- 0:02SPEAKER_00: Well, like what day did when did you get back?
- 0:04SPEAKER_01: I got back into town Monday around three-ish.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: So you were here yesterday.
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: So you you got to experience the best of well, Monday, which was like 70 degrees.
- 0:15SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, yeah.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: It was gorgeous.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: And then yesterday, we didn't really we it was sunny, but we never really got to that comfortable temperature.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: But that's back today.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: How about 65 today, 73 tomorrow, 62 Friday, 61 on Saturday, all 600?
- 0:29SPEAKER_01: Wait a second, wait a second.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: You said it's gonna snow on the show.
- 0:33SPEAKER_00: I had to retract that while you were gone too.
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: I said, and even 65 on Sunday, although maybe shower's coming.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: Anyway, um, I had to retract this while you were gone because I even said, I said, with the wave fall rolled in this year, and nobody can deny the fact, it was like summer, summer, sort of summer, summer, summer, fall! Yeah.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: And it was like, oh God, I I really thought we were gonna have snow on uh in some capacity for Halloween.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: Especially because our our trunk retreat, which was back on the 17th, which seems like a a lifetime event.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: Uh on the 17th, they'd even predicted that there was gonna be snow on that day.
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: So I thought, oh no, Scott's right, but no.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: I've pushed my prediction back two weeks because when the bottom falls out of this, I get the bad feeling, guys.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: When the bottom when the bottom fold the bottom fool.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: The bottom fool.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: When it falls I went to New Orleans, he went to Jersey.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: I did.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: When the when the bottom falls out on this, I have a feeling it's gonna be bad.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: And that's the other thing, too.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: My leaves, here's another sign that I thought we'd have snow.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: My leaves have been dropping faster than the past couple years.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: Like it's just they're go they're almost all gone already, and we haven't even hit November.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: I know, but I will say the one thing, because New Orleans was great, but the one thing I loved is coming home to all the leaves being yellow and red, and it was awesome.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: And they'll be gone by the weekend.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: It's just happening that quick this year.
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: I came home, I sat on my back deck and just like looked at the leaves, listened to a book.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: I was thinking about that coming from you also got lucky on this, coming from a much warmer climate, and then you still got to come home and not have it be like because if it was like 30 degrees, I'm like, oh, she's gonna be right back in the sick house.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: Oh no, it wasn't terrible.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: It was totally fine.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: And uh, yeah, I'm so glad I'm not in the sick house.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: So now you have uh maybe have this thought that you might be gluten intolerant, and which is it sucks.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: Uh, I mean, except for the people that choose to be that way.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, and we're gonna be.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: You're talking about my mom.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: Maybe.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: Uh Luciana says, uh, listen to this.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: I took because I said, why don't you go to Smith Allergy and just you know, find out?
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: She goes, I took a hair follicle.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: They did a test against a thousand things to see what my body can't tolerate.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: Whoa.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: That's pretty cool.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: Um, then this one, this one came in from 1774.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: GI problems is a sign of gluten intolerance sensitivity.
- 2:49SPEAKER_01: It is what happens to me.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: You can go get tested.
- 2:52SPEAKER_01: I would.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: I think I'm going to because it is just not just don't do this diet where you're gonna put yourself through misery.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: You said, what's it called?
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: The Elimination diet.
- 3:01SPEAKER_01: Listen, don't you eliminate dairy, then you introduce it back in and see if it bothers you.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: You eliminate the gluten.
- 3:07unknown: What a pain in the ass.
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: Just go get it.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: You know, go go go do the test first.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: And if they can't figure anything out, then go the other way.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: This person said, Allie, did you say that you had a stomach problem the week before?
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I had a stomach problem a week ago, but I also had one, it was Labor Day weekend.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: I had a really bad stomach issue.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: So and I don't know what that too many hot dogs?
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: No, I'm just kidding.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: Um You know you're gonna have to give up craft beer if you're gluten intolerant because that stuff's loaded in it.
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: They said if so, dairy products can be difficult to introduce back into your diet.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: That may be the culprit.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: Wait, and I have two other ones.
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: Um, Sammy did DM us this on our our social, and she said, get my gallbladder checked.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: Well, that's an easy one.
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: I don't have one.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: We we checked that out about what, 12 years ago?
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: Oh, wait.
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: Oh, that was rough.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: I remember when you were going through that.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: I mean, she would literally run across the ladies' room's literally right across.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: You exit our studio and you could walk right in there.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: I may have accidentally done that a few times.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: What?
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: Um, but uh you you literally there were times we would turn the microphones off and just so I could throw up.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: Oh god, yeah.
- 4:13SPEAKER_01: And then I got this other one, this direct DM.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: Girl, my daughter has celiac, hers which you know, they have to get rid of gluten from their diet.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: Her symptoms were body covered in bruises, nothing GI at all.
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: I've gone gluten-free for the past month and feel so much better in all areas.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: I only miss beer.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: How scary is your body being covered in bruises?
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: Aren't people asking you questions that are real uncomfortable about your home safety?
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: Yes, but now that you say this, so this was like, I don't know how many months ago.
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: I had brought up that I bruise easily.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:47SPEAKER_01: This was I can't even remember how it came up, but I do.
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: Like I'll be at the gym and I'll just tap accidentally.
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: I'll be lifting something and I'll accidentally tap against my body and I will bruise right away.
- 4:59SPEAKER_01: And at the time, somebody said, Wait, are you gluten-free?
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: And I was like, No, I'm not gluten-free.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: Not even thinking anything about it.
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: But now putting these two things together, my stomach pains, my throwing up, right.
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: The I the fact that I bruise easily, this might be it.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: And then we come back to the fact that it just reared its ugly head.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right?
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: Wouldn't that be wild?
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: And then, well, see, Tiffany bruises easy too, but that's for a different reason.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: She has uh a condition with, you know, like her alpha one.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: I think there's another something that does it.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: It's oh, it's a genetic thing.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: There's two genes that do it.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: So she bruises super easy.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: Uh, like literally, same thing.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: She could literally tap her hand on a door frame, and it's like, what the hell?
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: I'm always finding some weird bruise.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: Um, and then back to my tooth, I had told you that uh we finally came out yesterday and we figured out what happened with me, why I was in uh terrible pain and all that.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: Once everything calmed down in my mouth, when the dentist stands over you and goes, Oh, oh, oh, oh, did you see look what I see?
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: You're a little bit like, okay, what do you see?
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, and I I they I split a wisdom tooth right in half.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: Son of a gun, just split in half.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: But you know, tough like Stallone, I sit here and I'm like, Yeah, I can take this.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: I don't even feel it.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: Um you did, though.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: I oh god, did I?
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: Bonnie said, uh, you are lucky, Scott.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: My fractured tooth, so small, three X ways, X-ways?
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: Maybe my tooth is uh making me speak weird.
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: Three X-rays in a year and a half, couldn't find it, got infected, and uh went through, oh, this is the worst, and went through uh the whole system.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: Uh, I turned septic.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, almost died twice.
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: All right, Bonnie, I don't need that news.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: And then Luciana says, Yeah, because I said, I'm not going to the oral surgeon.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: She's gonna numb me on both sides, and they're gonna use the two spoons to out the tooth.
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: No, I want the laughing gas.
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: Give me the sound effect of the tooth popping.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: And uh if she goes, yeah, uh, no, put me out, Luciana.
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: No noises, uh, no jarring around.
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: Uh it freaks me out.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: Well, yeah, I'm with you on that.
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: But I want to get it out.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: I want to get it done.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: Let's get it over with.
- 7:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but just think about this.
- 7:06SPEAKER_01: If you get the gas and you get the good stuff, this is when you get treated like a little angel baby.
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: So that way, Tiffany can drive you there.
- 7:15SPEAKER_01: You're gonna get the thing done.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: Do you know who I live with?
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: She's gonna sit there and be like, Really?
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: I had brain surgery and you're bitching about this.
- 7:23SPEAKER_00: Do you really know who I live with?
- 7:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but tooth pain is a little different.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, than cracking your skull open.
- 7:28SPEAKER_01: No, what I'm saying is like it's one of those where every time somebody talks about a tooth that hurts, that's pulled, that's something, everyone always does the same thing.
- 7:36SPEAKER_01: Touches their face and goes, Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 7:40SPEAKER_01: So I feel like gas it up.
- 7:43SPEAKER_01: And then what?
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: I'll make you a deal.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: What?
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: Because I'm a rugged turd, right?
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: Look, I'm the guy with a split tooth right now.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: Why don't we do this?
- 7:51SPEAKER_01: What?
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: You can come on in and you can video this thing coming out, and we'll be uh we can use it as a social media video.
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: How about that?
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: I don't want to see it.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: Popping it right out.
- 7:59SPEAKER_01: No, I don't want to see it.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: You don't want to see Dr.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: Minchin in there just ready to go.
- 8:03SPEAKER_01: No.
- 8:03SPEAKER_01: Just yesterday I'm watching a show and there was something medical happening, and I could not watch it.
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: I told Zach, I gotta turn my head.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: You don't watch the pit and stuff like that?
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: I mean, this is pretty grimming.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: Sometimes I turn my head.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: Oh, they all.
