- 30:13James Bueno, were arrested on Tuesday as 24 and 28,
- 30:17respectively, and they face charges including conspiracy to
- 30:21commit wire fraud, wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money
- 30:24laundering. And if convicted, each brother
- 30:27could face up to 20 years in prison for each count, The
- 30:30indictment details that the alleged scheme began in December

- 31:06And the brothers alleged that he set up a network of Ethereum
- 31:08validators using shell companies and foreign exchanges to conceal
- 31:12their identities. This allowed them to manipulate
- 31:15the transaction process, reordering blocks to their
- 31:18advantage and recapturing the cryptocurrency intended for
- 31:21others. And when victims realized their
- 31:23funds have been stolen, they requested returns.
- 31:26But the brothers reportedly refused and took steps to hide
- 31:29their illicit gains. This included creating shell
- 31:31companies and using private cryptocurrency addresses and
- 31:34foreign exchanges that lack stringent Know Your Customer
