No, that's the fun of it because Andy will Is
- 6:04Speaker 2: be like he'll do his sort of like wildlnes of
- 6:07Speaker 2: like welcome back or join us for part two, and
- 6:11Speaker 2: then if he says part three, then we're all.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Like ooh, We're all like, oh my gosh, I can
- 6:16Speaker 1: pay my rent and do some other stuff. Yeah. Yeah.
- 6:19Speaker 2: We find out literally that day, the day of the reunion,
- 6:24Speaker 2: while he's while he's delivering his sort of wild lines
- 6:27Speaker 2: like that, Oh that's cool.
- 6:29Speaker 1: This is the first year that we are going to
- 6:33Speaker 1: have a lot of episodes that we're going to have
- 6:36Speaker 1: to watch before the reunion because obviously we have to, Like,
- 6:40Speaker 1: the biggest thing is what people say behind your back, right, Yes,
- 6:43Speaker 1: we lived it, but I don't know what people said
- 6:45Speaker 1: in their confessionals. I don't know what people said when
- 6:47Speaker 1: they filmed without me. So we have to see all
- 6:51Speaker 1: the episodes before we go into the reunion. The reunion
- 6:53Speaker 1: has not been moved. We're only on episode six.
- 6:59Speaker 2: And it's next week, so we're gonna have like eight episodes,
- 7:01Speaker 2: six eight or nine episodes.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Yeah, to cram in a week.
- 7:06Speaker 1: And I told them when are we getting these because
- 7:10Speaker 1: usually we get them like the night before and I
- 7:13Speaker 1: need a good night's sleep, and if I watch something
- 7:16Speaker 1: like that before I go to bed, I'm not going
- 7:18Speaker 1: to sleep. I'm going to replay everything in my mind
- 7:20Speaker 1: a hundred times. So next week I am going to
- 7:23Speaker 1: be so chill. I told Jess, I don't want anything
- 7:26Speaker 1: that's going to make me like tense next week. I
- 7:30Speaker 1: just want to chill out. I got my spray tan happening.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I just want I may do like a little sound meditation,
- 7:38Speaker 1: zen myself out. Do you think Riquel's coming to the reunion.
- 7:42Speaker 2: I think so. I mean, listen, it's in the contract.
- 7:46Speaker 2: If you want, that's sort of like the button on things.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Like if you miss it, you're done.
- 7:54Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know, if you miss it, you're done.
- 7:55Speaker 2: But I think it doesn't bode well.
- 7:59Speaker 3: No, does not like the.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Only way you would not be able to go listen
- 8:04Speaker 2: Like I like, I had COVID last year and I
- 8:06Speaker 2: had to still like phone it in and I was
- 8:08Speaker 2: sitting there shivering, my body was aching, like I had
- 8:12Speaker 2: a blanket on my lap.
- 8:13Speaker 1: And No, but it was gangster because as the reunion
- 8:16Speaker 1: went on, She's leaning back in her chair, she just
- 8:18Speaker 1: starts to see me.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Yeah, like I.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Started strong, but then just like as like the medicine
- 8:23Speaker 2: was wearing off, and as the day just progressed, I
- 8:25Speaker 2: just I was like, just I was just in a bad,
- 8:29Speaker 2: bad way.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Should we plan a day to watch the episodes together?
- 8:33Speaker 1: I think I need you for like emotional and mental support.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I need something. I've have to sit there and
- 8:39Speaker 2: watch alone. I will like be spiraling because this is
- 8:41Speaker 2: the first season that I can remember that I've had
- 8:44Speaker 2: a hard time watching it back because normally.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Because people like is it harder to like watch it.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Back or I'm like no, because I've already lived it,
- 8:50Speaker 2: Like I do know what to expect, right, Yeah, because
- 8:52Speaker 2: even what people say behind my back, I know, I
- 8:55Speaker 2: know the drill. I do it, so I don't I
- 8:57Speaker 2: don't really take it to heart because it's like I
- 8:59Speaker 2: have to do the same thing. I know what goes
- 9:01Speaker 2: into it. I know when I go to my interviews
- 9:02Speaker 2: and I'm sitting in the chair that like that's just
- 9:06Speaker 2: like part for the course. We have to be like
- 9:08Speaker 2: a little snarky, you know, that is what it is.
- 9:11Speaker 2: I don't really take it too seriously. But this year,
- 9:14Speaker 2: there was so much happening actually like throughout the actual seat,
- 9:19Speaker 2: not just in our interview byes that I was really
- 9:23Speaker 2: surprised by, like I and it was hurtful and very disrespectful.
- 9:27Speaker 3: I thought so like that.
- 9:29Speaker 2: It's been hard for me so and I just know
- 9:31Speaker 2: that there's so much more to come and it doesn't
- 9:33Speaker 2: get much better so much Jesus, Like I'm gonna need
- 9:38Speaker 2: I'm gonna need.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Some emotional support. I got your back. I'll be your
- 9:43Speaker 1: emotional support animal my blanket.
- 9:46Speaker 4: Think it's interesting though, because you guys have a lot
- 9:50Speaker 4: of episodes, like you were saying, Laala to watch before
- 9:52Speaker 4: the reunion, because you have different relationships now.
- 9:56Speaker 1: I think it's like pretty apparent just off of our
- 9:58Speaker 1: social media presence that even after just the regular season wrapped,
- 10:06Speaker 1: friendships changed. But it was for me, like when I
- 10:09Speaker 1: started hanging out with Shena, there was a line in
- 10:13Speaker 1: the sand. If Raquel is there even before this stuff happened,
- 10:17Speaker 1: you will not catch this bit around me. I don't
- 10:20Speaker 1: like her, I don't like what she did to my
- 10:21Speaker 1: friend Katie. Don't bring her around me. Then all of
- 10:27Speaker 1: this shit happens, and I'm like, oh my god, thank god,
- 10:30Speaker 1: I did not give this hoe a chance to like
- 10:32Speaker 1: me in my presence and breathe my air.
- 10:35Speaker 5: You know.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Yeah, So the last episode is obviously gonna be about
- 10:39Speaker 1: what's going on now because, like Bravo said, we picked
- 10:42Speaker 1: cameras up again, which has never happened ever.
- 10:45Speaker 4: Do you go in with that energy though, because I've
- 10:47Speaker 4: never been at a reunion filming. Do you go in like,
- 10:50Speaker 4: for instance, and Katie, you don't have to speak on this,
- 10:52Speaker 4: but I feel like maybe your relationship with Schwartz on
- 10:57Speaker 4: the last day of filming might be different than is today.
- 11:00Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Well, you can always go in with that energy that
- 11:04Speaker 2: like where you are today. I mean that's kind of
- 11:06Speaker 2: the what the reunion is about, like, because you're coming
- 11:09Speaker 2: together like where you stand today. I mean, you're talking
- 11:12Speaker 2: about everything that happened, but you can absolutely be in
- 11:16Speaker 2: the place.
- 11:16Speaker 3: That you are today.
- 11:17Speaker 2: You don't have to necessarily pretend that you are where
- 11:20Speaker 2: you were six seven months ago.
- 11:22Speaker 3: It can be like nope, I'm right.
- 11:25Speaker 1: But it's interesting because you go in thinking like you're
- 11:28Speaker 1: all good. But the second you have to start talking
- 11:31Speaker 1: about the season I don't know about you, Katie, it
- 11:34Speaker 1: takes me right back to being in that place and
- 11:38Speaker 1: I start getting amped up again, and I start ripping
- 11:41Speaker 1: on bitches that I'm like, wait a minute, we're friends,
- 11:43Speaker 1: and then I just have to hope that they're strong
- 11:45Speaker 1: enough to like when we leave like high five and
- 11:49Speaker 1: go back.
- 11:49Speaker 4: You know, it makes me think of I just thought
- 11:51Speaker 4: of Brock last year, and you guys were in an
- 11:53Speaker 4: okay spot when you went into the reunion, but then.
- 11:59Speaker 1: All help broke Loue. Yes it did.
- 12:01Speaker 2: So I mean I'm like, so kind of not much
- 12:04Speaker 2: has changed with me and Bills.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Katie stays even killed. Not many surprises with Katie. What
- 12:16Speaker 1: did you think about Episode five? So last week's episode
- 12:19Speaker 1: six airs tonight. It's crazy.
- 12:21Speaker 2: First of all, my mom was the MVP of the episode,
- 12:26Speaker 2: but we all knew that that was gonna happen.
- 12:28Speaker 1: It's like not a shocked anything.
- 12:29Speaker 2: I saw so many amazing like memes on Instagram and
- 12:32Speaker 2: I kept sending her to sending them to her because
- 12:34Speaker 2: she was so nerver. She's like before it aired, she's like,
- 12:37Speaker 2: did I cry?
- 12:38Speaker 3: What's it?
- 12:38Speaker 1: Okay?
- 12:39Speaker 5: Was I?
- 12:39Speaker 2: This was I that?
- 12:40Speaker 3: I was like, you were great?
- 12:42Speaker 2: You're great then, and people like like just loved her
- 12:45Speaker 2: so much. So that made her feel good because she
- 12:46Speaker 2: gets nervous because she's.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Like, I don't want to embarrass you. I'm like, You're
- 12:48Speaker 3: never gonna embarrass me. Mom like, no, so care bear.
- 12:52Speaker 2: But I, oh yeah, I mean listen knowing it's hard
- 12:58Speaker 2: because like knowing what I know now, and even just
- 12:59Speaker 2: like before any of this, I look back on these episodes,
- 13:03Speaker 2: I'm like, God, I was so nice to that girl.
- 13:06Speaker 2: And it's also like and seeing what and see how
- 13:10Speaker 2: she was acting before we went on this trip, like
- 13:13Speaker 2: standing in the kitchen with Sheena and Schwartz and she's
- 13:17Speaker 2: just like your wife is of reacting. I was like, bitch,
- 13:20Speaker 2: I have a name. What do you mean your wife
- 13:22Speaker 2: is overreacting? Like this is how you're acting. But she
- 13:24Speaker 2: was totally nice to my face and seemed to understand.
- 13:28Speaker 2: And you know, I was apprehensive but still trying to
- 13:32Speaker 2: give her a chance because I was like, listen, you're
- 13:34Speaker 2: single this summer.
- 13:35Speaker 3: I'm single this summer. Like let's try to.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Make this like a girl squad of like us having
- 13:40Speaker 2: a fun how girl summer, all of us together. So
- 13:42Speaker 2: I was really trying to give her benefit of the
- 13:44Speaker 2: doubt and trying to get some kind of friendship off
- 13:46Speaker 2: the ground with her. That's why I was being and
- 13:47Speaker 2: I feel like she was being very misguided. We felt
- 13:49Speaker 2: that way that she was waving away from the shitty
- 13:52Speaker 2: advice from people. So we were trying to take her
- 13:54Speaker 2: under her wing, and we could see that she was
- 13:56Speaker 2: a bit lost. So and yeah, I wasn't trying to
- 13:59Speaker 2: make it all about Shina, but I really felt that
- 14:01Speaker 2: like Sina was just gunning for it. Yeah and yeah,
- 14:05Speaker 2: so again hindsight's twenty twenty. But I just watch it,
- 14:09Speaker 2: I'm just like, oh, Katie, you should have just told
- 14:12Speaker 2: her to stay home.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Right, I mean, even Christina Kelly and I were like,
- 14:18Speaker 1: are you for real right now, Like, are you really
- 14:22Speaker 1: bringing this girl on the trip? Really? Yes?
- 14:26Speaker 2: Yeah they were, And I was just like, I just
- 14:28Speaker 2: want listen. I try to I do this with people
- 14:31Speaker 2: and then until they I just I just know. And
- 14:34Speaker 2: now once I know that I can't with them, then
- 14:37Speaker 2: it's done.
- 14:38Speaker 1: See if I were young, yeah, i'd be like a
- 14:40Speaker 1: mob boss.
- 14:41Speaker 4: Yeah, I'd look back at that moment. I'd be so proud.
- 14:43Speaker 4: I'd be like, I gave her every chance. I was
- 14:46Speaker 4: so nice, I was so kind, I would be.
- 14:49Speaker 2: This is why, this is why I can confidently say
- 14:51Speaker 2: like fuck you to her, because I give you every opportunity.
- 14:54Speaker 2: I was so kind to you when I didn't have
- 14:55Speaker 2: to be, but I was. And the fact that you
- 14:58Speaker 2: didn't like really step up or really appreciate that or
- 15:03Speaker 2: recognize that, and you just walked all over that and
- 15:06Speaker 2: took a giant junk, diant giant dump on it like
- 15:10Speaker 2: you're an idiot and I don't care, I don't care
- 15:13Speaker 2: what's coming to you right now.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Like he deserves absolutely.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:18Speaker 1: That's what is so crazy to me is that when
- 15:21Speaker 1: people really fuck around and then there's repercussions for your
- 15:26Speaker 1: actions and they're they're like this isn't fair, though, and
- 15:32Speaker 1: this shouldn't be happening, and they try to like take
- 15:35Speaker 1: every avenue to make it make sense, and it's like this,
- 15:40Speaker 1: you did this. No one did this to you, right,
- 15:44Speaker 1: So are we sorry that we got caught? Or are
- 15:48Speaker 1: we sorry that it happened now? Obviously I have my
- 15:51Speaker 1: thoughts about sand of all, I've always had these feelings.
- 15:55Speaker 1: I feel like every time he's talking to me and
- 15:57Speaker 1: telling me what I need to fix, I literally feel
- 16:01Speaker 1: like he's talking to himself in a mirror. Yeah, it's
- 16:06Speaker 1: always such a mindful because everything he says to me,
- 16:08Speaker 1: I'm like, no, this is you. Everything you're projecting on
- 16:13Speaker 1: to me is everything that you do and possess. And
- 16:18Speaker 1: finally it's been exposed. And I am so glad that
- 16:25Speaker 1: the episodes are not being edited to fit this new storyline.
- 16:33Speaker 1: This was gonna be the storyline. No matter what I think,
- 16:38Speaker 1: people would would have just been more torn on how
- 16:40Speaker 1: they felt.
- 16:41Speaker 2: I think this, okay, this season is gonna be wild
- 16:44Speaker 2: and entertaining and no matter what, just blow your mind anyway.
- 16:49Speaker 2: But watching it now is gonna just be a treat,
- 16:53Speaker 2: you know what I mean. It's like, that's that's what
- 16:55Speaker 2: I'm excited about. It's like, now it's like gonna be
- 16:57Speaker 2: some kind of like Shamala on twist, you know what
- 17:01Speaker 2: I mean, Like that's it's just it's just having it
- 17:03Speaker 2: has a whole different lens on it. But yeah, with Standaval,
- 17:06Speaker 2: I mean, I just feel like I never stood a
- 17:09Speaker 2: chance with him. He was always gonna find fault with me.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Whenever I'd open up my mouth to talk about anything
- 17:15Speaker 2: about how I felt, what what hurt me, what I
- 17:19Speaker 2: was upset about, He'd just be like, Katy, what about this?
- 17:22Speaker 3: Like the what about hms?
- 17:23Speaker 2: And the just the constant blame game, I you know,
- 17:28Speaker 2: and then the nerves to always call me emotionally entitled.
- 17:31Speaker 2: I'm like emotionally entitled. That's interesting because yes, we're all
- 17:34Speaker 2: entitled to have emotions, but according to you, I'm not.
- 17:38Speaker 2: I'm not allowed actually because the minute I start feeling
- 17:42Speaker 2: anything or expressing anything, it's shut down immediately, and it's
- 17:46Speaker 2: it's ripped apart, it's criticized, it's crucified. I'm cast aside.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Like it's just like, how how the hell am I
- 17:56Speaker 2: emotionally entitled when I've never been justified my like my
- 18:02Speaker 2: feelings and emotions have never been respected or acknowledged or supported.
- 18:09Speaker 2: So how the hell I want to know?
- 18:11Speaker 1: How?
- 18:11Speaker 2: I've like, I'm so emotionally entitled and it's like ridiculous
- 18:14Speaker 2: in his eyes.
- 18:16Speaker 1: But I feel like when you're well, he's never gonna
- 18:17Speaker 1: understand because he's obviously and I will never stop saying that.
- 18:21Speaker 1: But also, when you are in a marriage, you are
- 18:26Speaker 1: both emotionally entitled. Okay, you now have to accept everything
- 18:31Speaker 1: that I'm feeling and I have to accept everything that
- 18:34Speaker 1: you're feeling. That's what a marriage is, which is why
- 18:37Speaker 1: I will never get married.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Well, no, no, I'm talking about Tom Stannabal.
- 18:41Speaker 1: I know, but he will never understand that because he's
- 18:43Speaker 1: not in that. He's never been in that type of partnership. Right, Well, well,
- 18:49Speaker 1: he basically.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Like him and Ariana. I mean they're marriage or their
- 18:53Speaker 2: relationship emulated that, I mean being in a ten decade
- 18:57Speaker 2: long almost relationship and owning a home like, But he
- 19:00Speaker 2: didn't often the same thing with Ariana, Like she would
- 19:03Speaker 2: often express the way she felt about something and it
- 19:06Speaker 2: was like falling on deaf ears.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Well, you guys were in very similar.
- 19:11Speaker 3: I know, and I've said that to her.
- 19:12Speaker 2: I was just like the the similarities were just profound,
- 19:20Speaker 2: and I couldn't tell you that because that would be insulting.
- 19:23Speaker 1: I said it a lot.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Well, I mean no, but who wants but who wants
- 19:29Speaker 2: to say, like, hey, so you know that marriage I
- 19:32Speaker 2: just ended because of all these things. I see that
- 19:37Speaker 2: in your own relationship, like.
- 19:38Speaker 1: I just but Katie, not many women are strong enough
- 19:44Speaker 1: like you to say this is not what I want
- 19:47Speaker 1: to be in Like, but it took a long time.
- 19:50Speaker 1: It took a long time, Katie. But like it was
- 19:53Speaker 1: definitely the cherry on top when you said to him, like,
- 19:57Speaker 1: this is what needs to happen, or I have to
- 19:59Speaker 1: form my self, be done and move on with my life.
- 20:03Speaker 1: But for me, for Arianna, even though it was so
- 20:09Speaker 1: apparent to me that I was extremely unhappy in my relationship.
- 20:14Speaker 1: He was my best friend, but I wasn't happy in
- 20:17Speaker 1: the relationship, and I, for some reason, did not feel
- 20:22Speaker 1: that I could move on. I just didn't until something
- 20:26Speaker 1: was in front of me where I didn't have a choice.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Same with Arianna, because I had been through it and
- 20:31Speaker 1: now I was watching as an outsider, I was like,
- 20:34Speaker 1: I so feel for her because this is how I
- 20:38Speaker 1: was in my relationship. But Arianna, I was like, he's
- 20:42Speaker 1: sucking the life out of her. She's a shell of
- 20:44Speaker 1: a person. And until that happened, which I'm devastated for her,
- 20:48Speaker 1: but it was right in front of her. There's no
- 20:50Speaker 1: other option.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Listen, just because there wasn't something like I mean, there
- 20:54Speaker 2: was tons of infidelity, obviously, but just because there wasn't
- 20:57Speaker 2: like the a catastrophic event that And I still didn't
- 21:00Speaker 2: feel like I had a choice.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Like wh I say that to people when they say
- 21:05Speaker 1: you had a choice?
- 21:06Speaker 3: No, you know, like you wanted this. No I didn't.
- 21:09Speaker 2: I didn't want this, but I recognized that I was
- 21:11Speaker 2: rotting on the inside, and I wanted to end that rot.
- 21:14Speaker 2: I still was very much like still very much loved
- 21:18Speaker 2: him and wanted to be with him and wanted that
- 21:21Speaker 2: life with him, but like, it wasn't gonna happen. So
- 21:23Speaker 2: I had to be real with myself. The choice was
- 21:25Speaker 2: to get real honest with myself, and that's what I chose.
- 21:28Speaker 3: You're right.
- 21:29Speaker 1: There were a lot of things where it was like, Okay,
- 21:31Speaker 1: you fucked up again, Okay you're not coming home and
- 21:33Speaker 1: you're picking stand of all. Yes, you're absolutely right, but
- 21:36Speaker 1: I do admire your strength. That's something horrific. Didn't have
- 21:41Speaker 1: to happen for you to get that strength.
- 21:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, let's just be honest.
- 21:45Speaker 4: People stay in those That's a lot of marriages, Unfortunately,
- 21:49Speaker 4: it's people just settling because, like you said, it's comfortable
- 21:51Speaker 4: and it's you can just.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Because it's it's you have to turn everything on its head,
- 21:56Speaker 2: and you know, then all of a sudden, it's like
- 21:58Speaker 2: I'm moving out on my own and then I'm unraveling
- 22:03Speaker 2: my life from this person I've been with so long.
- 22:04Speaker 2: I'm selling my house and like this everything that I
- 22:07Speaker 2: thought I knew was just done and it's going to
- 22:09Speaker 2: be different now. And it's just like unpacking that sod.
- 22:11Speaker 2: And that's why, you know, I've was struggling a lot
- 22:15Speaker 2: when you see in the like this, you know, these
- 22:17Speaker 2: episodes that you're watching of like trying to navigate this
- 22:22Speaker 2: friendship friends space with Tom is so up and down
- 22:26Speaker 2: and so difficult. And that's why just being so fresh
- 22:28Speaker 2: and new, Like we just moved out of our house
- 22:31Speaker 2: like a month prior to this, so it's like it
- 22:34Speaker 2: is still fresh, right, and I don't care that it
- 22:36Speaker 2: was my choice and I shouldn't. I'm not dictating anything
- 22:39Speaker 2: as life. Like, you know, we're trying to figure out
- 22:41Speaker 2: how to be friends. We're trying to film this show together.
- 22:45Speaker 2: We still have all the same like best friends, So
- 22:47Speaker 2: let's not complicate it even further by, you know, hooking
- 22:51Speaker 2: up with somebody that's also like right here in front
- 22:53Speaker 2: of us.
- 22:54Speaker 1: And I know that.
- 22:55Speaker 3: It's like, oh, well, who would you hook up with, Katie?
- 22:56Speaker 2: There aren't any options. I'm just well, yeah, you're right,
- 22:58Speaker 2: but who knows. Someone could have stepped into the show
- 23:02Speaker 2: or stepped into this quad.
- 23:03Speaker 1: There's a lot of people at the restaurants that are
- 23:05Speaker 1: like hitten different that you could have hooked right.
- 23:08Speaker 2: Like, just because you don't know exactly who the like,
- 23:11Speaker 2: there's people, there's people around and that's who I'm speaking about.
- 23:15Speaker 2: But yeah, so it's just like, let's not make it toxic.
- 23:18Speaker 2: And it's like, just because people have done this in
- 23:20Speaker 2: the past for so many years, well, we're not twenty
- 23:23Speaker 2: six anymore, thank you, And like Tom and I was like,
- 23:26Speaker 2: we're not. He wasn't just some dude I dated. We
- 23:28Speaker 2: were married and together for a really long time. And
- 23:30Speaker 2: also like when people were doing that past, that wasn't
- 23:33Speaker 2: fun for anyone. It was very awkward. It was very toxic,
- 23:36Speaker 2: and Tom and I didn't want that for us, you know,
- 23:40Speaker 2: we wanted to.
- 23:41Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Oh, I thought we did honor what we had and
- 23:45Speaker 2: tried to, you know, lay some foundation for a friendship.
- 23:47Speaker 2: So that's what this is about. He understood, like, this
- 23:51Speaker 2: is what I need to be comfortable. Otherwise it's gonna
- 23:53Speaker 2: make our friendship very hard and I don't know if I'll.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Be able to do it. So that's what it is.
- 23:57Speaker 2: It's not me trying to control him, just saying like
- 24:00Speaker 2: I won't. I don't know how we will be able
- 24:01Speaker 2: to maintain friendship if you were to start doing that,
- 24:04Speaker 2: because that's how I'll feel about it.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Well, it's cool he wants healthy boundaries.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 24:09Speaker 2: I'm just saying it's not like he didn't have like
- 24:11Speaker 2: the option was still there for him. It's not like,
- 24:14Speaker 2: you know, like, yeah, I mean, and yeah, I was
- 24:17Speaker 2: doing my own thing, but literally with people that no
- 24:20Speaker 2: one knew and didn't see it and wasn't bringing it
- 24:23Speaker 2: to his door, and he was welcome to do the same.
- 24:26Speaker 1: I'm really curious to see how people will react to
- 24:29Speaker 1: tonight's episode, because I feel like tonight's episode is what
- 24:34Speaker 1: really launches us into like the wild ride. You know, yeah,
- 24:40Speaker 1: it's really funny, but also I'm just very excited tonight.
- 24:47Speaker 1: It's Vegas. I mean, I know there's like a rundown.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Have a suit.
- 24:50Speaker 1: We're now in have a suit. We go to have
- 24:52Speaker 1: a suit, Lake have a suit.
- 24:53Speaker 4: Yeah, Arianna has left, and so now it's Katie La
- 24:58Speaker 4: La Christina Raquel.
- 25:00Speaker 1: That's it four of us. Oh boy, I know I
- 25:03Speaker 1: may have to have you back on next week. How
- 25:08Speaker 1: did you feel about the Raquel and all of our
- 25:10Speaker 1: stuff last week's episode? Can we just talk about what
- 25:14Speaker 1: Disco Pussy was actually, like.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Oh my god, they were like zombies there, like just
- 25:19Speaker 2: people on the dance floor. They were just like like
- 25:22Speaker 2: they look like they're just like half dead. Honestly, No,
- 25:25Speaker 2: literally disco Pussy them making out on the dance floor.
- 25:29Speaker 1: It wasn't like them making out with a bunch of
- 25:32Speaker 1: people who were like dancing normal and canoodling, and it
- 25:35Speaker 1: was just like, you know, Rihanna's Diamonds is playing in
- 25:39Speaker 1: the background. No, it was music that you cannot dance to,
- 25:43Speaker 1: just like random sal like random beats, people who came
- 25:47Speaker 1: by themselves and brought their own lights, and they were
- 25:52Speaker 1: so fucked up on whatever they were on that they
- 25:55Speaker 1: were literally like zombies banging their heads and glow sticks
- 25:59Speaker 1: like really close to their eyes. It was not a
- 26:01Speaker 1: romantic wow situation, but I love the way they made
- 26:05Speaker 1: it look. No, they made it look interesting.
- 26:08Speaker 4: Why did you go there?
- 26:11Speaker 1: Okay, out of all the places, A lot of people
- 26:13Speaker 1: want to know why we went to Disco Pussy and
- 26:15Speaker 1: why we chose Havasu, And I'm going to tell you
- 26:17Speaker 1: why we chose these two places because I felt that
- 26:21Speaker 1: Katie was getting out of something she was very comfortable with.
- 26:25Speaker 1: So I'm like, what can we do where it is
- 26:27Speaker 1: so far out of our fucking norm and out of
- 26:31Speaker 1: our comfort zone? That were kind of like a fish
- 26:35Speaker 1: out of water. And it was that.
- 26:39Speaker 4: Did you see because I saw you talking to you
- 26:42Speaker 4: and Christina were talking to a couple guys.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Were you interested in them or were you just like
- 26:46Speaker 1: it's fun?
- 26:46Speaker 2: We had seen them outside and I think they were like, oh,
- 26:49Speaker 2: where there's where are those girls going in this place?
- 26:51Speaker 2: Because they were very much like what is this place?
- 26:54Speaker 5: They were?
- 26:54Speaker 2: I don't I think they were fish out of water too.
- 26:56Speaker 2: But they were but I think they wanted they were curious,
- 26:59Speaker 2: so but.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Yeah, no, there they were very sweet. They seemed sweet.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Is that your type? Do you have a type? No,
- 27:07Speaker 1: he doesn't have a type at all. No, it is.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Like it's random. It's just like if I see and
- 27:14Speaker 2: I like, then.
- 27:14Speaker 1: I like, okay, yeah, we've talked about, like dude she's
- 27:18Speaker 1: hooked up with, and she'll show me and I'm like, wow,
- 27:21Speaker 1: this one looks very different from the last one. In
- 27:24Speaker 1: the last one, those two look very different too, And wow,
- 27:27Speaker 1: we really don't have a type here.
- 27:29Speaker 4: No, No, but there's not like something specific like a
- 27:32Speaker 4: guy in a band.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Does that like peak your interests?
- 27:34Speaker 3: For sure?
- 27:35Speaker 1: Okay?
- 27:35Speaker 2: But also a guy that's I don't know, throwing a football,
- 27:40Speaker 2: throwing a football, yeah, yeah, okay, or a.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Golf club, all of them playing a band. Joe doesn't fucking.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Matter selling insurance just like totally yeah.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Does not insurance man. No, And it's a big he
- 27:56Speaker 1: had big shoes eyes too. You better get a girl.
- 28:00Speaker 2: No, it doesn't like truly Okay, I don't know. It's
- 28:03Speaker 2: like listen if I don't know, if you make me
- 28:05Speaker 2: feel kind of some kind of way, then you can look,
- 28:08Speaker 2: I don't.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Know when the cookie calls. You just answered, right, it's
- 28:12Speaker 1: just what you do. By the way, can I back
- 28:15Speaker 1: myself up on the scene where I'm at Raquel's apartment
- 28:18Speaker 1: and I'm like, we don't have the same type, that dude,
- 28:21Speaker 1: absolutely hysterical. Never, I do not recall ever making that
- 28:26Speaker 1: comment about Schwortz. Literally don't recall it even the smallest
- 28:31Speaker 1: I remember, but I don't think you would.
- 28:33Speaker 2: You were like seriously wanting to. I think it was
- 28:35Speaker 2: mostly it was mostly to get at me like that
- 28:38Speaker 2: you truly wanted to.
- 28:39Speaker 1: It was me being a drunk and see you next
- 28:41Speaker 1: to shorts was definitely not your type. You don't say,
- 28:46Speaker 1: I know.
- 28:46Speaker 2: But but about Raquel, because I remember, like, yeah, at
- 28:50Speaker 2: dinner you you mentioned like all of us were.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Like, oh yeah, yes, but can I tell you Raquel
- 28:57Speaker 1: and I drunk La, La and Raquel may have the
- 29:00Speaker 1: same type. Sober Lala and Raquel do not have the
- 29:04Speaker 1: same I do not have the same type. How I
- 29:06Speaker 1: ever slept with James Kennedy, I will never fucking know,
- 29:10Speaker 1: and I don't think it ever would have happened had
- 29:12Speaker 1: I not been intoxicated. Yeah, at the beginning, I really
- 29:15Speaker 1: don't comfortability. Drinks and comfortability. I've always said that combination,
- 29:21Speaker 1: you're gonna be sitting on someone's face. Yeah, sure will be.
- 29:24Speaker 1: So how wait did you guys?
- 29:26Speaker 4: Were you guys all pushing like you were like this
- 29:28Speaker 4: is Laala and Oliver have to get together?
- 29:30Speaker 2: And then she said listen, I know she wanted to
- 29:32Speaker 2: give me out of my comfort zone and then was
- 29:33Speaker 2: about like Katie divorce whatever. But I also was like law,
- 29:37Speaker 2: like you're you're finally taking a trip as a girl ship,
- 29:39Speaker 2: like you need to make out someone too. So when
- 29:41Speaker 2: she was like mentioned all of her like, I got
- 29:44Speaker 2: really excited for her. I would I didn't notice because
- 29:46Speaker 2: I was unaware of like the point where she tapped
- 29:49Speaker 2: out of it, because like I noticed, Raquel was like
- 29:52Speaker 2: parked right in between them.
- 29:53Speaker 3: I was like, what is she doing?
- 29:54Speaker 2: That was strength, but what is she doing? Like Lala
- 29:57Speaker 2: like finally had some like interest in a guy, like
- 30:00Speaker 2: I wanted her to like have this moment as well.
- 30:02Speaker 3: But I didn't notice.
- 30:03Speaker 2: That there was a point where Laake was like I'm
- 30:05Speaker 2: not I'm out of this And when was that point?
- 30:08Speaker 1: Well, so Oliver we started talking. He said he was separated,
- 30:12Speaker 1: and then he said he was. They were working on
- 30:15Speaker 1: their footing with co parenting. So I said, oh my god,
- 30:19Speaker 1: like I'm in a custody battle right now. It's very intense.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Now keep in mind when he said separated, that for
- 30:26Speaker 1: me is a trigger and I want to say a
- 30:29Speaker 1: red flag, but I was like, there's no way, Like,
- 30:33Speaker 1: it may be a trigger for me, but it's not
- 30:35Speaker 1: really a red flag in this situation because we have
- 30:37Speaker 1: a camera crew here. Who would lie about being separated
- 30:40Speaker 1: on a show that's going to be televised nationwide. You wouldn't. Okay,
- 30:47Speaker 1: So Raquel's parked in front of us. We go to
- 30:50Speaker 1: the bar. She's like, you know, I'm kind of into
- 30:53Speaker 1: him too. And honestly, at that point, just with the
- 30:57Speaker 1: separated comment, and I just I wasn't getting the I
- 31:01Speaker 1: have to let you smash. It's more was like, I'm
- 31:04Speaker 1: enjoying this conversation, but like, I ain't popping pussy for you, right,
- 31:07Speaker 1: I don't need to make out with you. It just
- 31:09Speaker 1: wasn't That wasn't my vibe. So when she said she
- 31:11Speaker 1: wanted that, I was like, you should go for it.
- 31:14Speaker 1: That's why I tell her, I think you're overthinking this,
- 31:16Speaker 1: just go in for the kill. I have no intention
- 31:19Speaker 1: of doing anything like someone should.
- 31:20Speaker 3: And you genuinely appure th way.
- 31:22Speaker 2: It didn't seem like you were like at all miffed
- 31:24Speaker 2: by it or like put off, like or jealous or
- 31:28Speaker 2: anything like. I could sense that you were just like,
- 31:30Speaker 2: I'm not feeling this anymore.
- 31:32Speaker 1: No, I was, by the way, but I didn't see
- 31:34Speaker 1: that trying to smash. No, you were talking to that
- 31:37Speaker 1: cute Yeah. If I was trying to smash I promise you,
- 31:40Speaker 1: I would have said, back the fuck off. Oh she
- 31:44Speaker 1: she wouldn't.
- 31:44Speaker 2: It wouldn't even gotten to that point because you would
- 31:46Speaker 2: have punted her out of.
- 31:47Speaker 1: The no, the seat if it was going that direction,
- 31:51Speaker 1: I wouldn't have even needed to tell her to back off,
- 31:53Speaker 1: because my energy would have let him know we're doing this. Yeah,
- 31:58Speaker 1: by the end of that, when Wala turns that shit,
- 32:00Speaker 1: you ain't gonna see nobody else.
- 32:02Speaker 4: Did you look over Katie and see them making out?
- 32:05Speaker 1: Were you like, what the fuck are you? No?
- 32:07Speaker 2: I didn't like again, I was. I was very cooless
- 32:09Speaker 2: like I was. I was kind of into my own thing.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Right, we were all into our own thing. We had
- 32:16Speaker 1: no freaking clue.
- 32:18Speaker 2: Also, Christina Kelly had to like basically force me to
- 32:21Speaker 2: go talk to those guys. I was very like shy,
- 32:24Speaker 2: which I'm also like not like I normally like very
- 32:27Speaker 2: I have no problem going up.
- 32:28Speaker 1: It was the atmosphere.
- 32:30Speaker 2: It was the atmosphere was like not it And also
- 32:33Speaker 2: like I think I just gotched it, like kind of
- 32:36Speaker 2: I've never been single on the show, and so that
- 32:38Speaker 2: element of like doing like you know, talking to guys
- 32:43Speaker 2: with like cameras, I don't know.
- 32:45Speaker 3: I was just like this, it's.
- 32:46Speaker 1: So much pressure. It's a lot of pressure.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Ah.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Yeah, no, that gives me anxiety.
- 32:51Speaker 4: By the way, Christina seems like a surprise, not surprisingly,
- 32:55Speaker 4: but a great wing woman.
- 32:57Speaker 3: Yeah, she definitely.
- 32:58Speaker 4: Seems like it.
- 32:59Speaker 1: I was like, is everything she like goes up? She talks.
- 33:04Speaker 1: She was like like triple virgo sign, got a clear head,
- 33:08Speaker 1: grounded fun. Yeah, she's a good one. No one hangs
- 33:15Speaker 1: like Katie Maloney, I'll tell you what you're having fun.
- 33:18Speaker 1: You're single. Yeah, you said, there's there's a guy sitting
- 33:22Speaker 1: at this table, but he seems to be leaving. He
- 33:24Speaker 1: looks like you know if.
- 33:25Speaker 2: You yeah, no, They're like, we have a table available,
- 33:27Speaker 2: but there's a guy sitting at him.
- 33:29Speaker 3: Like what was he?
- 33:30Speaker 5: Like?
- 33:30Speaker 3: Is he sleep or something like?
- 33:31Speaker 1: What's old man? Yeah?
- 33:33Speaker 2: Like I thought was just like some old man who's
- 33:35Speaker 2: just been there all night. And they're like he's They're
- 33:36Speaker 2: like no, like he seems fine, like he's actually really cute.
- 33:38Speaker 3: And I was like, all right, let's go.
- 33:39Speaker 2: And then we see this guy stay at the table.
- 33:41Speaker 2: I was like, oh, yes, I'm gonna go ahead and
- 33:43Speaker 2: just take that seat right there.
- 33:46Speaker 3: H uh huh.
- 33:47Speaker 2: I was like, la guy, someone she's gonna be up with.
- 33:50Speaker 2: I think Sophie's got a boyfriend situation.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Yep. We have so fun maloney. Yeah. By the way, huh.
- 33:57Speaker 1: If we are so lucky to get a eleven, you
- 34:01Speaker 1: you will have found your footing. I will have found mine.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Arian is gonna have some downtime, and she's right, we're
- 34:10Speaker 1: gonna paint the town fucking red. We're gonna be painting
- 34:13Speaker 1: the town fucking pussy pink pitch. But god, it's the prettiest,
- 34:20Speaker 1: the prettiest of the pinks. All right, what are the questions, Katie?
- 34:24Speaker 4: Looking back with a fresh view, do you see a
- 34:28Speaker 4: different slash earlier point?
- 34:30Speaker 1: You should have called it quits. Oh that's a pretty
- 34:33Speaker 1: good question.
- 34:34Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, there's probably multiple times, but I don't
- 34:40Speaker 2: regret it. The similar to you know, giving Raquel every
- 34:45Speaker 2: opportunity and every you know, you kind of want to
- 34:47Speaker 2: ride it to the wheels fall off. You want to
- 34:48Speaker 2: know that you did everything possible. You have to really
- 34:53Speaker 2: wait till you get to that point that you're like,
- 34:55Speaker 2: it's your breaking point. But yeah, there's I don't think
- 34:59Speaker 2: I would have done it differently, but yeah, obviously, like
- 35:01Speaker 2: there was cheating, there was other breaking points of just
- 35:08Speaker 2: being you know, upset and devastated, you know, but I
- 35:13Speaker 2: just I wasn't ready then I didn't I didn't get
- 35:16Speaker 2: I didn't see see it for what it was until
- 35:19Speaker 2: I saw it for what it was.
- 35:20Speaker 1: So I'm excited for people I've said this before to
- 35:23Speaker 1: see Katie this season because she and I have the
- 35:27Speaker 1: similar game face and like our words are very intense,
- 35:32Speaker 1: our presence is very intense. But there's moments this season
- 35:36Speaker 1: where you see Katie and how she's like vulnerable, moments
- 35:42Speaker 1: that I think are even tonight's episode there's a very
- 35:45Speaker 1: sweet moment, and I'm just really excited for people to
- 35:48Speaker 1: see that, Like you really did, like you said, rocking
- 35:51Speaker 1: until the wheels fell off. You know, you did everything
- 35:54Speaker 1: that you possibly could.
- 35:56Speaker 4: Yeah, proud of you, kid, And that was from Katt Eau. Sorry, Ketto,
- 36:01Speaker 4: I don't know how to say that. Kara Jane one
- 36:04Speaker 4: two three one. Do you guys ever want to get
- 36:07Speaker 4: married or married again? What do you want in life?
- 36:10Speaker 1: What do you want? Katie?
- 36:11Speaker 3: I want at all?
- 36:12Speaker 2: But listen, I sit there and think, like I don't
- 36:17Speaker 2: see myself after like planning a wedding and doing that
- 36:20Speaker 2: whole thing again. But I'm not opposed to to marriage.
- 36:25Speaker 2: Just you know, that's not it. I don't I'm like
- 36:28Speaker 2: seeking that out again. If if somebody's like I really
- 36:30Speaker 2: want to like marry you, and I'm like love this person,
- 36:32Speaker 2: I'd be like, Okay, I'm down, but I don't know
- 36:34Speaker 2: about the whole like wedding situation.
- 36:37Speaker 3: That's yeah, that feels just weird.
- 36:39Speaker 2: Yeah, the wedding dress, the walking down the aisle, I'm
- 36:42Speaker 2: just like I don't know about that, the bride's maids.
- 36:45Speaker 2: No oh no no no no no no no. Like
- 36:47Speaker 2: it's like but like doing like courthouse or eloping, that
- 36:51Speaker 2: would be fine.
- 36:52Speaker 1: I love that obviously. I don't know what my future holds.
- 36:56Speaker 1: I never thought that this is what my future would hold.
- 36:59Speaker 1: But as far as like what I want, I am
- 37:03Speaker 1: alone wolf. I don't know that I want a partner.
- 37:09Speaker 1: I definitely will never get married. I don't even know
- 37:12Speaker 1: that I want a partner though what I think, I yeah,
- 37:17Speaker 1: I've realized that all of my relationships that I've had
- 37:21Speaker 1: besides like my high school sweetheart, have always been long distance,
- 37:26Speaker 1: and like that works for me. I don't like someone
- 37:29Speaker 1: around me all the time. I like to do my
- 37:30Speaker 1: own thing. I would be completely happy buying a big
- 37:35Speaker 1: old house, moving my mom and Easton into it, my gays,
- 37:40Speaker 1: my best friends. Do you know they just bring in
- 37:42Speaker 1: Dick when I need it. I know that sounds horrible.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Also having and just having a sperm. Don now that
- 37:47Speaker 1: like you give me kids.
- 37:48Speaker 2: I feel like now that you're like, you're like, this
- 37:50Speaker 2: is this is what it is. You're going to meet
- 37:52Speaker 2: somebody and can completely change. That's usually how it works,
- 37:56Speaker 2: totally like how it works.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Ye're like, you know what, I don't need anyone.
- 37:59Speaker 2: I don't want anyone, Like this is what I want
- 38:00Speaker 2: for myself, and there's somebody that's going like the universe
- 38:02Speaker 2: is gonna be like, oh yeah, sentiment.
- 38:06Speaker 1: Rock her world. I just feel so happy. I loved No,
- 38:11Speaker 1: that's on my own.
- 38:12Speaker 2: But this means that you like have found like the
- 38:15Speaker 2: love for yourself and the happy like you you're good.
- 38:17Speaker 2: That's like where everyone should really strive to be.
- 38:19Speaker 1: Thanks, Katie.
- 38:20Speaker 2: Yeah, happiness just on your own happiness.
- 38:25Speaker 1: I'm sheer happy.
- 38:26Speaker 2: You're not looking for it like in a partner with
- 38:28Speaker 2: anyone else. You're like, I'm good on my own. That's
- 38:30Speaker 2: that's like the that's the dream.
- 38:33Speaker 1: That is the dream. I'm living the dream right now.
- 38:36Speaker 4: You're you are your biggest love. Okay, sidfreed Rich give
- 38:41Speaker 4: us some specialty sandwich ideas inspired by Slash for something
- 38:45Speaker 4: about her?
- 38:46Speaker 1: Can I just say this very quickly. We had the
- 38:50Speaker 1: sandwich tasting that you'll see you'll see at the very
- 38:55Speaker 1: end of the season. Katie, I can't get them off
- 38:59Speaker 1: of my mind. They are the most fantastic sandwiches I've
- 39:03Speaker 1: ever had in my entire life.
- 39:05Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, they're they're not like these like the
- 39:10Speaker 2: most innovative, like out of the like the box kind
- 39:14Speaker 2: of sandwiches, But we really wanted to do, you know,
- 39:18Speaker 2: sandwiches that are kind of classics ones that you've had before,
- 39:20Speaker 2: but do them well and kind of elevate them in
- 39:23Speaker 2: ways to whether it's like through a spread or you know,
- 39:27Speaker 2: adding a little spice or something. You know, just like
- 39:29Speaker 2: some kind of something to them, like whether it's like
- 39:31Speaker 2: a spicy like pimento with like a turkey kind of situation,
- 39:35Speaker 2: maybe some jalapenos just to kind of punch it up
- 39:39Speaker 2: a bit. And it's really interesting because there's one that
- 39:43Speaker 2: for most people that you know, when they would go
- 39:45Speaker 2: to order sandwich, they would get something, whether it's like
- 39:46Speaker 2: a like I love a silk or sad, or they
- 39:49Speaker 2: get a turkey or like some kind of like meat option.
- 39:51Speaker 2: But the one that killed the most was the the
- 39:54Speaker 2: the Greek salad sandwich that was like that was like
- 39:57Speaker 2: a crowd favorite, which was like so interesting because it's
- 40:00Speaker 2: all like it's a vegetarian.
- 40:01Speaker 1: We had three, right, there was a.
- 40:04Speaker 2: Spicy turkey, the soaper soda, the the vegan one, the
- 40:08Speaker 2: green that one was really good too, and then so
- 40:10Speaker 2: there's four so and then the Greek salad.
- 40:12Speaker 1: That's right, because we had the Greek salad one at
- 40:14Speaker 1: the actual space and that was hitting all the.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Yes, So it's just gonna be about like having a
- 40:22Speaker 2: really great bread, which you know, we we haven't settled
- 40:27Speaker 2: on like what kind of like breads just yet, you know,
- 40:29Speaker 2: but getting like the ingredients of the innerds just yet,
- 40:33Speaker 2: you know what I mean.
- 40:33Speaker 1: But are you guys gonna have soup?
- 40:35Speaker 2: I don't know. We were thinking about some like seasonal salads.
- 40:38Speaker 2: I think having like a soup, like a nice like
- 40:40Speaker 2: I love, I like go hard on, like a butternut squash,
- 40:43Speaker 2: and like a or like a good like I love,
- 40:45Speaker 2: like a bone broth. I think a turmberic bone broth
- 40:48Speaker 2: would be really beautiful, especially for like fall, Like I
- 40:51Speaker 2: think that's like a cozy thing to have on the menu.
- 40:53Speaker 1: But what about names? Do you guys have names yet? No?
- 40:56Speaker 3: Like we thought about doing.
- 40:57Speaker 2: I thought something so cute for just to play into
- 41:01Speaker 2: something about her, because I thought it would be like
- 41:04Speaker 2: you know, the naming things about her. You know this
- 41:08Speaker 2: whatever you know her is to you, but like her
- 41:12Speaker 2: laugh or.
- 41:13Speaker 1: Like her you know mile Okay, I have chills.
- 41:16Speaker 2: But that could be either like for like the drinks
- 41:19Speaker 2: that we have or the sandwiches or you know, something
- 41:21Speaker 2: like that.
- 41:21Speaker 3: But like I think that could be fun.
- 41:23Speaker 1: That's so stinking kill right. I love that, Katie. You
- 41:27Speaker 1: have to do that charm whatever.
- 41:30Speaker 2: Like the things that just like add up to making
- 41:32Speaker 2: the things about her, you.
- 41:34Speaker 4: Know, goosebumps up to peggyback on that. I mean, we
- 41:37Speaker 4: have a ton asking when will something about her open?
- 41:41Speaker 1: Do you have a date for something about her? Is
- 41:43Speaker 1: it all just like TVD?
- 41:45Speaker 2: I mean, I'm still TBD are in our meeting with
- 41:48Speaker 2: interior designer.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Oh, I can't stop smart.
- 41:53Speaker 2: But it's like we're like we are like We're like,
- 41:56Speaker 2: it's we're making it, making it happen. I mean, like
- 41:59Speaker 2: I said, we we wanted to be very intentional and
- 42:03Speaker 2: really thought out with everything that we've done, especially with
- 42:07Speaker 2: the pre opening stuff, the budget and all of these things,
- 42:12Speaker 2: getting all the ducks in a row, because it's not
- 42:15Speaker 2: just about getting location and throwing up some you know,
- 42:19Speaker 2: paint and getting some tables and chairs in there and
- 42:21Speaker 2: just start, you know, throwing sandwiches out.
- 42:23Speaker 3: It's like there's a lot of pre stuff.
- 42:26Speaker 2: Like when we work to these consultants, they're like, no,
- 42:28Speaker 2: it's it's like at least a year of this stuff
- 42:31Speaker 2: before you even work into that. And then you know,
- 42:33Speaker 2: sometimes it can take a long time to find a
- 42:35Speaker 2: location and you have to like build out a location.
- 42:37Speaker 2: Like it's it's not often that you just.
- 42:41Speaker 1: Just just looks give me some chain restaurant that's moving in,
- 42:44Speaker 1: you know, it's.
- 42:45Speaker 2: Like that already has it's it already has the you
- 42:48Speaker 2: know right, you're you're starting from the blueprint. Yeah, Like
- 42:52Speaker 2: we were building our blueprints so that way, like if
- 42:54Speaker 2: we want to do another location, we already got the blueprint.
- 42:57Speaker 3: We can already you know. But it's like we we're
- 43:00Speaker 3: that's why we want.
- 43:01Speaker 2: We want to people when they do see it, when
- 43:03Speaker 2: they do open it, they're gonna be like wow, like no,
- 43:05Speaker 2: I get it, we see it now.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:08Speaker 3: So but it's just it's taking a lot of like
- 43:10Speaker 3: prep work.
- 43:11Speaker 4: Yeah, well you're ensuring success.
- 43:13Speaker 2: I'm so excited for It's just like on the way
- 43:15Speaker 2: over here, the amount of times that people all see
- 43:17Speaker 2: like they're like, so, why sandwiches, as if it's the
- 43:19Speaker 2: most obscure thing ever, And I'm just like, do you
- 43:22Speaker 2: do you not like sandwiches? Like no, I love sandwiches,
- 43:24Speaker 2: like exactly, Like I'm not opening up a magic shop
- 43:26Speaker 2: like like that would be weird. I would expect people
- 43:30Speaker 2: to like ask about that. But it's like this, people
- 43:32Speaker 2: eat sandwiches like every every day, like multiple times a week.
- 43:35Speaker 3: Like it's again like.
- 43:37Speaker 1: It's like that is very true. It's like not some
- 43:40Speaker 1: like wow.
- 43:43Speaker 2: Like sock socks and socks like that, Like it's it's
- 43:47Speaker 2: a sandwich shop, like it's epic, like like I don't know,
- 43:50Speaker 2: it's like coffee shop. But yeah, like I mean I
- 43:53Speaker 2: guess would it be It's like more surprising if I
- 43:56Speaker 2: was opening a magic shop.
- 43:57Speaker 3: I don't know, but like I.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Think it would be rising if you were opening up
- 44:01Speaker 1: like a witchery shop, it would be like definitely.
- 44:04Speaker 2: Okay, I guess because it's like you don't look at
- 44:06Speaker 2: me think like sandwiches. But it's like sandwiches aren't that obscure.
- 44:09Speaker 2: It's just like I'm not opening up a restaurant and
- 44:12Speaker 2: like because that's that's a full scale thing. That's that
- 44:14Speaker 2: is a massive und of taking sandwiches Like it's easier.
- 44:17Speaker 1: It's what I want to do every day is go
- 44:18Speaker 1: to a cute sandwich shop and chill and have like
- 44:21Speaker 1: an iced tea, yeah a lemon, right, And so so.
- 44:25Speaker 2: Why wouldn't I want to like open that and like
- 44:27Speaker 2: be like, feel like I'm like the main character of
- 44:29Speaker 2: a rom com.
- 44:30Speaker 1: I don't know. I think you're a genius.
- 44:32Speaker 4: Okay, so Jay Felix six seven nine to two Ladies
- 44:37Speaker 4: tips for dating in your thirties with like a oh, this.
- 44:40Speaker 1: Is a great one. What are your tips?
- 44:43Speaker 2: Have fun and don't take it too seriously. I think,
- 44:46Speaker 2: like you don't have to be out there trying to
- 44:49Speaker 2: find you know, your husband or your partner. I think
- 44:53Speaker 2: date all ages, age changes, like honestly, like no, I
- 45:00Speaker 2: I think it's just indulging in those things to make
- 45:03Speaker 2: you know, just I don't know. I think I think
- 45:06Speaker 2: thirties are seuch like an interesting and cool and special
- 45:09Speaker 2: time in your life, right, and I think while dating
- 45:13Speaker 2: you should kind of honor and explore like this time.
- 45:16Speaker 2: And I think so and I think just having fun, Yeah,
- 45:21Speaker 2: I think that's just I don't know.
- 45:23Speaker 1: I agree, like thirties is okay, basically twenties. You know,
- 45:28Speaker 1: Kim K made it cool to be in your forties.
- 45:30Speaker 1: Jlo made it cool to be in your fifties. Like,
- 45:32Speaker 1: I can't wait for all stages of life, but like, honestly,
- 45:35Speaker 1: just go out and have fun, like Katie said, don't
- 45:38Speaker 1: take it too seriously, don't worry about the age I
- 45:41Speaker 1: think you go out. I will say I think you
- 45:44Speaker 1: protect yourself at the beginning. Don't give up too much
- 45:47Speaker 1: too quickly. Let the other person do all of the talking,
- 45:51Speaker 1: you know, kind of keep a little bit guarded. Start
- 45:54Speaker 1: making your notes because if there's anything that you see
- 45:57Speaker 1: that's not really working out, you want to be able
- 45:59Speaker 1: to like go And even though you're not taking it
- 46:01Speaker 1: too seriously, you still want to enjoy yourself. And if
- 46:03Speaker 1: there's little things you're seeing where it's like this would
- 46:05Speaker 1: never work, don't waste your time going out again.
- 46:08Speaker 2: Well, I mean going on dating is not necessarily like okay,
- 46:11Speaker 2: well is this.
- 46:12Speaker 3: Gonna be a relationship?
- 46:13Speaker 2: Like treated as like you might never see the person again,
- 46:16Speaker 2: So just enjoy it.
- 46:17Speaker 1: But babe, most people are going out and they're dating
- 46:19Speaker 1: because they're looking for their life partners.
- 46:20Speaker 2: Well, I know, but if that happens, then great, Like
- 46:23Speaker 2: it's either gonna happen or it's not. So just enjoy
- 46:26Speaker 2: the moment totally. Like stressing about it, is it gonna
- 46:29Speaker 2: change it? You know? Like if they're gonna call you,
- 46:32Speaker 2: they're gonna call you.
- 46:33Speaker 1: I also think they're gonna call you if they're gonna
- 46:35Speaker 1: call you, even if you let him hit the first night. Yeah,
- 46:38Speaker 1: you know, like they just are like men.
- 46:41Speaker 2: Are very simple in that sense.
- 46:43Speaker 3: If they like you, they like you.
- 46:45Speaker 2: If they don't, they don't. And I don't think like
- 46:48Speaker 2: how things go down is gonna factor into that.
- 46:51Speaker 1: Yeah. I actually think it's like the universe intervening. If
- 46:54Speaker 1: you sleep with him and he doesn't call again, it's like, well,
- 46:55Speaker 1: I'm glad that that one was checked off the list
- 46:58Speaker 1: and crossed off at the same.
- 47:00Speaker 2: Time, move on, you know, at least you got a
- 47:02Speaker 2: good lay onto the next hopefully.
- 47:05Speaker 3: Oh, I don't know.
- 47:06Speaker 1: All right. My question for you is what are you
- 47:10Speaker 1: most excited for people to see this season that we
- 47:13Speaker 1: know is coming up that hasn't aired yet. A moment
- 47:15Speaker 1: that you don't tell too much about. Mine's tonight in
- 47:20Speaker 1: the hotel room in Vegas. Oh god, I've been looking
- 47:24Speaker 1: forward to this, zactly.
- 47:25Speaker 2: Yeah, this one is this is like this episode tonight
- 47:29Speaker 2: is pretty good.
- 47:31Speaker 3: I think it might be next week.
- 47:33Speaker 2: Oh no, Lola, Yeah, Lala meets a guy.
- 47:40Speaker 3: That one's really good.
- 47:41Speaker 2: And then also I think, oh my god, there's so
- 47:45Speaker 2: much I think I'm also kind of like forgetting some things.
- 47:48Speaker 2: I think I kind of turn a corner too, Like
- 47:51Speaker 2: I think you're saying like angry Katie a lot because
- 47:54Speaker 2: I'm pissed off of people, but I think I kind
- 47:56Speaker 2: of just yeah, I don't know, what do you think?
- 47:59Speaker 1: I've said it in a million in one podcast that
- 48:02Speaker 1: I am so excited for to just like watch you.
- 48:06Speaker 1: I'll be honest. I had to go back and watch
- 48:08Speaker 1: episodes one through five again because I fast forward through
- 48:13Speaker 1: anything that has to do with the Toms, Like if
- 48:15Speaker 1: a Tom appears in a scene, I'm fast forwarding it, yeah,
- 48:18Speaker 1: because it's so boring. But now I have to watch
- 48:21Speaker 1: because I need to know what they're saying and I
- 48:23Speaker 1: need to see behavior. But no, your storyline I'm so
- 48:29Speaker 1: excited for. I cannot wait for it. And the whole
- 48:32Speaker 1: reason I'm most excited for tonight's episode is because of
- 48:35Speaker 1: the way the things that you said. It's is very,
- 48:39Speaker 1: very amazing. Kitty's a fucking savage anyway, I love you, Maloney.
- 48:45Speaker 1: Thank you for doing my podcast today.
- 48:47Speaker 3: I love you. Thanks for having me.
- 48:48Speaker 2: Well, I'll come back next week and weeks talk about
- 48:49Speaker 2: all thanks were going to talk about yay.
- 48:51Speaker 1: I can't wait, all right, my loves. Thank you so
- 48:53Speaker 1: much for listening to another episode of The Give Them
