God, we are asking today for a touch from you.

Lord, we're asking for healing from on high over our broken

bodies. Lord, I pray God for prodigals

to return and marriages to be restored.

Lord, I pray for cancer to dissolve.

God, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Lord, I pray that Alzheimer's and dementia will leave in the

mighty name of Jesus. God, give us a sound mind.

Father, I pray in the name of Jesus for broken bodies to be

healed. Lord, I pray in the name of

Jesus for limbs to regenerate. God, I pray in the name of Jesus

for the blind to see and the deaf to hear.

God, I pray in the name of Jesus that there will be many who come

Father, we are asking God that you will direct our steps today.

Let us not hold on to this world or the things of this world.

God, we desire to come up and out of this world.

God, we want to be where you are, Lord, in the holiest of

holy places. God, we want to dine and Sup

with you and receive from you. God, we want our marching orders

from you. We want our dignity from you.

idol worship. We kick down all of the vanity,

we kick down all of the selfishness, Lord, and we want

be with you, Lord, forevermore. And Lord, while we wait, help us

to wait well and not grow despondent and discouraged.

Help us not to be lazy, God help us not to just sit on our

blessed assurance on the sidelines, God, but help us to

Lord, to stay away from sexual immorality.

God help us to stay away from all of the wrath and the malice

and the discord and the deceit. God help us not to be lying and

worshippers of self and money and vanity.

God, I pray that we will not be lovers of self and lovers of

pleasure and lovers of money and disobedient little children to

our parents. God, I pray in the name of Jesus

This is the third time I'm coming to you.

In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be

established. So Paul is saying here, listen,

you better get it right because I'm coming to you a third time

and I've already came to you once and corrected you, come to

you again and corrected you. And this is the third and final

time before I make a decision. And this is the way of God.

He says, warn A divisive person once and then warn them again

and then after that have nothing to do with them.

For you can be sure that they are warped and self condemned.

And it's OK for us not to throw our pearls amongst swine.

And here Paul is giving a very stern warning and saying, I do

not want to have to come to you in a corrective manner.

I would rather come to you and exhort you and to build you up

and edify you. I don't want to have to come and

speak hard truths to you. I would rather you repent and

turn from those things now prior to the coming to I told you

before and I foretell you as if I were present the second time

and being absent now I write to them which here to for have

sinned, and to all other that if I come again I will not spare.

So he's writing to those who are sinning and refusing to repent.

It is not just sinning that gets us in trouble, friends, it is

whenever we do not see any wrong in the sin that we're doing.

That is a sure sign of a reprobate mind, of someone who

will not acknowledge sin as that.

A sure sign of a person who's filled with the Holy Ghost will
8:55
have conviction in their life, and it will prick their heart
8:58
when they sin. Not if, but when a person sins,

because we will. But when you sin, the Holy
9:07
Spirit will convict you. But here's the problem.

We sear our conscience and we grieve the Spirit.

He becomes silent in your life. This is the ones that Paul is

giving counsel to here in this section and he's saying listen,

cultivate and break up the fallow ground and allow the Holy

Spirit to spark, to start whispering his still small voice

again. You have become calloused.

You are not hearing from the Word of God because you see no

problem with the sinfulness that you've allowed in.

And you actually not only accept sin as OK, but you are

propagating it amongst those in the congregations and you're

teaching others to be twice the sons of hell that you are.

And that is what we need to be on guard about, friends, is we

cannot use our liberty for an occasion to sin.

All the more far be it from us If someone is using grace as a

means to sin, That is someone who does not have the heart of

God. Because if you are operating in

the spirit of grace, you know that all your sins are covered

by the blood of Jesus Christ and not one of them are counted
10:51
against you on the Day of Judgment.

But you will not abuse grace. Someone who abuses grace is

someone who is not connected with God Almighty, and they will

not be spared. Three, since you seek a proof of

Christ speaking in me, which to you word is not weak, but is

mighty in you. So here the Corinthians were

wanting proof that Paul was speaking for Christ and not just

speaking his own vain imaginations and his own
11:29
doctrine and his own ways that he would desire for people to

behave. He's saying, since you seek the
11:39
proof that Christ is speaking through me.

For for though He was crucified through weakness, yet He lives
11:51
by the power of God. For we also are weak in Him, but
11:56
we shall live with Him by the power of God towards you.

So Paul is saying, this is all the proof that you need.

It is in the infirmities, the whippings and the lashings.

It is in the hunger, it is in the fastings, it is in the

robbers, it is in the persecution by his own

countrymen that proves that Christ is in Him, speaking

through Him. Five, Examine yourselves,

whether you be in the faith, prove your own selves, know you

not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except

you be reprobates. He's saying make sure that you
12:44
know that you know that you know that you know that Jesus Christ

lives in you. And we can have this blessed

assurance. We can have the 100% confidence

that Christ is in us by placing our faith in the Lord Jesus

Christ and by being filled with the Holy Ghost and by

recommitting our life to Him every single day.

It's not a question of have you ever been saved?

The question is, are you now following after Him?

Friends, we cannot just go back to a time in the camp whenever
13:33
we were on a spiritual high and we got dunked in some water and
13:37
we walked a little aisle and we had a prayer that we were to
13:42
pray. That is not salvation, friends.

Salvation is being filled with the Holy Ghost by placing your
13:50
faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as the all sufficient sacrifice
13:56
that it is not by works that you were saved.

Friends, it is only by being covered in the blood of Jesus

Christ. And Paul here is saying, make

sure that you have eternal salvation and that you have the
14:14
assurance that if you were to die today, you would know where
14:18
you would spend eternity. And if you do not have that
14:21
assurance, give your life over to the Lord today.

Even if you've given it over to Him 100 times, give it over to
14:30
him today. And if He gives you tomorrow,
14:32
give it over to Him tomorrow. And for however many years
14:36
you're alive on this earth, friends, keep recommitting your
14:40
life to Him. Every morning, every afternoon,
14:44
and every evening, we recommit our lives to Him to make sure
14:49
that we're not off track. We haven't seared our
14:52
consciences, friends. We do not receive this reprobate
14:56
mind, Friends, we do not want God to give us over to the
15:00
reprobate minds by crawling off the altar.

We are to stay on the altar, friends, as a living sacrifice,
15:08
every single day of every single month of every single year that
15:15
we have left until his blessed return, or until he calls us
15:19
home by and by. 6 But I trust that you shall know that we are
15:28
not reprobates. So Paul here should not have to
15:34
try to prove his worthiness, his trustfulness.

He should not have to prove his authority.

But he's saying, listen, you need to check yourselves and

then you will know that once you are truly walking in the Spirit

of God, He will confirm in you as one spirit and the Holy

Spirit deep cause to deep. The Holy Spirit will reveal to

you who is walking in the Spirit and it will be real.

It will be revealed to you in Word and in deed.

Friends, not just with our mouth, not just with trying to
16:16
speak as we know we ought, but to actually see it being lived

out in a life, friends, is the mark.

That is how we know who belongs to Him.

And the Holy Spirit will confirm to you their spirit, and your
16:31
spirit will confirm within each other who it truly belongs to
16:36
God. And we need to be on guard,

friends for those who sure look the part, but they are not
16:42
operating within the fullness that God has.

And they are ravenous wolves and sheep clothing.

They are reprobates, and God has given them over to that
16:55
reprobate mind. 7 Now I pray to God that you do no evil, not

that we should appear approved, but that you should do that
17:09
which is honest. Though we be as reprobates, our
17:14
sinfulness and God's holiness is such a chasm that only one could
17:21
ever cross that divide Jesus Christ.

We cannot save ourselves and in comparison to God's holiness, we

are just unprofitable servants and we have only done that which
17:41
was our duty to do, friends. And Paul here is showing them

they need to abstain from all evil, and that they should be
17:52
honest in all their dealings, and they will be not only
17:56
approved by man, but approved by God, and not counted as

reprobates. 8 For we can do no thing against the truth, but for
18:08
the truth, and Jesus Christ is the truth.

Friends, there is no honesty, decency, there is no good in
18:16
this world apart from our Lord Jesus Christ.

He is the standard, He is the highest and loftiest in all the

land and we set our eyes on Him and then every fruit that we

bear is because we are connected to Him.

Friends, there is no truth outside of Jesus Christ.

He is the truth and the way and the life, and no one comes unto

the Father except through Him. 94 We are glad when we are weak

and you are strong, and this also we wish even your
18:59
perfection. That's what Paul is after for

the Corinthians. He desires for them to be made

perfect in Christ and it is through humiliation, humility,

being humbled friends, that we are exalted and lifted up.

Friends. But when you exalt yourself and

you walk around, walk around and pride, when you walk around in

your selfish motivations and vanity, you will be brought low

10 times out of 10100% of the time.

Friends, it never works any other way.

You show me somebody who is puffed up and operating in their

carnal, worldly ways, and I will show you somebody who is heading

into a valley of despair. You show me somebody who's being

spilled out daily, who is given up on money and given up on
19:50
selfish vanity and given up on all the systems of the world.

And I will show you somebody who is sold out to the King of Kings
19:58
and the Lord of Lords that God wants to use mightily in this

world. And therefore I write these

things being absent, lest being present, I should use sharpness

according to the power which the Lord has given me to edification

and not to destruction. So that is what Paul wants the
20:21
Corinthians to know, and that is what Paul wants us to know.

And he has written about this subject twice now here in Second
20:28
Corinthians, that all of the Apostolic authority that he has

been given is not for the lording over the masses as the

Gentile would have to do, but it is for the building up of the

Saints, friends. It is for the edifying.

It is for the comfort and the exhortation, friends.

That is what Paul's desire is for the Corinthians not to break

them down. If you find a leader who uses
20:55
charisma and uses his authority to break others down, then that

is not an true apostle and a true minister of the Word of

God. That is somebody that is

manipulating God's word for their own selfish desires and
21:14
selfish motives. Friends, stay away from people
21:20
like that. They will lead you down places
21:23
that you never thought that you would ever go into, the most
21:27
debased levels of sacrilegious, the most base levels of
21:36
blasphemy that you have ever even seen in this world.

They are leading so many people off in droves to this heresy and
21:48
apostasy that God foretold us about long ago.

And it will happen exactly the way that it is written.

But we do not need to be those that are caught off guard.

We do not need to be those that are beguiled.

We do not need to be those that are LED astray.

We do not need to be those with reprobate minds.

We do not need to be those that are LED off into the Hellfire of

damnation, of satanic worship, shrouded in things that have

Christian connotations. Far be it from us, we are called

to be ecclesia, the called out ones, not to be intermingled

into the systems of the world. Friends 11 Finally, brothers,

farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort,
22:48
be of one mind, live in peace, and the God of love and peace

shall be with you. So here is the mark of a true

believer, of somebody who is sold out to the Lord Jesus

Christ. They will be holy because He is

holy, and in that they will find the perfection that God places

upon them that they do not have to fear what is next.

And they can know that they know where they're going to spend

eternity. They will be comforted, friends,

and exhorted by the words of God, seeing that everything that

is written in the Word of God is actually happening exactly the
23:27
way that He told them that it would.

And they can see it when they actually get their nose in the
23:32
book and they study the good book, and they can see all of it

is comforting the promises of God.

These are not rules, friends. This is not God just trying to
23:41
steal away all of our joy, friends.

He desires for us to live the abundant life.

And He will comfort us through the entire scriptures when we

see Jesus Christ getting laid on every line and every precept,

friends. And we can see it.

He wants us to be of one mind, not to be divisive and not to

sow seeds of discord and not to go into camps and try to divide

people and to try to stir up all these emotions of jealousy and

strife and anger. Friends, we need to be of one
24:18
mind and 1 accord, the mind of Christ.

He is not the author of confusion and chaos.

He is given us a sound mind and he has given us the ability to

come together. Friends, in one spirit, in one
24:33
mind. We should live in peace with

each other at all cost. Friends, we need to make sure

that we're not the ones that are warring against others, that we,

yes, we defend ourselves in a strongman armed keepeth his
24:48
house, but we need to live at peace and live in peace friends.

That is what God has called us to.

And if it comes, if war comes, we do not wish it upon

ourselves, but God will be there with us in the fight.

But at the meantime and in between time, it is peace that

he has called us into. And we should not desire the
25:10
fight. We should not desire to be at
25:14
war with our brothers and sisters, friends and God.

It will have a representative from every nation, every people

group, every tongue, every creed, every continent will be

there with us. Don't forget it.

And the God of love and peace shall be with you.

That is what God promises us, that He will be with us.

He will not forsake us. He will never leave us friends

and we get connected with Him and find that peace with God

through His Son Jesus Christ and we can't even know love without

him. God is love.

There is no love or anything that has love in it without God

friends and that is what you need to understand.

What the world calls love is just lust.

Friends, we love because we were first loved and God loved us

even while we were sinning as such as some of you were.

And that is what you need to understand that God is the only

one that can teach you what love truly is. 12 Greet one another

with a holy kiss. 13 All the Saints salute you, and we'll end

on 14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God

and the communion of the Holy Ghost be with you all.

You see the Trinity displayed God the Father, God the Son, and

We can see the fellowship that God desires for us to have

amongst each other and we need to not only just be 1 anothering

the ekklesi of the called out ones, but we need to be going

out and calling those to salvation.

And we need to have a heart for those that are still stuck in

sin. They don't need to just

marginalized them or think that they are lost without hope.

If there's breath in their lungs, there's still hope for

them. And the worst wicked person can

receive eternal life and be welcomed into eternity with God

Almighty through His Son Jesus Christ.

The only definitive marker for somebody of where they're going

to spend eternity happens after they take their last breath.

There is no more hope, there's no purgatory, and there's no

praying people and getting baptized for the dead and

praying them out of hell. It doesn't work that way.

Today is the day of salvation. Put your faith in the Lord Jesus

Christ today and share your testimony with somebody today

and invite them into a relationship.

You do not have to be trained in order to lead people into a

relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

You just need to extend the offer.

God knows their heart and their mind, and God can place the Holy

Spirit inside of those people. And that is where discipleship

comes in, friends. And we need to be people who are

passionate about discipleship. Not just spreading the seed, but

actually watering it as well. But don't forget that God is the

one who gives the growth. I hope you've been blessed by

this chapter. I know I sure have.

What an amazing time we've had with these carnal Christians,

these Corinthians. We've learned so much about the

infancy of our faith, of what it looks like at the very bottom

tier. And from here, we can only build
