- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice. Hello wallow, Allow Allow, Welcome to the Naughty but
- 0:17Speaker 1: Nice Show. It's Thursday, and I am your host, Rob Shooter.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Our dear friend Mark Lupo is off today, so don't worry, naughties.
- 0:24Speaker 1: It's just us. It's just us. But we've got so
- 0:27Speaker 1: much celebrity gossip to get to we can fill the
- 0:31Speaker 1: next twenty minutes up with all this steaming heart dish.
- 0:36Speaker 1: What time is it, my friends, It is teatime. I
- 0:39Speaker 1: hope your singing along with me. I love it when
- 0:42Speaker 1: you participate, particularly when it's just us. A big story
- 0:46Speaker 1: at the top of the show. Dave Chappelle was tackled
- 0:49Speaker 1: while performing on stage at the Hollywood Bowl. Comedian Dave
- 0:53Speaker 1: Chappelle was attacked while performing in Los Angeles. Video shows
- 0:59Speaker 1: a man and rushing rushing on the stage and tackling
- 1:03Speaker 1: the performer to the ground during a Netflix comedy special
- 1:08Speaker 1: that he was performing at. So the attacker gets up
- 1:12Speaker 1: and tries to run off stage before he is caught
- 1:15Speaker 1: and tackled himself by security and members of Dave's team.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Video footage of the incidents is actually quite sparse because
- 1:25Speaker 1: guests had to put their mobile phones away they were
- 1:28Speaker 1: they were not supposed to be filming the performance at all.
- 1:31Speaker 1: The Hollywood Bowl website indicates I had a look that
- 1:34Speaker 1: attendees had to secure their phones in these devices that
- 1:37Speaker 1: allowed them to keep their phones with them, but sealed
- 1:40Speaker 1: them off so they couldn't be used. They could only
- 1:42Speaker 1: be accessed from really designated phone use areas inside the venue,
- 1:48Speaker 1: But that did not stop a few people getting some
- 1:50Speaker 1: footage that he's up on Naughty gossip dot com. The
- 1:53Speaker 1: few snippets that we got to see, Dave appears to
- 1:57Speaker 1: be largely unhurt, thankfully, and he quickly quickly regained his
- 2:01Speaker 1: composure after the attack. He went on to say something
- 2:05Speaker 1: not right. He said, was that a trans man. In
- 2:09Speaker 1: the past, he's been very controversial, making frequent jokes about
- 2:14Speaker 1: transgender people, and once again he reached there after the attack.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Also joining him on stage shortly after this was Chris Rock.
- 2:25Speaker 1: You'll remember that Chris just got attacked himself at the Oscars. Chris,
- 2:30Speaker 1: who doesn't miss a beat. He was quick to add
- 2:33Speaker 1: quote was that Will Smith. So lots going on here,
- 2:38Speaker 1: which brings us to our poll question of the day.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Dave Chappelle was tackled while performing on stage. At the
- 2:44Speaker 1: Hollywood Bowl? Is Will Smith to blame for this? A
- 2:48Speaker 1: lot of comedians don't feel safe at the moment I
- 2:50Speaker 1: hit the phones. I spoke to lots of comedians, some
- 2:53Speaker 1: really big ones too, and they said security in most venues,
- 2:56Speaker 1: comedy venues is now being increased. People are scared. They said,
- 3:01Speaker 1: what happens now if they tell a joke that somebody
- 3:04Speaker 1: doesn't like, is that person going to try and be
- 3:06Speaker 1: the next Will Smith and get on stage and slap them?
- 3:09Speaker 1: Has this become a thing now? Is slapping a comedian cool?
- 3:13Speaker 1: If you don't like what they're saying, you can get
- 3:15Speaker 1: up and become Will Smith for ten ten minutes or so.
- 3:18Speaker 1: So people are really concerned about this, which and that's
- 3:20Speaker 1: why we're asking you today. What do you think is
- 3:22Speaker 1: Will Smith to blame for all of this? Go vote
- 3:26Speaker 1: on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Ramba or our
- 3:30Speaker 1: Facebook page is Naughty Gossip. You can leave a comment
- 3:32Speaker 1: there and be sure to check back tomorrow. So the
- 3:36Speaker 1: trial of Johnny and Amber Heard continues, but her testimony
- 3:41Speaker 1: pretty much took apart the myth of Johnny depth. So
- 3:45Speaker 1: after a few days of smirking and joking, Johnny is
- 3:49Speaker 1: not laughing anymore. Amber recounted the moments when she was
- 3:54Speaker 1: in a trailer and Johnny ripped off her dress, he
- 3:57Speaker 1: grabbed her breast. She alleges he also tore her underwear,
- 4:01Speaker 1: and she said while testifying, he proceeded to do a
- 4:05Speaker 1: cavity search. He said he was looking for drugs, his cocaine,
- 4:10Speaker 1: and he shoved his fingers inside Amber is what she
- 4:13Speaker 1: claimed on the stand. He twisted them around. She added,
- 4:18Speaker 1: now her testimony is beyond damage, and she seems really composed,
- 4:22Speaker 1: and she seems to be giving numerous, numerous detailed examples
- 4:27Speaker 1: of Johnny's abuse. She even went on to testify that
- 4:30Speaker 1: when Johnny's fourteen year old daughter at the time, Lily Rose,
- 4:34Speaker 1: was around them, she got so scared about her father's
- 4:37Speaker 1: behavior and had a panic attack and fled his private
- 4:41Speaker 1: island on a helicopter with Amber, she said the following quote,
- 4:45Speaker 1: there's no off button with Johnny. She said he'd been
- 4:49Speaker 1: drinking a lot in front of the children and her
- 4:52Speaker 1: sneaking boos in coffee cups into the has Johnny has
- 4:57Speaker 1: admitted to using drugs with his good friend Marilyn Man
- 5:00Speaker 1: Concerned who we should point out there's a guy who
- 5:02Speaker 1: has been accused of multiple cases of sexual assault himself.
- 5:07Speaker 1: So Amber went on to testify that Johnny was so
- 5:10Speaker 1: angry about the debt he was in that he had
- 5:12Speaker 1: to force his yacht to J. K. Rowling, who wrote
- 5:15Speaker 1: Harry Potter. She said he would get so so mad.
- 5:19Speaker 1: He said quote that she was an embarrassment and she
- 5:23Speaker 1: made him feel sick. She went on to detail that
- 5:27Speaker 1: he would spend days and days locked up in her house, smoking,
- 5:31Speaker 1: drinking wine, listening to music, and then he would disappear
- 5:35Speaker 1: for weeks at a time, no word, and then always
- 5:37Speaker 1: returned saying that he had changed his life and begging
- 5:41Speaker 1: for forgiveness. She talked about him even holding up a
- 5:44Speaker 1: small dog once out of the window of a moving car.
- 5:49Speaker 1: It seems that Amber really wants to move on with
- 5:51Speaker 1: her life, but Johnny keeps dragging her into courtrooms, is
- 5:55Speaker 1: what she is claiming. This trial is going to go
- 5:57Speaker 1: on and on and on. I think at this point
- 6:00Speaker 1: they both destroyed one another's careers, if not each other.
- 6:04Speaker 1: This story is explosive. Ray J is finally speaking out
- 6:09Speaker 1: about the sex tape with Kim Kardashian, and he claims
- 6:13Speaker 1: that both Kim and yes, her mommy, Chris Jenna, We're
- 6:18Speaker 1: in on the whole league. So he's claiming that Kim,
- 6:22Speaker 1: Chris Jenna, her mom, and himself all partnered together in
- 6:26Speaker 1: the release of the two thousand and seven sex tape.
- 6:28Speaker 1: He said, quote, I'd never leak anything. I've never leaked
- 6:33Speaker 1: any sex tape in my life. It has never been
- 6:36Speaker 1: a leak. He told that to The Daily Mail in
- 6:38Speaker 1: an explosive interview. He went on to add that he
- 6:41Speaker 1: struck a deal, a partnership with Chris Jenna and Kim,
- 6:45Speaker 1: and they were partners since the very beginning in this thing.
- 6:49Speaker 1: He claimed that he actually did encourage Kim to release
- 6:52Speaker 1: a sex tape after he saw her close friend Paris
- 6:56Speaker 1: Hilton's career explode. It took off after her sex tape
- 7:00Speaker 1: was released. Now they dated on and off between two
- 7:03Speaker 1: thousand and three and two thousand and six. He alleged
- 7:06Speaker 1: that Kim got her mom to give the tape to
- 7:09Speaker 1: Vivid Entertainment, and then they all signed a three way
- 7:13Speaker 1: contract to release the first tape they made in Cabo.
- 7:16Speaker 1: He goes on to say there are more than one tape.
- 7:19Speaker 1: He said, I've sat in the shadows for over fourteen years,
- 7:22Speaker 1: allowing the Kardashians to use my name and abuse my name,
- 7:27Speaker 1: making billions of dollars over a decade and a half,
- 7:30Speaker 1: talking about a topic that I've never really spoken about.
- 7:33Speaker 1: That's true, ray J never speaks about this. He went
- 7:37Speaker 1: on to say that rumors that he leaked the tape
- 7:40Speaker 1: is the quote biggest lie in the industry in the
- 7:43Speaker 1: history of entertainment. He said he never ever had the
- 7:47Speaker 1: tape at his house. He goes on to claim that
- 7:49Speaker 1: Kim always had the tapes and she even kept them
- 7:52Speaker 1: in a Nike shoe box, a Nike shoe box under
- 7:57Speaker 1: her bed, so he could never leak them because he
- 7:59Speaker 1: did have them. He went on to show some TMS
- 8:02Speaker 1: between him and Kim and lots of other backup evidence,
- 8:06Speaker 1: and he concluded by saying he felt suicidal because he
- 8:09Speaker 1: was heartbroken, just heartbroken to watch this family create an
- 8:14Speaker 1: empire on a lie. Oh. Now, for a long time
- 8:20Speaker 1: there was rumors that Kim and even her mom participated
- 8:24Speaker 1: in the money the sales of the sex tape, and
- 8:27Speaker 1: now ray J is saying that is absolutely totally true,
- 8:32Speaker 1: and not just that Kim had the tapes. They were
- 8:36Speaker 1: never leaked. It was not an accident. This was put together,
- 8:40Speaker 1: manipulated thoughts about and done to enhance her career. Wow,
- 8:47Speaker 1: I wonder how they feel now about lending Kim that
- 8:51Speaker 1: Marilyn Monroe dress mowing along So Pink, I love Pink.
- 8:55Speaker 1: She's so honest. She's talking now about how she really
- 8:59Speaker 1: suffered with the storeful panic attacks when she was in
- 9:02Speaker 1: her early twenties and saying it was just terrifying. She's
- 9:06Speaker 1: opening up about her mental health struggles to remind people
- 9:10Speaker 1: young people out there that if they have similar issues,
- 9:13Speaker 1: that it does get better. In honor of Mental Health
- 9:16Speaker 1: Awareness Month, the singer is encouraging kids to talk about
- 9:20Speaker 1: their own mental health struggles. We all have them. In
- 9:22Speaker 1: Pink is saying that if we talk about them, it
- 9:25Speaker 1: does help. And a really candid video on her Instagram account,
- 9:29Speaker 1: Pink talked about suffering debilitating panic attacks in her twenties.
- 9:34Speaker 1: She said she used to get the most awful attacks
- 9:37Speaker 1: and she didn't know what was happening. I didn't have
- 9:39Speaker 1: anyone to talk to about it, and I didn't know
- 9:41Speaker 1: what was going on. She adds, I would feel like
- 9:44Speaker 1: I was having a stroke, like a stroke symptoms and
- 9:48Speaker 1: it was terrifying. People I know who suffer with panic
- 9:51Speaker 1: attacks say the same shortness of breath. They can't move
- 9:56Speaker 1: their frozen. She went on to say that writing songs
- 9:59Speaker 1: has actually really helped her, writing songs, writing poetry, and
- 10:03Speaker 1: expressing herself. Exercise helps, she said, and also eating healthy
- 10:07Speaker 1: and and cooking is like meditation. To Pink, she said,
- 10:11Speaker 1: things got so bad and actually drive to the hospital
- 10:13Speaker 1: and she would sit in her car in the emergency
- 10:16Speaker 1: room parking lot until she felt better, or she would
- 10:20Speaker 1: go into the hospital. Wow, Pink, this is really powerful.
- 10:25Speaker 1: You are going to change lives, hey, quickly before we
- 10:28Speaker 1: get a break. Cardie b is talking out about fame,
- 10:31Speaker 1: saying that it's a curse, a curse to be as
- 10:35Speaker 1: famous as she is. So she previously has said that
- 10:38Speaker 1: fame is kind of boring, but now the Grammy winner
- 10:41Speaker 1: is saying she actually hates it. In fact, she feels
- 10:45Speaker 1: cursed with fame. The mother of two wishes that she
- 10:48Speaker 1: could go back to her old life before she blew up.
- 10:52Speaker 1: She blew up in two thousand and sixteen, and she said, quote,
- 10:56Speaker 1: I really hate it. Let me tell you something, If
- 11:00Speaker 1: you ever wish to be rich and famous, don't wish
- 11:02Speaker 1: to be famous rich, wish to be rich. She said,
- 11:06Speaker 1: God really cursed me with fame, because fame is just
- 11:09Speaker 1: like God. I hated here, and she said if she
- 11:13Speaker 1: could click her heels three times and go back to
- 11:16Speaker 1: two thousand and thirteen when she was just a regular
- 11:19Speaker 1: girl dancing and making money, she would do it in
- 11:23Speaker 1: a second. This is so interesting. I've become a little
- 11:27Speaker 1: bit more famous. I'm no Cardie B, but I like
- 11:30Speaker 1: being famous enough that I can get a good dinner
- 11:32Speaker 1: reservation and maybe a free dessert sent over. I know
- 11:36Speaker 1: some really famous people. You don't want to be famous,
- 11:39Speaker 1: You really don't. Rosie o Donald said that if she
- 11:42Speaker 1: knew what she knew now, she would never have worked
- 11:45Speaker 1: so hard to be this famous. Rosie said she thought
- 11:48Speaker 1: fame would heal her, would meant her broken heart, that
- 11:52Speaker 1: big dark hole inside her, She thought she could fill
- 11:55Speaker 1: it with fame. And she said fame only made things worse.
- 11:59Speaker 1: It does make things better. The spotlight reveals who you are,
- 12:04Speaker 1: it doesn't change you. So if you're a miserable person
- 12:08Speaker 1: and you get famous, you're going to be a miserable
- 12:10Speaker 1: famous person. If you're a happy person and suddenly you're famous,
- 12:14Speaker 1: You'll be a happy famous person. Don't look for anything money, fame,
- 12:19Speaker 1: a partner, a boyfriend, a girlfriend, friends to to change you.
- 12:22Speaker 1: You've got to do that yourself. And so what Cardie
- 12:25Speaker 1: B is saying here I find so so true. If
- 12:29Speaker 1: I could close my eyes and make a wish, I'd
- 12:31Speaker 1: want the money, But I don't want the fame. You
- 12:34Speaker 1: want to be famous enough that you can do a
- 12:36Speaker 1: great podcast and have people listener. And that's exactly how
- 12:40Speaker 1: I feel. I really do. I'm very, very thoughtful about this.
- 12:44Speaker 1: I've thought about it often. If I was on a
- 12:47Speaker 1: game show, if my life was a game shower and
- 12:49Speaker 1: I could hit pause now and walk away with all
- 12:52Speaker 1: these winnings, I would do it. I would not gamble
- 12:54Speaker 1: all this for the billion dollars or all the fame.
- 12:57Speaker 1: I think Cardi B is just us to right. Honestly,
- 13:01Speaker 1: I've met a lot of famous people. It's not fun,
- 13:05Speaker 1: it is not firm. Hey, let's take a quick break
- 13:07Speaker 1: and we will beat right. Welcome back to the naughty
- 13:14Speaker 1: But now I am your how strong? Shed Dear friend
- 13:16Speaker 1: Mark Lupo is off today, but let's get to the
- 13:18Speaker 1: polls that da DA last show we talked about Kim Kardashian,
- 13:22Speaker 1: who was determined to fit in the Marilyn Monroe iconic
- 13:27Speaker 1: dress for the Met Gala, so determined that she lost
- 13:30Speaker 1: sixteen pounds in three weeks. That cannot be healthy. Was
- 13:33Speaker 1: it worth it? Let's have a look. Oh said no,
- 13:36Speaker 1: it was not worth it. I'm with you. Sixteen pounds
- 13:39Speaker 1: in three weeks not a good idea. People are really
- 13:43Speaker 1: suspicious if that is even possible. I spoke to a
- 13:46Speaker 1: couple of nutritionists. First of all, they told me they
- 13:48Speaker 1: didn't think it was possible, and secondly they said, if
- 13:50Speaker 1: it is possible, it certainly is not healthy and you
- 13:54Speaker 1: gain that weight back right away. There's also to a
- 13:57Speaker 1: lot of backlash at the moment in the fashion commune
- 14:00Speaker 1: City about Kim wearing that dress. His story ands fashion,
- 14:03Speaker 1: his stories, which really is what the Met balls about.
- 14:05Speaker 1: It's the Funder Costume Institute are saying she should never
- 14:09Speaker 1: have ever been allowed to wear that dress. Not because
- 14:11Speaker 1: she's Kim or what you think about her, but the
- 14:14Speaker 1: dress is about sixty years old, and any piece of
- 14:17Speaker 1: clothing that old is very fragile. You have to be
- 14:20Speaker 1: really careful with it. There's lots of stress on the
- 14:22Speaker 1: fabric and putting Kim into that dress that she clearly
- 14:25Speaker 1: didn't fit into. They had different shapes. Marilyn Monroe and
- 14:29Speaker 1: Kim Kardashian put unnecessary stress on the dress. And now
- 14:33Speaker 1: what historians are worried about is the other celebrities now
- 14:36Speaker 1: are going to want to borrow dresses, like would we
- 14:39Speaker 1: allow Madonna to wear Princess Diana's wedding dress? Is that fine? No,
- 14:45Speaker 1: it should be in a museum. In the same way
- 14:46Speaker 1: you can't go into the met and borrow a Picasso
- 14:49Speaker 1: and take it home and walk around the street with it.
- 14:51Speaker 1: You're not allowed to do that. These are works of
- 14:55Speaker 1: art and they shouldn't be used as props, particularly by
- 14:59Speaker 1: so lebrities who just want to walk the red carpet. Okay,
- 15:03Speaker 1: I'll get off my soapbox, but don't forget To vote
- 15:06Speaker 1: on today's pole. Go to at Twitter page at Naughty
- 15:10Speaker 1: Nice Rob or a Facebook page naughty and be sure
- 15:14Speaker 1: to check back tomorrow. Hey, let's do our nicest of
- 15:17Speaker 1: the day. And now it's reluctant. Dolly Parton has been
- 15:22Speaker 1: inducted into the Rock and Roll Class of twenty twenty two.
- 15:27Speaker 1: So the Ruck and Roll class of twenty two has
- 15:30Speaker 1: announced that amongst it's inductees will be Dolly part and
- 15:35Speaker 1: she's going to be joined Touran Duran. I love those
- 15:37Speaker 1: Duran Duran was the first record I ever bought when
- 15:40Speaker 1: I was a little boy growing up in Britain. M
- 15:42Speaker 1: and M Lionel Richie, I love him, Carly Simon, I
- 15:45Speaker 1: used to be her publicist for a short time and
- 15:47Speaker 1: also Dolly part And now in March, a month after
- 15:52Speaker 1: this year seventeen nominees were revealed. Dolly shockingly and really
- 15:58Speaker 1: unprecedentally and anounced that with respect she's withdrawing from the
- 16:03Speaker 1: ballot because she didn't feel like she had earned the
- 16:06Speaker 1: right to be considered as a rock artist. Well, the
- 16:09Speaker 1: ballots had already gone out, over a thousand people were voting,
- 16:13Speaker 1: so the whole clarified that it was too late. Dolly,
- 16:15Speaker 1: you couldn't you couldn't remove your name. Now she's gone
- 16:18Speaker 1: on to win. She's changed her tune a little bit,
- 16:20Speaker 1: saying she will respectfully accept the award and he's very
- 16:24Speaker 1: thankful for it and nicest of the day. And now
- 16:27Speaker 1: I'm naughtiest than the day. Nor nor nor nor nor
- 16:30Speaker 1: Wendy Williams. My old friend Wendy is teasing her return
- 16:34Speaker 1: to TV. Wendy is adamant that she will return to
- 16:38Speaker 1: TV this year. So Wendy teased her return, and she
- 16:41Speaker 1: strutted through the streets of New York on her way
- 16:44Speaker 1: to cardi BS after party for the neck Gala. Well,
- 16:47Speaker 1: of course TMZ were there, They're everywhere, and they asked her,
- 16:51Speaker 1: will you be back on TV soon? And she said,
- 16:53Speaker 1: of course. The Wendy Williams show lives on forever. I
- 16:56Speaker 1: believe that that show was groundbreak and it will live
- 16:59Speaker 1: on forever, but now in our memories because it's not
- 17:01Speaker 1: coming back. When to even double down on it saying yes,
- 17:05Speaker 1: she will be back on air in September. Now, that's impossible.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Her networker production company have replaced her with Sherry Shepherd.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Sherry's got the slot, She's got all the clearances. Sherry
- 17:17Speaker 1: has taken over that time slot. So unless there is
- 17:20Speaker 1: another slot that magically opens up between now in September,
- 17:24Speaker 1: I don't think it will. Wendy. There's no slot for you.
- 17:27Speaker 1: It doesn't mean you're not talented, it doesn't mean your
- 17:29Speaker 1: talent has evaporated, but there's no slot it's like a
- 17:33Speaker 1: jigsaw puzzle, and there's no place to put you even
- 17:36Speaker 1: if you are well enough to return. And naughtiest of
- 17:39Speaker 1: the day, Hey, let's end with the moment of rob.
- 17:42Speaker 1: You get a rob. You get a rob? You good rob?
- 17:44Speaker 1: You gooda rob? What do you get? You get a rob?
- 17:46Speaker 1: Thank you very much. So lean into what you once
- 17:49Speaker 1: thought were your imperfections, and what's your past vulnerabilities turn
- 17:54Speaker 1: into your future strength. When I was little, I thought
- 17:58Speaker 1: being gay would mean my ife would never be great,
- 18:01Speaker 1: and I'm wrong being day. What I once thought was
- 18:04Speaker 1: an imperfection actually turned out to be one of my strengths. Also,
- 18:07Speaker 1: to you know about this naughties. When I was born,
- 18:10Speaker 1: my arm was damaged and so it took me a
- 18:13Speaker 1: long time to walk. A lot of people think I
- 18:15Speaker 1: had a stroke on my right side. So I can't
- 18:17Speaker 1: use my right arm. I can't open a doorknob, I
- 18:19Speaker 1: can't press buttons on elevators. My right arm doesn't really
- 18:22Speaker 1: do much at all. I thought that imperfection that was
- 18:27Speaker 1: going to be just so terrible, and you know what,
- 18:30Speaker 1: it actually turned out to be one of the best
- 18:32Speaker 1: things that ever happened to me. All that time, I
- 18:35Speaker 1: spent in hospitals, I learned empathy. I learned to to
- 18:38Speaker 1: be empathetic, and I think that's my superpowers. So once again,
- 18:42Speaker 1: lean into what you think are your imperfections, and instead
- 18:46Speaker 1: of being imperfect, they make you perfect. Hey, that's it
- 18:51Speaker 1: for today, Good Greece. The time flies by when you're gossiping,
- 18:56Speaker 1: doesn't it. So thank you so much for listening. This
- 19:00Speaker 1: is the naught even nice with Rob show, a production
- 19:03Speaker 1: of I Heart Radio. Don't forget to subscribe on the
